Quick update :
Wept for Khushi ...
Cringed with Khushi, and clutched my tshirt as tightly as she was clutching her phone and her clothes when VLCR came near her...
Wanted to puke when he held her face ...
Heaved a sigh of relief and disgust when he said "I love you Khushi" ... and she clutched her phone tightly again ...
Wept with her again when she sank to the floor and cried ...
Wanted to clap NK on the back when he realised what was happening, and his disgust ... loved him today :)
HATED and loathed Shyam today ... Abhaas did a great job ...showed the weaker side of Shyam, the one that will bring about his downfall ...
Episode actually left me shaken ... this is what women actually go through when someone abuses them ... especially a respected family member ... and they can't say anything ...
Update later - downloaded the episode, but this is one I will never want to re-watch ... Sanaya was fantastic!!!
Quick questions - did they see the Will? And realise what it was? Or will they see it before the precap scene ... and that's why Khushi tells Shyam to leave Anjali?

So Mami is consoled ... but not quite ... she is going to do her own fact-finding and inveshtigashuns ... she will return tomorrow ... now which way will she bend? Will discuss that tomorrow once that scene plays out ...
NK says 'back to work', he's fixed a camera in Jeeju's room, they have to wait and see VLR use the laptop ...
And VLRC does the needful ... NK explains some more logicwa ki baatein ... where he fixed the camera, camera was from a friend in a security agency so fulfills all the requirements for spying - it's small, it can be fixed, will relay images to NK's laptop, it has zoom, but audio is not clear ... all the details spelled out for the next phase of action ...
NK watches as Shyam takes out the pendrive ... he's going to use it, so they need to observe ... back to action station, where he and Khushi watch Shyam's each and every action carefully ...
And Shyam starts typing the password as Khushi watches and NK writes it ... ILOVEYOU ...
As Shyam types in KHU, Khushi's eyes widen with horror ... she knows what's coming and she can't stop it ... the filthy secret is coming out slowly ... anger, disgust, horror ... 'ghinn' is the right word, no exact equivalent for it ... sheer unadulterated disgust, horror and loathing at the pervertness of that man ... yes, and self-disgust, embarrassment and loathing too, that she is the unwitting object of such perverted behaviour. And a look of horror at NK ... how will he react now?!
While NK, genuinely good guy that he is, struggles to take in the meaning of the password ... what does this mean?
Before Khushi can answer ... or turn away from his unspoken accusation ... Shyam's laptop asks for voice authentication ... so Shyam, touching that pendant gifted by Khushi, obliges ... in case there was any doubt at all ...
And Khushi can barely meet NK's eyes ... she is so ashamed ... :(
But Shyam is still at work ... and NK-K see the paper coming up on screen ... did they see that it was Arnav's Will?
Mami interrupts VLR, much to his shock ... and to NK-K's disappointment ... Mami on her own investigation mission ... what gifts, from where ...?
A kurta from Scotland? after the sari? And no one suspects anything?! Mami didn't check the gift tag that was attached to the kurta ... but her checking out the gifts was very much in character, so Shyam didn't suspect anything ... for the moment ...
Did Shyam forget all about the fact that there were definitely two women following the KN? And that Mami lied to cover Khushi's story about being at GH?
Hopefully yes ... Khushi's playacting has made Shyam overconfident enough to forget everything else ... plus Khushi looks like she's no longer trailing Arnav anyway!
And finally NK asks Khushi what was that password all about ... and she has to tell him the truth =D> =D> Thank the Lord!!! Her helplessness, her self-disgust, her loathing ... she's quiet only for Di, how can she tell anyone the way VLR keeps trying to come close to her, talk to her ... her hands clenching tightly on each other, as she can't even meet NK's eyes, so ashamed and disgusted as she is ...
Good thing also that she made that slip the other night when Shyam had come to her room ...
And LOVED NK here ... "Disgusting!!!" And he's had enough, he can't tolerate it, they'll go to the police now ... they can't allow such a dirty, evil man to live in the same house ...
And loved that Khushi told him all ... how much she hates Shyam, and that all the problems between her and Arnav are because of this one man ... she's the one who most wants his real face to come out in front of the family ...
But ... her priority is getting Arnav back and making sure he's not put into any more danger ...
NK - and for that, we need the pen drive, and the password in jeeju's voice ... his tone says, it can't be done ...
But Khushi is determined ... scared but determined ... yes, it can, they've come this far, they can't stop now, no matter how much it costs her ... I know how to get that password in his voice ...
NK looks at her with dawning horror as he realizes what she means ... 'No! I won't allow you to do that! the guy is sick! ...'
But she has to ... there's no other way ... so she will ... however much it disgusts her ...
And her hands clench on her kurta ... this is going to kill her ...
And Payal is still trying to figure out how to get close to Akash ... high heels are the way to go, apparently! *head desk* Cracks coming up in that relationship for sure ...
Khushi puts plan in action ... Shyam tells Anjali he's coming down ... hope that's true ;)
And follows Khushi like a lamb ...
And Khushi plays him like an expert ... first anger ... 'what's going on? Why would Arnav send a gift? He never thinks about me at all! And he's kidnapped - why are kidnappers sending gifts, what do they want to do here? And what do I do ... I'm all alone, I can't share this with anyone' ... established to Shyam that Arnav still hates her, so now switch to tears, which Shyam also can't bear ...
Arnav's note stuck to her gift ... it witnesses the entire scene, like a guardian angel ... for more earthly help, NK is also overseeing carefully ...
And as Shyam kneels to comfort her, Khushi switches on her voice recorder ... for Shyam's entire confession ... he loves her, he's with her ... whle Khushi says nothing but the truth ... she's upset, she's alone, she can't rely on anyone ...
And NK encourages Shyam silently from behind the curtain ... say ILU!!!
And Khushi encourages Shyam carefully ... 'you said the other day ... was it true? That Arnav has given me nothing but sorrow .. and you ...?'
And Shyam finally falls into her trap ... eagerly ... doing his best to convince her of his true love .. holding her face, while Khushi clutches her phone desperately to stop herself from throwing his hand off ...
'I love you, Khushi ..'
And NK ... and entire audience breathe a sigh of relief ... now get rid of him, Khushi!
Which she does ... 'Give me some time alone, please ... I need to think ...'
'Do think ... as much as you want ... but remember I love you very much.'
And he leaves ...
And Khushi finally breaks down ... and sinks to the ground in tears, her hands clenched tightly on her clothes ... what she had to go through, what she had to do ...
Great episode ... tough to watch ... but I've already watched it thrice including the repeat! Sanaya and Abhaas were fantastic, so was NK. Sanaya made Khushi's disgust, shame, loathing, helplessness and 'ghinn' come to life .... Shyam was cringeworthy, and yet pitiable ... because he doesn't know his downfall is coming soon ... and audience feels good knowing that, so it makes the scenes watchable ... especially with NK acting out all that the viewers are feeling!
Mami made her presence felt in her one short scene ... she will do much more tomorrow, I guess.
What will she see? How will she react? Which army will she join?

