How come the blood didn't clot for so long?
Loved the way Khushi found out the blood groups of Shyam and Arnav ... well done, girl!
Not so well done - Khushi was very reckless in going straight to Shyam and accusing him ... damn good thing it wasn't Shyam after all. :)) DM is sure looking out for her!
I love NK!!! Now he shows why he's back! And liked the way he didn't believe Khushi immediately about Shyam ... but he completely believed her about Arnav being kidnapped.
So next phase - Khushi Bond and NK Bond ... :))

Carry over from yesterday where Khushi looks at the stain on Shyam's foot, looks at Devi Maiyya's chunri ... DM sitting prominently in the background behind Khushi ... yes, dear, this is a sign, now follow up, there's a good girl ... never let it be said I don't look after my children :) Shyam gets a phone call and moves away ... which means he doesn't get DM's prasad ... symbolism duly noted ... :)
NK decides to wear Indian for his date ...
Khushi paces by the poolside and puzzles ... was that blood on the shoe? But Shyam didn't look like he was hurt? Is this something to do with Arnav? Sees DM's prasad ... DM, is this your sign? Yes, it is ... so she needs to investigate some more ...
Hey bhagwan ... itna logicwa in one episode?
She calls a lab, presumably to figure out what sample she needs, goes to collect it (thank God logic disappeared for a moment in the inexplicable failure of blood to clot for so long on the shoe, otherwise I would have been worried the cv's had changed :)) ) ... has a small run in with Creepwa on the way out ... but she's learning his own tricks to deal with him - attack is the best form of defense. 'I don't like you ... that's why I look uncomfortable around you ... haven't you got the message yet?'
Takes sample to lab, confirms first that it is blood, then confirms the blood type ...O negative.
Then goes back home and has sweet conversation with Anjali, not losing sight of her mission for a minute - what is your blood group, Di? And what is Jijaji's? And what is Arnav's?
Anjali and Shyam are AB positive ... universal recipients ... typical of their character - the eternal spongers :)
Arnav is O negative - universal donor ... typical of his character too. Well done, cv's =D>
Anjali's comment - you're becoming more and more like Arnav :) and him :( ... in terms of caring for Anjali ... she was always that way. In terms of using her dimaag more ... yep, she is ...
Khushi more and more distressed - that is Arnav's blood on Shyam's shoe? And suspicious ... so Shyam is responsible? Starts joining all the dots together ... Shyam telling her to get the signatures, saying he will take Arnav's place ... remembers his confidence that Arnav will not be calling her in a hurry ... and finally reaches the right conclusion ... Shyam is the one responsible.
And she goes to confront him right away ...
I felt that was a bit out of place for the new thinking, cautious Khushi ... it was put in to bring NK into the picture quickly ... a sign that they are speeding up the track now.
Her accusations - I know it all, you're behind all this, you have the papers, you're responsible for kidnapping Arnav ... and Arnav's blood is on your shoes ...
Thankfully DM is still looking out for Khushi ... it's not Shyam at all, it's NK in borrowed clothes ... and shoes.
Lots of explanations to give NK - papers, kidnapped Arnav and blood on shoes ... so NK will get most of the picture now. Again indicating the final stage is near ...
And Khushi is aghast ... she spilled the beans ... she runs away ... leaving NK flabbergasted ...
And NK (bless him) follows up instantly ... why did you say all that?
He went to borrow Shyam's clothes ... but that's not the point, what were you saying? I heard everything you said ...
She tries to deny it, but he catches her immediately ... you can't lie ... what was that about Arnav's kidnapping?
She tries to brush it off, but he's not having it ... loved this new assertive NK ... no, you have to tell me the truth.
And Khushi has to tell him ...
Arnav has been kidnapped ... Mami, the CCTV footage ...
He doesn't believe Shyam could be behind it ... no, impossible!
She tries to convince him, but he's very, very sceptical ... ridiculous! Everyone loves and respects Jijaji ... he's a very nice man!
A trailor of what's to come ... Khushi is going to have a very tough time convincing the family ... and in fact, when put into words, it does sound unbelievable that a respected, well-loved member of the family could be a kidnapper and a criminal. Only Arnav's word is going to be the clincher ... although if NK is in at the climax, he will help of course ... especially if he sees Creepwa in action.
So Khushi tells him everything .. the papers, getting Arnav's signatures ... she can't tell him why she got Arnav's signatures, but she does tell him she hid the papers, and is sure Shyam has somehow got them now ... he's stopped asking her for them completely ... her abortive trip to follow Shyam, the threats - phone calls, falling planks ... the trip to the warehouse with Mami (ah, forgot, Mami has also actually seen Arnav held captive, it's not just Khushi's word) ... and finally the bloodstain on Shyam's shoe ... which she just got tested.
And Khushi sees that NK is actually wearing the bloodstained shoes ...
NK tries to calm her down ... she's almost going hysterical ... ok, sit, relax ... there has to be an explanation ... the phone calls may have happened, maybe you're right and Arnav may have been kidnapped ...
He gets a glare and rephrases quickly ... ok, Arnav has been kidnapped ... but to say Jiju is involved ... that's impossible!
And he does make sense as he tries to reason with her ... the blood group could be the same, that doesn't mean it's Arnav's blood, maybe you made a mistake ...
But she's adamant ... no, she hasn't made any mistake ... she knows Shyam, he's a liar and a cheat and he's a bad man ... and will always remain bad ...
Chalo, one big step - she has finally accepted that Shyam is a villain through and through ... no more chances for him ... :)
NK still argues ... how can I accept that Jiju could do such a thing?
She argues back ... the papers, the blood on the shoes ... then stops ... yes, it's not such conclusive evidence at all, is it? But she knows ... this time, she just knows it is Shyam's work, whether NK believes it or not!
And NK is surprised at her vehemence and her upset ... but he still can't accept that Shyam could do such a thing.
And she's desperate ... you know me, right? You know I always tell the truth ... I'm telling you it is Shyam ... you don't know the real him, the way I do ... you still think I'm telling lies ...
He doesn't think she's telling lies, but what she's saying is just too fantastic to believe ...
All right, I know you don't believe me ... then we'll prove it ...
And he stares back at her as she outlines her plan ...
I really liked the NK-Khushi scene ... NK's expressions were bang on, as were his reactions especially the last expression as he stares at Khushi, and a hint of determination enters his face ...okay, let's go, let's do this ...
And Sanaya was bang on as always ... the desperation, the worry, the panic almost reaching a point of hysteria ... she has to convince NK at all costs ... she needs help in this ... Again Sanaya seems to bring out the best in all her co-stars - her individual scenes with each and every actor are brilliant!
Thoughts:
Episode was very good, they seem to be nearing the end of the kidnapping track, so Khushi's detective-giri has sped up straight from first gear into fourth. She went from starting to suspect Shyam to being absolutely sure it had to be him all in one episode ... liked the way she connected all the dots we had noted earlier ... Shyam's suddenly increased boldness, his talking about taking Arnav's place, his assurance that Arnav will not be calling her in the near future ...
Out of place - her impetuosity and hurry to confront Shyam ... in place for the old trusting Khushi, but out of place for the new, thinking, cautious Khushi.
Liked that she told NK everything, including about the papers and that she had gotten Arnav's signature ... so between Mami, NK and Arnav, the whole picture is laid out.
Loved NK's reaction - Mami took her time to accept that Arnav had been kidnapped, and did some investigation of her own to confirm before siding Khushi ... she needed proof on the kidnapping. NK believed that part, after some hesitation, but couldn't believe the part about Shyam ... he needs proof on that one.
Will Mami be in the secret about Shyam too? Missed Mami today, but at the rate the story is moving, I guess there was simply no time to give her on screen ... yesterday was all about Shyam unmasking, today was about Khushi suspecting Shyam and getting NK into the picture ..
Completely random aside ... I like the little pouch Khushi uses as a bag these days, small and practical.
Also random ... maybe not so random ... Sanaya is probably hoping Khushi does get shot :) - Sanaya needs a break! After being onscreen and holding the show together almost singlehandedly for the last month. Mami helped in parts, now NK will, but the common denominator is Khushi, through and through ... she hasn't had a single break. Especially after the Bubbly and MM tracks and the Payash issues were also dropped as fillers. During the last couple of weeks, Khushi has been on screen almost 18-20 minutes out of the 22. Sanaya must be exhausted!

