How quickly the weekdays go by when we're getting good episodes! Just two episodes left this week :(
Saccharine sweet episode ... no major dhamakas, no major tension ... sweet celebration of Raksha Bandhan, complete with Anjali's saccharine sweet smile for her brothers, an extra sweet one for the temple decorations, and a beaming wide one for the sight of Arnav dressed in white kurta ... he looked good!
Khushi gives raksha dhaga to Anjali ... Anjali tells her she wants time with her brothers as her rakhee gift. Point noted.
Anjali asks whose idea was it that Arnav wear the kurta she gifted him. Khushi says quickly it was NK's. Arnav gives a sideways look. Point noted :)
Anjali's mysterious phone calls make a return ... Khushi sees her.
*head desk* Khushi, keep your nose out of this one, you have enough problems of your own. Tell Arnav and let him handle his temperamental Di.
So nothing much happened ... Raksha Bandhan special feel good episode.
Am annoyed ... that beautiful new maroon and gold suit got barely five minutes of screen time? Hope we see it again. Loved Khushi's and Payal's sarees. Khushi was looking gorgeous. Payal looks much prettier with her hair pinned back.
Aww moment ... Arnav fiddling with his kurta irritatedly, asks HP to send Khushi to him. :">

Not much to add ... cv's, when everyone in tellyworld is celebrating festivals days or weeks late, what was the hurry to show Raksha Bandhan on the correct day and break up the intense track that was going on? At least give us a scene of Arnav picking up Khushi, a silent tense car ride ... something, anything!!! :(
Anyway, filler episode ... very few progress points ...
The tension between Arnav and Khushi is very apparent when they enter RM ... Nani confirms Khushi's story that Buaji is now better ... so the rest of the family will not know that Khushi lied.
Khushi gives Anjali a Raksha dhaga ... Anjali, kindly note manners here ... knock at door of married sibling, ask for permission to enter ... and not only Khushi, Arnav does that too ... can you return the favor?
Though why does Khushi have to give Anjali anything at all? Stay away from Di, girl ... you know she doesn't like you very much these days!
Or maybe Khushi was trying to give Anjali benefit of the doubt ... but Anali clarified matters straight away ... I want to spend time with my Chotey ... is that too much to ask?
Anjali ... woman ... just stop and think for yourself ... you want your young hot-blooded brother to spend time with his (s)motherly sister, instead of spending it with his young beautiful, very sexy newly married wife ... are you sure your brother is straight?!
And if you do ... why don't you ask your brother? Instead of his wife?
Arnav has bought jewelry by the kilo because Anjali likes it ... that's his surprise ... Khushi has another idea, but with the current silent war between her and Arnav, she's not sure he will listen to her ... so she gets NK as her ally ...
And Anjali is happily surprised to see Arnav wearing her gifted kurta ... delighted, in fact. Now that I did appreciate ...
And Khushi has got the message all right ... so she quickly clarifies it was NK's idea ... not hers ...
Probably she knows if Anjali knew it was her idea, she would pull another tearful quivering lips 'Chotey ab hamare Chotey nahin rahe ... biwi ki baat sun li aur kurta pehna ... Chotey badal gaye hain.'
However, if NK was the one who persuaded Arnav, it's perfectly all right.
Good thing Arnav is quicker on the uptake ... :">
Why the OTT joy at the decorations and Akash and NK in kurtas, though? They don't have an allergy to wearing Indian clothes ... it's only Arnav who does. Anjali's beaming wide smiles looked very fake and plastic today ... has she forgotten completely about her KP?
Liked the little touches of reality in the Rakhee scene ... Arnav's discomfort with the kurta, his self-conscious 'why is everyone looking at me? I'm not the only one who's worn this ...' and his teasing 'am I looking that bad? That you're crying?' I always prefer this type of bro-sis bondng to the saccharine sweetness.
*head desk* again ... Khushi, why go looking for trouble? In other words, Anjali? Give HP the thaali to give her ... and go to your own room when your husband is calling you ... Wait, I forgot, she's trying to distance herself from Arnav. Ok, forgiven ... just this once ... as long as you don't start talking to Anjali about her mysterious conversation with empty air.
And the 'Aww' moment again ... Arnav doesn't want to change out of his kurta yet ... and tells HP, 'send Khushi here ...' so hopefully we get a small ArHi scene tomorrow. There was a sharp drought today. :(
Added note - Arnav was wearing a KURTA ... not a Sherwani!!! :)) The Punju in me is offended!!! :))

I liked the episode today ... Tragedy queen was a little OTT but bearable.... Loved anji's saree...

