And Khushi is very, very disturbed and upset ... so much so that she refuses to go out for dinner with Arnav ... much to his annoyance. She manages to cajole him out of his annoyance with a touch of her usual craziness ... and he gifts her a company ... she can start her catering service whenever she likes ... wherever she likes ... because she should be independent financially ...
She doesn't like the idea ... she, who always wanted to be independent ... who always said, "I'll manage ..." ... she who didn't even let him pay her Buaji's rent ... today his words about being financially independent strike a feeling of dread in her heart ...

these little touches make all the difference ...

A very lame excuse about a call from an old college friend ... ok, go ahead, I'll just join you ...
And as Arnav and Khushi move ahead, Khushi makes an excuse to stay back .. to watch with disbelief and dawning shock as Sheetal quickly, furtively takes Khushi's glass from Khushi's thaali under the table and drinks from it ... and then replaces it.
Which means, she realises, that Sheetal kept the vrat ... that too, for Arnav ...
Back to the dining room, Arnav takes Khushi away from the dining table ... Sheetal watching with a not very pleased look on her face ... (can the woman emote please? She just looks blank most of the time!) And Khushi is already worrying about talking to Sheetal ...
Arnav wants to take Khushi out for a special dinner ... her favorite food, champagne, the works ... but Khushi refuses ... she's too troubled and worried ...
Khushi, sweetheart, just go ... it might be the last alone time you get with Arnav before all hell breaks loose!

ReplyDeleteI know it makes me happy about one thing...Dia knows that...I never wanted it to be negative and a mountain about a molehill irrespective of Khushi's underhand tactics...I know Khushi has not done herself a favour here by not confiding her fears to Arnav but tat is exactly the thing she has been short on...(her ability to trust her own happiness) so I am hoping this story will soon move to Arnav's perspective and/or move to a track where Khushi will have learn to have atoot vishwaas...Arnav in the Box and only K trusts him...his peetal bartan and she gets him out....Possibilities are immense, i just hope they do this...now on to PH and BS to manage the rest!!
i feel that dhruv n arnav also have some blood relations so maybe aarav n arnav are a match because of that?

If this is final thing about arnav actually truly being Aarav's father...there is not much that the story can do from here...Khushi being Khushi will be forced to don the mahaanta mantle...so ARHI is then over...and that is not somethin the fans will ever accept..so i am hoping there is a twist in the tale
btw, i just saw the episode....the chess game is a gud scene..i could not follow anything tat Barun said there...poor voice quality on the online epi...can anyone tell me what was Arnav saying about Aarav's move when the rpeort was flashed?

DeleteRekha, me too feel the same way ... expected this. Now the possibility of Sheetal having tampered with the report is pretty high to me, as we don't have any credible reports of any other man on the horizon.
And Sheetal is coming across more and more dark grey ... if she had used her own glass to break her fast, it would still seem that she just wanted Arnav back or was holding on to an old flame ... but using Khushi's glass ... to me, indicates she is out for some serious mischief.
According to spoilers, Khushi doesn't keep it from Arnav for too long ... this week itself will be the big dhamaka.
yeah and why couldn't she have used a photo of arnav like mami did? assuming that's what she's been doing all these years...the whole call-out-arnav-and-using-khushi's-glass seemed intended..

I feel Sheetal wil keep mum about the DNA report. She will maintain silence or let out a namesake protest and let K interpret it whichever way she wants.
I think Sheeal is selfish to the core. She has seen K helping Aarav out. In spite of that she kept a fast for K's husband.
Black Sheetal will let K take F/U it up on her own...let things take their natural course...let Arhi fight, let Khushi leave on a MU...then she can have ASR.
Grey Sheetal will walk out with dignity. She knows she has clearly come in between Arhi. OR like Sandy says, may be Sheetal is only taking care of the child and thinks ASR is the father.