DeleteWhen the truth comes out before the family and then Mami and Akash realize that Payal knew of the truth yet hid it, she is in for one big tongue lashing. Khushi was worried about Anjali but Payal could have confided in Akash. That haldi scene of no secrets will come into play.
But with the way they exited Bubli I am not sure if they will also forgive her citing she only had the Raizada family wellbeing in her mind.
Payals' position is the strangest...her guilt the greatest in some ways....

Mami is for now totally unaware but has seen teh concern and worry Khushi has for Arnav
NK is the first one to know Khushi suspects Shyam behind Arnav's disappearance. Does Shyam manage to fudge it up for NK and is that why Khushi ends up apologizing to Shyam?
Nani, Anji and NK tell Khushi not to lie when she is incapable of it. But chances are all of them will react the same way to the Shyam truth like NK did today.
It is only Arnav who can corroborate her truth about Shyam to the family.
Its so true of life too....people who have earned trust will will rarely lose it unless it is a SLAM BANG moment

He and Mami are easily accepting of Arnav being kidnapped but linking Shyam to it seems too far fetched for NK because that is the trust Shyam has earned over the years. U know what, if there is a Shyam Khushi Arnav confrontation that Mami and NK witness then they too will believe however shocked they maybe. Else like I said, Arnav's word about Shyam's kameenapan will be needed to validate Khushi's claim to the family.
Alternatively, buaji or Garima and Payal need to speak up but again it is just their word and perhaps the name SHyam as their PG. Somewhat like Mami thinking about Payal being a bhoot but needing evidence to finally draw her conclusions in the Payal bubbly matter.

Both ODB's and ODG's jijis have been kept in the dark by their siblings.
They are definitely not selfish.

