13/6 - Epi 274 ... The Army Lines Up

Wednesday 13th June

Devi Maiyya gets her army into place for the final battle - Khushi's scenes today were in order of length with the members of her army
Khushi - the leader
NK - the lieutenant ... or saarthi, as mentioned yesterday
Mami- the wise old General ... she may be wounded but she's very much in command
Payal - the rear guard

Hope Arnav has a role to play here, otherwise BS stands in danger of having abandoned one of the defining roles of his career for useless glitter ...

The Raksha dhaaga which Shyam gave Arnav, was nestled with the key to Arnav's locker which started the entire kidnapping drama ... the Raksha Havan comes with the key to open another lock, which could land up ending it ...

Khushi-NK ... set up drama of returning shoes, finding stain, offering to clean, brusquely refused, and peep in to see KJ frantically cleaning stain himself ... hence proved, Shyam has a secret to hide. NK recruited, takes up position of command. Loved the way he scolded Khushi - what did you think, you would barge in and accuse him and he would accept it? And Khushi distraught again, I didn't think, I can't think, it's about Arnav ...
And NK is the last member of the family to see it - now the whole family has - seen the love, worry and care of Khushi for Arnav ...

Khushi-Mami ... was missing Mami the last two days, she made welcome reappearance, with a logical reason for her absence, and very annoyed about it too ... don't think I'm retired hurt, I'm very much part of the investigation ... you gotta love Mami :)) I was actually smiling to see her back on screen! :)

NK knows Mami knows everything except about Shyam, Mami knows NK knows about the kidnapping. Wonder of wonders, people are actually communicating here!

Khushi-Nani ... Nani informs about the Raksha havan ... and asks Khushi, who's on the top of the list for Raksha? Arnav, of course ... so Nani might be the next to know about the rescue Arnav mission.

Khushi-Payal ... Payal as blind as ever, provides Khushi with an excuse for being where she was ... and Khushi finds the key ... Khushi sweetheart, instead of staring at it, open the damn briefcase! Although am glad she took time out to remember DM ... DM, please take care, we're depending on you here!

Last but not least - Shyam-Anjali ... and travel agent.

Precap - Shyam has Arnav's passport and a boarding card ... which can be issued if you travel business class a maximum of 48 hours prior to departure. So is Shyam planning to ship Arnav out of the country to kill him? How exactly can he ship a grown man without his consent?
Okay, will wait til tomorrow before asking all those questions ... for tonight, the episode was good again ... kept me on edge throughout ...although the search for the keys was a bit stretched ... Khushiji, filler mat karo ;)

*edited*

Again loved the individual scenes - there was attention to detail and my complaint of yesterday was taken care of immediately - why did Khushi rush to accuse Shyam? NK immediately scolded for her impetuosity, it could have ruined everything.
So NK returns Shyam's shoes, and carefully, casually, points out the blood stain ... 'do you know what this stain is? How could this have gotten here?' and checks Shyam's reaction ...
NK'ism ... aapki izzat liye bina aapke joote try kar liye ... not ready to accuse Shyam of anything yet, till he gets proof, giving him a chance, because it's too fantastic a thought ... but once he does, Shyam's izzat is gone ...

Shyam remembers immediately the fight ... although I still didn't see how Arnav's blood, and that too, such a huge blob got onto the shoe through the hood ...thankfully the blood has dried by now, otherwise I would suspect Arnav had hemophilia along with his other many 'takniki kharabis' ...

Shyam is flabbergasted for a minute, then recovers ...snatches the shoe back before NK can mention what he thinks the stain is ... all noticed by alert NK ... and NK exchanges first look with Khushi, yes maybe there is something to what you said ...

NK acts all casual again ... ok, Jiju ... I can clean this stain for you if you like ... won't take a minute ... he takes the shoe from Shyam, and Shyam snatches the shoe back instantly, flustered immediately ... 'no, not at all ...'
And now NK's antennae are up ... another look at Khushi ... yes, definitely this is not a normal reaction ...you're right, Khushi ...
Shyam has to make a visible effort to act normal ... an unsuspecting person might have let it pass ... but the alert NK can see it clearly ...'I'll get them polished, you don't worry ...'
NK leaves, joins a waiting Khushi outside ... his bent head acknowledges she was right ... they peek in through the door Shyam has shut so firmly ... to see him quickly wiping the red stain with a wet cloth ...
Khushi asks NK quietly ...'now do you believe me?'
NK responds with a tiny nod ... and they both look grim ... now what?!

NK-Khushi again in her room ... felt really glad for Khushi that she finally had someone she could share her burden with ... what does she do? How should she tell the family?
NK asks ... does no one in the family know anything? and Khushi tells him that Mami does know about the kidnapping, but not about Shyam ... so NK is brought up to date with all the progress ... finally people are communicating!!!
NK also blasts Khushi about accusing Shyam without thinking ... if Shyam had been there instead of NK, what would have happened? Did she really think accusing Shyam like that was a good idea? Would he have just accepted it?
And Khushi knows she was stupid, but she was distraught, she wasn't thinking ... it's about Arnav after all ...
and NK also sees the depth of Khushi's feelings for Arnav ...
Liked the way Khushi is still hesitant to actually use the word 'pyaar' in her feelings or Arnav's ... looks like Arnav is going to have to really work for that confession from her ... am I happy or am I happy? :))

Nani enters the picture ... last night after the episode, I was wondering - where is she in the army? The wise Bhishma Pitamah? The matriarch of the house, torn between the two sides, knowing that right is on one side, but duty-bound to support the other?
Raksha havan tomorrow morning ... for protection ... and you know who's on top of Anjali's list, Khushi bitiya?
Khushi murmurs ... Arnav ... Nani nods.

