I've often said that laughing together, teasing together is the cement of any relationship. Hence the title today.
Buaji holds forth about Khushi, Arnav could have gotten an insight into this crazy girl, but he's irritated by frying chillis and misses most of it. See Khushi, how self-defeatist your pranks are?! Give them a break, girl!
Ladder scene ... badly edited ... sometimes they were at the same level, sometimes Arnav was two steps below ... kya yaar!!! But the rabba ve still worked somehow ... and the fall was pretty good as well. Lots of rabba ve's happening ... which means the dhamaka is not far off now.
Loved the first shared smile ... hayyeeee ... have waited for forever for that to happen!!! :">
Mechanic Khushi vs mechanic Arnav - she has as big an ego as he does ... and does NOT believe in the adage 'my hubby strongest' ... she thinks she's the strongest! And he loves getting the better of her ... but really Bitwa, [-( when will you learn? Don't challenge your biwi - she was NOT brought up in the Sati Savitri Bhartiya Nari tradition! You poke her, she pokes right back!
Loved that little scene of Khushi entering the room searching for Arnav, and he's calmly sitting on a pile of gaddas, not the least concerned ... well, can you see anywhere else for me to sit?

Can the Props team find something for Bitwa which looks even remotely like a real laptop? And can Arnav start handling it as though it's a real one?
Shyam finally manages to access the locker ... Arnav's will leaves everything to Anjali. Could he really be that dumb?! Or is it a trick?And why would Shyam be dumb enough to think Arnav would give him anything?
SN - nothing to Akash or Nani either?
Precap - the world and its neighbor thinks Arnav is a mechanic?

Okay, I'm on Khushi's side mostly ... but did she fry the chillies just to irritate Arnav? Or to actually get a start on a meal for the crowds? Could be either, so I'll give her the benefit of doubt (I did say I'm on her side ;) ) ... and she was singing just because she knew the crowds and tamasha would annoy Arnav ... which was why she pulled the stunt of getting his unwitting agreement in the first place!
Buaji holds forth on Khushi's good qualities of always looking out for others, sharing everyone's joys and sorrows, her big heart ... all lost on Arnav because of the frying chillies! Somewhat akin to Anjali telling Khushi about Arnav's habits, and it being lost on Khushi ...
Buaji says - khuhi has doosron ke liye izzat ... Arnav makes a face ... no izzat for him, that's for sure!
Apparently frying chillies is to ward off the evil eye, and the person who sneezes is the person cursed, so the sneeze rids him of the curse ... in that case, has Arnav's curse of MU been partially lifted?
For a shatir businessman, Arnav sure took a long time to figure out how exactly he'd been had! =))
Nandini mausi and family ... give an inch and take a mile - I thought Buaji agreed to house some guests, not to hold the wedding from her house? :))
Didn't Khushi tell Arnav that Pritika was getting married? Why was he so baffled at hearing the same thing from Buaji and Pritika's father? 'Shatir' businessman ka dimaag on vacation! Or maybe he was just confused by all the commotion - and why everyone was saying he had agreed, when he had no recollection of the fact! Liked the way Arnav gets totally caught up in all the work to be done ... koi kuch kehta hai, koi kuch ... poor guy follows orders like a lamb!
Buaji enlightens him as to how exactly he 'agreed' ... the penny drops, including Khushi's role ... but he can't say 'no' to Buaji now ... how the mighty have changed ... :)) Won't say 'fallen' ... here it's more like 'risen'!
And Khushi comes out, busy as a bee ... meal prepared for the children, hubby dear, move out from here ... Arnav as sulky as ever, why will he follow her orders?
He finds out why ... as the speaker blasts in his ear ... and Khushi sweetly explains ... that's why :))
And goes on the tease him ... your ear has gone red ...
Your nose is red ... throwback to his teasing of the morning ...
Urgghhhh ... they lost a golden moment here by rushing through this scene ... should have lingered on Arnav's slow realization that she's actually teasing him back, and then his smirk ... and her smile ... nope, she didn't mind his teasing or his nearness, far from it ... the flashback just hinted at it, but his expressions weren't given enough time ... it would have been a lovely moment of togetherness, like the smile that came later. And then his rushing after her would have made more sense ... loth to lose the moment ... and the togetherness ... the teasing, mischievous, loving sprite of a wife, and the loving, doting hubby ...
Anyway, Khushi rushes to her next job, getting more flowers ... Arnav rushes after her ... she climbs a very rickety ladder ... worried hubby tells her to come down at once, she actually agrees, and mysterious gust of wind is back, conveniently blinding her with her dupatta ... so HH to the rescue ... till he gets lost in her again ... Rabba ve ...
Loved their expressions here, Arnav as usual unblinking, fixed intense gaze, Khushi soft, her lips trembling, eyes averted ... their expressions made the RV work, in spite of the up and down dance on the ladder by Arnav (*head desk* - editors are sleeping on their job! Or maybe they're just in a frantic rush to can Khushi's shots before Sanaya leaves)
And loved the little squawk of alarm Khushi gives as they both crash to the ground ... standing like that on a rickety ladder, what do you expect?! :))
And another RV follows, both lost again in the moment, in each other, in the falling flowers (while I watch the tipping basket and try to catch the hand that's so obviously tilting it =)) )
And they're both getting so accustomed to the physical closeness, wanting it, that neither even tries to escape it ...perfectly comfortable in each others' arms ... till the falling basket brings them to their senses ... somewhat.
Bloody hell, guys, take this inside your bedroom, would do much more good there! :"> :))
LOVED the shared smile as they both realize what happened to the flowers ... and why ... neither denying that they were perfectly comfortable with what happened ... loved the slight shyness in Khushi's smile, the slight ruefulness in his ... attraction accepted and acknowledged to self and each other for first time ... over and out. That's why a shared smile is SO important!:">
And next problem hits and breaks the moment :( ... the spoilt generator ... Khushi immediately off again to help, Arnav a tad exasperated, again you have to be the one to fix things ... (what he really wants to say - stay here with me, dammit!) ...
And Arnav's turn to be the hero, as Khushi can't do the needful, so he does ... much to the admiration and applause of all and sundry ... the Guptas' new son-in-law is not just a pretty face, he's a very useful person!
Where did Arnav babu learn mechanics and engineering, btw? Thought he couldn't even change a car tyre at last count :)) But when Khushi challenges his ego, anything is possible!
And of course he loves to rub it in ... after a small RV moment (the third today ... this means the storm is coming soon for sure, but after a few more close scenes) ... rub off the dirt mark from her cheek ... well, he's her hubby, he can touch her whenever he likes ... and he likes pretty often these days ;)
Don't try to do everything, you can't, I can ... I'm smarter than you, I'm Arnav Singh Raizada ...
Bitwa, oh Bitwa ... when will you learn? =)) Bitiya rises to your challenges ... but always!!! Has she ever let you get away with that one without giving you a fight?

