9/4 - 226 ... Confession Confusion

Monday 9th April

Thanks you all so much for all your wishes and prayers. I didn't want to tell you this but you all are so worried that I can't keep it from you any more. My father passed away on Sunday afternoon after a long battle with cancer. His end was peaceful, and the entire family was with him at the end, so I guess we can't hope for more. He was suffering a lot but was incredibly brave through it all, and bore everything with a smile right till the very end ... a lesson my brother and I are trying to follow.

I'm busy with all the last rites and trying to cope with the loss ... at the moment, it hasn't quite sunk in yet, so we keep remembering the good times. To all of you - enjoy and cherish the times with your parents ...

I will keep making the marker posts, and will be back as soon as I am in the mood. I did catch the episode late last night, and so did my mother ... it makes us smile, so I'm happy with the lighter mood in the current track ...

Take care, everyone, and thank you all again so much for all your wishes and prayers ...

    1. I think you are very right. Anjali will talk to Khushi and that will make her behave like an adarsh bahu. And that will irritate Arnav like hell..:-) Gonna be fun to watch.

    2. good point about bitwa and junior ASR:)

anjali advising khushi to become gopi vahu... naheeee! maybe payal or her MIL. most prob'ly there will be a lecture from the MIL to her DIL and khushi gets a lightbulb moment. woukd love to see her getting his shirt situation under control:D

    3. Sama,

Pool is magical - it enhances voice levels for only those ears that need to hear :)

      Gargi,
Yes the toothless kiddo interaction was fun. But the Beast and Prince are the same comment - a sad acceptance from Khushi and a surprised reaction from Arnav that the Prince she so lovingly described also resided within the Beast that was him was very touching. CCKKP :)

But the story looks to be on hold again after last week. Let's see

OKish episode! What I liked the kids and K weaving her story into the fairy tale, and saying it aloud for Bitwa to understand her confusion..
Loved the kid who did a deal with ASR! Yes Sama Bitwa loved the Kid- will this one remind him of his childhood???
With the letter in anjali's hand ... will she go to consult Nani or TF??
OR will she take this opportunity for her to give Ma's letter to Khushi????(SHIDDAT ALERT)
Goes in link with Sundari or Shaithan theme. Where in the letter his Ma says that from out he is hot tempered while in heart he is full of love.. And when you give him the love give it with interest... so is the “interest” is the Gopi Vahu style???

    1. Aaru I don't think so Ma's letter will ever gonna make an appearance just like the emotions behind Ma's kangan ..... Anji is just gonna ask everything is alright to Arnav i guess .... He will yell Khushi again hence bringing her out of her mourn vrat and back to 101 ways ..... Or anji asking K directly may also lead to same

i am not sure abt childhood flash ...... It maybe a Di-Chote interaction ..... Anyways nail bitting tension to what may happen has gone ..... I just hope may or june atleast they get it back for SaRuns sake ...... Not happy knowing PH's attitude toward their show once it gains pace and they get involved with new projects

  6. I kind of liked today's epi! :) I mean, I have to admit..when I saw the SBS with the kids thingy I was soo pissed, I didn't know what they were heading at.. but it kind of maintained a balance b/w ArHi's serious relation and the subtle light heartedness that they intended to show... a complete shyam-free episode..me likey! :D

anyway..the whole shaitan-sundari thing brought about a very important aspect and that is ASR's realisation about K's confusion wrt his split persona..lots of symbolism here..I loved it!! :) Shaitan takes cares of his plants..almost like he has his life in them.. ASR takes care of anjali almost like his life rests with her.. but I thought the most important point was - shaitan asking sundari a question and she waking up with it.. I dont know how far the CVs are thinking abt this..but has it got anything to do with ASR asking khushi a poignant question and she waking up to the realisation of what ASR actually wants/needs to know from her??