Jaya, Actually a friend of mine pointed me to the first episode and its been a non stop marathon. Haven't slept over 3 hours for weeks now. ;) Obviously am at a stage where I have OD'd on the serial and am having severe addiction symptoms. :)

Sheetals grey side was more obvious in todays episode....shes playing with k wonderfuly....poor k, my baby grl i feel so sad for her....but im loving the track now.yes . I loved the dna result being positive

Managed to catch the ME. Didn’t get the time to really savour it.
Loved reading all the 360 degrees. Didn’t see this mentioned. That lift during the dance reminded ne of the lift during ‘dili main baali’ dance, which was again during the heights of hatred.
And that song by the poolside: Wonderful! Couldn’t hel;p smiling to myself by the end of the epi. Bitwa finds 1001 ways to romance biwi, and bitiya is stuck with that book on 101 ways to ruin romantic moments! I am simply amazed at the portrayal of that song, bitwa was all passion and bitiya was all playfulness! My, my, what a couple!
What is this track about?
For now, I am seeing Arnav as the most sensible character. And K is totally sanak… but she is clear about one thing, she will not tolerate ‘dusht aurat’.So I hope the track is about ‘sense’ teaching ‘nonsense’ an important lesson. ASR teaching K an all important lesson, “Khushi, you CANNOT SHARE me with anyone, even if it is with a child you think is mine.”
Before that he will realize why Khushi did what she did. He already knows how huge her heart is, but he would be amazed that she can so easily accept a kid of his, without throwing any tantrums- after shouting at her probably, initially. Following that, I hope he will also go about teaching her that crucial lesson, not just about trust, but also possessiveness.
Hmmmm….
So,
1. ASR realizes K is great beyond his imagination and appreciates it.
2. May be that will make him reflect on the various times she has sacrificed herself for him, plenty of fbs...
3. He might show attachment to Aarav, to make K realize that she should never have thought about sharing him…
4. ASR appreciates all her efforts to make his world perfect and Khushi apologises for doubting him.
OR
1. ASR blasts Khushi for MISLEADING Aarav into believing he is his dad…
2. K leaves momentarily in guilt/ anger…
3. ASR retrospection- fbs from premarriage and hate marriage , regret.
4. K realizes she was wrong to not believe him…

is hiding Aarav’s parentage from Raizadas because she is afraid once that is revealed, Aarav will be taken away from her. Probably she has no claim to the child other than that of a caretaker or an aunt. Legally, she will be expected to hand over the child to the living parent, and that she wants to avoid at all cost. That she still has feelings for Arnav, may be just an unrelated thing, as in not a motive or anything.
I realy liked how the DNA report came through to confirm K’s suspicions.
When I read the spoiler I thought K will base her belief just on Shetal keeping fast for Arnav, thank god she has a good solid reason for her belief now. Really, thank you CVs.
That she interpreted the test wrong can be forgiven totally.

Here K has seen something (DNA report, resemblances, Sheetal keeping KC for Aarav's father- turned out to be ASR) and heard something (constant reminders from the family)...Is she not justified in wanting to believe her eyes and ears?
The difference here is that Khushi will not react in the same way ASR reacted. She will want to welcome Aarav into Arhi's space. I really hope ASR teaches her to be SELFISH about him.
su, today's retelecast showed khushi saying "arnavji aarav ke.. pitaa hain!" while looking at the DNA result.. so they have clarified that bit.

now it maybe that shital is playing on khushi's insecurities, but right now, khushi is fully valid in believe the evidence stacked up for her to see.