Aaru..the one single thing that made me feel good about khushi today was that she now realises what anjali actually wants ... when she practically taunts her and says that she wants to spend some time with chotey and whether she is asking for too much!
DeleteSo now SHIDDAT to khushi distancing herself from arnav.. INFACT khushi sleeping either on the recliner or in the garden as before.. I wouldn't want her to share the same bed even till they sort things out after reaching this breaking point now..
and SHIDDAT to khushi breaking down reminiscent of the one she did just after wedding (albeit without a dubbed voice) and the one she did during the initial epis in the guesthouse.. reminding him of how wrong he has been in doing all he did to her.. and THEN walking out with dignity after the 10 days are over..

the episode went by too fast!..yeah, time flies when you're having fun. NK was amazing in lightening the whole episode. i am a little sad that they gave that huge gold dress only 5 minutes of screen time, but glad that the saree looks so delectable on her.. if you look around, khushi has the simplest saree of the whole group.. yet she shines! gorgeous gal, sanaya.

The highlight of the epi...Arnav realised that KP was Khushi's..idea....would have preferred it if he had worn on her idea but ok...

very abrupt that they brought ARHI in to the house after that powerhouse scene....It would have been better if they had shown them leaving GH yesterday in car and sitting silently in car if they did not want to show any convo....It was typical "mountain out of molehill" moment after yesterday

Let's go home.. let's not tell anybody anything, let's not give them the torture.. let's wait for 10 more days till the truth comes out, atleast rakhi will be done by then.. but till that time, we will be husband-wife for the family but not in person" (exactly the words that Arnav had uttered 6 months ago)
ok..rant over! sorry for all those who liked the epi today.. I sincerely did not.. the rakhi thing did not work fr me AT ALL when they could have delayed it by merely two days and showed a clear conversation b/w arnav khushi.. today it looked a complete discontinuation and felt like they were in desperate need to show rakhi celebrations!
sorry to say but the first scene of the behena show actually made sense to me today.. manvi is always shown to tie a rakhi to jeevika and today jeevika actually fulfills her duty of 'protecting' her sister by going against the patriarch of the family and pleading for manvi-virat relation..
the CVs should really take a look at the TRPs and think about what they are showing...clearly what they are showing isn't working for the audience..

Deletei dint particularly care for the rakhi celebrations per se, and the episode did suffer from poor editing, but this is exactly what they did during holi.. forget that there was drama happening, and give an almost alternate reality happy family celebration.
with the uproar we had about arhi missing their first teej after marriage(especially because last year teej was significant) they had to show some sort of tyohaar... and the phangurls will be chup after hotwa and hotwee in traditional garb..

(if I remember it right) after yesterday's scene, today was sooo disconnected! Arnav must have had a tough task managing his di after their parents' demise, with the way she must have been..he must have put heaven and earth together to keep her on cloud 9.. no wonder he nikalofies all the bhadas on khushi, di par to nahi nikal sakta na..she won't be able to tolerate such anger.. and no wonder why anjali is soo dependent on arnav for her own happiness.. her condition is that of a girl who has been in a raltionship since her teens, who hasn't seen the world by herself at all, but via her boyfriend..who has been soo used to him that life suddenly seems incomplete without him now that he is gone.. the difference here is that first it was her brother, then it was shyam.. lef to herself, she will sink into nothingness!

