11/7 - Epi 294 ... Di Highly Unstable

Wednesday 11th July

Episode today ...
Hmm ...
Hmmm ...

There was a miniscule Arshi scene at the start :) ... best part of the episode ...

Then Anjali looking at all her happy married life pics ... and missing her KP? :(
Than Khushi comes in and gives her a lecture about her 'nanhi Khushi' ... my kids interrupted to talk about ice cream at this point, so I missed the lecture ... *head desk* Khushi, you've been told to stay away from her, for once in your life, listen to your elders!!!

Then Anjali goes missing ...after clutching her non-existent tummy and crying some more ...

And the entire household goes topsy-turvy trying to look for her ... after all, the woman is completely unstable ... seriously, Nani and Mami, you know what state she's in, why don't one of you keep an eye on her at all times? And Mami gets in a few snide ones at Khushi again ...
Arnav drives around in a frenzy after the auto driver tells him where Di went ... and reaches the nursing home ...

Di has a talk with the doctor - the only person whom I didn't feel like strangling today (very rare for a telly medico :)) )... who tells her she can't have an abortion, it's not on the menu today, please call your husband because you're obviously in no fit mental state to make any decisions. What I would have also done would be to get Anjali into a strait jacket ... okay, sorry, make that a hospital gown ... bung her into the waiting room of an OT under the watchful eyes of a nurse, and get in touch with her family ... and advise stress counselling pronto. She's on the verge of a complete breakdown - does she even know what she's doing any more?!

What prompted Anjali into taking this step? By the end, she sounded on the verge of hysteria ... more and more, the possibility of a nervous breakdown looms large ... she has lost all sense of reason ... On one hand she mourns over the loss of her husband, and the demise of her marriage ... on the other hand, she wants to rid herself of the child which is the product of that marriage ...

One Di-centric episode is enough ... can we go back to Arshi now please? DB cannot hold an episode together ...

A quick edit as the promo is far more exciting to worry about than the shattering of Di's fantasy world. :))

The first scene ... a brief continuation from yesterday ... Arnav putting the moves on a suddenly shy Khushi ... earlier she would back away, confused by her own feelings, now she backs away because she knows what they're all about ... :"> :x
"wow ... Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada ko sharmana bhi aata hai ..."  :"> :"> :">
And Bitwa is suffering from a memory lapse ... or maybe he's not, and making it clear to Bitiya what he wants ... stop backing away, and start walking together with me ... we have our whole lives together, and I want you by my side.

There is also an MIG interpretation of those words ... which I'm sure everyone has understood very clearly :)) ... exshplainwa ki kauno jarurat naahin ... we are all MIG experts =))

And Biwa is slowly taking more steps on his RTR ... trying to bring a smile to Khushi's face ... they are truly there for each other now ... good thing too, as the rest of the family seems to have forgotten their ordeal and is only worried about Di ... Arnav knows she was as much a victim of Shyam as Di was, even more in a way ...

Anjali-Khushi ... There is a saying ... fools rush in where angels fear to tread ... sometimes Khushi exemplifies it ... there is also a time and place for everything, and the right person ...
Anjali needed to hear the words that Khushi spoke ... at some point ... maybe not right away, and definitely not by Khushi, the person she wants to blame the most ... she also needs some time to get over the huge tempest that has wrought havoc in her life ... she also needs to stop mooning over Shyam and thinking of him as the victim, and Arnav and Khushi as the perpetrators ...
Nani and Mami need to take the lead in this, and Arnav and Khushi both can't ... but Nani is worried for hr granddaughter and the baby, and wants to shield Anjali for a little longer, while Mami quite unfairly blames Khushi for the mess ... I have far less sympathy with Mami for her attitude, Nani is at least trying to do the best she can for Anjali and Khushi both ... but then don't know if Mami has heard the entire story yet ...

Khushi blames herself as usual ... but Khushi is more upset about Arnav's upset at the moment, and that's the reason she chooses to talk to Di ... and tries to make her do what Khushi herself is so good at doing ... picking herself up, counting her blessings and looking forward ... think of the baby ... and a new life ahead ...
Problem is Anjali doesn't want a new life ... she wants her old one, with a loving doting husband by her side ...
I actually found it funny to see Anjali clutching her nonexistent tummy and crying over her baby ... she needs a baby bump to make this look realistic!!! :-S Couldn't really sympathise with her much ...

Like the little touches of Arhi in the episode ... the worry and concern for Khushi when she comes to talk to Arnav ... 'kya hua? tum theek ho?' ... the reassuring touch on her shoulder, and the hurt for her when Nani stops Khushi from going with him to hunt for Anjali ... the last time Anjali went missing, Nani was the one to tell Arnav to take her along ...

The rest was mainly Di goes missing, and the family goes frantic ...
While Di loses what little mental balance she had ... and asks for an abortion, and the first sensible doctor I've seen in a while on Indian telly, refuses ... she can see Anjali is distraught, disturbed, and definitely not in the right frame of mind to be making such decisions ... so doctor tries to reason with Anjali ... she needs to talk to husband, family, this abortion is illegal, talk to me, tell me what's the problem ...

It seems Anjali did leave a trail to be traced ... HP saw her leave in an auto, the auto driver tells Arnav where she went ... did she not pay him on purpose? Going to a doctor who knows her and her family, and will definitely tell her family about her mental state ... Is this Anjali's way of getting attention? Or is it to punish Arnav ... all she can remember is Arnav slapping Shyam, and telling her he was worried about the baby ...

