7/11 - Epi 382 ... Sacrifice? Or Entrapment?

Wednesday 7th Nov '12

Sheetal gives some maha gyaan about how if she discloses the truth about Arav, it will lead to either Khushi leaving Arnav or Arnav leaving Khushi ... so she will sacrifice her khushi and Arav's khushi for Khushi's khushi ...
Khushi is overcome that someone can be even more sacrificing than she can ... so she prays to DM to make sure she is the bigger sacrificer ... methinks she should pray for some brains ... Listen to your husband for once, Khushi, he said the right thing.
SN - Khushi is right in her place, though, but wrong way to go about it. Just tell Arnav what you've found out, and then deal with it together out in the open. Don't listen to Sheetal and hide things from your own husband!

And make those prayers for a double helping of brains .. because Arnav actually lands up at the school function ... after his long and very sensible bhashan to Khushi of yesterday ... *head desk*

Never seen a Father's Day function like this before, when anyone can stand in as father ...
The guy playing the tabla didn't know how to play a table! Can't help it ... I notice such things!
Khushi didn't know Arnav plays drums ... but Sheetal did ...
But Khushi isn't thinking about Sheetal coming into Arnav's life ... after all, Arnav loves her, she loves him, and Sheetal herself has said she doesn't want to come between them ... 

Touching moment ... to see Arav's  delight at winning, his spontaneous 'dad' ... his conscious 'sorry' ...
Arnav's awkward moment ... his recovery ... careful not to let down the kid or spoil his moment ...

Family all happy as excited Arav recounts his moment of joy ... Nani says mini ASR has changed big ASR ... umm, Nani, Khushi already did that, remember?! And Nani adds that it's time Arhi started their own family ...
Khushi looks upset, gives a forced smile ... Arnav notices that something is wrong ...

Khushi peels onions in the kitchen thinking furiously that it's not fair to keep a child from his father and she has to tell Arnav ... shabaash, that's the first sensible decision in a while!
Sheetal comes in and tells her not to tell Arnav because Arnav and Arav are getting very close ...
Khushi remembers Sheetal's words about her having to leave Arnav or Arnav leaving her ... but she can't help it ... she has to tell Arnav anyway ... after that, what will be, will be ...
Yep, very true, Khushi ... tell Arnav and let him sort it out with Sheetal ... just make sure you stay put!

Really sweet Arshi scene ... and Arnav shaved! :)) Arnav gets the room all romantic with candles, a note and a rose ...
SN - when did his handwriting become so legible?!
Khushi, you changed me as a person, made me a better human being ... I will never feel lonely again in my life, because I know you're always with me ... the two of us make up our world ... it's time we start our family ...'
She pulls away ... 'and what if in our little world, there is someone else besides the two of us?'
'What?'
"Arav.'
And Arnav is angry first ... he went there only for Khushi, he didn't want to go there, she's overreacting again ...
And Khushi finally tells him ... 'Arav is your son.'


Precap was strange ... Arnav didn't seem furious and adamant ... has Khushi told him about the DNA report? Has he realised that there is something wrong somewhere?
Or did he really go further with Sheetal than he indicated to Khushi?


SN ... cv's are stalking this blog for sure ... have written here so many times, Arnav was alive but not living ... today he said it in the note :)

    read the LU and saw last 5 mins of the epi...
    from the LU, it did not look like i was watching IPK and then the last 5 mins actually confirmed that i was not watching it...a pale shadow of it....well shit happens!!

    apart from many things that Khushi has taught arnav, (bringing to the fore his hitherto hidden talents) has he also learnt to write well or has been taking handwriting and calligraphy lessons...i thot the letter was such a beautiful hand....
    i thot he will begin by thanking her for that principally....baki sab baad mein....

    Madhura...please stop torturing us with your "acting"

      ROFL i made a post on If about the handwriting.. and someone asked me , "stop comparing the old IPK and this!"

      the whole thing infact was one long filler. there were only 2 dialogues of significance in 20 minutes.

      if you saw the last 5 mins, you're all set..

      mini update.. khushi asks arnav to come to aaravs event.. arnav makes salman-style last minute entry.. gets onto a jugalbandi competition with some other baap-beta combos.. proved to be a good drummer.. shital knew.. he was bb player, drummer, casual dater..all around college hero..my oh my.. was this the same khadoos?

      arav calls him "dad".. but says sorry.
      back home, aarav is all glowing praise about "Mr. ASR came, won" (SN loved aarav all excited and childlike)
      nani says now that asr has changed ASR for the better, time seems right for arshi to start a family.. khushi leaves the room.. everyone thinks she went away shy. shital follows her into the kitchen(where K is cutting onions to hide her tears) and asks why she called Arnav to school, S does not wast A-a bonding.

      arnav decorates the bedroom for khushi, writes her a love letter (the handwriting that used to look like dead insects.. suddenly looks like a 17 year old girl's homework assignment!!)

      and tells khushi that nani has decreed.. lets start a family! but khushi turns away from the rabba ve.. and admits to Arnav that aarav is his son. precap: arnav and khushi in shital's room , shital says i dont care, aarav is ONLY my son.

    J..kya baat kar rahi ho yaar... I mean, I saw an episode after like 2 days but I simply LOVED it...now things are heating up, the story is moving forward..

    and actually I can't figure out sheetal's motives..on one hand she looks VERY believable, on the other, she might be completely manipulating the two...

    khushi is being khushi, completely in character.. I mean, she grew up without her own set of parents, how can she allow another child to grow up like that? I think she can't look beyond the "aarav ko uske pita ki zaroorat hain" and today when she asked arnav if there can be a third person in their small world, I could see she was doing EXACTLY that... she realises aarav needs his dad but doesn't realise he should be with his mother as well.. she is probably thinking about adopting aarav, but not thinking of the consequence of what would happen if aarav is kept away from his mother and how unfair it would be on sheetal when she does that...

    now sheetal does think about this so she has already warned khushi, but khushi doesn't want to think too much into it... from today's episode, it didn't seem at all that khushi would leave arnav so that they both can be together, it seemed that she would instead want to accomodate aarav into their family... just like garima had adopted payal - even payal was shashi's firs wife's daughter.. she has garima as an inspiration and wants to do just that, but forgets that here, aarav's mother is very much alive and able to take care of aarav..

    Arnav on the other hand is not interested in making either sheetal or aarav a long term member of his life, but is infact quite keen to start his own family..I found the way he tried to seduce khushi with the candles and love letter quite cute actually and not at all out of character..he knows his khushi inside out and knows she would rather get seduced when he gets emotional than with other stuff.. :)) abt the beautiful handwriting in love letter, can't believe I'm defending that blooper, but it looks to me more like a deliberate effort he made so that she can read it.. or got it written from someone else just so that she could easily read it.. after all, emotions are everything.. :) would have made more sense if he had written it in his horrible handwriting and when khushi got all irritated that she still cannot read it and about to keep the letter away, then arnav enters and narrates everything that he has written.. it was a bit cheesy for ASR, but then, this is the man who has accepted that "love can reduce anyone, to anything..." :)

    I loved the episode, eagerly waiting for tomorrow..