The message exchange thing was pretty sweet..loved ASR's interaction with the kid...he was almost Arnav there.. the fact that some reaction of another human being apart from his immediate family actually made a difference for him ... so much that he actually went on to tease him! :)

Lastly, now that anjali knows that there is a prob b/w Arnav and K's married life...what is she going to do?? Ofcourse talking directly to either of them won't help..they are going to point blank deny it.. so what was the point of involving anjali in this situation? Will she talk to either shyam/nani abt it... maybe shyam and that will give shyam more confidence to carry out his plans, hece goof up more? Or nani..so that she can plan more "delhi ma bali" or "heer-ranjha" type acts for them to bond?

If the maha epi is going to air on 28th april and acc to rumours that is when A will hurt K THE most...even physically, then makes sense that shyam will end up doing something to cement the MU...which will make A reallly angry?

OR.. remember during the diwali epi how affected A was because he lost control when he is almost abt to kiss khushi and then he ends up getting engaged to Lavanya? Something similar might happen.. anjali/nan's efforts will actually pay off and for sometime we will see A completely forgetting abt the MU, just accepting his feelings and the fact that he loves her...and does not want to see her hurt etc.. and then on the maha epi day, suddenly something will make him go like - hello..who m I kidding?? this woman almost ruined my sister's life..how can I love her?? she deserves nothing but deep and ruthless punishment.. and thus end up hurting her??

Well..whatever it is, atleast a good start of the week for me.. :)

ok...so the CVs have officially given up..instead of trying to boost up their TRPs to compete with the ongoing IPL, they have given up and are trying to put viewers off IPK until IPL gets over?? :S are they nuts??

either the rumour is false..or I am too dumb to understand this kind of marketing.. :S

    2. LOL madsie, i asked at the beginning.. why compete with IPL? nobody watches anything but IPL anyway. I wish it was all nok jhok with a difference like it was today. feel good filler episodes are always welcome, as long as they do not question our intelligence.

  8. so, finally the kids are in bed, got time to watch the episode.. and then? I liked it! of course, I like the normal nok jhok episodes. I dont feel like pulling my hair out every time khushi sings "aaj dhoop nikli suhaani.." i usually am LMAO. so today, when bitwa was shocked at 'phatti saadi chillar party", I was doing the usual. and guess what? The elders of the house knew about her new project! = she asked permission this time.. nani explained to ODB that ODG needs entertainment.. dabba service during the day, chillar party in the evening.. and yes, it is true that a house becomes much more lively when there are children running around the house.

SN1. mami telling a joke, and NQ laughingly following her.. their MIL-DIL drama is finished now?

bitwa is mad that she did not discontinue the dabba service after his direct request. I personally, am glad.. she likes the dabba service.. she owes him no favors.. she can continue, especially with naniji championing for her.

khushi, taking classes in the guestroom(..is shown on the ground floor). the unending questions of "pinky" set the tone of the scene. khushi, starting serious, is slowly shown to relax and enjoy her time. storytelling.. editing blooper there. she started with “a story”. Neha know the story(before they said the title of the story!), so ODG gave them a new one.

meanwhile, bitwa and aman are discussing damage control over the media frenzy... arre CVs, we get it.. no need to get so obvious!

in the dark, arnav bumps into khushi..(he was on the other side of the house... climbing up and down the stairs?) he starts to shout at her.. she starts to shout back(dont shout at me!).. the rage in her eyes(wow).. but controls herself. and all the masti is gone from her.. i loved how she hugged her self.. the hurt in her is devastating..(remember Bella Swan's hole in the chest?)

suddenly, she can see into arnav's garden. (remember La's guestroom had a view into arnav's poolside? )no, i'm not calling it a blooper. I am calling it Hogwarts. no..bilkul chup. raizada mansion is like that. accept it. or it will drive you nuts.

shaitan wanted to marry sundari. sundari loved rajkumar.. every night rajkumar asked her a question which woke her up.. what question? editors??

