Just hope it's a Wonderful Wednesday ... not Woeful Wednesday ...
Quick update - Khushi cons Shyam into agreeing to divorce Anjali ... her aim being to get him to sign his estate back to Arnav ... or some such thing ... need to check the paper again, but it appointed Anjali as the Sole Executor.
Mamiji overhears Khushi tell Shyam to divorce Anjali, and now's a good time because Arnav is away. And Mami stops using her brain to question why Khushi would talk like this when they both know Arnav is not away, he's been kidnapped ... and she rushes to tell Anjali straight away.
Khushi-NK discuss whether this is the right path ... Khushi remembers Arnav being beaten up and carried away ... his life is in danger ... so she has to go ahead with this ... she just hopes Di doesn't get to know about it.
Arnav challenges his KN's again ... he's going to break free. And the KN's are dumb ... or just awed by the ASR persona ... they actually believe it.
Has Arnav realised they don't want to kill him for some unknown reason, so he's ready to take pangas with them? And does he have so much faith in his biwi, that she'll find him soon enough? She hasn't even found his chit yet ... she's too busy sleuthing :(
Mami goes to the temple where Anjali is blissfully sitting in the Aarti for her 'voh' ...
While Khushi has the papers ready for Shyam to sign ... he's taken aback .. isn't she going too fast? And he starts reading them, she can't have that, so she loses her temper ... 'forget it, you're no use, I'll manage on my own, thanks ... I am alone after all ...'
And of course he can't have that ... Bitiya has learned to play the master manipulator as cleverly as he always plays everyone else ... so he signs like a lamb ... including the paper hidden among the divorce papers ...

Okay, I seriously don't get this ... Mami didn't think it was urgent to tell the family that Arnav is kidnapped ... and had to hide it from Anjali because of her pregnancy ... and she doesn't think twice about telling her this? All to set up the MU? And delay our ArHi milan? :x
And how is getting Shyam to sign away his estate to Anjali or Arnav going to be of any use? Arnav isn't dead yet, and the estate hasn't gone to Shyam yet ...
When the stars getting too big for their boots and start demanding storylines, the story goes for a toss. Am not feeling very happy with Daljeet.
The only good thing was, Sanaya had less screen space today, which means she got her rest ... so hopefully back to the rescue tomorrow ... and finally to a good Rabba ve ... feeling starved here!!!

So she might misunderstand Khushi's insistence on staying quiet about the kidnapping.
Shyam's desire for Khushi, and his optimism that she is starting to bend towards him, is making him careless ... Khushi is finding it easier to manipulate him ... she never once tells him she is feeling anything for him per se ... its all about her revenge motive.
Mami's immediate reaction to tell Anjali ... quite in character ... she wanted to tell the family more than once about the kidnapping too. Blames both the outsiders ... Shyam and Khushi.
Arnav doing pushups ... the whole scene was quite funny :) ASR's smirk back, his attitude and confidence ... the KN's getting all hot and bothered ...what if he really runs away? =)) And Arnav's warning .. close the door before you leave :))
Is ASR trying to goad them into calling the Boss here?
NK-Khushi ... Khushi worried about what she's doing ... she doesn't really want Shyam to divorce Anjali yet ... why not? Why would she want Anjali to stay married to such a creepwa?

NK's mention of Sitaphal ... didn't know the mythological story behind it, all I thought of was Sita and phal ... Sita's separation from Ram coming up ... or after watching Mami limping up the stairs to tell Anjali ... is it Manthara filling Kaikeyi's ears and thus causing the Ram-Sita banvaas to the forest? So ArHi are banished together?

She's learned how to manipulate the master manipulator himself ... playing him expertly, like an angler plays his fish, giving him some length, letting him read the first two papers, then reeling him back in by snatching them, and her anger ... 'forget it, you won't do this, I was a fool to trust you ...'
hitting him on his weak spot ... it's taken him forever to get her to trust him again ... he can't break that trust ...
Just as Anjali gets DM's prasad ... and Mami reaches her ...

