The start of the last week of the kidnapping track?
Quick Update - random thoughts as I watch.
Was surprised to see Khushi so amiable towards Shyam at the start ... thought she was doing too much too soon. So I was glad to see her get back to being brusque after the office scene. But I still want her to slow down on the trust factor - although Shyam is in a hurry for sure ... already getting over-confident?
Anjali sees Khushi and Shyam going off together ... hmm.
Also liked the fact that it was Shyam chasing after Khushi ... that was the way I thought it should happen.
Khushi has met Mr Roy - yes she has, during the Payash divorce papers stunt. I'd almost forgotten that ... glad the cv's haven't ;)
And good to see the entire planning between NK and Khushi, and also how Khushi knows the phone call was a set up. Through Di and the cd's ... so Shyam already starts overplaying his hand.
And Shyam is already falling for Khushi's plan? Good, good ... hurry things up now please.
Last but not least ... dream sequence came today itself ... just as my guests walked in :)) Talk about timing! So shall re-watch and review that tomorrow!

The chess game starts ... stay one step ahead of your opponent. So Khushi asks for Shyam's help in a legal matter, some property papers ... after all, he is a lawyer ... in a surprisingly friendly tone, with a hint of 'you know my secret'. Shyam is a bit flummoxed, he didn't expect such a volte face so soon ... antennae raised. But he can't say no to Khushi, of course ... makes an excuse to Anjali and follows Khushi.
And Anjali is surprised to see them leave together ... Shyam said he was going to meet a client, and Khushi left ages ago ...? :-/
Now how will this work out? Will Shyam tell her Khushi wanted his help for some legal matter? Or that he gave her a lift? Or later, that they were hunting for Arnav together? Or ...?
'Roy's' office ... Khushi takes papers hesitantly, Shyam encourages her to sign them ... Shyam and 'Roy' exchange meaningful looks ... hence proved, Khushi was more interested in getting property in her name than in following up Arnav's whereabouts ... first test passed.
Don't think there is anything more to it than that ... Khushi has no assets she can sign over to anyone, Shyam and 'Roy' are sure as heck not buying a property in her name ... and her signature is worthless on any property deal without a POA by Arnav.
After the 'deal', visibly disturbed Khushi ... I was SO glad to see her go back to her usual brusqueness with Shyam :) ... he offers her tea, she refuses ...
He knows she has been desperately trying to find Arnav ... she just gave him a completely different motive for her desperation ... so she can actually carry on behaving exactly the same as she was earlier ... with just a few hints being dropped here and there ...
So she does ... 'I want to go home ...'
Shyam starts his act of showing complete sympathy and understanding ... not knowing this is exactly what Khushi is waiting for.
"If you go back like this, everyone will know there is something wrong ... drink the tea, you'll feel better ...'
She starts to fire back as usual ... 'you think that ...hum aapko ...'
What she's implying ... 'do you think that just because I brought you here, I'll trust you?'
He completes it for her ... 'yes, somewhere you do ... you also know only I can help you here ...'
She's quiet, as though acknowledging the truth of what he says ... little does he know how true that is!
And Shyam does wonder, from what he knew of her, he never thought she could be this angry or vengeful.
Khushi shoots a quick look at him ... she needs to convince him further ... now is the time ... but in a very Khushi-like way. So speaks more quietly ... 'he destroyed my life ... won't I be angry?'
Well, he should believe that ... she always was hot-tempered, and she has been singularly unforgiving towards Shyam all right ...
But he still wants her to tell him about the phone call ... dunno his logic there, but fortunately, DM is on Khushi's side, so she knows she needs to win his trust some more ...
'Maybe whatever is happening with Arnavji, is punishment for what he did to me ...'
That's more like Khushi, believing in fate and divine intervention.
Then shooting another look, she goes on 'I told you he's been kidnapped, but I don't know who and why ... what they want ... I can't tell anyone at home ...'
Shyam interjects ... 'any clue who they are? What they want? Do you suspect anyone?'
She doesn't ... but she's scared that if she tells anyone, they will harm Arnav, and that she can't have. She needs him back soon ... but only for the success of her plan ... she can't afford to make even one mistake right now ... even when he called, she couldn't get any clues ...
Ah, so she does tell him about the call ... Shyam relaxes further, his next test passed ... and she looks angrily at him ...
'I haven't done anything wrong ... don't look at me like that ... you're also deceiving them, so don't give me those looks ...'
He's quite shocked ... she pushes the story further ... 'that old Khushi is dead ... Arnav killed her ... I was never that way, but now I'm going to be selfish ... I have to worry about my amma and babuji and no one else ...'
He puts a sympathetic hand on her shoulder, and she allows it to sit for a while ... before finally throwing it off ... mixing the new and old Khushi ...
Whoever wrote and directed this scene, deserves applause ... both the actors as well, of course ... the writing was superb, and the actors managed to convey the underlying changes in the equation so fabulously ... Shyam slowly beginning to trust this new Khushi, Khushi retaining just enough of her usual behaviour with him, and showing the changes ever so subtly ... down to the length of time she allowed his hand on her shoulder, and the way she threw it off exactly like the old Khushi ... and her words after that ... mixing old and new beautifully, just enough to throw Shyam off, get him all confused and ready to believe her ...
'Why am I even bothering to tell you all this?! You won't understand ...'
And Shyam tries convince her ... 'you're telling me because you know I will understand ...' finally convinced that he knows the real Khushi, he understands why she's telling him this, because she can actually trust him ...
But she goes back to the old equation ... can't give him too easy a victory or he will suspect that something is wrong ... 'trust you?! You're one of the reasons for this state of mine ... you and he both. There is NO difference between you and him for me ... I hate you both!'
And Shyam is left scrambling angrily to convince her that yes, there IS a difference ... he is very different from Arnav ... he loves her, while Arnav has only given her pain and hate ... and she pretends to be actually thinking it over ... while he tries to tell her softly how much he always loved her ...
Khushi leaves ... with one backward look ... letting the hate soften into confusion ... a look that reminds Shyam of the first time they met and he looked back at her ...
And that is exactly the way I wanted it to happen ... that Khushi maneuver Shyam so cleverly that HE has to convince her to take his help, not that she ask for it like the promo ...
And Khushi is almost home and dry :)) =D>
Khushi-NK ... as they go over their plan and how well it worked, down to divine intervention taking Khushi to Anjali's room to hear the sounds of the train and temple bells that she heard on the phone with Arnav, further confirming Shyam's involvement, and realising that even the phone call was probably part of Shyam's plan ... is he purposely misleading her? And of course NK had checked Shyam's whereabouts so that Khushi could ask Anjali for the money in his hearing, and fixed the guy to take the money from Khushi ... Khushi also tells NK about the property deal she is supposed to sign ... NK worried about the papers, but Khushi knows they are false, because Mr. Roy is fake, she has met the real one. A fake Mr. Roy is not going to buy any property in Arnav's name in a hurry!
Khushi tells NK that she told Shyam everything, because anyway he knows it all, the good thing is that Shyam has started to trust her ...
And she wants to return the money to Di ...
And finally her frustration and upset spills as she barely holds her tears back ... after all this, she still has no clue about Arnav and where he is ... how long does she have to play this game with that despicable man ...
NK reassures her and tells her to keep patience ... this was just the first step ... Shyam will lead them to Arnav sooner or later ...
Shyam sits back and gloats ... his plan is working ... it took time, but finally he saw the expression on her face that he's been waiting to see for so long ... and soon he will be the one to fulfill Khushi's dreams ... Arnav will leave her life ... and he, Shyam will be the one left closest to her ...
When VLR starts gloating, it means his plans are going to crash ... VLRji, it's Khushi's plans which are working, not yours ... finally!!!
Khushi by the poolside ... looking at the stars ... remembering Arnav and their poolside memories ... payal ... almost kiss ... poolside kiss ... love and romance is very much on Bitiya's mind ...:">