so she explains her dilemma to the eagerly listening crowd. could she have explained it so clearly to bitwa if chillar party was not present? NO. and he gets the message. feels like a monster himself.
and bitiya has a realization.. the monster and the prince are one and the same. khushi's confusion at the changing shades of arnav are beautifully portrayed via the story. she tells him of her dilemma, she tells him of her perceptions..she tells him of her pain at each time her heart broke.. when she expected the prince and got the monster.. and he gets it. Regrets it.. is in wonder that she gets him. She recognized that he is not all monster. She is in love with the prince in him.. and that is bitwa’s realization. would this honest exchange have happened without the chillerparty? I don’t think so.

so what did the monster do? killed her? ate her? the monster killed her dreams, and ate her feelings.. khushi's face shows this so perfectly. but she cannot tell the kids this. so, happy ending.

the kiddo confrontation was too cute. signed deal again!! awww. first Rs300, now quotation. bitwa's business is progressing! aww loved how he called back nikhil to eat him up.. he is starting to play! (a far cry from the kanyapooja guy. we have to give bitiya the credit for this transformation, right?)

the case of the changing handwritings.. first came one in pencil.. written sloppily by the same hand that wrote khushi's neat script. ( eagle eyes here!) then again. in "keede makode mare huve" script.. honestly!

And the messaging continues.. that line.." when my plants come here, there harpreet will be gone!" bitwa, too cute!

And again. Nikhil is running up the stairs to give shaitan the note.. (hey! I thought la’s room was level with the poolside? Magical windows :D

And Di intercepts the note. So we know nothing will happen.. she cannot think.. needs help , will ask someone else to think.. who this time? Snake? Nani? Chote?

      Eager to see tomorrow’s take.

    Beauty and the Beast!
After a long time, an episode which showed the many moods and changing expressions of Arnav. Arnav is still in search for his Khushi. Having searched in futile for her high and low, he is about to return to his fortress. Just then her voice is heard asking someone to return her book on fairy tales.
Khushi who dreamed of her Happily Ever After but has had to swallow some bitter realities. Her Prince Charming seems to keep morphing into this Beast-like person who can hurt her very core. She had spoken eons ago of being a Princess and had pointed to a helicopter carrying Arnav as that of her Prince. Today she no longer wishes to link any dreams around him and he constantly reminds her to not wallow in dream land. But for today, their lives are contextualized by the timeless fairy tale of love, separation and hope – Beauty and the Beast.
Following her voice, Arnav eventually finds her with a gang of children and wonders what new sanak the girl is up to. But instead of barging in and demanding answers, he walks away (he did ask her to stay out of his way and somewhere is a little upset that he has not seen her in 2 days) only to run intoy his family – Nani, Mami & Payal (people who had seen the poolside knife act to restore Arnav’s voice and also witnessed the beginnings of a domestic quarrel). Today they realize Arnav’s ignorance about tuition plans and enlighten him. Mami’s comment on Khushi teaching other children till she has some of her own was very cute. Mami words though sarcastic were not acidic today. She is still high on her win and one-upmanship thanks to Payal and Khushi.
It is to Nani whom Arnav turns, to gain insight into Khushi’s activities – the very same Nani who, when she came forth to help his search earlier, was turned away. But he is like a parched desert in need of rain right now. Nani informs Arnav that Khushi is tutoring the children after the end of their school and play day. )Nani is in the know from the start this time). She goes on to say that the children will be dropped home by the driver after classes. Her happiness at Khushi’s time being gainfully employed and the house echoing with children’s laughter is heartwarming. She also lets slip that Khushi being busy through the day with the Catering Service will be able to make time only in the evenings.
Arnav if he was surprised that car pool schemes have been chalked without his know-how is stunned to learn that Khushi continues the catering work. She has not stopped after their disagreement and yet she was also not present at office in the past 2 days. He wonders why she needs to do all this. Having seen women depend on the men in the house all his life, Arnav is yet to learn the independent spirit of Khushi and her need to be self-reliant. Also she has to make means for her livelihood as she cannot blindly depend on her husband of today to always provide for her. One day it will be this self reliance that will make Arnav realize how far Khushi is from being the gold digger he has accused her of being. Of course Arnav immediately writes it off as some new harebrained scheme of Khushi that she seems to pull out of thin air one after another.
Nani mentions Arnav’s irritation to be probably caused by recollections of his childhood. Really wonder what kind of a childhood this man could have had – he who is cynical today was there a time when he was carefree and fun loving as Khushi is? A hint at the future track on being given more insights into this man who grew up too soon losing his innocence?

