Cv's seem to have found a formula ... first five minutes have to be ArHi, to get the TRP meter ticking? So another very cute scene to start with ... Arnav comes back to keep his troublesome biwi quiet, she promptly falls asleep in signature Khushi style, holding on to his collar, so of course Bitwa goes to sleep in what has become signature Arnav style ... holding her hand. :"> And they even wake up in the morning together ... becoming a little used to this sleeping together business ... as his first thought when he wakes up is ... she doesn't sleep like this at home ... and he even asks her why, as soon as she wakes up! Curiously, as though he really wants to know :)
Anjali knows Arnav has spent the night at Khushi's house ... well, she did give him 'permission' ...
Shuklaji arrives, Khushi visits the builder and finds out Arnav has taken over ... does that mean that horrendous suit was only for half an episode? And Khushi loses her temper in rather spectacular fashion ... after mentioning the few days left ... then turning down Arnav's offer to move in with him ... and Arnav keeps his cool ... very easily ... the man has been attending those anger management classes finally! Only one slap for the man who called his wife an item? And does he have a new office?
Anjali Nani NK ... Anjali making raakhees, she doesn't want anything from Arnav except that he stay with her ... hmm. And more blank calls ... hmm. NK is back ...
BG tell Khushi she has to go back to her sasural ... the power and water are cut off ... and from the precap, Khushi is locked out. So Arnav will force her back home? What about the contract? What exactly is he waiting for ... does he want her to bring it up? And what will Anjali ask for on Raakhee?

Thoughts on the episode as a whole ... I will do an update on the ArHi scene later today, am out most of the day :)
Arnav knows Khushi confides in him when she is angry, she seeks him out when she feels helpless and she loves a challenge.
So he's trying a mixture of all three ... but to do what? To force her to come back to him? To accept that their marriage is for keeps? Or to make her spill the truth about why she's staying away from him ... is it only because of the contract, or is it also because of Di's feelings for her? And Arnav knows the first reason, but has he also guessed about the second? If not, what stops him from simply telling her - you are my wife for all time, not only until the contract expires. I asked this question a coule of days back too, and answered it. Adding to that answer - is this more insecurity on Arnav's part as well? That if it's about the contract, he can nullify that, but Di and her feelings might not be so easy to overcome?
I guess we will have to wait and watch ... is Arnav on the right track or not. I said a couple of days ago that he is not doing things the right way ... and at the end of the contract he will discover the error of his ways ... I still hold to that thought
Apart from that, the office scene was to show the ASRization of Khushi ... me, I like the old Khushi, I'd rather she not get too ASR-like ... one ASR is more than enough! Though I noted that Khushi vented her feelings only on inanimate objects, she wasn't angry enough yet to tackle Arnav physically ... or maybe, she felt it wasn't the right place ;) But on second watch, that last bit of the scene was quite superfluous - they could have stopped it when she got mad at Arnav's obstinacy - the tantrum was not required at all.

First ArHi scene ... Loved it ... what's not to love? An exasperated yet caring hubby, pushed his stubborn wifey a bit too far, she got back at him, he caved and took back his last command in the interest of peace ... and sleep! 
Loved the little touches that showed how comfortable and completely at home Arnav is at GH, tidying up the plates, switching off the TV, and of course, carrying his wife to bed, tucking her in ... and staying the night with her ... the signature Khushi holding on to his collar and the new signature, Arnav holding her hand ...
Also loved the waking up ... so completely at ease sleeping together now, that Arnav's first thought was not about that ... it was wondering why she is so different in RM ... here she sleeps sprawled all over him, and there she stays firmly on her side of the bed. The start of a thought process ... that Khushi doesn't feel that their relationship is accepted at RM, while in GH, everyone accepts them completely as husband and wife.
And loved his acceptance ... holding her hand while he sleeps is a habit now.
I don't understand WHY Khushi has to organise the rent all by herself ... surely Buaji has been paying the rent for so many months on her own ... why this sudden need for Khushi to do it all? One of the glaring lacunae in the script ... wait, there are more coming
But Khushi's happiness and pride at earning her money was very sweet, and her reluctant smiling admission, with a touch of pride, in her hubby ... he's not that bad after all ... he respected her need to keep her dignity intact and not just take the money from him.
The office scene ... more lacunae in the script ... I understand that the writers had to get Khushi fuming mad, and make her claim her marital status in front of the new builder ... but Arnav sending a secretary down with the message that she needs to move in with him?!
And Khushi says she wouldn't move in just because she's married? So if she wasn't, she might consider it? And after sending the message through a secretary, Arnav then gets annoyed when someone badmouths Khushi?! Wasn't he asking for it by making such an offer? Besides putting himself a bad light as well ... basically proclaiming to the world that he's in the middle of a spat with his wife. Poor writing ... very poor!!!