I am not saying that at all.
Khushi is justified in believing Arnav is the father, she has not gone into the detalis of the report.That is the beauty of bringing in the DNA report- she is totally justified.
The report just says, 'bond positive' or something like that, which means they share a set of genes. If there is a Dhruv, Aakash will be a stronger match than Arnav.
Now how will Khushi react?
Will she tell Arnav that she is basing the 'truth' on the DNA report, since she already tore it up in front of him?
OR
Will she just tell him to bond more with Aarav, and BE a father to him? MOst likely, she will tell him the entire truth, that is,if they stick to her character
And how will K respond to her hubby's child? Won't she welcome that child and want him to bond with HIS father? Isn't that what the spoiler intended to say? K tells Arnav to accept his child and he denies or something like that? Well, with the DNA report in one hand and Arnav denying it all, will Khushi call him a liar? This should be interesting to watch.
I agree with you, she will never go the dumb Anjali way. I don't want her to. This is not about atoot vishwaas yet, maybe she will learn that at the end of the track.
What would a sensible K do?
Call Arnav and Sheetal together, put the report in front of them and demand an explanation. Simple. But if that happened, where would the angst be?
NOw since Sheetal will most likely not clarify things, K will just put all her evidence together and conclude that ASR is the dad. She will not remember that he said conclusively that he cannot be the father, he never had that kind of a thing with Sheetal.
This is where the similarity with the terrace MU lies for me. Arnav should have called Shyam and Khushi together and demanded an explanation, which he did not(thank god!). It is all about communication, na.

DeleteAgree with you and with Jaya ... I don't fault Khushi for investigating ... it was not one single scene she based her doubts on, it was a whole continuum, and the DNA report is actual proof ...
There are two issues here actually ... one is Arav being Arnav's son. Which Khushi might eventually accept ... after some trouble ... he happened before her time, she knew she was not the first girl in Arnav's life, she knews his views on living in, and by extension casual sex ... it will be difficult, but eventually she would accept Arav, for the child's sake.
The second issue is Sheetal ... although Khushi is insecure, worried, and very disturbed about Sheetal being Arav's mom, what disturbs her more is Sheetal keeping fast for Arnav, staring at his pics, not being over him ... that's the part which worries me. Will she keep her word of nochoing the chudail's hair out? Accepting Arnav's love for herself as bigger than his relationship with his son's mother?
Or will she be mahaan and sacrificing, and want to give Arav not only a father but a complete family, with his real father AND mother? Now that one, Arnav will absolutely not allow ... so it depends on how Sheetal plays her games ...
Either way, I somehow can't see the MU lasting for too long ... not if it has to make any sense. The aftershocks can go on for some time ...
The Shyam MU lasted for 4 months without making any sense, because Arnav didn't do any investigation to find out any proof of Shyam or Khushi. Here IF - a big IF - Khushi opens up to Arnav completely, about why she went this way, then it should not last too long. And then, they need to investigate why Sheetal dropped all the hints she did ...

actually, arnav trusted his KJ.. sham was the one arnav trusted till that day, the one who influenced him to flex his rigid decisions that even di could not bend.. the one who talked to arnav, explained the emotional matters in practical terms for his EQ negative saala..

NK was eating too, but he was eating dessert. khushi seems to be eating the main course.. so arnav did not eat?
and there, someone asks about shital and they say she might be in her room.. so did shital send aarav to break up arnav-khushi in their bedroom? if shital was in the room, did she not see that aarav was not sleeping? //if she was the actual mom, she would have come to check on him :D//

(btw I thot DNA reports only confirm that a person can be your father / mother not that he or she is. I mean a negative report concludes that he or she is definitely not related to you so a positive report is good after all hum khushi main bhi aapke saath hain, dukh main bhi aapke saath hain hum humeshaa saath saath hain. Btw could Aarav be NK's child with someone (not Sheetal) back in Australia. Pranav / Arnav / Nannav (Brahma / Vishnu (ocean) / Shiva (raakshas laad governor))NK is Aakash's cousin bhai & in the intro Anjali mentioned Arnav not being very fond of him. Is it a case of Salaam Namaste or Paa with NK?
I mean NK seems to have a thing for Sheetal but he is not making any special effort to befriend Aarav (Junior) which would be a sure shot way of making inroads with his mum isn't it? Besides the NK - Aarav interactions have been to a minimum from the start - is it a case of what we are not seeing that we should think about? (Mami spoke of babies getting exchanged leading to NK mentioning DNA test. Yday NK asked for a glass of water & Khushi got the report in the privacy of the kitchen. Glass of clear water - clarity or the real truth?). NK wanted Aarav to move the knight (horse).
Castling - a move when 2 pieces move together on the chessboard. Almost a swap wherein the king moves to the corner towards the rook & the rook moves over to occupy the space left vacant by the king. Usually this move is used to "protect" the king.
Arnav used his black rook to counter the threat from Aarav's white queen. What Aarav did was castle his king & rook to deliver the checkmate.