  11. Mon - Apr 8th - Part 2

Khushi is a master story teller and gets into the mood with gusto. If the Heer Ranjha act was a synopsis of the ArHi story from the start till that ill fated MU, today’s narration by Khushi was a mini encapsulation of the ArHi story from the wedding till date. An adaptation of the classic wherein it is the Beauty herself who enjoys the luxuries of the Beast’s castle finally coming upon a red rose (Khushi likes these and she deflected the kid’s Q on whether there were thorns around it. Almost seemed like Khushi did not want to be reminded of the thorns in her life surrounding her rosy dreams). Beauty had a sense of being followed and sensed something amiss. In her quest to keep the story real, she powers off the light and plunges the room into darkness. Much like her life which at the cusp of seeing a rosy new dawn was plunged into fear inducing darkness where Khushi knows something to be amiss but knows not what it could be.
As the story continues, we are told that Beauty found the rose to be beautiful but she was very scared and knew someone was soon approaching. Khushi when she climbed to that terrace held the rose of Arnav’s care and concern, thought he would come but was fear struck to see someone else in his place. On cue, Khushi walks backwards into Arnav who has just come there. Khushi’s hysteria confuses Arnav who wonders what all the hullabaloo is about and he thinks “wait a minute – Is she yelling beast?”. Khushi switches on the light and is shocked to see Arnav. They are finally seeing each other after 3 days of hide and seek. She knows of his loathing for noise and noisy kids. She wanted to keep this silent and also stay away from him but it looked like he had managed to find her yet again. Arnav turns on Khushi who reacts as usual all set to fire off on all cylinders and given him a piece of her mind only to realize he hates her, does not wish to see or talk to her. Silently she turns around and walks away irking Arnav even more. The children step in and tell him that he will not be allowed to talk to the Beauty and scare her even more. And they shut the door on him asking him to leave. Arnav surprisingly just goes away and does not just bull doze his way into the room. Signs of some change?
Khushi starts to describe Beast in detail unknowingly sketching him in the spitting image of ASR. Her mention of hushed scary tones, love of plants, scaring and threatening the Beauty, having to eat each night with him and the Beast demanding Beauty to marry him, telling her she has to clinched this. Khushi speaks of the Beast’s love and care for his plants which see saw from afar. (Khushi can only see Arnav’s care and concern for others from afar because he has none to give her in his anger. Heartwrenching!)
Khushi speaks of a handsome Prince she sees each night in her dreams – caring, good natured, polite, sweet of word with nary a harsh bone and very caring towards Beauty. Arnav’s ears perk up hearing of her speak of dreams, Princes and TLC. When Khushi speaks of only seeing this Prince Arnav’s jaw clenches in jealousy. Khushi speaks of the Prince asking Beauty the same question each night – why did you do what you did and for which I hate you? His questions break Beauty’s dreams. Don’t Arnav’s talks of hurt, disgust, her plan, her readiness to destroy lives, cause Khushi to break out of her fragile happy bubble each time?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Mon - Apr 9th - Part 3