Agree with all of you that they faltered in the execution.
When I watched behna today I had this thought(actually it is a recurring thought.)
All other serials fail when it comes to individual scenes. But the story has some continuity even if it is stupid. Our IPK team excels in individual scenes, but like Jaya pointed out, it is a jerky ride.
If you remember how perfectionist they are with their romantic scenes, you will know why the continuity is not there. They spend too much time on those everlasting magic moments, some important things get compromised especially when they don't have time as it is a daily soap.Though I wonder why this happened in the latter half alone.I'd like to add that I feel they will be good movie makers in course of time.

- loved that the password was more than Khushi - loved that NK got it (and that it took him a few seconds and a reread to get it - its too shocking for a decent boy to understand the gravity of the situation in a flash) - Knew NK would get it when VLR typed the Password
- thank you CVs for placing the camera (with the speaker) at a correct angle - so they got the right shots - not a camera following the target as is the case in all other camera related story lines -
- even though the note had fallen to the ground and ODG had brought the gift inside long ago - will skip this little mix-up and accept that the note was fixed in the wrapping :D - NK KKG, notice, please guys - your DM has literally shoved it in your face!!
thoughts - am so glad NK saw it all - he now knows the extent of creepiness of this man - good! poor girl must be so relieved to finally say it out loud - finally not stay mum about it - liked that the CVs had made her say something on these lines earlier in front of NK and she covered it up - so he knows she is not faking her response - she really does hate the guy!

ReplyDeleteToday was an important twist. Khushi was forced to let NK enter the chakravyuh (shall I call it the circle of trust?) with her today.
And tomorrow is another twist. She is going to tell VLR pointblank to leave Anjali.
1.What is Khushi’s motive in the precap? She may be trying to trap VLR.
2.Why oh why does Shyam keep the will downloaded in his pendrive when he has the original one? What purpose was it going to serve him? (OK, maybe to take copies later on for ref or something.)But why is he looking at the will now? And what IS HIS plan?
3.Where is the MU now?
a)If Anji doubts Khushi now, NK, Payal(however busy otherwise she is) and Guptas can vouch for K’s innocence.
b)Worst case scenario: If VLR has planned all this and proves he was not the kidnapper but was in fact spying on her and she was entrapping him, still NK can stand up for her.Now he has seen everything. Why should Anji ask K to leave RM then?
c)If ASR decides to keep this a secret from di- I’ll say that is a stupid idea, because a kidnapper is dangerous and can easily turn a murderer.
d)If VLR blackmails Khushi into silence, still NK knows. Also, she should not keep quiet, because this is a dangerous man.
For the MU to occur Khushi has to be trapped now. I don’t see how that is possible now unless something happens to NK. (btw, he was a darling today. I take back everything I said about him doing the filler act)