    I am taking sheetal on face value right now...in the sense that she firmly believes that arnav is aarav's father and probably came to delhi to meet him and tell him the truth, but decided against it when she realised he was now married... and now is building up a story of how she never wanted to meet him in the first place..

    Arnav's reaction here is quite unpredictable and interesting, because he has grown up without a father too and knows the need of a father, plus he has taken a huge liking for arnav.. :)

    Am glad things are not stretching and the grand confrontation is gonna happen tomorrow.. :)

      I am waiting to see whether Sheetal admits to arnav about aarav being his son....i feel she wont..somehow the convo in the precap was all golmol...as if she is saying in veiled terms that "ur wife has a bee-inher-bonnet" and wants to take away my son becos he looks like but he is my son only" and Khushi obv has been told the reason why she will not admit to aarav bein the son....so this part sits rather well for an MU unless ASR uses his perhaps existing brains

      oh yes..only thing I ROFL-ed abt in today's epi was the jugalbandi competition... :D LMAO..made me feel as though I was watching a reality show.. :P but then, I ignored it in favour of the story, which did go forward in leaps today.. :) so me happy.. finally something's happening.. other than thanda rabba veys and sheetal's pathetic acting..\

      I think IPK has come at a point where you stop viewing every scene and look for progression in story line instead.. for me, watching after two days was a refreshing break and it took the storyline ahead too.. :)

      P.S. this is when I ignore the off screen drama.. I'm soo waiting for the UK event to get over so that fnally we'll get some confirmation, if any..

      P.P.S. is anybody watching the diwali events?? Barun looks soooo uncomfy there!!! :S Its as if he has been forced to do the hosting and actually he has to behave like arnav there, so it isn't even all that difficult, he is doing that for the past one and half yrs.. :S anyway, Sanaya was SO beautiful and graceful yesterday.. :)))

      madsie, the episodes this week have all been tightly woven and moving fast.. in fact, today's with the never ending drummer scene was the slowest.. but then, the shattering of the classic traits ....
      like the "all-american boy"-ization of college arnav and the absolute blindness of the other raizadas.. grr.

      you made a great point about garima and payal being khushi's model.. there , the first wife died,and was out of the picture.. here, the first woman will be around.. khushi needs to think this through, or she needs arnav's decision-making.

      and yes, this week, if I take shital at face value, all i get is a handful of black lentils (kaala daal). considering the type of mom she should have been, the acting is just that.. "acting".

      mads, saw the diwali event yesterday, when Lakshmi devi's story was told.. i had the feeling that sanaya was really uncomfortable, but tried her best.even her steps were awkward and careful.. not at all like she usually is when she is dancing.

      barun was teetering between Barun and ASR.. i wished, for one moment, if he had donned his suit and his arrogant Boss avatar, he would have charmed the pants off everyone.. but here he was, all nervous and cute and shy and OMG i dont want to remember his expression when that actor in drag lifted him.. blushing like a virgin.. what was that!! is he an actor or not!!!

      that was one thing i loved about badi ma.. she was perfectly in character, even when being funny. no wonder the other female anchor (sorry, dont know her name) had to do the bulk of anchoring.. barun bately had three lines and a what the!..

      I don't have to look at BS to know that he will be uncomfortable in such events...seems a person who can't play to the gallery ...an essential trait in people who are in showbiz.....he doesn't seem to be kind who can laugh at forced humour...something the others almost excel in or are atleast at ease in...

      He is most defi a private guy who has been thrust into this position of fame...well ofc he would be fool not to use this chance to do well in life and so is making the effort...maybe he will ease into it over time...

      Rekhs, I know what you mean by the last para... :) infact I don't know if you know this, but Sanaya (during the MJHT times) and her BF, Mohit had been asked to anchor Zara nachke dikha..a celebrity dance reality show where they would have a girls vs boys kinda fight.. and they both also took a lot of time to adjust, mainly coz of their REALLY tight shooting schedules, they had to do lots of retakes and finally they were taken off the hosting... but they weren't really upto it then, they were chosen coz they were then the most popular jodi .. :)

      Mads, I agree with you, the story is moving, and I didn't really mind the long drawn out jugalbandi sequence ... one, it made the function seem more real, that there were actually other people there, and two, like I have always been going on about - give screen space to the supporting cast, don't burden the leads with everything all the time! Here supporting cast was also with BS/SI all the time, so at least they got a respite with the father-son pairs.

      I liked the Arnav-Arav scene on stage .. I will be sorry if Arav was in the know with Sheetal, I hope he's just an innocent pawn ... the kid is cute many times, if you accept that his attitude is a cover for his insecurity of now knowing his father and being teased about it. Which really shouldn't have happened in a country like the US, but oh well ...

      Sheetal is playing her game very carefully ... wonder what she will admit to ...
      Like I said, her plan can only go further if Arnav DID have sex with Sheetal at least once ... otherwise it will be nixed tomorrow itself.

      But I am SO GLAD they are moving the story at a decent pace ... Khushi couldn't keep the news to herself for even a day ... she had to tell Arnav. So unlike the last time, when they both bottled up their feelings and their individual truths for so many months.

      Agree with you guys about Barun hosting ... he is uncomfortable and it shows. Mads, Sanaya and Mohit looked far more comfortable on stage, maybe Barun doesn't have so much time for retakes ... but I think hosting is just not his thing. Then again, hosting and that free flow of chatter develops with practice, not overnight, especially for shy people, so give him time.

      Hosting also requires a certain amount of being think-skinned, being ready to be a buffoon at times..a natural gift of the gab....being able to say things naturally as if u mean very word of what u say....it doesn't come easily to ones who have a natural distaste for shoshebaazi....over the top praising, or tomfoolery in front of an audience...tho he may be laugh riot in his private group.....its a matter of easing into it with practice....as u say Dia

    you can say she did not confide in payal about shyam, so how can she leak husband-wife matters..
    but still why is khushi dealing with all this alone? was that khushi all along? no. she discussed the first anjali khulasa with all members of her family. she discussed the raizada resignation with each and every one.. after her wedding, she closed off.. and we never heard a peep from her again?
    was the forced wedding the beginning of the end?

      The forced wedding was the beginning of the end...esp becos there was not supposed to be a wedding then..or even if there was, it was to be one with emotional distance....even using that they could have shown a better track and ended it on a high note...rather than bring a past fling into a "epic love" story......there is nothing epic about it...by bringin that angle they made amockery of their superlative efforts...

      She did not know of her feeling sduring the resignation. Anjali thing involved Shyam and her, had to break the engagement, had to be discussed with family.

      Forced marriage- K took a decision which angered her family...and she did not even know the reason behind it. Remember that day when she left RM and told ASR she wouldn't return unless he came home and told her parents the reason...he used Payal's marriage to blackmail her again. I feel they built up a reasonable plot there. And after a point, the Guptas stopped asking, they accepted them as a happily married couple...and Khushi did not want to hurt them with the sad state of affairs. If she really opened up prior to marriage, she should have shared her feelings about ASR , the almost kiss at diwali etc. with Payal which she never did. And her troubled feeling for ASR with Amma before she was forced to get engaged to Shyam.