As she speaks on, Khushi suddenly realizes she is not speaking of Beast but Arnav. She says the Beauty / herself has never been able to comprehend understand fully that the Beast and the Prince were one and the same. Arnav who begins to turn away hearing of Khushi’s Prince and her incomprehension is jerked back to hear her mention the Prince to be the same as the Beast. Is it then him that she sees in her dreams – the caring Arnav? Khushi speaks of her bewilderment upon realizing that the 2 are but one and on how the same person can be so different. (How can one person can be so different to 2 people? One Moment a Beast and in the very Next a Charming Prince). Her confusion on how these 2 can be facets of the same person? How can someone grant you immense happiness only to cause you untold pain the very next moment? And Arnav is sure she speaks of him – He recalls pouring his heart to her during the play and later erupting in anger and being cruel. Khushi recalls him wrenching her up as she tries to collect the broken pieces of her heart resulting from his barbs and how she could not understand the reason for this transformation (pay attention to what happened after the love and before the hate Khushi and therein lies your answer). Lost in thoughts of their lives, both lose sight of the story and end up thinking of the story of their lives. Scrambling for answers to the kids, Khushi quickly winds up with a Happy Ending. Similarly Arnav will not be able to physically knowingly hurt Khushi unless he is goaded to do so in extreme conditions – still it seems very improbable he would.
Khushi’s words about The Beast and the Prince haunt Arnav. Distracted by the phone, Arnav returns to find all his plants missing and 3 kids ready to take him on. Total ROFL moment. Arnav actually stands there and reasons with one with patience. The man who at the sight of kids blew his top during the earlier pooja is more controlled today. Hearing out Nikhil, Beastji is part amused, part bemused! A man brokering deal worth millions is now asked to intervene on account of a broken pencil. Nikhil is actually all set to give pepper salt and chillies to the carnivorous Beast :D
Arnav is shocked to know he is expected to eat children as the Beast. Realizes that Beauty aka Khushi is the culprit behind this image. Very sweetly refers to Khushi as Didi in front of the child. Next thing he knows in a mini ASR style the child dishes out a document that he needs Beast to sign. The contents futher amuse Arnav who I am sure was impressed with the child’s deal making abilities. Stepping forward to give the note and noting Nikhil going back, Arnav actually has to reign in his laughter and look heavenward for some enlightenment on “yeh sab kya ho raha hai meri life main”. Khushi is always moving back from him in fear and he has never once been so amused by it. Not to be left behind, Beast sends something for Beauty and agrees to fulfill his end of the bargain on his conditions being met. Deal is struck! And that child in Arnav comes out in full force teasing a child and scaring him that why doesn’t the Beast just eat him totally enjoying this prank!

  13. Mon - Apr 9th - Part 4

Arnav is somewhere softened with the whole Beast / Prince Charming thing and is also missing Khushi’s bak bak. Note he initiates the notes – ofc ASR style ; cannot have her believing in her dreams now can he. Khushi goes bac to calling him LG and he is back to calling her KGSR – a sign things are getting back to normal between them. (Looks like Gul Khan herself dubbed in Kya likha hai bhooke shaitaan ne) (Liked how Khushi deflected the Q on saying No to the Beast’s proposal to marriage – ha that will be the day Khushi; cos for all your claims you still love him). And Khushi has to respond to his claim of her telling lies – and communications are restored!
    A”S”SR :D :D
And one more note is sent to Sundari. Nikhil is still worried about his Harpreet deal and ASR says, Plants come, Harpreet goes!!! ROFL Sundari is now totally annoyed. No stopping her retort this time. Nikhil is off with one more note and bumps into Anji. She is quite amused to know of the Beauty and the Beast parallels being drawn and KMH reads the note – what if it had been a passionate one or you assumed they wouldn’t send one with kids?
Anyways she is back to being concerned Di about ArHi fights and says somethings needs to be done to fix it!
(If this mood continues, then no wonder Khushi irks him further like they show. Need to see if her note reaches him finally or it gets swapped. What happens to the Harpreet deal?

My CCKKP - Khushi telling herself how the Beast and the Prince are but one person and Arnav surprised to hear her say this. Till then he never linked the Prince to himself.

    Side Notes:
Today's epi seemed more on reminding to watch the show, accepatnce of media censure and about starting padgaai - i.e. kaam and story from tomorrow :P

    Junior ASR was a riot!