While Khushi confesses she went against Nani's orders, and did speak to Anjali ... so obviously everyone blames her for disturbing Anjali's mental balance ... Nani, Mami and Payal all left her strictly alone ... not the wisest thing to do under the circumstances, but that's what they thought she needed ... and Mami got my goat by blaming Khushi and Payal for all the family's troubles ... hello, what about that scumbag son-in-law of yours? What Anjali really needs is a psychiatrist! And I'm serious ... the woman is cracking up ... her world is falling to pieces around her shoulders, and she cannot cope. The downside of keeping her encased in cotton wool for most of her adult life ...

    "yehi toh mein chahta tah ke tum muskurao" really cvs DANDAAAAAA .... There are lost of other serious issues related to his wife in which you can spare us few thought of ASR.

    I am waiting for friday .... Its definitely going to be biwi manaofying by ASR ... Till now biwi was very much manaoed ... This will be interesting !!!

    Anjali had FB of A saying "aap aur aapke bachche ke liye soch na pada" .... Hmmmm

      Cvs really need to stop this .... Mami had a fair point why not ask your sister .... Today I felt like shaking her .... Listen to your hubbie "tum sab kuch akele nahi kar sakti"

      This is something not palatable .... Disobeying elders .... No matter how good your intentions are .... It almost looks like I will have my way.

      hmmm something similar I thought .. this is more deep and I love it ...

      For me it was more of an anger and more of Di ..
      But yes this is far far better .. and ASR if I know he will do it ... he will take this as an opportunity to get her out of blame game .. will Teej be her return or her walking out ? I will prefer she already would have gone out of RM by monday .. when is teej exactly ???

      when khushi spoke to anjali she got reminded she has a baby(way to go smartypants!u need someone to remind u that!)and then when she recollects that arnav said he did it her for her and her child..she probably thinks that the child is the reason Shyam got thrown out..and the dumbass that she is(still madly in love)she decides to end the life of the child whom she thinks caused her husband to be away from her not coz she doesnt wanna carry a creep's child.kudos girl!u have some brains!
      arnav will get all angry at khushi(pretty justified,i am all irritated wid khushi too)and i hope and pray she walks out of RM and that when di comes back to her senses arnav realizes his mistake and woos khushi.as of now,i really want arnav to be angry with her
      pretty disappointing episode after 2 awesome ones!

      Guys if the 6 month contracT marriage is nearly coming to an end then Anji is atleast 7 months preggers coz it takes at least one month before you can find out about pregnancy... Whatz with her tummy? Best of the models don't have a super flat tummy as hers at 7 months.... CVs whats going on?

      It was the lead ... preggers over 1 year ... reel time .... and at the end had a miscarriage *head wall*

    One conversation perhaps two meanings....

    "Is nanhi si bacchi ka kya kasur"

    One who says it means why should u starve yourself as the baby in your womb is not responsible for this sordid situation

    One who hears thinks Yes, its not this nanhi si bachhi's fault in being in this situation...let me put an end to her misery...

    Well, i am not saying that this was the interpretation in the scene...just wondering how words can act as double-edged swords. How important is for the person receiving communication to understand it significance!!To be receptive and in the frame of mind to receive any communication...

      I think this has not been played out fully.....what is the reason for taking that decision unless she chooses to act out so that she gets Khushi in trouble somehow....
      If she accepted that Shyamu is creep, the CVs will not perhaps take the controversial step of abortion....something is not adding up here....

      Also, someone correct me..isnt it too late for Anjali for abortion..I remember she was announced pregnant on Diwali night..and was already 3 months then..(thats why 6 months contract/forced marriage)..

      She should not be in a position to abort at this point..Medical logicwa here..

      Pallavi, In IPK Narnia land, you never know how many month she is pregnant.

      And the doctor (Credit where it is due - the casting was well done as this PH always does) didnt say you are past that stage.

      She simply said you cannot take such a huge decision alone without your hubby so maybe it is possible.

      Abortion - or MTP - medical termination of pregnancy is not done after the first three months, except in very rare cases when the baby is found to have serious congenital malformations which would compromise the quality of life significantly - or limit its life span ... but both parents have to consent for that.

      In India, abortion laws are pretty lax, a woman can claim failure of contraception and get away with it every time ... but again only in first three months. She doesn't need her husband's consent for that, as far as I remember. No doctor will terminate after the first three months - its illegal.

      I personally felt Anjali was on the verge of hysteria and beyond thinking ... the way she said, I'll find another doctor sounded as though she was on the verge of a breakdown.

      In which case, the best thing to do would be to give her a virtual slap on the face - shock treatment, as it were - sit her down sternly, and tell her she's being all kinds of a fool, she's healthy, she has a healthy baby, a loving family to support her ... lots of women bring up their children as single parents, she at least has all the support ... and she owes it to her child.

      I'm pro-choice ... I feel a woman does have the right to decide whether she wants to bring a child into this world or not ... it's her body, and if she feels used and abused by her husband, she might not WANT any reminder of his presence in her life. True - what is the child's fault ... but then, what is the child's fault if it's born, and remains shunned and unwanted by its own mother?

      There was a very beautiful track in SGP with Radha Bua and her son Deepak - she got pregnant from the man her husband sold her to for a night, she couldn't abort the child, but she could never love him or even bear to see his face for the first 18 years of his life. It was very beautifully done ... a child suffers a lot if he is unwanted ... especially by the mother, nothing else really makes up for that lack of maternal love.

      As a pro-choice person, i could completely relate to the SGP track....In fact i was surprised at the maturity with which they dealt with that track....even the gradual change that they showed in Radha's character, i really liked..
      SGP for me will always remain a serial that handled many family issues with sensitivity...