Agree with you guys, what was this episode about? Looked like a shambolic last minute effort at rakhi. No details and nuances of last year's rakhi episode or even rakhi the festival. I was expecting anji will have to tie rkhi to payal and khushi and she will tie rakhi to khushi as she believes in reeti rivaaz but will make a fuss about it giving Arnav hint that all izz not well. CVs didn't bother touching that at all.
DeleteYes it was like watching a Barjatiya production film, all dress up, perform ritual, eat, sing and enjoy. Only difference barjatiya productions ensure every little ritual is covered, every emotion is covered, our CVs forgot to do it...
They even sport a proper baby bump in barjatiya production unlike DB... Payal looked preggers as compared to Anji *headdesk*

DeleteShwetha I was in splits reading your comments. Invisible pregnancy it is! Barun looked handsome in his KP. Wish Khushi had continued to wear that lovely suit for the RB too. Why do they make her wear shabby suits for days and good ones like these are kept on only for a couple of blink-and-you miss minutes? Didn't quite like that orange saree of hers. DB's smile is plastic and painful. After the high drama yesterday this sugary episode is enough to give anyone diabetes.

the RM wasis were behaving the way they would have behaved last year, had there been no missing anjali.
Mads and shwetha, i second you.... i DID NOT like today's epi AT ALL!!! it was badly written and poorly executed. agreed, if it is seen has separate entity, say may be a dream sequence, then this was quite a good epi. when i saw A and K enter RM, i pinched myself to make sure i wasn';t dreaming.
with the way thing are gng, i am inclined to think that how and why khushi came to RM will be another of those questions that will straight away go to the "restricted section" along with all those WH qns about KN track.

I said yesterday....the reason why Arnav looked threatening in 10 day challenge was becos he was in a race to bring her back to RM for RB...it was a btw comment from me but today it is proved that is the only reason for this stand-alone epi....
only today i had a class on engineering disasters. one of the main reasons for the many engg disasters could be pressure from management to release a product without proper testing which may lead to catastrophe.

Arnav told his Di that she gave him the gift and he gave her the surprise. How true. Anj was responsible for bringing back Khushi into Arnav's life, thereby giving him the most precious gift he can ever hope to get. He,in turn, has been surprising her ever since, both pleasantly and unpleasantly.

I used to think in previous episodes that they were pushing back their hair. But today Akaash looked like he was pressing his hair down and Arnav just looked like he was just touching the back of his head. Is there a reason for this?? Not being Hindu I have no idea how this rasam works.

DeleteMariam, in Hindu tradition, we cover our heads for any pooja or religious function ... usually the women use their dupattas or sari pallus, and men use caps or hankies. If the men don't have any, they use their hands. Same with Khushi last year ... she didn't use her pallu to cover her head, so they showed her cover it with her hand ... of course, there she was recovering from the faint, and not doing it as part of the ritual, but that way the ritual got completed.

Teej is celebrated at different times in different parts of India so teej can come before or after RB depending on which teej one follows.
The only positive was Di going missing on RB. Wonder if it's too early to say one more moment recreated. If they are recreating old moments they might just recreat Teej and give us as composed an episode as holi or HR.

the thaal reflects Anj's state of mind. She feels she has been demoted from silver to peetal.
Khushi does not keep Arnies' clothes in the wardrobe. Didn't you notice how she left them behind on the bed while picking up her own clothes in the scene where Arnie gifts her the saree? So Arnie boy decided to use the services of HP to arrange his clothes.
I think that the hire charges for the cream suit Khushi wore were too high. They may have hired it by the hour. Since K had to do some jasoosi too, San would have had to wear the dress for at least 2-3 days. That is why they got her to change.
Arnie does not believe in God so no folded hands. HP has two bhabhis, isn't it? that is why the name is attached.
By the way now that you mentioned her, where is Lakshmi? High time she returns and smokes out the will taped under the cradle.
Jhaakee is a glimpse ... or a trailor ... so Akash and NK were the trailors for the actual surprise, which was Arnav in kurta ...