And I have a strong feeling that he realised that ... hence Garima and Buaji ... or maybe only Garima, are in on the next stage of his plan ... the pressure starting from her maika to return to her sasuraal ... while they conveniently disappear for the day to let him get on with the next step ...
Also, today Khushi realised that she might just have a tough time explaining to her maika when she is actually back for good ... but being Khushi, she sweeps her own problems under the carpet for now ... Khushi, don't you need to think about that at all? CV's, some light on her thoughts here please?
More crib to the cv's ... if you don't want Arnav to come across as bullying and threatening, rather than a man with a grand plan ... do, please do give him some monologues, or a few mysterious phone calls or something ... the bulk of the audience might not bother to spend so much time and energy decoding the man, and would be happy to brand him as being insensitive and cruel, forcing his wife to come back to him without bothering about her feelings at all.
A quick note on Anjali ... the change in her started ever since that first blank phone call. Before that, she was distancing herself from her brother, blaming him for changing ... since that first call, she has bridged the gap with her brother, and made absolutely no call on Khushi ... except for politely inviting her to eat before she left the house ... she has not acknowledged that Khushi even exists ... despite the fact that Arnav has told her directly that he loves Khushi. Arnav needed to stay at Buaji's house, because Buaji was unwell ... no mention of Khushi in that equation at all.
Shyam has nothing to gain by distancing Arnav-Anjali ... his gain is by distancing Arnav-Khushi, and keeping Arnav-Anjali firmly together ... with Arnav still firmly under Anjali's thumb ...
And my favorite Nani ... For Raakhee, Anjali wants Chotey around her ... Nani wisely points out that Chotey does have other calls on his time now ... his duties, not his wishes ... Nani too is treading on eggshells w.r.t to Anjali's feelings about Khushi, she was the one who told Khushi to stay away from Anjali, she now brings Khushi into the conversation, but not as a desire or need of Arnav, but as a duty.
NK ... no comment for now ... he is a breath of fresh air all right, and it's good to see him back :) ... but what his role will be in the further drama ... front front see bhat bhat happens ...

but like when he asks her to leave home.. I do think that A would have informed the guptas about the renovation, and asked to keep it away from K, and hence they want her to go back to RM, hence when they come back they will leave which will make K lose her temper and blast arnav exactly like she did at the Guest house incident last year.

kuch nahi geeta .....they just don't their leads to have a proper convo with the actual issue. First they did it with ASR satao 101 and now they are doing it with KKGSR satao 101. Only thing is he is not writing a diary.

DeleteAaru guest house 360 sounds like a good idea. May like swami act where khushi was trying to rile up arnav enough to get him to say why he married her, he is doing the same. He will push her enough that she completely blows off at him. Gets things things out of her system, lets it all out. Once she has let it out he can then talk to her.

Liked the episode, especially the first scene. The contrast in Arnav's behaviour between then and now is clearly evident although he is firm on getting his way. He is pushing all Khushi's buttons. Hope that will get Khushi to lash out and pour out her feelings. So Raksha Bhandhan is coming up and Shyam is still hounding Anj. Anj is hiding the fact from her family. Need to see if Anj's stance (white, grey or black) will be revealed on the Rakhi day.

