Awww ... the poor Raizada family ... totally shell shocked to see Arnav in love. I would have thought they would be happy that at least one marriage in the family is stable ... no??! Guess they are all too shocked to see this new, hitherto completely hidden romantic side of the man emerge. And probably wondering at their place in the new hierarchy ... I would think they should be a little more careful ... isn't Arnav still the principal bread winner of the family?
As for Di ... dear sweet Di, grow up ... yes of course the man changed after marriage ... All men do. Their wives do become the most important person in their lives - that is a law of nature. Just because the guy preferred to romance his wife rather than attend a satsang, doesn't make him a criminal now, does it? After all, your erstwhile hubby dear attended all the satsangs and prayer meetings and havans that you ordered him to ... and look where that got him ... and you.

Liked Payal today ... she should have stuck to her guns and not started crying at the end ... she made perfect sense all through.
Hope on Monday they show more of Arnav and Khushi being there for each other, and trying to decide how to manage things ... today was far too much of Di.
And I really hope Arnav loses patience some time soon, and tells his family to snap out of it ... he and Khushi have been through hell the last four months trying to manage Shyam, while the rest were blissfully oblivious, if they want some time to themselves now, they're entitled to it!

The first seven minutes were the best, of course ... no two ways about that :) Petrified Khushi, scared of the dark, of being alone, of a faceless shadow in an empty house ... gets locked out, manages to break her way back in ... and comes down the stairs clutching a flower pot as a weapon :) and muttering to Devi Maiyya for help ... who obliges in her normal way ... by sending Arnav to the rescue. ;) :">
And Khushi drops the pot and flies into his arms ... challenge lost fair and square :) Lost or won? Does it matter? And for the first time, his arms go around her instantly, even faster than hers, as though he was waiting for her ... and they're finally home, where they belong ... locked together ... in each others arms ... :">

And satyanash ... the Raizada zoo is back!!! X( Apparently there was a traffic jam, and Anjali was acting like a dying duck, so they realise she was not in great shape to sit for so long after all ... arey, pehle soch lete ... we could have sent Khushi with Arnav to Agra.
Though can't quite blame the zoo for their shock ... here they thought Arnav was attending serious meetings in Agra to keep the home fires burning ... and here he is back home, romancing his wife in the main living room ... complete with a carpet of rose petals ...
Seriously, Arnav ... bedrooms exist for a reason ... hang on, yours anyway is like Mumbai Central ... make that, bedrooms and locks were invented for a reason!!! :))
Khushi is completely embarrassed and mortified ... and tries to kick the rose carpet out of sight ... a completely futile attempt ...
Loved the way Arnav tells her ... 'Relax!' He's not about to apologise for romancing his wife ... even in public ... they did think they had the house to themselves after all ...
Anjali is shocked ... 'You said you were going for a meeting in Agra ...'
Arnav tries to explain ... yes he was, the meeting got cancelled ... But Mami's poisonous barbs are quick to start firing ... 'is this your closed door meeting? So you've started lying to us now ...'
And Khushi has him wrapped around her little finger ... of course it's all her fault ...
Arnav starts to see the burden Khushi lives with every day ... Nani, who has an inkling of the truth and what Khushi might have gone through, shuts Mami up ... and the zoo leaves, leaving a shocked Anjali gazing at the red carpet ... so he lied to her about his meeting?
No, he didn't ... it got cancelled so ...
But Anjali is not ready to listen ... much to Arnav's shock ... his Di doesn't believe him?
And as Arnav stands in the middle, Anjali leaves in one direction, a mortified upset Khushi leaves in the other ... Arnav has a tough balancing act ahead ...
He chooses Di first ... but all she can think of is his call, he cancelled his meeting, but she so nobly and graciously sent him to attend it ... and he went ... of course he went, this was all pretense, he actually wanted to stay back all along with Khushi ...
So if he had said he wanted to stay back with his wife, she would not have minded? Or is she just upset that he cancelled work for her, but didn't cancel his wife for her ...
Shifting sands in relationships ...
Arnav tries to explain ... he tried to call Akash, but couldn't reach him, didn't know where they were, so he came back home ...
Bitwa, I believe you, of course I do ... you came back home and set up a carpet of red roses for your wife ... ;)
I do understand why Anjali thinks he's not telling the truth ... what she needs to ask herself is, why should he bother to lie? Does he have to defend his decision to be with his wife? To her? And why?
But Anjali is angry and upset ... she is no longer Queen Bee in her brother's life, no longer in control of his decisions or him ... and not in control of her own life either ...
And so Anjali starts losing her facade, and accuses Arnav of lying to her face about his meeting ...so that he could spend time with his wife ... He should have told her the truth ...
Arna gives up for the moment ... does the accusation hold the slightest ring of truth? Yes, he did want to spend time with Khushi ... which man in his right mind would prefer a religious evening with family, to a quiet night alone romancing his very new bride ... especially when he's just won her back after so much struggle? But he didn't lie to do that ... Di has the wrong idea completely, and is not ready to listen ...
So have your medicine, calm down ... and shut up ...
I don't want my medicine ...
Ok, now she wounds like a petulant two year old throwing a fit ... is she really an expectant mother? No responsibility to her unborn child?
Although I don't know what medicine is so urgent that Di needs it immediately ... her vitamin pills?!
Akash tries, Payal tries to help, but Akash is another tantrum throwing child, he's angry with his wife and still not talking to her ...
Anjali sends him and Mami off as well ... she's angry because her favorite toy ... pet .. brother ... is not running through the hoops at her bidding any more ... he's more interested in his wife ... doesn't matter that the rest of the house is worried sick about her ... she doesn't care.
Yep, lost all sympathy for Anjali by now ...
Payash ... Payal tries to look after Akash ... look after yourself because you need to look after Di ...
Since Akash has also reverted to tantrum throwing two year old, he fails to see the good sense of what Payal is saying ... Di is upset, so I don't want to eat ...
And Payal finally loses her cool, and gives him a piece of her mind ... 'what did I say that's so wrong? I can't do anything for Di, but I can look after you, so that you can take care of her, can't I?'
Exactly what Khushi told Arnav a couple of days ago ... he saw the good sense in what she said and listened quietly. Akash throws a hissy fit.
And Payal pinpoints his real grouse ... he's angry with her and Khushi, blames them for Di's condition ... but fails to realise that it's because of Khushi that the truth about Shyam came out at all ...
Mami comes in ... just in time to stoke the flames again ... does no one respect the privacy of married couples in this house?! And Mami is very clear, the fault is Payal's and Khushi's ...
Loved seeing the old firm Payal coming back slowly ... I can see Payal getting ready to walk out soon too ...
Anjali gets a blank call ... a wan, tired, pathetic Anjali ... is she pregnant or suffering from terminal illness?
Arnav tries to placate her again ... and does an Anjali on her ... a spot of emotional blackmail always does the trick ...
And Anjali now starts her emotional blackmail in return ... 'you've changed ... you're in love now and ever since you got married, things have changed ...
Ummm, breaking news for you, Anjali ... things do change when a person gets married ...
'You stopped answering my questions ...'
That's because he had a lot more things to worry about ... including the questions from a woman who just wouldn't stop trying to ask them ... a woman who was never scared to question him ... and now he has to answer that woman's questions first ... that's her right, because that woman is his wife ...
And Arnav starts to see what he's up against ... his sister has done exactly what he did a few months ago ... tried, judged and condemned ... all without a trial. And the accused is again Khushi.

