29/6 - Epi 286 ... Roller Coaster

Brand new post for Friday and the weekend :)

What a roller coaster!!!
Shyam finds out almost immediately that Khushi knows, has known all along and has been playing him like a master :)) Funny, I didn't feel any sympathy when he was so upset about Khushi using his "love" to trick him! :))

Khushi-NK split up to find Arnav ... uh oh ...

Mami tries to convince Anjali ... Anjali adamant ... her husband beshtest!

Arnav - and the mysterious Lallan surfaces ... and how Shyam planned to kill him ...

I thought the fight scene was beginning to drag ... and the whole trying to set the place on fire with water thing happened ... and I couldn't stop laughing at the goons' expressions and their complete shock ... hakka bakka reh gaye ... =)) =)) =))

And Bitwa's smirk ... and his "Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada ..." hayyeeeee!!!! NOW ASR is truly back!!!

And then he decides, enough is enough, if she's here, I need to get out ... right now ... :)) as though he was happy staying there as long as Khushi wasn't there, but now that she's here, of course his plans changed ... :))

And Shyam confronts Khushi ...

And what was that last shot through the trees??? Did Arnav overhear the confrontation between them? No matter ... he knows that was Khushi who pulled the water for kerosene stunt :"> 

Oh, Payal is so damn stupid ... all this while she kept quiet about Khushi and Shyam, and now she reacts as though there really was an affair between them! What an idiot!!!

Precap ... Oh shit!!!! We have to wait for Monday now!!!

I loved the episode ... but found it hilarious in parts where it should have been deadly serious :)) unless the cv's intended it that way, of course ;)

Shyam continues his frantic investigation and finds that most of the papers he signed are missing ... smart Khushi, leaving absolutely nothing to chance now! Abhaas was damn good, Shyam slowly and steadily realising something is very wrong ...
Has she taken the altered will papers or the divorce papers?
Then he pulls out everything from the drawer ... and finds the duplicate tooth locket ... and Shyam is really, really smart ... puts two and two together, right from Khushi's very first confrontation where she said she wants Arnav'  false signatures .... where the whole deception started ...
the kheer scene ... where she first began enticing him ...
raksha dhaga ... when he started falling into her honey-laden trap ... and allowed her to get his pen drive ...
And finally how she snapped the trap shut ... by making him sign on the divorce papers, and something else ...
Shyam is the smartest ... he did NOT misunderstand Khushi's true motives for an instant here ... no giving her the benefit of doubt ... no sir!!! He knew exactly what she'd been up to ... and how completely he'd been had!!!
Furious Shyam!!!! Still sanskari though ... Khushijiiiii!!!

Khushi-NK hot on the trail, but they have to split up to cover ground faster ... with a word of caution from her Lakshman, Khushi is off ...

Arnav waits for more goons ...

Mami-Anjali ... Mami still trying to convince Anjali ... Anjali now in total angry denial ... 'you have misunderstood ... okay, I'll call him, and everything will be clear ...' while Mami watches her tearfully, her daughter-like niece's world is collapsing around her ears ...

A furious frustrated Shyam orders Arnav's hideout to be burnt to the ground right now ... no more playing around, he wants him dead.
How will he get out of the accidental/natural death clause now? Okay, he's not thinking any more ... Shyam has totally lost it! Girl gone ... now wealth may also go because girl has gone to the right place ... and time is running out ...

Khushi reaches the hideout and hides just as Lallan and his goons arrive ... and they show her creeping out ... more later ;)

Arnav and Lallan and goons ... attitude back, find your men yourself ... they do, and go off, leaving Arnav a little confused ... why didn't he react? Why did they leave so quietly?

Goons emerge ... and Khushi recognises chief KN, now dignified by the name of Rocky ... and confused as they start moving the jerrycans inside ... her phone rings ... but fortunately Rocky is in a hurry ... as they carry the cans inside ... Khushi switches her phone off ...

Much to Anjali's consternation ... Khushi is also not answering her calls ... 'what's happening?!' And now Anjali's worry is building up ... Mami tries to calm her, but Anjali is getting hysterical ...

And the goons give Arnav a bath, much to his mystification, as he smells the liquid they're pouring on him ... and wonders ...
At first watch, I thought he smelt the kerosene and realised that he was intended to be the main item on the barbecue ... on second watch of course, I realised he was wondering ...'WT*, why are they giving me a bath?!'  =))
Bitwa, that was on your beautiful biwi's orders ... Rabba ve is coming up ... and apni Mona was very clear, no Rabba ve without getting cleaned up! =)) 

And Lallan lights the match ... again on first watch, I though Arnav would do something heroic like put it off with his tongue a la Aamir Khan ... then I watched with horror as the match actually fell to the floor ...  :-? :-/ :-o ... and then I went :. #:-S  =)) at the goons ...  and at Arnav's smirk :"> :"> :">

Anjali continued to go hysterical, Mami tries to console her .... 'You talk to him once..." Anjali can't reach Shyam or Khushi ... Payal comes in and Anjali clutches her, her last hope, 'you tell Mamiji ... this is all a  mistake ... Khushiji aur inke beech mein ... chee!!!'
And Payal goes :-o and drops the milk ... and Anjali stares at her horrified ... her worst fears confirmed ... and drops to the sofa in a faint ...

Goons discover kerosene has been switched for water ... and they wonder how this miracle happened ... Rocky says he checked himself, but Lallan is furious ... 'find out who did this!!!'

And Arnav Singh Raizada gives his famous smirk ... this time a mixture of dawning realisation, pride, joy and love ... his one and only biwi ..."Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada ' ... that's who. =D> 

Outside Khushi smiles ... her plan worked ... thank you, DM :) :) :)
And we see fb's of Khushi quickly changing the kerosene for water, and praying to DM ... now all yours, Devi Maiyya ... you can take over here :)

Watched the rest of the episode with wide grin plastered to my face ... and Shyam's frustration was more cause for joy, icing on the cake being fiery Khushi as she finally gives him back, no need for pretense now, she's saved the property, and now she's saved Arnav from a fiery end ... she doesn't have to pretend any more, she can let her disgust and hatred show ...