ReplyDeleteI think he has already alerted Buaji and family about his plans. Buaji and her mother have made it clear they want her to return to RM. I have a sneaking suspicion that he will tell them that they will be shifting to a new place till he can get their place renovated. Remember Buaji had complained about seepage? Khushi may not be aware of this and presume he is throwing them out and hopefully gives him a earful of everything he has put her through. That should get him a glimpse of her pain and his RTRW.

1. GUL: Stop being so damn obsessed with ASR. It is a love story between two people. Concentrate on Khushi from her character to her wardrobe.
2. ASR: The moment you make your domestic issues with your wife such a public spectacle, prepare to hear a comment or two. Consider yourself lucky that you didn't get sued for physical abuse. And sorry that line about expecting him to respect your wife and other ladies, didn't impress me.
Once again you created a mess and you try to fix it.
3. Khushi: I didn't like the whole office stationary throwing tantrum.....If you wanted to throw something, then you should have aimed at ASR. The files, the papers were all there and THAT would have been fun. Your pushing him ala GH Style, Your throwing things and him ducking or deflecting whatever...That would have been fun.

The audience sympathy should be divided the very least and not lay solely with ASR.
You need to remind ASR and everyone about Diwali night, the way you got married, the way you quietly suffered through everything without giving him anyway.
Yes, he is not giving you away either or ever will, but that we know........Your side most viewers unfortunately seem to have forgotten.
FINAL RANT:
ASR was the guy who always gave the aura of being someone who would take care of Khushi, pamper, indulge and be - protective of Khushi. I am not seeing that tenderness in him when he sees her even in the scenes where she is not watching him or she is asleep.
Yes I get it, he is getting back to his old self, he is slowly being freed from the shackles of the past and he wants the fighting khushi back but something is missing.
Khushi - Tum jo itna muskuara rahay ho, kya gam hai jisko chupa rahay ho? Where is that Khushi?
Sorry folks for the danda and the rant, I did enjoy the episode, but this has been building up for a while.

Right now I feel it's Bitwa's character that is being massacred ... why is he being such a jerk?! Why is he forcing her to come back like this, when he knows the real issue is the contract? Khushi's remark of "humne kismat likhna" dialogue was very reminiscent of sandy's point of how their characteristics are getting interchanged...
I liked Khushi's nonchalance when she is asked to pack her packs and go to RM...it was of a girl who knew that the luxury of self-pity was not hers...she had a job to do....and do she will...That was a luxury reserved for someone at RM.(sorry, i am being mean)but thats why Khushi is my favorite despite all the silly things she does or rather the CVs make her do....

Its confirmed! The serial has 2 sets of writers(cvs) and one set is the great one which gives us all those OHHHH!! episodes, and ONE set is the one which was working today and on all those days after the marriage and the Arnav ko satao days.. which gives us the stupidest episodes and dialogues we can think of!

But I did like the beginning scenes uptil when he sent the money.. that was nice that he did not make her ask for it but sent it on time.

Haven't seen the epi yet but reading all your comments about todays epi and RB coming up soon in IPK I get a feeling that he wants KKGSR to come home for RB. after Anji bhai ko rakhi bandhegi toe bhabhi ko bhi toe rakhi bandhegi... If he tells khushi directly to come home for RB she might not come. So he is creating a situation for her to come hime to RM. he might still be renovating GH I guess but the main purpose of putting that condition in front of khushi may be coz he eants her next to him for RB.

Shwetha - again - i think they are not playing with KKG - they are playing with ASR's character - they really need to come up with a solid reason for this turn of events - if ODG has the family in confidence - (which i am pretty sure is not the case given the history of the CVs inability to do so) - this will still be acceptable otherwise if he cut off their water and electricity supply of one sick and two old women - unforgivable!!!
I finally understood why you guys keep asking ODB to enunciate - i usually watch the epi on my lappi and can hear him loud and clear - today got bits of it on TV and could hardly understand ODB - he seemed to be mumbling :(

Awwww.... How cute was bitwa picking up samosa and jalebi ki plates and keeping them in the kitchen for khushi.... Reminded me of that scene where she fakes fainting and asks bitwa to get water and he calls HP. When HP does not come he very relunctantly goes to get water for her but today he has no hesitation picking up her empty tea cup and plates and keeping them in the kitchen....