And Khushi at the poolside startled looks around instantly ... he called her ... looks here and there ... till she realizes it was a dream ...

BS needs to get back into Arnav/ASR's skin soon ... he was struggling at the start of the song ... his first expression was very strange! Improved with the first grab-pull ;) ... The way the song started, it seemed more like Khushi's dream than Arnav's, with her fb's and none of his. The ending again was strange ... too abrupt ... and WT* ... he sinks down and buries his head??!!! So is Arnav just going to wait tamely to be rescued, and then do the mandatory dhishum dhishum with Shyam to save Khushi right at the end? All brawn, no brain? :( :( :( Shit!!!!
But whatever ... am a sucker for Arhi romance ... and the song itself after the start was good. Khushi looked like a dream in the blue and white, with the barely there choli and never-ending bare midriff ... this was definitely part of Arnav's dream ;)

One way or another end of this week or maybe even midweek it will end. It will be perhaps 18 days of Arnav's kidnapping in IPK time - days may fly too in narnia.

The stars are something she feels connects her to him because both of them are orphans.
I was just telling Rekha in reply to one of her comments yday about that GH scene where in her letter, she bequeaths her stars to Arnav saying they are the only thing for him because of their common loss.
I don't think she met Roy ever, at the cafe it was a person from Roy's office

Thank god khushi has kept NK in loop and Shyam convinced that Khushi hates Arnav ! yes that speaker and CDs did have its use there, as usual Anji had to give the clue and paani pherna on VRL's plans..
But one thing is the game is getting interesting and dangerous !

A thought will Mami come to know about shyam from Bauaji ?? as Khushi gave mami clue that the Balika Vidyalaya is near Bauaji place when she won't get any updates from K and NK she will start her own investigation again sitting at home ??

But wasn't it a long standing wish that they need to look up at the stars at the same time (ok u guys said together at GH with chai ki pyaali) but they looked up at the stars together and thought of each other nonetheless.