NKisms ... 'baatein bana rahe the' ... and they will continue making up stories for the family ... to keep them in the dark about Shyam ...
'Khushiji, filler mat kijiye ...' :)) so are the filler episodes coming to an end, and the showdown coming up?
'Nannav ko unke chumbak se/ changul se chhuda ke le aayenge ...' hope that one refers to Barun's movie ... we'll get him back from there ... :)
And warns Khushi ...'we have to be careful, keep watch on Shyam all the time ...'

Next morning, true to word, NK-K keeping eyes on Shyam ... VLR lost in his papers and in the next stage of his plan ... lies to Anjali, 'I'm going to court ...'
Anjali catches him ... 'you're lying ' ... and very seriously this time ... 'why are you going to a travel agent?'
Shyam bluffs his way out again ... 'I want to take you on a holiday ..' Anjali happy ... 'how much you think about me ...'
Anjali bitiya, if not you, who would he take for a holiday? The family dog?
And she tells him to come for the havan ... raksha for their baby ...
Nani told Khushi the raksha was for Arnav. Anjali tells Shyam it is for their baby. Looks like Anjali knows how to play her husband as well as she does the others in RM. He can't refuse for their baby's sake.
He has an appointment, but she's not listening ... well, he's her ghulam ... so Shyam is not letting go of Anjali that easily ...

NK will explore Shyam's room once he has left it ... Khushi tells him Shyam's combination number - 666 :))
Damien ... The Omen ... the Devil's number ...

Havan under way ... the first since Khushi broke off and then made up with her Devi Maiyya ...

And Manorama Mami is back ... with a reason for her absence ... a sprained ankle. I'm so happy to see her back! :)
Akash ... Maate, you know everything ... yes, she does ... well, almost ... so she will find out the rest of the truth soon too.
Mami is annoyed at being left out of the investigations ... why is Khushi ignoring her? Far cry from the days when she didn't even want to look at Khushi!
Khushi brings her first partner up to date ... NK is now in the know. Mami is happy, at least the investigation can continue, but she wants all the information all the time.
Mami is very much part of the army. And judging by the positions at the havan, she's at the head ... flanked by NK and Khushi ... right in front of Devi Maiyya.
On one side sit Shyam-Anjali, together ... Anjali will not believe Shyam's truth any time soon ...
On the other side sit Payash ... they will believe or disbelieve together ... probably believe, as Payal knows Shyam's truth, and Akash will believe his mother and Arnav ...

Nani not shown (except a fleeting glimpse of her BD ... but she has already taken position ... Bhishma Pitamah ... her heart with the righteous side, but forced by duty to align with the unrighteous? Has to give Anjali strength, so will pretend to be on her side, her and Shyam's.

And Khushi is now in constant conversation with her DM :) ... forgive me, I need to leave this havan ... you know why ...
NK was unsuccessful ... he couldn't find the key, because HP came by ... HP again :)
Khushi goes to make an attempt to find the key ...
Shyamu twitching uncomfortably ...
Devi Maiyaa smiling ... jaa Khushi beta, find the key ... to the TF's plan ...

Khushi almost finds the papers taped under the crib ... will she find those also tomorrow?
Khushi tells herself not to give up, DM is with her ... DM smiles again ... yes, I am, my daughter. :)

Finding the key scene was a bit stretched ... understandably so ... Payal interrupts Khushi in her search, and is unsurprisingly unsurprised to find her hunting for her earring in Di's room ... and doesn't explain why she also came there ... is the SA room the new Mumbai Central?

Khushi thanks Devi Maiyya again ... and Devi Maiyya gives her the key, smiling away ... here you go, my daughter ...

The best thing Khushi ever did was to go back to Devi Maiyya ... DM got into action real quick!!!
Devi Maiyya's army is now ready for the final battle ...

Thoughts:
Like I said in the title, the episode was about getting the army into action. So I saw lots of symbolism, getting into position and taking up arms ... almost felt like getting ready for the battle of Mahabharata.

Monday we saw the face of the Boss being exposed, along with a flashback of his entire plan.
Tuesday we saw NK being co-opted into the army, he got part of the story, the kidnapping, but had reservations about the Shyam part.
Wednesday NK is fully recruited, and the first phase of battle starts ... get the arms and ammunition ready and start gauging the enemy's strengths and weaknesses, and their plans.
Thursday will be further data collection, putting the pieces together and getting full knowledge of Shyam's plan ... starting to formulate a plan of action
Friday will complete the battle plan, probably with some planning at the other end ... Arnav's side ...
And the start of the seige ... and the battle ...
And if Sandy's number theories are correct - which they have been twice before, then 666 = 18th June is the beginning of the final battle (of course it could also just be the final return of Barun on the sets, but I think it will be both).

thank god Nk believed her , and mami sprined her leg and can't accompany khushi in Rescue mission but want regular updates !
So NK the saarathi and Mami holding the fort at RM is coming true ??
So as I thought Shyam is going to send ASR back !! and how can he do without anyone else known .. book a return ticket !!! and release him and then we can have Khushi-Shyam confrontation with khushi and NK egging shyam to blow his trumpet - with Arnav witnessing from start to end this time ??

    4. Aaru, wouldn't Arnav already have a return ticket? Why would he need a travel agent to pretend that Arnav is back? And you don't get a boarding card unless you actually check in ... although many airlines you can check in and get boarding card online these days ... but still, why does he need them to pretend that Arnav just travelled back to India?

Yeh Travel agent ki baat, I did not understand.