Bitwa's next challenge... Well IMO for bitwa to talk it took khushi's suicide why? Coz his biggest fear was to see khushi hurt / go away forever i.e. khushi's death. What riles up bitiya the most? Why did blow up after GH incidence last year? Bitiya gets very upset when her family is made to suffer, isn't that why she blew up after GH episode last year... She was not upset about her own suffering in that dilapidated building but she was upset coz her family her jeeji and buaji must be really upset. During suicide track road side confrontation, khushi was quiet would not talk, would give no explanation as long as he was accusing her but as soon as he brought up her parents she talked. Once she opened her mouth she gave him the whole story about shyam, about how he lied and got engaged to her.... So what does bitwa do to get khushi to open up and talk, talk even it means blasting him, he attacks her under the belt. He knows his khushi she will not let any pain, any hurt as long as it's only her suffering but she will blast him if he tries to harm her foster family. Ofc bitwa will never ever harm BGB. He could never knowingly hurt them before, ab toe absolutely never.
He obviously has an idea that it's the contract and possibly Di that's making khushi behave the way she is.... He needs khushi to let it all out. He needs her to share her pain. He wants her to understand and realise that he is there for her, he is there to share all her pain...
That said and done loved bitwa's smirks and loved khushi's WT in the office. Complete role reversals in the office scene... 'jab hum baat kar rahe hai toe beech mein mat boliye, aap ke saath rahte rahte hum bhi apni kismat khud likhna sikh gaye hai...'

For Khushi confronting ASR with the marriage issue. Simply show she went to boss straight, got to know its her husband only. Asks him how can he do this with his wife and in-laws .... he answers ... so behave like one and come back to RM.
As for the taddap issue it could have been shown that the guy passed on a comment to boss wife knowingly without boss himself making his wife sound like an item.
or he could have passed the comment to any other girl in the office .... a clear warning with deadly ASR glare would have made more impact.
Ok for the last time I will not rant OR I should stop saying that. Makes IPK life easier :D :D :D

But I must say, this scene was the only one I didn't like in the show. Everything else was OK.
Didn't mind THE SLAP: It fits ASR's original character. When it comes to K's izzat , his ANGER WILL KNOW NO BOUNDS. Also wondered if the SLAP was a trailer of things to come.
K throwing things around: Showed ASR (atleast he thinks)is in perfect control- liked the whole 'I've seen this before' look.And also that K is not perfect.

On re-watch, I felt the office scene was badly written ... the first bit, where Arnav gives the message through his secretary was completely stupid ...
and then Khushi doing an ASR and trashing the office was unnecessary.
Till then, her actions were very understandable ... getting furious at the indecent proposal, barging in to confront the guy right away, falling silent when she finds it's Arnav ... he actually tells his people politely to leave ... they continue the discussion in private, she's angry as to why he's doing this, when she told him it's just for a few more days ... he continues the blackmail, she refuses to give in ... if she had walked out then I would have been perfectly happy. That last bit of trashing the office was put in just to show the ASRization of Khushi, and it didn't work for me.
And of course, Arnav getting annoyed at the guy calling his wife an item, when he had basically started the ball rolling with his indecent proposal was even more stupid ... again put in to glorify ASR, and show how the guy actually respects women ... but it backfired because of his first message.
The rest of the episode was all right ... I liked it all ... but like I said, the cv's have to show very soon that Arnav is not a heartless monster out to kick his in-laws into the street to force his wife back home ... and Khushi has to start thinking about how she's going to deal with the end of her marriage, when her family is telling her to go back after just a few days.
Also, the Guptas not knowing about Shyam's unveiling yet at RM is even more stupid - that has to come out soon. Makes no sense that Payal Khushi would not tell their family that Shyam's truth is now known at the RM ... what earthly reason is there for them to hide this?