Since when did ASR become a dreamer and a mourner. And Every time Bitwa has phislofied, she is wearing a saree......WT.
So they took Hut wala curtain material stitched into a lehenga + dupatta and La's suit into a blouse. Truly a cut and stitch job.
Final SHOT...Arshad Khan biiiiiiiiiiiiig danda....The sequence should have ended with ASR Looking up closing his eyes and leaning on the wall rather than a SP bahu...Who looks down and starts crying or whatever.
Again last stanza...Was Barun trying to control his laugh or was that supposed to be a smirk.....Barun bitwa is a bit out of touch.
Good news: Rest of the sequence he managed to Bring ASR cum Arnav back.
Which means when he reports to duty, preferably after having watched an hour or two of ASR scenes to get out Sukhi out and ASR in his system........It shouldnt take him more than a day or two.
Rest of the Epi - Was Damn Good!!!
Loved Loved Abhaas & Sanaya chemistry there, they both truly rocked especially the scene where she looks one last time at him and he remembers the first time he met her...TOO GOOD!
NK scenes were well done too. As expected it was Fake Roy Lawyer.
I am personally loving the Mindgames between Shyam and Khushi........Although I really wanted them between ASR & Shyam, I am not complaining considering that ASR is sitting comfy as a Damsel, Oops I mean LORD IN DISTRESS. Oh well!!
And to those who complained that they did not want Khushi as a typical SPLUS Bahu investigating and rescuing and all, I just want to ask, whose fault is it.
Definitely not the writers or IPK Team. If ASR was around this would have been very differently handled, So I will get mad if someone starts saying Khushi is a typical SP Bahu, blah blah...
So Anjali;s tubelight starts flickering...That was the only pleasant and unexpected surprise in the show.
I loved it, happy that it was on expected lines yet delivered fantastically and sorry the dream sequence did not work for me at all.
If it was for the TRP audience, the least they could have done was show it in the friday precap.
Also, Barun was damn good with lip sync the first time around, here it was a bit off. Again, no issues cos Sukhi say ASR...Wont be easy.
Isnt his movie shoot over...Is he taking a bit of a break before he resumes shooting?

Now its been whites and gradually some blues - more of innocence, purity, loyalty, sincerity
And in that dargah scene Arnav was in black - perhaps seen as evil and even a mystery but now even he is in white

Only awkwardness is the way the seq starts and ends, more a directorial thing....what was that jerky movement when Khushi grabs Arnav from behind? I nearly jumped out of my chair....LOL

Am really looking forward to a wrap-up of the kidnapping track not just so that the story moves forward, but also (hopefully) it means less use of body doubles (BD) :-( seriously tried to focus in on expressions, as Dia suggested here, but did not work for me at all! The airport meeting, warehouse grill reunion and hut scenes were so marred by the glaringly obvious BDs compared to pre-April epis when the use of BDs were negligible.
DeleteI guess the TM song is an IPKKND signature given that they probably have an ousting of Shyam by team ARHI (post Sanaya's return from her well-deserved break after being shot on screen - any idea on how long that is expected to last?), Shayam-Anji breakdown & resolution, followed by the mysterious past to be unveiled - enuf material for IPKKND to last another year without losing steam and more than enuf reasons for multiple splits/rifts/etc, Rekha.

DeletePersonally, am of the belief any love story must not overstay its welcome.....in other lapse into the mundane....its not to mean that mundane things don't happen to people in love...its just that sometimes such powerful stories run out of steam after the tale of love has been told.....
Luckily, ARHI have a long way to go just becos their tagline...their mysterious past that they have managed to keep under wraps for so long...so i hope they have a long way to go...At the same time, after this mother of all MUs is resolved, I can't imagine ARHI Muing each other on any matter.....In fact they must have a blanket ban on MUs....they can other fights and stuff.....
There can never be any more MUs between them after this but separation is in the fate of star crossed lovers!!

Now I have been reading everyone’s take here and also watched the hut scenes and also the "I am sorry" and today the dream sequence .. This may sound crazy and weird and unacceptable but I had to put this ...
We all know that when ASR is raged and in fury he doesn’t see anything , nothing matters to him... and we know the junoon of ASR when some one hurts his Khushi.. So when ASR comes to know about Shyam being the one to kidnap and manipulate everything .. he will be unstoppable even by khushi .. so if in that junoon what if points the gun in front of shyam instead of the other way around as we all have been expecting??
And although Khushi would love arnav to do that, she would want to save him from being the murderer of his own jijaji.. and will come in between for the sake of him and his Di??
Why I want this because of what Arnav said in the I am sorry call -- that he didn’t want to hurt her, but it was beyond him , he would rather hurt her than stand seeing someone else hurting his Khushi ...
For Arnav to go on RTR it has to not only for the present hurt but each and everything he did to Khushi.. he has to know that ! and the impact will be triple fold as it was is anger that destoryed khushi before and now its the same anger which has brought her to the death bed exactly like the way he laid hay on her !

