Happy 4th of July for those in the US of A :)
Wednesdays are usually not great ... but the story has been going good recently, so let's hope for the best.
One small shiddat here ... ArHi have a bath! Tired of the banyan!!!
Quick update - okay, my shiddat wasn't heard ... but the episode was good ... taut and tense ... and the whole truth comes tumbling out ... today first Mami and then Khushi ... mostly Khushi ... were on a roll! And NK right at the end of course!
And the episode went pretty much as predicted ... especially the family reactions ...
ASR was silent all through ... was Barun even there during this shoot? His expressions were pretty fixed at some points ... but it looked like Arnav was listening very intently to all the proofs Khushi was tumbling out, and putting things together ... and also realising that Shyam's shatir dimaag is not going to let go so easily.
Khushi will sleep easy tonight ... everything finally out in the open ... and if she lets out the engagement truth, then all the more so ... nothing hidden from her end any more.
And today also showed why she kept quiet all through ... no one would have believed her at all. And she knew it ... and so did Shyam ...
Shouldn't Arnav wonder why Shyam keeps asking if Khushi or NK have any proof? As a lawyer Shyam would know how easy it is to manufacture proofs and twist them around.
Anjali in the first scene irritated me today ... cracking up and going hysterical once Arnav is back safe and sound ... but later she was listening to Khushi all along ...
NK is a darling ... if Arnav mistrusts Khushi on this one, she should pack up and leave for Australia with NK ... and it was good to show how difficult even NK found it to utter the truth about Shyam. Again Mami also kept quiet and listened to NK ... she was ready to mistrust Khushi because of Khushi's insistence on keeping quiet but Khushi explained that one, and Mami knows it's the truth - she almost got hit by the plank attack ... so Mami might waver for a few days more and then cross over.
And precap ... Payal finally speaks up!!! And I really hope we get back that fierce Payal from post guesthouse, the one who could face even the mighty Arnav Singh Raizada and fight for her baby sister Khushi.