      Delete
    5. Dia ,

The boarding pass and the Passport in the briefcase was of flight he was suppose to travel.. And that what khushi found.. What I was saying is Shyam needing a travel agent ! why will need it ? Because even if Arnav had a return ticket booked it was for certain date which due the kidnapping had to be changed .. but that's too much of logic there ... but shyam needing travel agent was just to link or give a clue for the PP and BP so that NK and Khushi will doubt that he is planning to deport ASR somewhere..
Remember , I think it was on Monday I said that Shyam might send back Arnav because of clause in the Will, he is stuck with him , and with Khushi and Mami on his trail it would be safe for him to return ASR since till now he thinks no one knows that he is behind the kidnapping.. So it might be just to inquire actual return date of Bitwa so that he knows how much time he has in hand to do whatever is needed... and if nothing works out he can release Arnav on that day so that except ASR, Mami and Khushi know about the kidnapping which they will never say out.... with Anji in the mix or maybe it would be just to keep his escape route ready ???

    6. don't worry ladies reason will be out by tomorrow or thursday.

DM promo is yet not completely played out .... wonder when the new one will start taking its place .... hope they don't air any new promo before this had played out .... well if the new promo announces bitwas entry .... then I am ALL for it !!

    7. Yep, I get your point. And we did discuss that Shyam either has to show Arnav dying of natural causes, which is not really possible - or just quietly to release him, thinking that no one, Arnav, Khushi or Mami, actually knows of Shyam's involvement.

It might actually be a way to show some travel date for Arnav, which sets a date for the cv's to set up the final showdown. Let's see - this should set up in the next couple of days - by Friday at the latest ... so the showdown happens over Monday Tuesday Wednesday ... I don't think they can drag it till next weekend ...

    9. ladies - don't get your point - what do you mean? that TF is planning to release ODB - just like that??? does not sound right to me - (1) how can he send this guy off to another country without anyone knowing - ODB included - a grown man cannot be just shipped off, right?

(2)why would TF just release him(ODB) - that would be like leaving a wounded lion out in the open - true ASR will not know who kidnapped him but he will not just sit idle and not try and find out who did it, right? (not the character ASR is supposed to be, that is!)

Then the role of the Travel agent? - i think will be revealed by tom

    10. Maybe Shyam wanted to postpone the date of return on the ticket to buy himself more time?

    11. Besides Arnav;s assport and boarding pass in Shyam's briefcase when Arnav is supposed to be in Scotland is irrefutable proof that Shyam has a hand in Arnav's disappearance. If Khushi can show it to NK ad Mami, there is no way they can ignore her doubts. Or does she get photos of these documents against Shyam's briefcase as proof?

      Delete
    12. Yep, that is irrefutable evidence ... that's why I'm waiting to see what happens today. I want this ticket passport travel agent thingy sorted out ... can't make sense of it at the moment.

btw how did khushi's earring fall with the back fastening lock or whatever still attached? Small error, but still :)
and how did payal not ask khushi anything further? Surely she didnt think that khushi was searching for her earring in anjali's room, did she?

One question....we were all justifying why NK won't believe Khushi and lo and behold he goes and does the unbelievable...believes her....all after seeing him clean the shoes of the blood stains..did i miss something significant in that scene?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Rekha, it was the entire scene set up ... Khushi told NK that the blood was of Arnav, so NK very casually asked Shyam, I borrowed your shoes, but I don't need them so returned with thanks ... oh look, they're stained, should I clean them for you? And Shyam acted all suspicious with his usual twitching faces, snatched the shoe from NK, said, no, I'll get them cleaned, don't worry ... NK leaves, TF shuts door and frantically cleans shoe himself ... watched by NK and Khushi ... so NK agrees there is something daal mein blackwa :)

Although don't ask how the blood got on to the shoe in the first place :)

      Delete
    2. he also said something really stupid about the blood, which I din't catch but it was what got NK to go further.

& like the fact that cvs have shown NK as a person who is simple& sees things straight to the point, so its no surprise that as he sensed suspicious behaviour of Jeejaji ..... he might as well believe the truthful Khushi.

this makes me think that its not the NK fame that made cvs extend his role but was an option kept open by cvs to make use later in need ..... he was to join post Holi ... when Creep showed sign of VLRism (last scene of Holi week) .... then in a weeks time I also expected a scene where Buaji&Garima comes to fetch khushi for pagphere as she din't have a proper one .... well nothing sort happened but things definitely started moving since GH and weeks into it the final showdown is approaching where NK is very much in the picture .... of course our hero's absence had made few changes .... extended research in rounds of kidnapping by MaShi.

      Delete
    3. Dia - the CVs have been so logical for the past few days that am pretty sure they are not too well!! -
so two small minor illogical points are acceptable - one - how the blood got on to the shoe - (would have been very possible is there had been a splatter from a cut/wound!) and two - that the blood did not clot for hours on end!!!

Sama - NK's reaction was very well shown - he did believe KKG after he saw TF behaving suspiciously - with the tiniest of head shake did he accept that he believed her - he really was shocked to see TF turning out to be the bad guy

      Delete
    4. Yep, also I think they have to wrap up the track, so they can't spend too much time convincing NK .. he was always ready to trust and believe Khushi, so it was easier to convince him with just a slight show of Shyam's suspicious behaviour. And Shyam WAS actually acting quite wierd ... snatching the shoe, ... no, don't touch it, I'll do it ... if someone was wired to catch a hint, it was very much there.