slight variation. arnav hears it all. shyam realizes how he has been duped and then points gun at khushi (his office waala if u obstruct my way i shall destroy u) and arnav gets enraged that shyam would dare an attempt to hurt his khushi. gets into a tussle with shyam and gun fires resulting in khushi getting shot - uncertainty on who it was who pressed the trigger (though mostly it would have been shyam). Guilt from both ends at her being hurt and leverage for shyam to keep mum as he may just get handed to the police
(Much like how arian gets hurt in the war of wands between dumbeldore and grindelwald and the guilt consumes dumbeldore all his life)

Shyam and Khushi met on the terrace (she is supposed toget stuck in this chakravyuha is it not). He tells her of his love yet again and in a recap of that terrace scene enumerates how he has always loved her. He goes on to gloat about how he planned and managed to remove the one obstacle in their path which was Arnav who had dared to hurt her. And Khushi gives him one tight slap and says that he does not deserve Di. Maybe she confesses how she had hoodwinked him all along only to get to Arnav (and Shyam reveals that this was the final test which Khushi failed and he now knows she is lying). He further tells her that it is all set that Arnav will die and because of those papers she signed he will convince the family that it was her plan and doing (who will believe NK against SHyam?). He will tell her he will convince everyone that he will tell the family that she trapped him and later when he refused she entrapped Arnav for money and then killed him for it. Her family will also be to blame and her sister's life will be ruined and she will be thrown out. He will remind her how he had once warned her not to try and put paid to his plans else he will destroy her which is what he will now do and all the wealth will be his (AR36K - Shyam will choose money over Khushi when he realizes he can only have one).
Khushi will be broken that despite all her efforts she is again at a crossroads wherein she has to pander to the devil or see her sister's life ruined. Plus with Arnavi dead and without her being able to clear her name, she will feel life is not worth living. So she shoves SHyam aside and tries to jump from the terrace... (her dialogue that rather than have Shyam and my name taken in one sentence I would much rather die).
Arnav in the meantime would have escaped from the KN clutches and sneaked his way to RM. For whatever reasons decides to go upto the terrace (or better still he sets up the redezvous with Khushi over the phone once he has escaped, Khushi sends NK to fetch him and they decide to meet at the terrace) .He agin witnesses a Shyam Khushi faceoff and hears all of the above and rushes in to save Khushi. He get a hold of her hand but she thinking its her delusion lets go anf Arnav has to actually see her fall down (ecall of the terrace suicide scene).
Then Shyam ki dhulaai. NK steps in and reminds Arnav how Khushi needs him. NK hopefully would have captured all this on the camcorder.
This leaves scope for NK-Arnav-Khushi teaming up against Shyam (who will be shaken up that Arnav and NK saw him and will lie low for a while). Arnav convinces her that he will pretend to hate her before Shyam whereas in reality all will be well.
Khushi is in the hospital and Arnav starts his repentance. And keep haring from every family memebr how Khushi was out of her mind with worry when he was away adding to his already heavy burden of guilt. And just as Khushi is all ready to leave the hospital, she realizes he has been hiding away (despit their agreement to keep a MU pretense) and seeks him out (peetal ka bartan).
Things will trudge along until Shyam realizes that Arnav and Khushi are on the same team and realizes that even the glimmer of hope that he had about Khushi and him uniting is gone. Then he will break open the nature of their marriage to the family (recall Grihapravesh morning) and ANji will throw a tantrum and say Khushi cannot be the bahu and so forth...unless Arnav marries her with full ceremony. And just like that she will again shoot down Shyam's plans. ANd at this time, Mami and Nani find out about the true reason for the forced wedding.
So howzzat? Total filmy na?

DeleteHe needs to be smuggled in because of the obvious state he will be in - so think back door up the fire stairs onto terrace kinds and then surprise the family next morning - but my scenes rarely ever come true. I was just looking for an option where Khushi does not get shot.
This way the whole family wants to give love birds time and Arnav will of course sneak i or stay guard (presumably to ensure she does not meet VLR) and perpetual KMH di will finally arise and shine and thwat hubby's plans and keep dragging him home...

Terrace because it is in that godforsaken place that teh moment has embedded itself in ASR's mind and I want it to unthaw and a new more powerful moment to embed itself in his mind there.
Besides terrace is VLR's waterloo wrt ArHi. and of course DM mandir for Anji.
Sandy loved your version of the climax as to how the whole terrace confrontation will work out.. Filmy but logical. And let me add little more of that drama and cheese to it . Remember in one of our discussion we said that the suicide thing has to play out.. Khushi might egg shyam the same way to say out the truth. So am all for it except a little change . Khushi might stand on the parapet as you said and Bitwa would be hearing the whole confrontation from BG or he might in between the confrontation.. In doing so K might slip but hang on to the parapet.. Bitwa already anticipating that when Khushi is all set she would jump runs down. Shyam gives his hand to Khushi.. Instead of taking the creeps hand she leaves the parapet and falls.. thus playing out that I will die before my name is associated with shyam. In doing so she might hit her head to the wall and then falls down in the arms of our ODB just as always she has. Just this time bruised… thus having a new beginning. Only that the RTR of ODB will be just for MUing her .