This point was necessary. It has now been officially established that Anjali is rethinking about her opinion of Khushi and thinks she is losing her brother.
Also, that blank call today - :) 3 weeks since someone said 15 days. Timing sweetheart. Anali perceives herself to be alone so her next steps from now on will be justified.
Plus Arnav has openly declared his love for Khushi. ASR is in love and proud about it!
Besides, now Arnav will be hit with this catch 22 that as long as Khushi is in RM she is bound to bump into Anjali.
Monday is going to be delightful. Khushi is going to be furious and Arnav is going to be equally hell bent in manaaoing her.

She is yet to smile completely and also she did not yet open her mouth and tell him she accepts him as her hubby. SO khushi is going to do a volteface on him sayin he cheated. And we all know how ASR feels abotu being called a cheater.
When was ASR talking about 1 week to NK when the latter spoke of the Bali trip - at ME or on Mon? Hmm kuch Dil Se...

ReplyDeleteOk, I was expecting a lot of ArHi from today's epi..after yesterday's epi..and was wholeheartedly disappointed.. :(( and soo less of khushi.. :(((( felt like the episode was charmless!! :(
anyway, the positive being, khushi has finally given in, truly.. also, this time, arnav's not going to take out his frustration on khushi... which seemed obvious when he told her to relax while she was fidgeting around the rose petals, visibly embarassed. Secondly, reality struck anjali that chotey loves khushi and that nothing can be done about it...and probably loves her even more than he loves his di..
if I hadn't been mad at daljeet/anjali, the kast few lines of the convo of anjali-arnav might have touched me...but they didn't strike a chord as much as they were expected to be..
lastly, Daljeet will you please start sporting a baby bump?!! ALLL of the scenes where she is supposedly very tired and exhausted coz of pregnancy and hormones look sooo fake to me!!! Looks as if she is in the first month of pregnancy and getting all nakhrel for no reason..
also, point to be noted - anjali was mad at arnav because he lied to her, not because he wanted to spend time with khushi.. so the problem is not just khushi, its about him being accountable or completely honest to her, which she THOUGHT he wasn't .. hmmm, this woman really IS insecure.. for once, arnav has managed to hit di right back where it hurts/works the best - emotional blackmailing! and hence put forth his point that she should never ever think that he is lying..
I think on monday khushi will willingly agree to leave the house and maybe this time arnav won't stop her because even he has seen how ugly things could get..she has accepted him as her husband, he accepts her as his wife..the rest can wait, until di's problems are solved..I think that will be their agenda.. :) rather, should be.. and I wish payal leaves too, alongwith her...because I saw her reaching the breaking point today too! :( poor thing, felt terrible for her.. all of her arguments were justified and logical..
oh yes...and that phone call is surely from shyam.. now that anjali has finally accepted the truth (in whichever way good/bad) that her chotey has changed after marriage and is drifting apart from her, she will try to digest this new revelation and during this time, shyam will make a come back.. and obviously she will team up with him.. although, probably, secretly.. actually I am looking forward to seeing abhaas back on screen.. :)) I have missed him!

DeleteMads, great take ... yep, Anjali is getting on my nerves now, I think her interview has backfired on her as far as I'm concerned at least. I feel very little sympathy for her, and a lot of it is due to the complete absence of baby bump. You ask for sympathy for your character, you tell your audience to feel her emotions ... well, how are we to feel the emotions of a pregnant woman who doesn't look at all pregnant?!

DeleteNicely said. Yep Anji's expressions look moe like she is going to puke than she is tired. I mean you hold onto your hip all the time instead of your head I can understand. I kind of liked her expression in the Shyam reveal episode. Uske baad she has been fluctuating - if they are trying to show her confused mental state they are not succeeding.
The crux of the matter today is she thot he lied to her - and all bcos of the flowers incident recently. Maybe the dialogue about since your wedding kindof made teh wrong impression. I mean it could have progressed to that from she telling him if you did not want to come, u could have said so, why tell me u did and then do this.
Some people may agree with her outlook but yes in my view the whole you ahve changed since you were in love is crap because even after he got married for a long time he was all Di Di Di - she has blocked out portions of life and recalls only what she wants but that is not coming out in the character.
Khushi will want to leave but you think Arnav will let her - no ways. When he could cheat to get her to accept him as her hubby, he is going to stand and fight it out with her. She is going to accept perhaps but anyways dilute it saying contract marriage.
I was reminded of the Dilli main Baali epi where 3 couples began to dance but only ne couple was in a fnzy. Even then this one couple had affected the other 2. Today only this couple is calm while teh otehr 2 are in frenzy and yet it is again this one couple who is affecting the others.

Good episode, good performance. If any one has to complain it has to be Sanaya and she is too much of a sweetheart and Professional to do so. RESPECT!!
I liked the episode ... didn't love it. Overdose of Di ... too many scenes after the first were all about her. And she doesn't have that screen presence to keep your interest for so long.

I would have liked at least one more small Arhi scene showing their reaction to the family drama, preferably Khushi telling him to go to Di, or something like that. They could have postponed one of the multiple "feed Di medicines and put her to sleep" scenes to Monday ... they got repetitive after a while.

Dia I understand what you are talking about. It's the opposite for me. Less of BS does it. Kidnapping track I was fully aware of the reason so that helped. Even then I am glad I did not know it was a complete 45 days leave.
I loved the epi because ... of course 6 uninterrupted mins of pure ArHi. I rather have ArHi gold than diluted 15 mins. Well thursday was an exception. Followed by 2mins ArHi and family. Payal spoke at last &how.
They could have scrapped the Akshay-Mami-Anjali scene though (sorry BG). A-Ajr and A-P scene were good.
Anjali-Arnav scene
Anjali made it clear she is upset about him lying about spending time with his wife. ASR knows exactly where the problem is. He made it clear he wasn't lying. Anjali accepts he is in love and a changed man. What she makes of it in terms of khushi... agle hafte dekhenge.
Sandy I somehow found the statement "jabse tumhari shaadi huwi hai" apt from Anjali's POV .... Because he never really answered any Qs relating to his marriage. His marriage is a secret to her &her marriage has become a nightmare again for his unexplained action. So what happened inbetween does not really cross her mind at the moment. A simple I trust my wife(of 4 months) is not a justified answer when her husband (of 3 years) cannot be trusted.
See goodness of DB's non-existence I can actually see Anjali's POV no matter how screwed it is, if you start adding all other factors to what I wrote above. :D