Anjali laughs it off ... 'He? Divorce me?!' can't happen ...
Mami repeats ... Khushi said best time because Arnav is away ... Anjali can't believe ... so what did he say? Still not believing anything about her KPP ... whatever Khushi said, he won't agree ...
And Mami remembers what Shyam said ... but will she actually say it to Anjali?
And Shyam falls into the trap ... and it clicks shut ... Khushi learned the Art of Getting Counterfeit Papers Signed in Five Easy Steps from the Conman himself ... and he's hoist with his own petard ... signed away sole executorship of his assets to his wife ...

- Shyam's will? He has no assets, won't have till Arnav dies, and even then, not ... because of Arnav's codicil ...
- A POA for his assets, signed over to his wife? ... will Khushi use that as a sword over Shyam's head ... release Arnav because you're not getting his wife, and you won't get his wealth either ... stay quiet and happy with Anjali, otherwise I'll show her the divorce papers ...
Don't think they will dwell too much in all that ... the main purpose was to set up the next MU ... now Bitwa can safely be rescued/break out/ whichever way they take it ...

I was expecting this. If Arnav who has been with Khushi for so long cannot understand her actions, how could mamiji do? I was also expecting Khushi to get the will papers interspersed with the divorce papers so that Shyam signs back the property to ASR. This way he cannot have ASR killed and also lose his wife, so that there is no more hold he can have on the Raizadas. Lets see how Arnav reacts to all the evidence piling up against Khushi.

BS had to be away and they also needed a good reason to get their villain back after OTT guest appearances .... people have again started thinking VLR ads villain rather than a joker .... so once the kidnapping drama ends ... they will just give a reason in an episode that will not require any further questioning on kidnapping drama and will move on with the story which very much makes sense to me ..... accept the fact that I am negative to DB now ..... she was always a mediocre actress to me .... and with all her "the actress in me" drama has really put me off as she faltered completely with her expressions today. It maybe direction, dialogue or anything else but I'm ready to look through them when it comes to SaRun not anyone else.

ReplyDeleteBitiya finds the note..pasta for rs.300 and goes with NK to find some clues. They don't get mcuh and return completely disheartened only to come and face the firing squad with the whole family present.
Meanwhile, Bitwa does his dishum dishum, gets hold of the gun, asks the kidnappers to empty their pockets, gets hold of all their purses for money and cellphones and LOCKS THEM OUT and escapes.
Realizes he cannot go home like this, checks into a hotel does some wardrobe shopping along with the much needed shower, hails a cab and enters.
Meanwhile Khushi is being crucified and almost on the verge of being thrown out and BAMMMMMMMMMM....
Enters apna hero, brushes off everything as a MU OR a Practical joke, insists he was in Scotland, the airline misplaced his luggage, He had a bit of an accident in Scotland and hence the bruises, manages to shut everyone up and remember during the marriage night had left her all alone, this time he tells her, Khushi go to our room and stands as a wall between Khushi and his Murderous looking family.

DB did a wrong move by making her reason for negotiation with PH public .... don't know about others she has completely lost her charm to me BOTH character and actor.... I feel like this MU WAS the original premises .... otherwise there is no other way to hold off ArHi but still there is a nagging feeling .... DB forced it (which is not the case I know I know) but can't help it ..... It's killing the complete kick I would have got from the turn in story.
Gosh, that was such a scary episode...... now m sure that Bitiya and Bitwa wont get time to sort anything...... first the escape then some rabba-ve moments and a bomblast as soon as they reach RM.....

This show was supposed to be titled Vaidehi or Didi ki Saut, isn't it? We are heading in that direction. Didi will consider Khushi as her sautan. Like Sita (Vaidehi), Khushi was put through agni pariksha (their forced marriage)by her Ram (Arnav) to prove that despite that terrace hug she is pure. Although Sita came out of the agni unscathed she was still banished by Ram because of the rumours about her chastity by people. Maybe we may see that Arnav may believe that his Khushi is innocent (like Ram did) but may not try to hold back Khushi when she decides to leave following the allegations against leveled by Anjali/mami.
ReplyDeleteAlternatively he could initially believe what he sees but the MU may be cleared soon by NK, after which he goes into deep repentance but does not stop Khushi from leaving. One can wonder how can he misunderstand her after their heart-to-heart telepathic talk but then did he not still have the MU even after hearing and remembering her heartfelt feelings in an inebriated state when one does not normally lie?
So right now anything is possible, including Khushi asking NK to promise that he will not reveal the entire truth to Anjali because she cannot bear that the man she adored (her chottey) was kidnapped by the man she worshipped (her patidev). She may forgive the man his philandering ways, especially if he makes it seem that Khushi entrapped him with her charms but she will never tolerate that the man dared to kill her brother.