      Even when she went out for the money thing (hope i am right, since I did not watch the epi)on Payal's first wedding, did she go with Amma's blessings? Why did they blame her for breaking the wedding? Was it only because she was late?

      su, of couse, no girl simply opens up about matters of her heart.. but khushi did not keep quiet about that too.. she asked shyam about heartbeats speeding up.. (another matter that the slime mistook her intent, but ) she did indeed ask someone about those too.

      yes, i admit that khushi shut out her family by not explaining the reason for the forced marriage.. but then, the explanation was, we were in love, di wanted to see me married, so we married! ASR style. (remember the HMC act)

      and the family indeed forgave them on holi.. because their hurt was not against the wedding itself, it was against the elopement. so (i remember each and every one of us on R&R asking for a garima-khushi convo about shyam..) after the family's acceptance, was it so difficult for khushi to talk to payal about matters of her heart? about matters of a pervy BIL in the house? she is her own jiji, living in her sasuraal, dont tell me they never talk!! when khushi was too despo, okay. when khushi was filling her days with dabba service and tuitions, okay..

      but what happened during the days of kidnapping? okay, even if payal would have called her pagal for having morbid thoughts, ek doh conversation toh banta hai na? and once she heard him say i love you.. (yes, she cannnot call her sister and say "i think my husband is in danger for his life because he told me ILU") but still, once she had solid proof of his absence.. why did she not go to payash?

    Episode was nice...so glad Khushi told Arnav..let's see how he takes it forward..he did not look too upset or angry in the precap..so its either SUI or he just did not want to disclose too much to Khushi...

    made the mistake of checking IF just now...craziness is back i see!! apparently Karan Goddwani confirmed BS leaving news..well... hope its not true..got used to seeing him as ASR..i kinda feel sorry for all those crazy fans on IF who according to their own comments are all crying (ahem!!)

      after a bit of research..i realised they said BS quit and also that Aarav is not Arnav's son..now everyone is like which piece of news is KG talking about..quitting wala ya beta wala!!

      btw..the blog is really being stalked...spoilers abhi dekha..whatever most of the experts said here..is turning out to be true.. :D

      i am optimistic yaar..will wait for a confirmation from BS himself..uske baad..Dia ke edits hain naa whenever withdrawal symptoms hit me!! :)

      None of us can really tell.

      But I feel it is highly unlikely.If they want to give Barun leave, they could utilise this track. Arnav dies and ASR returns...chooses to go on a long business trip letting K believe he has reunited with his first love and his son...until Barun returns from his leave.

      Who knows maybe he will return with a new face, considering the PH is looking for new actors.
      We are all worried about BS leaving. I might even stop watching the show regularly. But right now I think it is best to live in the present, concentrate on the onscreen drama. I am also stupid in believing Barun will not leave now. *hugs*

      Biraj, no idea..gargs has not said anything else after that..so we are also in the dark abt it..

      My theory is still that this is all a publicity stunt...becos the fandom is crazy (we all included)the story will go on along unexpected lines....we may be thinking that arnav is going away..and they will surprise with a new twist which might be more palatable. Don't ask me what will that achieve, maybe the fandom's gratitude!!

      Beocs it sounds a stupid thing for the channel to consider even if BS is going...i am tryin to rationalise it by sayin that maybe this is all to whip up a storm...all news is gud news....u see how attached the fandom is...
      they will rant and shant but will watch until BS is on screen...so my sense is he may go but why should the track be morbid is what i can't understand...
      even if the ch has compulsions to keep the serial on for other reasons why should they spoil the love story ?
      I may be missing something her becos i really don't know how this bus works....but my reading is that even bad news sells...or this could be some sabotage...

      Su my even greater fear is the purported storyline where ASR goes of with sheetal and there is a new guy for Khushi....i want to stop watching if thats the track...I just couldn't bear it....for me the story ended at the farmhouse.....

      Normally I just tune out the usual madness on IF....but this time somehow my gut feel is that there really is some major offscreen drama brewing here....its not just rumors....and the onscreen drama is very open ended and will play out based on the offscreen happenings.....even though the PH disowned kernal I never quite bought into that.....the new PH girls post on kernal's thread makes kernal seem legit and her post on her own thread suggests some major happenings....and this from someone who staunchly defends the PH.....not to forget Karan's tweet......sigh.....

      what I hear is Barun decided to quit because the current storyline destroys the character...ASR walks away with Sheetal and new guy for Khushi....which is pretty much what Gargi's source had said too....

      Rekhs you are right..any news sells...i for one am a little doubtful about the whole thing (a part of me is like the phangirls..i dont want him to quit!!)..but just think about it...

      1. why would Karan tweet about Barun's quitting?? for one, the biggies (read channel/ph) have not said a word, forget BS since he does not seem to like talking much..but why would Karan want to face the wrath of all those fans?? koi pagal hi hoga jo aise jarega!!

      2. if he is quitting before the UK trip..why is he going?? to promote a show he just quit? seems a bit unbelievable...

      3. he is giving an interview on Noreen Khan's show on DIWALI..and apparently answers questions about the whole quitting thing..would he be insensitive enough to announce it then? that would be heartless after all the love he got..

      i just don't see it happening..if it does..kya karein?? saw the new guy..sorry but Sanaya ke bagal mein woh bilkul nahi dikhega..

      Rekha I have no idea how this business works. Hard though it it is believe (I didn't believe it for the longest time despite all the stories and rumors) that the PH wants to be done with this show is more than obvious now...especially given the kind of things they have been saying about the story having run its course....

      I also think that the channel has been looking for another PH.....the rest who knows....

      I am inclined to believe the crap track and character destruction story this time around.....because its too horrific for unconnected people to have come up with this same ghastly idea.....and because kernal's post, priya's post and Maham's post all basically seem to suggest a destruction of the story and the characters....I'll be more than happy to be wrong......but IF its true I don't want to know and don't want to watch....I would rather live with the ArHi in my mind...

      let us look at the chronology of events. First thing that came up was BS resigning.
      Then PH wants to shut shop, kill their baby etc...
      SP wants to hang on , get a new PH.

      How is it the PH's fault if the actor playing the male lead who is irreplacable wants to leave?
      And if they want to bow out gracefully but has been forced to drag on by the channel?

      They will not let ASR leave with Sheetal. This story is about Arhi, not Khushi. They might kill him off with all that talk on 'if something happens to me'.

      Today, I felt there might be an Arhi separation coming up with his 'the feeling when we are not near each other' dialogue.

      PH seems to be on a collision course...but i just get the feelin that they will not spoil the actual track Just for the "i told u so" moral high ground...if not for anything else....they have lost credibility...they wouldn't want to go out without a bang!!

      They will be extremely foolish if they do harakiri with the track becos at the end of it..its their story not Barun's...he is only an actor....not the creator....

      I am not privy to a single detail. I am merely going by events reported from diff sources including those representing the PH...by their own admission.