Loved the way Arnav slowly removed the cotton from his ears in disbelief as he saw the waiting line ... WT* is happening here?! =))
SN - Anjali said Arnav doesn't like kids. As with most assumptions of Anjali's, this one seems pretty off the mark as well ... Arnav has been remarkably good with the kids so far ... Khushi's tuition kids, the girl in the temple, the pooja kids on Ashtami, and now this one ...
Shaymuu - the next victim of amnesia ... itni tapasya kabhi nahin ki kisi cheez ko paane ... has he forgotten the six months of staying at Buaji's like a PG and all the play-acting to get Khushi? And why and how did he expect to be named in Arnav's will? Another 'shatir dimaag' bites the dust!

khushi fried chillies to irritate bitwa... strangely, only he is affected.. everyone else are used to the smell?

one good thing that happened.. they shared a laugh for the first time.. scene was not long enough..
bitwa one-ups bitiya in the mechanic dept... (how? he did not even know how to change a tyre..) haridwar mein yehi seekha kya? and bitiya takes up his challenge.. "i can fix anything" oho, then fix everything.. ROFL
snakewa got hold of the file. arnav's will.. names anjali as sole beneficiary. sham does not like it... (why? if anjali is beneficiary and sham is the husband, he gets everything, right? idiot RRR.. ) so, will he plan to kill the goose or save him? or will he write another will and replace it? (why were no one else in the will? not akash, not nani? does that mean AR and RM are not in arnav's name? (that is logical.. he was taken in when he was 15.. it wont be in his name, right? lawyer girls here? )

Suppose Shyam and Anjali were equal beneficiaries and now according to new will, Anjali is the sole beneficiary...how will that help in keeping her out of harm's way...unles he states that in the event of something happening to Anjali, the effects will revert or go to a trust or another person
Jaya, no use for RRR to write another will becos a will is valid only of it is signed by the testator, that much i am sure...about Cvs i don't know
AR would be in his name...he would have done it after becoming major...thats understandable about RM, can't say...