DeleteMami didn't like or trust Khushi - she needed proof that Arnav was indeed kidnapped ... once she did her own investigation and found some daal mein kaala, she was happy to help Khushi ... and now she has seen with her own eyes, Bitwa all bound and blindfolded and unconscious. So FACT - ARNAV IS KIDNAPPED - accepted by Mami after fact-finding, and then proved by actual sighting.
NK liked and trusted Khushi - he didn't need proof that Arnav was kidnapped, he was prepared to believe her word ... but he also likes and trusts Shyam, and has no reason to believe that Shyam could be a criminal ... and let's face it, it's very tough to believe that about a respected family member ... so he needs proof that Shyam could be involved ...
once he gets a hint that Khushi could in fact be right about Shyam, he will help her all the way.
So FACT - SHYAM IS INVOLVED - will be accepted only after initial fact finding, and then will be proved to NK by an actual sighting.
Mami will be as disbelieving as NK about Shyam's involvement, but she is already on Khushi's side, she has seen that Arnav was in fact kidnapped, and as we have discussed before, she is the ONLY person among the R's who ever commented on Shyam's frequent absences ...
She ALSO noticed Shyam's extreme anger at the ArHi Grihapravesh ... again, the only person to do so
(Apart from Anjali, who I'm not counting at the moment)
So my gut feel is that Mami, AFTER an initial outburst of "No, I don't believe you" will be more ready to accept Shyam's truth ... or at least, like NK, ready to look for proof about it.
Rest of the family will only find out after the climax ... by which time, hopefully Arnav will be there to back up Khushi. If the family disbelieves, they have to disbelieve both of them ... Akash will believe Arnav, Payal of course will believe Khushi. So the uncertain reactions are only those of Nani and Anjali.

Actually that Arnav sneeze FB, it was a scene where mami actually stood up to defend Anji bcos Shyam was not around and also to tell neighbours why Anji stayed with her bro and had not gone to her sasuraal - Hmm!!
Ok, so NK and Mami will believe because they have the proof before them. They tell the family (agree with u after the climax).
Akash believes Arnav and Mami too right.
Payal ofc believes Khushi.
Nani will not disbelieve Khushi but she will be stunned just like NK. Guess it will be Mama who will confirm it for her - teh poolside on NYE, Shyam making the fake key - so he will give her the proof and she will believe her son (cos Nani thinks NK and Mami have a flair for dramatics and maybe after the way teh wedding happened and the fact that ArHi hid the Shyam truth all this while she will need reassurance). U know Nani was teh oly one who told Arnav at the broken engagement as well as on teh day of the wedding that something major needed to have happened for him to do what he did - so I guess she will be shocked and Mama's remembrances will nail it for her.
Anji ko abhi chhod do. She will not know anything for now.

Although NK knows Khushi only for a short while, he seems to know her well enough to believe that she is incapable of lying. It's sad that the man who loves her madly couldn't have as much faith in Khushi's incapability of lies and deception. Yes, she does indulge in the occasional white lie but is just not cut out to lie and betray people. Hope Arnav has realised that by now if not before.
ReplyDeleteSandy, loved your take on the blood groups. Yes, Anj is a universal receipient and so is the creep. Match made in hell. Arnav is a universal donor, financially supporting the entire family and the venomous creep (the latter till recently). By that logic Khushi should be O negative too considering that she was financially supporting her family and is the emotional succour to his family as well. That way they can lend blood to each other in times of need. After all the need of these two can only be fulfilled by the other.

Khushi can be O+ve or O-ve because I think in either case Mami will be able to give her blood if she needs it. Somehow her being O+ve appeals to me - she being the ying to Arnav's yang. But then your point on O-ve donor traits of Khushi also is appealing.
Confession: I was only thinking about the scientific characteristics of the blood groups - the character traits automatically fit in bcos I think the CVs intended it to be thus :)
Just a little editing regarding 'O'- negative group. They are universal donor, but only to the rhesus negative groups. That matches very closely to Arnav's character. Yes, he helps but in a selective way. My bet is that Khushi is 'O'positive. She is universal donor. No mater what, she will jump in to help. Of course she can not help rhesus negative group. But they are significantly outnumbered by the rhesus positive group. By the way, my blood group is AB negative. Because of rhesus negative situation, I have absolutely limited luck to find any donor for me.

DeleteI agree that the game of chess has been set and S-A and A-K will be the four players. Presumably ASR being the white king and Khushi being the white queen. Shyam of course the black king.... That leaves Anj to be the black queen more out of blind trust in her husband than malice.
Having said that the ultimate aim of game of chess is to save the king. So will this turn into a mind game between khushi and Anj? Anj of course egged on by her king (read Shyam) brain washing her which will lead her to play games (question) others....

UJ, I would agree with you ... Arnav married Khushi for himself, the Di reason was the reason his dil used to convince his dimaag that he needed to marry Khushi - otherwise the sensible thing to do would be to throw Khushi out of his Di's life as far as possible, not bring her into the same house.
DeleteYep, A-k and S-A are the four main players ... mami and NK have shaped up to be the knights, especially for this next stage of the game. Fitting actually - the queens are the ones with the maximum moves, the kings have the least, and require the protection. The rest are only pawns. Here Khushi is making all the moves, Anjali has the power to change the entire game completely, depending on her reaction ... Shyam is totally dependent on her - if she was to give him a kick, there is NOTHING he can do! Arnav is not actually just a King, he also has some moves up his sleeve - let's see what they are and what he does.
Actually, Shyam and Arnav also act like Queens in turn - they have a lot of moves with them. One heck of a confusing chess game!
Agree with Sandy, Mami will be part of the search party and also, she will be the next to find out Shyam's truth. And boy, am I looking forward to that one!

She is pretending, Shyam is pretending and Arnav is pretneding (I am soo wishing this is soo). Then the climax if built well will confuse u as to what is the actual truth and then BAM! out comes the truth.