Deleteon second thoughts however, they showed no precap on wednesday and yesterday's two CUs were also the precap for today.. that scene can barely take up 5 mins..chalo, maximum 10.. what about the rest? If they have indeed shot scenes for Arhi before Barun left, then we might get something for today.. also, Sanaya's statement about how Arnav is trying very hard to kiss Khushi but is not being able to do it in the SBS smelled strongly of a scene she might have just shot.. :P
also, CVs wouldn't end the friday on an anjali-khushi scene ... unless it is shyam's re-entry for which I think its too early.. if they want to keep viewers hooked for monday epi, they WILL end on Arhi and perhaps also show us what their convo was as they left GH..
I think shyam's re-entry will be after the contract ends and arnav and khushi are strongly back together..that's when they both will fight together against him and for di's happiness (for whatever its worth) and her unborn child (if it IS indeed there) ..

DeleteYes, Rekha, he meant the KP. I took it to be symbolic of the fact that Di did gift him Khushi by bringing her back to RM. If she hadn't, they may well not have met up again. He has since been surprising her with his actions, be it his broad smiles and genunine laughter, his dancing, his drinking bhaang, his celebrating Holi, his falling so hopelessly in love, his wearing KP etc. In short things he has never done or has not done for ages, he is doing now, thanks to the gift (Khushi) she had given him.

It was a colourful episode. A sense of normalcy temporarily hiding the storms brewing within the house. Festivals have always been occasions whn family issues are set aside for some much needed calm and normalcy.
Tyohaar - a day when all hurts and sorrows, the trials and tribulations are defeated (har).
Today a husband and wife returned home still very annoyed and upset with each other. Yday thy had agreed to start siding with teh truth and stop playing games. The fact that Khushi's lie got covered up by Nani gives me hope that the fact of the Arnav Khushi marriage having undertones will not go beyond her at RM for now. Perhaps the GH already knows. Also, if the lack of surprise on Khushi and Arnav's face was for real, Buaji mentioned meeting Anjali and Nani in the hospital the previous day so they have an inkling that Anjali would again think they lied.
Khushi today seemed to have assumed the role of bahu of the house though not Mrs. ASR. Just yday I had spoken of how Anjali once said that Khushi brought happiness to RM. Today that is what happned, she came back and the house smiled again. She made teh daughter of the house smile and the family smiled again. But knowing Anjali's feelings towars her, Khushi was sensitive enought to not take credit. I wish she would tell her husband why she did not take credit when he asks her.
It was nice that she set about securing Di's happiness ot alone but with help from others and then there is the joy if inclusion that multiplies the joy of giving.
Like Khushi was once told, youy do not get a place just like that, you need to make a place for yourself. Arnav had to at GH and Khushi since tehre has been upheavel at RM needs to do it once again. May not be fair but this time if she realizes that no one is averse to her just that they all wished they had been included then the goal is easier.
It was nice that Khushi went to tell the brothers that the time was nigh for rakhi tying, oversaw decorations, bonded with one and all and also pushed Paayl to remind Akash rather than approach him herself. A slight ccognisance of boundaries (good ones). She can be very free with NK but with Akash there needs to be some more care as he is also her jeejaji. A perceptible thawing from Akash to see Khushi and Payal having taken the pains to make the day special for Anjali. A feeling of happiness perhaps to note that his Di and his family are also imporant to them and not just their buaji and parents. Most importantly Di smiled, she was joyous - what more would teh brothers want.
Adding to your rambles ... watched the little family scene again with the preparations for RB are going on ... for the first time, Khushi seems to be assuming some responsibilities ... calling the three brothers to get ready because it's time for Raakhee, directing the preparations, her interactions were limited to NK, Payal and Nani ... the three people who are unconditionally with her, so her smiles didn't seem out of place for me. I also liked the way she pushed Payal to approach Akash, and left Akash and Mami completely alone ... and the way the two bahus stayed in the background during the initial puja and the raakhee tying, and only moved forward for the final photos.
DeleteAlso noticed that Arnav carried in his wife's bag, and when he went off to his room, took it with him ... also noticed the slightly angry look he gave Khushi when she said Buaji was all right now ... still angry with her lies? Did Nani cover up for Khushi or did she not discover the truth from Buaji? Either could be possible, and Nani is wise enough to guess why Khushi needed some time out ... which Anjali in her currently confused state, is not.
Arnav and Khushi ...
If you love someone, set them free.
If they come back to you, they are yours.
If they don't, they never were.
Khushi has followed this faithfully ... set Arnav free, or tried to ... and he is back to her like a homing pigeon.
Arnav cannot dare yet to do the same ... so is he still insecure about her love for him?

