By the way, there is a fallacy in our TRP's and Tuesday theory. Apparently the week's TRP's are collected Mon-Sunday and it takes two days for different agencies to calculate and average them out.
Latest TRP's - 2.8 Same as last week :( I think viewers are sick of the dragged kidnapping track, it had better wind up ASAP now that Barun is back to the shoot! And we need some romance - always a sure-shot method to raise TRP's :)
Also, TRP's are calculated based on peopleometers installed in all of 15,000 households. Which in a country of over a billion people, and at least a few million tv sets, is really no useful criterion at all. It's been criticized by a number of producers and people in the business as well, and apparently there are efforts to make it more representative of the actual viewing situation. But till the TV channels and PH's find a new and better way of recording TRP's over a wider subset of the population, this faulty system will stay.

Yes My CCKKP moment too was you taught me to trust in your beliefs. And then when she calls out "Arnavi" rather than DM as she did in the first epi or she usually does when she is in trouble. And like DM sent her doot Arnav then, Arnav sent his doot Nanhe.
NK's character seems to have shades of Lakshman to in certain scenarios.
One thing I agree with u girls Anji MUing K and K getting hurt is not possible together. Rather she gets hurt first and shyam with all his new found love (DDR of MH&S) is also shown restless further fuelling Anji's suspicions. And then the whole Anji MUing K happens in a big dramatic way.
As for main Di Ki Khushi ke liye aoni Khushi ko
1. Arnav has already done it once for Anjali. At this time his Khushi was a happy life with Khushi
2. Now if he does it it will be for the sake of Di's Khushi = Nanhi Khushi
At this time it seems likehis happiness will be being around his Di when she is about to deliver but he will have to give up on that
WHy he keeps quiet? - Well he now believes in Khushi's beliefs and Khushi once made a promise to Anji before DM that she would neve let any harm come to Anji's married life and that combined with some drama in the pegnancy again puts the brakes on ArHi revealing anything to Ani (just like at the wedding they separtaely ahd to be silent because of Nanhi Khushi, now they will jointly have to be silent because of Nanhi Khushi). CHances are Arnav comes back - his kidnapping is revelaed Anji has a miscarriage scare and famliy is on alert. Plus this will give Anji another instance of Khushi hiding things from her and also some leeway for wrangle from Shyam to get further into her good books by telling Ani that he was only helping Khushi.
" Anji MUing K and K getting hurt is not possible together"...agree Sandy...K getting shot now and Anji-K MU happen sometime later - i feel it is too soon to happen now(she saw S-K together only twice as of now)...after some more such incidents that fuels her mind...so many big twists ek saath nahi ho sakte or should i say nahi hone chahiye...

Dia am happy TRP is constant.....that means they have managed to keep the regular audience hooked with their good work ....cause they were 2.8/2.9 before kinapping track started too ....2nd and 3rd week it was 2.3 and 2.5 but was IPL showdown and aftermath....&they really should play promo right .....last one din't play out as it looked .....or is it yet to play out completely??
And agree with the 15,000 part ....din't know about before you discussed it last time ....seemed like a joke to me.

God, when are they going to get ASR back? ( I am even wondering if I should expect Shyam instead of ASR with Khushi when the title is played. Sorryyy…, DDR…Even that big bottle of dettol is getting over now!) Poor Khushi…She must be using up buckets of dettol.
I have said this before. Will ASR ever know how painful it is for her to even be in the same room as VLR?

If you look at the episode, there is no progress in the story at all. After Arhipathy, it was all about lecherous Shyam, and if the Cvs want to prolong it even after Barun’s return, may be it is an important track.
I am wondering if Shyam heard her calling out for ASR in the dark. I still have a weird feeling that he is trapping her.

If Shyam is revealed to Anjali now there is no hope for romance for sometime.
It will be histrionics. The truth cannot be kept only from Anjali. How will the other family members react? This is why I felt Shyam wil not be revealed.

So then, will he be revealed as the kidnapper to ASR? If that happens, ASR will not sit quiet because he will realise his di’s life is in danger too. He has to take some action.
And that will end up in histrionics again.
So then, will K keep quiet?
Unlikely, because she has vowed to not keep things from him again. And again it will be a mistake because she now knows how dangerous he is now.
How will Khushi keep quiet?
1.She gets shot- good bye, romance track.
2.Shyam blackmails her – even then I think she should tell ASR.
3.She is proved wrong.- How concrete is her evidence? The PP and the Boarding pass- looks pretty concrete. But that was one hell of a confusing scene for me.
‘Keys under the carpet’ and ‘NK- filler+ blooper’- No, I’ll not get started again.
I’ll shut up and pray that the CVs will move on.