Somewhere in these five months, this was like a forgotten relic, thank god, it has been restored.....with or without damage remains to be seen

My 1st dhaasu scene of the day: Shyam saying "Haan hum bas neeche aa rahe hain Raani Saheba" and then Khushi passes by with the KN gift having Arnav's note sticking out.
Yes Shyam - the time for your descent has indeed begun and it shall not be long before Arnav and Khushi make sure you land hard with a thud!
"Gazar ne kiya hai ishaara

The 2nd dhaasu scene of the day:
Shyam saying "Na aap kabhi akele thi, na hain or na rahendi. Hum hain na" - Shyam's past deeds ae going to be confessed by his glorious highness when there is another Shyam Khushi confrontation with Arnav watching (did u not see how that gift with Arnav's note was there as if hearing what they said)
And Shyam just maaroed the biggest kulhaadi on his leg vis a vis Arnav (whatever NK hears is as god as being heard by Nannav / Nanhe Arnav) "Jab tak hum zinda hain, aap akeli nahi hain Khushiji. Humne sirf aur sirf aapse pyaar kiya hai Khushiji" And with Arnav watching Shyam is going to undo that moment which is stuck in Arnav's mind and he will realize why Khushi if she claimed to have kept silent for Di asked Shyam to leave Anjali - because he is a disgusting man.
After all,
"Saamna jab hua
Phir wahi sab hua
Uska yeh farz tha
Uspe yeh karz tha
Fars ko karz apna chukaan tha.."
Arnav owes Khushi the debt of having believed Shyam's words over hers. He has the responsibility to clear that debt and cleat it he shall when he realizes how Shyam played him for did he not warn Shyam "Well ab Khushi meri patni hai aur aap usse door hi rahiye jijaji. Aap di aur unke bachche ke saath jeene ka samjhotha kar leejiye"
Shyam owes Khushi the debt of having sullied her name in a crime she did not commit - of being involved with a married man. He has the responsibility to clear her name and proclaim how she was an innocent victim of what he left unsaid the other night and what he let Arnav to believe. And this time Arnav will witness the disgust and rage in Khushi's eyes for Shyam for did he not tell her today "Kaash aap humaari mohabbat pehle samajh sakti"
Soon after that Khushi moves towards the gift as if moving towards Arnav and joining forces with him. When she finds him, she may not tell him anything immediately because she believes she already did on the phone but the mind games with Shyam will continue because Khushi is now hell bent that Shyam's true face should be revealed to the family. She will convince Arnav to behave as he always did with her - annoyed and upset so that she can prove her innocence " kyunki Khushi ko farka padhtha hai" (Khushi stood by the gift asking for time from Shyam to think and it was he who says to think about them and their future) about her image in Arnav's eyes. And she is paagal enough to play the game of giving away her title of Mrs. ASR and the associated benefits just so she can have her name cleared in the eyes of the man she loves.

ReplyDeleteOh I so recall Holi when Khushi goes back to look for her dupatta, meets the creep, sees Anjali and finds her way to Arnav who said "Main rukoonga, I will be waiting Khushi..." And Arnav will wait for his Khushi to fight and win her battles against Shyam. He will trust in his heart that she is in the right but when he realizes just what a slimy creep he chose to believe over Khushi, he is going to berate himself like no other.
And that day only Khushi can save Shyam Manohar Jha from Arnav Singh Raizada!(Di will come into play plus the legal hassles)
(There was that day at GH when a gift wrapped paper with Luv,Shyam was crumpled and thrown away into the darkness from which it has ventured forth. Again that will be the faith of this newfound love of this immoral man. Khushi is always destined for the gift wrapped precious love of Arnav Singh Raizada which has begun to peek thru the layers in which it was earlier encased)
And ASR needs to be out there again as the dhaal for Khushi and ANjali for whenSHyam realizes how his "sincere affection for Khushi" (MAHA DDR of MH&S) was manipulated by Khushi, he will unleash the forces of hell on her and therefore on Arnav!
Shyam today keeps repeating his affections for Khushi only because he is assured of the wealth. The day the wealth appears to slip and he has to yet again choose between Khushi and it, he will without hesitation be the slave of Rani Sahiba. And what will he tell her - about his affection for Khushi -nah!. He will tell Anjali how it was Khushi who came up with the plan to kidnap Arnav for revenge. It was Khushi's idea to kidnap and kill him for his wealth. But at this point what will happen is either Shyam will overtrip the bit about the forced marriage also to Khushi to make her realize why Khushi needed revenge and why she acted all concerned for Arnav. Else Arnav is going to stand up and speak the truth in order that what he did to hurt her will deflect the accusations at him rather than have her hurt by the words of his family. Basically Shyam's plan to vilefy Khushi will be thwarted. ANd then his games shall continue..
Now I shall wait to see what Mami sees and the next person to hold the burden of the turth will be Nani. But if Shyam agrees to divorce Anjali Mami is going to be heart broken that not only is he holding her son but is out to destroy hr daughter's life too. She may conftont Khushi like she did Bubbly and NK will corroborate his end while Mami has already seen the other end.
Akash and Anjali don't seem yet to be in the picture to learn Shyam's true face.
That last scene of Khushi breaking down reminded me of the wedding night when Arnav sat on the recliner and Khushi broke down near his feet telling him how she had been orphaned all over again.
Sandy beautiful. very well written and expressed. I am too waiting to see what mami sees and whether shyam will agree to divorce anji or not. That's I have written in my post too and strangely enough when I posted my post I saw your almost immy.