That will make his RTR a hell .. and I would love to see that .. Sadist that I am .. Because I know that BS will take it to different level if it is executed well as they have been doing with Khushi at present .. crisp tight story telling ..

Some thoughts:
ReplyDeleteKhushi's FBs will not be shown to complete her affirmation of her acceptance of love now. See they did not even show Arnav's yet. They are building up the suspense for whether he will believe her or not when he realizes how she has duped SHyam to reach him.
And then there will be some more guessing on whether she will forgive him or not because he "pretended" to MU her a second time.
I have this feeling that in the SHyam Khushi Arnav confrontatin is where like today with FBs they will make Arnav recount it all after making shyam confess it all and then see Shyam crumble! ANd when he realizes na paisa na Khushi then he will surely lose it!
They are building up teh suspense well. Just hope they keep it paced well and then when it all breaks, the wait would have been worth it.

If i remember correctly......at some point, they intended to show A going all out to win Khushi's love.. However, since they slipped up on Khushi's realisation, they could not hasten that track.
Then came the "peetal ka bartan" moment when everyone claimed that bitwa will not be able to forgive himself an khushi will show him the way
As u see, there are contradictory positions....only thing common is RTR....sense of regret for Arnav.....
So, i am equally curious how will Gul's vision actually play out?

Arnav's when he has erred in the past and Khushi got hurt, he has also cared for Khushi -
after guest house making sure she got home
after nainital - making sure she had medicine and rest
when she hurt her finger - rush to bandage
on havan - ready to call for doc when she fainted
and perhaps the cvs plan the wooing to be inbuilt part of the repentance
He comes back he recalls how she cared for him that night and then every family member takes turns speaking of how she had a nightmare, how she made sugar free jalebis, watered his plants, shed innumerable tears and pine away for him. Each time he hears something it pricks him and he makes a gesture of affection - maybe gets jalebis delivered, sends her red roses, gets stars hung above he hospital bed, sends DM murthi to hospital, hangs up the wind chimes by her window so she is cheered by thier noise.
She senses his presence behind it all but he is rarely there to meet her. He stays by her side at night as she is afraid of the dark but then leaves before she wakes up. He goes back to maybe pushing back a strand of hair of holding her hand only when she is asleep.
Bittersweet moments!
But all this while the guilt is weighing him down more and more until one fine day it consumes him and he crumbles. Maybe Khushi has a lapse and is critical and the ever present fear of losing her surfaces. And then the only recourse is to go and fight with god (not get belief in god) but rather go and quetion DM on how she can claim the life of a girl who has always had such staunch belief in her. How she can write such a fate for a girl who believed every step in her life was written by her DM, how she can punish a girl as innocent as Khushi...
..and Khushi ever god's favoured child reaches the temple (aided by ample hints from DM) and tells him that her life is not a punishment but a blessing indeed for though she thought DM stood mute watching her being exploited by a raakshas, this raakshas has actually become her very life breath without whom she cannot live.
and the intense one will just be a single epi of go to the middle of the road someplace and completely break down when she is hurt and critical.
There is a one in a million chance this will happens. CVs will as usual just surprise us...

what an episode...!!!Nk-khushi together in the plan...good... fake Mr.Roy...khushi a step ahead of the creep...loved the way khushi come to know about Arnav phone call truth...i am repeating Krish words her "khushi is as good an actress as Sanaya" but somewhere i feel Shyam may come to know all this is a plan before the final A-K-S final showdown...we will have to wait and see how CVs have planned it...whichever way - hope it happens soon now....

scene started with Khushi missing Arnav...bitwa feel it - his beloved wife remembering him...
Arnav automatically rise up from within ASR...to me the dream seq appeared as their journey till date - they met...feel something for each other...came so close on Diwali...then separated(first time khushi move away in song)...again came close on Payaash wedding when Arnav realized his love and was about to confess but just then terrace scene happened and Arhi again separated(kyun tune mujhe aisa khwaab dikhaya jo haqeeqat mein usse todna tha - lyrics were so apt from Arnav POV at that moment...also khushi didnt move away this time she disappeared from Arnav's view bcoz of MU parda)...but as soon as khushi learnt the reason for marriage - saw his hurt...she came running to him just like she came to him at airport and, after his KN, at the first warehouse - hugs and hut scene happened....but then again they are separated(as they stand now...dying to be with each other) - khushi away at RM and Arnav at KN place...
bitwa returns to his senses...call out her name which bitiya(already lost in their past romantic close moments) hears/feel and run around to see where it came from...the scene ends from where it started....
i know it was not perfect(just for TRPs maybe) but still it was good...