Plus there is that small karma about babuji losing his sweet shop because of loan & Payal's broken wedding.

Either Arnav suffers an actual financial loss or for some reasons, there is a demand for a split in property & Arnav chooses to relinquish it all & walk away (Hmm will Mami do it I wonder in Akash's name & will Akash only agree to be a guardian till bhai returns but leaves RM & goes to stay with his father thanks to his mother's deeds?) Or does Mami pretend given that she told Khushi that nothing mattered to her more than Arnav's happiness?

DeleteRecall Bharat loved Kaushalya as much as his mother Kaikeyi & when Kaikeyi's truth in banishing his brother came to fore, Bharat sacrificed the very thing that Kaikeyi had won for him. Kaikeyi had leveraged boons she had from Dasharatha when she saved his life on the battlefield (on the pool Arnav telling Sheetal before the bubblegum scene, if you need anything just let me know).
Will Akash become the Bharat? And Shantivan the Ayodhya? Payal the sita who chose thorns of the forest?
Chances are Sheetal has begun to hanker for Arnav in this trip because of his wealth & prosperity. Him being an ex-flame is incidental. (will not be surprised if she had broken up with him earlier for someone richer only to meet with deceit). Her ace unexpectedly becomes the child Aarav - that Khushi now confronts Sheetal as being Arnav's. It is not his & Sheetal knows it but it is now going to be her meal ticket. But here she will need Aarav & Arnav to fall in with her plans. Arnav is already besotted & Aarav has seen that Khushi never lies whereas his mum Sheetal has a track record of lying. He thinks she is sweet, pagal, filmy & talks a lot but he has been getting far more polite & his usual childlike self with her. Eventually will it be to upkeep Khushi's word to Aarav that Arnav is his dad that Arnav will agree to let the boy call him that provided he will call Khushi amma? Always a deal with ASR :)
Krishna was Devaki & Vasudev's son but circumstances made him bond more with Nanda & Yashoda. Some of the puranas say Vasudev & Nanda were brothers.
Also, Tulsi Vivah (around Diwali) signifies the end of monsoon & the start of the auspicious period good for weddings / new beginnings (The much awaited SR or honeymoon?) Well we at R&R always believed that GH vaastu was better for ArHi romance ;)
Tulsi also reminds one of the Rukmini - Satyabhama tulaabhaaram. Narada (Mami?) incited Satyabhama that Krishna loved Rukmini more & shared a deeper bond with her of all his wives so he challenged her to give him Krishna in charity & win him back for riches equal to his weight in gold. Krishna knew the ploy but played along. Satyabhama lost despite asking all the other wives to give her their jewels. Finally she had to kill her ego & approach Rukmini who then placed a single tulsi leaf which alone balanced the tula. Heatfelt love & devotion for her husband. For Krishna, if Radha is his eternal lover, Rukmini is THE wife.
Besdies some say Satyabhama was an incarnation of Bhoomi Devi explicitly born to help kill Narakasura & end his atrocities. The act that tipped Krishna into action was Naraka stealing Aditi's earrings. Aditi was the mother of the devas.
Oh one last,
DeleteI get a feeling Sheetal could perhaps go on a short business visit leaving Aarav back at RM. She will let Khushi fight it out with Arnav and having seen his anger assume that they will have a fallout by the time she returns in time to takeover everything.
That way she will delay her confrontation with Arnav and keep Khushi in the lurch.
Ok Snekaing one more ramble:
DeleteIf DSR is indeed in the picture, he wants Sheetal to win him the riches of ASR, else he will not grant her divorce though he was the one who desrted her and did not want the child. (chalo maana Sheetal is Aarav's mum and DSR's wife and she has now tampered with the report). If not DSR threatens that he will win his custody battle and she will loose Aarav. DSR is unhappy for he has been sidelined for Arnav (Mami is his step-mom and packed him off by poisoning his mind when she got married but later accepted Arnav)
Sheetal would have had an easy time but here she finds a doting wife, Arnav in love and she needs to break all that else she cannot fulfill her sister's last wish to see her son hold his father's name perhaps?
Now what happens when Aarav is proven as ASR's son, he will be the benefitor of the wealth as the child. Either now or with Sheetal as guarantor till Aarav becomes an adult. The job application, the return to Delhi all was done knowingly by Dhruv with Sheetal perhaps not privy to all the facts.
Now she will let Khushi fight her battle for Khushi is the only one whom Arnav listens to so any strain in that bond can come only from that quarter. She may even flee RM to prevent a confrontation with Arnav post her faceoff with Khushi on the pretext of emergency or work leaving Aarav behind. But little Aarav is going to be the one going around creating chances for sulking Khushi and Arnav to better understand each other and make them see the others goodness when each is clouded by thier own anger or misery.
So don't banish Aarav yet.
Besides from hereon till after Diwali it will be be about proving the ehmiyat that Khushi has always had in ASR's life - even to Khushi herself.
SN: ya ya this is me trying to hope that eventually sheetal will be painted grey and not black as from KC fast and hoping for a NK Sheetal jodi after NK's kadvaa chaat. Eventually NK Sheetal and Aarav leave for Australia to start afresh.