@shweths..a baby bump is the most natural thing to pregnancy..I wonder how the CVs are allowing daljeet to do this??! or are they not caring abt this huge detail at all??! :S because when you are portraying a pregnant woman, the easiest and the least that you can do to convince the audience is by sporting a baby bump..
Deletecase in point : vidya balan's character in Kahaani..the very premise of that movie was to impersonate a pregnant woman because nobody ever doubts her..and that did it for her even though she wasn't really pregnant.. nobody, not even the police would have wanted to question her or persuade her more when she was so heavily pregnant.. if Daljeet would have sported a baby bump, maybe not that huge, but slightly visible atleast, she could have gotten half of the sympathy votes that she demands now! and would not have had to run around giving interviews justifying her character! :S

DeleteWhat did Arnav ell Khushi earlier this week - tum itna jaane ki zidd karogi main tumhe utna hi rokne ki zidd karoonga. Today he got a peek into how the family is reacting to her. See Khushi is the only one who dares question him. Even when la's engagement broke, she was the only one who asked him and she even old him Just cos everyine is scared of you, yo uthink no one will ask.
Mami being naarad muni, I was so thrilled. Did you see ASR. He was throughout checking to see how Khushi was coping up. He stated to explain but then was cut short. He will realize now just how the hosue feels except for Nani.
Khsuhi will be sad today because this is the 2nd time he did somethign for her in recent times and again Di alienated him. The first being the day he threw Shyam out and Anjali threw him out the door.
See Nani somewhere understands just how delicate teh situation is given what rnav told her the other day but she is no yet willing to break it before Anjali. Arnav also realized just how selective Anjali's recall has become. He knows she blames Khushi fro what happended with Shaym but today he als realized that she blames Khushi for kind of coming between the bro and sis.
And yeah why should I not hope for rain, the climate is such and besides tehre was that rain FB nahi. Ek aur hug toh banta hai boss. Khushi ko mami ne sunaaya.Here he is fighting for her smile and there she will again be plunged in sadness that the family is sad cos of her.
Also, in that famous 4th promo, Arnav's kaash main tumse mohabbat kar paata is shown in rain..so Anav's pain on realizing how his mohabbat is actually going to be another round fo sazaa for Khushi will be painful. He cries, his mother in the sky cries with him.

I never thought that bhai behane ke rishte itne kamjoor hote hai. Just because he was honest ,cleared the doubts he had in his mind abt Shyam and Khushi's relationship. He throws out his KJ, his sister is pissed off...Fine accepted that initially CRYBABY (ANJI) would have difficult time to adjust to fact, because her bubble got busted. But she needs to look beyond that and see the actual picture.
With Mami being against Gupta sisters, so it will be difficult to get her involved. But Naniji and NK know the truth. and they should pull Akash into that group and slowly let him into the picture. Nani starting with Payash's wedding and then NK relating certain incidents that he had visualized.

The way I interpreted this post was How can Anjali think her bro will send her red roses?
I am told it has more to do with Freudian Funda of something whatever.
My point is in our life switching emotions so fast don;t we do it all the time, You are tearing up inside, you put a brave face. You are incredibly happy and you have to put a sombre face cos the occassion demands it.
So her switching from thinking Shyam sent the roses romantically *pukes* to the gratefulness when she came to know Arnav sent them was quite okay with me. Cos the card said, Aapkay face par smile, and Red roses are her favorite.

DeleteMy opinion on red roses aspect is more about how Anji perceives everything to rally around her.....when her world is rosy or when it is not....
the symbolism was only that for me....of how she thinks that if its not Shyam giving it to her its Arnav giving it to her...apart from that, symbolising that she is not able to think of anything beyond her own rosy world...
The "eeks" element that people feel in this entire thing is becos the storyline that is tending towards it..pitching romantic love v/s sibling love as a premise, making it a comparable choice...I know thats NOT what it is actually, its more to do with what ASR is as person and how strongly he feels for these two relations in his life, in a way he is an exception....OR u are not going to have a Di who almost places her hubby and bro on the same pedestal..

DeleteI don't get it too. When you are in college and all red rose, yellow rose... OK. But after all they are just flowers. Anji happens to like red roses and she can accept it from girl friend, boy friend, brother, sister, anyone- I don't see incest or homosexuality there.
I guess for a generation brought up on "Valentine's Day" and "Friendship Day"- the colour has a significance. Anji is an average Indian house wife. She doesn't know even the colour of the flower can get you MU-ed. (Serves her and the CVs right.They are the ones who started the MU drama!)
Otherwise I sympathise with her.
Geetu, I remember those scenes, and I also felt creepy about them, because they showed them both so closely one after the other and both almost identical. THAT'S what made the Anjali one almost incestuous ... I said it then too. The way you wrote it would have been SO much more sensible and realistic ... the whole family coming with Arnav, helping him take care of Anjali ... why did they all disappear?
DeleteI didn't mind the hug after the flowers ... yes, Anjali came across as a little self-centred, but she'd just had a shock, she thought her brother was trying to cheer her up ... it was understandable.
But the cv's have to tread very carefully here ... loving scenes between a mother and son CANNOT be extrapolated to bro-sis, no matter how close the relationship is, it just looks weird. I can't even imagine cupping my brother's face like Anjali does all the time ... that's reserved for hubby and kids ...

In that scene you mentioned, Anji does not pull him close to her. She holds his hand to sit up on the bed and talk to him. People should not see incest in every touch and kiss and gesture. That way, I was more uncomfortable with NK touching Khushi's shoulder to comfort her. No one else seemed to mind it. But I wanted to scream, "back off, NK". There was no need for 'touching' there.

DeleteIt is all in the eye of the beholder. If you have decided in your mind that from this point on whatever a character does he/she is not rigth every acction will get interpreted in the wrong light.
The rose scene if you see it properly, Arnav satnds still, it is Anjali who leans in clinging onto him like a creeper would to the portico pillar.
To me even the carrying Anji up was fine. I mean she is his sister but totally crumbling what does he do, he lifts her like he would a child and again if u see he holds himself stiff and she is clinging to him. The Khushi lift he kpt looking at her all the time.
Maybe what you girls are saying is right but I think in today's day and age colour of flowers given and physical touhing being seen in a wrong light sounds weird.
What would you do if ur best buddy who is a girl but not ur gf likes red roses and u know she luvs flowers as gifts?

DeleteShe can speak again of walking out for everyone's good but if he lets her I would be a tad disappointed. Love aaprt, one of life's biggest lessons as husband and wife is when trouble hits teh family, you stay together to sort it out. No sacrificial attitude but Khushi's atitude always has been if a problem comes up, ignore it, bury it below and move on. But that is not life. You need to face problems head on and why should she leave and Arnav let her when all she has wanted is the family's good.
She knows he is not going to give up on her. If she leaves he will be town down the middle trying to be for her where she is as well as for Di here. He has proven to her withpout doubt that he will no let her be alone.
But yes I want Arnav to tell Anjali that he has not changed and it is just that he has recently realized that he needs to give Khushi time and affection too as she is his wife. Like you said both ae important.
I dont think he will tell her what he told Nani. He did not go with her to the satsang. Besides Akash told Anji in the car that he will take her to satsang in future, in fact promised and then Mami said take a U turn. satsang = satya ke sangath main.

