19/6 - Epi 278 ... Taaron Se Baatein - ArHipathy

The first Arhi scene ... haayyeee ... total mush, total cheese and left me grinning like an idiot!

Didn't register much after that, tbh ... ;)
Briefly ...
 Shyam getting bolder, thinks he's on the home run with Khushi. Khushi scared ... Arnavji ...
NK wonders why Shyam was there at night, she almost gives it away, then recovers, but is shaken.

Shyam's goons getting antsy, they were supposed to kidnap and kill, not kidnap and babysit. They want more money.

Anjali sees Shyam and Khushi again ... leading to Arnav-Anjali rift? Because it seems highly unlikely there will be YAMU between ArHi now ... they communicate by ArHi pathy these days :"> 

Payal wants to become high society lady. Buaji's teen nuske.

Khushi and NK following Shyam ...

A strange pull there always was between Arnav and Khushi, from the very first meeting. Fights, bickering, hatred, alternating with periods when they almost but not quite, gave in to the attraction between them, and always rebounded back to hatred and bitterness ... refusing to acknowledge the pull, that strange bond, refusing to trust their hearts ... fighting it with mind and heart, fighting those feelings that always drew them together, no matter how much he tried to hate her and go away from her, no matter how much she fought the pull of her own heart and tried to refute it ...

Until the separation, when that feeling grew, that however difficult living with each other might be, but living without each other wasn't an option any more ...

And the two hearts finally gave in and dared to TRUST ... trust that pull, that bond ... TRUST it enough to give it a name ... Love.

Love that made him cling to her thoughts while sitting in captivity, love that drove her relentlessly to search for him, even putting herself into danger, love that made him hurt her to make sure no one else would, and take the danger of re-capture on himself ...

As she lost herself in dreams of what they had, what they had shared ... when he put her lost payal back on her foot so gently, when they almost kissed at Diwali, when he did kiss her by the poolside, he too dreamed of what might be, the heaven that lay ahead of them, if only they gave in to that love ... if they dared to trust that love ...

And they both woke from the dream with a start ... he called out her name and she heard him ... she looked frantically around for him ... and realised it was only her heart that had heard his call ... and they both sank back down in despair ... if only they could hear each others' voice ...

He looked up at the stars ... he knew she was looking at them too ... so he asked her, as naturally as though she was there, sitting right next to him ... or sitting even closer, inside his heart ...
'Can you hear me?'

Yes, she could hear him ... always. Her heart heard, even if her ears didn't. Her heart always heard him, it was she who refused to listen to her heart.
'Hamesha.'
He knew what she was doing.
'You're looking at the stars, aren't you?'
She nodded silently, tears in her eyes ... knowing that he was looking at them too ... The stars connected them ... especially their parents' stars ...The stars that had forged the first tenuous connection between them, when they shared their common loss, and she tried to share her faith, her trust with a man who needed it because he had lost his own.
'I'm looking at them ... your parents and mine ...'
'Our parents ...' No longer his and hers, but theirs ... because he believed her now ... her faith had made him a believer ... and he could see them too.
A small ironical, self-deprecating laugh.
'If somebody had told me this a year ago, I wouldn't have believed them. That I could believe this. But today ... today I feel it's true. They are there.'
And she laughed gently in her turn through her tears.
'I told you then also, didn't I ... it's not a question of truth or lies ... it's a question of trust ... an unshakeable trust.'

Heer Ranjha ... 'what is the truth, what is a lie, doesn't matter any more ... only one thing matters ... if you don't exist, I don't exist ...'

And they are both finally ready to believe that ... to trust in that, in their love ... if they are together, nothing else matters ... 

'You made me trust in your trust ...' to believe in your beliefs, in believe in relationships, in hope, in love ...
A small laugh again ... as he finally puts it in words ... his own fight, his own battle against love, which he's willingly lost now ... 'what have you done to me, Khushi? I tried so hard ... so very hard ... to hate you ... but I could just never manage to hate you. My own heart betrayed me, it didn't listen to me ...'
'And I tried so hard to not love you ... to not follow my heart ... but my heart too didn't listen to me ...' she in turn acknowledges her own fight ...


She closes her eyes ... he smiles ironically ...
'You know, Khushi, whenever I'm near you, I try to go away from you ... but the moment I go far from you, all I can think of is coming back close to you ...'
That's what he always tried to do ... go away from her, push her away with his harshness, his cruelty ... but the moment she left his side, he needed her back ...
'I don't need anything else, Khushi. I don't need anything.' ... except you.

She opens her eyes and smiles slightly. 'You can be near me or far away, but you're always with me, aren't you? These distances can't weaken our bond ... because we can hear each other, feel each other ...'
A small hopeful smile on his face ... yes, they can ...
'Talk to each other ... we're talking now, aren't we?'
And he nods slightly, smiling still.
" Because you're with me always ... and I will bring you back home very soon ... this I promise you ...'
And she places her hand to her heart ...'you can hear, can't you? My heart beating for you ...'
'Yes ... always ...'
Hamari dhadkanein ek ho jaati hain ... if his heart beats, so does hers ... they beat together, because they are one.  

Peace at last ... the love finally acknowledged in words ... the love, and the long hard journey to it ... the trust in that love acknowledged ... there for each other ... they belong to each other ...always.

Tying up all the scenes which were milestones in their story ... the first tryst with the stars, Holi, Heer Ranjha ... and acknowledging the times they fought, moved apart ... yet always came back together ...