  7. today i saw the episode before i read R&R and enjoyed both as i did not know what was about to happen and I loved Dia post - was so very apt!!! - yes def. DM/ODG's army is ready,

felt the placement of everyone was also apt - Mami in the front - the senior General and two very capable army officers behind her
Also liked Anji with Husband - she will stick by him no matter what - she is that blind!!! faced with an equally blind couple, so TF will not know what hit him when the army attacks from the side!!

when KKG was rummaging thorough the room - was reminded f the time when TF did that to her room - we have come full circle! (TF had cleaned it up in record time - feel ODG will also have to do so!)

Boarding pass and PP - def. of the flight ODB had to take - he had checked in remember - so that is damned solid proof!!!

Completely random - earning + stopper = only blooper i noticed today - wow CVs are actually being very meticulous!!

SN - today all ladies were wearing different sarees - not the usual uniform in different colours - and at the cost of repeating myself - am so damned jealous of Anji - the more pregnant she gets the flatter is her tummy and the flimsier is her saree!!!

  8. I decided to switch off till I can see some sense in the track (I should learn from suicide and kidnap), not completely though.

    Starting with the precap:
I was thinking of completely writing off the PP before the epi, thank god I didn’t.

I thought the episode was a little slow compared to y’day.
NK is really giving twists after twists.

And I found some things other than Payal a little out of place:
    1. Shyam knows Khushi was in his room searching for something, also knows she is hell bent on rescuing bitwa. But when he comes down the stairs and sees Khushi and Mami talking he does not even glance at them. Isn’t he supposed to keep an eye on her activities? He acted as though he had taken care of that headache.
    2. NK sits casually at the havan until Khushi asks him about the briefcase. Shouldn’t he show more interest in updating her since his brother is in danger?
    3. Nani tells Khushi the havan is for Arnav and Anji tells Shyam the havan is for the baby.
    4. Payal again, why this newfound love especially when both of them are supposed to be at the havan?

Can you blame me for smelling a rat?
    Hushhh…
I am supposed to be switched off.

And 666 adds upto 18th- Will something happen then atleast???

      Delete
    2. Su, most of the track is progressing well, so I am ready to forgive a few bloopers in the interest of speeding it up!

Anji telling Shyam the havan is for the baby- was that one deliberate? So Anjali is shown to manipulate Shyam as much as she does the others ... that's how I read it, not as a blooper. Anjali knows Shyam might not stay for a havan for Arnav, but he can't refuse for their baby ...

Shyam was shown to be all happy when he got back after the Arnav encounter, and tell Anjali that he has fixed his problem ... and overconfidence has always been his downfall. Long may it continue!

    3. Dia,
      Look carefully.

      ARE THEY REALLY BLOOPERS?

      Or are they clues?

    4. Su,

      Ekshplain puleej!

Number 3 is not a blooper, it's a clue all right - Anjali and who the havan is for.
What are you hinting about NK and Mami-Khushi scene?

All I interpreted about the Payal scene was Payal will be there as rear guard, not in the forefront of the battle, but there to bear witness.
Also - hunting for symbolism here - earrings have a rishta with ArHi - Arnav returned Khushi's earring after the sangeet, he had Khushi's earring after Heer Ranjha ... Payal found Khushi's earring here ... Payal and Arhi pyaar?

      Delete
    5. Dia, Su i am inclined to think that number 1 yet again indicated that Shyam is only looking ahead. In his over confidence he is forgetting to cover all angels directions and areas. While mami and khushi are sat to his right hand side on the sofa talking about kidnap and third recruit (NK) Shyam is not paying attention. He is looking ahead and will eventually result in his downfall....

    6. UJ, Su,

Shyam only sees and hears what he wants to. CIP - Holi epi where Khushi told him she married Arnav under force but she also told him humaari dhadkanein ek hai which he never absorbed. For now Shyam is only focussed on getting the money under his thumb. Bas. Totally unaware of what else is happening around him.

It is this restricted view that gives him his false rosy view, a sense fo overconfidence and will eventually be his undoing. Waterloo time for Shyam approaches...

    7. Dia,
To add to the sensationalism (learning from the CVs), I want to re-write bloopers like this:

‘Are they clues carefully disguised as bloopers?’

Regarding explanations, I am a tube light.

Tube light flickering= ranting and raving
Tube light switched off= talking in riddles
      Tube light fully lit= ANSWERS.

Right now I am switched off.
Really can’t explain unless I am fully lit.

I’ll promise you one thing though.
      I confess a lot.
Just like I confessed about the PP today.

Explanations or confessions, you’ll get it when I am sure of the track.

      CONFESSION:

When I started writing this post, it was only bloopers on my mind.
By the time I finished, it did not look like only bloopers.