Delete85, i agree what started on 08/05/2012 will come a full circle on 5th Aug. Although when i say full circle i mean arnav's accusations will find an answer in shyam's dhulai. 40 days judgement period again for me this indicated the number days A will take to think things through and confront S. may be there will be a S and K confront viewed by A and then A does S ki proper dhulai.
On another thought though i can also see A completely trusting K when Di and rest of the family start accusing her. Di eventually says that she cant stay with k under the same roof so Arhi leave on 5th Aug.
Yes Teej is shiv parvaati union and will be apt for A K union but somehow i feel Teej is too soon for Arhi union given that di will start throwing tantrum and all.... Although i can see their MU completely clearing (assuming although A has confessed the old MU has not cleared yet). That will be a complete union of two hearts that love each other with no MUs between them.
Ofc if they are banished on 5th aug then they will be together on teej anyway at RM.
Again last three days of navratri (16oct to 23oct 2012). I think around end of sept begining oct is when Anji will get to know the whole truth and will slew the evil.

DeleteYep, Teej is Shiv Parvati union, and it was very significant for Arhi last year ... the first time they started interacting outside of office, the first awareness during the puja, the first hint of jealousy/anger from Khushi when Arnav broke Lavanya's fast ... Parvati is supposed to be very hot-tempered and possessive about her husband ...
Teej may be too soon for ArHi union ... given they they have to have their re-wedding first ... so that I think will happen only around Diwali.
But there will be some significant development in their relationship around this time.
Teej might be more significant for Shyam-Anjali, as they used to renew their vows every year at Teej ... will they do so this year? Or will he be kicked out before that?
Janamashtami in August - will Anjali's baby be born then?

SO what will be her first instinct - like today it will be chottey and how he should not be affected by Shyam agreeing to divorce Di becasue she knows how Arnav will get all worked. And then she will confront Khushi and tell her that for chotey's sake u will stay away from Shyam (somehow I keep thinking of that note in the shaitaan sundari seq that anji laid hands on and what she told Khushi after Arnav left about keeping a secret between them). Anjali either resorts to I know Khushi trapped you and you would never have agreed otherwise else she goes the blackmailing route with him to ensure he behaves. Blackmail appeals to me ;)

And if ArHi decide they have to tackle Shyam together, or that they won't tell Di about the kidnapping, then Arnav won't bother to clear Di's misapprehension either ...

And even now, she has kept her purpose constant - it's Arnav's downfall she wants, and that's what she will accept Shyam's help on, but on her terms ... Shyam has to win her trust first, then only can he progress to her heart ...
Crying and being defeated works on Arnav ... he hates to see her down ... that's why he signed the papers for her :)))

I had expected this overhearing and changing of loyalty at the first K-S confrontation in RM when everyone was supposed to have gone for pooja.And Sandy did mention that Mami seemed a lot cooler in one of the epis last week. Talk about the power of suggestion! Never expected her to blurt it out like this.
Why so soon? *sigh* B’coz viewers should not MU Anji now. We all said she’ll blindly listen to VLR. No, she had first hand info from a trusted relative and so she is justified! Can we atleast hope that Anji will be sensible and guard this secret till she gets enough proof. Actually I am so bugged. This is going to stretch on till Monday now?
The best part in today’s epi: Bitiya hesitating with her plans and then remembers bitwa in danger and hence carries on. Someone said rightly, she has her priorities right.

DeleteDia ur edit is lovely. Hadnt really thought about kaikeyi manthara angle. Arhi banishment is more acceptable than khushi banishment i think. Question being will mami tell anji what Shyam's reply was? If she does how will Anji react? Will she collapse and will the baby's life threatened. Wouldn't want khushi asking for divorce responsible for anji losing her baby. If she loses her baby it has to be because of shyam and shyam alone. The blame should lie only on his shoulders.