    Really? Just when things looked as if finally Arhi can have some time together.... Here we go khushi caught up in another situation. Really khushi? Did you have to go to Anji's room? Stop intefering in people's life just concentrate on your own, will ya? Even if you the best intension just stop doing it.... Today's epi just reminded me of 'di ki khushi ke liye mai apni khushi kurbaan kar dunga' so ofc for di to keep her baby she wants her family intact. Shyam in khushi out...
    Someone make me feel better about Arhi please.....
    Have the CVs firgotten she is very very young and she has already taken enough why creat more situations for her?

      UJ, don't even remind me of that dialogue...i am living in perpetual dread... I was hoping that marriage thing was his homage to that dialogue....now i am scared.....Khushi, get it straight one thing girl, u were born with never-say-die-resilience but not all are......

      UJ: The problem is she does not seem to learn from her mistakes:(

      If Arnav is angry with her I won't blame him fully. You know the best part in all this, When he is angry with her this time, he will not do so cos he thinks she wanted to cause any deliberate harm as he used to, He will be furious with her this time cos he KNOWS now her intentions are good, they always have been.

      His anger will also stem from that every time she gets into trouble, she will get hurt and so will he. And he is up against his family now......specifically Di, and the state he is in anything he says will be MUed by Anjali worsening the situation.

      After his tirade, he will be practically pleading with her, PLEASE KHUSHI, For once in your life Butt out and do as Nani and I are telling you. I cant see you get hurt like this, I can't see you in pain.

      And the other dialogue i am reminded of is when khushi tells buaji before payal's wedding that she will stay on at GH.....

      Sandy the promo reinded me of the diwali episode. It's the phone that snaps ASR out of the trance and he realises what he was doing..... This time again ASR is making advances but khushi reminds him of the 6 months contracts possibly because she thinks it's in anji-arnav's best interest for khsuhi to leave. but ASR is having none of that this time. Last time he backed off and pushed her towards shyam this time he will he is not backing off in fact he will advance and fix the 6 months contract somehow or the other. Teej coming so may be renewal of vows possibly or will there be a proper full dream wedding? Arhi dreamland........

      Haan na that pillar made me think Diwali too so putting it all together I guess Arnav is going to tell her ki use farak kyun padhtha hai and then walk ahead to complete what he started on Diwali but left undone and wham this time Khushi rejects him. And Khushi's rejection has neevr sat well with ASR!

      Holi is also top of mind that scene where Khushi walks towards family with bhaang glasses and the rest from there to the gazebo and thence to the pool.

      Recall what mamaji said at Holi - Par yahaan to ulti hi pratha chal rahi hai - biwi ke peecche bhaagaa jaa raha hai ;) And even then Khushi is going "Nai, Nai Nai Nai" to Arnav's Meri baat suno.

      ANd who recalls "Khushi humaare beech jo bhi baatein hoti hain woh sabko bataane ki koi jaroorat nahi hai" ;) ANd us time pe who is there tells me pleeej - Nani, ANji, Mami and Mama (yahaan NK). And Khushi began that whole dialogue with Di hum aapko dukh nahi pahunchaana chaahte the. Woh Arnavji ne humse kahaa and Arnav butts in Khushi jhoot ma bolo

      Ya Ya - crazy but this track was after all my first omni on the blog and those scenes are sort of imprinted...

      Aaru, She wont bring it upto Nani, that 6 months thing will be between them. What will happen is he will be mad at her, she will MU him and like a stubborn kid she will say, Ha what marriage, I wont stay, He will go Ya, You will. In all this somehow they might just end up having a real ceremony with just the family ........nearest to her dream wedding. Besides channel has approved the budget for a wedding tentatively, sooooooo we can dream and plan,LOL.

      Aar / Shweths,

      ASR is going to walk back into a RM going completely hyper with Anji missing and when they hear she went to abort her baby, Mami will launch fultoo into the Gupta sisters. Khushi being Khushi is going to start apologizing and trying to clear her stance but the words will fly and Arnav will flinch. Wanting to just end it all, he is going to yell at her that when Nani had told her specifically not to go then why did she? And Khushi will go away with tears in her eyes those precious drops that always always melt Arnav (I am always reminded of the Amitabh Bachchan scene from Sharaabi where he comapres every tear to a diamond)

      Then after making sure Di is settled, he is going to go in search of Khushi (who in most probability will be sitting by the poolside) crying her eyes out. Arnav is going to apolgize and explain that he only did it because he did not want to see her hurt. And she in all possibility will tell him she is leaving whne the 6 months are up and the clock starts ticking on wooing her back. (Koi paagal hi hogaa jo Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada bankar jo aisho aaram mila hai use chodkar jaayega)

      To me even a private ceremoney in front of DM and under the stars where he vows to be hers forever witnessed by the holy fire will do. The divine mother, his mother and her parents, who more needs to witness their wedding? (Teri Meri baaton ka har lamhaa sabse anjaana)
      He undoes those harsh memories of sindoor and mangalsutra with soft tender new moments and then lifts his bride in his arms telling her that now come hell or high water they are bound for all ages to come and she will be his to cherish and treasure forever and ever and ever...

      And / Or if there is to be a ceremony, it will be on Teej. She pretneds to not fast for him and maybe Nani sends off both girls to GH with promises to meet up in the evening at the temple. The family excluding Anjali (she is under medical observation for chronic depression or Nani stays back with her at RM; Nani already blessed Khushi) reaches the temple and Arnav surprises Khushi by actually being there. And then to her further surprise, he has arranged for a priest, pheras and renews his vows and they take pheras before their families and DM.