  9. My mind is chewing on the following (heavy mythology influence)

    1. Raksha Dhaga from Rajasthan
    2. Rajasthan Royals - Theme Halla Bol and the Jab Tak Hai Dum song from the movie Hall Bol
    3. Rajputana Warriors
    4. Rajput women - brave and fearless
    5. The day Raksha dhaga reached Arnav, Shyam had already lost his while creeping around ArHi room. HP found it and gave it to Anjali
    HP tapak pade
    6. NK as Hanuman - the bumbling babboon who is never considered seriously but who when called upon recalls his strength.
    7. Hanuman it was who brought Sanjeevani on Ram's request
    8. Hanuman was the icon on the flag of the chariot Arun drove in teh Mahabharatha war
    9. It was the appearance of Hanuman (a monkey) in Lanka that set off a series of incidents ending in the downfall of Ravana. Ravana underestimated the vanarsena and paid for it
    10. Hanuman brought visual confirmation of the hostage (Sita)
    11. Shyam as Ravana. An interesting read where it is mentioned that Ravana's first born was a girl and she was prophesised to be the cause of his death. This girl was to be killed by Ravana's henchman but he could not and lied to Ravan at having killed her. Very similar to the Snow White and the 7 dwarfs story where the hunstman lies to the wicked queen about having killed Snow White.
    12. No havan in RM post wedding when Khushi had fought with her DM. The moment they make up a raksha havan is organized - for Arnav and Anji's baby primarily. DM comes back to RM once her daughter invites her whole heartedly and accepts her istake in having questioned maiyya's earlier silence. Havan cleanses the house and protects it from the evil eye.
Shyam keeps glancing at his watch throughout - his evil reign is soon to end at RM and righteousness shall prevail.
    13. Khushi as Chandi - a form of shakti
    14. Khushi as Rani Jodhabai - a rajputaana princess who went on to become the empress
    15. Nandkishore; a name for Lord Vishnu; reminding me of Lady Mohini who hoodwinked the asuras during amrit manthan to give the amrit to the devas

    1. Sandy, lovely post *applause*
Today's episode reminded me somehow of the battle of Mahabharata ... have been trying to draw all the parallels I can find. Your post made it broader ... draw in Ramayana and old Indian history as well ... today's episode was very significant somehow in many ways ... maybe it was the atmosphere of the havan and DM's constant presence that make it seem that way.

      Points I particularly liked ...
Raksha Dhaga ... and now Raksha Havan.
Did Anjali lie to Shyam? She told Nani the havan was for Arnav ... she told Shyam it was for their baby.

NK as Hanuman ... the faithful devotee of Sita ... he wanted to carry her back from Lanka, she refused, said Ram has to rescue me. So he just carried her ring as proof. Here too, NK is ardent devotee of Khushi - he will remain firmly on her side, come what may.
Also liked - he is never taken seriously, but when called on, recalls his strength.
Hanuman had to be reminded of his strength to cross the Indian Ocean to Lanka ... once there, he used his brains to burn the Ashok Vatika where Sita was deliberately so that he could be taken into Ravan's presence.

I didn't know Hanuman was the icon on Arjun's chariot :) Interesting! Here Khushi is definitely Arjun ... NK is both Hanuman and her saarthi? Although Arjun was the chief warrior, he was not king, Yudhistra was king ... Khushi is fighting the battle, but Arnav is the King ... however don't know how that will play out, as Arnav should have a bigger role than to merely be rescued :))

Ravan underestimated the vanarsena ... Shyam underestimating Khushi and NK and Mami? He knows Mami-Khushi are together, he thinks he fobbed off NK with the tale about the shoes.

Ravan's firstborn a girl ... do I remember right, Sita was said to be Ravan's daughter in some myths?

12- this I LOVED - no havan in RM since Khushi broke off with DM. As soon as Khushi makes up, havan is held. At one havan, Khushi found out the truth about Shyam and almost blurted it out to Arnav, she then disappeared, prompting that call from Arnav - 'don't ever, ever do that to me again!'
At another havan, Khushi disappeared with NK, bangles scene and Arnav confessed that he bought her bangles.
At this havan what will happe? Khushi won't get caught for sure, DM is looking out for her. Will she come closer to finding Arnav? Every havan has brought ArHi closer in some form, maybe not physically, but emotionally.

Yes everything that you have written makes sense. Most of this is new information for me, and I love the way your brain works.

    3. Dia,

Yes even I have read that Sita was that child of Ravan's who was abadondened only to be found by Janaka and later become the cause for his downfall. Here it will be Di's nanhi Khushi.

And yeah - from ur edited post too Nani will be Bhisma Pitamaha. Emotionally bound to the righteous but duty bound to the kith and kin.

You know Arnav as Yudhistira is a nice parallel. He wagered Khushi without her consent just like Yudhisthira did with Draupadi. And when Draupadi vastraaharan happened, it was Krishna who saved her honour. Hmm so will it be NK whose testimony will "save" Khushi when Shyam tries to tarnish her before the family?

Arnav as Yudhistira is exciting because Dharmaraj only ever uttered one lie in his life / rather misrepresented once - to Guru Drona of having killed Aswatthama (the dog) thereby causing Drona to drop his arms and garnering victory for the Pandavas in the Kurukshetra war.

As for the Anjali manipulation, the raksha havan was for teh entire family. From Khushi's POV the priority is Arnav, from Anji's its the baby and her hubby. I think that will be teh theme eventually for a rift between the siblings. Nani could be the one who sees it from both POV.

Yes Hanuman was the icon on the flag of Arjun's chariot. It was on account of a curse for something he did. And apparently at the end of the war when Hanuman flew away and Krishna dismounted the cchariot after Arjun, the chariot burst into flames. Krishna told Arun that it was only the the presence of Hanuman and himself that had kept the chariot in one piece.

      Krishna = Paarth
Arjun = Paartha - the son of Pritha - one with the abililty to distinguish
And hence Krishna was called Paarthasaarathi - the charioteer of Paartha

Ironically just like Ram spent 14 years in exile, so did the Pandavas spend 12 years in exile and 1 year in disguise hiding out in King Virata's court. Exile and disguise are common to both mythologies

Shyam called himself the ghulaam. Made me think of
      Shyam - Jack of cards
      Anjali - Queen of cards
      Arnav - King of cards
      Khushi - Ace of cards

Arnav will not just be rescued. He will be pretending he needs to be rescued so that he may learn the full truth.

