Khushi ... impetuous as ever ... rushes to confront Sheetal ... Sheetal tries her best to evade all Khushi's questions, deny, stall, block ... and finally faced with irrefutable evidence in the shape of a DNA report, breaks down and admits ... yes, Arnav is Arav's father, she came back from the US to find him, and when she did, to her shock, he was married ... she tried to stay away, but landed up in his house ... yes, she knows Arav misses his father, but she can't destroy a family here ... such nice people ...
She actually sounded very believable ...
I watched yesterday's episode of Veera, where the other woman has exactly the same sentiments ... she didn't know Sampooran was married, she doesn't want to tell Sampooran's wife, especially when she learns she's pregnant, but the difference is, she has no choice but to tell the father of her child, because she herself is dying ... the wife, Ratan overhears ...
Sheetal could have been that other woman ... is she really that noble?
And she begs Khushi not to tell Arnav because he will take Arav away from her ... what will she do without Arav ...
Soft-hearted Khushi agrees to keep quiet for the moment ... but unlike with Anjali, I don't see this quiet lasting for too long ... because soft-hearted Khushi can't hide her feelings from Arnav for too long ...
Not long at all ... she can't sleep at night ... and when Arnav worries, she tells him she's missing her father, but at least she has someone she can call a father ...
Morning, Arav has Father's Day in school and is upset again ... Khushi tries to cheer him up and the poor boy claims very bravely that he doesn't care ... but soft-hearted Khushi can see the child's hurt ...
So she rushes to ask Arnav to attend the boy's school ... and a clash of mind vs heart ... Arnav is firm, he will not raise expectations and hopes that cannot be fulfilled, it will be more cruel in the long run ...
Soft-hearted Khushi can't see a child's longing for his father when the father is very much there ... tries to convince him that it won't matter just for once ... but Arnav is firm ... Arav will learn to handle it ...
I agreed with Arnav's pov, of course, it made complete sense ...
But Khushi is arguing from her heart ... and from her (?erroneous) knowledge that Arnav is in fact Arav's father ...
And when Arnav stands firm, Khushi goes back to Sheetal ... it's not fair on the child, Sheetal needs to tell Arav ...
Hmm, first I would think Sheetal needs to tell Arnav ...
And Sheetal argues back, she can't ... Khushi isn't thinking ahead ... if she tells Arnav, and if Arnav wants custody, and she can't live without Arav, then what will happen? Will Khushi leave Arnav? Or will Arnav leave Khushi?
And of course, impetuous soft-hearted Khushi hasn't thought that far ahead at all ... Sheetal played her expertly, portraying herself as completely uninterested in Arnav, only worried about Arav and Arav's need for a father and mother both ... a need Khushi understands completely ...
Sheetal dear, have you never heard of joint custody? And stepchildren do exist in the world, you know ...
But Sheetal has managed to plant the first doubt in Khushi's mind ... judging from the way Khushi was clutching her dupatta, will she hold on to Arnav equally fiercely? Will she be the joker in the pack? Upsetting all Sheetal's calculations? Or will she be mahaan sacrificing bahu?
I hope Khushi tells Arnav ... and soon. By which I mean, really, really soon!

From the time Sheetal track began each time Khushi has been in the vicinity of Sheetal or Aarav, NK is usually around - sabji mandi, kitchen and so on.

The chess moves well:
The white queen was in the middle of the board and the black rook presented a check to the white king. The white queen had left her king unguarded almost getting him caught.
Though invalid Aarav made a castling move saving the king.
Now what is the matter as per Khushi - Aarav needs a father; the corollary is Arnav needs to know. But Khushi's primary aim is that Aarav should know the love of a father without Sheetal having to compromise her custody. (Her dialogue today was I lost my father but was fortunate enough to find one to call my father).
So shaatir dimaag Arnav will have a simple business proposition - here is my bro NK, a good guy settled in Australia, unmarried, carries a spark for Sheetal. She is just like his ideal wife description. He can marry you, Aarav will have a father and Sheetal will not have to give up Aarav's custody. Arnav and Khushi will have each other.
Aarav gains and he will be none the wiser as he is unaware of the DNA and so on. Arnav solves Khushi's problem but will Sheetal accept?
And that will be the checkmate to the black team's plans. The person being Sheetal herself or the person playing Sheetal because of the idea is to entrnech the child and thence Sheetal for whatever ends, it shall fall flat.
Agreed Sandy, that Arnav will look to resolve this becos Khushi is losing it...it will make him uncomfortable but my sense is NK will come into picture only if he makes an offer...why should arnav suggest this businesslike proposal else and why should sheetal accept it or even assign any reasons for it?

Her tears, her worries, her pain for a little boy who needs a father will drive him to find a solution and he could suggest this o Khushi ofc they will discuss with NK. But he has been positive to Sheetal so far so he may not be averse.
Khushi if she says no, how will she justify it unless she wants to bring up the DNA report. Suppose she does not then what are her reasons to oppose?
By businesslike I meant, Arnav will make it seem cut and dry just like any deal he works on. And he will do so so he can make Khushi's worry go away so she can smile. Then will come the main mudda that Khushi wants Aarav's father to be with him, not anyone whom he can call father.
The seeds are there for ASR - first the DNA report then today her saying Aarav needs HIS father, he needs YOU.