      On ur point on chronological order, it hardly matters....becos if the story now is about killing the soul of the story...the blame for the mess will only lie with the creators of the show not anyone else.....plain and simple....

      IPK is not Barun's story or SP's story, it is Gul's story or rather her team's story. So, if they lack the creativity or ability (they have already admitted to have "run the course", whatever that meant) to give the story a credible path for its lead character,its the PH's loss in terms of credibility, irrespective of who precipitated the matter

      It is a big mess, most of it created by the IF.
      The poularity is killing the show.

      All i can tell you is, 'don't worry', they will not kill their baby. There are so many ways they could have done it if they wanted to go that way, yesterday again was pure IPK: it was all about Khushi and Arnav and both were perfectly within character.

      WE need to have some blind trust in the CVs too.
      Try not reading too much in to the offscreen drama, it is never going to get over, whoever creates it. Personally, I feel a whole lot of the runours are started by rival show guys.

      I can understand your defensive mechanism totally, it is better to be prepared. But don't let it deter you from enjoying the show, yaar.

    I want to rant about two things:
    1. Idiot SP. Why do they always put all this stupid assorted stuff in the 11 pm slot. That is the only time I can surely rewatch the show, all other times I end up missing if it is a busy day. That is whats been happening this week. And I’d love to rewatch with the quality we are getting nowadays.
    2. Idiot CVs. Why did they not show the candle lit bedroom as the precap yesterday?
    Good that they are making up with the promo, which by itself is only a CP from the track. At least it is better than nothing.


    So, Sheetal has no problems if ASR gets to know the truth. She has a ready made answer, it all happened by chance. Now if it was not for all the spoilers telling again and again that this is not his kid, I’d believe her too. But ASR did tell K very clearly there was nothing like that between them. So, when the confrontation with Sheetal happens, he can clear his part again…that’d be the end of the track which is clearly not any time now.

    Hmmm..so 2 options:

    1. Oops I forgot about that one night or
    2. What the hell is this woman upto? – I’ll go with this one because this is what Nishi seemed to imply. ASR has become Khushi’s Arnav. He thinks the world is a perfect place now- and very soon he is going to get hit with some harsh reality- that his wife wants to order a DNA test against his words.
    And will the’ truth’ create an explosion in the family too? Very interesting.
    Will ASR be angry with K? He had told her once not to demand proof of his love….not that he has any right to….

      What is her motive?
      Money? Arnav? Why now? Where was she all these years?Aarav said she keeps KC for his dad every year. So his dad must be alive, but obviously separated. Or she was keeping it for Arnav all these years? Then why did she not coming looking for him all these years?
      So what is her motive? Is she being blackmailed? At first I thought she could be blackmailed on Aarav’s Raizada connection being exposed, which will take Aarav away from her (since she may not be his real mom.). But that has already happened, the DNA connection has come out in the open now. Motive???

      The joker: Shyam? Really? Already?
      But he is the one who goes and hunts down all the blasts from the pasts. Hmmmm….

      The fifth card: the chhota packet: I am kind of getting convinced on this one. Aarav will be the key to the mystery- a friend indeed- he is ASR’s friend for a lifetime. Also, ASR said Aarav is a brave kid, he can take a lot. So if Sheetal is fighting this battle for Aarav, Aarav himself will solve the dilemma- the beginning and end of the track. Also Nishi said to connect the beginning and end of Monday’s epi. The end was the chess game, where Aarav won- legal or illegal- and Aarav is on Arnav’s team, not Sheetal’s- from the BB game.

      Khushi: she might look weak, but once she has confessed the truth to ASR, what is her part? The decision is his to take…if he does not want Aarav, she has to let it be…if he wants him, she is anyway for it.

      Or is it about her trusting him in spite of the dna report?

    Dia: a heartfelt thanks goes out to you for your wonderful write-ups and, to all the R&R girls who make this blog come alive with povs, analysis, dissections, et al - in a way, IPKKND's magic kind of transposes itself to HERE!

    The offscreen drama really got to me today and after reading the first 10mins of LU on IF, I gave up with a heavy heart and went to watch Looper.......

    of course, I couldn't stay away from the blog and thanks to you guys, I do feel better now...in fact, good enuf to watch the last 5 minutes of the show....this is show business after all, but ARHI's magic ne apna kaam dikha diya tha or SKD was a warm spot to be in....hope its not RIP for them yet...

Riding on the hard work and efforts of others. Quick to take credit for success and quicker to apportion blame. Love to rant and talk a lot bt at the end you wnonder what of import was said?


    Their biggest astra - our baby why will we kill it.
    I say in today's asli duniya, mother's sell their babies for money, force them to beg, hit them abuse them for no fault, watch them be abused by other family members and not have the guts to fight for the child.

    I did not mention it on Ash's thread but the content about arnav's new love being sheetal was teh exact thing G said all that time ago. Even then I said nahi the story writer will not agree but looks like they are holding course.

    Use the remote, don't get attached - well all I will say is karma or Law of balance applies toa each of us. What goes around comes around. And I hope these lying salesman get back what they have unleashed - deceit, disappointment, chaos.

    And one more thing folks - on forum 32 - there is a post called why geet part 2 will not happen. they have clearly said, once the concept is sketched and approved it becomes the property of the channel and not creative team. I had this doubt when I had spoken of IPK as a golden goose so it is now clear, SPA garnered crative recognition for jodi, mami and shyam. Bas aur kya could they get. IMRC the other PH is financing this I guess and gul and co are only creative consultants. khel khatam paisa hajam for them.

    So yes I think they are being purposely venegeful and by creating smoke and illusions with all the leaks diverting attention when they are the prime culprits.

    I like Viraf Patel in Mahi Way - character similar to ASR but softer nicer. He had huge fan following there. So I get the game, make IPK a family saga for TRP and loop in online audiences thru the new male actor. Fancy thought - naah simple logical deduction. When things look very complicated look for simplicity is my motto

    Barun leaving well I tell you it has to be something significant if indeed he is for truly which thinking TV star will not want his daily soap running well when his movie releases? And yeah he is being given exposure by Star so I understand importance of himas a resource / asset.

    Star promotes the show
    Actors act
    Directors direct

    But creators create - story scenes characters and the others follow.

    So good or bad, creatives create because channel only approves teh macro plot. Now usually perhaps actirs may resist and amendments may happen or creatives will rule. But what if what is created is so crappy that the actor director camreaman says enuff, I will not be party to this massacare. Should we blame them all for jumping ship or accolade them for speaking up.

    Bottomline gul and her team want show closed so they can crtae another baby to later massacare and abuse. They need the serial closed hook or crook. TRP nosedive, leads leave, team en masse rresigns, anything as far as it will help them give channel apuppy dog face and get their way.

      I hate to say this but I told you so. Having had enough experience with this PH, I smelt the rat as soon as the rumours broke out about Barun wanting to quit. The pattern is so painfully similar to their earlier show. Here are some similarities I noticed between the two shows.