He is fabled to be a troubles aker but only to test people's faith and espouse good
There is a story about Narada and threading elephants through the eye of a needle - the way how the Lord can do that is explained with the help of the fruit of the banyan tree which houses multiple seeds and within each seed resides a banyan tree.
Made me think of the 'sitaphal'. A fruit that houses multiple seeds within itself.
This event occured during Ram Sita vanvaas (aranya kaand I think) - Ram had gone into the forest and Sita went out in search of him. Unable to find him, Sita called out to him all the while shedding tears. When they met Ram is said to have consoled and calmed a distrauht Sita.
As they walked back to their home, Ram lifted up a weary Sita in his arms and enquired why she ventured out alone.
In a week, saplings grew in the places where Sita's tears fell when she went looking for Ram and where drops of Ram's sweat had fallen during their return. Saplings born from Sita's tears bore fruits called Sitaphal and saplings born from Ram's sweat bore fruits called Ramphal, the male counterpart of the Sitaphal.
Upon reaching the ashram, they met Lakshmana who was concerned for them and was anxiously awaiting their return. He was chided by Rama for leaving Sita alone.
Ironically Sitaphal is green (same colour that Khushi likes) and the Ramphal is red (Arnav's fav colour)
Phal also reminds me of the Gita - "Karm kiye jaa phal ki ichcha mat kar!" - What you sow so shall you reap!

Why are they not able to highlight things in a better manner....or is it their strategy? Them being guarded on the actual twist in the track...not able to decide where it is gud or bad

For now, the high point is the milan. Showing anything else in the promo would give their game up is my thought.
There were a few more things in yday's epi that caught my attention
1. the Chandni Chowk Devi Mayya mandir - came up at Teej last year I think.
Plus Mami climbed from the road to the temple in pain.
2. Anjali is the executor - Shyam's executor has been named. From now on, she will first need to clear her vision of impurities, bring in auspiciousness into herself and finally armed with the knowledge and wisdom execute the man who has deceived her.
Anjali may react misguidedly but I have a good feeling about how this is all going to go. ASR is going to be the maverick ace ; the googly in the whole upcoming story.
I am trying to cystallize some thoughts around
Narada - Parvati - Shiva - clue to finding each other
Shiva - Parvati tapasya for their actions (Parvati for Sati's actions in her past and to try and understand why Shiva did penance for her. Shiva for being unable to prevent Sati's destruction)
Shiva's Rudra Tandava when Sati immolated herself
Shiva's burning down of Kamadeva (Cupid) for trying to influence him
Parvati's declaration of why only Shiva can and will be her soulmate
The marriage of Shiv and Parvati to bring down Tarakasura
SN: Shiva Parvati have been one of my all time favs - thanks to Amar Chitra Katha :)
Talking about Ashoka Vatika reminded me of Vaidehi and hence the thoughts below. Take the spirit of the thought not the actual happening and sequence.
Delete1. Anjali's life so far has been like her being in an Ashoka Vatika (A-shoka = without shok / unhappiness). She is the Janaki who was adopted by Mama Mami
She is the Mythili who was chereished by her Nani and her brother
She thinks herself to be the Sita lucky to have a husband like Ram in her life (Sita was won by Ram in a Swayamvar and Anjali's hand was 'won' / taken by Shyam in some such public circumstances)
She then became pregnant with her husband's child and her world was complete
2. She is now or soon going to be in pain, held captive because of her unacceptance of Ravana and expects Ram to rescue her from this Lanka.(alomost like the Raavan story that Mani Ratnam made where the Ram is in reality the dark character)
3. She seems to be at the point now where she will have to give an agni-pareeksha; trial by fire
4. She has complete faith that "her lord" will accept her wholeheartedly after this and they will return home to their kingdom. And they did for a short while.
5. But in the actual story, Ram abandoned a pregnant Sita who lived in a hermitage to give birth to Lav and Kush

Then came a day he realized Peter Pettigrew was alive and his target was Harry Potter. Realizing the urgency to get to Harry and protect him, Sirius Black decided to escape from Azkaban. He returned weakened and even though Harry initially was terrified of him, together they managed to unmask teh true face of Peter Pettigrew.
Peter Pettigrew was scum that had been in hiding waiting for the right time so that he would not be accused of treachery. He needed to be sure of the direction of the tides before raising his head.