Arnav quickly switches from pride and love to concern ...
"but why is she here?" well, duh, you sent her your coordinates, remember? Didn't you expect her to land up?
"I hope she's safe," ... double duh,Khushi gets into pickles as fast as you rescue her from them ... safe? not a chance!
"I hope she hasn't come alone ..." how many times have you told her not to act alone ... and how many times has she listened to you, Arnav? Got your answer?
Yep, he did ... "agar voh bahar aa hi gayi hai, toh main ab andar nahin reh sakta ..." she's outside, she's definitely in a pickle, she's definitely alone ... time to leave ... bye, goons, nice knowing you, thanks for the hospitality and all that, but biwi needs me, I need to go now ...
And goons agree, so they go to him one by one, ready to get pitoed ... =))

Loved the K-S confrontation ... starting with scared Khushi and furious Shyam ... his lines had me laughing ... the biter bit, caught in his own trap and furious about it ...
"hiding your brains behind that innocent face ..." wasn't that exactly what he always does and is still doing ...
"you dared to hatch such a plan ... and that too, against me?" his pride completely shattered ... he's the master planner and manipulator, and he just got completely had by a slip of a girl ...
And he's still not over her ... "If I'd known you were so smart, I would have loved you even more ..." And Khushi's fear fades into disgust and anger ... this man is a lost cause, he is evil!!!

And he recounts her own words to her, and how she fooled him ... gave him lies and deceit ...

And she's had enough ... the pot calling the kettle black??? Yes, I lied, I deceived ... you!!! The biggest liar and cheat of all!!!"
And she knows why he did it ... for money ... much as he tries to deny it ... only for her ...
But she's not buying it any more ... 'you made me get those signatures, and then planned to kill him ... you thought I'd sit back and watch?!'

And Shyam grabs her ... not in love this time, but in anger ... no way that can be mistaken ... and spills all his plans ... yes, he kidnapped Arnav, planned to kill Arnav, and if it wasn't for the will, he would have already ... and none of her 'Save Arnav' plans would have worked ...  and they won't work any more ...

28/6 - Epi 285 ... House of Cards contd

Am out for a few hours, so just in case we cross 200 ;) As we're already at 186.

28/6 - Epi 285 ... House of Cards

Thursday 28th June

Anjali's house of cards starts collapsing ... she tries to prop it up with sheer disbelief ... she will not believe it ...

Shyam's house of cards starts collapsing ... Khushi was playing him all along ... Shyam really is a shatir dimaag and a very alert one too ...

Khushi's house of cards starts collapsing ... she managed to keep Shyam fooled but just about ... and for just about long enough ...

Kidnappers' house of cards starts collapsing ... and their captive is ready to escape ... first the villain of the show was a joker, now his goons are the jokers ... they made me laugh today, especially the way the first guy was hunting for his captive :))

Last note - now three people in the house have seen Khushi and Shyam together in suspicious circumstances ... Anjali, Mami and Nani ...
And tomorrow Arnav had better rescue his damsel in distress and have a fultoo fight with Shyam ... much more satisfying than bashing up sundry goons and Mr. Lallan ... Lallan didn't even make an appearance today :(

And hopefully today was the last day Creepwa gets within touching distance of Khushi!!!

The major point of the episode today was Anjali being confronted with the truth about her husband ... that too, in front of Devi Maiyya, in Her own temple ... and hence my title ... Anjali's house of cards, painfully and carefully constructed and protected from the slightest blow, is actually so fragile, that it will tumble and fall to pieces with the smallest breeze. Because it is built on no foundation whatsoever. Shyam admitted in his confrontation with Arnav that he had never loved Anjali ever, his marriage, his show of love and the last three years had all been a complete lie. Once he admitted that, this house of cards was bound to fall sooner or later.
If things had been different - if Shyam had been a normal, regular kind of guy, who had been in a regular happy marriage, but had slipped and fallen for a beautiful face ... there might have been a chance for redemption, a chance to save the ShyAnj marriage. But when it was apparently based on a lie, even before the advent of Khushi into their lives, it's clear the marriage had a limited shelf life from the start.

And Daljeet was very good in the scene with Mami ... as Anjali's carefully constructed house of cards starts falling to pieces, Anjali stretches out her arms around it desperately to save it from collapsing ... she won't believe Mami, she refuses to believe Mami ... Mami must have misunderstood, must have misheard ... because what Mami is saying CANNOT be the truth. She, Anjali, will not allow it to be the truth! Even as Mami tries to convince her, she just refuses to believe it ... "you heard wrong!" And she doesn't even want to hear it ... complete denial ...
Liked the way Mami tried to make Anjali think, without actually trying to convince her ... and Anjali remembered all the times she saw Shyam with Khushi ... but Anjali is still not ready to accept it ...
"You are mistaken ... that's it!!!"

A very natural reaction ... for someone who believes in her husband so much, worships him so completely and more importantly, lives in her own bubble ... her perfect world ... Daljeet did well in that scene.

The rest of the episode - the beginning - Khushi has played Shyam expertly ... ever since she found out about his deceit, he lost her trust completely, and Shyam knew the only way to get back into her good books, was to win back her trust. That was the first and most important step, before he could hope to win her heart (DDR).

That's also where Arnav always scored over Shyam ... Khushi trusted Arnav almost from the start ... and definitely from the sangeet challenge ... when she unhesitatingly agreed to accept whatever he asked in case she lost the challenge ... that's why she went along with Arnav's silence over the reason for their marriage ... because she trusted that he would never ask something that she wasn't willing to give, she trusted that he had a good reason for the marriage ... she trusted him to stay with him in the same room, even the same bed ...