      Casting:

      They cast good looking, talented, known but not too famous faces as leads and utilise them well. In Geet, Gurmeet had done the role of Ram before he was cast as Maan. While he had his own following as the religious hero of an epic, the fan following reached phenomenal proportions after Geet started, thanks to the new look given to him and a crisp detailed sketch for his character. Drashti is a known face having acted in Dil mil gaye but was never the lead. So Geet came as a golden opportunity for her to showcase her talent and she did, winning numerous fans. In IPK too, the male lead, Barun - though having to his credit a couple of shows, never reached the heights as he did in this show. Sanaya has never played the lead, although she too was a known face and was immensely talented. The supporting cast is also well chosen with some veteran and talented actors. To the PH's credit, they get the most talented writers, directors, cameramen etc who collectively get the best of the cast.


      The story:

      The PH specialise in showcasing the typical M&B type love stories with naive, chirpy but righteous heroine and arrogant,brooding hero with a mysterious dark past. Geet started off as a show on social issues but it became popular only after it was turned into a love story.

      Their USP

      With the above they create the most magical jodis who get the viewers (particularly the online ones) hooked to the show.

      Their attention span: (Now this is my guess and may not be the fact)

      The attention span of this PH for any show is but one year, which I think is reasonable considering they specialise in love stories which if dragged can only be massacred. Accordingly, the actors are signed up for a year and, I suspect, in not the best of terms and conditions, considering that they are not that famous at the time of signing up. However, their shows become hugely popular and they are not in position to close it when they want to. At the time of contract renewal, the actors jack up their rates which the H given their limited budget are not always able to accommodate or if they do, they cut on the production cost elsewhere. This could explain why the show which starts off on a grandiose scale ends up looking quite shabby as the months go on.


      Their inability to handle two many big shows at the same time:

      Having limited talent pool, they move them around, giving more attention to their newer shows and letting the older ones run their course. To hasten the process of winding up their shows, they start floating rumours of actor tantrums, restrictions by channel etc. Back then avid fans of Geet criticised IPK for robbing them of a good show. Now it is IPK fans to lament what could have been and what is not. There too when the show was going downhill they came up with tantrums by Drashti and Gurmeet, Gurmeet having signed Punjabi film and hence not interested in the show etc etc. Sounds familiar?

      PH Vs Channel:

      This is another similarity which I noticed. In Geet the channel (Star One) kept changing the focus group. So what started off as a show on honour killing was turned to a love story and later a family drama. The channel was to wind up but the deadline kept being moved ahead. Under the uncertain environment they were operating the PH had the perfect excuse for changing course but then that still did not excuse the appaling scripts they came up with. So what if the show was changed from a love story to a family drama? Does that justify the complete massacre of characters? Well, they seem to think it does. I don't know the inner details of what is happening here but I suspect that following the nosediving of the trps, particularly after kidnapping track, they were given to understand that the show will get replaced by the Sanjay Leela Bansali show. For some reason that show got delayed and they were supposed to continue at least until Feb. Having another show scheduled on a competing channel, they did not want to expend their energies on a show they want to close any way. So they come up with the most absurd plots, discarding the more logical ones. The male lead's need to leave may have also made it easier to shift the blame to him.


      The lesson I have learnt from all this is:

      Watch their shows, if you like to see the magical way they weave the love story around their leads BUT don't get too attached with the characters as they are bound
      break your heart at some point. Detached attachment is the key to your sanity as long as you are hooked on to a show by this PH.

      I learnt to do this and am a much happier person now than I was when Geet was going downhill.

      Sandy I wish I could like this post......yesterday I didn't want to post on IF too in Ash's thread so for for the first time I came here and posted because I couldn't hold myself anymore....I had the same thought about the plot line that Gargi had mentioned here sometime back....which seemed too horrific to be true.....if that indeed is what they r envisaging then I don't blame anyone who has been of this so far for wanting to quit...be it Barun or kernal (who perhaps is part of the writing team)....more strength to them for refusing to be part of this massacre. I have no "source" or any information other than what I have been reading....usually I ignore most of the drama on IF.....but this time there seems to be plenty happening behind the scenes and most of it unpleasant.....

      Sandy *hugs* Honestly, today the offscreen drama is getting to me ... I don't even want to update! Yesterday was great - I was off on a shopping trip with some girlfriends to Shenzen, phone not working, 3G not working, offline the entire day ... came back and checked IF - same old rumors, I thought ... but they seem to be getting stronger and stronger this time.

      Biraj and Sandy, I also remembered Gargi's news ... had a quick chat with Priya on joey's thread and it seems there is a major tussle going on between PH and SP, and Barun for whatever reason is in the center.

      My impression - Gul comes across as a really petty revengeful lady ... DB put in her papers and Gul gave her screenspace but such a shitty track that Anjali went from the most-loved to the most hated sister within a span of few weeks.

      Barun first went off for his movie, then gave notice because he wanted a better deal, SP stepped in for him and Gul mata seems to have gotten pissed off - so she's killing off ASR the character ... besides, she's busy with her new baby. Also, 4lions last two love stories show the same pattern - a great show till the leads get married, then they run out of steam. And they are absolutely USELESS at dealing with any sensitive issues - a rude arrogant guy and a chirpy bubbly girl falling in love is the extent and sum total of their creativity. They're good at that - and at nothing else.

      What just might work if they take it this way ... and considering that Payash and Daljeet apparently want to leave, and SP really want the show to go on - they can do -

      - a leap with Sanaya playing Arshi's daughter and a brand new story. Daljeet might refuse to age, Payash anyway want to leave. Nani and Mami won't have problems with a leap and the age factor.

      I like the actor Viraf - have seen him in Kismet, but from what I remember, he's not a great actor, merely good. Extremely good-looking, though. But then Barun was not a great actor before IPK happened, and I find him very mediocre these days - he's just not putting in the effort, it seems. Has he also lost interest completely? And now he is with SP, he's more secure too, they will bring him back in a new show and he also knows it.

      Whatever - Khushi with a new guy will NOT work - Khushi's daughter with a new guy just might. But either way, seems like the IPKKND we all fell in love with, is almost over :(((

      I agree Dia, I also think that Gul is a one hell of a vengeful lady/team. They yield but make sure that the actor pays the price. Although I sort of enjoyed what DB got in return for her demands (*evil grin*). She lost a great deal of fan base and respect when she went from sweet loving di to the crying Anjali. It was just unbearable. Also I feel BS made some demands pay hike etc, and the team already yielded for his movie. And now Gul is making sure that BS's popularity is hurt and his BW aspirations tank. I can already see posts on IF boycotting his movie.
      I dont think that BS is with SP, I guess SP made a deal that you do Diwali show in return of us taking you to UK. But may be I am wrong. But the way BS is doing Diwali show, it doesnt look he is putting an effort.
      I for one who is just tired of BS quitting/non quitting and want him to quit. I am looking forward to the new guy. He looks good, and I know SI can make any one look good opposite her. BS is v v average for me, and I like him only with SI. Anywhere else he barely gets noticed.
      I dont want to sound sadist here, but I didnt like BS accepting movie in the middle of the show. A show which gave him so much. And I think he wanted to keep cashing on other avenues while still being on the show. He is smart,he wants everything to going for him. But Gul madam is super smart, she knows when and where to hit.