On SI expressions....this is my take for the two scenarios
In the hut scene she couldn't act coy....they were hardly sharing that kind of vibes and neither were they in that state in their relationship....IMO it was a cross between shyness and a feeling that perhaps it was not the right time......if seen like that, to me SI potrayed the right exp..Now if the director wanted to convey something else, i am not then sure
As for today, if what Ayesha says was to be conveyed.....then again SI has done the job....becos she portrayed pretty much the significant points in their relationship....lets also not forget, it was Arnav's dream...maybe thats how he wanted Khushi to respond to him..

DeleteThe dream seq did not realy work for me but after raeding your take, I will watch again with this in mind.
What worked in the dream seq for me, the colour blue and white for Khushi. Blue colour of sky also reflected by water (read ocean). Blue is seen as trustworthy, dependeble and committed. As we have all said and agreed that A now trusts K symbolising blue... Bitwa depends on bitiya in more ways than one, emotionally he is completely dependent on her, he always was dependent on her emotionally. Committment K's to A and A's to K. because it's A's dream it's his committment to her.
Blue is also the colour of throat chakra which encourages spiritual communication. A and K have always felt an unexplained pull towards each other and the pull has grown with time so much so that K could also understand his unsaid words when he lost his speech. He only has to call her name and she can hear him....
In India, lord krishna is also often depicted in blue (blue skin) and as we have discussed over the weekend K and A will interchange their roles as Krishna and Arjuna. When he is on his RTR it will be Khushi krishna) showing him the way.
White - colour of purity an cleanliness. White also evokes purification of thoughts and enables fresh belongings. Khushi in part white as she neverMUed Arnav but could not understand his love. She understands it now much better than before. He is moving from being shaitan to rajkumar very rapidly. Arnav in all white, he MUed khushi and although he does not know the enormity of his actions he has started the cleansing process. He is more willing to tust khushi, more will to listen to her, more willing to understand her. White also is the colour of peace.... finding peace and solace in each others arms.
Jaya agree with you that SI's expressions in sexy sensual scenes are a bit off. She looks a bit uncomfy. I guess the story is slowing inching towards romance phase and hopefully she will pull it off as beautifully as she pulls off the intense and emotional scenes.

dnt think Sanaya was uncomfy...actually i feel BS SI are quite comfortable with each other...thats why such a mindblowing onscreen chemistry between the two...they did that Blackmail chipkofying scene so perfectly - gave me more sensual feeling then even the hut scene....

Whereas Shyam when he started was all white and light pastel shades but he is now wearing black or dark shades.

- don't have the time today to read through all post - will do so at easy - only want to comment on Shwetha post - Yes ODG is acting like a typical SP bahu (though today i am happy that she has her comrade along) - and ODB is the damsel in distress here - but no i do not agree that it is BS's fault - i for one cannot let the PH and CV off the hook here - see ODB&G are just actors - they do as they are told - its the CV that create the 'story' - plus they are all media people - so its not like they did not know how long ODB's movie would take or what they need to do with this break - they gave him permission to leave - he did not go Awol! Now it was the CV's job to show - whatever bits they had of ODB doing something useful rather than putting him to use only to satisfy the fan-girls with the hut scene, the dance, the dreams etc - i mean ODB was there for shoots - so why not show his side of the story (his bits) rather than the song and dance bit - My point being - we really cant blame BS for this - its not like he refused to do shots that were 'logical!'
it is the reprehensibility of the PH to create the story and the responsibility of the actors to deliver!
Aaru - the way the CV are surprising us with logic and 'thinking' - will not be surprised if your scenario comes true - that ODB accidentily shoots ODG - that would start and complete the RTR as it would nearly kill the poor boy! + if they want to expose Shyam- - this will act as a very good diversion for him to run away when ODB is too fixated with ODG (but then he will be stuck on her health irrespective)

Plus in my first imporession I forgot the KN phone was stuck with him. Now hope that it is still with him as I understood after the rewatch.
They have a plan and they just had to get that BS SI scene in today. So then what are th planning for the rest of this week? Fri is 22nd June.
But yeah like u said, IPK team suddenly seems to have grown brains and inherited some accelerators. I sincerely hope they are overly sesitive to ensure no laks so the big dhamaak is not diluted and also that the dhamaaka is a real big one.

Anji wondering about VLR and K now that's a first for Anji to think otherwise about her husband. Is it the foundation for next track - Anji MUs K and her hubby? Shyam then cooks a story that K led him on, A of course stands with K and hence a rift between the siblings. A and K walk out of RM? thereby Arnav's asking akash to take care of di and khushi (read as di's khushi)?
K and VLR scene was briliant.
Khushi re-itrating that she hates both of them. I almost believed her that she is playing games not just with shyam but also with her hubby. Of course we all are safe in the knowledge that she is not playing game with A. The way K tells VLR about A's phone call was beautifully woven into the convesation. It flowed very well. Conveys him how desparately she wants to find him for the success of her plan (plan - romance :)) Abhaas was excellent in this scene and sanaya was very good too.
She tells VLR ki koi bhi KN ho sakta hai and look of satisfacion of VLR's face happy in the knowledge that he is not on her radar will make him all the more over confident I think.
'mar gai woh khushi' reference to death again is it just metaphoricl or will she surely get shot? this has been discussed at lengths in R&R and generaly evryone feels she will get hurt in some way or the other or is it just that the naive child like, innocent khushi is no more and a smart, shrewd and hoodwinking khushi has emerged? Need to re-watch....
Happy that K brings NK up to speed.