Rest of the episode
Khushi sleeps at night, the lights go out, and she wakes up scared ... and remembers Arnav and the fireflies ... when he was with her, she lost her fear of darkness ... but nowhe's not there, she's scared again.

And Creepwa comes with a candle   :x Khushi shocked and appalled, and more than a little frightened ... he gives the candle, she takes it unwillingly ... as she fixes it on the table, he reaches out to touch her, and she moves back swiftly ... and VLR sees that she might have disclosed her secret to him, but she still doesn't trust him when he tries to come near her ...
He tries to reassure her, that he's not up to any mischief, but she's still scared and very nervous ...
Some smooth-talking ... he doesn't want to scare her away now, she has taken so long to come anywhere close to trusting him, even talking to him ... 
'Since our goals are the same, we should be together ...'
She's shocked ... he quickly re-phrases ... he has to treat her with kid gloves and not let his obsession overpower him and scare her away ...
'I mean ... we can help each other ... can't we?'
She seems to re-consider, he dares to step one step closer ... and try his luck again ... 'you know how I feel about you ...'
She's not happy, so he steps back with some more reassurance ... he's leaving now, but he's always there for her ... and leaves ...

Leaving Khushi trembling and very scared ... she needs to do this, but she's afraid of what she has left herself open to ... 'Arnavji ...' as though his name will give her the courage and strength she needs ...

She goes to shut the door ... and sees another shadow approach ... fortunately this time it's NK ... to her immeasurable relief ... and  he saw Shyam leave her room ... did he suspect anything?
And Khushi is so shaken, she spills out her fears ... she can't stand it any more ... every time VLR comes near, tries to touch her, she can't stand it ...

NK is puzzled ... touch her? And Khushi has to quickly retract ... but this is the third time she has voiced her hatred and disgust about Shyam ... will NK put the pieces together later and figure out what was happening? At the moment he's clueless, so she covers up ... she hates having to pretend to cooperate with Shyam, talk to him ... he's too crafty, they need to be very careful.
So NK says yes, so they have to ignore their personal dislikes and decide the way ahead ...
She knows he's right ... and she does know how to handle Shyam, much as she completely cringes to do so ...

Payash ... Akash going to a party, tells Payal she can skip ... good thing they've re-started this track, so two parallel tracks starting ... the Arhi-Anjali one and the Payash one ...
Payal asks Buaji for help :)) She refused to go for the party. Buaji tells her to come home, she will help. Methinks Payal is beyond help.

Shyam having trouble with his goons ... they were hired to kidnap and kill, they're not happy babysitting a grown man, who is becoming very troublesome ... he keeps trying to escape, and they have to keep changing hideouts ...
Good thing KN said that - we thought Bitwa was just sitting and mooning about his ladylove ...
Shyam says give them more money and keep them quiet.
Khushi overhears.
Shyam flustered, recovers ... Khushi brought kheer for Anjali. She puts it down, closes her eyes, grits her teeth and gets to work ... 'thank you for last night, for the candle ... I'm scared of the dark.'
Shyam says he will never let darkness near her.
She tells him to eat the kheer ... VLRE (yuckkk) tells her to give him shagun ... because they have started working together ... he doesn't have any nefarious intentions ...
Yeah right!!! 
And as Khushi very reluctantly takes the spoon to give him kheer, Anjali lands up ... and never have I been so glad to see KMH!!!
Anjali is not happy ... not at all. Shyam is flustered, Khushi too, but manages to cover up ... 'kheer for you, jijaji wants to taste it.'
Anjali takes the kheer with brief word of thanks to Khushi, but smiles sweetly at Shyam as she feeds him.
Anjali likes to live in her dream world, and she will not allow anyone to spoil it. Perfect husband, perfect brother, perfect family. Full stop.
Abhaas and Sanaya - fantastic acting ... made me hate Shyam and want to drag Khushi out of the room! And Anjali was actually a little creepy. 

Payal-Buaji - Buaji's teen nuske. Payal is flummoxed. Buaji never said a truer word ... Payal ka kuch nahi ho sakta! 

Khushi-NK ... VLR going to give some people money ... so NK decides to follow them. Khushi checks with Shyam ... are you going out? And Khushi is sure it's to do with Arnav and where he has been kept.
NK, when you're following someone, don't stay so close! 


Thoughts:

Long awaited R&R Shiddat granted .. talking to the stars. Even though it wasn't together, but the dialogues, the emotions were exactly what we wanted :) :">  Fabulous scene =D> Thank you, cv's!

So it does not seem that YAMU is coming, instead we will probably get the Anjali vs ArHi track.
Will Shyam get off scot-free? But how? From the spoilers, there is going to be a Shyam-Arnav fight, so Arnav will know the truth about the kidnapping, and that Shyam is behind it. Will Anjali go through some drama with her pregnancy, so that ArHi are forced to yet again postpone telling her the truth about her KP ... and Shyam uses the opportunity to sow discord between Arnav and Anjali? Thinking that Arnav-Anjali are unshakeable, so shaking Anjali's faith in Khushi will push Arnav into hating Khushi again?

Also, was happy to hear from the KN that contrary to popular belief, Arnav has not spent all his time in captivity mooning over his beloved, but has actually been troubling the kidnappers and trying to escape! :))

From the SBS/SBB, Barun is back to the shoot, so the chances of this track wrapping up soon are looking brighter and brighter! Especially as two new tracks have been started ... or rather, Payash has been revived, and Anji-ArHi started.