But she could never trust Shyam after his deceit ... and with good reason ... if he had succeeded in his plan to marry her, it would have been illegal, bigamy, and she would have been completely ruined ... and she knew he was prepared to do that ...
So Shyam had a long road to try to win back her trust, he knew it was an uphill battle, he didn't know it was an impossible task ... Khushi might have been prepared to give Shyam the benefit of doubt in terms of Anjali, but she would not and will never trust him again ... ever.
But he thinks he's finally succeeded ... that's why he even signed the papers without reading them completely ... to show her he trusts her, and she can trust him ... because he is ready to do everything she asks him to do ...

Nani is the next family member to see Shyam alone with Khushi ... Shyam covers as usual ...
But Nani has also seen NK with Khushi in her room ... and later she sees NK Khushi leaving together ... I still think Nani will be on the fence here, but will support Anjali outwardly.

Nani, bless her, also reminds Khushi to open Arnav's present, which Khushi is least interested in, she knows it's not from Arnav ... Shyam wants her to open it ... because it's from him ... :(
That did not look like the Teej sari ... it looked more like the sari Arnav chose for Khushi :)) Shyam is delusional!
And Khushi finally finds the note, crumples it ... and notices the writing on the back ... :))

"Laad Governer"
And Khushi knows instantly he's sent it ... Rabba ve ... :"> and her face lights up with a radiant smile, even while her eyes fill with tears ... he's sent her a message ... which means he's alive and well ... and she clutches the note tight and holds it close to her heart ...

Loved the oh-so ironical juxtaposition - Shyam's gloating face ... tomorrow he will oversee Arnav's final destruction ... his dreams of getting Arnav's property as well as his wife are within his grasp ... or so he thinks ...
and Khushi's tears of joy ... finally a link to her husband ... a message, a clue she can follow to find him ... just after she's succeeded in getting his property back from Shyam as well ...
Both with their backs to each other, both with completely opposing dreams ... Shyam's house of cards has started to tumble down around him, and he gloats in his ignorant world of dreams  ... as Khushi starts to build her dreams again ... of getting Arnav back ... 
And she crumples the note tightly in her hand as Shyam asks her what's wrong ... and tells her to wait till tomorrow ...
And as he leaves, Khushi shuts the door quickly behind him and looks at the precious note again ... what clue has he sent? It has to be the address of the place ... he's nearby ...finally a way to find him ...
and sleuthing done, she looks back at the words he's written, as though it's the sweetest love letter ever written, and smiles happily through her tears ..."he's calling himself that now ... :) "

And Shyam is ready to kill Arnav now ... dunno what has changed that he now thinks he can get away with it ... but whatever ... who cares ... we're ready for the showdown ...

Mami-Anjali - Anjali in denial ... her house of cards tumbling down around her as she tries frantically to prop it back up.

NK-Shyam ... Shyam's antennae up ... it doesn't take long for him to get suspicious, even though NK does a good job ... paon bhaari hai, paon so gaya ... dragging his foot with the incriminating tooth pendant under it ...
The mistake he made was to run to Khushi's room as soon as Shyam's back was turned ... instead of continuing to limp till Shyam was safely out of sight ... with shatir Shyam, you can't let down your guard for a single moment. Khushi's carefully constructed web of lies starting to unravel ...

Arnav takes down Goon number One ...

NK-Khushi - Khushi makes NK shut the door quickly and shows him the note ... this is where Arnav is.
Cute :) NK asks "Laad Governer?" and Khushi shyly admits that's what she calls him ... :"> and NK's look of 'only you could think of such a name' ...
And Khushi has already found out the address ..
NK checks about the papers ... yes, Khushi got the signatures, so Arnav's property is safe now too ... Shyam has lost ...he tricked Khushi and Arnav, and Khushi has returned the favour ... now Shyam has no right on anything of Arnav's ... unsaid, including his wife :)
Khushi put away the property papers and the locket ... but kept the divorce paper with her ... now what is that going to mean?
And off they go to find Arnav ...

Arnav takes down Goon number Two ... no wonder BS was complaining he has been doing only fight scenes the entire week!
Happy though I am to see BS and Arnav back, the fight scenes were the only ones which dragged ... too many!!!

NK-Khushi leave - but not before making Shyam very suspicious indeed ... and shatir Shyam checks out Khushi's last phone call immediately and knows exactly where she's going and why ...

KN to Shyam - aap yahan aa rahe hain? Kuch order karun kya? =)) 

Nani saw Khushi with Shyam, she also saw Khushi leave hurriedly with NK ... again, will Nani be more impartial than either Anjali or Mami?  And how much of this will matter if Arnav is on Khushi's side ... which he will if he knows the truth, but will he know the entire truth?

Precap ... Shyam corners Khushi ... alone ... where is NK? And much more importantly, where is Arnav?!

27/6 - Epi 284 ... Hoist With His Own Petard?

Wednesday 27th June

Just hope it's a Wonderful Wednesday ... not Woeful Wednesday ...

Quick update - Khushi cons Shyam into agreeing to divorce Anjali ... her aim being to get him to sign his estate back to Arnav ... or some such thing ... need to check the paper again, but it appointed Anjali as the Sole Executor.
Mamiji overhears Khushi tell Shyam to divorce Anjali, and now's a good time because Arnav is away. And Mami stops using her brain to question why Khushi would talk like this when they both know Arnav is not away, he's been kidnapped ... and she rushes to tell Anjali straight away.

Khushi-NK discuss whether this is the right path ... Khushi remembers Arnav being beaten up and carried away ... his life is in danger ... so she has to go ahead with this ... she just hopes Di doesn't get to know about it.

Arnav challenges his KN's again ... he's going to break free. And the KN's are dumb ... or just awed by the ASR persona ... they actually believe it.
Has Arnav realised they don't want to kill him for some unknown reason, so he's ready to take pangas with them? And does he have so much faith in his biwi, that she'll find him soon enough? She hasn't even found his chit yet ... she's too busy sleuthing :(

Mami goes to the temple where Anjali is blissfully sitting in the Aarti for her 'voh' ...