The ladder scene was not shot well, IMO..one scene A is at K's eye level and then next scene, he is below..it was jarring....so instead of the rabba ve, they could have concentrated on A's emotions when she got on the ladder, getting a bit worried for her...which he was....

and yes, if they focused on his concern, the scene would have moved more smoothly. 3 rabba ves in one epi.. they are boxing up dabba ves again!
if they can show one on top of the other whats wrong in standing on one ladder side by side ....idiots ..... Could have been a wonderful RV ..... SaRun were great as usual

Jaya, but why would Arnav want Shyam to stay married to Anjali if he was earlier ready to break the marriage?! What's the reason for the 6 months grace period then? And he's seen that Shyam is showing no signs of reforming. Will he then plan to stay married to Khushi for life, just to keep her away from Shyam?

And Arnav knows Anjali is putty in the hands of her hubby - so if he does pop off and the property goes to Anjali, it's as good as handing it to Shyam anyway.
Please, God ... and cv's ... make Arnav a little bit smarter than that! There has to be a twist here! He should have made a trust, where Anjali gets income for her lifetime, and if she dies, it reverts to Akash and Nani or something.

If i am not mistaken, the word used is executor not beneficiary and there is a mountain of a diff in the two terms...since i saw this online....i am not sure....

Which makes even less sense - he should have appointed the lawyer as the executor, and named Anjali the beneficiary, but tied up her income in a trust. This has to be a red herring - can't believe the cv's could be so stupid.

Now for the first half –it was bad executed Rabba ve’ and three of them in one as fillers, Really CV’s, can’t blame them, half crowed doesn’t want payalash and mami fillers and Sarun are already overstretched, so what else can they do add RV’s, so for this reason i will ignore the execution. Loved the Bitwa buaji bonding. And the concerned arnav although that could have shown more completely. The CCKKP for me was the first genuine smile they shared after ages without any inhabitations. That was really a RV’s moment.

(I just gave Family law paper-have absolutely no interest in family law and was wondering what use its going to be learning the testamentary procedures for Hindu law, Muslim law, Christian law etc- turns out it gives you a good laugh while watching IPK)
@Sama...no one see's the contents of the will except whose will it is and the drafter...even the witnesses (minimum 2) simply attest that the will is real and not signed under coercion and don't know the contents unless the person wants to divulge that information.
I'm not sure if the will said executor or beneficiary will check it when I watch eppy properly
The legal representative is usually the executor- that's the person who literally executes the will and all its contingencies. How the estate is to be divided. In case of disputes interprets the will and represents the diseased's wishes in case the dispute is taken up in court...so really can't be Anjali.
The beneficiary/ies is/are obviously the person/persons to whom the estate is given.
Any half decent will will have stipulations for contingencies..like...
1. If Anjali dies before Arnav the estates goes to xyz
2. If Anjali dies the estate then passes on to xyz (here Anjali's will will be ineffectual regarding Arnav's property if there is clear intent stated in his will...again there's a time period for this.)
3. Anjali will be the sole beneficiary if she agrees to a certain thing (like maintenance of nani, mami etc) otherwise estate passes onto xyz.
The other thing is I'm not sure again but it looked like the document said 'Hindu male' which automatically means Hindu Joint Falmily. Even though Arnav is probably the 'karta'- for all intensive purposes the head and owner of the estate; the business is a joint one so the next 3 members and Arnav become co-parcenors and as such have equal legal claim to the estate.
If they're excluded from the will then there are a number of things that can happen. However, most commonly the estate would be partitioned and then passed on- Not gonna happen here obviously.
Also dunno why Shyaam is getting so angsty he never had any claim to the property...he's not part of the Raizada 'Hindu family' and in Hindu's the daughter has equal rights as that of a son (unless mentioned otherwise in the will) but the daughter's husband doesn't have any claim ...ah but her kids do...
Okay now I seriously doubt they've thought this through.

