27/4 - Epi 240 ... Sabki Baratein Aayeen, Doli Tu Bhi Le Aana

Friday 27th April

No better title for today's post than the song Sandy posted below ...

First fifteen minutes of the episode was the usual comedy crap ... seriously, which neighborhood, however friendly, lines up to get their appliances fixed by visiting damaad? Surprised Arnav ever agreed ...
Two scenes I would have liked ... a longer version of Buaji giving Khushi an earful ... she deserved it after this stunt!
Arnav grabbing the hose from Khushi and hosing her down in his turn, just for fun ... and to get his revenge for the mechanic prank! Even though (just for once) Khushi had nothing to do with the cow dung :)) Would have made for a better Rabba Ve ... this one didn't do much for me. And Sanaya would have gotten her wish to get wet in the summer! =))

Arnav-Buaji scene was funny ... the cross-connection over the bluetooth and Buaji's assumption that Arnav was hard of hearing, that was why he agreed to become mechanic!
Smart boy Arnav - deal to get back to Shantivan the next day - clarified by Nandini mausi that sangeet and wedding is the same night. So sangeet and wedding and the dhamaka about Shyam happens on Monday? Tuesday?

Mami and bhoot ... filler ... my first thought was how come Mami slept with make up and jewelry on - cv's have usually shown her sleeping like a normal person in a nighty.
Garima Payal convo ... small one.

And the last scene lifted the episode from very average to good - Khushi describing her 'dream' wedding with a smile on her lips and tears in her heart ... and Arnav listening in ...
Just a couple of hours ago, I said I wanted the conflicting emotions in Khushi to show more clearly ... got my wish. CV's please keep this up! With the dhamaka coming up, should happen!

Sanaya ... bang on in the last scene ... the silent scenes with the fb's could have been longer ... again felt a little rushed.
Barun ... a little confused ... was Arnav feeling guilty? He shouldn't have been ... he should be angry, because it should bring back memories of why he married her in such a rush ... not feel guilty that he broke her dream. The way seeing Shyam or Anjali-Khushi bonding brings on anger, memories of their wedding should do the same.

  1. Today Arnav sees how Khushi masks her sorrows and hurt behind a veil of smiles, saving her tears for when she is alone.

    1. Sandy u are really my twin in thinking, u almost write everything which i can't, wouldn't beleive I thought of the same song especially the lyrics"
      sab ki baaraatein aayi
chaaha tha maine, socha tha maine
kya kya the armaan dil nadaan ke"

Now will Bitwa will tell the truth out of guilt or thinking at-least its her right to know the reason?

And think by monday tuesday the truth will out, and now they have already paved for return to RM with deal.

    2. Gosh Sandy, me just caught the epi and thot of Urmila when I saw Khushi....this was not the first time...not that they look similar but becos...some of her mannerisms as Khushi remind me of Urmila in the movie Satya and then I was thinking of this very song...which has Urmila in it...
      forgettable movie but beautiful number...

Aaru, maybe Khushi will ask him "why did u do this to me? and Arnav in a mixture (her pain and his guilt) may blurt it out...they would get very close for that to happen

      Delete
    3. @ Rekha, yes it will like always K will ask, but this time his her pain and guilt will be above his ego and control and he may say it loud. and hence I feel this time the asking and giving out will be more like the holi confession rather than then usual anger outburst.
I really wish it is this way, where both of them know how much each has hurt other unknowingly even if the truth is half. The sobber way of saying it will make K recoil into her self more than the usual outburst.

      Delete
    4. But do you think Arnav will ever let out the real reason unless he's flaming mad?
And what did you think of his expressions in the last scene? Were they guilt? the beginning of anger? I couldn't decipher.

That song is so apt ... the lines just leaped out at me for the title today after that last scene.

    5. Dia,
I think Bitwa would have let out the real reason in anger if it was normal at RM - that is if he had not come to GH or more so had not witness this wedding and K and her friend’s confrontation.

Arnav's expression was more of regret and helplessness rather than anger or guilt, he is still not guilty of forcing K to marry , but he is regretting the circumstances that had forced him to marry her the way he did.
This is first time he has seen K masking her of the hurt and pain to people. That's first for Bitwa to see the real K. And we still have the sangeet and the real marriage to take place so more opportunities for him to see the damage he has cost if they carry this marriage track to its full extent in emotions and intensity. And this will make him give the real reason.
Hence I want it more like the Holi confession where K asks and he leaves his guard against her hurt and pain giving her the answers.

    6. Aaru and Dia,
Both of u right...I feel he will say it becos of everything that Aaru says, he would have reached breaking point ..after this whole wedding tham jham...but the words he will utter will not be due to his feeling the pain; rather he will say when Khushi will demand answers from him pointing to her broken dreams...something that she says will cause him to snap..(he may think of her linking her dreams with Shyam)

      Delete
    7. Exactly Rekha, her broken dreams- may be thinking in realtionship with shyam. But that snap will be more because of hurt rather then anger. I want a guy in love, whose dreams are/were broken as hers and not a brother when the truth is out.

      Delete
    8. Aah, yes, Aaru, I get your point ... not as a brother, but the anger, if it comes will be as a jilted lover.
Because that IS why he married her ... as a brother, he would have sent her as far away from his Di and KJ as he possibly could.

And I agree with Rekha there ... something she says will cause him to snap, something about her broken dreams ... which he thinks refer to his KJ.

Am off for tonight, girls ... see you tomorrow!

    10. Aaru / Dia / Rekha,

I am all for him telling Khushi because she talks of her pain. When she speaks of her pain and hurt, he thinks of his pain and hurt at her perceived betrayal and tells her. It is her hurt (like Aaru) says which I hope will be the driving factor. (Like Aaru says it may start like at Holi with that pain in him seeing her hurt inside but on speaking of broken dreams and crushed hopes he totally gets it wrong just like him telling her about chot at pag phere, after HR and this time completes the thought - u hurt me, i wante dto save a life, finish it this time)

It is high time that Arnav the lover makes it all about him rather than Arnav the brother.

      Dia,
Yes the RV would have been more fun had it been both ways but that would have been playful. This was super annoyed arnav at all that Khushi had subjected him to. Plus the main point was her saying "Ab toh aap poori tarah se is mohalle ke ho gaya hain" - u know the people, thier problems, thier large heartedness, their mindset and even their eccentricities!