Watched it again ... a well put together episode ... it kept the tension taut and tight right through. And also explained why ArHi came back straight away ... it would have been crazy if they had stopped to romance and not talked things through about the entire kidnapping, together with everything Khushi and NK did, before starting to cootchie-coo ... this way, Arnav got to see and hear Khushi's, Mami's and NK's contributions from the sources themselves ... and also observe Shyam's reactions very carefully.
Though Barun's expressions left a lot to be desired ... he needs to look far more intense and watchful, not surprised and shocked as though he's hearing about his own kidnapping and all the events therein for the first time! :(
To start - Mami gets the introductory act ... breaking news to the family that yes, Arnav was kidnapped ... Anjali needs confirmation ... she gets it from Arnav's nod, and Khushi's words.
The exchanged looks spoke more today than the dialogues ...
I don't think Arnav Khushi planned to say anything to the family yet ... Mami pre-empted them by insisting on telling the family ... there was an exchange of glances between Arhi when Mami disclosed the truth ... as though to say, ok, we're in for it now, and both looked towards Anjali, as though checking her reactions first, to see if she could handle it. Or rather, Arnav looked at Anjali, and Khushi looked horrified ... nope, they didn't plan on telling anyone till they had talked between themselves first. And Khushi looks for Arnav's reaction when Di asks him ... is he going to tell everyone right now? Only when he nods, that yes, he was indeed kidnapped, does she say anything ...
And Shyam looks at Khushi when she confirms ... and starts getting worried ... what is she going to say?
Akash gets some dialogues ... his mother didn't tell anyone?
Mami is annoyed that Khushi stopped her from telling anyone ... and she thinks she knows the real reason ...
Khushi looks at Mami in shock - why is Mami angry, what does she know? then at Arnav, Arnav looks back at her ... Khushi looks at Anjali ... how much should she say?
Akash asks, how come only Khushi knew, and no one else?
Duhhh ... because the rest of you are blind, deaf and dumb ... ok, I forgive you, cv's wrote you that way, not your fault :p
Arnav does have an answer to that ... because his kidnappers didn't want anyone to know he was kidnapped.
Mami asks why Arnav was kidnapped, they never asked for ransom ...
Arnav looks at Shyam ...
Khushi says the kidnappers didn't want money, they wanted something else ... that Arnav knows, they wanted to kill him. And she couldn't tell anyone because it would have endangered Arnav's life.
This too Arnav knows ...
Anjali irritating as always ... locking stable door when horse has bolted ... having hysterics about Arnav being in danger when he is back safe and sound ... I warned you, Daljeet, I am going to be mean to you!
Khushi tells the final shocking truth ... they wanted to kill him ...
Mami is listening very intently now ... Anjali hugs Arnav tearfully, Arnav looks bored ...
Mami asks Khushi ... you know so much, then tell us ... who were these people? And why did they want to kill him?
Khushi Arnav exchange looks again ... so Arnav did give her the go-ahead here ... otherwise he would have stopped her at this point ... and Khushi moves towards Anjali ... preparing her for the final reveal ... as Arnav watches Shyam, and Shyam looks at Khushi shocked, is she going to say it?
And Arnav doesn't take his eyes off Shyam ... as Khushi says, she has to tell the truth now, even if it hurts Anjali ...
Mami asks again ... Khushi says the man is right here ... Arnav watching Shyam all along, Shyam sweating in earnest now ...because it looks like he can't keep Khushi quiet any more.
'Hai na, Shyamji?'
Shyam was already looking at Khushi as though knowing she will say his name ... and preparing the correct expressions accordingly ... but Arnav was looking at him all through ... while everyone else was looking at Khushi ...
The usual shocked expressions on everyone's face ... except for Mami, who is thoughtful, as she starts to review her earlier thoughts about what she saw ... 'Damaadji?'
She already knew he was not the angel he's painted himself to be ... and so far Khushi has spoken the exact truth from what she knows of it ...
Anjali gets ready to defend Shyam to her last breath ... Shyam lets her get on with the job ... Arnav watches him ...
Mami asks Khushi 'what are you saying?' Not 'you're talking nonsense.' She does not ask Shyam ... Shyam decides it's time to intervene ... Anjali can be relied on to blindly defend him, but Mami is too sharp for comfort, besides she was with Khushi at the start ...which he had completely forgotten about.
'What are you saying? How can you accuse me ...?'
'I'm not accusing you ... I'm telling the truth ...'
Anjali begs Khushi, 'you've been mistaken ...' ... now I started liking Anjali a bit ... pleading with Khushi to tell her she's wrong, but actually listening to her ... Khushi is really sorry to do this, but she has to ...
Nani also can't believe it ...
And Arnav still watching Shyam carefully ... Barun's expressions need some work here! Same shots, or same expressions? :(
And now Shyam is in trouble ... and Arnav starts to hear the entire story of what all Khushi went through to find him ... first from Mami, she and Khushi got the airport CCTV footage ... yes but Shyam wasn't there in those tapes ...
Khushi discloses Shyam's motive now ... something that was puzzling Mami too ... Shyam wanted the entire money and property ...
Arnav remembers Khushi got some papers signed from him before he left ... again more truths from Khushi ...
Mami thoughtful again ... but Khushi lost the papers ...
Shyam has to ask Anjali to keep Khushi quiet ... Anjali obliges but Khushi is not going to stop ...
'Shyam made Arnav call the family just when they were going to call the police' ... Arnav remembers ... and he must know what he was told when he made the call ... he knows he was made to call in a hurry ... more dots connecting ...
Khushi goes on ... when she and Mami found Arnav, they moved him to the next place ... the gifts that were sent ...
Mami knows about those too ...
Shyam asks for more proof ... he really wants to know how did Khushi get on his trail?
The shoes and the blood stains ... now Anjali is a witness to this, Khushi asked her Arnav's blood group ... yes, Anjali remembers ...
Yes, ok, blood group doesn't prove anything, we do know that ...
Will Anjali remember how many times she caught Shyam snooping in Arnav's room when neither Arnav Khushi were there?
Mami still thinking deeply ...
Shyam is losing it now ... but he still manages to slide out of it ... with a counter-accusation ... how dare she go snooping in his room?
Arnav is getting restless ... she doesn't have any proof, how are they going to do this?
Shyam asks for more proof ... she had the phone with the will ... but she lost it when she went hunting for Arnav ... that is a big blow ...
Her final proof ... conclusive one, actually ... that Shyam had Arnav's passport ... Shyam deflects that, not by denying that he had it, but by his usual telling the truth in the guise of a lie ... yes, you'll say I wanted it to get a fake Scotland immigration stamp put on it ...
Khushi says, yes, that's exactly what you were going to do ... (NK is going to confirm this one too ;) )
Shyam blusters again ... you're making false accusations, and how did you dare to go into my room?!
Anjali falters ... Arnav holds her hand briefly ... just a brief look at Khushi ... and he lets her continue ...
"I dared the same way that you dared to threaten Arnav's life ..."
Shyam deneis it all ... 'you have no proof and everyone knows that now ...'
Arnav's eyes flicker at that one ... so Shyam is confident that Khushi has no actual proof ...
And as everyone looks at Khushi with varying mixture of disbelief and tension, a welcome voice ...
"Nannav!"