DeleteAt this point he might because the wealth is in his hands if he manages to kill Arnav. Khushi seems o be falling for him. What role does Anjali have in his life from his POV now? The child does not matter one teeny weenyy bit to him.
That is why he will be in a hurry to get to Anjali before the family does when things unravel around him. He will have to get to her just like he did with Arnav and create that confusion in her mind like he did the morning after the wedding. But chances are it is going to backfire on him in the short run though in the long run it may find its mark.

If you go back to the terrace confrontation - which no one wants to do! ... when Khushi said those words, 'Chhod dijiye Anjaliji ko,' I was expecting Shyam to waver at that point, to show that he WASN'T ready to give up Anjali's wealth for Khushi. But I remember to my surprise, that he was delighted to hear Khushi say that, and immediately said, yes, I will ...
Now with the will tucked away in his pocket, and Khushi apparently ready to be with him if he helps her to take her revenge, he has nothing holding him back. The will doesn't specify that he has to be the BIL to become executor or inheritee. He can divorce Anjali, let Arnav come back and then kill him, making his death seem like an accident ... which at the moment he can't, because Arnav is supposed to be in Scotland.
And yes, that's why he will rush to brainwash Anjali first thing when things unravel. And there will be a terrace confrontation again ... after the first one, he rushed to brainwash Arnav ... after this one, he will rush to Anjali.
What I'm wondering is, will Arnav-Khushi play along and pretend not to know he is the KN? Can't be if there is a fight scene between Shyam and Arnav ... but that was shot ages back ... have they re-worked the track?
If they have, Arhi might pretend in front of Shyam to now know his misdeeds till they can unmask him in front of everyone ... but don't know what good that does, unless it's for Di's sake.

ReplyDeleteKudos to all three actors. They were brilliant. I hated shyam so much but have started liking Abhaas more and more. What an irony the worse shyam gets the better Abhaas gets.
Mami still busy inbestigating and I think may stumble upon something in time to realise and join the inner circle that Khushi and NK. Although I think Arnav doesn't fully realise his jija's kaminapaan he will soon realise it with K and NK's help.
As vile as it was to watch, ye toe hona hi tha. Once you take the plunge, do not expect to rise before touching the ground. This by far was the worst that it can get with Khushi. Here onwards it will only improve.
Agar mahabharat mein draupadi ka vastraharan nahi hota to kurukshetra ka yudh bhi nahi hota. unfortunately, for the war to happen for good to win over evil, for pandavas to take on kauravas poor draupadi had to go through the insult of vastraharan in bhari sabha. It was when draupadi went through this trauma that the rest of the worl realise the real motives of the kauravas. Krishna always knew thei motives. He knew what was coming but for pandavas to understand what duryodhan, shakuni and dushashan are capable of, draupadi paid the price. Similarly, for Arnav, Raizaadas and Guptas to realise the true nature of VLR khushi is paying the price. Realise they will. Angry they will be and a war there will be. The time isn't right for war yet. Anji's daughter (ravana's first child) is yet to be born.

Well yes if Draupadi had not insulted Duryodhana about his "blindness" when he visited the palace of the Pandavas, he would not have exacted revenge for his humiliation in the form of the vastraharan in the game of dice and then Kurukhetra War would never have happened.

Yes this was necessary, but like in the war, Arjuna was protected by Hanuman and Krishna, in this dharmayudh of Khushi Nanhe and Nannav will be by her side.