      Arnav needs to guide Khushi (impulsive, naadaan but good hearted) through the minefield of relationships that RM has become. He is a willing teacher, she an able student.

      I noticed how this time after the storm Khushi is more cconfident though the bomb was more intense and her relationships with each member is strained. But she has the support of the one person who matters and she does not look like th lost soul she did the last time round.

      Abs....When the CVs decided to work on the trust element for the ARHI journey, they made an important decision to let love do the talking from on now....So when we see a confident Khushi amid the muddle, its no longer a surprise, we can understand why Khushi gets her strength or why Arnav can feel how Khushi will react to a situation...complete understanding.....its a long time coming but its finally there

      In Arnav's mind the day he called out with pride Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada she was his forever. That was the day he also put her dupatta back on her almost like he did a mangalsutra.

      And then when he accepted his mistake of misjudging her and later today speaks of how she needs to wlak forward with him, she is his wife in all senses of the word. If circumstances are such where they are along and together he will be attracted to her and either she stops him throwing up the clause or if they have already fought and he is just teasing her to calm down his sherni, he will stop and smirkingly tell her that she will soon become Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada forever

    Anjali exhibited her stubborn pigheadedness today. Is she insane or plain manipulative?

    Arnav tells her that he threw out Shyam because he was protecting her and her baby.

    Khushi asks her to forget Shyam her past and look forward to her future which lies in her baby.

    So what does the woman do? Try to get rid of the baby which, in her unbalanced mind, is the reason her husband was thrown out of the house for.

    Wah, what logic. Why is she still in RM instead of a mental asylum?

    She should follow Shyam to that big house of theirs they were building.

      Opti, she's headed for the mental asylum all right ... she really needs a reality check and for people to stop babying her and give her a virtual slap ... wake up, woman ... yes, your husband was a creep and a slimeball, and married you for your money ... you're better off without such a man, especially one who doesn't hesitate to kidnap and try to kill your own brother, and lusts after your bhabhi ... do you really even WANT to be with a guy like that?!

      Dia - Yes, Anjali needs to accept the fact that her husband whom she adored and worshipped was not only a cheat but also a criminal who is capable of killing. Right now the only FBs she is having is the slap and Arnie throwing him out of RM. What about the other facts she learned as part of the face-off? Why is she not thinking about how Shyam stayed as a PG in Buaji's house and forced an engagement with Khushi? Is none of that bothering her at all? She is definitely better off w/o Shyam . However it is unfortumate that she now has to bring the child to the world all by herself, but it is what it is. She needs to accept the fact and try to move on. She has a strong family supporting her, what else does she need?
      She looked mentally unstable and when all this is over, I won't be surprised if her character turns grey. All her anger will now be focused on Khushi until something big happens and she finds out for herself the ugly side of Shyam .

      Anjali has always been able to emotionally blackmail Arnav and her family because they let her.

      I have seen one case in family and heard a lot about how mothers shun their child (pre or post birth) because they feel the children are vying for attention. Today what was depicted echoed that. Everyone speaking to her is not saying Anjali you need to take care but there is that added thought of you and your baby. You need to be strong for your baby. But when has she been strong? Besides Shyam was the only one who even during her pregnancy would keep fawning on her, talk about her taking care of herself.
      (I found it surprising that the pic they showed a closeup off was one from the Payash wedding; I still harbour hopes of some reveal from then)

      Today ANjali rushing off to the hospital reminded me of the movie Aaina (Juhi, Amrita, Jackie) wherein the elder sister chooses a way of life, is unhappy with it, comes back to witness her younger sister's happiness. Unable to tolerate it she starts to divert attention to herself with these suicide attempts which are non lethal but get the family all agitated. Her strength is the goodness of nature of her younger sister and the sister's husband. (Like in the book Atlas SHrugged never thinkinng that the mighty Atlas always has a choice to shrug the world he holds and what would happen if he is pushed to that brink of choice). Anyways in the story the hero figures out what is happening and eventually leads upto a point wherein he destroys every illusion the elder sister held of herself - he basically shows her a mirror.

      Anjali has been to the doctor many times in the past but today there is an autowaala who actually comes back asking for money. The doctor has refused the abortion but she knows what Anjali wanted and the doctor will plant the thought in the brother's head too. But what she has effectively ensured with this action is that the whole family will wear kid gloves when it comes to her.

      One other reason could be that on that day, when acusations flew thick and fast, her husband did not once stand up to support her wish for hearing no more and walking away. On the other hand was another husband who when his wife called out to him swiftly reached out to be by her side and support her. There was a wife who walked up to her today citing how unhappy her husband is to see his sister in pain. While her castle crumbles, she sees another castle being built.

      Did she fear that now that she again ahs no one but chote she could not afford to hand him over to Khushi who seemed to care for him more than even Anjali?

      I get a feeling she is either going to be shown diagnosed with depression and getting into multiple "accidents" incidents in the house (a la Bubbly) with the Gupta sisters taking the blame. The only one who can see through IMO will be the brother (and to some extent the Nani) who would have faced similar circumstances with her in the past. Arnav will also realize his duty as a husband and the need to shield the other woman in his life from daily taunts and also help her emerge unscathed from this trauma. So TLS to her wil continue and gradually it will be like a red hot iron to Anjali's heart for 2 people who never saw eye to eye seem to be so tuned in whereas she has been left desolate and that is when her mind games I think would begin in earnest.