Aaru Anji MUing K will not play out so soon .... cvs always take their own sweet time to develop things ... and this just started ....another thing is that they maintain the storyline .... they may change track like the kidnapping track .... like the office track changed to home .... before kidnapping track made rounds... i think in Weird Raj's interview he said they are working on Khushis realization which is the most difficult ..... they did introduce kidnapping track but its focus has been on khushis realization only ..... change in Arnav would have happened this way or other, it has been there ever since Holi but not executed to any result due to overstretched OTT drama ... after knowing khushi hates Shyaam .... Arnav could just not have remained same.

Anjali has somehow always trusted Khushi but perhaps needs to learn to love her unconditionally
Her possessiveness over her brother and her need to have a happily ever after need to come into play.

I am actually yo yoin between Arnav choosing Khushi over Anji or choosing Anji over Khushi - there are arguments for both and the latter actually seems more feasible given the past except that I don't think I can take another judaai between ArHi though they may have a starry connection...

Khushi: "Humein chot na pahunche isliye aap apne aap ko chot pahuncha rahein hain"
Maybe Khushi chooses to break the marriage with Arnav to dupe SHyam further and blurts out about it being a 6 month wedding only. The ultimate carrot for Shyam making him think he has a chance fair and squaare to get her into his life (DDR of MH&S..eww!!)
When the KN track climaxes, Shyam will realize he can never have Khushi and he will do what Arnav did in the past - If she cannot be mine I will not let her be your either.
He will tell the family about the forced marriage and Arnav will fess up completely. Khushi will want to speak the truth to protect Arnav but he will take it all upon himself and hide the trigger for the whole forced marriage.
Families in a tizzy and Anji will be more pro Khushi (aap humein chinta na ho isliye toh chupaa nahi rahe ho) and the focus for a while is on ArHi.
And wedding happens properly:
- people are listening to music
- Buaji speaks of ghar ko laut ke aao (Khushi will need to go to maayka b4 she comes back)
- baalon main gajra, aankhon main kajra
And weddings are khataknaak in IPK because something always seems to happen at weddings. Khushi's grihapravesh has happened already s chances ar she will not come to RM after this wedding.
and besides Arnav will need to live upto
See the problem with the TRP audience....if at all there is one.....the moment Arnav chooses Anji over Kh...., it will be fine becos of that bhai-behen family wala bandhan.... (& they show that he did it under duress)win-win situation for the bhabhis and nanadhs...bhabhi(wife) happy that Arnav did it under duress and mom-nanadh happy that sis-bro bond won...

Thought the characters are 4 only 3 of them are directly linked of whom only one is key. The 4th character is always linked through the central character to the others. (Shyam Khushi connection is non existent so dont even bring it up) And Arnav and Khushi always shared an unspoken bond which bridgd that void.
Anjali is central to all
COming back to love and trust:
Shyam and Anjali have always had it
Arnav and Anjali have always had it
Khushi and Anjali have always had it (yes since day 1 Anjali has always embraced Khushi with love and trusted her)
The void between Arnav and Khushi has been their unspoken bond which today finally seems to be gettng a form and shape and they are coming closer.
The Arnav Khushi relationship has already been tested
The Anjali Khushi relationship has been tested to some extent post wedding
But the 2 relations left untouched are Arnav Anjali and Anjali Shyam
SO now I think it is time for the Arnav Anjali relationship of unconditional love and trust to be challenged as well as the Anjali Khushi relationship test to be complete. This would mean a dil vs dimaag of Anjali for if Arnav is her dil, Shyam is her dimaag and essentially it would lead to Arnav vs. Shyam - a game of chess between 2 kings
It also makes Arnav face up to his bigegst nightmare which is his Di leaving him just like his mother.
SN: I know everyone feels that Anji's character does not gel with Anjali Arnav rift but never forget under that gentle exterior is a will of steel.
There are ways and means to do this withou compromisign or making her character gray. Just let them not assasinate that vision the bubblia way
2 scenes that come to mind are:
at the Arnav La engagement breakup - Agar bataa sakta toh bataa deta di
after the Arnav Khushi wedding - aapn kahan shaadi karlo toh kar li au tum kuch nahi kahoge chotey
They could do a reverse where Anjali thinking it is in the best interest of her bro to nip a burgeoning discretion from shyam's end and in a desperate attempt to try and keep her perfect family together decided to leave RM for her own house. SHe has been having these ideas but Shyam has always put aid to them. What if she finds a way to manipulate him to agree and the only way he would is to be assured that by doing so the Raizada money (in Anjali's or her baby's name) will be his.
We keep thinkign Khushi goes Arnav goes, maybe Anjali goes. (at rakhi her bro in a fit of anger had called it his house and that is when she had gone missing, maybe history repeats itself?!)
And i am sure ARHI are not making it easy for u....