UJ, loved the mythology here! True, if Draupadi had not been insulted, the war would not have happened ... the Pandavas were bent on giving the Kauravas chance after chance to redeem themselves. It was the cheer haran of Draupadi which precipitated the battle ... and Draupadi herself wanted revenge for her insult in the bhari sabha ...
DeleteI want Khushi and NK between them, to tell Arnav of Shyam's vileness, and demand that he owes it to Khushi as well as to Di, to get rid of the Slimeball once and for all. Khushi was always the forgiving one, who believed in giving chance after chance ... she has to be the one to turn around and say - no more chances, he's had them all, he needs to be destroyed.
And maybe the precap shows that desire ... that Shyam has to be finished ... pulled out from the roots and destroyed. And she is not bothered about herself in all of this, she's willing to sacrifice herself, make herself the pawn ... to save Arnav and Di, and the Raizadas.

There will be no MU between A and K, there can't be. For arnav there will only be guilt of not being able to protect her, of MUing her, of doubting her character. Pandavas lost draupadi in the game of chaurang and hence draupadi was insuted. Arnav lost Khushi in the game of chess (terrace scene being one of the crucial move by shyam as he did it deliberately after seeing A and K bonding on that fateful night). Kyonki arnav ne Khushi ko daav per laga diya tha, khushi has ben insulted time and again today being the peak. Ab it will be all out war. It's after this scene in mahabharat that the armies start taking shape. similarly, after today Arnav's army and shyam's army will start aligning. NK has been fully recruited and mami will soon be.
ReplyDeleteKhushi was in her element today. loved the fact that although she is trying VLR so say his pasword, she uses the truth in a vey shrewd way. 'Hum akele hai, humein koi nahi samjhta'..... this is all true as far as Khushi is concerned for the time being. She really has no one to talk to and she uses the truth to beautifully to manipulate VLR. VLR's true colours showing not just in front of Khushi but also others. As far I know he has never ever said it in words to khushi but today he has done exactly that. Khushi has recorded that. Note that in the entire dialogue no where has she reciprocated a single word even to playact. she says 'aapne jo us din kaha tha' implying I havent said anything but you have said it before now as well is it true?'
While shakuni mama is with duryodhan, he wins the chaurang because shakuni mama is the shrewd one in that camp. As soon as duryodhan's obsession takes over he starts losing the battle. VLR can be considered the entire kauravas army (anji and nani might join his army but will be more like bhishma jinka dil ek taraf aur farz dusri). His shrewdness can be attributed to shakuni mama and straength as durydhan. As soon as obsession starts taking over he will lose all battles. Obsession has started rearing it's ugly head and it's a mater of time before the ugly head will be severed.
In a way it wil be good to see arhi-anji rift. historically everytime VLR has created a rift, he has only managed to make Arhi come closer and make their bond stronger. Arhi-anj will do exacty that, It will not only bring Arhi closer (Arnav standing for K) it will also bring ARhi and Anji closer. It will develop a unconditional trust and bond between them.
I have a feeling the precap scene was to distract VLR so NK can get the pen drive download the data on his laptop and return it to it's original place but K is also using the opportunity to get rid of VLR altogether from her life as well as di's. As NK said toay, he is such a creepy disgusting man that he shouldn't be living in shantivaan at all. If K manages to convince VLR to divorce Anji then both K and anji get rid of him and he is left with nothing nor khushi neither money. If K does not manage to persuade him then at least K knows that money is more imortant to him and hence he can do anything for money. If he can eave her for the money he can do anything.
War it is and Arnav the senapati. Bring it on CVs the games have only just begun. Abhi toe agyatvaas baki hai meaning Arnav running from the KNs and going into hiding to dig deeper.......... aur bhai kurukshetra ki ladai baki hai.

From Mahabhartha view, would Mami qualify as Vidur or will she be Bhima - Bhima was also considered to be Hanuman's brother (sons of Vayu I think?!)
Akash would be Krishna's brother Balaram - balanced, strong, ever the voice of reason, a true warrior but also not blindly supporting of Krishna's devious and at times brodering on the edge of righteousness schemes
There is an interesting story to Duryodhan's downfall in the kurukshetra war He would have become invincible if he had listened carefully to his mother Gandhari's words. Sandy I think mami qualifies as vidur for he was very intelligent. He saw things far before they happened. Very farsighted. So is mami the smartest raizaada and the most intelligent in the Arnav camp. However she also qualifies as Kunti the living and caring mother of the Pandavas. Loving and caring yet strong, principled, supportive.
DeleteAs for Akash, I don't think balrama suits him. Balrama taught duryodhan and bhima the art of fighting with a mace.... Balrama was was on neither sides during kurukshetra war, although he knew the entire truth. Akash although has not taken his position yet does not know an inch of truth. Once he does he is bound to side with arnav and so I think he is either nakul or sehdev.
Rekha, yes bhima had hit duryodhan below the belt so will Arnav. We know arnav us capable of hitting where it hurts the most. Didn't he say 'acha hua tumhare parents nahi hai yeh sab dekh ne ke liye' or something similarly during A-K confrontation in the middle of the road....