Storwise it was all about that moment of Khushi realizing and Arnav contemplating his extreme behaviours. They seem to be setting the way for children being a bridge b/w ArHi and to some extent bringing back Arnav's innocence. Whether this turns out to be a timepass track or actually gets somewhere needs to be seen. If glimpses of the past result, it will be nice. Khushi knowing the child he was and the man he is now would be better able to understand perhaps why he is the way he is and also realize his natural tendency for mischief and ability to put a smile on people's faces.

Nani continues to syick up for Khushi and Mami has toned down her sarcasm for Khushi.

Anji missed the concerned Khushi when Arnav;s voice was lost and her attempts to sure him. She only sees the nok jhok and fights.

    1. Khushi said she has come out of the land of fairy tales and dreams and in a repeat of "Hum appke saath apna koi bhu sapna kaise jod sakte hain Arnavji: asks him how can someone, esp she who is married to him continue to stay in dreams when he constantly tells her not to. Wonder if Arnav will be hurt if that last letter lands in his hands esp if Anji hands it over - he may just lose it.

      Aaru,
I don't think Ma's letter will come here. It will thaw her too soon if it has a huge impact. Unless of course they are building to show her accepatance that depsite alll thta he has done she does not hate him.

  15. Was wondering if the bespectacled kid was a reference to Aakash and the two girls by his side, Payal and Anjali. The boy sends away the girls telling them he will confront the beast and although he was scared of him, works up the courage to strike a deal. So will we see Aakash step in to get these two together? The latest spoiler said that the new entrant will be a nine year old girl who is Aakash's friend. So will Aakash use this girl to drum some sense into his fuming brother? We'll have to wait and watch I guess.

What I found interesting was when Khushi was narrating the story and mentioned what the beast did, Arnav who is watering the plants does not look up. He was within hearing distance but he chose to ignore her words although he must have known she had used the 'beast' as a veiled reference to him. He knows what she thinks of him and seem to not care for her opinion but the minute she mentions about the handsome prince, he stops in his action and hears closely as to what she was saying. When she says that this prince is sweet natured and speaks sweetly, he immediately looks up in shock (maybe wondering if she was referring to Shyam, for Shyam is quite a glib talker and had his entire fooled including him for so long). He is suddenly all ears to find out what exactly is her relationship with this mysterious prince. She tells the kids that Beauty dreams of her prince every night and he asks her a question but the minute he asks her the question, her sleep breaks and she is wide awake. Arnav now is more curious to know what did she really mean.

Khushi, still engrossed in the story, says that she never understood something and then notices that he was staring at her. Time stands still as they gaze at each other, trying to read the other's mind. Arnav is the first one to look away. The kids ask her for a clarification on what troubled her and she says softly that the beast and the prince are the same person. At this point Arnav looks up at her sharply. He never expected this. He did not realise that she did notice the soft side he had and appreciated the goodness in him and it moved him. He may pretend that he does not care about what she thought of him, that she had the worst opinion of him but deep down he does care and it is important to him that she thinks well of him.

It hits him hard when she goes on to elaborate her confusion between the beast and the man in him. One moment he takes her to the heights of happiness and then in the next moment he dumps her in the depths of grief. Guilt floods him when he hears this, remembering his wild swings in moods. Will the parallel to their lives he just realised goad him to rethink on his judgment of her or will he shrug it off as just another fairytale which has no significance for them?

Khushi never told the kids what was the question the prince asked her every night after which she always woke up with a start. I think she herself is not aware of what the question is. I think the question the prince was asking her every night was "Will you accept me even if I am not as perfect as I seem?" The perfection breaks every time she wakes up and she forgets the question because she is confronted with the beast. The day she understands the question, she will give her answer. Yes, she will accept this man for the beast in him as much as the prince in him.

    1. Very nice Opti.

Even I noticed that Arnav cues in only when she speaks of her dreams and the Prince in them. He already knows she thinks he isa Beast. But when she spoke of the Beast and th ePrince being one - he was really surprised and his recall of his mood swings and how they affect her was quite touching.