You know that last scene where they look at each other and have FB's I thought Arnav had that look of hurt and irony.

He thought of the way he had to propose marriage to her - a total contarst to what he had been hoping to share with her. His dreams crushed as he uttered those merciless words. To him the confession of love would have been the highest / biggest dream he would have had. What would have been the happiest day of his life became the most miserable. His dreams razed to ashes.

She thought of the temple scene when he put in the MS and sindoor. Her biggest dream to be wedded off in a traditional manner surrounded by family and friends. To be blessed by elders on the most beautiful and important day of her life. Instead she got a wedding at some lone temple with no one around. Having to see the man she had begun to pin hopes on mercilessly mock the symbols and institution of marriage. Telling her she would mean nothing and have no place in his life. Even the DM who she had always beleived in did nothing to stop this from happening to her. Her dreams burnt to ashes.

Do pyaar karne waale dilon ne bune the sapne
Par yeh sapne jalkar ho gaye the raakh
Dilon ke armaan ronde gaye bedardi se
      Tab nikli unse ek aah!

      Aaru
Huggs on calling me ur twin. That song is haunting all cos of jaspinder narula's voice. u know i get goosebumps hearing

      "ab har koi mehboob hua
hai sab ke liye yeh raat meri
ab toh hai yehi aukaad meri"

How broken would a woman have to feel to degrade herself to that extent.

      Delete
    11. Sandy,
Ahh, yes, I get it now ... I was so busy trying to decipher Arnav's expression that I didn't pay attention to his fb's. Yes, broken dreams for both of them ... he remembers the way he proposed to her - such a contrast to what he wanted to say and do ... so regret and sadness for what could have been for him too ... for both of them ...

And her dreams - what she dreamed her wedding to be like, and what actually happened.

One more thing in the episode - for the first time, Arnie boy developed some chivalry and actually helped Buaji lift the heavy cooler - he has never done that till now for either her or Khushi. Another sign that he has finally gotten absorbed into their world, where everyone helps out everyone else without being asked ... so his sense of chivalry belatedly making an appearance.

    12. sandy, (applause) wow you got it!

    13. Thanks J!

      Dia,

In that scene Arnav realized just how many dreams Khushi had woven around her marriage. He also saw how she managed to cover up the most dismal day of her life so her friends would not get a hint of the real thing. She has always harped about marriage even in La days and how he insulted La by living with her without marrying her. She even brainwashed La into accepting marriage. Arnav had then chided her saying this is your middle class mentality. But it was a mix of the importance of marriages (note not weddings) and her dream of a beautiful wedding that drove Khushi to want the same for La.

Today Arnav saw just how much of Khushi he had crushed. He realizes she had tender dreams and all she got was a rough hewn deal. Though today he may believe her dreams were with another person, when he realizes how she is not to blame, his remorse at having crushed her most important dream in such a callous manner will be a thing to see!

I said Arnav would think himself not worthy of Khushi. Now this will be one of the reasons among others why he would think so. She had always attempted to only keep his family happy and in return all she ever got was his brutal words and anger. That day he will repent and also in a way recall his mother's words on how Khushi has borne the anger and returned the love manifold!

Wish they shooted together but san needs to practice for her show too

Loved how Khushi described her wedding ..... Truth yet so away from reality !! Sanaya was bang on. Loved it!!

Also loved buaji scolding Khushi and Arnav all delighted ..... A call between payal and garima discussing ArHis stay in GH ..... Add more of there then MB getting scared of Bhoot.

Why was the cowdung scene there?? was it for a meaningless RV*head desk* instead we could have more FB and emotions on the wedding.

Sama I think on almost smiling face of Arnav is when he enters, he smiles seeing K but when he hears her friends he changes.(did watch eppy online so might have missed it)

preetos wedding will take major of next week elaborating on wedding dimensions .... I hope they do and do not rush through the scenes but with San away editors will have a major role to play then the week after that ArHi will heat up for the confrontation which will happen on 250th episode now as ME on 28th is postponed

    1. I really wonder how they will manage the wedding with San away. Barun being away doesn't have so much of an impact ... he's supposed to be strong silent type, so he can be presumed to stay away from the festivities when they get too loud. Khushi is supposed to be the mast one always in the thick of things. And isn't Payal coming for the wedding?

They may have some song sequences with Buaji and Garima singing the 'Banno' type songs they sang for Payal's first wedding.
And I forgot - the music system is supposed to conk out according to one tagline, so Arnav to the rescue again. Don't tell me he will sing ... that will be toooo much!!!

When is the 250th episode? What date?

  4. Dia, I don't think Barun was confused here....its very difficult to portray the mix of that emotion here..anger & regret..I thot abt it too..My take is if he had shown anger at that moment..it would have us left with a terrible feeling..Regret is more like it..of what it could have been but sadly can't be..
Moreover, Arnav has not yet openly confronted her on his worst fears...its like he is scared to do it...not knowing what she will say...To me that is just round the corner...that explosion..waiting with bated breath!!

    1. Arey, nahin, not Barun ... I meant I was confused :)

I don't know what reaction exactly I'm expecting from Arnav actually ... it has to be a mix na? For Khushi it's easy, she's upset because her dreams were shattered, and she doesn't know why, what he feels for her ... no mixed emotions there ...

For Arnav, because of the MU, he would feel guilty at first about breaking Khushi's dreams, but then why should he feel guilty, if she was dreaming about marriage with his KJ, so the anger should come back ... there needs to be a transition. Here the guilt would have been uppermost because the fb's were only of their wedding, not the terrace scene. So I was confused! The scene was too short to fully express all that, I think ... will be clearer on Monday.

      Delete
    2. Yes...what u said is true...one more thing, Dia, if u see, here he was reacting to Khushi more than anything...She had put on a facade in front of her friends...however she was in pain.If Arnav was not a man in love (however confused he is), the FBs would have been abt the terrace scene...but that is the "vidambana"(no right english word for this!!) so he reacts to her pain...that has always been his weakness...

However, we will also a different Arnav soon, i have no doubt abt it...anger in full measure

    1. I don't think it will take two weeks for Arnav to blurt out the truth about Shyam. I think it will be out in the next couple of episodes and then Khushi will go into a shell thinking he was referring to her hiding that Shyam was her ex-fiance. Arnav may then become more vindictive thinking that his worse fears are confirmed because she did not protest. Maybe the ME will about Arnav lashing out at her in anger, having discovered the will documents have been changed or something.