      In all, I feel SI plays the smartest after her stint in BW. She knows its a dirty game, just stick to the best you have and the rest shall follow. So she sticks with SP, does all the SP non-sense appearances and doesnt loose her respect and fans.

      sukhi, IMO, barun sobti is a normal guy with acting aspirations, not a born showman. hence his total jitters in the SP diwali function.. Like rekha commented above, he just is not a stage actor.

      Dia had explained that now that he became an SP contracted actor, he HAS to attend all SP programs they call him for. and the england trip was planned before the SP contract, i think. your view says that SP contract may not have happened.

      about tv actors accepting movie roles.. why not? if the CT grant him leave, what is wrong in spending 45 days for something that MIGHT give him better exposure and of course better money?

      BS being BS is not impressive, i have always agreed.. but him being ASR was something worth seeing. and i have to thank Gul & co for that, whatever they did to the show afterwards.

    Loved the episode. Always appreciate a bit of romance between Arnav and Khushi.
    I still,don't think that Arav is Arnav's son. Arnav has always been very confident on thiis point. We have been led to believe that Arnav has been angry young man for ever, so I don't think that,he,would ever have put himself in a position that he is not in control of. Sheetal is playing with Khushi 's emotions and mind and is waiting for her to back out, but Sheetal doesn't know what these two have been through just to get here. I hope ASR comes back and confronts Sheetal and gets to the bottom of who,is really the father, and also possibly who is the mother.
    I feel bad about the offscreen drama, but if Barun wants to go, sad though it will be, it is better than a disinterested actor. I hope that maybe one day because of the great chemistry they have then maybe they can bring them back together in a new story. That I would like to see. Sanaya is a great professional, she has such talent, and I think that she is a,better actor than Barun (only my personnel opinion). I think without Sanaya, Barun would not have had the acclaim that he is having now. She carried the show through the kidnapping track so well, her talent is endless. I only hope that he realises that when he leaves and is partnered with someone who has no talent like The actress playing Sheetal.
    I will just carry on watching until the end and keep coming to this blog to read everyone's comments and occasionally add my own thoughts, I hope,that,something,else comes along so that I can continue coming here and be part of this fantastic cafe, that brings us all,together from all different walks of life and parts of the world to share our lives with people that we may probably never meet.     i can surely say that the story writing team was dismantled (maybe someone crucial walked out) after the forced wedding.. because that was not part of the original story..and the drama started to fizzle because from then on....the tight execution, the intensity, was not there, except for rare far apart instances.

    Kudos to the team for bringing the story till the proper wedding.. completing 350 episodes, instead of 500 .. i think the story would have been initally drafted for a wedding in the 500th episode.. with a lot of angst and BFTPs in between.. but the overwhelming fanmail (remember fans spamming SP inboxes, 4L inboxes, LM inbox, Fb, and anyone whose ID was public) forced them to revert the story to happy times, because the fans demanded it!

    iss pyar ko kya nam doon was NEVER about pyar.

    going by the initial storyline, i can see that it was all about intensity. that no-name rishta between two hearts, calling it pyar would be cheapening it. gosh i can see ASR and khushi and their eyelock in the bandagement scene.. close my eyes and see his heated gaze in diwali.. and his anger and denial later at her house. that intensity, i have never seen in a TV serial.. brought out with perfect acting.

    now if the fans demand pyar and all the cliches associated with that, and SP demands to feed the fans the fodder they are craving, what can the PH do with its initial story? heartbreak for the CT (yes, i believe kernal's post, even though nishi said dont believe it) and money for SP. if actors want to quit after seeing this, i cannot say they are wrong.

    sheetal positive or negative, BS leaving or not leaving - whatever just let it out in the open...dnt play hide and seek...all this off screen drama is too much to bear...whatever is going on with PH/SP/BS - why are we - the viewers - made to suffer - bcoz we loved their show...did in depth analysis of each and every look by the actors, evry emotion of the character...itna to shayad khud creators/actors/writers bhi nahi sochte honge for the scenes...so why are they messing up our minds..

      Everything fits in perfectly.
      Sheetal is scared of losing Aarav- she is not the real mother. I don't think she wants to hand over the kid to Raizadas just like that when she has no role there. She might have thought Dhruv will accept the kid, which he refuses to. Her motive is not clear, I hope the CVs have a clear motive. But I also suspect there will be a lot of WTs from me on Sheetal's story, unless she is being blackmailed into doing all this.

      Aarav- knows Sheetal as his mom. That best friends' thing -he shares it with his maasi and chaachu. Like I wrote in my post above, he will be the guy who wins the game for ASR. He will surprise Sheetal and the Raizadas with his attitude- he can take a lot, like ASR said to Khushi.

      Give me a break. At least look at this fantastic child actor and tell me they are killing the baby!

      Or may be Sheetal's motive is: She wants to prove Arnav is the father , so that Khushi will love the child as Arnav's child and not Dhruv's child.
      Loopholes:

      1.ASR can always order a paternity test which can conclusively prove or disprove paternity. (My maid was ordered by court to do this when her children were disowned by her husband. There is only one specialised lab that does it in the whole state. Any way, she got it done, proved to the jerk the kids are his, and now, believe it or not, the creep wants to get back with her. She is not a fool, she says she will kill him if he gets near within two feet of her.)
      So if he orders a paternity test, the whole story falls apart. May be, only DNA test exists in IPK- Narnia. They are yet to invent a paternity test there!

      2. Sheetal is deliberately creating a wedge between the couple, so when the truth comes out actually, Aarav will be seen as the kid who got ARhi separated, rather than be loved as the grandson. Is that a loophole or a motive?
      Will they end up saying, "take the kid and walk away"?
      Or she feels Arnav will not forgive K for doubting him, but won't he hate Sheetal for planting that doubt! Total jalebi, people!

      su, the DNA test they are performing is indeed the paternity test.. kuch toh samjho yaar! yes, khushi got it done overnight via the same place where anjali got khuhsi's UK visa( to join her husband during a business trip). (have you forgotten the voice activated pendrive?)

      and i can agree that shital wants the test to be positive, so engineered the second report.. she was relieved that K tore the first one.

      shital is asking khushi to keep it away from arnav because she knows that KKG thinks with her heart.. ASR thinks with his dimaag. once he gets the news, shital's flimsy story wont stand.. and that is what i am expecting in the next 2 episodes. now if the child is shital's or her sisters, remains to be seen.. but it is very clear that he is not ASR's.

      The report clearly said there is 'gehra rishta' between Arnav and Aarav. It never said that Arnav is the father.

      It was Khushi who made that connection of gehra rishta and said "Arnavji Aarav ke pitaa hai".

    I'm really sorry for the long absence...So some quick clarifications...

    1. I'm unable to comment on the blog from my laptop and cell phone-dunno if its an apple thing though I don't see how?...perhaps the new OS - dunno but currently using a friends dell to post.

    2. I've literally been swamped with work and application work has also begun so I've been running around like a headless chicken:-(...