Didn't watch the epi, just read the LU and since I have not watched from Friday, so sheetal tells Khushi, aarav is arnav's son and she does not want to lose him as Arnav will want custody........Duhhhhhhhhhh Joint custody le lo.
So khushi is worried about aarav and arnav.......What about her own self, as usual she is not thinking about herself is she?

Okay, why hasn't anyone mentioned Dhruv or him being an evil twin before, well no one is mentioning why is NK sitting jobless in RM and agar pooch bhi liya toh didn't Akash himself say, some things are best left unsaid or hidden...same funda.
Dhruv is evil so no one mentions him and hence they are more than pleased to embrace NK in place of Dhruv.
Why did Sheetal not show any reaction when she saw Akash, about him resembling Dhruv:
1. Bad acting....actor and character
2. She is line maaroing Arnav so ussay kya farak padta hai.
3. Dhruv has long hair and a beard, so she did not see the resemblance between dhruv and a clean shaven akash.

I am kinda boycotting the show till Sobtiji atleast starts resembling the well groomed ASR and I do not have faith in writers doing any justice to Khushi's character, so the only thing worthwhile for me was the Akash - Atleast I can crack jokes on kam dialogues, zyaada baal, Seen yet unseen etc..
CVs make Dograji Evil Dhruv Singh Raizada, will compel me to atleast watch this show.

Deleteone little thing about dhruv.. there has been no mention of him at all in the serial, except for that bit of a dialogue "aur dhruv ka kya hoga?" eons ago. so if at all such a possibility exists, it will be a complete surprise to the normal TV watching folk, who did not even know that mama-ji has another son.
(waisey, the initial character sketch showed that dhruv was studying in the states.. made stupid sense that he did not attend his brother's wedding, but how can such a young person father a 5 year old child?) {ok, not how, but plausibility... } so i'm thinking this time the character sketch will say he is older than akash (DUH! he was mama's son before mami became his wife) and was sambhalo-ing the overseas enterprises all this while.. so will he be older than arnav??
hope they properly introduce his entry, especially via manorama mami's dialogues . methinks " dhruv wants to return, so akash will take over abroad" makes sense. what do you think?

She is at the moment only focused on Aarav's needs..She has not seen that Sheetal has actually made the Arnav connection tho a tenuous one..
When she understands the meaning of that,her hold on that dupatta will tighten...only this time it will be Arnav that she will be holding....
For tat two things will have to occur...
Arnav has to listen to Khushi
Khushi has to feel the loss
At the moment Arnav doesn't look like he is listening to her wishes but when he can't get thru to her sensibly, he will listen to her wishes..and he will finally HEAR what Khushi is all about (the hidden Khushi that he is sensing more and more)
Now what happens after that is the aspect of the moves on the board...who senses victory, who moves in whose space...who trumpets the bugle of victory before the close of war.
Shwetha, my condolences....read the sad news that Dogra & Pansare are leaving the show...they will be shown as transferring abroad, hence they will depart together...sniff, sniff, sniff..........If this is true, will be sorry to see another 2 perfectly good characters out of the show, but, happy for the actors themselves - hope they get good roles that do them justice!

A duaghter kept away from her father because her grandfather believed this man was the reason his daughter died, that he was forever separated from his daughter. SO the grandfather brings up the child away from her father but in the end in the face of her immense love for her father even the grandpa concedes defeat.

on fan sentiments...i guess thats the biggest casualty...it will lie by the wayside...soon to be forgotten ...by us too...we have made the mistake of getting emotionally involved in a fictional story...the sooner we all detox the better for us...

ReplyDeleteI don't obviously know whether they will make Sheetal White ot grey ( maybe off-screen considerations will matter) but if i were to just go by what has been shown yesterday..
Sheetal tells Khushi she doesn't want Arnav to know of Aarav's parentage....THIS IS AN IMPORTANT POINT in the conversation..whichever way u look at it, be it to actually hide the news from Arnav for the reasons mentioned or to make sure Khushi understand that Aarav's parentage is to be kept secret from Arnav for a specific reason already mentioned by Sheetal.
This can mean when the confrontation happens
Sheetal will refuse Khushi's claim.. again this can be for two reasons....Sheetal really doesn't have anything to back this up with Arnav (if Arnav says, i haven't fathered ur kid, unless Sheetal can back it up, why should she anything else)so wouldn't it be better for her to say that Khushi has misunderstood the matter....In the bargain, Sheetal has probably killed two birds with one stone, if she has an agenda.
when the confrontation happens, what does Sheetal's words make Khushi.....a fool in front of Arnav? or something else??
Khushi will continue to believe that Sheetal is lying for a reason and so she will continue to harangue Arnav about it
This can have some repercussions on the Arnav_Khushi equation!!

the first 15-20 mins were really awesome.....diffi to like KSG...but i guess he is gud actor..(i will say that with a gun to my shoulder hehehe) I always liked Anita H...actually haven't seen her acting at all but one of the babes in tellywood who have a charm of their own...and to imagine be in some sort of reckoning after so many years on television where last year's bahu, is this year's MIL
on the off-screen its almost a yawn now....
on a movie reco...bad at it...i rarely can sit thru movies....i have this problem of getting fidgety after half hour...so i have this bad habit...i watch a movie for a little while and then do something else and never get around to watchin it and if i do..i have forgotten all about it once i have watched...
as u can see...i watched half hr of TMLS and logged on to R&R jlt....maybe the girls can give u a reco....books is more my thing...but u guys can tell me a good movie to watch i will one movie over a period of 2-3 days