So in this case technically mama or Akash would be karta. But since Arnav left everything to Anjali what would happen in a normal situation is that this would be disputed and the estate would be partitioned and Anjali would only get her and Arnav's share not the entire Raizada Estate.
Ghar Jamai or not has no bearing. In Hindu Family blood relations and legally adopted sons are the co-parcenors(controllers of the estate) and its legally binding upon them to give maintenance and equal rights to the women. In Anjali's case she has right soley as a daughter and now by way of Arnav's will. But Shyaam has no rights in any way.
@Dia if he had his own estate that would form a completely different Hindu Family separate from the Raizada Family.
Anyway all this is moot because Shyaam (lawyer my foot) doesn't seem capable of killing one Raizada sibling forget two!
So whatever the will is supposed to evoke in Shyaam is a different story but we can be rest assured that they wont kill Arnav simply because they didn't bother making a real will for him.
Though I have to say there are so many cool things they could bring into the picture especially regarding Anjali's kid and Arhi's not so legal marriage...but that would involve some time reading the Hindu Marriage Act 1956:-(...unlikely?

It was your talk on divorce and a recall of this film Mouna Ragam that triggered this. Thing is if arnav truly thinks Khushi is a betrayer, then he will ensure that once she is out of his life, she will have no claim on him or his wealth or name in any way whatsoever. Contract marriage is already void as per explanations above. And even a pre-nup comes into picture when the couple goes in for divorce right? So a girl whom he supposedly wants no longer in his life, will be someone whom he will take divorce from and she can move court for alimony but that too is the court's discretion - no children so no child care. Besides I doubt Arnav will file for annullment, he needs TF thinking that the marriage was complete in all aspects (ofc he does not know TF knows a half truth).
So the 6 months would never have been about the baby, it would have been about the earliest time by which he can marry and separate from Khushi.

Since there are also grounds on which divorce is granted...like desertion, cruelty etc...sometimes even by filing habeas corpus petition for a person who has deserted, divorce can be obtained....
As far claiming is concerned, Indian law are diff..just by being a wife, one can't claim any wealth of husband.You can get maintenance...
One has to have property/effects in one's name and only then there is some chance of that wealth coming thru...not otherwise...
A house in joint name will require both signatures to sell off...that can be contentious issue...requiring out-of-settlement etc..in case of conflict...
So as I see it, there are two things here ... one is the will we saw, which is operable only after Arnav's death ... and since he is hero of the story, that's not gonna happen, so why beat our heads about it ... let RRR do that ;) After abortive attempts to kill Shashi and Anjali, it will be fun to see what methods he tries for Arnav, knowing Arnav is smarter than his earlier two victims - well, supposedly, anyway, but Arnav and Shyam seem to be on the same IQ level right now, so it's ok.

The symbolisms on IF are too deep for me ... I started off reading them all, but now they have gotten unintentionally hilarious! Especially the opening and closing of loops and triangles ... don't know how people have the time for such deep analysis! Somebody actually came up with Maslow's hierarchy of needs!

Y'day or day before, i was surfing and saw snippets of another SP serial..where the guy was telling the girl why she was not taking care of herself and the girl says..u r there to take care of me or soemthing like that(i think so!!) I changed the channel at this syrupy snippet...After the ARHI theeka romance...yeh sab dialogues by other couples sound so cheesy that i can't watch it for even one minute..

Firstly she will stop all her 101 ways to annoy Arnav because she will have an answer to the reason behind the wedding.
She may tell Arnav that she did not want him and Anjali to get hurt. Also, she did try to speak with him on the day of the Payash wedding but then things spiralled out of control. But he is not going to believe or Khushi being Khushi (read CVs) will again make a comment which says it all yet says nothing actually). Also they can make her go the sacrificial way yet again of holding her peace for her jiji and Di's sakes thus shielding that the Guptas knew of Shyam from Arnav.
She will think Arnav knows of the engagement so she can finally stop trying to avoid Shyam around Arnav and poke fun or annoy the hell out of that chracter and perhaps even tell him something like if u do not behave I will tell Arnavji - ofc KK may also blurt to TF that Arnav knows but maybe later not now.
Khushi will now understand arnav's insinuations about it all being for Di and perhaps attach no importance to the vibes she saw from him about any feelings for her
She will make her peace about her situation with Arnav and focus on the main culprit Shyam with full vigoure becuase that idiot has not stopped leching and also his mistake has cost her her dreams and a botched up marriage. (I now wnat to see Khushi calling him jeejaji before all and sundry.)
Since she always wanted to protect Di and Jiji, she will stay put for 6 months without making a fuss about it to Arnav or herself. Staying back at G house maybe discarded because she will need to worry about Buaji and Amma's feelings too especially after whatever happens at this wedding.