    2. Sama yaar,

I am thinking like Opti here. If they take till 250th epi to blurt Shyam ka truth phir toh waande hain be! It should at least come in by end of next week.

250th ke liye next pataaka rakh now that creepwa knows he is getting thngs when he hoped for jaaydaad. I would want the flickering batti that is bitwa's dimaag to actually flicker vrighter in a positive sense for 250th epi. If there is a mid May ME, it should be Arnav coming to know the extent of his MU wrt Khushi from that terrace scene and his RTR needs to start from there. Keep it paced nahi toh phir se phuuus (Mona says so too :))

    3. trust me 10 episodes are not much ...... they give us 4 mins of brilliance every epi for next 5 or 6 epis ..... then get back to the track when sanaya is back as they need both SI & BS in 1 frame for the dhamaka

    4. Either ways Sama, by the next ME I want Arnav knowing Khushi is innocent Samjhi Tum! ;)

My only wish for the promo to happen by coming Fri is because then they have around 3 weeks to build up the heart vs mind and even for Khushi to do something warna they will rush thru what will be the best part of this whole track.

    Toote huey khwabon ne
    Humko yeh sikhaya hai

    Hum dhoondthe hain unko
    Jo milke nahin milte
    Roothe hain na jaane kyun

  8. Hellooz...

Today's episode was okayish...I wish they'd omitted the cow dung scene...it achieved absolutely nothing...I agree with Dia it would have been a better scene if Arnav got annoyed and grabs the hose from her and drenches her and seeing her sputtering starts laughing or smirking...though it looked like they shot most of this episode separately so doubt that would have been possible.

I had a total MIG moment when he comes up close to Khushi and says 'You have to do ANYTHING I want to do'...the way she reluctantly...or not so reluctantly gulps looks like she had MIG moment too...:-p...then he say he wants to go home..'oh' a little disappointed Khushi? lol

I liked Garima and Buaji trying to figure out the fancy recipe it was very cute...All the BG scenes at GH have been very sweet and if anything I've found Khushi a tad annoying (yes yes I know she's supposed to be annoying...what can I say-she's achieving it).

All the Arnav and Gupta family interactions have been very nicely shown and his transition and increased comfort level especially.

The last scene in today's episode was a much awaited one and frankly I felt they glossed over it too quickly. Sanaya's expressions were bang on and I liked Barun's expression too-simply because we cant quite tell whether he's hurt, guilty, angry or heart broken...personally I think its all of the above... but wish her dialogues had been better or more...mentioning something like ...it was just a small wedding in front of Devi Maiyya...Just felt they should have spent more time on this scene...

I was soooo disappointed with Arnav's look...he's been looking so scruffy and then in that last poignant scene his hair was unbelievably over gelled...seriously they can keep his hair longer if they want but they cannot over-gel it...that semi gelled semi natural look is so much better:-(

You know Dia keeps saying she's on bitya's side:-)...well I'm officially taking bitwa's side...he's in for a rough time...he's going to get it from all sides and yes his dimaag is on a world tour and currently off the grid lost in the Bermuda triangle but he's in for a world of guilt and heart break...

It sucks to be Arnav and its going to get worse...so yup I'm in his corner:-p (most of the times;-))

    1. Gargs,

I hope that with today the setting of the stage is complete. They have been doing just that since lst Monday. And now that elephant which is ArHi totally non existent marriage has been forced right into focus centrestage. So now something will start to give from next week onwards.

U know that look in the mirror - was an almost replica look of the Payash sangeet mirror scene look - the one where he walks up to her and says that green suits her too and then opens her hair out - idiot it yet to realize that she has neevr plaited it since that day on.

Well if we are taking sides, I have alwasy felt I am more of an Arnav supporter than Khushi on R&R (well mostly!) so yes even though he will deserve everything he has to face, he will stand up tall and face it just like he is facing Khushi's antics. Today Khushi right in front of him treated the kid to a sweet effectively telling Arnav that this is all my plan to overwhlem you. And he just took it all in his stride. he knows she is goading him and he is matching her stride for stride thwarting her plan to get him to blink with all the PDA OD.

But now that the wedding is around the corner and after today's last scene there will be no avoiding some hard realities. (Btw I hope there is a short continuation to the last scene on Mon)

I want a crop cut for Barun like during Diwali. And please they need to maintain that stubble to the extent it was in Thurs epi for the ladder and flower scene. No more. Else he ends up looking scruffy and yucky!

  9. Here's an explanation for the cow dung scene.

    Cow dung = Shyam

Arnav was trying to get away from Buaji and slipped into the cow dung. Buaji was responsible for getting the snake into her house. So indirectly she is responsible for the mess but only partly. Arnav had his head up in the air and did not see where he was going. So he is responsible for giving the snake an opportunity to mess up all their lives. If he hadn't released those tapes to the media in his arrogance, goondas wouldn't have been after Khushi and she wouldn't have had to be saved by Shyam. So the snake connection had its root in Arnav's arrogant actions, much like Arnav walking with his nose in the air and slipping into the dung.

Getting up he looks at Khushi angrily and asks her to shut up, as if to hold her responsible for his plight, much like he held Khushi also responsible for the Shyam mess and took out his anger by forcing this marriage on her.

Khushi turns the hose on him to cleanse him and enjoys doing do. Khushi's pranks, irritating as they may be, also brings about a change in Arnav's perception of her. Although he is ***ed of initially, he begins to enjoy it when he sees how much fun she is having. His love which has always been there even in the peak of his anger is slowly getting unveiled as the dung begins to wash off.

Alas, this is most likely to be a short reprieve because the dung is going to come back to stick again, maybe once he becomes aware that his locker has been tampered with in his absence, an absence forced by Khushi.

On the file na yaar, aaj ke epi ke baad I am hoping ki any more yelling Arav wants to do at Khushi is because he feels jilted. Honsetly Shyam ne will dekha toh ASR kph jyaada pareshaani nahi honi chaahiye. He should take it up as so now that the KJ knows the lay of the land, let me see how he treats my Di. will / locker tampering is too ghissaa pitaa and I would hope ki they don't go down this angle.

But u never know with the CVs. To me the biggest MU for Arnav now will be Khsuhi's chuppi on the Shyam matter when he confronts her.