Today’s episode- gripping, though I have not much idea where this is heading to?
Looks like both ODG and ODB suffer from that clotting problem.
Khushi was using her brains as if in answer to my Q y’day, “Is she thinking at all?”
I felt really bad when she was nearing hysteria trying to convince NK (which was another twist in the tale for me. I believe too Sandy, by the glint in Shyam’s eyes, that he will easily thwart NK and this will lead to the promo.)
Sanaya again made me ache for Khushi today.
NK was looking at her as if she is losing it and Sanaya played that part well- that fine line between sane and insane.
Which makes me plead again and again: please wind up this kidnap soon.
Chess is a long and tiring game and Khushi is in no shape for this now.
Which is why I liked NK: I will never again ask that Q, "Why did she not confide in someone else?"

It was always a game of chess. J or someone above mentioned to balance it out a 4th player is needed - That will be Anjali when she finally enters the fray in the future. NK, Akash, Mami, Nani and all others are the other courtiers and pawns but these are the 4 major stalwarts. This story was always about a brother and a sister who find the right life partner as per one of the initial outlines.
Is that so?! I din't know about it .... no wonder DB is pressurizing PH .... they took so long to even set up the base for A-K-S showdown .... it will need time to play out .... then only Anjali will be introduced into the picture (family comes in too) .... which again will take time to play out .... later when Shyaam is being disposed (temporarily) can we expect the glimpse of Anjalis right partner, maybe along with Dia's blast from the past .... Wow IPK has long way to go .... it just got started!!

DeleteAnji is the single most imp character in IPKKND. The whole story revolves around her. She is the binding thread amongst all the other characters. Evry day stuff happens and she is directly or indirectly involved.
Now is teh time when possibilities exist for Babuji regaining his faculties and breaking the news to Anji or Arnav refusing blood to Shyam (for wahtever reasons) and that creating a rift b/w the siblings. Anji's repentance for having been blind to her chottey's pain and so on and so forth. Abhi toh bahut hai isstory baaki.
I am telling u if she was toying around the fact that her hubby's show got axed recently would have made DB tag the PH and SP line and stay on.

Has not teh fact that Roy's assistant came home to give the file in teh presence of Khushi and Shyam as well as the heretofore unknown lause about death under unnatural circumstances tickled your curiosity that there could be more than what meets the eye?
On Payash wedding Shyam clearly told Aranv that RS was the only thing between him and Khushi. And soon after he tried to create an impression that he was all care and concern for RS but he never gave up leching at Khushi. Arnav was not blind to see these interactions but he had already made a hasty decision once basis what Shyam said, he would be cautious before he reaches another decision or changes his earlier perception don't you think?
As for Arnav refusing blood to Shyam, well I was thinking of possible causes of estrangement b/w Anji - Arnav with Shyam brainwashing Ani.
Blast from Past - Dia actually this is how we foresaw the 2nd MU b/w them after Shyam's truth was revealed. If properly told, it has brilliant scope. But how will they wave it in
SN: Sneaking suspicion that the writers happened upon R&R earlier this year and actually plagiarized our discussions on scenarios and happenings.

DeleteU just gave me an idea. Yes the goons and main KN have guns. What if in a Shyam-ASR-Khushi confrontation, Khushi lunges at Shyam and the main KN fires at her thinking to save his boss's life (not knowing his boss's true feelings for Khushi). ANd then is forced to shoot Shyam too so that he can go back and pretend that he was only trying to save ArHi.
Shyam will not want to shoot Khushi wantonly in front of witnesses and he has all along been telling his underlings to ensure she is not hurt.

loved how NK goes - ok i believe this 'could' have happened and then, ok this 'happened' - for anyone to believe something so big is a tough think - any logical person will try to cross check if an overly anxious wife is over reacting to her husband not being around
Also liked that he did not believe that Shyam was in on it - their association has been longer and he has only seen the saintly side of 'jijaji'
must clap for KKG here - her expressions were just too good - i almost could feel her anguish and pain - very very well done - and GV gets best actress!! head-desk head-desk!!!
So - NK will be the one who will bare witness to the fact that KKG was going berserk with worry and hence joined forces with the devil to help conquer the evil!
hope at some point she tells him more - am pretty sure she will feel lighter if someone else know the whole truth and believes in her as well
And here have to add - cant like Payal at all (CV to be blamed of course) = the sister who was so observant of her sibling earlier is completely clueless to her problems now - even Anjali and Mami know something is wrong - cant she at least ask her sister - your husband is away, the creep is always around, you seem so worried - is all ok???
And NK believing ODG is not capable of lying is so in character - he is so like KKG in that sense - believes tin trusting people = no hangups at believing the best in all - unlike ODB who has major trust issues

Payal will come in .... Khushi has done everything in her power to give her Jiji a happy life .... Payback time will be there .... but a slight touch would have been welcomed .... a simple conversation even if it does not have VLR in it .... maybe dozed off together during gapshup ... Akash comes searching for Payal but when he sees saali saheba cuddled into her Jiji ... sweetly says 'you stay with her today'