    3. Haven't been watching IPK except for the last 5 mins of yesterday's episode. I hate this track and to be honest I've been prejudiced from the start since I heard the news from them.

    4. I PROMISE I DONT WORK FOR THAT PH- Sandy can corroborate:-)....I don't know whats happening with internal SP and PH but I do know(again with absolute certainity) that SP loves BS more than IPK- and frankly I get it-their audience is primarily women so a good looking well established male lead is a HOT commodity.

    5. No clue whether Sheetal is grey or black but- she was brought in as an exit strategy for BS - dynamics may or may not have changed now I really don't know... Though personally I think there's still a great deal of unexplored tracks and they should use them and continue IPK...I say it again if they used their supporting cast and ended tracks better they'd easily hit 500 ep marl. Lets see....

    6. On totally unrelated note...is anyone watching the Diwali episodes on SP? what did you guys think?

    7. All the mum's and doctor's....I've had a horrible dry cough for over a month now and i've tried every med prescribed and mums nuska's...Anyone have a solution...please please help....my diaphragm feels sore:-(

    8. I really just wanna enjoy half an hour of tv again so have sworn i will not ask anyone about future tracks...I just think its better not knowing- both ways... a good track will be ruined by the lack of surprise element and a bad track- i'll just stop watching!!!....BUT having said that- tomorrow I will prob see BS and could PERHAPS ask him...do you'll want me to? and what?       Lemon and honey?
      Squeeze half a lemon, mix with 2 tbsp of honey daily.

      Also when you get that itch to cough, try swallowing a litle bit of honey (I recommend Dabur), it coats the throat and relieves the sore throat for some time. If you can, hold it in your throat and swallow as slowly as you can.

      On diwali epis: I am not much of a star parivaar person, but I don't mind it. To me the audience's reactions look a little artificial, but I don't mind it.
      Sanaya- looked beautiful, but classical is not her thing!

      BS: Is not acting like ASR or Arnav, he talks like BS and is perfectly cute doing it. I love him any ways, even if he leaves the show. SP, hang on to this fellow.

      OTW, the diwali episodes are OK. It is a good idea.

      If you are meeting BS, can you give him a smile from all of us? (A hug would be too much?)And give him all our best wishes, please.

      watching the diwali specials..they are ok..SI looks beautiful..BS..is ok..his discomfort is obvious...he is cute though!!

      If you are meeting him..could you ask him to just give one statement and put an end to all this bakwas? all of us can move on then!!

      I cant believe i am feeling sorry for all the girls at IF especially after reading someone's post that said why is everyone freaking out when the actors are inside enjoying the chaos!!

      two, health.. dry chronic cough.. strepsils will help, so will honey and lemon.( but if you are allergic to honey like me, it might backfire).. a few days of steroids will cure it.. waiting for Dia's opinion.

      three. good luck with work.. applications can be a LOT of work.. so here's sending some faerie help your way.

      four. i cannot make time to watch the diwali episodes, but deffo watched the lakshmi one.. BS was adorkable.. SI was picture perfect, but very nervous on stage in the devi costume.

      five.. IMO, dont ask him.. say something along the lines of " you know we are all eager for news, but i wont ask you" he will be relieved , if he is indeed on a gag order.

      sweetie, take care of ur health!! Ginger grated and boiled and when luke warm add a touch of honey...and drink it

      I don't know if u get this in the area u live in but "sitophaladi" mixed with honey is a gud cure and make gargling a part of ur daily routine...it really helps...my kid was prone to sore throat when younger and i used to get this powder from a friend whose father is an ayurvedic doctor..ofc u also get the market version which is from Dabur and another one maybe from Baidyanath by the same name..It will help surely. once spoon of it thrice a day for 3-4 days

      In fact, was thinking abt u and specially what J had said the other day!!appreciate that u let us all be prepared in a way!!

      well, If u happen to meet BS, just tell him there is nothing more important than peace of mind, if thats there, everything else will fall in place. he seems to be God's chosen one...so destiny will follow him and keep him in HIS care!! The goodwill of so many will never go waste!!

      Parivaar stuff is a draw i guess for audiences who like to see their fav actors in a diff avatar...and don't mind the contrived bit...I wuld much rather watch San and BS goof around off-screen like the hair pulling thing..nothing contrived and was damn funny...

      I somehow can imagine the guy in the blue kurta (forget his name) sitting down and making those wierd actions but boy, was i glad, they did not make BS do that!!

      He is just better off in a suit and even mumbling dialogues....i am also glad i did not watch the shot of him being lifted by that joker (who is immensely talented tho)...can't bear to see such things....in fact the one put off for me in see men in drag and not lookin gud...i can see men in drag and looking gud...so for me the point is...if u are going to look silly, why bother?

      First things first ... if you've had a cough for over a month, go see a doctor. Check for allergies or asthma, commonest causes of dry prolonged cough. You can try haldi in warm milk, or honey, ginger and lemon in hot water, they help, but one month is too long - get medical advice.
      Don't take steroids on your own - they have to be prescribed by a doc.

      Ab aage ... just read the latest TB article confirming that Barun is going on an indefinite break - "and it won't be short."

      Yaar, I don't believe this guy, is he serious about his career and his life or not? Or, more importantly, is he sick? He's looking thinner and thinner on the show and is so badly groomed that it's not funny any more!

      My reading ... from tidbits off IF and some chats with the girls on fb ... we have a closed group ...
      News was that GUL wanted to shut down the show, hence devised this crappy storyline, which Gargs told us a month ago. BS was horrified, wanted out ... Sanaya was pretty pissed off as well.

      SP wants the show to stay on air with BS and SI. SI has no choice, she is contracted to SP, she can't go anywhere ... and to be fair, she doesn't even try. She's level-headed in the extreme - this is her field and she'll stick with it.

      BS wants 2 weeks for his movie promotion ... why now, why not in Feb, I don't know. He also wants 1 week for personal time.

      PH had to change the storyline for BS's leave, not the other way around - this is from that Nishi girl. So have to agree, they have some right to be pissed with BS - kidnapping track worked in for his movie, going away with Sheetal worked in for his movie promotion ...

      Why ASR-Sheetal track, you may ask - why not just Arnav going on a long business trip?

      Priya (Crooner) also said IPK sponsorships are sold out till Dec and they are trying to take over the legal rights of the show from PH.

      Here is my reading ...
      SP doesn't want to shut down the show, not for the next 2-3 months at least. Legally also they can't.
      2-3 months takes us to Feb, when BS's movie releases.

      If movie is a hit, and BS gets more BW offers, he will want to leave the show then. He's always made it clear he prefers BW - less hours, more money. So Feb is a deadline of sorts for BS to stay in the show.

      So what does SP do in the meantime?
      They set up the storyline in such a way that a new guy enters ... this new guy may be negative, as reports state ... the mysterious Arav's father .. and Khushi spends the next three months taking him down. While if BS is going to return, he does some jasoosi while he is with Sheetal and also figures out the same thing. However I wouldn't hold my breath on that - Arnav did zilch while he was kidnapped, so I doubt he will do anything now. And this time it's a clear break, so he will not be there at all.