ReplyDeleteat last, we are seeing khushi's realization track. she always knew that she had dhak dhak, did not know the reason for it. (forget holi, she doesn't remember that)
now that she is back in her comfort zone AKA maika, she is slowly waking up to the fact that there is an arnav inside ASR.. yes, he still gets angry at the drop of a hat, but is becoming khushi's dream guy.. he has salman khan's muscles, taayi calls him a pretty boy, all the mohalla seems to love him, he apologizes when he hurts her BG, he buys gol gappes to pacify her, he cracks jokes with buaji, (see the moments after buaji left.. she is smiling at the joke.. and then when she sees him looking, makes an angry face, which gets him to tease her about her nose)
he impresses the other guys of the mohalla.. with both his exercise and his mechanic skills.. wow , what more does a girl dream of... an ideal husband who loves her... bitiya is all set to fall in love with him.
(she can forget that he hates her at RM, because he was forced to marry her..to save someone's life.. if he keeps looking at her like this, how will she remember the bad times?)
now, parallels ifrom flashbacks..
payals sangeet, when he said : you cant do everything that i can do.. he said something similar today.

Episode discussion and future track ... since we finally got round to it ...

She assumes he knows about Shyam being her fiance, and the Guptas' PG ... either/or.
Sandy, she will think that Arnav knows that the Guptas know Shyam ... because she will think Arnav is talking about her engagement, and he did hear her tell Anjali and Nani that her fiance was their PG, and her family fixed the engagement. So I don't think she will try to hide that from him, she will assume that's what he's talking about.
But that makes it very puzzling ... if, on the other hand she realizes that he thinks she had an affair going with Shyam, then she will be hurt, but might try to hide the fact that the Guptas knew Shyam, in order to protect Payal.
But if she thinks that Arnav is talking about her engagement, Arnav could accuse her of wanting to preserve Payal's marriage and hence the Guptas kept quiet - she would be puzzled why he doesn't bring this up, and keeps the blame for her alone. He knows she got engaged with family consent, he knows her family was hurt by the break ... why is he blaming her alone. (Of course, he's doing that because he doesn't know her family's involvement - he could even go so far as to think her engagement broke up because of her affair with Shyam - DDR)
So if Khushi starts to THINK ... a big IF ... she should start figuring out the holes in what Arnav thinks and what the truth is ...
But yes, the first step should be that she stop the 101 ways of annoying Arnav.
Second step - get very hurt that he could think so low of her ... am sure he will pepper the revelation with more spiel about aukat and gold-digging.
Third - she puts an end to any expectation of love from Arnav - third time he has led her up the garden path and dumped her cruelly with unfounded accusations. So we get a very heart-broken Khushi. And she will try to tell him why she kept quiet, it was for Anjali;s sake, but of course Arnav will not listen. I think there will be some big dhamaka at the Preetho wedding for all this to burst out.
Then - hopefully, she starts thinking, gets at the truth (and doesn't take too long over it) - and being Khushi, she determines to prove her innocence, and Shyam's treachery in front of Arnav ... and Arnav alone, ... because she still needs to protect Di from the truth.
So the playacting in front of Arnav stops ... if Shyam tries to act smart with her, she's no longer afraid to call out to Arnav for help, because she doesn't care if he sees her discomfort with RRR any more - in fact, she wants him to see it.
And I would guess the full truth then comes in front of Arnav around the 1st anniversary of the show ... and that's when the 6 months is also over, so she gets ready to leave ... he stops her, it should also be around time for Anjali to deliver, so that could be a reason for her to stay back, Alternatively, Anjali could lose her baby at the time, also forcing the same thing - Khushi has to stay back ...
and that's when Arnav's RTRW starts.
So the next month and a half will be depressing, because they have to show bitterness and anger between ArHi for Arnav's repentance to have any meaning. At the rate he's going right now, behaving like a Majnu, she will forgive him instantly ...
Will they build her realization track into this? I can't decide ... the following are already on the line up - the present MU to blow up, Khushi's heartbreak, her getting ready to leave RM for good, and also exposing RRR's truth to Arnav ... her realization might come as she's getting ready to leave and she has to stay back ...
Or she might stay back for Anjali's sake, and we get an ambulance moment for Khushi much later ... her realization postponed again, because they already have a lot to deal with right now. They're just building it up with scenes for fb's to come later ...
Thoughts?
Dia, while doing some mundane chores at home, this was exactly what i was thinking of....I was going put up this question, what will Khushi think of Arnav's accusation and what will be her reaction?