Oh and I love the thought about this being Havan No 3 at RM. Things always seem to move teh 3rd time nai?
Havan No 1 - Shyam is exposed to Khushi and Arnav has his first concrete realization that he feels something for Khushi and not for La. He realized her mangetar had hurt her.

Havan No 2 - Shyam tries to kill Anjali and Arnav realizes use Khushi ki maut se bahut fark padhtha hai. That night he heard his heartbeat and called her name - the start of 2 hearts beating as one.
Truth of Payal's broken first wedding came before the family exclusing NK and ArHi.Akash promised Payal he would never hide anything from her henceforth.

      Havan No 3 - Hmmm!!!

Some more Random thoughts (also commented below, repasting here for ease of read):
      16. Earring is also called baali in Hindi
      17. Makes me think of Bahubali the Jain thirthankara - the first human in his time to attain liberation
      18. Bahubali is also called Gomateshwara and Khushi's house in Lucknow was called Gomti Sadan
      19. Oh also made me think of the movie Omkara where Bahubali was the title of the chief lieutinant - it was greed for the post and anger at not being the chosen one that made Langda Tyaagi double cross Omkara so that he suspects his own wife and her charitra.

p.s: apologies for teh heavy dosage of mythology guys.

    7. Sandy, enjoyed that ... great read. I am a mythology buff, so loved it.

Yep, ashwatthama was the elephant. The Pandavas killed the elephant, and sent the news to the Kaurava camp. Dronacharya asked Yudhistra if the news was true, because he knew Yudhishtra never lied. Yudhishtra said yes, Ashwathama is dead, and added under his breath 'the elephant'. Drona never heard that and in grief, gave up his arms, and was killed.

Never knew those tidbits about Baali. Wasn't Baali also the Asura King who was defeated by Vishnu in his Vaman avatar?

Hoping the 18th thing is true...tired of waiiiiting and waiting.

Just btw...was watching the Heer Ranjha scene tonite and Arnav's dialougue seemed very apt for now...I think it's very possible that K gets shot and is in the hospital after the kidnap and Arnav will hold her hand and repeat the entire dialogue,"Mai gussa hoke chala gaya tha.Maine kaha mujhe fark nahi padta.. par tum to janti ho mai tumhare bina jee nahi sakta. Wapas aa jao..." and so on and then he will say the "Jab jo kiya.." dialogue but this time he will complete it..and then Khushi will open he eyes..Rabba Ve..;-)

  11. Helloo Ladies,
Sonu Heer Ranjha dialogues will happen when our hotwa gets back to the show. Till then waiting and dreaming are our only options.
Can someone tell me why Akash and Payal have the least dialogues. Even NK has overtaken Akash. He spoke more dialogues in just two days, than what Akash has said in the entire show! CVs he can shown to be worried about bhai atleast? Same goes with Payal, kuch to bolo?
NK not only looks cute, but his character is shown to be mature as well. I am pretty sure DB is staying in the show. Her presence has been on an upward scale now.
And I am officially bored with this track. I need some change, ASR having flashbacks of KKG will work! But I so much want to see ASR's side of story. What is he thinking during his captivity. Those fight scenes didnt do anything for me. I still cant figure out if he has connected the dots yet. To be honest, instead of hut scene which was performed by the BDs for the most part, they could have shown some conversations. I am sure it was for the TRPs and get the scene hyped. I was very satisfied with the ASR-KKG hug , which was excellently pictured and had the right emotions.
I dont know how PH /channel could allow the lead of a love story take more than a month off! Its just ridiculous!!
BTW, I looved SBS segment, again I am enjoying SBS more than the actual episodes.

and shyam wil lagain rub it in that saale saaheb will only beleive him AND AND AND then the man himself makes an appearance and says WELL JEE-JAA-JII maine aapse pehle bhi kahaa tha ki ab Khushi meri patni hai aur aap usse door hi rahiye and goes on to dismantle shyamu's castle of dreams and shows him just how deluded he was - saare FB of ODB POV will come..

and that is when shyam will realize how he thot arnav hates khushi when all along it has been only her for him. and khushi will see arnav all over again and realize end with his FB of saying ILU to her...

    1. DN maatey

I am not symbolism expert rrey!!

So far jewellery has always been a sign of the ArHi bond / emotions / love - payal, earrings, bangle

The earring featured very high during the sangeet, mehendi, HR acts and in the manner it got back to Khushi. I never gave too much thot to the earring ydya yday as I was chewing on other stuff.

      Random associated thoughts:
Earring is also called baali in Hindi
Makes me think of Bahubali the Jain thirthankara - the first human in his time to attain liberation

    2. let me add another bit of symbolism here.. sandy, dont laugh!
in her nightmare, khushi found some pearls, a key and her payal.

      1. after arnav's ILU, she dreamed of him gifting her a PEARL necklace.

      2. after her reconciliation with DM, she finds the KEY to sham's suitcase.. which proves his guilt..

....so, i remember she removed her payals to track shyam one night at 8 o clock.. will they be involved in the story now?

      Delete
    3. Jaya, thanks, I was trying to remember the third thing in Khushi's dream ... the payal. So yes, that has to figure at some point, but in the right order - so it will come in today or tomorrow?

      Delete
    4. J,

i burst out laughing when I read the don't laugh command but the rest of ur points - muuahh

if u look at her dream, she found and picked up pearls (of wisdom and inputs from Nani, Anji, Mami and now NK) leading her to the key (truth of the matter, ugliness of Shyam) and resulted in her finding the payal.