      But it will be good if there is a conversation b/w Arnav and the doc (or later in FBs) and one fine day Arnav shows his Di the mirror she has refused to look into and see things for what they are.

      I liked ur comparison to the Aaina movie...u have described almost the entire graph that can show how Anji will hopefully finally have to face up reality.

      The way to help people face reality is not to make things rosy around them rather to let them see situations in the light of day and trust in their ability to make new adjustments to their thinking, encouraging them along the way....

      Today, Khushi's action may seem ill-advised given the circumstances but in a way, Anji had to face up to this one way or the other....

      In better light, Anji may perhaps be able to appreciate the way Khushi has faced to the harsher realities of life...That Khushi is the person who her husband has lusted after and she is her brother's wife is a fact that will never change and the sooner she faces up to it(like Arnav has done) and reaches closure will mark her beginning to the REAL WORLD

      Remember the day the RZ family went to GH for Roka, Sham disappear but his phone was in the living room. Anjali was dialing his number repeatedly and that phone was ringing. She even noticed that and she wondered why is this phone ringing? Has she forgot that? It should come back to her like a flash of light when she that the GH PG was Shyam. What a pityful character!!

      Sandy, liked your connection to the movie Aaina ... it would be interesting to see Anjali turn that grey, and Arnav support Khushi all the way, making Anjali turn greyer and greyer ... and Arnav (and maybe Nani too) finally figure out that Anjali is more damaged than they all had previously imagined.

      And then begins the process of stop the kid glove treatment and try to get her to face reality ...

      In the middle, Shyam will also play his mind games and worsen the situation and it will be when he finally tells Anjali to harm the baby, or does something deliberately to do so, then only will Anjali realise his true colors ... and start connecting the dots slowly ... not till then.

    Just watched the episode.
    3 to 4 minutes of Arhi cute..... indication of times to come in the near future. Flustered, shy confused khushi and confident arnav making advances at every opportunity.
    The rest of the epi dedicated to the apple of the family's eye Di. Hope this epi was one of it's kind. Can't take too many di centred episodes. they will drive me up the wall.
    The reason for abortion still unclear. Does she believe Arnav or does she trust Shyam? Is the abortion a way of blackmailing arnav/shyam, she really is very upset depressed and headed towards breakdown and hence the step or is she plain manipulative? Is she out to make it even more dificult for khushi in RM?whatever it is hopefully we will get some idea tomorrow.
    Khushi WT WT WT? what is it with this girl? Why is she behaving like this? I mean nani told her in hindi right that she should stay away from Anji then why the he** she went to her room with food and lectured her on top. Why talk about forgetting shyam? this coming from khushi's mouth to Anji sounds dodgy.
    Ofc when you really look at the conversation it's not really about anji for khushi. It is only about arnavji. Di did not have breakfast so Arnavji did not eat breakfast ab agar di lunch nahi khayegi toe arnavji bhi nahi khayenge........ plus di agar aise upset rahegi toe arnavji bhi upset rahenge. Khushi there are better ways of getting arnavji to eat or smile. Did he not say sometime ago 'in fact tumhe mere saath aage badna sikhana hoga.'
    Hopefully arnav will drill it in to her ki she should listen to others sometimes and she can't always do everything herself. Will payal ask her why he went to Di's room when naniji had said NO. Will khushi tell her how arnav is so upset and will he hear that conversation? or will arnav just understand why she went to di's room.
    Mami ofc had a few remarks to make - mauka dekh ke chauka marne ki toe purani adadt hai mami ki. and now toe aur bhi taunts padenge gupta sisters ko. Akash in no mood of defending wifey or sister-in-law from the taunts. So it's only arnav who will defend them.

    Just realised that the docotr shown in anji abortion promo is different to the one shown in the epi today. Does it mean that she will go to another doctor tomorrow and we will get another episode based on Di abortion and di ko dhundo......

    Where's NK? has he disappeared again like post marriage :(
    Hope he sticks around and at least to tell everything to mami and update arnav of every detail of what K has gone through.

      Anjali is maha depressed for now. Her world is in tatters and all her dreams of a loving husband in shambles. Khushi was the first to trigger the thought of forgetting the past and moving on but Anjali is never been one to move on. She has always lived in the past and I guess something in her snapped when she heard those words. I am guessing they will show she is depressed and Arnav will accept that but Mami and Nani are going to link it upto Khushi's presence. See it is a common misconception in households where people always try to cover up depression as reaction. Best is Arnav starts her going to a psychiatrist but she being in the mood she is she will refuse.

      Did you note how teh doc stressed on the husband's opinion being needed - potential reentry point for Shyam.
      He will object only because it will put Anjali's life in danger and if something happens to her his last hope to teh wealth is dead. But she will be made to believe by him that he cares for her and the baby.

      Khushi was just being Khushi. Yes she knows she was asked to restrain but she is a person who cannot see anyone in pain especially Arnavji and Di. So she jumped in. She still needs to learn the lesson that sometimes you have no choice but to stand on the sidelines and watch mutely.

      Ditto your thoughts on NK. I was like why do they keep doing this disappearance with him every time the high point is done. But he will be around for a bit for certain portions I think.

    Khushi is very sensitive as a person. she even got rid of the wind chime, stars and salman's poster from arnav's room because she thought seeing her things will hurt him then will she go in front of anji when she has been warned not to. but this is all about her husband, about the man she loves the most, about his pain and suffering and she will do whatever to make it better for him hence the take lunch for di and lecture her.

