We wanted Buaji admonishing Khushi to respect her husband - got a whisper of that one when Buaji twisted Khushi's ear - would have liked it to be longer ;) yes, even though I like Khushi! :)) When she's stupid, she needs to be smacked!
Arnav apologising to BG about calling G Amma.
We wanted Arnav-Buaji/Garima bonding - we got that :)
Khushi's hormones awakening - we got that ... a few glimpses.
We wanted Arnav to help out with the Guptas' finances - he did that. And G ladies realizing the guy may be short tempered, but he has a heart of gold under the bluster.
RR finally got to the locker - and we had a great legal eagles discussion and a good laugh at the collective stupidity of RRR and ODB! :))
ODB puts mangal sutra and sindoor for ODG in front of witnesses ...

Khushi ditto - not the razor/scissors, just the hair stylist ;) ... and lose the bump of false hair behind her head. The wedding look is much better.

Chai ki pyaali and star gazing ... am not giving up on this one till they're actually back home in RM ... but if the dhamaka takes place right after the wedding, won't happen. If dhamaka takes place when they're back in RM, we still have a chance.

And then some thinking/confusion starting in Bitwa's mind ... again, in words and expressions please. We like things to be spelled out clearly.
Also Arnav to recognize the importance of relationships to Khushi, and start questioning how that fits in with her wanting to break up his Di's marriage ... just START, please!
Khushi to start wondering about Arnav's extreme patience in dealing with her at GH, and wondering about the reason ... actually, even I'm wondering the same thing ;)

make a reason. whatever.. we are seeing that this boy has realized that she is his life. make him step up to the plate. maybe to comfort her as she breaks down. maybe after he finds her hit by a car. maybe just as he wakes up and finds her cutely irresistible.
no, he is not a demonstrative person. no, i don't care. if he can ask her to feed him, he can hug her. same place in the heart. keep it inside the bedroom, if he is uncomfortable with PDA.
2) I want an end to the choppy editing.. they take away everything from the feel of a scene.. a scene should have a beginning, a middle and an end.. patchworked scenes and scenes I don't understand are not welcome! editors, read the screenplay before you edit.. crucial elements of screenplay were missing in several scenes this past week. Devi Maiyya, Shiddat!

3) I want khushi to reconcile with Devi Maiyya before she leaves GH. Her dialogues with devi maiyya were a crucial element in understanding her thought process. that is desperately needed in the story right now! Also, those dialogues imply that she is indeed a teenager.. working things out in her head with divine help. that persona is absolutely essential.. in fact, if that persona was still there, so many of the seemingly OTT acts would have been easily explained.

Deleteam watching the SPT and downloading the segments - will edit the IPK ones and post on youtube. Mainly Sanaya - do you want Payal also? Planning to download Sanaya's dance and fashion show segment ... so far nothing much else.
Sanaya dances so gracefully ... damn Barun, can he learn some basic dance ASAP?!! I want SaRun performances in these shows!
And Sanaya was definitely the best in the fashion show, I liked Manorama too - she's a good host. Hasn't Payal put on a lot of weight since IPK started? Was watching the scenes Jaya posted and she was much slimmer then - she's positively chubby now!

Apparently Barun has signed a movie and has started work on it, and has cut down his hours on IPK as a result. Which is why he's looking so tired these days.
Hmm ... glad for him, but I think it's a bit unprofessional of him ... compromising the show which has brought him so much of fame. And it will compromise the show to some extent for sure. The foray into movies has been the downfall of a few tv actors - KSG, Rajeev Khandelwal ... but has worked well for others like Ram Kapoor and Ronit Roy, though they don't do lead roles in movies, they mainly do supporting roles. Let's see how it works for him - and what it means for IPK.

ReplyDeleteStar Parivaar Tyohaar - it's pretty useless - they have the actors from all the SP shows coming in for a casual evening in batches ... I just watched tonight because Sanaya was there, but it's pretty boring otherwise. And agreed, I don't like all these extraneous things - takes their time away from IPK ... I'm equally selfish! Which is why I'm not too happy about the news of Barun signing a movie either - last week we had BD's because Sanaya was missing for SPT and now it appears BD's were also because Barun has started shooting for a movie! And then SP sends Sanaya off to UK ... hamare show ka kya hoga?!!!

ReplyDeleteWell its too early to judge his choice and he is shooting more than 12hrs for IPK in days he is not shooting for movie and I don't think so its lead role either otherwise he would not be able to spare time for both ..... He seems sensible enough to go RK and RR way with just supporting or minor roles ..... Lets see whats in store .....
This hate marriage have become like a curse in IPK ..... Budget issues......actors falling sick......PH busy with other projects .....main leads out of town in several occasions &now lead in association with another project ...... Hope for the best for IPK!
Sama, RK and RR went into Bollywood late ... BS is still young, my guess is he would want to make it to lead roles - this might be an attempt to see if he clicks, while keeping IPK in hand, because Bollywood is very uncertain.
DeleteBut for every SRK or Vidya Balan, you have so many who never made it or got stuck in side roles. Name just a few - Rajeev Khandelwal, Amar Upadhyay, KSG ... all tried and have dropped out of sight. Even Aditya from Maryada did movies, never made it big, still dabbles in them but has switched back to tv. Prachi Desai did Rock On, and after that haven't heard much about her. Karan Kundra is now doing Punjabi films, Gurmeet C is also trying for movies. But Bollywood is full of politics and star sons - it's not just talent, in fact talent seems to be the least important thing. And if you make it, well and good, otherwise you drop out of sight both in films and on TV - the tv producers will be very wary of touching an actor if they think he might leave halfway for a movie.
The attraction is that the money is much better and the working hours are much easier, so all the tv actors are tempted ... but in terms of fame, some of the better known tv actors are as well known, and even better known than some of the less successful Bolly actors.
thats true most tv actors are well known than the less successful/supporting actors in movies but its still tempting nonetheless for any tv actor and it comes down to this only .....how he handles his temptation.....he seems to me like a guy who knows his limitations and also how important it is to value your roots

did you see the rangmunch video where a fan asked about the rough pach IPK is going through and both his and arshads laugh as if saying "tell us about it" ......
I just hope he does not leave IPK at any point (till it retains its storyline).....that will be the end of him ..... I like him a lot and want him to flourish. A name that can be trusted in telly land for his acting well even in his 30's and 40's ..... Hope for the best !! :D

ReplyDeleteIts been a long time since I wrote here...but I do keep reading what everyone says. Part of the reason for not writing is the general frustration over how the show is going. I have been going back and watching older episodes because I have been missing the old Khushi and the cool ASR....I so want them back! BS looks really tired and now we know why! While I am happy for his break into movies, I so dont want him to leave IPK...because it would never be the same without him AND SI! Their chemistry is just too special...I think I would totally stop watching the show then!
Thank God for Youtube....I get to watch old episodes as much as I want!
So Sanaya is off to London...is that for SP or a vacation? And BS is shooting....probably works 18 hour days...and it definitely shows...poor baby!

Her moves are not perfect but she does it with such joy and swiftness it makes me feel like thats exactly the way it should be done .....