While Khushi has the papers ready for Shyam to sign ... he's taken aback .. isn't she going too fast? And he starts reading them, she can't have that, so she loses her temper ... 'forget it, you're no use, I'll manage on my own, thanks ... I am alone after all ...'
And of course he can't have that ... Bitiya has learned to play the master manipulator as cleverly as he always plays everyone else ... so he signs like a lamb ... including the paper hidden among the divorce papers ...

Mami tells Anjali that Khushi wants Shyam to divorce her ... and Shyam agreed.

Okay, I seriously don't get this ... Mami didn't think it was urgent to tell the family that Arnav is kidnapped ... and had to hide it from Anjali because of her pregnancy ... and she doesn't think twice about telling her this? All to set up the MU? And delay our ArHi milan? :x

And how is getting Shyam to sign away his estate to Anjali or Arnav going to be of any use? Arnav isn't dead yet, and the estate hasn't gone to Shyam yet ...

When the stars getting too big for their boots and start demanding storylines, the story goes for a toss. Am not feeling very happy with Daljeet.

The only good thing was, Sanaya had less screen space today, which means she got her rest ... so hopefully back to the rescue tomorrow ... and finally to a good Rabba ve ... feeling starved here!!!

Have put in all the main points above, so just a few additions -

Shyam-Khushi at poolside ... Mami overheard not only Khushi tell Shyam to take advantage of Arnav's absence and divorce Anjali, but also heard Shyam agree to do so ...
So she might misunderstand Khushi's insistence on staying quiet about the kidnapping.
Shyam's desire for Khushi, and his optimism that she is starting to bend towards him, is making him careless ... Khushi is finding it easier to manipulate him ... she never once tells him she is feeling anything for him per se ... its all about her revenge motive.

Mami's immediate reaction to tell Anjali ... quite in character ... she wanted to tell the family more than once about the kidnapping too. Blames both the outsiders ... Shyam and Khushi.

Arnav doing pushups ... the whole scene was quite funny :) ASR's smirk back, his attitude and confidence ... the KN's getting all hot and bothered ...what if he really runs away? =)) And Arnav's warning .. close the door before you leave :))
Is ASR trying to goad them into calling the Boss here?

NK-Khushi ... Khushi worried about what she's doing ... she doesn't really want Shyam to divorce Anjali yet ... why not? Why would she want Anjali to stay married to such a creepwa?
Or rather, she doesn't want Anjali or anyone else, to find out about all this ...
NK's mention of Sitaphal ... didn't know the mythological story behind it, all I thought of was Sita and phal ... Sita's separation from Ram coming up ... or after watching Mami limping up the stairs to tell Anjali ... is it Manthara filling Kaikeyi's ears and thus causing the Ram-Sita banvaas to the forest? So ArHi are banished together?

Khushi's doubts about the divorce papers ... and her memory of Arnav all beaten up and unconscious ... she can do anything for Arnav and his safety ...
And the conch sounds almost immediately ...

Anjali in temple, Mami limps her way there .. Anjali is also DM's favoured child ... the truth is broken to her in the temple ... DM has ordained it is time for Anjali to break out of her glass bubble ... Jai Devi Maiyya ki ...

As Khushi has the papers all ready for Shyam to sign ... much to his surprise ... 'aren't you rushing things a bit?'
And Khushi replies with a bite to her voice ... 'why? Are you changing your mind?'
She's learned how to manipulate the master manipulator himself ... playing him expertly, like an angler plays his fish, giving him some length, letting him read the first two papers, then reeling him back in by snatching them, and her anger ... 'forget it, you won't do this, I was a fool to trust you ...'
hitting him on his weak spot ... it's taken him forever to get her to trust him again ... he can't break that trust ...

Just as Anjali gets DM's prasad ... and Mami reaches her ...

Khushi urges Shyam to sign ... but he reads first ... she has to stop him reading them all ... the fake anger, the call to his trust ... the trap is sprung ...

Anjali first asks about Chotey, then about Shyam ... Mami says the word 'divorce' ...

Khushi still on her fake anger trip, challenging Shyam ... final tip of the balance ... 'I'll do it alone ...' she knows Shyam's weakest spot, his Achilles heel ... and he's falling ... falling ...

Anjali laughs it off ... 'He? Divorce me?!' can't happen ...
Mami repeats ... Khushi said best time because Arnav is away ... Anjali can't believe ... so what did he say? Still not believing anything about her KPP ... whatever Khushi said, he won't agree ...
And Mami remembers what Shyam said ... but will she actually say it to Anjali?

And Shyam falls into the trap ... and it clicks shut ... Khushi learned the Art of Getting Counterfeit Papers Signed in Five Easy Steps from the Conman himself ... and he's hoist with his own petard ... signed away sole executorship of his assets to his wife ...

Thoughts:
As an episode, it was interesting and lots happened ... Mami climbing the steps dragged a lot ... oh well, they were giving Sanaya some time off ... accepted :)

Aims of episode -
Set up the MU between Khushi-Anjali - accomplished 
Reverse Khushi's mistake in getting the papers signed - also accomplished, she atones for her mistake.
NK continues to be chief witness and Lakshman to Khushi's Sita ... accomplished with the Sitaphal line ...
Logicwa takes back seat - accomplished in spades ...
 - Shyam's will? He has no assets, won't have till Arnav dies, and even then, not ... because of Arnav's codicil ...
 - A POA for his assets, signed over to his wife? ... will Khushi use that as a sword over Shyam's head ... release Arnav because you're not getting his wife, and you won't get his wealth either ... stay quiet and happy with Anjali, otherwise I'll show her the divorce papers ...

Don't think they will dwell too much in all that ... the main purpose was to set up the next MU ... now Bitwa can safely be rescued/break out/ whichever way they take it ...

We won't have an ArHi MU ... that's a given ... but will Arnav know who the KN is? Hope Khushi tells him first thing or he finds out ... no more secrets please!!!  Not between ArHi!

26/6 - Finally!!! ... contd

Tuesday 26th June

We seem to be making this a habit on Tuesdays ... and weekends ... and some other days ... ;)

Discussion question - what exactly is Khushi planning with that threat to Shyam about divorce? Is she planning anything at all, or is that just a red herring for Mami to overhear? Because we know Khushi will find the restaurant bill, and then find Arnav ...

