MU is not going to clear this week ... well, we knew that. as per the spoiler from Zee_News - apparently it might go on for the entire 6 months of the marriage.

extremely irritated with this MU for 6 months things - eerr - just knew it - they will clear it in June (around their 1st anni) - which will coincide with the almost 6 months with their marriage (from feb to June) - that is horrid - they will def loose their viewers till then - i already (despite being all for ASR) am loosing it with him - i cant stand this for 8 more weeks - just imagine how ODG must be!! (

ReplyDeleteHer calling him shaitaan was like her calling him Kans on Janmashtami - and it resulted in her ensuring he came down for the aarti and they having that talk about marriage and its importance in the car.
You know with this new girl, in case Khushi asks Payal if she is not insecure and her telling Khushi about how she trusts Aakash and does not believe everything at face value. And Arnav hears this. Or she responds to Arnav's qn on whether she is uncomfortable with this girl and how she tells him that she cannot distrust Aakash so easily. hereby Payash will act as a bridge to bring ArHi closer

well, the way the track is going, the MU has to stay for the 6 months of marriage.. it is "iss pyar ko kya naam doon", not "...aur pyar ho gaya". so the love in his/her heart has to be always expressed as something else outwardly. I think the logical(!) way to go about that is to have him understand the truth AFTER the contract period. and then it will e very interesting to watch the aftermath.
ReplyDeleteduring the 6months(of which one is over now), he will get to know her personality, her quirks, her honesty, et al but he will aways think she is acting.. it will only be after she leaves and snake's duplicity revealed that he will understand that it was her true reactions.. and he will miss her terribly etc etc. and the zeenews spoiler did say that the 6months in narnia is less than actual 6 months.

Yes it is IPKKNS and not APHG. Her true nature being revealed towards the end of the contract will leave 2 avenues open to him - let her go or force her to stay. I vote for let her go. She will also leave as she will be hurt. But then he will woo her back (I'm waiting!) and she will also perhaps realize how difficult it is for her to be separated from him despite her perceived hate for him.
From now till MU clearing like you said it is all about them knowing more about each other. Connections and MU clearance are gonna come slow and steady. And tehre is enough to happen. Glad the past is making an entry - hope it too keeps coming in from time to time. Their study of the Payash wedding and its contrast to theirs will also be good viewing.
I want Mami to know after Nani - only then will Nani be able to champion Khushi's cause in the face of mami's taunts
Yes Sandy, the stories they select do reflect the future track.. and I am in no hurry for the unraveling of the main MU. yes, of course he has to let her go. or there will be no point in the 6 months track.
Deletebtw, i heard somewhere on IF redux that four lions wanted them to get married, but SP insisted on the 6 month track... any thoughts on that?

DeleteSaw the spoiler you posted below. The 6 months was a clear addition later from the dubbing. Oh so that was the channel poking nose is it? I guess they were setting a longer timeline and making it clear to users that MU is not going away anytime soon.
On the blog I recall we had discussed why 6 months - cos it does not easily fit into the preggers timeline either unless Anji is already 3 mths preggers by the time she found out.
One thought was if Khushi had said no to a marriage then, it could have been seen as an outright rejection of Arnav by her and what would have been her reason to refuse except the hurry burry marriage. But teh 6 months added to the deal maker trait in arnav and how the wedding was a mere transaction explaining all his subsequent harsh actions while giving Khushi a reason to refute teh proposal bcso marriage is sacred to her. Also with 6 months she has a reason to walk out whereas with a normal marriage Khushi who values the bond so much, how would they have reasonably justified her walking out (keeping SP sensibilities in view and the woman cannot be shown terribly indpndt now can she).
Another side thought was it also gave Arnav time to evaluate Shyam's nature and see whether he actually chooses to change knowing Khushi is out of bounds.
Thirdly, Shyam not knowing of the contract from khushi would help add to Arnav's confusuon on what he perceives as the Shyam Khushi collaboration (DDR)
Make any sense?
My view was if not for channels and viewers, Arnav would have offered her a live in disguised with symbols of marriage - the lowest he cud have thrown her. She would have worn teh symbols but they would not have been married. And then over time as he realized her innocence, it wud have cut him up that he treated her so cheaply and his repentance would have been even more and he wud have not been able to forgive himself for this highest slur on her honour. She woudl have walked out on him bcos he had undermined her honour and self respect when he should have protected them. And finally once it was all cleared and sorted, they would have got married only then. but lik gargi said, Sandy the serial would need to air on Star World an not Star Plus on that case :)