    The first couple of minutes was,really cute. A smile on her face and a bit of flirting just what we all want to see. I know Anji has had the rug pulled away from her feet and the rose coloured glasses smashes, but pandering to the wims of an unbalanced women is looking for trouble. She needs a virtual shake and brought into the real world for the sake of the baby that she is carrying. I really hope they don't drag this track out. To be honest just this one episode has been enough for me. There is only so much sympathy that can be expressed. She has a loving family who adore her, and who will support her. She needs to be reminded of that and not left to dwell on her snake of a husband.

    Anjali can be downright ruthless if she wants to. Was she not the one who used the clause in Arnav's contract with Khushi to get her back in RM and train Lavs to be dutiful Indian bahu? That too knowing fully well how unreasonable that clause was. Arnav himself did not use it to put Khushi in place because he knew he had wronged her but Anjali, despite knowing everything, still arm twisted Khushi into accepting her job offer. Later when Arnav threw Khushi out saying that it was his house and he gets to decide who stays and who leaves, she went missing, giving harrowing time to her family till Khushi remembered where she could be. She is like a willful child who, if pushed, could use any means to get what she wants and she does manage to get it too. After the initial indignation at Arshi clandestine wedding, it is her decision to accept them into the house that everyone was forced to adhere to. Now we may see the reverse of this play out. Without openly saying that she does not want Khushi in the house, she has acted in a manner which will make it difficult for Khushi to remain at RM. This will be the first real test for the strength of Arnav's love for Khushi.

      Agree with both of you, Lin and Opti ... I think they are trying to show Anjali as being unbalanced now ... or deeply depressed at the least, and definitely not in any rational frame of mind. Her decision to get an abortion should act as a red flag for her family that she is not handling the entire KKP disclosure well at all ... KKP = Kameena Kidnapper Pati :)

      So add her irrational mental state to the fact that yes, she is very much a master of emotional manipulation ... and she is a dangerous woman at the moment. Whether she does it intentionally or unintentionally remains to be seen, but that's what she will land up doing ... We still haven't been given an insight into her mind as to what is troubling her the most, but in her mind she appears to blame Arnav more than Khushi at the moment, her flashbacks are more about Arnav slapping Shyam and throwing him out ... but that could change. And she knows how to manipulate him easily, she has always done it ... by threatening to leave him ...

      Now will she start blaming Khushi openly? Or will the family blame Khushi, because obviously they can't blame Arnav ...

      And will Arnav realise what his sister is doing, and stand by Khushi, no matter what? Again the problem in that - even if Anjali doesn't accuse him of it, the family will accuse him of siding with Khushi at the expense of their darling Anjali ... either way, Khushi gets pushed around, and with her, Arnav.

      At the moment, I'm giving Anjali the benefit of doubt re: Khushi - all her fb's have been about Arnav vs Shyam ... she is avoiding Khushi, but that is understandable ... Khushi reminds her of Shyam's infidelity every time she sees her, painful for any woman to take. But I wouldn't be surprised if Anjali soon reached a stage of saying openly that she can't bear to see Khushi's face, and so she wants to leave RM ... the natural reaction of all the RMvaasis would be that Khushi has to leave. And that's when Arnav would have to really walk a tightrope and work to get Khushi to stay ... because Khushi will leave in a heartbeat. So lots of miles to walk yet for Arnav's RTR ... :)))

    Had missed the Arhi scene at the start .. so watched it today .. and one line that just made me think that Arnav has infact walked more miles then we know ---in true ASR style.. today his monologue of he wanting to see her smile just reminds me of what K telling garima about her husband "humare chehre pe muskurahat lane ki ji thod koshish karthe hai, jab tak hum has na de .. he proved it to be true for her today ...
    On that night of preeto’s wedding after he saw shyam’s wrapping paper , he told her that he doesn’t want her near him, and does not want to see her face ... today he wants her to walk along with him by his side,
    Sandy I want Anji to emerge strong women and K as the part of it .. yesterday I was saying that I would love to see K blasting Anji and showing her the mirror to reality .. and today there was the first step although it backed fired khushi.. although it was all about Arnavji, - it did get a reaction from Anji for worst as of now but again it will make Anji speak why she took the step to abort , and let her out of her maun vart ..
    Although in all this Khushi is going to be hurt the most --- as she thinks she was the trigger and will fight to leave RM which ASR will be against .. 6 month clause as her bait for it ... or its ASR getting angry and then trying to mano her by romancing her which she doesn’t agree to with the 6 month clause between them exactly as the she did in hut ...
    I am not hoping for a re-marriage or Big C ... according to me it’s going to be ASR giving her what she said to her mother that apne se phelye woh humare bare mai sochte hai ...
    he will give that to her he will abid by her wish ...

      re-marriage pata nahi - it will be a renewal of vows from him to her. A first time face to face confession that he is his and he will be there for here always. She is his wife not for today, not for 6 months but for humeshaa... Basically Khushi's yelling session about marriage and its importance is going to come back full circle. Were they not fighting that day too ?

      And will Khushi's stars finally come back into the screen as do her paayal and earrings?

    Serious Rant alert!!

    I am neither intelligent nor can ‘create’ stories – but I am a critic :D
    I need to see some logic, ok call it correlation – whether its negative, positive, based on Arhi logic, basic on real logic… anything – but there has to be a 'this leads to this' and the problem with our CV team is they bring things up real well but just can’t sustain the climax – they just can’t concentrate on all characters – even though this is a daily show and time is NOT a constraint! - the episode seemed like a window into things to come and that has me totally confused - Reasons for saying so:

    Loved every episode of how it all got revealed – even the three day long dialogue between ODG & TF and ODB stepping in just for the verdict, loved everyone’s reactions – very much in character - loved that no matter how important the ‘whole family’ is, your first and initial reaction is always for the one you love the most – hence Akash reacting to Payal – Nani and Mami reacting to Anji and ODG reacting for the sake of her DB!