26/6 - Epi 283 ... Finally!!!

Tuesday 26th June

Will this be another Terrific Tuesday?

FINALLY ... Khushi sees the will ...
FINALLY she checks her phone ... kab se we've been waiting for her to do that!
And FINALLY she figures out the reason for the kidnapping, and her own role in it, and Shyam's intentions ... all in one go ...

And last but not least ... FINALLY ASR is back ... not just BS! ASR plus his attitude ... the man himself!!! Arnav seems to have shed the Rapunzel mode and gone back to the Raizada mode finally!
 I have to confess he made me laugh with his announcement that he's going to run away :)) ... bitwa, bhaagna hai toh bhaag ... announce karne ki kya zaroorat hai?! Aur baagna tha to ab tak kyun nahin bhaaga bey?! What were you waiting for - a mahurat?!
Oops, forgot ... Arnav was waiting for BS to shed his Sukhi mode :))

Sanaya was beautiful in the scene with Devi Maiyya ... her guilt and anguish at being the cause of Arnav's situation ... and her determination that now she doesn't care what he thinks of her, her priority is to get him out and back home safe.
And I got the feeling that if Arnav does MU her, Khushi will not fight ... she will pack up and leave quietly ... and Arnav might find out the whole truth only after that ... and that's when the RTR will truly begin.

Anji MU begins ... rather suddenly ... have to say.

NK continues to be a sweetheart ... today he was Hanuman and Lakshman rolled into one ...

Payash were actually much better today, now that the sugary sweet honeymoon phase is over and they are coming back to normal life ... their fight was good ...

DB's contract kicks into action straight away as her screen time increases, and with it, her new track ... Anjali sees Shyam exit Khushi's room, and immediately grills him ... what was he doing in Arnav's room - not Khushi's, Arnav's. And she called him ten minutes ago for the doctor's appointment, where was he?  Consternation on Shyam's face ... more excuses about hunting for his phone ... he doesn't have time to make up a good one.

I was glad they showed the continuation of Khushi's breakdown from yesterday ... 
NK plays Shyam's confession ... and it's interesting ... and ironical ... and heartbreaking ... to see the contrasting expressions on NK's and Khushi's faces ... NK is happy, victorious, they got the words they needed for the next step ... while Khushi is in an agony of self-loathing and tears ... how could she do all this? She can't take it any more ...
NK reassures her, we had to do this ... we needed to do it ... I'm sorry you had to go through this, but it was necessary ...
And Khushi cries even more ... what has she come to ... she had to say things, listen to things which disgusted her, from the person she hates the most ... yet she couldn't do anything ... the man touched her, and she didn't even stop him ... she hates herself ...
And poor NK feels her pain ...but he has to steel his own heart, and try to give her strength ...
Loved NK here ... what a good friend to have ... :) So understanding ... you had to do this to save Arnav ... that's the only reason you did this, ... and I know it ... 
And he reminds her ... we still need to keep an eye on him ...
And Khushi tries to pull herself together and remember their purpose ... we need to get the pendrive ...
And remove the camera ... NK will do the needful, Khushi doesn't need to go anywhere near Shyam or his room for the moment ...she can wait in NK's room.

Shyam manages to placate Anjali, she sees his pendant, and again Shyam tells her the truth ... Khushi gave it to him. What does it matter what Anjali thinks about Khushi? She will never question him ...
Of course she won't ... but she doesn't like anyone getting too close to her husband ... especially not the girl who she caught feeding him kheer the other day ... and going off with him to some undisclosed destination ...
So when Khushi bumps into her, Anjali is uncharacteristically blunt with her, her normal sweetness missing ...
(SN - cv's had laid the starting of the track with the earlier scenes ... did DB object because she was being painted too grey? Or because she wants more screen time, grey or otherwise? Or because she wants the bro-sis bond at the expense of the ArHi bond? As long as the cv's don't give in to the last, I don't care - Anji being grey was predicted a long time back by us.)

NK-Khushi work on the pendrive again ... and as Khushi hears Shyam's words again, she goes again into ashamed, self-loathing mode ...
Again loved NK ... his quick look at her and then his story about 'Nannav' was spot on ... he saw how upset and disturbed she was at just hearing those words, they reminded her of what she had to do to get that recording, and how she hated herself for doing it ... and so he stepped in to distract her with the only thing that could cheer her up ... a story about Arnav, the man she loves so much, and for who she's going through all this ... he calls Arnav 'Nannav' just to irritate him :)
NK's very obviously forced laughter actually worked here :) and we get to see Khushi's sunny smile after ages ... but very fleetingly ...

And finally they see the Will ... and its provisions ... and they both wonder with shock how this could happen, when Arnav hates Shyam so much ...
And the penny finally drops ... Khushi remembers the papers she got Arnav to sign ... finally checks her phone ... and realises to her horror that they are the same ...
But how can that be? Those were not the papers ... she read them herself ... but of course Shyam must have changed them ...
And she goes into an agony of self-blame ... it's all her fault for getting those signatures, because of her, Arnav's life is now in danger ...

Sweetie, not all your fault ... a big businessman should have learned by now to read each and every paper he signs ... and you didn't exactly hold a gun to his head to force him ...poor Khushi, I felt so bad for her.
Arnav may or may not walk his RTR, but Khushi will put herself through all kinds of hell for this mistake of hers ...

Payash ... finally continuing with their party, and Payal comes a cropper in her new heels ... how exactly did she reach there if she can't walk a step? Did she apparate? And Payash have their first real married fight ... about time too! Akash loses his temper ... and Payal fires back ...