Aww cutie-pie ... so happy to see Khushi, he was worried about her, even happier to see Nannav ... "Nannav, mere bhai ..." and NK tells Khushi he's proud of her, she managed to get Arnav back safely ... something which the rest of the family doesn't even know ...
Anjali hears that, so does Arnav ... and Shyam ... but Shyam still doesn't know how closely NK was involved ... he just saw the end bit when Khushi dragged NK with her to Vasant Vihar ... maybe he can get out of this one too, NK only knows what Khushi has told him ...
Khushi begs NK to talk, Anjali will believe NK if she doesn't believe her ...
Anjali may or may not ... but Mami is definitely having a re-think ... Arnav watches NK, as he confirms it, then immediately switches to watching Shyam ... and Shyam's consternation ...
NK says, 'don't make me open my mouth, I know what Khushi has gone through because of you ... and you and I both know she's telling the truth ...'
Shyam can't do much except bluster ... 'you're as crazy as Khushi ... whatever she said, you're just repeating ...'
Wrong ... NK has been an equal partner ... he heard and saw Shyam talking to the travel agent about getting a Scotland stamp ... exactly what Shyam just said himself two minutes ago ...
And Shyam is flummoxed at this one ...
Precap ... Shyam is digging his own grave ... how would he know that Arnav has never seen his kidnapper?

if not for the seriousness at which the serial is poised....i would said..it made for fantastic comic viewing(albeit the unintentional one)....
I really don't know what happens to these guys...they just canned a beautiful episode with BS's fantastic exp..why did they go crazy today...all it required was an expresssion saying...i am assimilating or was this a play-act by him....if i could not make that distiction, i don't deserve to call myself a fan of this serial....Rant over

Rekha: I am guessing they were not planning on Family confrontation so soon, but they canned the scenes anyway especially with NK present.
Jaya can confirm this NK and Arnav hug was with a BD. So I am guessing since NK was very much needed they shot those scenes minus Barun and did the Barun parts again.
And ASR looks too young now, hence the stern look as if he is thinking is not there.
Remember the look right after he announced his engagement with La and he has this introspecting look on what he did and how Khushi is reacting, THAT expression was needed today.

sama, not NKs bd.... ASR's bd! from what i saw, (and i said in a comment somewhere) ASR just shot a few standard shocked/unbeleiving expressions.. and they kept replaying the same clip for each ASR darshan.. means, his expression was the same.. EDITORS, Dandaaaa!

Arnav's expressions were exactly as if he was watching the movie Kahaani, trying to decipher it all.
I mean when she said he was made to call the family, cudnt he open his mouth and say that is TRUE!!!

today the episode was very slow.
they showed us each and every one's expressions at every main dialogue..
yet i was not bored.. in fact, i was gripping the edges of my seat and leaning forward.
the precap gives me dhak dhak, even after ten minutes.

I am batting on Arnav's side today ;) I think he was trying to assimilate the entire story ... at least, that's what the intention was to show. Barun had some very fixed expressions at times ... he was obviously not there for most of the shoot ... and Barun does NOT give the correct expressions when he adds his bit later ... either that, or the editors just add the same shots again and again. Sanaya is much better when she adds her scenes separately ... one can never make out when she's added her shots later.
DeleteBut there were a couple of places where he definitely looks as though he's very carefully watching all of Shyam's reactions as Khushi piles on the accusations ...
Sanaya was DAMN good ... Khushi spilling out everything, and getting increasingly more frustrated and upset as Shyam keeps deflecting all the strikes one by one, and she's left with nothing ...
Abhaas was back in form today ... much better than yesterday ... actually he was bad in the car scene yesterday, which was badly written more than anything ... today it was Khushi vs Shyam and what a face off!
Bitiya is not a lawyer nor is she street smart ... she doesn't think 'proof' ... Arnav did, that's why he asked her at the door yesterday and that's why he was watching her and Shyam very carefully ...
Shyam kept asking for proof and that in itself sounds suspicious ... a guilty person would make sure he kept proof to cover his/her story, an innocent person wouldn't think of it. But it could be argued that Shyam is a lawyer, that's the way he would talk ...
Dia problem is Arnav usually does not have much to say ... today there was none.... hence editors take the privilege of copy pasting the same shot here and there .....with khushi she is full of dialogues ... whether separate or not, that gives one que for shift in expressions

Agree with both Jaya and Aaru ... it did seem as though ASR was assimilating everything, and trying to put together the entire story ... but his expressions were off ... it didn't come across that way.

Arhi could have taken the scenic route, and discussed the entire last two weeks on the way and what all Khushi had done to get to Arnav and at Shyam's guilt. Then Arnav would have known exactly what Khushi was talking about.
But noooo, how can they do that ... then toh Arnav will believe Khushi in one day, denounce Shyam and throw him out the next day ... track over!

Bitiya said all the right thing, how she and mami searched for the airport cctv tapes....how the kiddos moved bitwa from one place to another..... also the blood stain thing and the blood group matching...
And Nk stepping in at the right time... the way he hugged Bitwa *awwwww* and he said he is proud of khushiji, she finally managed to get Nannav back, safe and sound.........
at one point i thought he wont say anything (VLR ne dhamki di hogi etc) but then i remembered that this isnt a Kekta serial..heheheh and NK spoke.... and he mentioned VLR's talk to the travel agent about scotland stamp on the passport.......unfortunately he won't be able to hold the fort...
but the precap was awesome.........Payal finally standing up for her Sister..you go girl...all rona dhona maaf just for that one.....