DeleteEither Arnav will support Khushi and both will leave RM (less probably scenario since Daljeet said in her interview that future episodes will focus on the brother-sister envious bond again).. or Anjali might go into a shock and somehow harm her baby (maybe!) and hence, Arnav will become illogical again and Khushi will be kicked out of RM.

This is highly frustrating, if it is true that the writers gave in to daljeet's demand IMO this is unprofessional, have never seen anything like this. They do remember that this is a love story right? Well I hope they do. First bs movie and then now db's demand of screen space, I wish they should let her go. I mean the actors are not the boss of the writers right? It's the other way around. ~cheng

We are assuming that Daljeet has hastened the plot....what shud've happened after a couple of months is happening now, when we are not sure if ASR-KKG MU is clear or not....
also i had assumed that the drama will be something on the lines of Anjali feeling insecure cause she is not the most important person in her chotte's life anymore and that they have started hiding things from her....this will create a rift between khushi-anjali and shyam will add his poison to it.... Anjali thinking of Khushi having an affair with Shyam is a googly, esp after she saw the way Khushi was missing Arnav when he left for london/scotland...
I asked this Qn on the Rangmunch article and I ask again. Arnav / ASR already had his chance between Di and Khushi and he chose Di.

ok..I am going to be blatantly honest..I am not having good feelings towards Daljeet Bhanot. Or, as somebody mentioned above, if she hadn't declared the fact that she negotiated with the CVs public, maybe I would have felt slightly better towards her. Because its obvious, the story is being manipulated to suit her needs...

I hope things dont get as ugly as they had been when RP had issues abt her character and storyline.. atleast I can say that her frustration then was valid, since MJHT was supposed to be about two love stories.. here, the name itself suggests 'iss pyar ko kya naam doon?' meaning, the crux of the show IS and will ALWAYS be a love story... agree, it is also abt the bro-sis raizadas...but that is probably the second most imp thing...not the first..I don't understand why she is making such a fuss.. I dont see the other veteran actors in the show saying anything..or even if they are, its not reaching the public ears..
anyhow, if I were to ignore the fact that daljeet was behind the introduction of this sudden twist and MU in the show and just imagine that this is what the writers intended to show in the first place, even then...some things make absolutely no sense to me -
1. like dia said, how come mami has all of a sudden stopped using her brains? she has seen with her own eyes how worried khushi is abt arnav missing.. plus she knows that arnav is kidnapped..what abt the strong bonding they shared a couple of weeks ago? Now I can understand why they suddenly stopped the bonding b/w the two of them and why they kept mami out of the loop of all the khushi-NK sluething.. they were probably building up for this... chalo, woh bhi understandable hai, ki mami is not expected to choose parayi ladki over her family..obviously she will first believe in her own family..care abt her own family.. still, its irritating and hurtful to see that khushi lost the trust of even mami.
2. what has making shyam sign the divorce pprs got to do with him taking her towards the plc where arnav is kidnapped? or is it just to make him believe her even more that she is out for revenge? I can understand her making him sign the will (however illogical it may be) to ensure that she rights the wrong she has done... but divorce? and then worrying that di doesnt find out about this? if her motive is to keep di away from shyam because he is evil, then she has to tell di..and if her motive is to protect di because she wont be able to tolerate this 'sadma'..then what good is making shyam signing the divorce pprs going to do? :S

Now IPKKND is all about shades of love - different kinds (akin to the movie Love Actually). The love story is the binding thread of the plot whatever maybe the circumstances so it is not getting sidelined.
DB's grouse with PH should have been about being shown preggers in the show I think. She is yet to have a baby bump and by the 5th / 6th month u have to start showing.
Rest these drama quotients were always meant to happen. Why now - well am sure there is something good around the corner.