knowing exactly how arnav and khushi would react.. thereby driving a wedge in arhi, hoping to never let them live in peace... and if (pretty big if) they get convinced of the paternity, can get right to ASR's riches.

Aarav - hmm for a second I wondered if he is NK's love child above and then felt ki chalo if kadva chaat between NK and Sheetal happened then he will eventually become NK's child.
Sheetal is being blackmailed using Aarav as collateral. She needs legitimacy for Aarav but will get it only if she gets her hands on ASR's wealth. Dusht paapi is Ram a.k.a Dhruv. He is not the traditional Ram rather he is like the Mani Ratnam Ram - thoda twisted.
Mami was the Kaikeyi who to secure the kingdom for her Bharat, Aakash, banished Dhruv. But later she accepted Arnav and even helped him out financially. So full on anger from Dhruv at Raizadas specially Arnav.
Today with Khushi confronting Sheetal, its all going to start unravelling and soon Sheetal may flee using a business trip as excuse to avoid a confrontation with Arnav.
Yes sheetal was grey and now looks black but still hope that they will not in jest show a woman walking into a couple's life, trying to break them and using her child in the bargain. That way the latest report need not even been have tampered but rather it is a report confirming relation but not paternity.
Though it still begs the Qn how Arnav and Aarav can be related when they are not of the same paternal line - unless Dhruv is Mami's love child with Arnav's father. In that case Dhruv becomes like Karna and Mami is Kunti who was unable to accept her son and give him his father's name Mallik.
But whether Mami becomes Kaikeyi or Kunti I like the idea because it is the mother angle at play and that angle of his past Arnav is yet to resolve properly.

And Akbar is conferred with "Tehezeebon ka tu sangam hai"
(yes Khushi's character dheela to Arnav rankles so I am still harping!!)
And it will also be a 360 for Arnav who had taunted Khushi on that bridge that being Mrs. ASR she could not walk away from the wealth and luxury. But he will realize that it was always love that bound her to him.
Oh there are so many ways the story could go now. Thats why I was telling J not to bring Shyam in for the moment.
Actually if it is about identity, then I like the idea of Dhruv being the love child of Mano Mami and Arnav's dad - perhaps why Ratna killed herself (the affair she could live with, the child she could not bear). And a guilt ridden Mano Mami embraced Arnav as repentance in the hope that if she looked after him, someone will look after her own (the Dalapathi angle with the elder half brother being abandoned).
Despite it all Mama married her and gave her respect and a name. And this love child ends up being the khoon of his dad - Nani's dialogues of her fear that the son would turn out just like his dad. (which could give some credence to the child exchange story Mami read in the newspaper and Dhruv thinks he is the rightful son whereas Arnav got the spot - like in that Amitabh, Vinod Khanna, Amjad Khan, Shammi Kapoor movie where upbringing triumphs blood, bonds of the heart win). There is also the castling to wonder about.
I know the sketches probably said, Dhruv was Mama's son from first marriage and Mami sent him away. Hmm then it is just the son's anger but I don't understand wrecking Arnav's life using Sheetal in that case for it would be more sensible to make a mess in Akash's life.
SN: Yep logic is not to be thoguht of but I have my fingers crossed that Arnav's past that he felt he had reckoned with comes in for a sucker punch not just in the form of an ex-gf rather as more of his father's sins visitng him.