The TRP IS 2.7 now , yes it has risen but compare it to 4.4 of BV. So we have an uphill task ahead and this IDIOT PH instead of showing Arhi Promo should have shown either Anjali knowing the truth or the family confrontation with Khushi instead they showed idiotic promos, family audience will not tune in right after almost 2 months of OTT and 2 months of KN drama.
So she may be right, there might be some warning, but SP will not axe the show so soon pucca cos it is still huge and is winning them awards.
But it also has to give them dandas right. Let us see what happens.
Accurate spoilers.....yeah if u can get past what she writes....some indecipherable language she writes....it almost seems on purpose such communication that no one will understand

SP allowed the hero to be off for almost 2 months, before that forced them for OTT comedy &both took away ASRs dimaag knowing its very much the dimaag of the show... they will give PH time to recover from the damage they themselves have inflicted on the show. No worries.

DeleteWhat if his silence is DELIBERATE. Khushi being Khushi will want to confront him rightaway just like she wanted him to prove her innocence to ASR.
ASR keeps quiet, lets her have her way ki you do what you can do, I will stand by.
So she continues, then NK, then Payal so slowly bits of pieces of truth start emerging.
And remember in all this, she has not once looked or Arnav for support.
Arnavji why dont you substantiate what I am saying. You were forced to make the phone call and the gifts, if she did I am sorry I dont remember exactly.
Arnav is hoping that with all the confrontation, Shyam will be exhausted and will slip something and that is when ASR will pounce on him.
We see Shyam doing that with the character dheela thing, so who knows?

2)Khushi was asked by ASR does she have proof to prove that VLR is the kidnapper...she has i am sure.....whatever she meant by that....she actually has belief but it may not be enuf in front of a strong adversary like VLR....thats where she erred...she thot that she would be able to prove him kidnapper without having to bring out the "ginona" sach of who he is.....
3)VLR succeeds in branding her a mad woman based on her ramblings....becos he has most of his bases covered. The one base that is uncovered, will not be required, according to him and so he gloats....BECOS IN ALL THIS THE MOTIVE TO IMPLICATE HIM IS NOT OUT...A LAwyer's first thot
4)NK will find it difficult to mention the one thing that will implicate VLR without Khushi's permission
5) Failing in her objective, Khushi will do what she promised VLR, Hum aur bhi gir sakthe hain...she will go on to blurt the entire story, the unmentionable in her view drawing attention to her honour...
6) That will signal the downfall of VLR- the first step....a overconfident VLR will accuse her of a poor character..Thinking he has everyone lulled into buying his side of the story...

I saw the new promo. Khushi tells everything including how he cheated her family and got engaged to her. Shyam tries to turn the tables at her saying it is she who tried to entrap him and when that didn't work she is trying to blame him. At this Arnav seems to have had enough because he gives a tight slap to Shyam.

ReplyDelete1) seemed like the CVs were trying to say - you can love a lot of people but one person will always trump over the others - Anji going, i love you KKG but 'my husband strongest, truthfull-est, best-est!' - KKG going I love you Di but i love my husband more, so have to tell all, Mami going - i trusted you KKG and Damadji but My son, Arnav is all imp.
2) So i get the feeling that one of two things are happening - the couple have either taken the route of testing waters by KKG putting the truth in front of the family while ODB observes the effects this has on them as the 'proofs' are neither concrete not in their possession. OR ODG could not hold back and blurted all out before ODB had a chance to collect and present the proof to the family (remember ODG spoke up after the insistent prodding by mami)
3) also I don’t think ODB was quiet without a reason – see if you don’t know about the ‘ffaatttaaakkk’ – then to the general observer – it will look like ODB is also finding out for the first time and may not be trusting his wife – so the suspense is kept – Of course ODB will not tolerate any accusation on his wife’s character – so far its only about who kidnapped ODB, which could be a misunderstanding on ODG’s part (as per the family)– as soon as TF says a word against her character – he will get it!!