  10. hi ladies, am commenting on the last few days -

@ Jaya - loved your VM, was laughing so hard - this was the first time a saw one and my first reaction - my daughter stays away from the internet (read IF) for as long as i can manage it! :D
(Ps did you notice - anjali is wearing the famous 'ma kay kangan' in the shot where she covers ASR's eyes?)
    - could someone please show these shots to the makeup artists - ODB looked so good then - now he looks greasy - he needs a haircut and less gel!!!!

@Gargi and Rekha, good discussion on law - but i really doubt the CVs actually spent even 5 min on the 'actual possibilities' of law - but like you rightly said - they don't realize we study IPK like a granth!! - to my mind, this is what the CVs could be thinking - either
    - this is all a red herring (Coz there is a great shatir demagh somewhere!) - or- ASR has actually did this but with the intention of providing for his DI - ASR does not want his Di with RRR - he very categorically said it - if Di had not been pregnant he would have thrown RRR out of her life! - but coz of the baby he is giving the creep another chance - so basically ASR is trying to secure all things for his DI by making her a sole beneficiary - that does not automatically give RRR a share coz he is the husband - the owner stays Anji (any more analysis done by the CVs seems highly unlikely!!)

today's epi - average except the last few moments - and we all know why

i understand we have been debating what all can happen in the future - i for one am not thinking coz ipk has history of bringing things to a peak and then ppoooosss!!! - like really beautiful firecrackers that get wet all of a sudden - they builtup a real good story - prefect movement - and then the terrace scene - months of slow progress after that -
then they built it up again, at holi - perfect scenes and all of a sudden ppuuuss (no reference to anything afterwards except a half memory by ASR)- again built up before HR and again let down - so now - with yet another built up, i am keeping my fingers crossed and not expecting anything. but i really feel it is about time they moved back from a comedy to an intense love story!
what i would like to see -
    - the MU to clear and not lead to another MU -
    - no half confessions that lead to nothing (as in holi/HR)- even if the MU clears and they both need time to now accept the changed situation- see each other in a different light* - that's ok - take your time in that acceptance but no more dillydallying on clearing the MU or having useless half confessions
(*ASR - without doubting her and - KKG, realizing that he did have a reason behind his actions and he was trying to protect his sister - and that he loved her all along!)
    - finally that when the leads clear out things - they explain things with reference to time and situations (for example - he was about to talk to her when he saw her with RRR, that she got engaged when he walked out on her - that he broke his engagement when she was upset etc etc, that he lied to her about faking his faint) - basically things that let them know how much they meant to each other from the beginning

I saw guilt and regret on his face.. he has been slowly falling in love with her.. cannot live without her.. and accepted it.. he has been seeing firsthand what kind of a girl she is..

this blatant pain is something more than he can handle.. his eyes were crying out.. (i know someone saw his lips go into a smile-like shape.. it was extreme angst... you know how when we are desperately trying not to cry, we try to move our face into a sort of grimace? this was what was on his face.) On his wedding day, when he actually ran into his room, locked the door and broke down.. we saw the same grimace.. looked like a smile, but was not.

    7. for her wedding, she was not wearing the red and green lehenga.. she was wearing the red and blue lehenga. so why was she describing her SR lehenga ?(which was anjali's i guess) or was she describing her dream wedding outfit?

SN1 he was asking her to do anything at all he asked.. and she had experience of his kiss challenge.. and still she said yes? bitiyas M is in G too?

    1. Jaya, that entire Raizada Repair Centre scene was pathetic! Of all the stunts Khushi has pulled, this was the worst ... and even worse was that the mohallavalas happily lined up with their appliances!

I didn't actually realize that the leads shot most of their scenes separately today till second watch ... editing was pretty good!

Red and green lehnga - she was describing the SR joda, that was her real wedding outfit, I guess - the blue and red one she wore for Payal's wedding.

Love your SNs - both of them! :))) Bitiya agreed to his 'anything' very quickly ... she's ready! And me too noticed he didn't want her on the floor - he's gotten used to having her in his bed very quickly! He definitely had a good night last night!

Just wondering *MIG alert* ... if they go back to RM before the dhamaka happens, will he tell her that he's sleeping in his own bed from now on, and she can keep to her side, and he to his ... as they managed in a much smaller bed in GH?

    2. the mohallawalas came to get their stuff done.. i can get that.. but for arnav singh raizada to agree to do it.. and to call it raizada repair center(!!) was something i did not see in my wildest imagination! he could have shouted at her for doing it, he could have arranged for someone else to do it, but eww.

  15. Jaya, she recalls and describes her SR outfit rather than her wedding outfit because technically the SR outfit was her 'shaadi ka joda' which has to come from the groom side. What she wore on her wedding night was actually meant for Payal's wedding and not strictly her 'shaadi ka joda' for she wasn't anticipating getting married that night.

There were a few subtle touches in the scene which may not may not have been noticed by Arnav. She says that green is her favourite colour. Arnav has overheard her mumble in her sleep on the morning of holi that her colour was yellow. Yet she tells her friends that her favourite colour is green. Green seems to have become her favourite colour after Arnav had mentioned that the green saree she wore on Payal's sangeet suits her. She seems to have absorbed his likes and made it her own. As Sandy mentioned, she has not tied up her hair ever since that night when he let her hair down lose and said it was better that way.

    1. well, technically, the blue border lehenga also came from RM.. but yes, it was meant for payal's wedding.

green looks good on her, he said on payal's sangeet.. holi was not before that! her likes and dislikes may have changed, but to say she likes green only because he he expressed his approval did not gel with me.. he likes her in red better!

she has not tied up her hair.. no. it is the SP bahus tradition to have open hair, okay, but even on holi, she had tied up hair.. and she plaited it once at gupta house. after the wedding, they started with the buffoon wig (good one!) and that became her set hairstyle..

IMHO, she looks 28 in that hairstyle, not 19. which is why i have a problem with her jhalli acts.. if she looked 19,( cue maybe her on holi? ) things will at least look different!

    3. gargi, that is not strange.. people fall in love at all ages.

he has a well settled life, she was just starting out.. and it is her innocence and honesty that pulled him to her after the initial "she's so beautiful" attraction.

she's like a fresh breath of air in his jaded world.. which is why I think he enjoys her antics and tolerates her OTT stuff.

but the casting is at fault.. it does not help that he looks 17( with a haircut) and she looks 30 (with the puffed hair).