Payal can't tell the secret to Akash becos once the secret was known to Akash, he cannot keep it to himself, he would had to tell that to ASR or Nani or his mom/dad.....while that is what it should have been in the ideal situation, it would taken away from ARHI love story.....becos it was their cross to bear
Perhaps the Cvs could have indulged in tokenism involving payal in scenes enquiring after Khushi, don't know why they avoided it.
Finally DM has given blessings to our CVs it seems. The last epis were tight knit and had sooo much of logic. KKG's detectivegiri was beyond compare.
ReplyDeleteI want to know who does the background music for the show. Man, the way Shyam's face was revealed with that catchy music, it just made the whole scene worth watching with unblinking eyelids. And my love for Abhaas is increasing day by day. His portrayal of the villain who maintains the sweetness and genuineness to the outside world with the underlying persona of malicious intentions is phenomenal. His acting captures the minutest of the details of the character. No wonder he was Lalit Mohan's fav. He is a tough competitor to ASR in all aspects...I love it.
Cvs have done a fab work in portraying Khushis love, pain, restlessness. And kudos to SI, who can bring all these emotions on screen. There is something beautiful about watching her play Khushi who is now deeply and madly in love. Her dialogues with NK were spot on with the expressions. Her confusion, frustration of not being trusted and pain for her Arnav ji were so evident. All this, at times make me wonder that acting is an in-born talent and one should love it to do full justice to the scene. And I can see that SI really likes to act and is passionate about her work, immaterial of whom she pairs with - Mami, shayam, NK or ASR. She has been almost always perfect. I even liked her pairing with Shyam!
I listened to a Daljit's interview. She was way articulate and sweet than what I had expected. Her interview was soooo much better than BS. She knows how to deal with media and is conscious of her fan following. My guess is that she will not leave..I think her role will be more developed when ASR comes back. There has to be a rift between the siblings.
I am just sitting tight to see where they take the story from now. And BSji/PH..ab aur kitna wait karvaaoge ...bring the hero back. Audience's patience is a limited time offer...dont take undue advantage of it!

Glad that Mami has actually seen ODB captive (hence it does not sit well with me that she is now not given screen space - she now knows for sure the intensity/dept of danger ODB is in!)
And i think it is time that ODG includes mami in on her suspicion as well - after all she is her inbhestigating partner!

Mona, I think there was simply no time for mami both yesterday and today, so much else was happening. I hope she will be back today though, maybe after NK has his chat with Shyam.

Twine exactly my thoughts on yesterdays Khushi patching up with DM. Remember long time back we said that ARhi have to combined force, but they will have to deal shyam in their own style and way ! Hence happy that's exactly where its going.. and yes Bitwa did use his shatir dimaag to check VRL !
what I loved was how they showed at the start arnav falling down because of the mask over his face, and its shyam who removes it and throws out, Arnav's blindfold has been removed already on friday with the knowing Khushi is still searching for him, and it was shyam who placed the mask on Arnav and he was the one to remove it .. loved that scene because it makes our terrace confrontation more logical,
Chaap gaya hai woh paal will be unmasked by shyam himself and giving out the truth by blowing his own trumpet,
Other thing I loved how they show Arhi as equal - at start its arnav at the feet of shyam now being at the dead end and at the end of episode its Khushi was getting a hint to go ahead!
Yesterday’s episode was even more gripping with NK brought into the mix ..

Happy that NK did not believe her completely, as he said he "could accept ODB being Kidnapped but shyam the person not possible " although just few mins back said he knows her well enough to know she cant lie"
This was so similar to what ODB asked her at the road side confrontation when she tells him everything about shyam.. she asked him the same thing - " if i would have told you the truth would you have believed me ??" and he said no because " chaap gaya hai woh paal" and same thing is what she is facing today, NK trust she can't lie, but his loyalty or acceptance is more towards shyam as the "jijaji'..
Now why do i feel that Khushi will go to shyam and apologise(the promo) to make NK believe that what she said is true and shyam is in fact the kidnapper, although she hasn't revealed the true identity of shyam creep who is out to destroy her and Anji' life .. And more so her reason to get married into the family .. Both NK and Mami know the whole truth regarding the kidnapping, but its NK who has got the glimpse of the shyam part.. mami will have to be unaware of it for time being.. She helped khushi with the first leg of the searching the truth with facts about kidnapping, while NK will help to search the second leg of it relating it to shyam as the KN, with the facts of course..
Will the family believe her when the truth is out even when they know that she can’t lie, is that when payal , Guptas will be there to justify? Maybe, but will their justification hold any value or will it be shyam’s lie which will cloud as it did with ODB ?because if they believe where will story then ??, ODB has to be there to support her but acceptance will be far from easy as it was incase of their acceptance of the marriage. And wish ODB gives an ultimatum as he did earlier “ if you do not accept, I and Khushi leave the house “ and wish this time he really does that !
I loved the best is khushi never gave the complete truth about shyam that truth has to come from the shyam himself which will be witnessed by NK ...
What i feel is NK is going to be Khushi's " saarathi " for he might drive her to Arnav if the finale confrontation between Shyam - Khushi - Arnav takes place! Or he will be one to drive to the hospital (of course we need a driver there ODB will be no state to do that ) he will be the witness and guide now for khushi, since I feel mami has to hold the fort at RM, so now its NK at lead ! mami knows how they knew about arnav's kidnapping and khushi's love and desperation, while NK has witnessed the determination and will be witnessing the raw truth of shyam in the kidnapping - but both still unaware of the shyam - khushi and Arnav equation , Want to know how they are going get to the climax of this kidnapping ...