      So Sanaya has to run the show again on her own ... pretty unfair on her. As it is, she gets maximum screen time compared to anyone else. If anyone needs a break, she does.

      What I would do is make Khushi strengthen during this time, into Mrs ASR ... take over AR, or at least start her KKGSR CS and become a businesswoman ... the new guy enters and falls for her, she is pining for Arnav and doesn't give him the time of day. However he slowly starts drawing out the smiles she has buried inside her at Arnav's exit. A repeat of the ASR to Arnav track ... this time KKGSR to Khushi

      Depending on BS's future plans, new guy turns grey and Arnav comes back in time to rescue his wife ... or if BS's movie is a hit and he leaves for good, then Arnav dies, and Khushi starts a new life ... so we get a brand new love story with Khushi and new guy ... new guy drawing Khushi out of her grief.

      So over the next three months either
      a) BS's movie clicks and/or b) new jodi clicks ... BS leaves for good and new love story starts - IPK season 2 ...

      OR
      c)BS's movie flops and/or new jodi flops ... BS returns and completion of Arhi story.

      If movie clicks and new jodi flops, then show will end.
      If movie flops and new jodi clicks, then BS's TV career ends. Or he gets a new show ... maybe.

      If you meet BS, what I want to know is only about Sanaya ... is she happy or is she equally pissed with Gul as he is?

      reading ur point carefully, u defi seem to understand how this bus works..and all ur points seem perfectly logical to me..
      NOw just to add or rather point out one thing that struck me

      When the leave part was sanctioned, the story took a hit but it was still seamless largely

      I am presuming that the PH would have ideally liked to end BS's contract then but for the uproar in IF etc.....so my sense is they were lookin for a way out since then and BS's unavailability coupled with his constant complaints of working schedules, or should i say being almost an unwilling player in this fame bus etc made him a perfect candidate for dumping this mess..a scapegoat, if u will

      so when it came to contract revision, they would have not agreed to his terms causing him to put the papers (the zee_news was that only) before SP got into the act and decided that it is gud to have him on their payroll...

      This must have caused an upsettin in the PH plans of endin the serial thru the zee_news mess and subsequent Mishti spoiler of "if bs quits, we will end serial" was to add fuel to fire

      Then came about the tussle between PH and Ch...one wantin to get out and one stayin on...so PH chooses a track to ease out ASR if u remember the words used by u-know-who..it was a creative decsiion to work an exit for ASR by NOV...(not BS, please note)..This means the ending precipitating decision to quit/break by BS has come about becos this creative decision..

      So as I see it, if CH can prevail upon PH to change track, BS will still stay....

      It is clearly in CH court now....and so it will be. I doubt BS will go anywhere now...Its is a posturing...from all parties concerned...the cards are not on the table for us to see...

      Rekha, I agree with that reading ... also, sources on FB are very clear that this is all Gul's doing to sabotage the show because she's concentrating on QH. Now that doesn't ring 100% true to me ... QH is a new show, she would wait for a bit to see the response before burning her bridges on SP, also since 4lions has another show on SP ...

      So while I'm ready to agree that Gul has lost interest in IPK to quite an extent, I also feel that BS's upcoming movie has kind of worsened that lack of interest ... face it, when you have a love story on air, and you're not sure about the hero's long term availability, or he takes leave of absence every few months, it does get difficult to plan your storyline. So PH is hedging their bets ... first time around, Sanaya managed alone, this time, they are not taking chances, they're getting in a new guy.

      If BS's movie clicks, and he decides to leave - and face it, with all this tamasha by the PH branding him as the culprit, he just might ... then they have a back up in place already, plus they have had 3 months to check the feedback. And out of sight is out of mind ... BS stays out a month or two and we have a good looking guy in his place, will the craze for him die down?

      I think PH is banking on this ... hence they are happily using him as the scapegoat here, poor guy!

      But channel loves Barun from all reports ... and channel is all powerful ... so channel could step in and force PH to change tracks and persuade BS to stay on. He would still take his 2 weeks leave to promote his movie though ...

      With QH, KSG has already burnt his fingers with bad behaviour and BW dreams which failed. Now that he has gotten a second chance he will behave himself for some time at least ... so Gul gets three months to play with her new baby and see whether that is going to become as big as IPK ... if not, she will also quietly crawl back to SP and IPK :)

      The only person who loses out in all this is Barun ... and the viewers who invested so much time and love in IPK :(

      I feel:
      ASR, not Arnav, will go on a business trip...his idea of perfect love shattered by her lack of trust...the feeling that stays on even as we are far apart...yes, it seems to be written.
      I hated Nishi's post for one thing. She confirmed it is a bigger mayhem offscreen than what we imagine! I hope she is talking about Payash and not Barun. Chalo, no point worrying about something no one is sure of.

      Deal with it as and when it comes.

      I feel they were saving the best fot the last. Payal should get to know that the hate marriage was for her happiness alone...if Khushi approached Payal, wouldn't she tell Akash?
      Then Shaym would e openly exposed, they wanted to let him go so that she can return. When slapgate 1 happened- ASR slap Shyam- Anjali was left unconvinced of her husband's betrayal- so was Akash and mami to an extent. Also they wanted K to be MU-ed a bit more by Akash keeping in mind the separation that comes with BFTP- the re marriage was not meant to happen. Buring that separtaion I feel the truth about the marriage was supposed to come out to every one...

      When things are not in their control, I can only sympathise with the creative team retrospectively. So many beautiful loops had to thrown away to acommodate that re marriage...it got them the trps any way, that is what matters, right?

      May be they will still try to weave in those loop closures once all the off screen drama settles.
      HOpe things work out in their and our favour.

      I can also give out gyan of this kind..(destiny, i told u so, don't panic) if i am privy to info...very easy to do that...

      Lets not forget before berating the IF/fans for its state of frenzy....if IF is responsible for killing the show, its the same IF which is also in gud measure responsible for the buzz that IPK has received...why wasn't this gyan given by the PH when the fans were drooling? they lapped it all up then and started with the "dekhna han to dekho" when the first of the real brickbats started to be lobbed at them....

      I was also thinking how frustrating it must be for the actors..esp BS & SI.. as everyone wants to know everything, no privacy, people make up their own stories..SI could have handled the whole thing much better anyway.

      With BS..he does seem the kind who did not ask for this kind of attention and fame and i wonder if it is all becoming too much for him..or maybe i am just over-analysing the whole thing!!

    Hiya everybody..
    I was kinda hoping that the news is not true... ut then considering how fast the story is progressing in the last few days is making me wonder - I think they should end the story on a happy note with BS and SI.... dont know how long BS is going to be away and whether viewers would watch the show without their really amazing and passionate love story..

    so according to starplus wordpress blog, sheetal is not aarav's mom but maasi and dhruv (manorama's son) cheat sheetal's sister and she is here for justice ans that dhruv guy is a bad guy.. with arnav leaving show rumors.. and this new story.. what is the importance of kushi and arnav love story.. i am kind of confused!