DeleteIf Arnav lets Khushi go from RM, I dont want it to be immediate. Let her smile and acknowledge his efforts. Let her tell him that her happiness is missing because the family is not happy. But if the way ANjali went today is an indicator, chances are Khushi is going to be hdiing in RM all the time and anything she days or dos is going to get her sarcasm. Anji is prone to believeing Mami's acerbic words. So if Arnav tells Khushi to leave let it be because he does not want his wife to stay in a house that does not know how to respect her.
And at that time khade khade let him rip out to everyone as to why Khushi got married to him in the first place, how much she put up with for Di's sake and so forth. But I get a feeling Anji will not believe him because she alreadyy feels he is lying to her.
There was this one time with La when Anji actually told Arnav that he was bringing La home just to spite Nani. Arnav had asked her you think I am capable fo such an act and Anjali had said yes.

Also this is teh time for Arnav to realize that the girl whom he always considered selfish has been selfless not just for him but for his family too.

That day Khushi told NK, she did not feel bad about the flowers because Arnav did it for Anjali, Khushi too was feeling low. What Arnav should really do is to declare that no more hiding Khushi behind corners, she takes her place in the house as his wife and the lady of the house. If Khushi had been allowed to go for the satsang with everyone, none of this would have happened. By keeping her out of Anjali's sight, they're not resolving anything ... it's been a few days now, enough time for Anjali to get over the initial shock, especially if she's ready to attend satsangs also!

DeleteHugggs!! See when he wastrying to woo Khushi he first took NK's advice which did not work but when he went back to his base, he could sort it out with her. Similarly fo now he is ok with the stand Nani took on Khushi Anjali but yes like u said, I soon want him to go back to what he feels is right which is Khushi is as much a part of this house as Ajali. U recall post wedding morning when he told Anjali u accept it or we btoh will leave the house.
Khushi in all probability is going to apologize that because of her Arnav again got misunderstood by his sister. I get a feeling she is going tobring up the contract and say I will anyways need to leave once 6 months are done so why put the family through all this. I might as well leave now. And hoepfully Arnav will realize that her base issue with him was that he brought up the contract. And he takes steps to rectify that just between themselves. So she understands that he has accepted her as his wife forever and asks her if she is willing to do the same.

I actually prefer Anjali's reaction ... so far she is more hurt with Arnav, she hasn't said a word about Khushi, good or bad. That might change soon of course.
Only thing Dia, once i saw the epi properly, had issues with online epi today....i have to say...why did Payal not broach the real issue with Akash...between Akash and her, the issue is why did u keep it from me?...

Please Payal, try to understand that there is more than 'you' and 'us'in my life.
Payash was strained already with babli and chameli ka tel and high heels. He didn't appreciate her demanding his attention then, doesn't welcome it now either. I am not saying he is a perfect husband, he is just a typical male. Give him space and time and he will come back.
What Payal did today was the commonest mistake spouses make in an argument. It is always best to keep quiet when one person is boiling. You can reason things out when he is cool. She was perfect yesterday. Today, she shouldn't have tried to explain herself when he was so upset. She is not WRONG.I am only saying that the wise spouse knows WHEN to open her mouth. She should never be a doormat too! Just wait for the right moment.

He is just trying to fathom why Payal hid it from him. Plus not sure if he thought Payal was not the honest straightforward girl he fell for after her reent high heels and trying to make hubby fall for her antics and all.
Payal is reaching him and but for Mami, she would have expressed more. What was nice to see if Payal is cracking. Yday it was to Khushi and today it was to Akash. She is getting fed up of being walked over.
Mmai is just being rude because she never really liked Payal and always thought her eye was on the family's riches.

Really, how insensitive was ASR today, true to his character.
Like that day (was it munh- dikhayee?)when he declared to the world that what happened in his life was none of any one else’s business. It beats him why his romancing his wife should make his di upset. Just like why can’t a man and woman kiss in public and what is wrong with living in?
It was not insensitive brother, it was just ASR. But what he did is going to come across as insensitiveness to a lot of people.
And mami said it, “how this girl has wound him around her little finger!”
And that statement was enough to remind Akash of the Gupta sisters and their ways.The memory of Payal’s chameli ka tel and high heel disaster also is not that far back. What Payal had almost mended, ASR’s actions dismantled again. And again, Akash is going to perceive it as Khushi’s and Payal’s fault.
Khushi: Poor thing, what is left of her izzat in this house now?”In sab cheezon ka koi matlab nahi hain”- even if she screams, is anyone going to listen to her? Really, ASR, as if she needed any help in digging that grave she has already dug!
Anjali: Really, who can blame her for today? And she even tried to patiently explain to Chhote that things have changed since the day he fell in love. She supported him all through that surprise wedding and all, tried to get RM adjust to Khushiji and she is not even asking her brother to be there for her. She is just pleading with him, don’t lie to me. It is OK if you don’t talk, if you don’t care, but don’t start deceiving me too. Yes, the communication had stopped the day he got married. And who can she turn to now? That Q which she asked naniji, “Kaun sach bol raha hain? Khushi or Shyam?”- can you blame her if it repeats over and over in her mind again. She will believe, but someone please give her enough proof to disbelieve her husband.

1.*GROAN* As I saw that floral red carpet. Bitwa…..in the privacy of YOUR ROOM, please..Atleast, keep KHUSHI’s sensitivity in mind. (But, full marks for the effort!)

3.*LOL* *LOL*- I bet I am the only nut who laughed watching today, but bitiya trying to kick/ hide/ erase/ obliviate that red carpet….*LOL* *LOL*- LOVE YOU, KKG…It is not your fault you ended up with a tactless moron like ASR. Ooh…That moment she must’ve wished she never existed.
4.*ALARMed* at that phone call- already?- Evilwa?- We just got one day of Arhi- hoping that creepwa is still busy hatching his plan and will re-enter Arhi’s life in person only after an appropriate time interval.