Khushi's logic for keeping the Shyam revelation from GH:
Her jawab has only put up more questions in front of her.
If she tells about Shyam, she also has to say about kidnap and the fact that Di does not trust her any more. It will complicate matters further at home. Right now, they are happy that all is well, let them stay that way since they cannot really help much here.
Did you notice the look on K's face when Garima says,"you cannot stay in maika forever"- Yes. K is worried. How is she going to explain her actions at the end of 13 days. But right now, the priority is Arnavji and his di. She is willing to take the whole blame for the past 6 months up on herself, if the need arises. She will try and shield ASR from GH's anger. (I think. And am I stretching my imagination too far here? Ho ho ho.... The CVs will be rofl if they are reading all this!)
Payal's logic: Boy, never knew my hubby will make such a big deal of all this. And now how to tell Amma and buaji there is a big rift between us as an aftermath of Shyam revelation.
Basically, the revelation did not end in a happy note for the sisters. It only brought them more heartache.And they want to keep it from their family.
One thing I realized about khushi even if she's very angry or no matter how hurt she was, she can't hurt arnav that's why instead of throwing things directly to A she just throw things around. Her heart is really big.

I think although ASR has an inkling that khushi left because of the looming contract and Di being unhappy, he is blissfully unaware of how much Di's unhappiness has affected khushi. He also needs to start to realise more and more the difference between KKG at GH and KKGSR at RM.
For Anji to throw tantrums at RB about Khushi or even show her unhappiness with khushi, K has to be at RM on RB. if we have Anji asking ASR to bring back shyam on RB as a gift then it would have a greater impact on A if K is around coz he knows it will be an insult to K having to live under the same roof as VLR after what happened. This would mean Arnav will have to make some tough choices isn't it?
Somehow I don't think Anjali will ask for Shyam to be brought back ... not yet. She will ask something that will somehow distance Khushi from Arnav ... what exactly, I can't think. I am hoping it will be something that lights a tubelight in Arnav's dimaag as to what Anjali is trying to do.
DeleteAnd I think Shyam is already manipulating Anjali in this ... as I wrote in the main post, and also we discussed some time back ... Shyam has nothing to gain in separating Arnav-Anjali. He wants to separate Arnav Khushi ... either as revenge from Khushi because he hates her as the cause of his downfall, or in a more twisted way, still wanting to possess her ... and of course, if he discredits Khushi in Anjali's eyes, he gains back his position ... because Arnav cannot deny Anjali anything. So Shyam won't do anything so obvious as get Anjali to ask for his return yet ... but again, I can't think what exactly he will do.
Someone pointed out here that Anjali has changed since that first blank call ... till then she was distancing herself from Arnav, but after that call, she has become sweet and loving with Chotey again ... was that a reaction to her turning grey and the cv's switching back to a white Anjali, or is that evidence of how Shyam has already started manipulating her?
Dia I agree that Anj might not ask for Shyam to be brought back on Rakhi as she already told nani she doesn't want anything other than for chotey with her. So she might try to create a rift between arnav and khushi. And ofc the more khushi goes away from arnav, the more he will try to woo her and the more insecure Di will get. I think it's this insecurity that will make Anji bring back Shyam. This is if the CVs want Anji to be perceived as grey.