At their wedding what could hapen is a CD of a Khushi Shyam convo makes its way to Anjali where Shyam incriminates himself professing his love for Khushi. Or like you say she will see Shyam and Khushi where Shyam incriminates himself at the cusp of her brother getting married. That will break Anji's heart and that moment will get imprinted in her mind. (On one hand brother is getting married to the girl he loves and who loves him. On the other her husband is making improper advances - well she should go tell Arnav but am guessing she will but will end up getting stopped just like he did)

You like this thot - good. The more I think of it the more it appeals to me. Because then it is not Arnav having to choose b/w Anjali and Khushi (he already went through that test and he chose Anjali) but Anjali having to choose between Shyam and Arnav and she will end up choosing Shyam (it will be a combination of the Mandodari and the Gaandhaari in her). But later on when she has to think as a mother (her child's or Arnav's as a Vaidehi) she will mete punishment to Shyam.
And yes the Arnav Anjali relationship will shed some of its protectiveness obsessions. I always wondered why they showed the behna sisters right after IPK in the ad with a tagline "Raksha ki ummeed hameshaa bhaaiyyon se hi kyun kee jaati hai" - this scenario answers it :D

DeleteIf the story is outlined well at their level, I am makign a BIG SHIDDAT that they tighten delivery and execution.
As I was writing to UJ, I realized that thought we all keep saying no character growth in Anji, she has ben passive, noworry for Arnav what is that passiveness was meant to be character growth? I doubt it would have struck many that it was indeed that.
I am hoping they do not go the miscarriage way - cliched per telly land rather she has the child on Janmashtami much like Kanha and Yashoda's son who were born on the same night and then swapped.
And for whatever reasons it is the Yashoda ma Khushi who has to bring up this baby rather than his Devaki ma Anjali. (Ties of the heart are stronger than ties of the blood)

Aaru and Sandy I agree that shyam will poison anj's thought process. Like you guys I don't want to see Arhi separation just yet and I am sure if us arhians can't bear this the mango janta will go berserk over it. Moreover I think A and K need time to revel in their new found courage to express what they have always felt. On the contrary Anj and Arnav's relation has never shown to be tested and I think I would love to see anj's turmoil between arnav and Shyam....
ReplyDeletePlus as you have said another separation between Arhi will be repetitive. A and K have realised their feelings. What purpose will the next separation serve? If the separation is between Arhi and Anj it will at least serve the purpose of bonding them better together. It also help to open her eyes that he is a married man now and she has to learn to give them space. I think giving space to Arhi and accepting that she comes after khushi in A life will be very hard on Anj and can bring out a lot is shades, emotions and tugs....

It could be lovers or bro-sis, but love is an ehsaas that transends gender and relationships. It is ust love.
The lovers love has been tested. Is not the bro sis love the other most critial pillar in this story and though it seems strong and robust to look at perhaps there is a hollowness within which needs to be dealt with and the pillar rebuilt.
Anjali is ok with Khushi taking over as primary aretaker of Arnav - the post airport and during KN scenes where Anjali told Khushi that now there is someone who cares for her chotey more than herself. And if she loves him asshe is shown to, she will only be happy he has his soul mate. Hence I thought about it ina different way wherein the MU is actually Shyam Anjali i.e. just like her brother, Anjali thinks Shyam is straying towards Khushi her bro's wife. Her bro has just found happiness after going through so much. WOuld she want it destroyed - No. Would she want to trouble him with her nagging doubts of Shyam - No.
She will choose to protect him from it all just like a mother does even if it means hurting him. He once said to her he will let go all his happiness for his Di but to prevent him from doing exactly that she will hide it all from him and move away with Shyam.
And no it is not about strength of mind and will power yet. Ity will be the emotional mother here. The will power of a woman scorned will come later.
Now whether they keep the baby or she miscarries is to be seen dring this hungaama.