Mami as Vidur and Kunti sounds nice! Most characters in the story have shades of myultiple mythological characters I feel.
You know why I thought of Balram, because in the Ramayana context Aakash is Bharat and Bharat had no direct role to play in the war. He was primarily the keeper of the kingdom. Similarly, Akashs primary responsibility when war begins in all earnest is going to be to watch out for Di and her child.
Set aside that he taught the Kauravas and focus only on that he is Krishna's brother (not every facet of the mythological character needs to be absorbed is it not?)
He will of course not side with Shyam due to the disgust but siding with his family will also be a difficult pill because they hid from him about Anjali's accident on his wedding day, Arnav and Payal hid Shyam's truth from him, Khushi, NK an Mami hid Arnav's kidnapping from him. So somewhere he is more the guardian for Di and AR.
Akash is going to be teh neutral unbiased fellow in the melee that is about to happen.
Another name for Balarama is Samkarshana considered to be an avatar of Shesh Naag. This other name had everything to do with baby birth and baby transfer from Devi to Nanda. Shesh Naag is also associated wth creation - so Akash will have a role to play when Anjali's child enters the picture.

DeleteSandy and Rekha after the 1-1 gadha yudh, there is scene where balrama is extremely angry with bhima for having hit duryodhan on his thigh. Balrama was also about to curse bhima before he was reminded of bhima's oath of breaking duryodhan's thigh. I can see akash being very angry with Payal/Khushi for hiding things before A reminds him of the reasons for doing it.
Su the war has not started yet. Abhi toe the whole family is yet to know of shyam's real self. Abhi the alliances are being formed. It's the pre war stage. Once the armies are formed it will be war. A war to save Khushi, restore her honour (like it was to restore draupadi's honour), to save di and her baby, to safeguard the raizaada money and property (like it was for hastinapur). Although Krishna and Arjuna (Arnav and khushi) have joined hands they have not even talked about their strategy, the war or anything. There's lots left to happen before war....

I think Akash being angry with Payal will happen around Mami and it will be Mami who will explain to her son about Payal's silence having been the right thing - the earlier Mami Bubbly Payal scene where Mami says you will nto say a word against the child. This will also be Mami's acceptance of Payal like she has currently been accepting Khushi.

The war is the destruction of evil which is Shyam. The first battle has begun with Khushi attacking and tarpping Shyam (it was to her that the truth was revealed first)
The next battle will be Arnav against Shyam for Khushi's honour (the truth was revealed to him second)
The last battle will be Anjali versus Shyam and this will mostly end with Shyam's defeat / death because Anjali will be the next in line to learnd of his truth from his own sweet talking mouth - Munh Miyaan mithu (HR's meethe se maut)
Like Khushi is a blurter, Shyam has always been a self revealer; first he revealed himself to Khushi and the Guptas. Next he revealed himself to Arnav and now gradually to the Raizadas. Lastly he will reveal himself to Anjali

Ironically, the chance Khushi gave Shyam on the wedding night was because of the baby. Arnav gave Shyam a chance for Di's baby and Anjali would rather believe Khushi's "guilt" so that her baby can have a father.
Each one of them are giving him his chances for the baby so Shyam is going to well and truly burn all his bridges by eventually targeting this baby and then all bets are off!

Going back to mythology, vidur, bhishma, gandhari, Krishna everyone tried to explain it to dhrithrashtra that the kingdom was rightfully Pandavas', that what duryodhan and dushashan did with draupadi's was out of order but due to the obsessive love of his dear son duryodhan and inferiority feeling dhrithrashtra chose to ignore everyone and believe and trust his son duryodhan which ultimately led to the war. The greatest responsibility of the war lied on dhrithrashtra's shoulders. Only if he was strong enough to listen to his well widgets and face up to his fears it would not have ended the way it did. Similarly if anji was string enough to listen and face up all this would not happen. She chose to turn a blind eye at every event right from her husband's perpetual absences, ring, finding him in A-K room etc etc....

See that is why Anjali has shades of the daughter Janaki, the raizada princess Mythili, the wife Mandodari and the mother gaandhaari.
She saw how poorly Arnav behaved with Khushi but just so that he would not leave the house for La, she still made sure Khushi would come home to train La. Yes that resulted in them coming closer together but what was Anjali's prime motive - to prevent Arnav from leaving the house. Similarly,now her primemotive will be to prevent Shyam from being thrown out because she needs to have her dream world - u recall on the wedding day she said, I can ask for nothing more - a brother who loves me so much, a husband who loves me so muach and now a child who will love me. And why will she feel animosity to Khushi because somehow somewhere Khushi's truth expose mission threatens this dream of Anjali's.