Khushi-DM ... when she's distraught, DM is her refuge and DM never disappoints her ... loved this scene, as Khushi remembers what happened, and begs for forgiveness ... she made a deal with the devil just to prove her own innocence ... and what consequences it had on the man she loves more than life itself ...
And she can't bear it ... she doesn't want to prove her innocence any more, she doesn't care what he thinks of her ... all she wants is him back safe and sound ...
And all this happened because DM wasn't with her ... now you are with me, aren't you?
And NK touches her shoulder ... yes, DM is with her, and everything will be all right ... we'll find a way out ... he's returned the pendrive ... now what?
And Khushi turns to DM again ... help me now ... give me strength ... because she's about to step into very deep waters ...

Khushi begged DM for strength ... DM gave strength ... and brains ... back to Bitwa. ASR back ... complete with attitude ... announcing his date and time of departure ...
Bitwa, this is not an airport ... or a train station ... ki announcement kare ki padi ... :))
More like an announcement for the viewers ... ASR is back!

Khushi starts the next ... and most dangerous part of her campaign ... another deal with the devil.
SN - Dia to DM - Devi Maiyya, you sure this girl knows what she's doing? She's not digging another grave for herself, is she? You are with her, right?

Shyam-Khushi at poolside ... RM needs another pool after ASR's return ... a private one! This one has been polluted beyond redemption!
And Khushi prays for strength ... and gets to work ...
Shyamji, you and I both know why Arnav married me ... and now I want to put an end to the joke this marriage has become. But before that ... I want you to do something for me ... 
And Shyam has been completely hooked by now ... fish has taken the bait, now all she needs to do is reel him in ... and see how he reacts ...
Of course I will ... anything! I'm always with you ...
No, you won't! You're lying ... and always have been. You are never with me, and never will be  ... because you are a married man.  Have you forgotten that?
And Shyam is taken aback ... what is she getting at?

In the meantime, Mami Bond is back to work ... what will she see? And will we know?

But Shyam is busy reassuring Khushi ... I can give up anything and everything for you ... just tell me.
So Khushi tells him ... she wants to hurt Arnav where it hurts him the most ... and that will be through ... his sister ...

And Shyam puts it in words for her ... so you want me to divorce Anjali?
Thank god he said it, not her ...
And Khushi closes her eyes, her back turned to Shyam ... this is the last throw of the dice ... will he rise to the bait?
And turns to face him, ready with the act of her life ...
That is the best way to break Arnav's arrogance ...

25/6 - Epi 282 ... Need a Double Dettol Bath!!! VLR Creepwa in Action!

And this HAS TO be the last week of the kidnapping track!!! :))

Quick update :
Wept for Khushi ...
Cringed with Khushi, and clutched my tshirt as tightly as she was clutching her phone and her clothes when VLCR came near her...
Wanted to puke when he held her face ...
Heaved a sigh of relief and disgust when he said "I love you Khushi" ... and she clutched her phone tightly again ...
Wept with her again when she sank to the floor and cried ...

Wanted to clap NK on  the back when he realised what was happening, and his disgust ... loved him today :)
HATED and loathed Shyam today ... Abhaas did a great job ...showed the weaker side of Shyam, the one that will bring about his downfall ...

Episode actually left me shaken ... this is what women actually go through when someone abuses them ... especially a respected family member ... and they can't say anything ...

Update later - downloaded the episode, but this is one I will never want to re-watch ... Sanaya was fantastic!!!

Quick questions - did they see the Will? And realise what it was? Or will they see it before the precap scene ... and that's why Khushi tells Shyam to leave Anjali?
When will Khushi see Arnav's chit?!

So Mami is consoled ... but not quite ... she is going to do her own fact-finding and inveshtigashuns ... she will return tomorrow ... now which way will she bend? Will discuss that tomorrow once that scene plays out ...

NK says 'back to work', he's fixed a camera in Jeeju's room, they have to wait and see VLR use the laptop ...

And VLRC does the needful ... NK explains some more logicwa ki baatein ... where he fixed the camera, camera was from a friend in a security agency so fulfills all the requirements for spying - it's small, it can be fixed, will relay images to NK's laptop, it has zoom, but audio is not clear ... all the details spelled out for the next phase of action ...
NK watches as Shyam takes out the pendrive ... he's going to use it, so they need to observe ... back to action station, where he and Khushi watch Shyam's each and every action carefully ... 
And Shyam starts typing the password as Khushi watches and NK writes it ... ILOVEYOU ...
As Shyam types in KHU, Khushi's eyes widen with horror ... she knows what's coming and she can't stop it ... the filthy secret is coming out slowly ... anger, disgust, horror ... 'ghinn' is the right word, no exact equivalent for it ... sheer unadulterated disgust, horror and loathing at the pervertness of that man ... yes, and self-disgust, embarrassment and loathing too, that she is the unwitting object of such perverted behaviour. And a look of horror at NK ... how will he react now?!

While NK, genuinely good guy that he is, struggles to take in the meaning of the password ... what does this mean?
Before Khushi can answer ... or turn away from his unspoken accusation ... Shyam's laptop asks for voice authentication ... so Shyam, touching that pendant gifted by Khushi, obliges ... in case there was any doubt at all ...
And Khushi can barely meet NK's eyes ... she is so ashamed ... :(

But Shyam is still at work ... and NK-K see the paper coming up on screen ... did they see that it was Arnav's Will?
Mami interrupts VLR, much to his shock ... and to NK-K's disappointment ... Mami on her own investigation mission ... what gifts, from where ...?
A kurta from Scotland? after the sari? And no one suspects anything?! Mami didn't check the gift tag that was attached to the kurta ... but her checking out the gifts was very much in character, so Shyam didn't suspect anything ... for the moment ...
Did Shyam forget all about the fact that there were definitely two women following the KN? And that Mami lied to cover Khushi's story about being at GH?
Hopefully yes ... Khushi's playacting has made Shyam overconfident enough to forget everything else ... plus Khushi looks like she's no longer trailing Arnav anyway!

And finally NK asks Khushi what was that password all about ... and she has to tell him the truth =D> =D> Thank the Lord!!! Her helplessness, her self-disgust, her loathing ... she's quiet only for Di, how can she tell anyone the way VLR keeps trying to come close to her, talk to her ... her hands clenching tightly on each other, as she can't even meet NK's eyes, so ashamed and disgusted as she is ...
Good thing also that she made that slip the other night when Shyam had come to her room ...