    4. Opti / Jaya,

Yes even I thought of teh SR outfit. It was that day that she got a shaadi ka jodaa from her sasuraal and was also accepted as a bahu of the house. Bhale wedding us din na hui ho, but the marriage was complete on that day.

She got decked up, she was carried into the household, the elders witnessed her acceptance and she was sent to her room to claim her final marital right from her husband. But what did he do, he threw her out and spoke of disgust. I think though the temple wedding shocked her, it was his actions on that marital night - of anger, of disgust that finally shattered her dreams. A reminder that they were husband and wofe in anme only and she would get nothing from him - not even cordiality.

To me - green my favourtie colour - khile bahaar ka - was somehow morea throwback to sangeet night when hr life truly had begun to resemble a garden in bloom, her dhak dhak had come back and a man she never expected to, danced with her and helped her win.

      Gargs,
true people fall in love at all ages.

      Jaya,
Yes she has done variations with her hair and it cud be SP tradition (tho in our community it works opp, once married expected to tie up hair most of the time), but feels gud to think ki bitiya ne bitwa kesay so pe baal khule chode hain.

  16. There is something I wanted to mention for quite some time now. Although this marriage did not take place under the best of conditions and these two have been angry with each other for their own reasons ever since, isn't it amazing how much they want their respective families to love and accept their partners? Arnav was upset when his family shunned his wife after their impromptu and clandestine wedding. Although his MU is still in place he smiled satisfactorily when his Nani accepted Khushi after her Holi dance in disguise. Likewise although Khushi is upset with Arnav for forcing this marriage on her and not giving her the reason for it, she smiled happily to see him bond with her family.

Another thing they seem to have in common is they behave badly towards each other in front of their respective families but are at theis best behaviour in front of their spouses' families, forcing their families to take the side of the spouses. Arnav has been rude and insensitive towards Khushi in Shantivan, sometimes even in the presence of his family. His family has always sprung to her defence and chided him.

In GH, Khushi has been at her irritating best with regard to Arnav, unmindful that her family may notice her behaviour. Her family has been pulling her up and admonishing her for the same.

    1. Opti, bang on - I was thinking exactly the same thing! Neither of them bothers to put up a facade in front of their own families, and this results in exactly what you said - his family sides her and her family sides him. I was thinking this to be so because everyone is definitely a different person in their own home, with their own family - they know your flaws and weaknesses, you don't have to bother to hide them. You have that confidence in your own family, that they accept you and will forgive without thinking, whatever mistakes you make. Besides they know you and accept the way you behave.

And partly the reason you mentioned below - that makes a WHOLE lot of sense to me too ... Bingo!!! I was also wondering why she's being so irritating to Arnav in front of her own family, rather than trying to paint a picture of happy families, especially when he's trying his best to be nice - well, after the first day, that is.

And could it be the same for Arnav unconsciously as well? That he is also doing exactly the same thing for her, so that when the marriage breaks, they will blame him rather than her? Although it would be more conflicting for him ... what reason will he give for the break up of the marriage to them, especially if RRR does show signs that he has reformed? Because both ways she would be blamed - even if she walks out because of his behaviour, for a girl to walk out on a marriage is more unpardonable than a guy, whatever the provocation. I think he really didn't think that far ahead at all ... it would be nice to see him thinking about it, though ... what reason will he give his family, if he does indeed manage to save Di's marriage and RRR apparently reforms.

  17. Another thought that has been nagging me for some time is Khushi's true motives for her quirky behaviour in GH.

Although on the face of it it may appear as though she is irritating Arnav as a means to vent her frustration and get him to reveal the truth about their marriage, I think it is far deeper than that. I have a feeling that subconsciously she is trying to paint a picture before her family that she is the one responsible for messing up their marriage. She knows that this marriage is short-term. In six months she will be returning back to GH. By getting her family and her neighbours to see what a tolerant and considerate husband she has got, she seems to be paving the way for his exoneration when she comes back for good. If she had behaved like the adarsh patni in front of them, they would have bad mouthed Arnav when the marriage ultimately dissolves. Deep down I don't think she can bear that. I don't think that even she realises what she really is doing is to indirectly protect him in the future.

    1. Bang on, as I said above! I love your analyses, Opti!

And also, adding to the above, keeping the road open for her family to push her back to him ... again unconsciously. If the truth comes out in front of them as to how he forced her for the marriage, the Gupta's would understand why she agreed, and would be upset with him at the blackmail. But their own guilt would come into play, that they were party to hiding the truth from Arnav, and Khushi paid the price for all of them - it would be easier for them to forgive Arnav because of that, and if they saw that he was a good husband even in spite of the MU. And to urge her to give her marriage another chance. Because all said and done, Khushi wants desperately for her marriage to work, she wants to stay married to Arnav for good.

      Delete
  18. Agree with you Dia. Khushi does want to stay married to him. She never forgets to mention that she is Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada. I suspect Arnav too wants to be with his Khushi. the last time he enunciated her full name he did not pause to bite out Singh Raizada but said it smoothly in one go as though he has accepted she is indeed his better half. The guy forgot his anger the minute he saw how much she was enjoying getting him drenched that he stood pliantly allowing her to have her fun at his expense. Their families will definitely play cupid and get these two to realise they just can't do without each other.

  19. Before they leave GH I want Khushi to realise how much Arnav has changed from the LG she knows. If she had tried the trick she did yesterday, lining up her neighours with their respective goods for repair, he would have yelled and humiliated her in front of everyone. He never cared about what the world thought of him. So why would he have cared about her neighbours? She seems to be confident that he wouldn't lose his temper and make a spectacle of their sham marriage. Shouldn't she ponder over this and wonder why? For all his class dialogues he seems to be keen to be at his best behaviour even at the cost of his own time, in front of people who are far inferior in economic stature to him. Khushi should start reassessing this new man in front of her and acknowledging the fact that she does care about him.

    2. Gargi, the USP of that show is the special relationship shared between the hero and that little girl. Simply love Mohan and Nanhi scenes. They are like the best buddies, confiding in and advising each other. The love story between the leads is just starting to evolve, with it being more from the guy's side than the woman's. For her he is just a good friend at present. Watch the Maha episode telecast last Sunday. There is this intense confession of love the guy makes to his ladylove in front of his former girlfriend and her fiance, although the heroine thinks he was just play acting. It is quite a moving scene. Overall it is a feel good show without being melodramatic or OTT.