Khushi:
1. What does she want?
A smile on her face- which translates to:
A smile on mami’s and Di’s face.
2. According to her , how can she achieve that?
By leaving RM forever. Kuchh cheezein toh badli jaa sakthi hai: This marriage Is only a contract- in 13 days everything will be OK. Contract will be over. Marriage will be over. Di and mami will be happy. If Di is happy, Arnavji will be happy.
ASR:
3. Khushi said she wanted a smile on her face. What did he understand by that?
He knows he upset her by accusing her for Di’s misfortune and he got her angry by mentioning the contract.
4. How is he trying to get a smile on her face?
By reliving old memories- trying to prove to her that no matter how angry she is, she loves him. As much as he loves her.
He tried with the flowers and the saree. He tried talking. And her only answer is “everything will be fine by the end of 13 days.”
5. What is he trying to do now?
Find ways to keep her with him by hook or by crook.
Gifts and pleading got him nowhere. What else can he do? And it is taking longer than he expected. And he is not exactly happy that he has to use force, but he can’t help loving the ‘fighter’ that LG brings out in her.

DeleteMy two bits - i don't thing ODB has the wrong idea - see ODCVs don't want us to know what he is going through - they want us to think he hasn't changed at all and then it will come out in the open that he meant to do only good! - so basically they should be serving us a trick up their sleeve with regards to ODB - what ODCVs don't know is that we want words from ODB!!!! not only to his dear wife (which by the way have increased ten folds recently!) but some monologue - a la KKG - but i guess the CVs want to keep the ASR mystery by not letting him speak - unfortunately its creating a bad image rather than an intriguing image

But she canot shake him off. He will stop at nothing to get her back now. Why doesn’t he understand, “In sab cheezon se koi farak nahi padta”?
All she wants is for his Di to smile- and the only way for that to happen is to get Khushi out of her life. Because Khushi does not have PROOF for anyone any more. She is not going to try to get proof, because the last time she tried it, she put ASR’s life in danger.
Khushi is angry because she knows SHE HAS TO LEAVE, that is the ONLY SOLUTION to his problems in RM. And she thinks Arnav- Khushi is not as important as Arnav- Anjali.
Afterall he said “ILU” only few weeks back and the bro- sis relation is what mattered to him MOST in the past, it will be so in the present and future too. She is not angry that she has to be second to Di in his life, that is precisely why she is leaving.
14. Is she justified in not telling him the real reason?
Actually, she already told him the first time she packed her bags.
She knows there is no point in elaborating it any further, because he will just not let her go. If the rose carpet had not happened, she’d have stayed on till the end of the contract and then left. But after seeing Anjali’s reaction there, she was sure that Anjali will never trust her again and hence she had to lie and get out ASAP.
15. Is she justified in getting angry?
YES. YES. YES.
Why can’t he just see that she has to be out of his life? Why is he pulling this LG act and dragging her family into this?
She does not want his ‘ehsaan’ because she will not be his wife at the end of 13 days. SHE CANNOT BE anymore.

I too initially thought that it was about the contract (or should I say I hoped it would be because we can then see them take the promises afresh). Your logic seems more apt given the episodes since she left. Di is the primary reason for her decision. Would explain why she told him it would all work out in a few days, implying that the contract would lapse, she would no longer be his wife and therefore, not a thorn in AA relationship. If it was the contract, Arnav would have settled it more easily but since it is about Di and her insecurities it would be that much more difficult to convince her that her presence would not matter. RB will be a watershed. One thing I do not want to see is for Shyam to return to RM and Khushi being forced to live there. That would be the heights of insensitivity to the girl's suffering.

I also agree with you that unless Di is satisfied of Khushi's innocence, this impasse will not get resolved and Arnav has to work towards that but the guy did not bother to check on the facts to clear his own misunderstanding. Can we expect him to do it for his Di? Remains to be seen. Whatever it is unless we have a team Arshi, this is going nowhere.

There was no need to marry her in a hurry. The very fact that he did it shows that he didn't trust her then. Does saale saab have any proof other than his 'ATOOT VISHWAS' that this two timing girl has not hoodwinked him too!
I don't know if the CVs will actually deal with the issue so thoroughly.
But, when I hear this Q again and again on why he doesn't get proof of the engagement?- yes simple si baat hai. But does it stop there?
And as an explanation for the zabardasti shaadi- *How can ASR prove Khushi's innocence?*

May be the CVs will not go so deep and it will be a matter of just proving the engagement. But I have a lot of respect for their shatir dimaag, so I'll wait and watch.