DeleteUJ - yes, armies aligned, or will be after tonight, depending on hat Mami sees and how that goes ... also saw in SBS that NK-K are asking in the restaurant for the address the food was delivered ... so will Mami just overhear and do nothing for the moment? Four things have to happen before the Arhi milan ... a Mami explosion, the restaurant stuff, as well as NK/K finding out about the will, and the Shyam/Khushi scene - can't all be happening today ... too much action!
Nani is Bhishma in the army ... knowing the truth and yet having to follow her farz - be with her granddaughter, even knowing her to be misguided. Anjali is Dhritrashtra, blinded by the love of her husband (not son here) ... and Shyam of course is Duryodhan. His shatir dimaag was his Shakuni mama asset, that will get overthrown by his ego and pride coming forth as he feels he has both money and Khushi in his pocket - like Duryodhan felt he was invincible because he had both Bhishma and Krishna's armies apart from all the other kings of course.
And agree with you, every time VLR causes a rift, it brings Arhi closer ... this will do the same.
@Sandy ... I would agree with Mami being Vidur - she is the smartest and she will ferret out the real truth soon I don't think she will be taken in by Shyam's lies, especially not if he agrees to divorce Anjali within her hearing.
NK is a mix of Krishna and Hanuman ... and when Arnav enters the fray, Arnav might take over the joint role of Arjun (chief warior) and Krishna (chief strategist) ... Khushi will remain in her role of Arjun also ... and NK will be more like Sanjay, the sutradhar at that point.
Akash - I am sure he will support Arnav come what may, he won't stay neutral. So not Balaram. And supporting Di means protecting her ... if Shyam is the evil one, he will protect Di even from herself ... which he will be doing if she sides with Shyam.
And I feel the battle to free Arnav is just the first one ... the war will continue with DM's army on one side - Arnav, Khushi, Mami and NK ... Shyam, Anjali and Nani on the other.

But before that, he will play his mind games to deepen the rift between Arhi and Anjali ... hoping to break Arhi, because it is no use to break Anjali-Arnav - he wants Arnav's money and Arnav's wife ... and the way to both is by using Anjali to break Arhi, not by separating Arnav-Anji.
but that is what he will land up doing - he tried to do exactly that at their wedding, and only pushed Anjali into strengthening the Arhi marriage with all the riti-rivaz ... he will try that again, and it will rebound on him again.

DeleteMami is going to be heartbroken to realize that the daughter who worshipped her husband is being cheated so badly and it will be an uphill task for her to keep it to herself. I was watching Teej scenes again and how the family always is appreciative of SHyam's caring nature for Anjali.
You know when I thought of SHishupaala, I also recalled why Krishna had to keep on forgiving him, because Krishna made a promise to tolerate upto a point for his sister's happiness. And Arnav before Teej told Anjali that in order to keep her smiling, he will do whatever it takes. And if it means putting up with Shyam then so be it!
Akash may not have all of Balaram's characteristics but like I told UJ, it is because Balaram was considered to be Shesh Naag avatar plus the swap of him an Krishna with Nanda's children is what makes me think of his like that.
As for Arnav and Khushi - well Paarth or Paartha - isn;t it the same? But somehow it appeals that Khushi will still be the prime fighter while Arnav guides her and NK supports her.

It is when Shyam realizes the ArHi equation truly and how Khushi played him then he will strike her and Anjali is prepped with her doubts about problems b/w ArHi - alternatively they decide to celebrate the 6 month anniversary of the couples and something happenes that day at RM

I have been fascinated with the payal character becos i consider her crime/culpability far bigger than Khushi so i wld really like this juxtaposition with the A_K_S angle and would want Cvs to give this track also the merit it deserves....

Payal knows the VLR bg, she also heard what he said when Bitwa and Bitiya returned from GH... now Bitwa isn't around and she doesn't spare a moment to think that maybe VLR mite try to take adv of the situation...instead she is trying to win over her husband, who is already in love with her... cv's, you are really weird......
I remember reading an Interview with one of the cv's ... I forget which one ... who said that the character of Payal was an afterthought ... they put her in, then didn't know what to do with her, so got her married to Akash ... I didn't believe it then, thought ki which cv will say something so weird about one of their own creations ...

Or stop being lazy and try to write something slightly believable for them ... Payash attending parties, and Akash unconcerned that he can't contact the man who is not only his brother but also his boss for so long, while Arnav has been missing for weeks is completely silly! Send them out of town for a business trip for a few days, so that they miss all the action at RM.