DeleteYes she has set him free and he did come back to her. But she set him free not coz of herself but despite herself. She set him free coz of Di. So she had no expectation from him of coming back. What I mean is, she did not set him free to test his love for her. She knows he loves her and now she knows he trusts her as well. What she doesn't know is how much and to what extent he loves her....
Arnav also knows khushi loves him. That's in wednesday's episode when she sat with a fake plaster on her foot he deliberately hit the door. He knew she will come running to him. He knew she loves him enough to come to him and ask him 'kaha lagi aapko?' he is insecure because he knows she does not trust him yet that's why 'aise kya hai jo ab bhi tum mujh se nahi kah sakti' 'tum jasnti ho tum mujhse keh sakti ho' while closing the door at GH 'khushi i'm always there with you' She trusts him to save her from harms way but she doesn't trust him to understand her feelings...
May be that's why he has not brought up the important topics yet coz he knows she doesn't trust him yet. Before he can broach any serious topics like contract and Di and Shyam etc he needs her to trust him....

But what Arnav knows and needs to show her better to assure her insecurities is:

Anjali was happy beyond measure because it was surprises for her, her gift that got attention, decorations for her, all her brothers thinking of her. She told Khushi she only wants some tim with her brother and no girts or surprises but was she totally true to herself? Today was raksha bandhan so all her brothers were doting but there is a daily life too and every day life is not a cinema - the grind is part and parcel of it. But does that mean they think and care about her any less?
AT GH Buaji will deifinitely be brought on board just liek Nani was at RM and buaji knows Shyam lusting after Khushi and why Khushi kept quiet.
As always, on a happy day like this, the one thing Anjali brings up as a memory is the one most painful to Arnav. Was ti a reminder to him that we have a bind strengthened by the pain it has been subjected too? Was it necessary?
Arnav's gift aapne diya, surprise maine - seems to indicate something to do with Khushi for me. Aranv today missd the part where Nani tells Khushi that Di is in her room resting. If Anjali who had been up and about in Khushi's absence, makes herself scarce again with her being in teh house, will it send a message to Arnav?
Wil lArnav thank Khushi for making the day special for Di and his fmily and then ask her why she did not accept her part and that leads to nok jhok between them?
Anjali an be many things but she is not hallucinating. She knows facts, just chooses to view them selectively as suits her prupose. The Khushi who always pushed the brother towards teh sister is today being only considered as having pulled him away from her.
In relationships, a moment in time cannot undo the experiences fo a lifetime together!
Anjali sees only teh moment and forgets the accumulation of memories that shoudl convince her of the love from both Arnav and Khushi. Why? Who let her down such that in one moment, every fond memory she had had was relegated to a lie? Perhaps the reason why she tends to so tenuouslyy hold on to her present and everyone associated with it?
Today fro a family piture, Anjali planted herself at the centre but by her side were the 2 mother figures Nani and Mami, especially Mami with the aarti ki thaal and the diya. Khushi stood near Nani and Payal near Mami. Anjali's misconceptions about these 2 bhabis will be gradually undone by the 2 mothers?

DeleteWhen I firs saw the epi, I went blank. It was much later at night that a scene came back to me, Khushi in the middle of the hall co-ordinating and then the song came to mind.
It is the small lies that wil end up as the undoing of trust. The termites that eat their way into relationships.