This is only a gut feeling, so I cannot swear by it.

I am not expecting RTR in any form in this track. Max, we might get one or two small fbs on how he ill treated her after the wedding.
Let me go back to Arhipathy. He asked her,"Kya kiya Khushi tune mere saath?". He is living in that moment still. He can only see love, like you said.
ONE DAY, he will be made to ask himself this question,
"Kya kiya Khushi, maine tere saath!"
That will be the RTR.
I am expecting it only at the end of the 13 days.
Till then I am following this as a light romantic track. I think we all deserve this break after sitting thru all that kidnap and chess.
And me especially, after all, I am seeing only gloom and doom ahead!( Basically my def of RTR- bitiya will suffer, bitwa will suffer and we'll all suffer!)
If there is heart to heart talk and renewal of vows in this track, it will be a surprise bonus for me.

Khushi does know that Arnav loves her and she loves him ... but she underestimates her own importance in his life, and gives greater importance to Di ... with good reason ... and she feels that Arnav will learn to live without her, but he can never be happy if Di is unhappy. SHE is the cause of Di's unhappiness, so she HAS TO LEAVE for Di and Arnav to be happy.
And also agree with you that until her innocence to Di is proved beyond doubt, Di will never accept her ... in fact, I said this in reply to one of your questions a few days ago.
Is Arnav on the right track? He thinks it's all about the contract ... but does he also have an inkling it is about Di as well? Remember he gave Di only some half-truths about Khushi, he said he married Khushi for Di's sake, he fell in love with Khushi after marriage ... has he forgotten he was going to confess his love when he saw the terrace scene? I don't think so ... I think he told Di what he felt she needed at that point in time, and also got across that yes, he does love Khushi now ... but he also knows that Di has not accepted that completely. Hence the next day he didn't say much about his conversation with Di to Khushi ...
So now what is he trying to do? He does know Khushi pretty well by now, he knows she wanted to leave because of Di, does he also realise that she is putting herself below Di in the hierarchy and deems herself dispensable in the family? And so is he trying to show her that no, she is an essential part of his life, an essential part of the family, and is as important as Di? So tackle the first problem first ... ensure the marriage is permanent, Khushi feels secure in her position ... and then they both tackle Di?
And is that the right way to do it? Or is getting proof of Khushi's innocence first more important?
I don't have the answer to that ... I don't even know if that IS what is in Arnav's mind. So we still have to wait and see how the whole track unfolds. Raksha Bandhan should bring a dhamaka of sorts ... there has to be SOME resolution of all these half-truths floating around.

DeleteThis may sound absolutely absurd but I was just wondering whether the blank calls Anj is getting are made by her. Sounds ridiculous I know but there was this film 'Kartik calling Kartik' in which Farhan Akhtar starred. It was an intriguing but complex film in which FA's character keeps getting calls from himself, wherein he gets instructions to act in a certain way which is very different from what he otherwise is. The original guy is timid, hardworking but unsuccessful guy but he suddenly turns into this aggressive go getter, thanks to these calls. It is later learnt that he would have pre-recorded those calls and set an alarm. He is unaware that he is the one who had pre-recorded the calls. His actions are governed by his subconsciousness which tries to make him be what his consicious mind will not let him be. Ultimately it was found that he had multiple personality disorder which makes him create this alter ego which can do everything the original guy cannot. I don't know if I have explained it properly. If they are going this route, then it would explain Anj talking to no one in particular,her mood swings and general erratic behaviour. Gul Khan said that Anj is more damaged than Arnav- damaged could be in terms of mental health rather than moral or ethical behaviour.