The truth will set you free!
I just saw the promo. First thoughts as I finished watching it.
1. Khushi has been the screen hiding Shyam's ugly truth from all the Raizadas. It looks like she is standing across from them but just as she turns towards Shyam and he begins to accuse her, it is as though she is backed by the enitre Raizada clan whereas Shyam is the outsider / the outcast who stands alone.
2. Chakravyuh - With Arnav and Anjali at the centre or Anjali at the centre supported by Arnav and flanked all around by the Raizada family. Khushi stands up front as if leading the formation. She has decided to be the bait to reel in Shyam into the chakravyuh of lies that he has been spinning and getting him to trip up or get caught in his own web.
Arnav stands back and lets his queen lead - The king does not come to play until the end. It is his Queen who goes out to fight for him. Arnav stands back further giving Shyam the illusion that Khushi is alone and helpless, that it will be her word against his and he gets overconfident because if he has just outsmated her he can do it again. (Maybe the eye ishaara exchange was Arnav confirming with Khushi if she was ready to risk her all by being the bait)
3. Lull the enemy into thinking your defenses are weak and once he climbs over the hill and reaches the point of no return go all out and attack him from all sides crippling him.
And this is needed to shatter the wall that surrounds Anjali. She needs to hear it crack with every brick thrown but finally it will be the word of her brother that will deal the critical blow and the glass wall of happiness held together by love and trust will shatter with the words from the man whom she trusts above all.
No one else will be believed, whatever maybe the evidence shown regardless of how close they may be.
Arnav looks up at Shyam just as he says "Khushi you entrapped me in the web of your love" - Checkmate Shyam! Arnav kept giving you the rope in the hope that you would hang yourself and you did. You told him you loved Khushi with all your heart and soul and she was your junoon on the wedding night. You were lying then or you lie now. Either way you are a liar! (Recall to convince Mami for Payash how Arnav said, you need to tackle a subject with a person in a manner that they understand or relate to)
And Arnav will exact punishment for the wounds inflicted on his loved ones!
During a negotiation, it is oft said "He who speaks first loses". Silence is a display of thoughts being assimilated, reactions being observed and decisions being taken.

Loved ur post.....In great parts we saw the episode exactly as u have described it.....its just that the recycled expressions of Arnav made a superlative episode an ordinary one.....purely from the perspective of execution.....At an important juncture of the story, the use of BDs and seperately canned shots jarred.

I have admired this story telling majorly beocs its narrative connects every significant scene in some way in the progress of the story...That to me, is something most narratives are not successful at...I love that this serial is just not a collage of episodes/instances....its moving yet is deeply connected to the very beginning of this narrative
The PH is confident of its product....i have no doubt it is a superlative product....but its important a large part of ur message reached people in the first shot...effective communication needs earnest attempts to reach the target audience.

On re-watch, I actually don't agree the execution was off ... except for Barun's expressions, that too a few times, not all.
I saw the episode last night without reading any updates and what struck me was exactly what I've written ... Khushi went ahead with the entire story, and Arnav watched Shyam all through ...
Look at the episode from another perspective ...
What if Khushi told Arnav outside that NO, she DIDN'T have any proof ... Arnav said, okay, we don't say anything about my kidnapping yet ... Shyam is clever, so we need to get him to spill the truth himself. First you tell me the entire story, after that we will confront him, you accuse, I won't say anything, let's see if he trips ...
But Mami spills the truth about the kidnapping before they're ready for it ... note that both times when Mami talked about the kidnapping, Arhi exchanged looks, one was yesterday when she nodded at him, and one was today when Anjali asked him to confirm that he was kidnapped ... only when he nodded, did Khushi start talking ...
As Shweths pointed out, once Khushi started, she never looked towards Arnav for support ... she got corroboration of facts from the PEOPLE INVOLVED - Mami, about their investigations, Anjali about the blood group, NK about his support ... THEY were the people she had to convince, not Arnav ... while Arnav just watched Shyam like a hawk, with a few looks at Anjali to make sure she was okay.
This is what Arhi had planned ... and they knew they DID NOT have proof ... so they needed to make Shyam make his own noose to hang himself ...
Shweths, I saw the LNMDJ scene you posted ... same writers, they will go EXACTLY the same way ... I wouldn't be surprised if the thappad scene plays out a little differently and Shyam exposes himself completely before he gets that thappad ...
The other thing that i remembered is based on Sandy's sudarshan chakra(modern day CD -disk plate) analysis....why did Khushi not mention to Di, do u remember that u had a CD given by VLR, which had wierd sounds and these were the very same sounds that Arnav heard in his captivity.....i know diff to connect these two as both have not heard the other yet.....it is an imp aspect...hain na?

DeleteBesides, there is lots of circumstantial evidence, which is what Mami is silently adding up ... you can see it when Khushi talks about the phone call that came just when they were about to call the police, the gifts that came just after Nani and Mami raised a hue and cry ... showing that someone inside the house knew when people were getting worried and acted accordingly ...
At the moment, Shyam knows Khushi loves Arnav, but he's not sure about Arnav's feelings for Khushi, because last he knew was that Arnav didn't trust Khushi's word which was why she needed Shyam to vouch for her at all.
Now Arnav is still keeping Shyam in the dark about his support to Khushi, hence the complete silence during the episode ...
What I also liked ... when Mami started talking about Khushi accusing Shyam she first started off by very calmly discussing the tapes ... she was NOT accusing Khushi at all there ... and Shyam saw that, that's why he so quickly jumped in ...
The screenplay was actually very good yesterday and so was the acting in terms of everyones's reactions ... especially Sanaya, Abhaas and Mamiji ... Shyaam's reaction when Khushi tells Anjali, I'm sorry, but I have to tell the truth today even if it hurts you ... those expressions were a dead giveaway ... and Arnav was watching him there ...
Even Payal had the appropriate expressions ... I agree completely with Jaya here ... it was worth watching each and every expression for once, because they all were appropriate and told their own story ...
Barun was the only disappointment ... he has to buck up, the rest have taken the show to another level in his absence.