And again, I really don't know whether this is deliberate or they don't realise they're doing this ... but Anjali came across as manipulative from the start of the car ride itself ... she was very happy her Chotey was coming with her, so she was all fine inside, then she bravely and magnanimously gave him permission to attend his meeting ... and promptly became all sick and clingy and fainting in the car ... as though looking for an excuse to come back home, now that her ploy of getting her Chotey to herself hadn't worked. And when she reached back home and saw ArHi, her fainting disappeared, and she was able to stand on her own feet, walk without any support to her room, send everyone else away ... it just seemed very fake!
Don't know if the cv's are doing this on purpose, but if you ASSUME that Anjali is being manipulative from the very start, her EVERY action fits.
Right from call Arnav 'Arnav' and not Chotey the first day ... she knows he hates it when she pushes him away and he immediately reverses whatever he has just done which got her angry.
He didn't do that ... he didn't bring back Shyam.
So she pulled that attempted abortion stunt ... leaving an unpaid auto guy to tell Arnav where to find her ... and doing hysterics about wanting to lose her baby because she would be besahara and baby would be without a father.
Arnav STILL didn't say he would bring back Shyam, he just said he's there for her.
She does that weak, clingy act ... Arnav is back to being Chotey, and please restore my world for me, bring back my Shyamji because you can do that. She puts it in so many words, he still doesn't do it.
And she sees him only running after his wife in the meantime, celebrating her birthday, buying her a gift ...
Then she's dead keen to attend a satsang ... does she guess that Khushi will not come, but Arnav will? So even though she's all weak, she still wants to attend the satsang.
And that misfires too ... hence her immediate reaction - you're lying, you didn't have any meeting. Because she tried to desperately to set up her time with Arnav, away from his wife, and she didn't manage to get it. Her reaction was more about her own wish being thwarted ...
I'm not saying this is deliberate ... YET. But it could very easily be shown to be so.
However I don't think the cv's will venture to make Anjali so grey ... pity! I'd feel more justified in hating her :)))

ReplyDeletewas just watching all the SG scenes today, dia and aaru..and I'd almost forgotten HOW brilliant Sanaya was as khushi... :)) so subtle, so convincing.. :)) took me straight into dreamland.. oh yes and could see the difference b/w rati as nupur and sanaya as khushi .. as both playing bubbly and full of life characters, was trying to draw comparisons..and realised just HOW much rati has overacted.. while sanaya has been able to portray the bubbliness with just the right amount of acting.. :)

Just saying, don't hate Anjali, give her a chance.We cannot really judge Anjali and ASR based on our sibling relations. Because, they've gone through a lot in life as siblings. Plus the writer, I feel is not portraying Anji as negative, why are we in a hurry to see her as that? Really, when ASR put his head on her lap and held her hand because he shared her pain- she is married for 3 years- he didn't let her go even when Shyam was a seemingly nice guy, hogged her affections while she was married- why didn't anyone see incest here. It is not fair. The same guy who wrote Arhi has
written Anji- with equal care- and he has written it as the bond between bro-sis- I feel sad that this character is being mauled when it is not intended by the script writer. Forget DB, even Akshay tried to defend Anji. GH is upset by the misinterpretation of Anjali by fandom. I am pretty sure they'l send Sanaya out to defend Anjali if things continue like this.

Deletewell, Gunjan (played by sanaya irani) and Samrat (played by mohit sehgal, sanaya's BF) were characters of 'Miley Jab Hum Tum', a college drama that used to air on star one ...
Basically gunjan is this shy, soft spoken, mature for her age, geeky, extremely reserved, pure at heart, kind of a person.. she, alongwith her sister nupur, who is her antithesis, come to mumbai from a very small town, morena and try to adjust to this new life style.. there they meet their respective life partners .. mayank, for nupur and samrat for gunjan.. and samrat is this boisterous, out going and flirtatious guy.. the typical opposites attract scenario - only thing, the girl and boy in question end up becoming friends instead of falling in love immediately.. there is again a bet involved, but it is about gunjan being able to shed her inhibitions and sing in public, because she is extremely talented and samrat feels her talent should be known to the world, but she is against that.. but eventually she ends up singling at the college talent parade and they end up becoming best friends.. then she falls for him, very deeply, because he had brought out that person from within her which she didn't even know existed, he taught her the meaning of life, how to lead life fully, how to keep on dreaming etc ... but he is infatuated with the new hot chick in college, so they date for a while..gunjan is extremely hurt but decides not to let go of samrat's friendship for her feelings..so she stands by him through everything, until he has a sad break up.. after/during his breakup he realises he is in love with gunjan and then they start dating... some months into dating, but he has marriage phobia because his parents are divorced, so she wants to marry him, but he wants to live in all his life.. she is shattered and hurt and she has a life threatening accident.. during that time, samrat realises that it does not matter anymore what he believes about marriage, he had almost lost her and he can't afford that again, so he becomes ready for marriage.. a day after their engagement, they are all travelling by car when her sister has dies in a car accident and the car is driven by samrat... gunjan is shattered, because her sister had been almost like her mother to her and she breaks the engagement with samrat ... because she cannot be with a man who (however unknowingly killed her sister)..
then the story sets up again after three years...where gunjan and samrat finally meet and how they deal with the happenings in their life...whether they are able to forget the past and move on in their new lives.. :)
uptil now the story is FASCINATING.. but then, nupur (played by Rati Pandey)'s fans started acting weird and irrational and wrote and pressurised the channel and PH to bring back the character of nupur ... and they eventually complied and got back nupur...and the second season of the show went spirally downhill at full speed after that.. :S
anyway, if you want to watch scenes, just for Sanaya's brilliant portrayal as Gunjan, then do let me know..will give you a list .. :)

I don't know how things work in the telly world, but why does Daljeet's decision about sporting a baby bump stick with the PH? As an actor , one is expected to do justice to the role you are playing by committing to what the role demands. I don't understad why she is getting away with this.
Honestly, quite annoyed with DB these days and Anjali is not getting my sympathies only because of the actor playing the role. Very selfish !!

After reading Dia'a post ,few things that came to my mind after a re-watch of the epi
ReplyDeleteKhushi and Arnav both coming to terms that they love each too much, but they have to keep themselves away from each other to sort out things within the family.
Crybaby...realising Arnav is totally head over heels in love with his beautiful wife. Though, she has realised it, but is not able to accept it. The reason...she wants to be center of attraction in each and every relationship she shares, whether it is mami, nani, chotte or KP - Shyam. Crybaby also acccepting that the equation between her chotte and her has changed.
I found that Mami will be last person to accept the whole thing and i would justify her behaviour. Just imagine, yourself that her position, you too will feel the same. why so...Mami was the first person in the family to realise that Khushi is telling the truth abt Arnav's kidnapping, and she was helping Khushi as much as could. But, all of a sudden...because of her leg sprain she had to back out, but asked for update on day-to-day basis, which Khushi never gave. It was NK and Khushi all the way in finding out Arnav. In all that NK got to see the true face of Shyam. And mami was the person who heard the final chat between Shyam and Khushi abt divorcing Crybaby. So she still thinks that khushi had intiated the divorce part.
Though she knows few things, but she is not ready to accept it. She blames Khushi for everything. Though subconciously, she knows that Shyam ki bhi kahi na kahi lagat hai, but she also does not want to see the reality, as it effects crybaby.
Talking abt Payal, crying at the end of their conversation....i understand that feeling...when you know, u have put all that u have, out in open and yet no one wants to understand you, then the frustation that has been building in, just comes out in open as tears...and thats what happened to Payal today...
well, we all know she is not a strong person as Khushi is. No one is ready to listen to her, even though she has put everything across. The person who fell in love with her, followed her, manofied her to get married to him, is also having doubts abt her...hurts her a lot.
Of all the people, Nani got to know Shyam's truth from her chotte, she is able to understand and appreciate Gupta sisters' silence and their maturity. Until and unless, RM waasis get to know the whole story abt Shyam from the day one, till then the situation will not improve.
With Babuji's improving health, one day he will be able to tell the entire story of Shyam's truth to RM waasis. Buaji and Garmiji will be the witness to Babuji's story. then only mami will reconcile to fact of KP of Crybaby.
Coming to another fact, if on Monday Khushi leaves RM, and with Teej around the corner, the another aspect of their relationship between Arnav and Khushi will get cemented...trusting each other.
Last, but not the least...the blank call to crybaby...if it is Shyam, then he is gng to make inroads to RM through Anji. He is gng to use their baby as an excuse and move it forward. Now it is be seen, how Arnav and Nani will take it who know the complete truth. Mami, who knows partial truth. Akash, who has heard everything, but does not know factuals.
Feel that NK is gng to be the bonding factor, who is an outsider and seen things that has happened between Khushi and Shyam.