And LOVED NK here ... "Disgusting!!!" And he's had enough, he can't tolerate it, they'll go to the police now ... they can't allow such a dirty, evil man to live in the same house ...
And loved that Khushi told him all ... how much she hates Shyam, and that all the problems between her and Arnav are because of this one man ... she's the one who most wants his real face to come out in front of the family ...
But ... her priority is getting Arnav back and making sure he's not put into any more danger ... 

NK - and for that, we need the pen drive, and the password in jeeju's voice ... his tone says, it can't be done ...
But Khushi is determined ... scared but determined ... yes, it can, they've come this far, they can't stop now, no matter how much it costs her ... I know how to get that password in his voice ...
NK looks at her with dawning horror as he realizes what she means ... 'No! I won't allow you to do that! the guy is sick! ...'
But she has to ... there's no other way ... so she will ... however much it disgusts her ...
And her hands clench on her kurta ... this is going to kill her ...

And Payal is still trying to figure out how to get close to Akash ... high heels are the way to go, apparently! *head desk* Cracks coming up in that relationship for sure ...

Khushi puts plan in action ... Shyam tells Anjali he's coming down ... hope that's true ;)
And follows Khushi like a lamb ...
And Khushi plays him like an expert ... first anger ... 'what's going on? Why would Arnav send a gift? He never thinks about me at all! And he's kidnapped - why are kidnappers sending gifts, what do they want to do here? And what do I do ... I'm all alone, I can't share this with anyone' ... established to Shyam that Arnav still hates her, so now switch to tears, which Shyam also can't bear ...

Arnav's note stuck to her gift ... it witnesses the entire scene, like a guardian angel ... for more earthly help, NK is also overseeing carefully ...
And as Shyam kneels to comfort her, Khushi switches on her voice recorder ... for Shyam's entire confession ... he loves her, he's with her ... whle Khushi says nothing but the truth ... she's upset, she's alone, she can't rely on anyone ...
And NK encourages Shyam silently from behind the curtain ... say ILU!!!

And Khushi encourages Shyam carefully ... 'you said the other day ... was it true? That Arnav has given me nothing but sorrow .. and you ...?'
And Shyam finally falls into her trap ... eagerly ... doing his best to convince her of his true love .. holding her face, while Khushi clutches her phone desperately to stop herself from throwing his hand off ...
'I love you, Khushi ..'
And NK ... and entire audience breathe a sigh of relief ... now get rid of him, Khushi!

Which she does ... 'Give me some time alone, please ... I need to think ...'
'Do think ... as much as you want ... but remember I love you very much.'
And he leaves ...

And Khushi finally breaks down ... and sinks to the ground in tears, her hands clenched tightly on her clothes ... what she had to go through, what she had to do ...

Great episode ... tough to watch ... but I've already watched it thrice including the repeat! Sanaya and Abhaas were fantastic, so was NK. Sanaya made Khushi's disgust, shame, loathing, helplessness and 'ghinn' come to life .... Shyam was cringeworthy, and yet pitiable ... because he doesn't know his downfall is coming soon ... and audience feels good knowing that, so it makes the scenes watchable ... especially with NK acting out all that the viewers are feeling!
Mami made her presence felt in her one short scene ... she will do much more tomorrow, I guess.
What will she see? How will she react? Which army will she join?

Lots of it :) :"> :) Rain song, Arhi take their time to go back to RM, Arnav sneaking to GH to meet Khushi if she gets banished by Anjali, more starry-eyed romance, hidden love affair ... always so much more exciting than the staid married stuff ... add more to the list, girls!

NO MORE MU between ArHi ... they should stay united against Creepwa and work together to expose him.

22/6 - Epi 281 ... Dead End - or New Beginning?

Friday 22nd June

So no progress at all in the investigation of the Bond duo ... although they manage to get the locket and even figure out it's a pen drive, but it's password protected.
Hubby and I were both saying 'try Khushi!' ;)

Khushi begs DM's forgiveness for telling lies in her name ... don't worry, bitiya, DM knows all ...

One more loophole closed ... although I suspect it was basically a filler ... Khushi has to pull Shyam out of the room for NK to replace the pendrive ... and we have to suffer another DDR scene ... :(

Gift box arrives from Scotland ... did Shyam actually send the box all the way to Scotland and have it couriered back? I thought he told his KN to courier it directly? Maybe the rest of the instructions were on the message he was going to send.
The courier guy was funny ... he looked petrified at mami's suspicious behaviour!
And I liked Mami - as she lit a fire under the backside of the Bond duo - get a move on, will you, or I'll get into the act myself. And she's even tried to check the location of Arnav's mobile ... now why couldn't the Bond duo think of that?

I think they really, really need to tell her who the KN is - none other than Damaadji.
Did the mention of Mami's allergy ring a bell to Khushi and NK? Do they know about Shyam's pineapple allergy? And as they have reached a dead end with the pendrive thing, are they going to try a new line of investigation?

It was quite ironic - in the room of five people with the gifts, there was actually only one person who didn't know that Arnav was kidnapped ... Nani. The other four all knew and were busy hiding it. And the sixth, for whom the entire drama was taking place, was off set, busy with an offscreen drama of her own. I mean Daljeet - Payash don't seem to really count for much in the storyline.
Let's see if they get a move on with the track on Monday, because nothing much really happened today.
And we have a precap for Monday ... which means that some scenes have already been shot ... NK has fixed a camera in Shyam's room. Just hope it's of the recording variety.

Shiddat for the week - echoing Mami - get a move on ... we're missing Bitwa!!! And BS, get your a** back on the IPK sets as of yesterday!