DeleteMy first reaction to DB ‘s notice was the same, it’s going to be on lines with RP , although when DB was signed- it was Di ki saut " so she would have been a parallel lead but not a main one just like RP..
One more thing that surprised me was PH agreeing to it, even when the DB fan base isn't as strong as RP.
May be they did have this track in mind all along, but had to get it fore front because of DB.
And agree with you on the logical part of mami going head fast with telling Anji even if it’s in her character, but she does tend to be smart and analysing also , why did they not show her even once to think how K could do this ? What I saw few days back is truth or now what I am seeing truth? In any case Anji should be warned ?? I would have accepted the MU more easily .
And don't ask for reasons of divorce, I have been breaking my head with a reason, only logical thing I can get this case is in case something happens to Arnav , and Shyam claims to be the sole owner of the property, than she can get these papers out and say that he had signed it which is latest changes along with the divorce papers which will give Anji her rights and get her out of his hold...
Since they don't know of the conditions laid by Arnav in regards to his will.
I really wish with all these legal things she would have even signed a paper stating she takes no claims or rights in Arnav's property. That would be "sone pe shuaga" , and throw back at Mrs ASR.
Now with the breaking the bond b/w mami and khushi - they might even show arhi MU .. I have lost the faith in the tele convo of Arhi also..
the only hope there I have is , that they can't have one more MU as well as Arhi separation together and lose the whole set of non saas bhau viewers...
Aaru : assuming that they signed the paper, incase something happens to ASR, that means she doesnt want to save ASR, she just doesnt want Shyam to get the property, doesnt make much sense........i think she was trying to goad him to believe that she wants ASR alive and to win her trust he will have to release ASR unharmed.....so that she can hurt ASR and then he can win her.......but why the signing of WILL thats still a question mark...

also think of it this way, Khushi was stained because of Shyam (grease stain).... to remove the stain, she has to scrub herself hard, during the process she will get hurt...but eventually she will cleanse herself of all the dirt....
this is the only thought thats consoling me from the day Anji saw Khushi feeding Kheer to Shyam

Especially the part where Khushi washes her face with rose water and then Arnav comes looking for her and she tells him how she feels around him. He carries her back to the polside and washes away the colour on her face.

DeleteMads and cheng ... as others have already said, I don't think DB's threats would make the writers change the entire storyline ... at most, they might have have made them either bring in her MU a little early ... or more likely, she might not want to go too grey and there may have been issues about that.
DeleteThe Arnav vs Anjali track was always on the cards ever since the tentative title was known - Didi ki Sout ... a brother will have a tough time to choose, but he will have to make that choice for sure ...
Also, in the initial story sketch, it was actually the brother-sister bond that was center of the story, and how the entry of the heroine changes it ... the love story took off because of the unprecedented chemistry of the leads and took complete center stage.
I remember a very heated discussion with a couple of MJHT friends, who were not keen that Sanaya do this show, because the outline of the story at that time seemed to indicate that the brother and sister would be the main focus, and Khushi would only be a catalyst, she would be the love interest but nothing more than that. So that must be what Daljeet was promised as well - she would not be the main romantic lead, but she would be one out of four main leads, the fourth being Shyam. Look at it that way, and yes, she has been short-changed in terms of character - the other three have shown major growth and changes, while she has diminished as a character if anything ... and because of this need for Arhi and Shyam to hide everything major from Di, she has been pretty much sidelined in the recent track, and the GH one before that too.
Dunno if that was her major crib ... in which case it is justified and I for one, would welcome Di doing more than just cry and have hysterics ... if she would turn grey, it would be interesting, and as we discussed, such a devout woman could never turn black, so this would give her character some room for growth ...
But if it was all about the baby bump, I have no sympathy for her ... as a married woman, she should have been prepared for that one. Either way, making this discussion so public wasn't in very good taste and has diminished my regard for her ... so you will probably see me picking more holes in Anjali's character and DB's acting from now on! :))) I'm mean!!!

Heroines in telly land have a short shelf life...there are main leads in 2 serials max and then they are MA to someone just a couple of years younger than them...I am not saying that is fair...i am only saying thats how their industry works so not having bargained for a baby bump in a married woman's role is the height of delusion...