What I would like to see happen. Arnav Anjali conversation continues. He tries to clarify, she pulls the plug and asks him to leave her alone. Arnav walks out realizing that Di's notions of reality are very very skewed. Walks out to the hall sees the flowers and recalls Khushi. Recalls how she tried to leave the last time and dashes to their room.
Khushi is standing by the poolside looking up at her parents. Perhaps telling them how she has let down everyone and all are sad because of her. And how can she be happy in such a situation. Arnav sees all this and says something to teh effect about how her parents would be proud of her. There was a day he asked her if his mother would be happy and then there was a day he told her it is good her parents are not around to see her now when they fought by the roadside. There is some rain, romance in the mix.
Khushi gets all livid at him for cheating her to run into his arms. SO like Holi she says not done he needs to try again. Besides even if she has accepted him what is the point the relationship only lasts until the contract ends and Arnav takes steps to rectify the same and make her Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada forever. He tells her that he will find her the happiness that she accused him of not being able to buy but until then she stays put. Deal?
If Khushi speaks of going back home, let Arnav tell her that her absence will not solve anything plus her family will get perturbed too. Babuji's health may suffer. That should be reasonable for Khushi. If Khushi beings up how Di is pushing him away because of her then let him tell her that Di si going through a tough pahse and hum dono milkar unhe manaa lenge.
Besides Khushi tumhaare jaane se kyaa hoga - tun har kaam akele nahi kar sakti?
Letting her help him solve the issues is another show of his acceptance of her and the value of her position in his life.

Stopping C well Khushi I think is going to bring up that bit about her smile and getting her smile back is in Di's happiness .Earlier she did it for Di on Arnav's say so now Arnav does it for Di on her say so.
Peetal bartan - Anajli ate a lot of ice cream and fell sick. Here she is pregnant, her world has shattered and he is unabel o do the one things she asks him for. g. 5+1=6 / shashti. Shasti is imporant in Navratri because it is the victory of Lord Karthikeya over Tarakasura. Shasti also makes me think of Sitalshasti which is a carnival to celebrate the marriage of Shiva and Parvathi. The Shiv Parvathi marriage was ordained so that they may come together to beget a child who will destroy evil - basically come together to destroy evil
h. At Teej every year Anjali and Shyam profess to renew their wedding vows

Another epi is an Anjali Arnav convo about the Anjali SHYAM wedding. An oblique reference to the circumstances in which they got married how SHYAM always keeps Anjali happy and how she fears this happiness will be lost. Arnav goes on to reassure her how he will never let anything wrong happen to her, how she is his world and how he could do anything to see a smile on her face.

k. On Raksha Bandhan eve last year, there was a fight between Arnav and Anjali and Arnav had in anger called RM his house. And then Anjali left home / went missing.
I will tell you one more thought which suddenly came to mind. The first 2 scenes of latest promo, Arnav with a file looking up and then Arnav Khushi have star conversation. Was reminded of the 7th May epi, the one where Khushi wirtes her wasiyat and runs off to try and commit suicide so as to get out of the way of Arnav's happiness. Arnav says lets sit and talk. He rescues her from near death.
The rain hug FB is yet to happen and that day Arnav had saved her from being run over. Will history repeat as they are recreating old moments?
Today Arnav being left alone in the hall was like Khushi on the wedding night. It was Khushi then who had mended every relationship in RM. Will it be Arnav this time round?
On the non happening SR post grihapravesh, there was a scene where Arnav lifts Khushi from poolside into room. Then he did not want Anjali to know of matters between them. That day too Arnav was left standing while Anjali walked out of his room away from him first and Khushi walked into his room yet away from him. Today, Arnav ha brought Khushi into his room adn life. He held Khushi in the middle of the hall and did not wish to hide anything. Yet again Anjali walked away from him while Khushi seemed to walk away from him yet towards their room.
Anjali was cross then, she is cross today. That day she was cross he did not answer her for having married so suddenly. Today she is unhappy with him for lying to her about his intention to spend time with her. That day Khushi had been accepted as the bahu of the house, today she has been accepted by Arnav as his wife.

I have purposely kept out Shyam saving her in Lucknow because the above 3 Arnav is aware of just that Khushi has hid it all from the family.
In tha Shyam slap promo, it seemed Khushi who had been screening him moved aside exposing him but she stood far away from her husband and family. Today when the family entered and caught Arnav and Khushi in the midst of an intimate moment, Arnav faced teh family. But the way Khushi turned around and moved aside, it seemed as if she who had screened him so far was being moved aside. He instead chose to come to the fore as if shielding her and she stood by him through it all.And they stood on a bed of roses.

DeleteNani will be thinking about both her grandhildren. She knows Arnav's plight but she also knows Anjali's. Hence she snubbed Mami and ended i. But mark one thing. Nani si fair. If she sees Arnav being lynched then she will speak up firma and sound. She has always been Khushi's champion but she is thinking how best to keep the family sane in these insane circumstances.
As for Mami, this is the first time post the inciden Arnav has seen Mami spread viriol on Khushi. U wait the next time she tries, Mami will get a nice talkign to from ASR.

Dia, Madsie agree with both of you, Anji does give me creeps. I mean I was okay with red roses and all. Colour of the flower is hardly a matter of debate however, as you guys have rightly said it's the similarity between scenes with wifey and anji that creeped me out. Moreover, anji seems to cup arnav's face at every opportunity, stop it anji, he is your brother. I would never do that to my bro. It's reserved only for my hubby. I have not seen DB's interview and seriously I am happy I have not seen it. Not having seen it, i could still not ever really conjure much sympathy for her and even less by the day. The thing that comes to my mind is the dialogue after hut scene 'humein chot toe nahi lagi lekin hamare kapde maile ho gai hai' The hurt and pain she has gone through, knowing khushi she will take in her stride and move on. She will forget and forgive ASR and raizada's for all that she has goe through but in the process her honour has been hurt and has been on stake. Arnav will have to hurt her more by letting everyone into their secrets about their marriage and all in ordder to restore her honour so noone else can hurt her. Right now, KKG will be more hurt and embarrassed if people found out the circumstances in which she married Arnav but it's time that arnav slow and steadily brings the truth to fore.... 'mai nahi chahta koi aur tumhe hurt karein isiliye mujhe ye karna padh raha hai, I'm sorry khushi'

The other dialogue that comes to mind is the one after the hand pump scene, 'peeche wale raaste se ghar chaliye, aage ka raasta ghanda hai'... will the GH folks find out the truth about khushi's marriage? Even if they do, it will be the same way as nani found out, minimal and without ASR being held to account by them....
Agree that bull has to be taken by the horns and hence khushi should stay in RM and face the problems rather than sweeping them under the carpet. With strength, support and arnav's love she will be more than ready to face everything but Arnav needs to tell her how much he loves her, needs to show her her place in his life and then bitiya will stay and face anything for him. My only condition that I don't want bitiya to stay under the same roof as VLR even for a day anymore...