Even I think Khushi told him she has no proof that Shyam is behind Arnav's kidnapping. Even better Arnav
also says he figured it out (pls from the KN's phone)but it is broken now and he has no other proof. So Arnav would have said ok then we will hide it for now.(Plan A).
Then Khushi says but Mami knows about it and she will bring it up plus they cannot keep Di in the dark anymore because Shyam left her tied hand and foot in the middle of the road so no trusting what he will do
to Di. So if it comes up she will lay it all bare - high risk(Plan B). Arnav is not happy but knowing mami he knows there is a high chance that it will all come up. Plan B could explain Arnav's anger when he looked at Shyam walking into RM.
Best is Khushi has accused Shyam and just keeps repeating he is a dhokebaaz and she knows it but goes no further. She is getting lambasted from all ends about how she can accuse devtaa samaan damadji and pati parmeshwar.
I hope in the middle of the kidnapping expose, Anjali denies everything and starts listing every incident where she saw them together in the interim and ends with asking why did Khushi bring raksha dhaga for a man she so despises and let it light the batti big and clear in bitwa's brain.
NK's lips are zipped too by Khushi on mentioning the other aspect (that NK showing zipping
his lips scene was when he came to know finally about this angle).
And at this time Payal Jiji steps up to defend Khushi but Khushi silences her with a look like she did at the restaurant.
Again Shyam accuses Khushi of having no proof and oversteps his bound and accuses her of entrapping him.
Khushi never planned to bring up Shyam being PG and loving her. She knew it would shatter Anjali and
mean exposing payal and G family which khushi would have never wanted). Has this come up in the epi? or

And Khushi has proof for the LU piece - the signed divorced papers and (hopefully) a CD of the poolside discussion
that Mami overheard. (Rekha CD if any will be this and it will also help Mami connect doubts. Mandir ki

Anjali when time comes will only believe what comes from Shyam's mouth and that will when the wall
around her shatters).
Shyam will again try to say she entrapped him into saying that and he is the victim. This will be the point he will get caught because he will forget that he gloated to Arnav about how much he had a junoon for
Khushi and how Rani Sahiba was the last thing between them.It will also tell Arnav that forget Rani Sahiba
being in between, there never was a thing between Shyam and Khushi.
And this point about Shyam being entrapped being rubbish also has proof - Arnav himself. And in Raizada
masion, "Sab ki apni soch hai magar hota wahi hai jo bhai chaahate hain".
Shyamu ki shaamath aa rahe hai aur saath main ArHi ki zindagi main bahaar laa rahi hai.
Anjali will disbelieve it all. Khushi for blaming her devta samaan husband. Arnav for slapping him and throwing him out of the house (please do Arnav).
So the whole cycle of taunt Khushi begins but DM and Arnav are on her side now and it will spiral upto a point wherein the next tidal wave to hit will be the truth behind the marriage. I hope here is a massive bro sis confrontation that leads up to this.
Sandy, agree with you about Arhi ... yes, they had a plan A and plan B, and they had to put plan B into action without much preparation.

Payal will tell about the engagement also, we saw Shyam tell Khushi that show us the engagement pictures ... again forgetting Anjali saw the ring, did she ever see Khushi wearing the same ring?
Though I have no hopes from Anjali ... she will be the last person to accept - the others will all accept the truth before her.
Utkarshaji said on SBB that wait and see how the truth emerges - it will be a dhamaka ...
The final nail in the coffin will be Shyam saying Khushi tried to trap him ... which is what Armav knows for a fact is false, plus completely different from Shyam told Arnav himself ... and like you said, Shyam tacitly admits by saying this that he lied to Arnav earlier about Khushi loving him ... Shyam's entire truth will emerge, and with it, the truth of the forced marriage ...
And that, more than anything else will cause Anjali to break down ... that her own brother kept such a big secret from her.
I said it before, am saying it again ... choice between believing Shyam or Khushi - Shyam wins hands down.

Which is also why the truth had to wait till this time to emerge ... until and unless Arnav was convinced of Khushi's truth, Khushi was doomed if she brought it out ... no one would have believed her. She would have been thrown out of RM, so would Payal ... end of story.