    BUT
    Akash – yes I want you to feel angry – but your brother just went through hell – both physically as well as emotionally – he threw out the one guy ever he respected! The one guy he looked up to (till a while ago), the one guy who was the Sun of his Di’s solar system!! – ASK he – how is he dealing with it or even why –something to show you are human and can react – I mean you guys came back from office together – he brokenly said his di would not go with him – at least then – SAY something!!!

    ODB – all this has happened only one evening ago and you are already talking to the lawyer for a will change – seriously you have other things to worry about!

    ODG – for once you were completely at fault – learn to stop moralizing – you really should not have gone to Anji (though I was upset with nani for saying so – it kind of meant ‘u caused this, stay out!’ but she said it well and then ODG I thought took it well) – now she goes and does the opposite – setting the stage for the future track?

    Anji – I could so understand her stance, till recently-
    She received news (news – whether it’s the truth or not is too early to even go down that lane!) – she can’t think – her dearest brother a just threw out her Husband! – his wife just laid the worst sort of allegations on her husband – the man who loved her like no one else, like only she knew, the man who was with her trying to handle and ‘keep the family together’ (remember ASR only listening to TF!) -
    And He is out, Out, OUT of her life???? How can that be happening – no, no of course not, this is not true.. she needs to think – to take it all in but she can’t – her brain feels swollen and numb – she needs to be alone –Angry with her brother/SIL – don’t know – cant think – all she knows –
    SIL=Husband out – needs time to assimilate -
    She will come to the right conclusion in time but right now – it’s too early – the news has just been broken and it will not be a eureka moment where she can piece all together and say “oh, ok I was wrong, my husband is a creep!” - it will be a slow painful process, the realization will ‘drip’ in, bit by bit, every drop seeping into her soul, setting her on fire, from her feet to the tip of her hair! – He liked someone else…He loved her…He got engaged to her…He cheated…
    BUT – the one thing that she will not/cannot forget is her baby – so why did she react as if ODG was mentioning something new to her – Her wanting to keep the baby is her choice but she can’t forget that the baby is there!

      Arhi – Ok CV what are you trying to do? Giving in to fangiri? – till yesterday ODC’s relationship really developed – loved the way they held on to each other – ODG asking if she could, should and telling him that she was willing to - and him acknowledging it – (talking of the scene on the stairs) – hence even found the accidental bump leading to a naughty smile very sweet – and he is behaving like a normal husband, patting her shoulder at every point types -

      BUT now?- All of a sudden he has forgotten his surroundings (ok that is fine) and is coming on to her in no uncertain terms - and she is all smiling and willing – and then the promo? – why? – talking about the contract again? – are they trying to play out all the stupid FF stories floating out there – and ODB, your charm was your ability to (despite your curtness) think of your family - nanai, mami, sister, brother – you were like ODB in that respect - Please don’t lose it!

      @aaru..I think after yesterday, khushi will want to stay as far as away from anjali and the family.. because ultimately, whatever she does, she ends up hurting either arnav or anjali.. and probably she wouldn't want that anymore..hence the thoughts of the contract.. because to think abt it, even though payal is on the recieving side of her blames by mami, atleast she is an honourable part of the raizada family.. for khushi, that is not the case too..she eloped with arnav, not out of will, and that too, only for 6 months.. true, they fell in love etc etc.. but if she wants to 'jatao' her 'haq' over the family..she will not be able to do that, since she will think that she is only a part of the raizada family for 6 months.. and I think the anger in the promo is more towards herself.. now she will want to back off and go back to GH after the end of the contract.. while arnav wants her to be an irreplaceable part of his..

      the more I watch the promo, the more it occurs to me..this is his way of proposing her officially.. something which began with the bindi-on-the-mirror scene (one of my absolute favs!! what a unique way of expressing ur feelings!) .. he will now make sure that all her dreams and wishes wrt marriage are fulfilled..

      I read in an article somewhere that arnav will try to balance b/w his sister and khushi.. and I think that if there's someone who can pull off the balancing act, its arnav..for all his indifference towards the world, he knows exactly how to pull the strings of those he cares about - khushi and anjali.

      Sooooooo looking forward to the track!! :))

      Mona I absolutely agree about Akash...they butcher his character on a daily basis...

      NO ONE asked about Arnav at all it really was absurd. But somewhere The CV's brought this upon themselves. When they didn't have much of a story they emphasized on every little stupid reaction but when they actually had a story they threw it all together and obviously somewhere the story got lost.

      There was no way as you guys pointed out for Khushi to not tell everyone the truth as soon as she got home. What I had hoped was that Khushi would have stayed unconscious or been awake but groggy and not quite there(so we could avoid hospital set and location additional cost) and Arnav would have brought her home like that and called the doctor who would have merrily pronounced that its a concussion she'll be okay yada yada yada...

      Then as ASR doesn't know yet about Shyaam everyone could have fussed about Arnav while he's going nuts worrying about Khushi and we'd have gotten some more insight into his kidnapping- still want to know why he walked off so calmly? - meanwhile NK wondering whether to tell everyone or wait for Khushiji to wake up.

      Then with perfect daily soap timing Khushi would have woken up and then they could have had new drama start once they'd fully wrapped up the kidnapping- because for me that track was stretched out and then left unfinished by diving into the next track.