Her stance a reminder of Arnav whom she once cornered by this very pool in a similar way asking if he got her the red bangles. He once told her she did not have the brains to be an ASR but to rescue her mate, she has begun to use mind games and somewhere that innocent sweet Khushi has changed (died).
Looking up to see a lone star twinkling, stars whom she had once told him were their parents specifically his mother - was she seeking reassurance that all will be fine? (the last 2 FBs I think she has never had but all 3 today were more from how she had felt in each of these situations, her feelings, her emotions)
Knees bent, hands clasped sat a one proud man who believed he wrote his detiny. Trapped and alone, he looks up into the darkness as if hearing her heart call out to him. (There were seemingly 3 stars; the bulbs; in the bak but he was shown against just the one which was 4rd from the right) She once told him she would never be like him as she had a heart but increasingly emotions have been having a say in his actions. The ASR within Arnav is gradually opening his arms wide to embrace Khushi.
Letting his mind drift, he immediately thinks of the angel in his life - Khushi the ever smiling enchantress. And as the strains of the song begin, he begins to walk towards her and she in return for the first time walks towards him too. They have begun to walk towards each other ("Ek ore badhne lagain hain" yeh Ishazaade)

Where he stood opposing her at a tangent, he has now moved to face her. Their paths are merging and they stand facing each other having traversed travails of love

And he pulls her to himself with a sense of 'haq'. Theie story is long and has seen many turs, few words alone would not do them justice

He acknowledges that they were forced apart by circumstances when they have always belonged with each other. He moves around only to come back to her as if saying his life revolves around her, as if saying she is his life force and anchor. He left her in Lucknow only to come back to her in Delhi.

And Arnav hesitatingly holds her hand and turns to face her as if he can hardly believe his eyes; that she came for him.

And Khushi who has come loking for him speaks of their love story. Difficult yes but their story of love nonetheless. And 2 lovers reunited after a long time find solace in each others arms. They hold on tightly to each other afriad that if they let go, the tides will push them apart.

Hearing Khushi speak of her love brings a smile to Arnav's face. His happiness erupts and he speaks of the numerous shared moments that are only theirs.

He had had to let her go afte he met her when teh goons caught up but it also seems that son once they meet and confess their love for each other, life will again throw a cause for separation their way...
As she leaves, gradually his breath stops and Arnav wakes up from his beautiful dream. Looks for her and as he cannot find her frantically calls out "Khushi"
and she hears him across the void as if he had called from the very depths she was trying to delve into..
And 2 hearts that beat only for the other can only feel the helplessness and pangs of separations even more keenly.....

Reminded me of bitiya’s nightmare where she is awoken with him calling for her.
I felt there is a difference in ASR’s tone as he calls out her name in both the scenes.
In the nightmare, it was as if he was still hurting from the betrayal, a kind of “ Khushi, why did U do this to me?”
Here it was like “Khushi, don’t leave me again”
So I hope the kidnap track is about to be wound up with both their dreams at the two ends.
The first one was bitiya’s realization and the second one was bitwa’s.

Loved your take on the dream seq. although it did not work for me in the first instance after reading ur and ayesha's take on it I like it now.... Visualising their walk through the life right from the begining as the song progresses. Simply beautiful. A song dedication to Arhi.....

There was a lot of pain in the epi.
My first thought- she knows where she is going. She is taking a painful step forward.

Bitwa, by now I hope you know this about her too.

They would have promoed it if it was so. Please don’t write it off like we wrote off the hut scene at first sight.
After a long time, I felt the pain in Arhi.
I couldn’t help asking, ”god, why is there so much pain in this love story? Kyun dard hain itna….?”
This is the first time they have concentrated more on Arnav’s pain.
And there is only love there now, no betrayal.

Deletebtw girls, I think I am one of the few for whom this dream sequence worked BIGTIME! :P hook, line and sinker.. :P :) hehe.. actually I didn't think there was anything wrong with Arnav's/ASR's/Barun's expressions... I think that uptil now, that is, before the hut scene..we have seen just his internal fight..he is atttracted towards this woman, but something is always stopping him..but now, we see his uninhibited, full fledged, accepted love for her.. obviously, people change even more when they get their love reciprocated by their lover..and when they are with their lover (and she is his wife).. his changed expressions didn't bother me much..infact I loved them.. :) as far as Sanaya's shyness is considered..well, she doesnt exactly fall in those shy categories like Payal..I mean, she is more of the bindaas type..plus now that she has accepted her love AND that she has got that reciprocated from him..I dont think she is going to be shy..infact far from it..:) like in her dream..she is going to be playful..she knows how to handle him..and he know that she know how to handle him too.. :) :)