I am waiting to see if they play some more with Arnav finding the KN's phone the first time round. He could always ring up the number Boss and have heard Shyam's voice or he sees the no and knows its Shyam. Is that the sudden need to push the pawns to give up the king. And yep by the time ladies come home, NK and Khushi are missing in search of Arnav. When they all get back, or maybe NK gets back first, ArHi later RM is in an explosive state.
I am feeling the buzz after a long time.
SN: The will is a joke because none of this matters. It is only a sutradhar in taking the story forward. For Shyam it will always have to be a choice between AR wealth and Khushi.
My guess on why divorce papers was kinda there. Of course the undoing earlier sign matters but Shyam let go of the bird in hand for the one he saw in the bush. ANd now he will be in a hurry to dispose of Arnav?
Sandy, I do hope that Arnav's sudden return of confidence is not just because of BS's return, but because Arnav has figured out who the Boss is :))) Because they did make it clear that KN didn't get his phone back, he bought a new one. Hopefully Arnav has been putting some of his mechanic skills to good use!
DeleteIf we're talking about loops, when Khushi and NK went to get ghee for the havan, Arnav followed them, listened to their explanations, then sent NK back home so that he could have some alone time with wifey ;)
So this time too, NK-Khushi go looking for Arnav, find him, Arnav hears their story about how no one except Mami know he's been kidnapped ... and HOPEFULLY that Shyam is the KN ... Arnav dispatches NK back home to soothe everyone, so that he can go somewhere and clean up, and he doesn't want to alarm the gharwalas - or Di ... and get his alone time with wifey of course! :)))
Am looking forward to the post-finding Arnav part ... until he is found, we can guess what happens, but we have no clue what will happen after that ...
And agree, the signing of papers was just a red herring ... doesn't mean anything much, because anyway Arnav is coming back alive!

ReplyDeleteSandy love the mytho ki baarish and hope ki ek dhuwadhaar baarish IPK mein bhi ho. All they need to do is call a round table conference with all RM vaasis and GH vaasis and thrash out the MUs but ausa hoga nahi warna humein drama kaise milega?
Bhagavat gita was narrated by krushna to arjuna just before the kurukshetra war coz Arjuna was not sure if he was doing the right thing or not. Krishna through his narration convinced Arjuna that it was the right thing to do. Arnav and khushi's stary convo where K tell A ye toe vishwas ki baat. The one thing that A really lacks is vishwas and he has had that narration now. Although arjuna was convinced that its the right thing to do after the narration he was never completely happy with the war with fighting his own. Similarly although A now has the much needed vishwas it will be hard for him to fight/go against his di and R family and stand bu khushi but stand by her he will coz that is the right thing to do.
I also felt that mami telling anji the truth was a bit like hanumaan lagaoing aag in lanka with his tail. Mami ne chingari toe laga di hai aur chingari will become a full blown fire and lead to a war. It's a matter of time.
Arjuna is responsible for bhishma demise. Bhishma was very happy that it was arjuna who freed him of his shapath. Shapath that had become a curse for him. Similarly, arnav will be the one to reveal the truth to Anji (although anji might even hear Shyam gloating about it) and anji although heartbroken will be relieved to come out of the marriage that has absolutely no meaning to it.

Sandy...Narada means a wisdom giver......will mami dig deeper to get to the wisdom of things...narada had an inimitable style of letting his wisdom take shape....he had the advantage of knowledge and used it to let Lord's will prevail....Will mami uses her nosiness or nardaness to let DM's will prevail?

DeleteAbsolutely! I do believe so that mami with her nosiness though seemingly making trouble will actually make way for DM's will or good to happen. And she is like Narad na - making gossip, doing chugli but always meaning well and no real harm at the end of the day.
The other reason Narad appeals is because of the Hari Mukh incident with Narad which resulted in him cursing Vishnu with separation from his wife in one of his avatars and only a moneky being able to help him save his wife and bring them together (Ram - Sita - Hanuman) :)
Plus Shiva initially rebukes and rejects Parvati due to her darkness. When she is heartbroken on being separated from him, it is Narada who preaches to her about doing sincere penance to attain Shiva eventually leading to Shiva accepting Parvati.
This is one thing about IPK which fascinates me. Maybe teh writer is influenced maybe not but I am able to connect to the serial on the lines of music, movies, myth and it just makes it all so much more fun and appealing.

For one like Narad she needs to talk and know about everything around herself, hence her step towards inbestigation when K left her out of loop.
Like Narad when she knows the things she needs to go and confied the truth to the person concerned, she did exactly that, she never thought the consequences and that is what not sitting good with ... Agree today she got the shock of her life and she is emotional. But at least a small dil/dimaag thinking and justification to the bond they had for those few days!!
But ones she will know about the truth she isn't going to stop.
Like Narad she will guide Anji to penance to attain the forgiveness from both khushi and arnav..
Sandy agree - for me too its fascination to connect to different aspects of knowledge which we have gained thru experencing our life.