It will be like not just putting the noose around your neck but in your hurry to kick out you actually make it a knot tighter suffocating yourself.
He knew ArHi had had to marry under duress, he knew how devasteated the family was and yyet he kep quiet. He stayed on with Anjali while knowing he was the cause andnever bothered to clear Arnav's perception causing him hurt. Mami ne heelwa se 2 dadnwa nahi maara na toh dekhna!!! Ya even better hat perfume snake sent her has "pineapple" flavour. She can just dunk the whole thing on his head :D

From my understanding of Anjali’s character, her first concern would be Chhotte. And this is not the first time she has seen infidelity at close quarters. Anjali has the example of her mother before her. The siblings may have reacted and learned differently from life’s lessons, but they are similar in one thing, their concern for each other. Arhi has absolutely hogged the limelight for a while, and we have forgotten the bro- sis relation. This is the sister who stood up for her brother through all his unpopular decisions.That too, when she never believed in those decisions. Be it live-in with La or surprise wedding with Khushi, Anjali was the first one to support Arnav. And if Anjali is willing to sacrifice her happiness for Chhotte’s happiness, there is no question of her having to choose between bro & hubby.
What I picked up yesterday from the tue episode. The distribution of loyalties as they all come and sit in the living room.
The Raizadas are all on one side.
Payal stands with Khushi.
Shyam is all alone.
I am not saying this will be the verdict.
But all through yesterday and that promo, I love the fact that Chhote is standing by Anjali.When the revelation of the engagement happens also, his first concern is Di. Because she is the one who will get hit the most with this revelation. He knows his Khushi has been strong through all this and he will make it up to her. But right now he is worried about Anjali. That should be how it is. And the moment VLR starts smearing Khushi he gives him a slap. This is doing full justice to ASR’s characterization.

DeleteI am wondering if this is how it is actually going to be. Both of them bringing up arguments and counter- arguments with absolutely no evidence to their claims. Won’t Khushi atleast go up and check for the laptop, papers in her room and PP. They may not be there, but is she even going to check?
Don’t know if VLR has anything else up his sleeve. Maybe he has recorded some convo and will play it. But going by the way Payal also put her foot down, I feel there is no place for any MUs whatsoever. The whole truth is going to come out.
So then, what will be the verdict? How will the Raizadas decide on whom to believe? If this current wave of sense and sensibility prevails, and with NK and Payal going all out to support Khushi it seems like they’ll have to believe her. But how can she prove that Shyam is the kidnapper?
This is where I think she might fail.
How is Anji going to react?
She will agree to everything else but may not be able to accept that Shyam kidnapped Chhotte. And now that this dirty secret is out, Shyam and Khushi cannot stay under the same roof. Anjali has always wanted to move out. And she might declare that this is the most sensible thing to do right now. She knows Chhotte loves Khushi.( She is the one who pointed it out to him always. 1) Way back when he was worried about K and wouldn’t accept it she called up and found out for him. 2) After her accident, she tells him not to delay declaring his love. 3) Post hypo scene, in front of the mirror where she shows him how much he loves Khushi.) At the same time, she cannot leave her husband. Anjali will insist that she has to move out.
If this happens, Khushi will have to take a 180 deg turn. She cannot allow Anjali to leave with VLR, knowing how dangerous he is.
For all you know,
Anjali may not have to choose between bro and hubby- she’ll choose both
ASR may not have to choose between sis and love- he may not be given a chance
Khushi may have to choose between ASR and Anjali- and she’ll choose…….Anjali!

DeleteSu, enjoyed both your posts ... what I feel is that once Shyam is exposed as being a liar and the whole Shyam-Khushi engagement thing comes out, then he's on the back foot immediately. Then Mami's view on the divorce talk also undergoes a sea change ... Khushi did it to trap Shyam ... and SHYAM GOT TRAPPED ... Mami heard him say he would happily divorce Anjali for Khushi's sake.
Then maybe we get Rekha's CD coming into play ... although I would dearly love for Shyam to be trapped with his own tooth locket and have to say the damning words of the password in his own voice ... the WILL and the password is his deathknell ... he loved Khushi and the fake will in his possession ...
And once Shyam is shown to be the kidnapper and potential killer, he cannot stay in RM any more ... not even a delusional Anjali will allow it. Her Chotey is much more important to her ... she will not let even her husband stay when he put her brother's life on the line ...
So Shyam is out of RM at least for some time. And he comes back later in the show as full fledged villain, maybe with a blast from the past ... my eternal Shiddat!

There are 3 major events that have been kept a secret in the show so far.
1. Engagement
2. Marriage
3. Divorce
1.Engagement. Shyam- Khushi. Secret known to Guptas. Now it is out in the open.
2.Marriage. Arnav- Khushi. Secret known to Shyam and NK to an extent probably. Will it come out this IPK night?
3.Divorce. Shyam- Anjali. Secret known to Shyam/ NK- Khushi/ Anjali- mami.
Will this secret remain so and come out much much later? NK is supposed to be leaving the show soon. If so, will it be Shyam- Anjali- Mami on one side and Khushi alone on the other side. She played the divorce drama only to get the Will signed. And now the divorce papers are with Shyam. Will she even consider this an info important enough to be shared with ASR?
However, I know it is highly unlikely that mami will keep shut about the divorce. So divorce also will be discussed in all probability.
Su, going by the SBB today - I just read the written update - mami talks about the divorce too, so everything is out in the open. And going by the way Khushi is on her satyavadi path, I think everything will be out within the next two episodes.