Arnav has not connected PG and Shyam and i don't think he will ..and that brings to the next point what is Khushi going to think abt Arnav's accusation...since if she was involved with Shyam thru family....the accusation of Arnav shld be manifold not restricted to K..
Will she now try to not defend so that her family and Payal are not put to any risk......That is why i felt that A's ruthlessness will increase becos she will not defend..and that will cause more agony to Arnav...now the interesting part wll be: will they show Khushi withdrawing into a shell becos she is shattered by A's accusation?

Preeto's wedding - groom side creates a problems threatens to call off wedding. Arnav sees first hand the terror, misery and helplessness of the parents for their daughter's future. Also recalls (maybe) Di's wedding fb and what it entailed. Steps in to save the day!
1. Arnav will realize how G family would have felt when Payal's rishtha broke because of him
2. Khushi will wonder if he cannot see a stranger's wedding break how can he have threatened her with his bro's broken wedding (i am hoping). OR If he stepped in and said and di these things to preserve a girls marriage from being broken, how could he have made a mockery of the same insitution in her case.
One thought when he tells her he knows of her and Shyam - Khushi will think about her sagaai with Shyam and how adversely Arnav had reacted at teh thought of her engagement to someone else. She may connect it to that chot he claims she has given him and hence he got married to her in such a brutal manner to hurt her in a way as she had hurt him.
For now, this knowing thing could end up being like Arnav saying yes for something and Khushi being the only one realizing the cross connection for the time being. I don't think Arnav was around when Anji and Nani were speaking of her PG being the fiance. he know she spoke to a Shyamji on the phone and then buaji asked her to call shyam babua when they went with aakash rishta.
You know I am going to wait to see how that promo is phrased.
It will be Shyam who will take great pleasure in telling her on how he had duped Arnav or rather let Arnav think that she and he had a relationship and that is why for Di's sake Arnav married Khushi - at a later point in time. (this would fit in with the gloating creepwa)
No chance of Khushi thinking only about Arnav's disappointment on Shyam's engagement with K, it has to be connected to Di naturally.....A has said on many occasions that he is doing this for DI

But she will think this is all Arnav's self perception and he anyway thought badly of her and has been treating her shabbily so what difference does it make. Juts chin up and live it out for the next 3 months. What does not gel here is why Khushi never wonders what she and her family will do once this marriage ends? (theek hai hone nahi waala hai but still some thoughts thr wud be gud).

My point is only when will they show her realisation of love....will it be when Arnav accuses her or later?
The tagline for her has been "mohabbat door jane na de" and so far she has not been shown having that full realisation...altho....she had taken baby steps towards love

At that time what had annoyed Arnav is that Khushi just shut out an entire event just like that and would not tell him why. Looks like she will do that again now. It is when she does that, that woh haat dhokar uske peeche padhtha hai to annoy her and trouble her

Sandy, that scene you posted - showed how much better Khushi was etched out at that time ... the mixed feelings are so clearly visible, the conscious effort to hide her hurt is there. Don't know why that is missing these days ... obviously the actress can deliver, is it a conscious story/director's ploy? Those mixed feelings need to come back!
DeleteAnd if they do take the story the same way - Khushi blocking out his accusations, they HAVE to have that Khushi back - the one who is hurt to the core, heartbroken and agonized, yet is trying her best to keep a smile on her face. The fact that she's hiding her feelings has to SHOW - the way it showed here.

:D dia, I am guessing Bitwa likes Biwi doing things for him - bathing him, feedin him, worrying for him, rubbing away his hurt, keeping awake for him but does not say it aloud. It is his style of ensuring the biwi toes the pativrata tag kyunki normally toh woh nahi kargi naah ;) If he tells her to toe the line, he gets Swami, if not he gets Rabba Ve :)

True, however innocent she is in the whole Shyam matter, she needs his support to come out of it ... needs to give in and accept his help, accept that she can't manage the Shyam problem on her own, and Arnav can. She is trying to ignore the Shyam problem, thinking that it's all in her control, she just has to ignore Shyam and he will give up - she hasn't realized the full extent of the problem yet. Just like she was confident that she could fix the generator, but had to admit defeat and Arnav had to step in.

From the 1st time, somewhere Arnav has accepted that Khushi can match him step for step. Today like u said it was about making Khushi realize that however dheet she may be, she will need Arnav's support to solve some matters - esp Shyam!
But ASR ko baat bigaadne ki aadat hai aur baadmein situation sambhaalne ke liye use hameshaa khushi ki jaroorat padhti hai.