The payal was the first symbol of the bond between ArHi and so yes when she finally finds Arnav now, she will find her payal (ghungroos which tinkle in happiness - her happiness). Then will come a day Arnav will once again put it on her - in confirmation of the feelings that bubbled up that Diwali night by the poolside and which he today knows to be his love for her :) (u recall that day when she described how she had decked up for her wedding night, she spoke about her payal so it will come but a lil bit further)

The pearl necklace that she dreamed of being gifted, one day Arnav will in reality put it around her as a token of his love for her, as a symbol of his apology for having broken her pearl of strings and scattered her life that first time they met in Lucknow.

      Make any sense?

      Delete
    5. see, i knew you'd laugh!!
makes some sense.. but look at it this way..
she picked up the pearls (they were part of khushi's dress.. some fell into arnav's pocket when he broke it),
got the key that was arnav's mannat for his di(it was kept in khushi's care for a while, then returned to arnav)
..and found the payal that was the only thing she has from her own mother. (it was kept in arnav's care for a while, but he returned it to her)

      now analysis 4
      - khushi's izzat is now in arnav's pocket (or safekeeping)
      - di's happiness was in khushi's hands for a while, but now back at arnav
      - (mother's/arnav's) love for khushi..was with him, now he gave it to her.. cue ILU and jugnu..

      where is the fourth sign?

      Delete
    6. Arre if u very seriously tell me not to laugh then I will naa..

am stumped with ur comment above

I like how u say khushi's izzat is now in arnav's pocket for safekeeping

anji's happiness is still in khushi's hands - her silence is critical for arnav to maintain the facade.

but tell me that mannat he went to complete was what Anji made on his behalf when he returned to Lucknow. So that maant is Arnav related and not Ani related IMO.

      and what fourth sign?

Desi girl- That was again Khushi and NK, right.
Look at me, I am seeing IPK symbolism in other serials too. ..rofl.. rofl..

NK as Khushi's saarthi. Like that analogy. Arjun's Saarthi was lord Krishna himself always giving Arjuna the courage, words of wisdom and guiding him, stirring him in the right direction. Yesterday when NK chided khushi for having directly approached VLR I was reminded of many people's view on this blog of NK being the saarthi.
He will become khushi guide and wisdom at the same time. Although NK has been shown to be silly and playful at times he is also smart and mature.

Yudhishthir never lied 'dharmaputra', arnav has shown to be very honest as well. But when time comes on Krishna convincing dharma purrs lies as well thus playing a big role in doing away with dronacharya. Like yudhishtir arnav, the king will have to play his part....

Sabr ka phal mitha hota hai.... Keeping my fingers crossed that finally when The showdown (if at all) does happen it is worth the wait. The battle of kurukshetra took a long time to happen but it did it was well worth the wait.

      3. Payal wedding day - Oh! Payal said she cannot find her jhumkaas ; Khushi said she will find them and realized that night how creepy and slimy Shyam is

  18. Okay some random rambling here so bear with me......

i wanted to respond on one of Su's posts of yesterday (it set me thinking) regarding her apprehensions on the face-off; if i remember correctly, Su wanted that the MU clearing happens before the face-off.

For a long while, this is something that i wanted too....becos in any love story, it is our ardent wish that one's love not be accepted under any illusions. We want that our partners accept our love for what it is rather than under pre-conceived/vague notions.

I did not want Arnav to accept khushi's love only after knowing that she is guilt free, rather i wanted his junoon for her to overpower any thinking of righteousness.(ok, i was rather demanding here...its only becos even at the height of their quarrels, there has only been strange "kichaav" between them..sorry no apt english word for that). Also, anything less will not do justice to this story.
i never wanted any element of pity/pain to overshadow this inexplicable bond that these two share. Yes, He would feel the pain but that pain should be a realisation of what he has driven this girl he loves to go thru becos of his rash actions and the realisation of who she really is(kis mitti ki bani yeh ladki)

In great part, Arnav has made that journey,( Tho..i wanted to that junoon to play out more clearly...but after all these posts by sandy, Dia, Mona, Jaya, Aaru, Su, Sama and many others here.....i am more accepting of the fact that...yes Arnav has made that journey with little steps all thru these months right from that pag-phere, holi, HR, GH visit...Yes, Arnav has found his reasons on why his heart is always connected to Khushi, why despite the pain he perceives that Khushi gave him, he knows no respite from it other than being bound to her.

His intentions for trapping VLR(if indeed, it plays out that way) does not take away from the understanding he has gained about Khushi in this time...Its true u may love someone but u really know that person only with time....as u start experiencing different facets of that person....Arnav and Khushi in their own ways have discovered love on this journey. They began as adversaries, yet experienced a pull to each other like no other, were forced by circumstances to come together and have discovered so much about each other and their bond has deepened in this time..

So, now i don't care if the MU clearing(terrace confrontation and Khushi's damning words) happens in a face-off or before becos it is long established that they know what mean to each other...I say it again, ARHI is no run-of-the-mill love story

  19. Rekha,

Lucky for you that you got convinced.

    For me:
    What I wanted happened.
He accepted that he loves her in spite of all the perceived flaws, hence the hut scene happened.
Am still not sure the MU lifted.

    Doesn’t matter.
I’ll be with you all when the track unfolds on 18th, either way.

‘I did not want Arnav to accept khushi's love only after knowing that she is guilt free, rather i wanted his junoon for her to overpower any thinking of righteousness.’:

    Khushi deserves this.
    ASR owes it to her.
More than that, ASR deserves this because this is the only thing that will save him when the MU clears and RTR starts.

    And the timing is odd.

OK. Now I am sounding like a stuck tape or a parrot, so I am going back to tubelight switched off.