  22. Dia, just a quick note here as I am rushing. I don't want to see Shyam reforming. Everything he did to Arhi may be pardoned. But trying to kill his wife more than once?Shashi too!! No way he can undo that wrong . (Of course , nothing is impossible in IPK land: maybe he will put his life in danger to save Anji's and that will earn him his pardon. ) I have always wondered about these two. Arhi, we know has to end well sometime or the other. How will Anjali react when she learns about her husband’s duplicity?
Getting back to current affairs, I think the ME was cancelled parly due to San’s trip. But she would have shot for the wedding. That’s why I will excuse them for the bad editing and rushing things thru thu & fri. How can they have the wedding without Sanaya?? Back later..

    1. Su,
Nooooo ... I definitely don't want to see Shyam reforming - he's a killer, and he needs to be punished. The PH did this with their previous show, I think - Opti would know better, and I don't think it worked ... here, I think Shyam is far more evil and has been kept evil all through, so reforming him would not make sense.

My thoughts about future track once Shyam's truth is finally uncovered to Anjali - whenever that happens, this year or next ;) ... I have actually thought about this earlier :)

I would guess Arnav would eventually throw Shyam out of RM once the true extent of his misdeeds is uncovered - don't think Arnav would ever forgive the guy who attempted to kill his Di, and neither would Khushi forgive the guy responsible for her Bauji's condition.
So my thoughts - he would be thrown out and would then work as an external enemy - as opposed to the enemy within, which he is now. This could even take the form of sabotaging AR industries, badmouthing the new Mrs Raizada (Khushi), thus taking the show into the realm of corporate politics - if the cv's can handle those.

Also it might be a good way to bring in Arnav's dad, if he is still alive - Shyam starts working in the dad's company as their lawyer, and there is enmity between father and son and rivalry between their companies ... or father is trying to re-approach the son, who hates him for what he did to his mother, and Shyam keeps sabotaging all his efforts. Khushi could be involved if she starts working with AR and starts getting a whiff of what is happening, and is the first to uncover the father-son relationship ...
Anjali is either comatose through all this ;) ... or goes mad ... or recovers and cv's find a new love interest for her ... and Shyam works on sabotaging that as well.

Ayelo ... just wrote out another whole new story!!!

I saw on IF that someone visited the sets for the RM iv, and said San was shooting to build her bank for when she would be away, Barun gave a short iv. And SaRun also shot some scenes together. So yes, they're rushing her wedding scenes, and probably the ME was cancelled partly because of her trip - because it's organised by the channel, the channel would also have said yes to postponing the ME.

"don't think Arnav would ever forgive the guy who attempted to kill his Di, and neither would Khushi forgive the guy responsible for her Bauji's condition."

exactly because of the this, I dont think those two things will ever make it to closure.. they are things that until now, only sham knows.. and he is never one to blurt out the truth.. so nobody else will know. (I think)

  24. Hi ladies,
    Random nonsense!

I know these are fictional characters and in teh hands of very dubious CVs but still, could not help thinking -

    - I know for most of you the scales tip a wee bit more in favour of khushi as compared to ASR, and i agree, he is older, should be wiser etc and he DOES not use his famed dimagh (and that is positively irritating) – but like Gargi says, it sucks to be ASR – with all his baggage, he still fell in love with a cheat (or so he thinks!), when he finds out the truth, he will be worse off than KKG – she will be hurt but he, he will be devastated (or at least should be!) – so what happens next? I for one, would like ODG to understand why he did what he did (if he reveals a bit more about his past and why he finds it hard to trust, the better!) i would want her to forgive him but not forget too easy – so that he can work hard towards gaining her trust and love again. In short, what i am trying to say is that the CVs will have to show that though she loved him, love does get affected if your partner does not trust you – so he has to work on regaining both Khushi’s trust and love for him.

    - Yes i agree with both Dia and Opti - ODG wants a marriage, a proper marriage, a life time commitment, not a six months contract! True, But why does she want it? - coz 'marriage' as an institution is sacred to her? or because her 'marriage to our dear boy' is what she wants to save, simply coz she loves him? - i think it’s the later more than the former - if you remember, right in the beginning, during payal's first wedding she went to meet her future BIL to talk about dowry, even then marriage was sacred but she knew where to draw the line, she knew what is wrong, is wrong. By that logic, if this marriage is just a sham, just a farce, why will she try and save it? It’s because she know that this marriage to her dear boy is what she wants and what she knows in her heart of hearts is what is real – hence she will try to save it

    - Finally, this stay at GH, apart from providing comic relief, has helped them get closer (as in terms of space) and more accepting of having each other, they have been in each other’s face all day – in RZ there were days they hardly saw each other! – so they are communicating a lot more now – yes, ODB had asked ODG never to question him about the reason for the wedding and she had agreed, but now her eyes ask the questions – and he cannot lie with his eyes – hence he looks away! All the lies about him hating her, him not caring, are only to make sure his anger stays high and he is not swayed by his love for her!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Mona, my problem with connecting with ODB these days is that his thoughts don't make much sense to me. I know we all find Khushi OTT and irritating, but at least when I think about it, I can find a reason for her behaviour, she has voiced it many times - she wants to irritate Arnav enough to either be thrown out of RM, or even more - to make him bark up the truth about why he married her.
And we saw in the GH episodes that Khushi is always on call to 'fix' things ... her marriage is the biggest thing she wants to fix right now ... her reasoning is if he married her because she hurt him, she wants to know HOW she hurt him, and then she can try to make up for it - 'fix' it, as it were.
Because whenever she makes a mistake, she says sorry instantly and tries to make up for her mistake. That's her nature.

I know everyone is going all gooey over this new improved Arnav who's all soft and sweet, but I can't get into his head - WHY is he being so sweet? Is he falling in love with Khushi all over again? With the background knowledge of her treachery? He thinks he fell in love with a cheat - shouldn't that always be on his mind, shouldn't he then be fighting his feelings a bit more, instead of giving in to them so completely?
He's being sweet because he realises she is out to irritate him, and so he's trying his best not to get irritated. Okay, accepted ... but then he should ask himself WHY she's trying to irritate him so much ... and since all she's been harping on is the reason for their marriage, shouldn't he stop to think for even a second, that she should KNOW the reason for the marriage, because she's in cahoots with Shyam, Shyam knows the reason, and he even saw Shyam with Khushi, so Shyam should have told her immediately, and she should have told Shyam that the marriage was a six month contract, so they both just had to sit the six months out.