Payal may have to undergo viraha too but ArHi and Mami are going to stand by and ensure this couple gets back together. And at that time, Payal will have to mainly look to herself and her instincts, her knowledge of Akash to do the right thing.

Some news were floating that BS was hurt/got a electrical shock and blood loss and would be out of shoot for 3 days.. apparently its just electrical shock while shooting the last fight scene...
Seems IPK are always online that they clear it soon .. Mishti clears saying BS is fine and back to shoot and shooting some RV's..

So, As per SBB... he did get the shock, he called for pack up then... but nothing to worry about... he's back now and I guess is shooting again !! No fever, no blood loss for sure !!!

What caught me off guard is Bitwa at the pool side and with a towel and Shyam KMH ... RM ke bhool bholayia mai, mai ye bhool gaye ki ye RM hai !!! Har cheesz gol gol ghum ke use jagha par aajati hai, chaye who bedroom,pool ho ya MU...
no Aaru, Bitwa isn't back in RM... he had just come to grab some air (hawa khane aaya tha) they were shooting bitwa fight and bitiya-VLR scene simultaneously

ReplyDeletethey actually did (once upon a time) use the raizada gate.. his car was different! and nani was strict.. and happyji was another guy! and they used the whole of the house for shooting.. and so many servants! and bitwa.. wow. yeh khushi kitni bolti thi na?? payal was a superb jiji.. kya se kya ban gaya.. shyam has the same daiyya ho BG!! and the cinematography.. truly fantastic.

These were the initial epis i think, where BS was getting into the skin of the character but the dialogues were just superb...and that added to the aura of ASR and in fact all things IPK....
My kiddo watched him and said he is the guy in some ad.... and she googled for his ad and showed me....the reliance big tv ad and few ford fiesta or figo ads as well....i started to warm up to BS after watching those ads, he was a abs contrast to ASR in those ads and i remember, his expressions were really gud....thot to myself...bitwa main kuch baat hain...and as they say, the rest is history

And what a set up.. Bitwa had more plants there, even the settings of the whole living room was class apart !!
Can't they show these regularly as they show Dilli ke roads???
And ahh like Nani's advice to him, to cut his speed towards money.. to just slow down and look back .. or its going to be too late to do that, Isn't Arnav at that point today, where he has to look back and see what he has done to one girl who never deserved it?? !!

Such a CUTE bro-sis relationship they had in those days - reminded me so much of my brother and me ... I think Anjali had a cuteness and an impish charm in those days which she's lost now, and become TOO sugary sweet ... she needs to regain that.

Deleteremember there was one other pearl from Arnav in one of those epis later too....the exact epi was one day after bandagement when wakes up calling out for Khushi and Anji comes into his room and starts mock scolding him and he says pooja-vrat ke naam pe saare frustrations nikal do....something like that...
aawww...thanks Jaya for the link!!!me was feeling homesick and tired..came here and watched that episode at work..those were some really good episodes!! IPK was just at a different level during those days...BS sounds different then naa???

i guess after settling into the characters, the actors tweaked the bits to finally settle on something that they could just slip into, everytime the director saya "action"..

Deletefrom my POV, he was a normal hi fi boy wonder, joking with his family, absolutely at ease with the amount of power at his disposal.. of course ruthless towards his enemies, (as he assumed she was).. and then she got under his skin, then came the fighting-the-feeling, then acceptance and attraction, then the bomb that made him question the way he perceived her.. was his initial assessment true after all? was she just a gold digger?
he dint think.. he married her. (LOL when i put it like that, is so funny)later, gradually he finds that she might have been a gold digger, but now she cares for him too.. and he falls.. hard.
"the bigger they are, the harder they fall" quote for the walls around his heart.
now that the girl has cleared her side, he has all but surrendered his heart to her.. as the telepathic convo proved.

DeleteU know there are two ways to look at it....
where even the MU has stopped to bother him( or rather, he had relegated that to some corner of his mind/heart), he has just plain succumbed.....If this is the scenario, one hard MU can still jolt him...altho he can still fight it with the added knowledge of what she means to him etc
The other is the one that talks about how trust has made inroads and he started to accept her crazy ways...imp question...here we can't have him Muing her becos then the trust premise just crumbles and makes this 5 month period a real waste of time...
to get back to what u said....the Cvs may be working on a mix-match from both scenarios....
Also, ASR's persona had needed him to be in a constant state of irritation, yet fighting attraction....so that combination made it all sexy....but when even one of that aspect changes u will see a slightly diff ASR....
yet we hope to have those glimpses of "whats so funny...kyun muskura rahin ho? kind of ASR as well