So much has happened from then.That was a time when ASR was aware of his feelings, but he did not know of her feelings. He was taking a risk by confessing to her, because she had not responded after diwali. Remember how he tried to get “ILU” out of her after her kiss. He was desperate to get to know about her feelings.
Now, the whole Arhi equation has changed, even though Khushi never got to prove her innocence. ASR has not got any new proof that his dil speaks the truth more than his dimag. Still, something happened between the airport and the Arhipathy.(Of course lots! What I mean is there has been introspections on both sides.)
ASR’s introspection started in the GH after he witnessed 2 convos( with friends and Garima) which made him see Khushi in a different light. His thought process STARTED there. Her explanation of the terrace scene, he desperately wanted to believe, but she could not explain the hug and the dialogue. He still wanted to give her a chance to prove herself, which is why he came out of the airport….That last dialogue:” Why am I feeling like this about leaving her?” –him looking at HIS FEELINGS.
Kidnap chair fbs: she has cared for him in so many ways.
That ILU- maybe “I LOVE YOU, KHUSHI even though I don’t know if you love me as much as I love you”.
The hut scene- his realization that she loves him back, that is why she took the trouble to come looking for him and was willing to give herself to him. And he knew her love would make her sacrifice even her safety, hence the hit on her head.
Teri- meri: beautiful realization explained so well by you and Ayesha.
We have discussed all this over and over again. We don’t have ASR’s introspection,(which will remain a mystery for some more time) so it is all ‘MAYBE’
But the last Arhipathy, both of them are CLEAR about their feelings for each other. Now they are seeing that the feelings are MUTUAL. ( They know this in their hearts, but it may not be evident when they actually meet in person. I think they will still be shy about their feelings when they meet next)
Therefore, shall we put ASR to test again and see how he fares this time?

I feel Khushi will walk out of his life and save him from the dilemma of choosing between Di and her.
Remember the last scene inTM2: She walks away and he looks on unbelievingly. He may not even know the real reason behind her leaving.

They’ve screwed up big time with NK in the loop and jumping to Anji MU. I take back my words.
I bow to the CVs’ wisdom because I’ve been proven wonderfully wrong before too.
Remember, I wrote about the MU clearing in 2 steps and how they had jumped 2 steps at one go. I remember you writing that 2 steps may have made more sense. Actually it doesn’t. Remember the silent treatment Khushi gave ASR(B&B). It lasted only for one day. That was actually the best among all the methods she had chosen. Do you know why the CVs made her revert back to OTT?
The silent Khushi would have been unbearable for ASR and he would have realized his feelings then and there in another 2 days. If the MU had cleared in 2 steps, Khushi would have kept out of his way out of guilt and that would have made him seek her out. I feel they are jumping 2 steps here also, but there is a reason for it. We will find it retrospectively. (Just like there is a reason for mami being the one to inform Anji.)
To answer your Q, you yourself answered the importance of Anji in IPK.
After Arhi, I feel the best character they’ve developed is mami’s. Maybe she will be the first one to realize her mistake when the explosion settles down. The trouble maker might be the trouble shooter ultimately for the rest of the family.

Khushi’s fake bubbly behaviour, ASR’s confused look, the entire car convo where he repeats the gold digger dialogue- it is like the same sequence replayed after the suicide terrace. Recently someone in R&R had mentioned that events repeat with Arhi. So true! Even after the highway confrontation, ASR had told her that she is now inventing a new story to trap him. But he so desperately wanted to believe her now.
Actually I felt bad for ASR after watching the diwal epis. Poor guy, he kept denying the truth about his love and the day he decided to accept it and confess it, the whole gold digger angle was thrown on his face again and added to it the ‘di ki souten’ shock. Almost felt like he is justified in doing what he did. The contract wedding has been an equal torture for him and now he has to go through RTR also! He has to bear the cross twice over!
He’d better think twice before MUing her again.* wicked smile*

and now when there will be proof against her (mami overhearing the wrong things, her getting the signatures etc etc) - i just know ODB will not MU her anymore
More than anything else - it was his own past, his own insecurities that had led to it - now that he knows and believes in his love for her - there will be no more MUs!! :D:D:D