Rekha I don't think we are trying to say ask him which relation is more important. That for any man or woman is hard to answer. It's hardly idealistic IMO to consider that the single most important relation and loyalty in life is to your husband/partner/love. Even if your partner is wrong it's for you to deal with behind the closed doors not in front of the world.
ReplyDeleteEssentially what I'm trying to say is that although both the relations ate important one has to learn to strike a balance. Anji has to learn to give space which is a real life situation. Newly married couples living in joint family, typical mama's boy.... It's hard to give space. That relation has to be tested. It's about learning to giving each relation it's due respect and IMO husband wife relation comes above every other relation. It's not about A making a choice but standing by his wife (like Anj would stand by her hubby before the whole truth is revealed to her purely because she believes in hubby wife relation).

DeleteYours is a valid point and if you thin kabout it they did show Anji learning to adapt in the time since the wedding till Arnav went missing. She was initially the KMH who kept tapkoing but then gradually during the OTT swami and 101 ways she had faded into the background. And then when Khushi was worried about no call from Arnav that day inArHi room, Anjali openly aknowledged that Khushi perhaps cared more about Arnav than her.
And that is why they have not shown Anji worrying her head over no calls from him like at mehendi because she has handed over heramaanat / her chotey to Khushi and she an see Khushi is all worried about him.
The game Khushi is playing with Shyam now is going to lead to
that scene where Khushi when massagin oil into Anji's hair tlls her to open her eyes and also to the scene when Arnav went missing of Khushi telling Anjali that her intention was not to hurt Anjali.

Agree with Sandy that the lovers relationship has been tested enough, and the point of this whole track was to establish the trust between ArHi. Which has been done -
Arnav's words 'mujhe iss vishwas par vishwas hai"
Two relationships left - Arnav-Anjali and Anjali-Shyam. Agree completely that there is no Khushi-Shyam so consign that to dustbin straightaway! Happily!!!
Also agree that Anjali has stepped back as the dominant figure in Arnav's life - I was re-reading the Feb post "Rama Rama Kya Hai Drama" where we first discussed the possibility of Anjali turning grey out of overpossessiveness, but UJ pointed out that Anjali has actually adapted and acknowledged that Khushi cares for Arnav even more than maybe she does.
Now with this backdrop, and we also have NK and Mami also ready to vouch for Khushi's love for Arnav, also Nani knows that Khushi was ready to hide things from Anjali for her own health ...
So pretty much everyone in RM has seen Khushi's love for Arnav.
The story that Khushi told Shyam - I said that it has the virtue of being true at almost all levels ... unfortunately it also has the disadvantage of being true at all levels ... Khushi has ample reason to hate Arnav, and ample reason to have play-acted all her love to convince the family to be accepted ...
So Shyam can create a rift between Arnav and Khushi through that. But unlikely that Arnav will believe it, because NK is a backup to vouch for how Khushi cringed from Shyam, plus the changed ArHi equation itself would be of no point if he could believe that.
Would Anjali believe it?
Khushi wants to return that 2 lakhs to Anjali immediately. Can Shyam convince Anjali that Khushi is out for revenge and monetary gain?
So I think the question is not going to be about Arnav having to choose between Anjali and Khushi, but about Anjali having to choose between Shyam and Khushi. And believing Khushi's story or Shyam's.
Again, I was the one who said that Anjali will blindly believe Shyam rather than Khushi.
But will she?
Going back to that Feb post, we saw for a little while, an Anjali who can keep Shyam under her thumb, an Anjali who does what she feels is right regardless of what Shyam says about it.
And if Shyam tries to poison her that Khushi was after him, Anjali would do exactly the same thing she did after the wedding - push Arnav Khushi closer together. Because Anjali doesn't want her picture perfect world breaking apart.
BUT if Shyam is able to convince Anjali that Khushi is after Arnav for revenge, and for his money, then the mother in Anjali would come to the fore ... she would try to persuade Arnav to leave Khushi not because of Shyam, but because Khushi is not right for him. And I think Shyam would try to play down the relationship between him and Khushi, because Anjali is his golden goose. He would rather play up the revenge angle - that would achieve his purpose of keeping in Anjali's good books and breaking Arhi apart.