I wanted a really good, clever villain...he may not be perfect but off late they've done a really pod job with his character.

Actually they all were right in character from big eyed nani, gasping TQ, meek Payal, mu phat mami, brows narrowed waiting for bhai's decision Akash to Khushi who is just not as vile as Shyaam or smart as Arnav and in all her honesty and goodness of heart blurts out everything...
Arnav will speak when it comes to something he knows the absolute truth about - Shyaam lusting after Khushi...and if the conversation goes in that direction he's not going to bother with words...evidently a right cross is better than a defense councilor!
Anjali..the thing is she's done the water works and gasping bit so many times that the effect is rendered somewhat useless now. She just doesn't evoke sympathy or pity anymore although in this huge mess she's the biggest victim. She's pregnant with VLR's kid- that is seriously messed up...so for once she's got the right to go all TQ on us but too bad she cried wolf sooooo many times that audience is impatient with her rather than sympathetic.
Payal...welll she has a chance to redeem herself after the whole glass of milk and deer caught in headlight expression. I hope she isn't all stuttering and useless making the situation worse! Although if she gets involved won't the whole he tricked me into getting engaged thing come up?
NK- haaayyyyeeee he and mami are my favorite....both are totally transparent....as much as i love Arhi together they're way too complicated as individuals i like NK...sweet, fun, can be firm and rock solid support.

Why isn't Khushi telling everyone about the most damning fact of all? VLR tied her up and left her on the road to be run over? thats all she really needs to get Arnav to go all Hulk on Shyaam....

Gargs, Shyam tying up Khushi and leaving her on the road is hearsay ... Shyam will deny it and produce a Mr Khurana to swear that Shyam was in his car and the accident happened, and that Khushi is lying that it was him. Of course Arnav knows Khushi was dragged away and tied up, but Arnav is just collecting all the pieces now ... he is on maun vrath.

mona, Read them aloud as is.. then the words will make sense. SMS lingo uses phonics.. but mishti does not use that.. she/he uses garbled words to try and obscure the meaning.. but if you read a spoiler after the scene airs, it makes much more sense. :D

ReplyDelete- so its a clear battle between TF & ODG with the judges on the side - ODG'd word against TF's - and the verdict is clear too - kidnapping could have been forgiven by ODB but one word against his wife and that's it, TF looses big time!
interesting to note that all others have the same expression through out the 20 odd seconds except ODB and TQ - they share a look of shock when kidnapping is mentioned (so yes TQ cant stand a treat on her brothers life) and then when TF mentions the 'jaal main pasana' type dialogue - TQ breaks down and ODB raises - in anger and disbelief (and support of his wife!) way to go, yipee!
wonder if our poor boy Akash will get a chance to prove his worth as an actor - will he be given dialogues and will he get angry at payal for hiding something so big? What do you ladies feel - should he be angry?
(I for one am all for it - and like Gagri says though TQ is the victim cant sympathize with an ever crying sorry figure - same way cant forgive Payal for being so caught up in her own life as never to have noticed the troubles her sister was facing!!)

It seems they wondered what to do with Payal and then hit upon the idea of Akash! I found that hard to believe,since the whole ODB-ODG wedding happened with the blackmail of Payal's wedding. So I

and personally I think the Password will come into play at some point for that is the biggest proof of how creepy creepwa is!
As for the terrace confrontation - is this not it? i felt this was it - as to attempts to murder - don't think they will come uo just as yet - ASR's kidnapping and the engagement will be enough for now
with all this talk of a 'twist' i keep feeling something new will come up - maybe ODB's past - could we be getting a bast from the past? (as per DIa's shiddat)

Secondly - why a second marriage - yes the first lacked the glitz but it was proper and complete - she is his lawfully wedded wife and they both know so - then why the need for a second wedding? - that to me sounds like righting a wrong - the first wedding to me was a right that does not need a rewrite! Plus a second wedding raises the question of legality of them 'living in together' for so long!
mona, that was not proper and full.. no priest, no witnesses, no pherey even.. yes, in her mind she is now his... but for everyone else, it was like.. he said they are married, so they are. full stop.
Deletethey used it for the england visa.. saying ASR's name cleared formalities.. but otherwise, no official matter has ever been shown using khushi as arnav's "wife" . maybe, because ASR said so, it is now official... but in my eyes, they are not married.
khushi walking out of RM is something i cannot envision.. but maybe, because khushi reminds anjali of TF's misdeeds, and considering her pregnant state, khushi can stay away (from RM, NOT from arnav)for anjali's peace of mind.. or something something... i'm not too keen on prediction.
they lived together for so long.. she told everyone at laxmi nagar that she was married.. so maybe the second wedding will be only for family... just, with full riti rivaj. i've seen such weddings before on TV dramas.