I had an 'eerie' feeling watching Anji talking to 'walls and curtains'.
You were reminded of Kartik, I was reminded of Ginny Weasley being possessed by Tom Riddle through the diary.
I am also noticing that the Raadhe Shyam idols which were there quite prominently are slowly disappearing and like Sandy pointed out yesterday, DM has made a small entry into her room. Also the huge funny painting(?Raas leela) seems to have disappeared.
*It gives me the feeling that she has imbibed all those things symbolic of Shyam and now appears normal, but actually she is possessed.*
You call it multiple personality disorder, I call it possession by evil spirit of Shyam.
May be also just the CVs way of symbolising that Shyam has made his re-entry into her heart and will rule her. Kind of how Voldermot got Ginny to follow his orders!

ASR was not speaking a half truth here. He was merely stating the fact that when he married her, at that point in time when he put that mangalsutra and sindoor, there was only hatred and MU. There was love before, an attraction which was always there. But the kind of love that brought on the atoot vishwas - it came later as their relationship progressed.
THIS IS THE TRUTH and this is what he told Anjali.
ASR is not going to make up white lies to comfort Anjali. He doesn't need to. He is very straight forward with Anjali. He may hide things from her, but when he talks to her he wouldn't be giving her half truths. That again is fertile ground for further MUs. Plus it is not in his character to make up lies and half truths.
I feel he was just speaking his heart out there.
It was a heart to heart bro- sis conversation with no hidden agendas on either side.
Am I too naive in thinking that Chhote will not manipulate Anjali and Anjali will not manipulate Chhote?
If we are talking semantics here, Su, perhaps love is not the word and agreed that he did not know love at that point.

su, i agree that chote was telling di his version of the truth.
Deletebefore marriage, he had his saansen ruk jayegi moment.. the actual ambulance scene.. which revealed to him that she was indeed important to him. then came the revelation that the girl he liked, loved someone else.. but he was not willing to let her go, hence he married her.(and all other reasons are secondary for me, but for him, his primary reason was to keep di's husband intact KWIM? ).. it took him three months of married life to see bits of truth in her character.. and finally it took him her suicide attempt to actually tell her the contents of his festering heart. he could not believe her answer, he did not trust her yet.. but her reactions prior to his kidnapping gave him enough and more food for thought...
during the solitary confinement that he realized her truth, and confessed his feelings to her.."I love you"..knowing that he would be welcomed into her heart... that she was true to him .. he finally realized that.. and later, after they escaped two times, there was no need for any proof for her devotion to him, he saw himself that her actions spoke of her trust in him, her care for him, her devotion to him.. and that is what made him declare at RM that "I trust khushi". which is an amazing declaration from arnav singh raizada/mallik.
and hence, arnav was perfectly truthful when he said that he did not love her when he married her. and yes, arnav's neeyat is truthfulness.
Su i agree with you that chotey was speaking his heart out to Anji. When he married khushi, they were those fateful moments of hate and MU. I also agree that ot's not in ASRs character to manipulate Anji or anyone else for that mayter. ASR is straight forward and does not manipulate.
DeleteI don't seem to agree on Anji though. She has always been manipulative and weak. She has always manipulated not just chotey but others including khushi as well. Although her intentions have always been good and never malicious manipulated she has!!!
What with leaving house until he doesn't bring lhushi back, blackmailing and manipulating him to go to mandir, havans and poojas and stuff etc.
Opti, i can relate to Anji talking to herself. I am not I could relate to her calling herself. Shyam could still be calling her you see. IMO CVs are treading carefully whether they want to keep her white or turn her grey. I doubt they will make her black. If they decide to keep her white then they might show Anji talking to herself, shyam calling her to talk/apologise re signing divorce papers etc. but at the same time they might show to fully trust chotey's judgement. I have a feeling that although Anji is very pativrata and all she will not and does not trust anyone more than her chotey coz they have been together through thick and thin. Her doubts are whether khushi is telling the truth or Shyam is but irrespective I think she will support chotey's decision.
More and more i feel they will show her white. It will take Arnav to balance between Di and Khushi and reassure Di of her insecurities. I think khushi support Arnav with bringing Di back from the depths of depression.... Afterall it's all about ATOOT VISHWAAS... Arnav ka khushi per and Di ka Chotey per...