DeleteHuggs bey!! I know I am glad to see the Khushi and Arnav battling Shyam in their own way. What I would like to believe is that codici labout the trust in teh eevnt of unnatural circumstances is but the tip of the iceberg wrt Arnav battling Shyam.
And ofc VRL has to blow his own trumpet - that is his nature.
U know Mami continuing to look for Arnav with Khushi and NK - I keep thinking of Mami with the blackboard figuring out the Payal bhoot and then finally believeing her suspicions of Bubbli after seeing evidence with her own eyes. Also Mami has seen Shyam longer than either Khushi and NK from the RM end. She can think back to all the times he was missing at RM and to which Khushi says he was at GH as their PG.
Like ur thot of NK being saarthi to drive Khushi around and then finally to the hospital.
As for the family believeing Khushi - think like u that Mami and NK will see Shyam blow his truth for themselves. They will witness it. For the rest, Mama, Nani and Akash - it will be actually Mami breaking the truth to them and justifying Khushi and Arnav's silence for teh sake of Anjali. And then I expect Payal will pitch in saying she too knew of it but was bound by her promise to her family to keep mum. Payal, Guptas as well as Arnav will all try to claim guilt for being responsible for Khushi's state (see ti makes sense that Khushi is hurt at teh end of this kidnapping) but each one will be exonerated since they only had Ani's well being at heart. Nani will do a repeat of how Khushi bitiya is wise beyond her years.
It is at this juncture that the 6 month wedding thingue of ArHi needs to make a play. Either Shyam goads Khushi saying she was forced into marriage and teh girl blurts out the 6 month thing which is like a bomb blast as far as NK ad Mami are concerned. And when Mami breaks this to teh family, Arnav comes clean about how he threatened her with Payal's marriage and Khushi mutely agreed to being the sacrificial lamb for the sake of both sisters (O a rip off scene of Payal chewing off Arnav here would be soo good).
(U know the people who have weilded the camcorder in teh past are the ones who will witness the next confrontation and learn of the truth of SHyam - NK and Mami)

Nice one about Shyam himself compelting the unmasking before ASR. But I had a slightly different view of the blindfold. Did it come off only when Khushi came searching for him or was it already off by the time he said ILU to her (blindfold - Khushi's innocence). No the MU about her wanting to break up Anji's marriage, the anger would not be inclusive here.
Ever since the kidnapping started, actually right from the airport scene Holi was at teh back of my mind. The meeting of 2 hearts, the unwillingness to part, one waiting for the other while she goes back to prove her honour, momentarily gets waylaid by the snake and then reunited with and Arnav whom she is searching for by Anjali.
And I thought back to how Holi began - ASR called Khushi paagal and there was a Shyam Khushi confrontation before DM which seemed to have been witnessed by ASR. Was ASR able to see Khushi's expressions fo discomfort at teh thought of Shyam applying gulaal. ASR also witnessed Shyam's eagerness in wanting to apply gulaal though Khushi never made any effort to seek him out. EVen in her effort to tell everyone teh truth under teh influence of bhaang excluded Shyam - and she apologized to Anji. ASR saw all this. Khushi stepped up and applied colour on him and they saw the videos of Khushi and Arnav dancing under teh influence. And ASR knew that Khushi was going to tell her dil ke baat when he was chasing her to prevent her drinking more bhaang. And finally in later FB's he recalls what he told her at the poolside and much later at GH what she had initially asked him in teh gazebo.
By the end of Holi had the shaatir dimaag started to suspect but misled all into thinking he was still clueless?
After that the rose incident with crib happened, he stopped funds to Shyam, he altered the will, he learnt of Khushi being able to help others even at teh cost of people misunderstanding her (HR trophy forsaking).
Dilli maa Bali happened and he saw how affected she was by him and her concern for his voice. He also saw how SHyam seemed to not have mended his ways. That dance happened. Shaitan and Sundari happened.
Preeto's wedding and Khushi weaving rosy dreams for her mother happened.
Yes yes I know long shot and also u all are going to throw at me that Arnav kept throwing her character in her face. He was annoyed seeing SHyam's naem on thaty wrapper. He goaded her on that roadside.
But was it all because he had begun to wonder "What If ASR is wrong?" And "Kis mitti ki bani hai yeh ladki" that she is putting up with so much but not letting up even a glimpse of what is under. Shyam he could read but Khushi he could not. So he pushed her and pushed her and pushed her some more till she finally told him.
Was that final Arnav Shyam face off and the look Arnav gave Shyam just to let Shyam think that Arnav hates Khushi or was it actually a look to warn Shyam that I know better now and I know the scum that you are but now I am going to get you and trap you in that web of lies you have woven not just for Di but for Khushi too.
Basically Arnav began to susypecct something amiss since after Holi, the thought kind of crystallized at teh end of GH stay and by the time he was at the airport he more or less anticipated Shyam to pull off a stunt like he did.
HAA - Muuahh!! love you - shiddat to this being the case - So SO SO hope this actually plays out - will justify all that happened till now and help ASR rebuild his character!!!

I think your scenario is wonderful, maybe they will show a fb where he connects the dots just like Shyam did on his kidnap drama.
And I agree, his realization did not happen at one point, it was over a period of time.
He kept keeping a blind eye to all the wonderful things she did, until one day it was too much. He just had to see the love.
Only question is, has the MU cleared or is it just that he realized she loves him and he loves her back.
If the MU has cleared where is the RTR?
MU has cleared I think. But MU was in 2 ways on that terrace - one of the love of his life being someone else's and another of the love of his life demanding the breakup of his Di's wedding. He is now sure about the love of Khushi. But he needs to finally understand that she never intended Anji's marriage to break even though she uttered those damning words. He needs an equally powerful image to wipe out that scene and also realize that the main mastermind behind it all was always Shyam.