ReplyDeleteArnav and Khushi with Akash - again a bond wherein they work together to sort out issues plaguing both relationships? Also, in that picture, DM's Trishul was very evident. One prong NK, One prong, Akash, in the centre Arnav with a genda phool blunting the edge and the stem of the Trishul near Khushi.
NK will be the guadrian angel -ever watchful and ever smiling at this family's happiness. Today ANjali finally took her first stepo towards DM after the fiasco in her life with her brother showing her the way.
Arnav told her that she telling him everything will be a clause in a subsequent deal and Khushi in the precap mentions "SHould I tell Arnavji?"
Hmm so what did happen between the nigh and the dawn? Did Arnav with Nani's permission propose to Khushi but they have to wait till ANjali gets better? Is that why Khushi si mollified to some exyent becasue she to some extent knows her position in the house? But still has not heard about him about her position in his heart?
Or is it that she has been given a status in the hosue when she knows that Anjali is not paricularly fond of her for now.
Arnav telling Anjali about her gift and his surprise, Is Anjali going to gift Arnav his jeejaji when he surprises her with wedding vows renewal with Khushi. With Shyam around, Khushi will never leave Arnav and Anjali open to his vile actions. Their protection will be her prime objective.

DeleteI felt very disconnected with yesterday episode like everyone else here. We can only assume things happened like Arnav could have proposed khushi or not.... They could have told buaji about shyam khulaasa at RM or not. He could have had more discussion/argument after the wednesday epi or not. He could have been questioned by Anji about the buaji's health lie after he came back that evening or not??? It's too much to assume.
Given that the CVs have not bothered showing Arnav's thought process during KN track leading to ILU and then to hut scene what are the chances we will get a glimpse of what transpired during that night??? It's just too much to ASSUME.
They just completely brushed that tense convo under the carpet yesterday. I feel let down after yesterday's epi. I don't want to keeping lOoking for minute details I eant them spelled out please.... Make it easier to get into the leads' heads please.
Although I do agree that Anji is not hallucinating. It's not Anji calling Anji... It's Shyam (or middle man) calling Anji...
I can almost feel more and more of 'ab hamare chotey hamare nahi rahe... and then one fine day she drops the bomb... Hum kaisey maan le ki jo khushiji kahe rahi hai wohi sach hai. Khushiji ne bahout baar jhoot bola hai aur ab toe chotey bhi humse jhoot bolne lage hai...
Chotey might try to explain but Anji might think he is only doing this protect his wife....

tho...i agree oflate her speeches have tended to make her sound more possessive by intent/design. (the operative word her is more). How much is too much is a matter of perception.
in the past, they have shown her over-proctective of arnav...even then we commented that she mothers him too much
but it did not seem to rankle becos he wasn't married but now that same thing seems odd to some becos normally people tend to step back a little in sibling relationships when there is a new bond like marriage..
In fact, she did that too after marriage, i thot...but her own life has now taken a turn for the worse, she seems to be clingy for that reason...nothing really out of the ordinary if u accept that she is emo fragile
Personally, i have no pref on how anji should turn out...make her whatever just justify her behaviour as per her character...thats all....
why i can't be a anji sympathiser is i don't know her facts...if i did, i may view her more humanely.. I presume she had a hard time in the past and that hard time has re-visited her...tuf....but she also has the benefit of a supportive family which is a luxury in times of strife...so unless i get a glimpse of her past...i can only say she is still more fortunate than many. But i hold no paryicular opinions abt it

Hum bhi lucknowi :) There are so many references to Lucknowi lifestyle in the serial e.g. once mami mentioned about the 'Budh bazaar' which is a weekly haat held on wednesdays.
Infact this is what drew me to this serial...otherwise neither I was aware of sanaya or MJMT being such a good serial...athough I used to like the chashmish girl in MJMT while swapping channels. To be frank I could not recognize that the actor playing Khushi is the same girl... Courtesy goes to R&R.

Thanks Mads, hope this finally is the blast from the past. But there has never been a mention their dadi even in the passing, has there? The only thing I can think is that either the siblings don't get in with dadi or the memory of the past is too painful to have kept any connection with dadi after chacha threw them out....