DeleteYou know why the thought crossed my mind and Su mentioned it above too. When you do DNA testing, for the male line it is usually a male relative by blood (ofc if the report is tampered or logic boatwa is missed then ignore all this).
So if Dhruv is in the picture then the report should be positive for Akash and Aarav not Arnav and Aarav.
The only way Aarav is blood related to Arnav and the test will be positive is if Dhruv is related by blood to Arnav's dad and hence Arnav.
So
1. report is tampered
2. else if report is true then there is a twist from that result.

So I won't be surprised if there IS a new entry ... can't run the show with only Sarun, Anjali, Nani, Mami and Sheetal ... esp as Sarun are taking off to the UK for at least a week. However, I will wait to see whether the new entry is for Anjali, for NK or for Sheetal.
My feeling is, why would they get in a romance for Sheetal, who came in as a cameo, when Anjali and NK are still there? That would make Sheetal a long term actor on the show, and I don't think she is up to it - her acting is simply not of the same calibre. In that case, Arav is unrelated, he is just a pawn.
The other option is that Sheetal is being blackmailed, using Arav as pawn, and Arav is related to either Arnav's chachaji, or to Arnav's dad who is still alive. But again the latter is unlikely, because of the time frame. Arnav is barely old enough to be Arav's dad, forget about his younger illegitimate brother being old enough!

And Diwali well lets say it will be about Khushi beginning to realize her ehmiyat in his life from the day they met - a 360 for last Diwali when he said she, what happened and him holding onto her paayal meant nothing to him. On the contrary it meant everything.
KC, Khushi in red, poolside, Ab na ja - well remember how she had dropped her paayal there when she came for the anniversary party and he was stunend to find her again just when he thought her lost and then on had begun a golden period.

Yesterday, two women on SP were confronted with their husband's 'out of wedlock child'.
ReplyDeleteVeera- the wife who was suddenly exposed to the other woman, could not believe it at first. She believed it only when her husband confirmed the truth. She locked herself up and came to a decision, unwilling to listen to his side of the story. He kept pleading, 'at least, listen me out', but she was too heartbroken.
The other woman who was already sick, died at her doorstep and she told her husband, "When she died, she took my bharosa, she took my husband with her"- implying he was as good as dead to her now.
Arnav tries to clarify Khushi's doubts about him and Sheetal, but she just cannot believe him. All evidence points to otherwise and she is willing to go with proof. However, she has had the time to process this over days now, is that why her reaction just ended in a few sobs?
I felt the direction could have been better there ...or may be there is more to come today?
I feel K will not react the same way as the wife in Veera- she might be willing to forgive and will not let go. All those sily nightmares she had, esp the one in the kitchen indicates that she will hang on.

That was when she was barely aware of her feelings for him and totally unaware of his for her. You can argue that the blow will be harder now. For me the point is, she loved him then. She loves him even more now and MORE IMPORTANTLY she knows he loves her like mad.
Dusht aurat will not break her, I am sure of that.
And a love child will not make her hate Arnav, it might be a constant thorn, but her love is bigger than all that- she will embrace any child of his. The problem will be in getting him to accept it, I feel.
The very fact that she has been fearing this all this while, has had nightmares on it so often, SHE MUST BE RELIEVED that the truth is out at last. You know, kind of like living with the fear that a bomb might explode any time. Now that it has exploded, she will find ways to live with it...she is a strong girl.