2. making her bear teh guilt of her sister's broken wedding because he was too enraged

4. for being in a way responsible for her father's ill health and her breakdown at the thought of losing a parent all over again
5. for crushing her hopes on Diwali
6. just to get vocal confirmation of her faraq padhtha hai torturing her with making preparations for his and La's engagement
7. for marrying her under pressure
8. for breaking her dreams of a wedding surrounded by elders and blessings of family and DM
9. for breaking her faith in DM
10. for exposing her to taunts and alienation from his and her family because he misunderstood her and married her in a hurry
11. for never having given her a chance to explain her side of the story and believeing only Shyam's
12. for having exposed her to danger from teh kidnappers because he was trying to validate some theory of his (ok this one if his shaatir dimaag is in action)
Basically ASR hid the truth from Khushi just like she did. She is repenting and redeeming herself now, he will too soon.
Similarly for having hid the truth from his sister, he will again repent and need to redeem himself in her eyes while she will repent not having been able to protect her little brother from the heartbreaks he endured and for being blind to his trauma.

How will the promo play out?
Now Shyam does not know yet that Khushi suspects him about the kidnap - all he knows is that she suspects him about the papers ... will her apology be about those, rather than anything about Arnav? She might even say she explored his room for the papers, and she's sorry for doing that. And so he will say that even if she doesn't find the papers, he will still be with her and tell Arnav the truth?
I DON'T see her mentioning anything about the kidnapping to Shyam ... she will keep away from that topic completely.
And maybe she will get NK to overhear the conversation, so that NK knows that Shyam has something to tell Arnav ... and that he threatened Khushi with the papers about it. Or something like that ... which will somehow convince NK that Shyam is not as above board as he looks.
So Mami and NK will get to know Shyam's truth and will be the ones to convince the family ... until Arnav makes an appearance, because his word is law ... they will all believe him. The anger there will be that why didn't he tell them ... same as for Khushi - this is a joint fault of ArHi's now.
Sandy, me too feel that Mami will figure it out - and again, she is the ONLY person to have ever questioned Shyam's whereabouts in the past. So she will accept his truth fairly easily - after the first mandatory "I don't believe it." But she is less clouded by emotions - give her a logical explanation and she will buy it - the way she believed Khushi when Khushi showed her the SMS which said Arnav reached London, but on the phone he said he never went to London at all.
And that's where I like your family scenario - about Mami, NK and Payal convincing the family along with Arnav, all taking the blame for her, because he gets hurt and can't defend herself .

Starting with Arnav sensing and seeing Khushi's discomfort with Shyam putting the color on her ...
her wanting to tell everyone her dil ki baat ...
She actually tells Nani and Mami something ... and Payash to, which he may or may not have seen ...
To Anji, all she wants to say is 'sorry' ...
And then she wants to tell him her dil ki baat ...
Shyam figures nowhere on her list.
And you're right ... after that, he starts working on the Shyam money angle ... and again, just waits to see what Shyam will do.
And he called Mr Roy's assistant home, Khushi said in Shyam's hearing about where to put the file ...
while we know that he was already talking to Mr Roy earlier as well ... so was that file at home the first red herring for Shyam?
Even if it wasn't, he postponed his trip to GH by one day - was that when he switched documents? Put the real will in his office, and left this fake one in Anjali's name at home?
So yep, hope Arnav's shatir dimaag started waking up after Holi, and we see all that once he gets back.
Also, I lost track where this was written above ... but I like the thought of Mama coming into the picture at some stage to bear witness to Shyam's key making and electrocution stunts. But is Mamaji still in the show?

Why did he want take the relation to the next step if didn't believe in her!! All this had one answer and it was Holi confrontation!
yes he did start using his dimaag from there, shyam being cut off, Will being placed in the stupid locker, and he going to GH, Khushi's suicide attempt all had his Dil vs Dimaag war . Didn't know what to accept and he needed more proof, more proof of Khushi not being with Shyam, more so her feelings towards shyam, like I said above, ODB could accept shyam being creep and duping Khushi and her family, what he wanted to know that , Khushi doesn't have any feelings for shyam.. her saying I will die before my name is taken along with that Creep, was first proof, second was the the needle one where she says I was forced into it, and the final nail for him to accept that she has no feelings for him where she says faraq paadta hai " ! That was the last chance he gave not to her but him self - to accept that she is innocent. All his FB's at the airport were analysing that what decision he has come is right,--- she is innocent and he can't keep that to himself anymore, he needs to tell her that he accepts/ believes that she is innocent and he turns to go back to khushi... but fate had other plans, and he got kidnapped, so the first opportunity he got to talk to her he said what he wanted say I believe you , I trust you - ILU .. Her finding him in that hideout was stamp which he needed, that she cares for me, maybe loves me too... and hence he did want to take their relationship to the next level -- a total surrender - total acceptance of her innocence - total acceptance of his love !! did I make sense ???

Yes do u recall how after Holi when they went onto 101 ways to annoy ASR we all went Hai Re Nandkishore! ASR was looking for proof like u said - to convince himself that Khushi is in the wrong and all he ended up finding is that she may not be. Do u recall that poolside scene when Anji spoke of death and so did Khushi and ASR got all worked up.

YHe told her she forced him to come back but ASR hismelf said that he and only he controls his action. And do u recall how shocked he was when she told him she had called someone to prove her innocencce to him.
By now one thing Arnav knows for sure is that she does not love Shyam and she definitely nurtues some feelings for Arnav. Khushi ko Arnav se bahut faraq padhtha hai.
What remains is for him to see something to erase that one scene where she utteered those words about breaking Di's marriage. He needs to see Khushi's anger against Shyam and then total acceptance and surrender hi hogaa...