1. Bitwa running his finger down biwi’s sexy wet neck: Was that a re-creation of the ‘Kasrat’ scene where bitiya gaped open mouthed at HH’s sexy wet look?
2. This scene:
K; “Hum gir gayein. Hum aapke saath Ghar nahi aa sakte. Hum apni Paier neeche zameen par bhi nahi rakh paa rahein hain.”
-In future, Bitya will fall and be swept away under the strong current of accusations?
Back to scene-
Then ASR goes and hurts himself. She goes running to him and gets back into the ‘chot’ act:
K: “Woh aap wahan gir gaye the iss liye hum daude chale aayein”:
(Actually ASR had not ‘fallen’ yesterday, he had just hit his leg. She should’ve said ‘aapko chot lagi’, why ‘gir gaye’?)
In future, ASR himself might have to face a lot of accusations (from whomever or something that he inflicts on himself to get her back) and Khushi will run to him; may be that is how they will get back together?
3. Scene after K jumps in front of the car:
ASR”Tumhe waapas laakar hi rehoonga, Khushi. Contract khatam hone se pehle”
:K: “nahi aaongi, jab tak contract khatam nahi ho jaata TAB TAK waapas nahi aaongi”
She implies that she will RETURN ONLY AFTER the contract is over. ???
I think here she is saying that she will carry on with this act till the contract is over, and the real original Khushi will come back only after the deal is over.
Does this mean she will play along and do whatever he says, she will be obedient, but in the end she will have ‘her way’?
Is that what we are going to see now?

Right now the CVs are up to their old tricks- K might relent for a while. (after SBS). We might even get a heart to heart talk, which I was not expecting till now.
They do this quite often.
They might take a loop and come back to the same point and then take it up from there.
Who knows?
But I enjoy the way they are going about this track. Confusing, but there is something beautiful in every episode.

They are rushing thru the days almost 1 day per day to reach a dead line.
I take it ASR would've returned home yesterday and picked her up in the morning. NO heart to heart talk yet, since both wouldn't even look each other in the eye in the rakhi epi.
SBS seems like his way of saying sorry, starting with the pearl necklace. And she will be moved, does not mean everything is going to be fine.

ReplyDeleteThe tenseness continued. It was just temporarily brushed aside for teh festival. Yes there was some disconnect but what happens b/w that ending and the couple entering will be eventually showed to us.
Khushi speaking of buaji - either Arnav was annoyed she is still covering up to protect loved ones or it could have been surprise that she actually has started sticking to facts - Only the truth and No more games!
Whether Khushi knew or not already we will know shortly. Also Khushi's first port of call was Di and she mentioned buaji too.
The last bit you have written is true. And can youblame Anjali for it? She herself has abetted Khushi so many times in the past to am twist Arnav - manoing him for sangeet and so on. Arnav has always seen through and sine they were harmless they were brushed off. But examples for the younger ones have been set.
Arnav when his "bas pehan liya Di" will add more fuel to the fire. It will be proof of something Khushi was able to make him do that she Anjali could not in so many years (hink about the going away on Ma's bday thing). So it will in her unbalanced mind all start adding upto Arnav distancing himself whereas it will be she herself who will push him away. I also found it ominous that she started Rakhi with NK and came to Arnav last - a reflection of her love for people at present? NK made her laugh, made Arnav wear sherwani for Di, Akash has not been coochie cooing Payal and seems to be mourning with Di and lastly she cmes to chotey who has seems to have been playing truant.
Yday was quite on the face. The confusion this past week aslo has been because they have been weaving the past into the current storyline.

The order of tying Rakhi: I felt it was starting with the youngest and also saving the best for the last!
I do realise the tensed moments are not near over yet... It's just the beginning of what is to come. I would have preferred RB woven into the story rather than making it a standalone aloof episode with connect to the present.
DeleteOn rakhi tying, did anji not tie rakhi to Akash first last year as well and saved arnav's for last. I might be wrong but that's what I remember of it. She is least close to NK so NK goes first, then to Akash so Akash goes next and closest to 'hamare chotey' so chotey goes last....
Last year khushi made laddoos - mithas. She helped find Anji and bring their smiles back...
This year she got arnav to wear tradition attire and helped with decorations and stuff so again brining smile to bro-sis....
anji will surely come to know its K's idea..why will the Cvs let go of a golden opp to create an MU?