Keeping it simple, the thoughts above were:
The zabardast twist will be
1. Arnav wil not MU Khushi
2. Anjali will not MU Khushi or rather be miffed with her for a short while for hiding the truth
3. Anjali will not have to choose between Shyam and Khushi
4. Arnav will not have to choose between Anjali and Khushi
5. It is Anjali who will have to choose between Arnav and Shyam and she will choose Shyam (like Mandodari and Gaandhaari)
Arnav and Anjali's relationship which is perceived to be strong will be tested and maybe it will withstand the test but it will be under a strain for a while. Anjali on knowing the truth that Shyam is cheating will tey and protect her Arnav as a mother would (she could try to tell him teh truth but in a reverse of Payash wedding but maybe he tells her he is so happy and all that she keeps quiet to not bursy his bubble. But she needs to protect Khushi and therefore him and she can only do that by separating SHyam and Khushi and thereby Arnav and herself.
Anjali will never make Arnav choose her over Khushi because she knows he loves both of them with a fervour and that Khushi also cares for him a lot. It is possible that Anjali tells Khushi that she knows Shyam has been cheating and feels bad that Khushi bore pain for her sake but she may also get Khushi to promise her not to tell Chotey as he would only be hurt. (HR medicines scene, post airport ANji Khushi scene, Khushi nightmare scene her dialogue to Ani, Khushi telling ANji to open her eyes during head massage and anji dialogue to Khushi when Khushi feigned twisted ankle, Anji dialogue to Khushi that Khushi cares and loves Arnav a lot perhaps more than her - and one I noticed in teej scene rewatch yday Khushi telling anji aapki amaanat humaare paas aa gayi and then camera panning on Arnav)
Probable timelines
1. KN wraps up - forced marriage truth out
2. ArHi Wedding at Teej - Anj realizes Shyam is making advances n Khushi and decides to leave RM to protect Arnav's happiness. But Arnav and Khushi ask her to stay and they go to GH(much like Dasharatha and Ram)
3. Khushi makes a bro sis reconciliation at Rakhi (in secret without Shyam knowing)
4. At Janmashtami, Anjali tells Shyam that she knows he has been cheating her, and she goes into labour and has the child (side thot here that she carries teh child fullterm and like kanha and nanda's son got swapped, so does anji's baby and the child is brought up by the yashoda ma khushi and not the devaki ma anjali). ANjali gives Shyam a chance to repent and redeem himself
5. Mind games between ArnavKhushi and Shyam(shyam while pretending to repent is going to do underhand stuff to gain the Raizada money. He is funded by the evil chacha or Arnav's long lost dad - basically the past makes an entry)
5. Babuji gets back in action by navaraathri and then all bets are off. All out war between Arnav, Anjali, Khushi and Shyam.
6. By Diwali Shyam is killed / jailed for life.

ReplyDeleteSandy post airport anji k convo: will khushi make the mistake of hiding things again from Arnav? What will this do to his trust. Arnav is a man who has had lot of difficulty finding trust but now he trusts her completely if she hides things again will he be able to accept it even if it was his di who asked K to not say anything.
Dia even if plays out this way so Anji pushing A to leave K coz anji thinks K is not right for him two things can happen either A leaves K but that will essentially test A and K relation and trust again. If A walks out with L then it will test Anji and A relation anji and K relation I think.
One thing that's also nagging me is knowing Shyam is after khushi will A let Anji renew her vows with Shyam in effect what's playing on my mind is Khushi tumne mujhe bataya kyon nahi, kyon meri di ko uss insaan ko devta banane diya?' knowing things will he let his sis worship him. I am also ofc presuming that A will know that VLR is also the KN. CVs have cleverly left too many options open....
Will MM be of any use in all this. Will he pass information from one end to other inadvertently? To whom and what news???

DeleteKhushi hiding from Arnav - my heart says never again so even I am wondering how that scene will play out. Hence I want it to be something as simple as Shyam being a lecher because Khushi hiiding it is as good as not hiding it because Arnav already knows and perhaps what guides her is a promise made to Arnav that she will not tell Di about SHyam's true nature and distress her. Khushi does not tell anything but Anjali and Arnav know anyways.
Anji pushing A to leave K is atough one to potray well don't you think? And she will have to tell him a reason or u feel she will adopt Arnav's method of silence?
A is lettingher worship him because of the child only. This is why I cannot see how a miscarriage will work into teh way things are currently.
MM is a stop gap filler for Mamaji. When the time comes, Mama will confirm Shyam's ugly nature for his mother Nani (MM keeps talking to amma all the time) as he knows of a few SHyam cases of shyam being in the wring place at the wrong time.