      As for Arhi...I liked the promo because it addresses something I've really had an issue with. Somehow for me I didn't understand how Arnav went from not believing her to believing her. It not like he didn't love her before he just thought she was a liar so before she tried to rescue him and save him etc what changed? did he introspect and realize or what? and after they came back as sweet as the scenes have been I somewhere couldn't if they'd both forgotten about the reality of their marriage. So i'm glad they're addressing it. And I always wanted wooing back and RTR (shameless phangirl in that respect;-))

      As for the will....sorry but totally disagree it was the most important thing to sort out. With all this kidnapping, cliffs, fainting, guns business Arnav really needs to be responsible and secure the family and business' future 'in case' and that was IMO a very realistic thing that any head of family would think of. In fact I felt they could have made a cute little side thing about ASR adding KKG in his will - (ok maybe no one else would have found that romantic-just saying- nothing like legally acknowledging someone...lol;-))

    WHEN WHEN WHEN WILL THE WEEKEND COME!!! Usually I never want the weekend in terms of IPK and nowadays weekends have lost all meaning for me but after a very long time i CANNOT WAIT for the weekend ...

    I want a nice Arhi filled ME- finish all your Cryanji drama over thursday and friday and don't trouble us with inane glycerin on saturday- we want at least 2 good RV's a little flirting oh and also some bro bonding...estrogen overdose last three days...literally;-)

      Huggs bey. When you said about RTR, I remembered that day when you were feeling sorry for Khushi and I had replied about how Arnav said she has anyways made life hell for him in that room. Same scene, 2 diff views :)

      BTW - Aaina - really? but not to me - the girl in the movie was always shown as selfish and conceited = only thinking about her 'wants' - not even needs! - and she tries to manipulate not only her sister but also the supposed love of her life for selfish purposes - so to me she was not grey - actually black!
      Here Anji is not in the same boat - she was never uncaring for her brother - in fact whenever she has been manipulative it has been with the best intentions - best intentions towards her brother and family - in the movie it was just the opposite
      And in the movie - the girl comes back after her own sojourn to fulfill her dreams and failing at that - Anji on the other hand has just suffered a shock - only an evening ago!

      Mona, the comparison was more from the point of when Amrita Singh used unfair means to get Jackie's attention and the methods JS employed to tackle the situation (basically as they say in Hindi, Aaina dikhana)which were effective to drive home the point.

      The title track has a beautiful verse which is sung by Juhi as a rejoinder to AS, it says

    Random Thoughts:

    In the promo Arnav says I will make you Mrs. ASR. Apart from Mrs ASR walkign away from the riches, reminded me of that day during the sangeet when he had told her that she can never be ASR because she does not have "dimaag" - 2 pronged story points

    Has Anjali suffered a miscarriage in the past? And is she going to be shown getting pregnant by surrogacy? Sorry suddenly thought of the movie Filhaal wherein halfway thru Tabu decides she does not want the baby anymore because the experience she had wanted from having the baby was not turning out the way she had hoped! (Am still wondering about Anjali's washboard abs and the fact that no one else told her to eat for the saek of the child except Khushi - Khushi is traditional and inexperienced in these matters. SO is this going to be another eye-opener to her?

      Did anyone catch the flash of anger in ASR's eyes when he realized Khushi was moving away from him. Momentary but there nonetheless.

      ASR never likes to repeat and besides he alwasy says when I am talkign to you, look at me and dont walk away from me. His tolerance will have limits.

      Sandy there has never been a mention of miscarriage isn't it? Or did I miss something somewhere. I presume when she announced her pregnancy someone would have mentioned something not necessarily to her but within themselves.
      If she is pregnant by surrogacy why did she go to the nursing home alone? Where is the surrogate mother? Having said that surrogacy can explain her inexplanable flat tummy at almost 7 months....

      LOL she is not pregnant by surrogacy.. the actress just refuses to wear a tummy. this situation happened in Geet.. she was pregnant for more than a year and had no tummy at all.. then she suffered a miscarriage :D

      (this is hearsay from R&R, i did not actually watch that serial)

      and mads,after reading ur post,for the first time i saw the bindi scene.so cute!but i can never get myself to watch the terrace scene..its too much for me to take..i stop it midway and switch to the happier moments :P

    seeing anjali turn grey is something we are all hoping for.. but will the CVs get daljeet to agree? anjali so far has been loving caring gullible.. we see bits of steel like the emotional blackmail and moments of seriousness, then they get lost in the hyperworks. somehow i feel that the CVs intended anjali to be grey, but daljeet makes her more fragile..

    gargi, we all know ki devi maiyya tumhari sunti hain.. dont ask for 2 RVs.. remember GH days when they would somehow fit in two RVs everyday and they would both be geela? i want fireworks, not just rabba ves!

    and now SBS.. i hear khushi is 25 on the contract paper! haila!

      where were u yesterday? Didn't see any of ur posts

      Arnav's dialogue was not for his silence, becos they did not show him saying he knew it for whatever months...he is just saying that i had to act becos i can't let u and the baby go thru this after knowing abt Shyam....unless they edited that part of convo.

      Anji's character is that grey which people in fragile emo condition can go thru, she will be shown slowly accepting the truth....CVs have brought that shade in her right after A_K marriage (with that rasam-sambhar u remember)
      I doubt if they will make her go all grey...It will be more a case of Anji not wanting to see whats in front of her

      BTW,
      What contract paper.....for marriage??....Though its void but i don't remember even remember any scene/blooper like that....in IPK ever...