DeleteThe makers made a huge mistake when they brought up the DNA report...frankly its a pandora's box..they butchered the character with that....unless u want to say that yes, Khushi lacks trust...(believe me, that is not an easy thing to say even for the makers...becos that is not how they have presented K so far). Now having gone that route, they need to address it..hain na? the only way they can redeem K from here on is to make her believe Arnav when it actually matters.or atleast show why she took this position and what she will do to rectify it....i don't know how....
To me this is just the track being laid...it is not how it will play out....and it can play out in diff ways...i also don't know abot the patience of the viewers (read largely online) considering there is the sword of damocles hanging on their head....

at that point, Arnav's knowledge of K's doubts was not in the picture so i presumed that she has a breakdown fearing the worst but it went along diff lines....so now i am not talking of breakdown but it can still happen if Arnav does some playacting here which gives Khushi the creeps but also makes her aware of Arnav's real intention(like the hut scene) the PH source has quoted a new post giving some hints about the track.

I am not sure of which route this track will take...but i see possibilities for both of my shiddats
1)Khushi's breakdown (i am not a sadist..its more like digging deeper for higher ground....u confront ur worst fears and then come up to fill urself with greater conviction)....i had notions of arnav nursing her thru this phase..
2)Khushi's belief when she fights her for what she truly believes his hers....The phase when all is against him....it can play out in a subtle manner or in a cliched manner....being an ardhangini in the true sense of the word

We all oohed and aahed that day but think, had Arnav not been an honourable man, had he not rushed there to check and look for her, would she have been alive.
Yes had she died it would have been his mitake and he sent her there yes but he did not know he was endangering her life when he sent her.
Today Khushi won the KC bet. At her weakest, in the last tough moments when she had started hallucinating food, Arnav distracted her with some intimacy some slow dancing and took her mind off the fact that she was fasting and she was hungry.
"Main tumhaare ishaaron par naa sahi par tumhaare saath toh naacha". He has always let her win any bets between them, gone to the extent of helping her win because the win guaranteed her smile and he could always do anything for that one smile on her face. That is why her tears affected him so much.
CASTLING:
By rule you cannot use the castle move when your king is in check. Aarav's was in check and he used the move. Arnav let it slide because he did not mind Aarav winning. It brought a smile to Aarav's face. It made a child smile when he is very depressed about not being able to meet his father. (much like the girl at the temple who was worried for her father and he got her pigeons).
On the BB court when Mami brought up the no touching rule, Arnav managed it then too because he did not want to detract the joy of Aarav having made the winning shot. he should righfully not have carried Aarav up but he wanted to see the child smile.
For a man who lived 14 years in darkness because of his father's deeds and lack of loce seeing happiness on a fatherless child's face brings some sukoon.
THINK:
NK specifically asked Khushi for water knowing she was going to the kitchen and soon after the man came to deliver the DNA report to Khushi.
NK was the one who gave Khushi the idea in the first place.

DeleteI was sold on Gul's vision just when i saw the promos of this serial..and i still believe they could have been mule-headed about it and shown whatever they wanted.
Just wish they had the conviction in their vision to convince the stakeholders and wish the stakeholders had the foresight to bear it out...but ofc somethings could still not have been controlled...so here's hoping for some sanity to prevail within this madness...

DeleteIf i was the PH, i should know by that the online audience has a nuisance value (even if they do have their gud days)...they can create problems out of nothing..and the stakeholders can create pressure to make them toe the line, as it were....
so, what do i do?
I would put snippets their way...give it some credibility and then work on the track as i want...the risk the PH runs here is that there is a chance of over-exposure causing some sting out of the tale when the track actually runs...but still is a better strategy to keep the ranters at bay...
do u remember when zee girl was giving out spoilers, she would also do this jalebi thing...but she built the edifice of atoot vishwas thru her spoilers...i remember that very well...in a veiled way, she was able to convince the ranters that all will be ok, u have to be patient...this is why blah blah blah
Unfortunately for the PH, my sense is that the current situation may be fluid so they are not able to replcate what they did before.