thank you sooo much sandy!! :) :) well, its not even a month since I came to India..I came to India on 21st may, got engaged on 30th may..and my fiance left for Germany on 7th june.. so was busy till then..and also a little bit after.. :) I fell sick in b/w coz of weather change.. :P I mean, I landed from 12 degrees to 38 degrees .. :P haha.. my poor body couldnt handle it.. lol! so I was totally busy until the last week.. but now m fine..and totally hooked back to IPK.. :)

arnav is not worried about his fate, he is not worried about his di (the one whom he lived for, said even as recently as the road confrontation!) he is only worried of his khushi. yes, it was the lovebirds' longing that they tried to picturise .we had khushi at their poolside, remembering the sequence of his attraction to her... finally sifting those memories (from the many of him abusing her).. looking up at the stars..his reverence, his caress, his kiss..and thinking.. where are you?... and here he is.. lost in memories of her.. dreaming of her even when he's awake..the song describing how much he misses her.. and she disappears time and again.. and his intense longing vocalized in a shot.. that she hears, across the universe.. aakhir dil ki baat, dil ko pata hota hain.

another thing that hit me.. khushi got the will signed by ASR for sham.. why? in exchange for sham's revelation... if khushi was so hell bent on revenge at that time, why would she ask sham to tell the truth? therein lies the chink in her revenge story to sham... now that he has blinkers on, he will not think back that far!
jaya even if shyaam thinks that far khushi has covered her ground .... she said shyaam she hates arnav why .... cause even after trying so hard he never tried to understand her.

hmm, good point and if Shyam is a samrt villain that point will come back to him and Khushi will need a good rejoinder to pass that test - OR - it does come up and he says that her revenge is in contradiction to her need for sign and she manages it somehow and that is where the promo of apology plays out.
Deluded shyam can be shown to forget i but the real fun will be if he recalls it and khushi passes that test too
sama, that was after he left.. sham has firsthand knowledge of how heartbroken she was when arnav left to go into the airport.. if khushi was planning on hoodwinking arnav, she would not be that sad.... but it is a good thing that the CVs never have used logic.. so i can assume that shyam will never realize her deception, unless at some crucial final moment of the confrontation. err, hope so!

when they showed Khushi going all out now for badla.....u r right they have not spent much time on that thot process for Shyam on why she was keen to get him to tell the truth....
While ur point is right, the situation rings hollow but what i bought in to was the phrase of Khushi....on "Woh hamein samajh nahin paye".....meaning that I never wanted to be misunderstood, or be in this position, being the gud girl, i was ready to accept my fate but i have only faced insults along the way forcing me to re-think.
Having said, it is a bit tenuous and anyone can question this volte-face but i guess the story had to move some way and the CVs have made a brave attempt to provide some ans, so i am cutting slack.

I really like your question, because now I know why I could see mostly only Barun in the hut scene and y’day’s teri- Meri.
But Sanaya is a wonderful actress and I am sure she will be comfortable with these scenes.
I think we have to think that the director wants Khushi to act like this. After all she is only 18 years old and even for that age she is very innocent. She is not yet fully aware of that feeling of sensuality. And bitwa knows this.
(‘Jiski bansuri ki dhun sun mujhe jawaan hone ka ehsaas hua, jiski sirf ek nazar se mujhe khud ke hone ka ehsaas hua’- sheer poetry in HR scene- He knows she is just getting there!)
Every time there has been physical proximity between the two, she is the first one to break the spell. In fact, he just freezes during those moments.(The bindi- kiss, recliner scene, first shared smile etc.)
I like this thought even more when I remember this is bitwa’s dream sequence and he is remembering every minute detail of her, even how she would react. This ‘kidnap’ has done you a lot of good, bitwa.
Of course, as usual you have your jijaji to thank for this. Every time he tries to get you apart, you get one step closer!

Next time I will watch teri meri keeping this in mind- Maybe I will see less of the pain!
Frankly, no one has seen ASR dreaming before, poor guy never gets a chance to mouth any of his thoughts, he is told he has be always in ASR mode, even in love, even when in doubt, even when insecure, even when in pain, even when in sweat, even when in captivity....tall order that!!
DeleteSo, anytime, ASR smiles or doesn't have that famous smirk, we think we are seeing BS/Sukhi...In a way, IMO, not fair to the actor BS, who has always brought the character of ASR alive on screen(majorly...)
Lets accept we have not had the chance of seeing an ASR in love (we saw glimpses but circumstances were diff, that was an ASR, invincible but this ASR is not that; he has a had hard knock....How will this ASR be the same in love....there are bound to be changes and when the romance comes on, believe me, u will also have cringe moments becos all of us may not buy into that persona....
Its not that our expectations are wrong or unfair but just that the character ASR is one of a kind. So unless, we write scenes, we will always find the result a bit short on expectations...POOR GUY!!