    1. Su....u and I are very demanding....no doubt about that.....

I like the way u say...."Khushi deserves this"...yes...she does.....ASR will make it up to her, i bet u...That was Gul's vision, that i fell in love with and i am sure no maker who has a vision like that and a team to back it up will flounder in that important part
U know that ASR is not the usual hero....he is a flawed one but importantly, he is the ONE for her

    2. Su,

One thing i am compelled to point out.....there is a strong basis for the MU.....ASR is not wrong to have misunderstood Khushi...Khushi said those damning words..."Anjaliji ko chod dijeye" after being in VLR's arms from ASR's POV.....

Yes, we may *head desk* why Arnav chose not to dig deeper or confront etc ( we also know why, becos of his own fear of rejection)but that Terrace scene needs to be wiped out with a powerful counter image....thats a given.....

Su, If u accept that Arnav has accepted his love inspite of everything.....the MU is only matter-of-course....

    3. I wanted Arnav to accept his love for Khushi because he realizes he has somehow misunderstood her ... despite what he saw on the terrace, his heart should tell him there is another explanation. And then he look for the proof of that.

Not that he accept her thinking she really is a homebreaker - that is a very tough one. How can he love or respect a girl whom he thinks can stoop to that level? NO - he should have understood that there is something wrong in that scene, accept that HE has misunderstood, because the girl he has fallen in love with, CANNOT do something like that. In short, fall in love with the girl she really is, the girl he has recognized for being what she really is ... and to know that he made a mistake in what he saw and what he heard.

Wasn't there a line somewhere where Khushi says, sometimes what you see and hear may not be the truth?

    4. Dia,

While i said, i wanted him accept his love for her.....it was not to do with the knowledge of her being a homebreaker rather a battle with his dil and dimaag about how could he have misunderstood this person after everything that they had shared.....

which is exactly what has happened over these months....so while the MU has not cleared the understanding for both has grown, so he accepts that she is not what he thot her to be

I agree it is not possible to love, ideally, person who is a homebreaker ( one thinks from a moral angle, even accepting that one can still be attracted to that person)

Abs on the money ur remark "sometimes what you see and hear may not be the truth?"
I only stand by the fact that MU clearance for that terrace scene will trigger his already latent understanding of Khushi....( he now knows what she meant by that remark and is shocked by the turn of events in how much he has ravaged her life)

    5. And if i could explain it better....not sure if are my words are conveying that well...

If i were to put myself in Khushi's shoes, if I realise that Arnav gets all his answers to my innocence on the face-off day and then shouts out his love on the rooftops.....sorry its not enuf for me....for i will go back to that single remark from Khushi on the bridge" Agar aap mere bare mein itni ghatiya soch rakh sakte ho, toh yeh soch apko mubarak ho"...

In many my khushi is still standing on that bridge, if anything she would want answers to why he thot that....Yes the story has moved beyond that and i have also accepted the new narrative, esp the ILU....(for me it triggered an Arnav, who questioned his dimmag/dil)

    6. Dia,....I know my words "i wanted his junoon for her to overpower any thinking of righteousness" is a contrary thot to what i indicated above....but thats only becos....without that premise their love story does not exist....its about the pull they feel even believing the worst about the other. So it begins with that but grows into a deeper bond with greater understanding of what they mean to each other...

Phew.....i never knew love stories can be so exhausting*i thot they were meant for passing time*ARHI completely disabused of that notion LOL

    7. Alrite..If Rekhs is back to love stories are soo exciting means IPK is getting back to its old charm ;)

You know look at the MU on the terrace as 2 fold -
      betrayal of Arnav's love
      betrayal of his Di

I guess if Arnav's MU of his love being betrayed was cleared and he had severe doubts about the veracity of his MU about the betrayal of his Di by the time he said ILU then it makes sense?

So he had realized in his heart of hearts that she was innocent but he confessed his love to her without letting her know that his MU about her is cleared. And she is for now not thinking about it because she is so concerned for him. Only when she finds his location will she begin to hound Shyam about clearing her name again. And be in for a dhamaka surprise that Arnav no longer MUes her??

    8. I am saying they are exhausting....bheja fry baba....hehehe

Sandy, if i go by what u say, then the face-off will achieve only one purpose, to let Arnav know the role he has played to push Shyam in her life.....
but then IMO, that is a sin for which the punishment far exceeds the crime....Arnav is not responsible for Shyam debauched ways....he may be responsible for bringing her in harm's path....but did Arnav have any control over Shyam's actions after he met Khushi?

But i am eager to read ur views on that...

    9. Hi all,
By now all of you must be knowing that I’ve lost it, so last post for today.
      666- number of the beast.
      Beast is master of deception.
Who else is the master of deception?
      The CVs of course…
18 may be to deceive us. I am hoping to see ASR on 15 and for the track to be clear.
Don’t ask me how. Impossible becomes possible in Arhi land.
Pleeeeezzz….CVs- I cannot go on like this for another 3 days.

      @Rekha, hugs to you.

You think a lot like me.
Only you are better at making yourself understood.

‘Su, If u accept that Arnav has accepted his love inspite of everything.....the MU is only matter-of-course....’

YES, YES, YES... MATTER OF COURSE…..
All I am saying is, the timing is not right!!!

@ Dia, ‘Wasn't there a line somewhere where Khushi says, sometimes what you see and hear may not be the truth?’
I am aching to use that line somewhere.
It should come up in my confession.

May I please take up the 6 month clause and homebreaker angle with all of you later when my head is clear?

    10. And Dia,

Though I am talking in riddles, the explanation is right there on my 'blooper' post.
It is very clearly written there.
I am wondering why no one can see it.
This is what I mean by invisible ink.