DeleteThe PH lady's spoiler ... they have another month to play with the track till the TRP's come out, and without the pressure of weekly TRP's they might decide to stick with the broad outline. I'm sure they have some way of getting feedback even during this time, online forums are one way, so they're not completely shooting in the dark.
Sandy ... castling ... from what I got online (Google baba ki jai) isn't castling a purely defensive move? So Arav couldn't have done a check mate in the same move anyway. But your point is more valid, it was an invalid move because his king was in check ... yet Arnav gave him the match, because he's a kid. Quite natural ... anyone playing with a child would give them that much leeway.
Same with the BB match ... in a regular match, same team notwithstanding, you can't lift a player on your shoulder to score a basket. So that was only to make Arav happy again.
Going back to the earlier posts on this thread ... why did Khushi not break down more? Simple ... she was expecting this ... she was already mentally prepared, thinking about it, wondering ... it wasn't a bolt from the blue.
Compare Anjali's reactions after the first Shyam showdown and after the second ... ok, the second was meant to be the final one but even then, from a story standpoint ... WHY was she so shattered and disbelieving the first time, and why did she accept it so quickly the second time? Because the first time was a complete shock, out of the blue, she had no reason to suspect Shyam of anything remotely resembling infidelity ... she wasn't given proof, just told to accept it ... she couldn't.
The second showdown, Anjali already had the experience of the first showdown and all the accusations, she had seen her family's reactions and knew they all were anti-Shyam, it was her own blinders, that's all ... it wasn't that she hadn't seen the truth, it was that she chose to remain blind. So mentally she was prepared for the truth ...
Khushi is already at that stage of being mentally prepared for the truth ... she's taken enough time to come to terms with it if she needs to ... she's already thinking in terms of 'Poor Arav, what's his fault in all this ...?' It's as though she has already accepted that her worst fears are coming true ... hence the lack of breakdown ...

DeleteKhushi had learned through bitter experience with Shyam to not take anything at face value, to not trust. Actually Khushi was always this way ... she didn't trust blindly as much as give benefit of doubt ... even with Shyam. Buaji trusted blindly, Khushi and Payal took much longer to get comfortable around him.
Same with Sheetal, she was wary from the moment Arnav admitted to his fling ... but she continued giving benefit of doubt to Sheetal ...
With Shyam, Khushi started getting suspicious, his phone calls. mention of Rani Sahiba ... and finally she forced the terrace confrontation - she started suspecting, kept chiding herself, no, it can't be ... then when it got too much, she went looking for Shyam to confirm her suspicions.
She's working the same way with Sheetal ... getting suspicious, keeping her eyes and ears open, moving to confirm her suspicions ... and once she has, she moves to confront immediately.
The difference ... she should trust Arnav's word.
The way I look at it now - in hindsight, after watching Sheetal's antics on KC - I don't think this is about trust ... if she trusted Arnav's word over all these things she has seen, I would call her as big a fool as Anjali ... it's not Arnav she doesn't trust, it's Sheetal. Sheetal is hiding something, that much is crystal clear.
Since Khushi has not seen or heard of any Dhruv or any other R brother, she cant be blamed for not thinking of him. Akash has shown no sign of recognition, neither has NK. Arnav has freely admitted to knowing Sheetal earlier, having a fling with her.
Obviousy her first thoughts will be towards Arnav ... can Sheetal be hiding something ... not only from Khushi, but from ARNAV as well?
So Sheetal can be grey if she is genuinely trying to hide Arav's parentage ... whoever it is, Arnav, Akash, Dhurv or another Raizada/Malik ...
And she is black if she is using Arav for only her only purpose ... which is to win Arnav back. If she is, she's gone a funny way around it ... by only raising Khushi's suspicions, and nobody else's ... forget the collective blindness of the R family ... and by not making any obvious plays to get Arnav's interest or his sympathy for herself ... only for Arav. Is that because she's seen that she herself has no chance as Arnav is very clearly besotted with his wife?
(Am ignoring the fact that till the ME on Sat, we didn't see much of Arnav being besotted ... he was equally casual with Sheetal and Khushi!)