The story is too damn unpredictable right now.
I think I have difficulty in believing the showdown is about to happen because:
1. This kidnap drama was supposedly planned on Barun's leave. The CVs have to be applauded for winding it up in this sensational way, but the real showdown will have to be really thought out and well planned and that will happen once all problems (BS leave, Daljeet out etc.) have been really sorted out.
2. Like Dia loves to hang onto her blast from the past, I cannot let go of 'MU clears followed by RTR' and that cannot happen amidst all this mayhem.
Let us see if Khushi is really thinking today.

Took me sometime to realise this:
That quiet time on the highway just after the terrace scene was spent exorcising her.
No, Su, the quiet time on the highway was Arnav's love for Khushi turning to hate, and his decision to punish her for daring to want to break his sister's marriage and to betray him ... and it was there the decision was made to marry her. He married her to punish her for betraying his love ... not because he wanted to keep her with him, but to make sure she never became anyone else's. Especially the one he thought she loved.

His thoughts - she led him on, pretended she cared for him, loved him ... while all along she was having an affair with another man (leaving aside that the other man was his BIL). Betrayal of HIM as her lover ... not as Di's brother.

Post Holi, imagine some sequences to basically establish some of the highpoints - Khushi caring for Arnav, Arnav accepting that he had always..., Arnav realizing how the Guptas though poor are not wealth seekers, him realizing just how much of Khushi's dreams he has squashed in a tighly bound manner like now and just when you are hanging on waiting for him to say something to her he goes missing. Can' decide if Arnav would have told Khushi just yet about Shyam in this event.
There were no spoilers on BS leave, teh kidnap, the promos. Would you not have been liek Oh Wow! What just happened.
Barun was not needed for this bit anyways. Khushi's realization of just how much Arnav's absence affects her though she has always attempted to stay away from him and that break down about her naadaani.
I think we are trying to fit in too many things together because we know about so many other things. Perhaps what has happened is that BS shooting is leading to kidnap being stretched. But it is only in his absence Khushi is alone and thus now has Mami and NK by her side.
RTR follows MU clearance toh hona hi hai. That middle of road scee gave me goosebumps. I am waiting for the team to outdo themselves showing how ASR / Arnav / Chottey crumbles when he realizes how he has brought Khushi to this point in her life. Yes he did it all like he tells himself - he wrote his destiny with the choices he made but he made the wrong set of choices bcos of his ego. And that ego will shatter to embrace humility and perhaps the acceptance of divine intervention in his life in the form fo Khushi.

DeleteKhushi is from a middel class family. After being married to him for 6 months, who from her community would have agreed to remarry her (ok being very narrow minded here, forgive me)
Also, in 6 months he would have done the necessary deeds to ensure Shyam is bound to Anjali forever so Khushi will never have him.
Double whammy for Khushi - stigma of broken marriage plus not being able to live with the man (Arnav presumed) she loved.
Also to add to this the dimension that ASR was beside himself with rage that night.....
DeleteHe has been known to take rash decisions while in anger. At some level, as we have never seen ASR's introspection, viewers have different views on it and some of us have revised our opinion as tracks were unfolded. (brains frozen, accepting fait-accompli, falling in love all over again despite everything......
However the one constant has been ASR can't ever leave Khushi well alone.....whatever might be his motivation, thinking.

Thats why the need to push her every time, he feels that he is not her first thought...he can't bear being "also ran" in her life. In a modern romance of equals, perhaps the thought of this "agni pariksha" might be odd, perhaps unacceptable too.....but here is where the RTR comes in to play its part....
The feeling of utter despair that ODB will go thru knowing that even while loving her, he had done a disservice to her on the many occasions
I liked what u said Sandy, that Khushi is going thru her RTR and Arnav will soon go thru that phase.....

So true, Rekhs, and that's why I loved NK's reaction ... despite knowing and trusting Khushi, he can't accept her word on Shyam ... just a small taste of how the rest of the family will react! Total disbelief! And can't blame them too, not at all.

The track was progressing beautifully till the airport.
Kidnap scene, whether it was actually a part or added later on for BS leave- does not make a difference.
And that hut scene was also well-timed.
This is why I want a thundering APPLAUSE for the CVS
THEIR TIMING HAS BEEN PERFECT
(Except for the kidnap being a little prolonged.)
All I am trying to say is:
ASR does not need the whole drama to come out to be convinced that he MU-ed her.
That will spoil the whole RTR.
‘Cause if Shyam is exposed now, Anji will take up all his attention.
Therefore no big showdown.

DeleteASR already knows he MUed her with regards to her being in love with Shyam. he believed it by teh time the airport happened. It was only then that he said ILU IMO. Now teh big showdown when it happens - Anji will not know of it and she will in no way hog Arnav's time. It will be Khushi hogging all of it after the showdown.

Off the cyuff, for now Khushi reaches Arnav, Shyam realizes he has been played by Khushi and Arnav, Khushi is hurt, Arnav repents and then rain hug should happen at the end of RTR when Khushi comes to bail Arnav out of his personal hell.
That day Arnav thought he was making a mistake for teh first time and tried to tell himself koi farak nahipadhtha is ladki se. On this rainy day, he will accept he made a huge mistake and that this girl affects him like no other, that she is the only one for him, that he cannot live if she goes away from him.
That day he saved her from being run down physically. This day she will save him from being run down by his enormous feelings of guilt, rescue him from the train wreck his life would have become.