In the original story, they say the Prince keeps asking bauty why she always refuses to marry him whereas in reality it is the Beast who proposes marriage. But the way you've put it also makes sense. And yeah she forgets the Prince on waking up because all her eyes see are the beast.

Nice catch on the bespectacled Aakash :)

    2. Did anyone feel something was missing overall though there were some nice points - guess all of u did :)

To be fair, I missed the reaction that should have happened from Arnav's end on seeing her after all this time. He had been missing her and had she been alone, he would have asked her as much don't u think? He was quite worried by the time he looked for her. They fudged over that bit very quickly as if they(CV team) did not want that conversation to happen b/w ArHi just yet. *Sigh* looks like a here now gone again feeling till IPL ends - what will they show in ME at this rate - it needs to be an unravel of some kind. Bigger MU would not make mush sense since they are now building up the small moments of affection and care with the reasons for trust also falling in.

Also where just 2 days back he was worried by her absence inteh hall and immediately thot of RRR, today he does not go there. They treied to stretch that he now is not going to be that quick in judgemens with those 2 small MUs being cleared and him realizing he judged her wrongly? But then the MU track will still continue so he should not rightfully be so soft to her just yet.

Plus that bit about Beast = Prince seems destined to go down the amnesia path eventually because otherwise he is expected to connect some dots. If she thinks of him as the Prince, did she also mean that part about her dreams? Yeah yeah he will say she is acting but then when you cook up a story you invariably infuse elements from reality in it. Arnav needs a monologue. HR, story, staircase confrontation, her care for Di when she should have none - we need to see an inner conflict

  20. Just have a couple of minutes: so here goes:

Dia - hope all is well - really am praying for your dad everyday - please let us know you are ok :D

    Episode:
    - Opti - well pointed out - the am sure that was the was the question - very well out!

    - HAA - well written and i agree - the thing that stuck in my throat was the phhuuss meeting after 2 days
    - Also what i cant understand - if ODB hears and acknowledges that the beast and the prince are one and the same for ODG and she is calling him by those names - how come he did not wonder at him being called the prince!! why did he not question that all important statement where she called him the prince charming!!!!!

    - What i liked - they handled the kids well (that too for the first time!)- they were really cute and loved the toothless ASR and his deal with the original

    - By the way did anybody feel that Anjali was extremely rude and interfering - how dare she read a letter between a husband and wife!!!

lastly - hang in there Dia and if possible just let us know you and the rest of your family are ok - stay strong

"Tu jo nahi toh soona hogaa yeh jahaan
pheeki pheeki hogi saari yeh daastaan
    tumse judi hai har khushi
    tere bina kya hai yahann

    chaahen tumhe hum, maange tumhe
    sun le dua yeh aasmaan"

    and

"Aaja saanjh hui mujhe teri fikar
    Dhundhla gayi dekh meri nazar
    aa ja na"

  22. Dia,

Sorry to hear about your dad. Even if a little expected, it is hard on the family. Time is the best healer. Glad your mum got to catch up on the episode. She needs all the diversions that time and life can afford right now!

  23. Just read your edited post, diya...don't know what to say... your words show that God has already granted you and your family the strength to cope with the loss..so I need not ask Him for the same...and I am sure that uncle must be extremely proud of you right now and with the way you are dealing with his loss and I know must be watching you from above...giving you the courage, strength and hope to move on and make him a fond part of your memories with a smile on your face..

as you said, there is no better thing than to have a peaceful death and to have your family by your side at your deathbed..I am glad it wasn't otherwise..

Having said all of this, I am sure that what I am feeling right now is only a miniscule part of what I know you must be going through... and if it helps, just want to let you know that virtual or not, we all are always there with you...to help you in whichever way we can..

we are just a blogpost away...

Take care...God bless you and your family..

Sorry to hear about your dad. Don;t know what to say, For some moments in life there are no words. just that he has reached to a place with good things and peace.

It will be the little things that you will remember,
the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem hard right now,
it will be the memories of these little things
that help to push away the pain. As you know he will be always with you thru these memories.