Or he thinks she's irritating him to get out of the marriage earlier - and that's because again, she wants to be with Shyam ... so again, be sweet and don't lose your temper, but you think about Shyam all the time, and give some monologues - Khushi, I know what you're trying to do, but it won't work, I'm not going to let you go so easily.

      Delete
    2. contd ...

That's why I'm still not so much on Arnav's side ... although I enjoy the GH scenes ... because I don't see any conflict there at all ... the guy is head over heels in love with the girl, he thinks she's betrayed him, and that's why he married her in that rushed manner, breaking both their hearts ... and he's just busy mooning over her all over again. And not thinking at all! If he hates her and loves her, if there is a conflict in his mind, I want to see it ... I need some logic in the storyline!

And I want Khushi to see the conflict too ... to wonder why this guy is sweet at times, and nasty at others ... but then, he's been that way all through with her, so she might not be able to connect the dots so easily to Shyam ... he was nasty the first time at Diwali, with no Shyam in the picture, then the 'farak padta hai' with La ... the next time he went nasty was at the Payash wedding after her Shyam terrace encounter, the time after that was after her Shyam encounter after Heer Ranjha.
So even if she tries to connect the dots, Shyam encounters have been there in two out of four times Arnav went all nasty and brutal with her ... not all the times.
So she's working only on the present problem at the moment - because it's impacted her whole life, and if she doesn't fix it, she will have to leave RM in 3 months.

I think only once she discovers that Arnav linked her with Shyam and was so quick to mistrust her, will she even start thinking about why he is so quick to mistrust and judge ... and that might be when she will start digging into his past. Right now, all she knows about his past is that he's an orphan like her, he loved his mother terribly and still misses her, ... and vaguely that there is some mystery about his father. That there was so much trauma, it has impacted him so badly, and how, she still hasn't started to think about. And maybe Anjali can start giving her a heads up at some point ... or Nani, if Anjali is in coma by then :)

    3. Dia, I wish the CVs had worked on Arnav's character as much as they did in the past. It looks like they just got lazy or are tied down by the compulsion to carry this senseless MU for another month or more. If the guy starts thinking rationally, it wouldn't take him more than two minutes to figure it all out. Yes, they could have at least shown the conflict between his mind and heart. Why should he continue to love the girl who betrayed him. It appears like he thinks of the terrace scene only when he gets provoked - by seeing Shyam trying to get fresh with his wife or Khushi making sugary remarks as to how much she cares for Anjali or vise versa. Rest of the time he appears to just get carried away by his love for her. It is as though it does not matter to him that she was in love with Shyam. Now that she is his wife, she belongs to him. Well, if they are taking this route, then he should go all out to woo her and make her fall for him. That way he can ensure that she will never return to Shyam after the six months and he will have his love for good but the way he is behaving, even that does not seem to be the case because he still gets upset over that terrace scene when provoked and he is not proactively trying to get her to like him but is just tolerating her pranks, sometimes resignedly and sometimes with irritation. His brain clearly seems absent which is why I am frustrated with this track. The intensity of the track warrants no let up but that is missing.

I would have preferred if they had shown Arnav piecing together the truth after trying to reconcile the differences in Khushi's actions and words but does not let Khushi know that he made a huge error of judgment because of his king sized ego. In his own ways he tries to make amends by returning to being the Arnav Khushi had witnessed before Payal's wedding, the teasing, caring and flirty guy. I am sure this will confuse Khushi at first but then she may follow her heart and reciprocate his feelings. Just as they settle into a comfortable relationship and are on the verge of taking it to the next level, a jealous Shyam should strike, letting Khushi know the real reason why Arnav married her. That would leave her shattered and she may withdraw from Arnav. the whole redemption track could have then played out.

This half baked track where the characters of both Khushi and Arnav have gone for a toss is bound to leave people confused.

    4. Oh Dia i completely completely agree - like i said ODB 'needs to be devastated!' and the problem here is that the CVs are way too busy selling the hotwa hero, that they have forgotten to concentrate on his character - and hence my old problem with the CVs, don't mess with the characters!! To top it all - at least (as you say it) they show some thought process of Khushi (earlier thanks to her talks to DM, we were very sure of what she was thinking - then there was a lull and remember how we debated on the blog of what she was thinking and why she was not questioning ODB etc - then finally they started showing her thoughts again - now with OBD - his thoughts were never 'spoken' out loud but his actions were clear and here you are completely right - the CVs are mixing up the actions all over again - i feel that ODB cant fight his feelings for his lady love, knows deep down that she is not a cheat (hence his confession at holi did not even have a shadow of the MU!) but then why is he not doing anything about it - like i have asked in numerous posts before - what about this 6 months plan - what does he want to do during this time? where is his action plan? (if he were my subordinate - i would have fired him!!!) - so i 'want' the story to go as stated earlier but i really cant depend on the CVs - like a said - they are dubious, if they can make such a muddle of such strongly etched characters - can we really expect any miracles - but the optimist in me is still hopeful - some day teh main creators of the characters will stand up and say - enough of the 'character assassination! - back with the originals and then we shall have the story back on track!!

    5. Opti, Mona,
Resigned tolerance ... exactly - that's his attitude, and it just doesn't gel. Where is the intensity, where is the love that changed overnight to hate? ... if he loves her enough to tolerate her very irritating pranks, if he loves her despite the fact that he thinks she loves another man, then what is he doing about it? Either he should hate her even more for that, or if he loves her so much, he should decide that he will win her over by wooing her - after all, he's by far the better catch. Or like all good Hindi movie villains, he should decide to discredit Shyam in her eyes and make her fall out of love with Shyam ... KUCH toh kare!!!

They could make Arnav bark at some khufiya detective agent he hires - keep track of KJ's movements, I want to know every time he steps out of the house, who he meets, everything ... check his accounts ... Except for stopping Shyam's allowance and making a nonsensical will (which I still hope is a red herring), he has done nothing to Shyam, he has also now behaved like a puppydog to Khushi and slowly allowed her back into his house, his room and now his bed ... not to forget allowed her to feed him, bathe him ... kapde pehnana baaki reh gaya bas! :D And bent over backwards to please her family ... but why?! If Opti's premise is right, and Khushi is doing it to keep his image intact in front of her family for when the marriage breaks, shouldn't he also think of spoiling his own image, so that the family won't be too shocked at the marriage break?