Sandy the post I was talking about was about Tulsi vivah around diwali... I had written about why I wanted a diwali wedding for khushi. There is a lot of similarity between Shyam, arnav and khushi story and Jalandhar, Vrinda and Vishnu.
Vrinda was demon king Jalandhar's wife. Due to her devotion to vishnu, her husband was invincible and hence jalandhar could not be destroyed. this made him arrogant and waged wars against gods and other kings alike. To defeat Jalandhar, vishnu took jalandhar's avatar and started living with vrinda as her husband thus destroying her chastity. Jalandhar was defeated and killed. Vrinda then cursed vishnu that he will turn black (shalingram) be separated from his wife (in re-birth rama and sita). Vishnu did not let vrinda suffer much and turned her into Tulsi plant...
In our story, khushi was engaged to shyam, as long as she kept quiet he was invincible thus became arrogant and picked up a fight with ASR. ASR married khushi and lied with her as hubby and wife thus destroying shyam... We have seen Arnav khushi separation and ther might just be another separation after the shyam revealation...
Hence yesterday when ASR referred to 'I can meet kumar after 3 months, family is more important' I thought, ASR and Khushi wedding around Diwali (tulsi shaadi), meeting - being united with her as one phsically and emotionally and family comes first as in sorting out things at hand...

Accident came up today, Kumars yesterday. I get a feeling in 3 months time Arnav will come to know the full truth behind Khushi’s parents’ accidental death.
Today in that shot where Arnav tells Khushi he would not mind if she considered him her husband, they were standing on a pathway of roses, almost like a road. He had that day by the roadside cupped her face and asked her why she had no answers for him and had ridiculed that her silence had all been for his sister’s sake. He threw the dialogue of her being Mrs. ASR and how it would be difficult to walk away from it all. Earlier in the day Khushi had rebuffed every material gift he gave her and told her how he could not gift her a smile. It has been his efforts since then starting with the wardrobe that almost broke the ice and then she ran into his arms down the rose strewn path.
When they hugged each other for some reason I was reminded of the north Indian jai mala rasam and then Khushi bends down to pick up a petal – almost like the bit in Indian weddings where the bride bends down to touch her husband’s feet. When she stands up her life which till then had been in darkness is brightly lit up and her husband professes pride and happiness in being her husband.
The bit about Khushi hitting him back was very Guest House reminiscent. And in his FB what did Arnav tell NK – he sent her to the construction site not knowing the site was in a precarious state and about to collapse. Today he has completed her journey to RM as his wife but he is yet to fully realize that the very house he has brought Khushi into is on the brink of collapse. Last year post this Khushi broke her contract, will she attempt the same this year?
Was reminded of the hut scene in KN where Arnav wants to go away to save Khushi and Khushi is refusing. Now it is a volte face with Khushi wanting to leave to save Arnav the heartbreak with him refusing. Like UJ's thot here about how he needs to hurt her more to save her from being hurt by others.
Like I told Aaru earlier, I don’t want Khushi to leave now or Arnav to let her go. Maybe Khushi says she will leave at the end of the contract but Arnav promises to her that by then she will be his wife forever. For what happened today Khushi can always call a cheating on Arnav and besides she did not speak out her acceptance yet. Just like Teri Meri where she won but with his help. So he won this but with her help. So do they come up with something to happen before the contract period ends or maybe Teej . Arnav is successful and a kiss waali shart like scene happens. That night Khushi had used her earlier sangeet bet to ask him why he brought her bangles, this time Arnav uses his win in the bet of her running into his arms to ask her why she fasted for him?

Khushi running down the stairs in darkness with that plant in hand reminded me of them going to Guptas. That day Arnav caused a blackout with ordering the AC. Maybe the next trip the blackout happens on account of the darkness in their daughters lives. But just like he was with Khushi then, he will be with Khushi this time round too.
Last year Arnav threatened to walk out bcos the family was not willing to see his POV. And then when he realized the family had got Khushi back by stealth he was enraged. Will both happen again but with a twist this year?
Shyam is going to speak nice to Anjali, enquire about the baby, express sadness at being unable to be there for the baby and Anjali is going to feel more and more justified in her anger. Like on the wedding night Shyam only gave fuel to the fire in Arnav’s mind against Khushi (albeit it was wrong), here too he will just fan the flames of Anjali’s mind. She is already wondering kiski nazar and is thinking of since her brother fell in love and all.

DeleteRegardless, love how the CVs are recreating each important moment in ARHI's life and imbuing it with a different meaning. Yesterday was Khushi's fear of the dark as she was stuck in the guest house - at that time it was a crumbling edifice, this time she has a path strewn with roses.
Also love the changes in Anjali - her selfishness and need to control Chote is coming to the fore. Look forward to the next track...but not before we have a very, very good dose of ARHI romance - hopefully Sandy, this will be an uninterrupted track before the winds change in early August.

DeleteI wouldn't blame Anjali for what she said yesterday. As far as she is concerned her brother got married to Khushi clandestinely without informing anyone and when she had tried to pull him up for it, he had threatened to leave the house with Khushi. Yes, he forcefully married Khushi to keep her from coming between his sister and her husband, but this is a fact she is still not aware of. As far as she is concerned, Arnav married Khushi for love and not for hate. Although she had witnessed their numerous squabbles, she never suspected that it had anything to do with her beloved Shyam. She presumed it was because of Arnav's rude, arrogant and introverted nature. She does not know that these two had lived through hell during the last four months so that her perfect bubble does not burst. She does not know that her beloved chottey hasn't even consummated his marriage with his wife, even though he is passionately in love with her and the sole reason is that her Shyam was the thorn in their married life. While even Nani had a tough time accepting the ugliness of Shyam, imagine this woman's plight when the truth is still not fully out.
ReplyDeleteWhen Khushi was making all those accusations against Shyam supported by Payal and NK, the one man who should have stepped in her defence by telling everyone clearly what he knew of Shyam's ugliness did not do so. He remained silent for far too long even as his wife was continuously humiliated and Shyam had enough time to spill poison in the minds of the people gathered there. It was brought down to Khushi pleading with Arnav to trust her as she had no proofs.
Oh yes, Arnav slapped the creep for what he did to his wife and sister but did he tell them the full truth then and there, to leave no room for doubt? All he said was that he trusted Khushi. Now to a woman with a weak mind and an eternal devotion to her husband, it would sound like it boils down to Arnav believing Khushi's words over Shyam's with no solid proof. If only Arnav had admitted to her (like he did to Nani), that he believed Khushi because he himself had seen the dark side of Shyam and had forcefully married Khushi because he had not trusted her in the beginning, she would have understood the circumstances better and would have been able to accept Shyam's guilt. Yes, it would have been painful for her to know that her brother knew the truth all along and still hid it from her but she had the right to know and he took away that right. He is as guilty as Khushi for hiding the truth but this is a fact still not known to the rest of the family save Nani. Thus, Anjali's indignation was perfectly justified for it seemed to her that Arnav can go to any extent for Khushi. He had earlier threatened to walk out with her post marriage and now he seemed to lie to her so that he can romance his wife. So there was every possibility that he may have taken Khushi's side against Shyam only because he cannot live without her and not because she was right. Arnav's failure to come clean about the whole sordid affair has now painted Khushi as a manipulator in her mind rather than a victim.
So I would place the blame squarely on Arnav. He had to come clean with her now and tell her everything. His failure to do so even now would be totally unfair on Khushi. It is high time Khushi walks out of this mad house with her head held high. If Arnav has a spine, he will follow her after telling Anjali the real truth about Shyam so that she can protect herself. Otherwise she is sure to get the devil back.