The ASR who pushed her out of his room on their wedding night, the one who bluffed her into thinking he had got Payash signatures on a divorce paper, because he wanted Khushi to stay with him, still made sense to me ... this one doesn't!

Mona, I cracked up at your remark - 'if he were my subordinate I would fire him!'

When MJHT S2 was on and Rati had returned, there was some senseless comedy there too and the story went for a toss. We heard there was a big argument on the MJHT sets, where Sanaya and Arjun Bijlani had huge arguments with the director and the writer that the comedy wasn't working and the main story had been totally derailed. I wish Barun and Sanaya would talk to the writers - they are such a close friendly unit, am sure their inputs would be given consideration.

    6. Dia, how i understand your angst!!! coz we love the character so we keep finding excuses for him but that is exactly what is wrong with this track (or the recent few) - why is ASR cooling his backside - why is he NOT DOING SOMETHING!! and the worst part is the CVs don't seem to understand that they are killing the show :(
(and yes i would have fired him - no action plan - no output - no use!!)

honestly.. when an actor gives two years of his life to the entertainment business, he would wish that it be used effectively, right? there is a certain expectation when the character has been sketched out.. if suddenly everything goes haywire, the would feel jilted...

but some inner fight must be shown in both the cases(khushi and asr)...there is none...
Dia i think Barun and Sanaya enjoy doing these funny scenes more than intense emotional scenes...so they r nt saying nythng to writer/director ...

    10. Doesn't make much sense to me, yaar. Why would Shyam kidnap Arnav? It would cook his goose right away, and that too, permanently. More plausible would be Shaym wanting to kill Arnav ... he's already a proven killer twice over - unsuccessful one maybe, but it's the thought that counts :D

And if he kills Arnav, he gets control on Anjali's wealth, and no questions asked, Khushi loses the protection she has of being Arnav's wife, and is fully vulnerable to Shyam's advances ... he has it made.

More plausible would be an attempt on Arnav's life, leading to Khushi's ambulance moment. And it might wake up the 2 Idiots to how dangerous RRR actually is - at the moment, they're both busy ogling each other and have forgotten completely about the real villain.

Yaar, yeh IPL kab khatam hoga???

  31. So, i read the redux.. and am wondering about you guys' take.. doodle said, the two mothers in gupta house shower so much unconditional love on our bitwa.

I was thinking, connected to anjali's lecture after the fainting lie, if this is what we are seeing? because he can see clearly that these ladies love him, he is becoming the "naya chotey" who tries to please them every way? he apologises to them, he jokes with them, he does things thinking of their izzat..

is this why we see him being a new avatar at gupta house?

at RM, nani is the strict gram, mami he barely tolerates, it is only anjali who truly shows that she loves him.. however smothering she may be.. and ASR at GH, faced with two ladies who treat him as his own, has reverted to being bitwa? as opti hinted before, he is putting the feelings of his inlaws before his own... or else he would have exploded far before now.

    what do you guys think?

    1. agree........I think they are the ones who are the 'humanizing' factor as ASR/Arnav reconnects to the world, so to speak..........this break @ GH seems to have done him some good and hopefully, he picks up on a lead or two which will jalaofy his dimagh ki batti.............

    3. everyone at RM is soo OTT and the constant tussle between Mami/Nani and Mami/Payal must get annoying..they do love him but let him be..
at GH they want him to be a part of everything they do genuinely and for a love starved ASR two ladies mothering him is all it takes to bring out the person hidden deep inside!!

      Delete
    4. Arnav is indeed reconnecting to the world through his stay at GH... i think glimpses of hate we see is the nature of ASR...his true self is Arnav only which is getting uncovered at GH due to all the motherly affection he is getting from BG...

he must have worked very hard in the past to set up this whole business from the small amount of money mami gave him... sweating it all out like he is doing at GH...who knows he might had worked as a mechanic to start with...that is why he is able to fix all the things so easily with the magical srew driver..

he may even say something to khushi referring to his past "mere paas hamesha se itna bada ghar aur business nahi tha...i had worked so hard for it... dammit..." something like that...

correct me if am thinking wrong...

      Ayesha

    5. Ayesha, *rofl* at your magic screwdriver :)))

Yes, one of the humanizing influences at GH is definitely the motherly love ... considering that ODB misses his mother more than anything else ... Anjali is not motherly love, she is a mixture of smothering love and extreme dependence ... so he feels more responsible and protective about her, he can't really depend on her in times of weakness, because she doesn't usually hold strong for him, instead she in turn becomes even weaker ...

And the acceptance by BG of his whims and demands - he wants his own shampoo, ok beta, no problem, he wants an AC, theek hai, he's not used to the heat ... no emotional blackmail or whimpering that we won't talk to you, meals for him first, the rest can eat later ... they hide their hurt feelings and bend over to make things comfortable for him ...

Here it's a mix of being treated like an honored guest and still a part of the family ... and when ODG gets annoying, she gets the flak from BG, which doesn't happen in his own house!

    Dia/Jaya/Rekha/Sandy and Gargi
Agree with you girls and Opti awesome analysis on cow dung, A and K and the family equation and K subconsciously trying to hold on the marriage and set it right. Bang on these Opti.
@Mona – exactly I want the love story back and yes “no half confessions that lead to nothing (as in holi/HR)- even if the MU clears and they both need time to now accept the changed situation- see each other in a different light* - that's ok - take your time in that acceptance but no more dillydallying on clearing the MU or having useless half confessions” and the time line reference.
Mona I atleast wish they give each other a hint so that each of them have something to move forward in finding the truth. Like as we know there is going to be a confrontation from Bitwa telling K that he knows about RRR. Even if they don’t clear the whole thing I at least wish they give each other some clue like see says” appko humari toothi saagi … and he cuts her off saying “ mai sagaai ke nahi chat ke” .. And we can something which will stop their discussion for some time. Once they return to RM, I want them both of them to start using their dimaag and think about the hint they got and handle Shyam in their own way. But that’s high hopes from CV’s.
As Opti – I too would have preferred if they had shown Arnav putting together the truth. And hence I still want half MU to clear and giving each other something to move forward in search of truth. You know each mistake he has made in judging her has to be a milestone in RTRW. That has to be step by step as the layers of MU clears. As you said he has to show with his actions and undo each mistake. And the last would be K walking out knowing the real reason the real reason for him to marry her – that is- he didn’t trust her or more so didn’t trust in his love will be his real RTR.