I may end up sounding like a bad person, but, IMO ASR DESERVES THIS MU from his beloved sister. Now he will know what it is like to be MU-ed by the person you love most- what K went through when he MU-ed her. And he will realise how difficult it is to clear a MU once it is created. Sort of like a bit of RTR, because K will never MU him and his MU quota has to come from Di.

DeleteI agree with you completely as well. Arnav has made this bed for himself ... and Anjali is actually repeating the same mistake he made four months ago, because she is not being told the true picture. That was my thought as well.
And today more seeds for this were sown, as Anjali now thinks he lied to her for Khushi's sake, so he could have been fooled by Khushi earlier. Just paved the way for Shyam to return to RM.
And agree with Su, this is Arnav's RTR in a way ... as he himself goes through exactly what he put Khushi through, and discovers how much it hurts being MU'ed by a person you love.
Dia, Su well put but my problem is Di would find it easier to forgive her dear chottey for madly loving his wife (right now she thinks his actions stem from that love) than she would to forgive Khushi (for she may end up considering her to be the manipulator that Shyam had painted her to be). Su, even if she does not believe him now, I still think he has to tell her the truth of that black day when he forcefully married Khushi. She has already given him an opening by bringing up the issue of how he has stopped answering her questions after his marriage. So the time is ripe for him to tell her why he had turned silent then. Maybe she may not believe him but at least the seeds of doubt as to whether he just might be telling the truth would have been sown just as Shyam managed to sow the seeds of doubt about Khushi's character. This can then reaffirm certain behavioural traits once the snake returns which he sure is going to.

Ironic how Arshi sacrificed their own happiness and lived through a hellish marriage for the sake of their siblings who enjoyed their respective marital lives blissfully. I would like to see how she reacts to that ... right now she's behaving more like a jealous wife, or rather like a possessive MIL, so that's not really interesting, and makes her too vampish.
When Arnav tells her he and Khushi knew about Shyam for so long, then they are both tarred with the same brush ... THEN what will Anjali do?

1. Get angry with him for bringing things to this point.Confrontation and getting everything including contract cleared between them.(Angry young woman)
2. Feign sleep (like she did when he wished her on her b'day) and decide the KKG way that 'his' way is only driving the divide deeper and it is time for 'her' way.
3. Sit down and talk things through peacefully.
4. Pack her bags and leave, convincing him that seems to be the best option.
Which is the real KKG way?

My fingers crossed for the first 2 scenes between Arnav Anjali and Arnav Khushi. Hayyyyeee totally dreamy.
Only thing to change, Arnav says Yes Di I am also Khushi's husband and you both are important in my life. U know like the Payash night when Anjali was telling to both Shyam and Arnav.
And yea man I hope that he realizes it is the bloody contract that is eating into Khushi. So let him clearly spell it out to her that the contract is null and void. He is breaking the contract...
As for the news of Khushi leaving RM, chances are next morning Nani finds chotey and tells him it will be best if they both go away for a while. Or news of someone being sick at GH comes and Nani suggests that Arnav should go to as moral support. She will tell him not to worry about Anjali as she is around. Arnav convinces Payal to stay back to look after the family and hopefully imparts a few words of wisdom to his lil bro.
You know an absence of Arnav and Khushi idea I like cos then it gives more credence to Anjali bringing back Shyam into RM by stealth just like she did with Khushi.
But yeah all this not before he corrects amami about KBT and PS nicks :)

This could be the start of the next track which will last for 30 IPKKND days.
There could be three interpretations to this.
The first interpretation - The number 2 could indicate Arnav and Khushi who will become 1 (as per the earlier food bill sequence) and this oneness will continue for 30 IPKKND days. Rice needs to be boiled before it can be consumed. So Arshi may be boiled by the Raizadas (or maybe just Anjali and her ever so delicate health). It can also mean their love for each other will boil and overflow.
If the new food bill sequence where 1 is substituted for 1/2 is taken into account, then they may briefly get together only to be torn apart (the halving).
Interestingly they showed the promo of Arshi reunion first (before the change in the food bill) and now (after the change in the food bill) they have the promo of Khushi lying unconscious in Arnav's arms. As Sandy said there certainly is something cooking up.
The second interpretation - The No.2 in the sequence could refer to the second person in this trio of Arnav-Khushi-Anjali, i.e., Khushi. If one takes rice to refer to Khushi, then she will be boiled by the Raizadas. Arnav may be her sole supporter (the Number 1 which follows the rice in the bill) but he would be halved (a broken man) because of what he has/will put her through (going by the change in this number in the recent bill.
The third interpretation could be Rice is a reference to Anjali. If one goes by this interpretation then Anjali will get cooked for the next 30 days because although she may put up a brave front and accept the man who betrayed her, she may be boiling inside.
Now looking back, I think I got the cooking right because all three, Arnav, Khushi and Anjali are getting cooked in their emotions although I dont think I got the period right. Thirty days could mean the overall length of this track (either in real terms or in terms of IPKKND days terms). We did see Arshi coming together as one only to be torn apart by the undercurrents that run deep in the family, particularly in the weak mind of Anjali. This would explain the one turning into half in the scene they showed later. We also saw how Arnav was torn between his concern and care for his sister and his love for Khushi. So the halving could also refer to him. Rice could also refer to Anjali. She is equally torn between wanting to believing her bro had done right by her and also not being able to accept her husband could be wrong. Looks like Shyam is winning at the moment and her trust is tilting more in favour of him.

Sama, I thought of the same thing but it would be comic to see how Arnav tries but then gets put off with all the squeaking. Better still it caves in and they get stuck in between the planks. Buaji bangs at the door asking them what happened and they try to assure her all is well.