Shyam-Khushi - Khushi exchanged the tooth locket, and fortunately Shyam is still in Happyland and doesn't want to wear two chains now ... I thought he just told her in the previous episode that he couldn't take it off?  So fortunately, she manages to get out of having to put the second one around his neck. Shyam's amnesia was required for him to put the locket in a drawer, so that Khushi-NK could replace it with the original when they had finished investigating it ... replacing it around his neck would have been impossible. So cv's found a way around that problem.
He stops her as she's leaving, much to her consternation ... she manages to face him with an only slightly worried face, and he reassures her ... 'Now we're in this together always ...'
Was there a hint of a threat in those words? And does she realise it? Probably 'yes' to both.
Shyam takes off the chain, puts away the locket carefully on a keychain ... Khushi watches ... she is not leaving anything to chance now, keeping a very close watch on every single thing he does.

A small heart-to-heart with DM and a worried Khushi ... she's telling lies, deceiving someone deliberately ... but NK reassures her that DM will definitely understand her actions because her motives are pure ...
I read on the Redux thread many writers keep pointing fingers at Khushi for telling more and more lies, getting closer and closer to Shyam, and that her deceit will come back to bite her ... is this a reply to all those doubters? But this was very much in character for Khushi, to ask forgiveness from DM for lying even to a liar ... she is by nature trusting, straight forward and forgiving ... to deliberately deceive someone is difficult for her to do ... and to cozy up with a slimeball like Shyam even worse, when she knows what kind of person he is, when even she has realized that he is beyond redemption. But as they say 'loha hi loha ko kaatta hai' ... she needs to be as cunning and deceitful as Shyam to win his trust.

NK-Khushi trying to ferret out the secret of the locket ... after many attempts, they figure out it's a pen drive, after more frustrating attempts, they realise they can't access the data because it's password protected. But it's important to Shyam obviously ... that's why he had it hung around his neck all the time.
You know a scene is a filler when the CU is almost as long as the scene ;)
How to get the data out?
Use a professional hacker's services ... that's what they do!
But for the moment, they do remember they have to return the  pen drive as soon as possible.

Shyam still lost in pleasant reverie (DDR) of Khushi tying the locket around his neck ... and rather impure thoughts, by his expressions :( :-& ... only to be startled to find her there in the flesh ...
Khushi pulls him out of the room on pretext of talking to him about the papers she signed and her worry about them ... while NK returns the pen drive. And does something else ... what?

Khushi all trusting, nervous, says she's worried, if Arnav finds out about the papers ... Shyam holds her shoulders (yuck ... DDR ... and Khushi's face shows it too) ... and reassures her ... 'you've shown that you trust me now ... I will take care of everything ...'
'But Arnavji ...'
'I will handle him, Khushiji ...' and his tone changes, threatening ...
and Khushi's face changes as she looks at him ... and he backtracks quickly back to reassuring mode ... realizing he made a slip, and showed too much under the facade ...
Great play of emotions there between the two ... Khushi goes from acting the trusting naive girl to showing a flash of the real anger and alarm hidden inside ... and Shyam immediately realizes he showed too much of the darkness inside him, and retrieves his mask quickly ... he still wants to play the good guy and not show Khushi his true face.
And Khushi is getting closer and closer to her goal of taking Shyam back to the GH days when she did trust him, and talk to him about things troubling her ... he's starting to trust her now, and feel that she relies on him to some extent ... enough for him to get more confident and make his next slip? Or will she find Arnav's note first? Or will she and NK crack the pen drive code first?
NK interrupts ... he's done with his task, so Khushi can stop her distracting tactics and make her escape ...

Next day, the couriered box arrives ... Mami sees it's from ASR, from Scotland ... and immediately starts her interrogations of courier man ... who sent this, where did it come from? ... he wants to escape! Nani is excited ... NK, Khushi thunderstruck ... NK needs to stop looking so alarmed in front of Shyam, he's not supposed to know Arnav is kidnapped! And Shyam needs to look less watchful in front of Nani and Mami and NK ... he doesn't know that NK knows, and he's not sure how much Mami knows ...

Khushi-NK-Mami - Khushi is furious back in her room ... 'we know this is not from Arnav, this is from  shatir Sh..." She and NK know he's playing games now, keeping the facade of Arnav being safe in front of the family ... and they can't do a damn thing yet till they find out where Arnav is.
Before she can complete his name, mami chimes in ... 'shatir kidnappers have sent this and we three all know this. And we need to do something about it now!'
And Mami has been on the job, trying to trace the whereabouts of Arnav's mobile ... unsuccessfully ...
Khushi is very worried ... 'don't let the kidnappers know we're still on his trail, they might harm him ...' she saw him being carried out beaten and unconscious, and she knows Shyam is dangerous ...

But Mami is at the end of her tether ... 'it's been so many days, and we still have no clue about where he is ... he knows I am allergic to this ... and you both are not even telling me anything ...'
And this time she breaks down, and Khushi is the one who comforts her ... role reversal ... 'trust me, we will find out soon ...'
This time when she hugged Mami, Mami didn't shake her off ...

And apparently NK fixed a camera in Shyam's room.

Thoughts:
On episode and track in general ... the kidnapping track has been on for six weeks. The first four weeks were actually very tight and well planned, and did not drag at all, we all enjoyed the track, Khushi's realization was beautifully dealt with and we agreed that Arnav's absence was essential for her realisation to happen.

It was easy for Arnav to fall in love with Khushi, she was beautiful, transparent, filled with a zest for life which he could identify with because he had it once upon a time, and lost somewhere with the tragedies in his life. Also she was bold, brave, stood up to him and had no hesitation (or very little) in giving back to him as good as she got, which nobody else ever did, and which made her unique.

For her to fall in love with him was much more difficult ... and to make it believable, even more so. He showed her his worst side from the start ... his cruelty, his harshness, his bitterness, his barbs ... even when he was good to her, he cloaked it with harsh words, and when he showed her his soft side, he backtracked immediately and rebounded into even more bitter harshness. So his absence was essential for Khushi to remember the good times more than the bad, to realise that he had always been there for her when she needed him, and even the forced hate marriage had actually protected her from Snakewa's evil intentions, also, Arnav never took advantage of the marriage in any way. And once she discovered the real reason why he had married her, she understood his reasons and his behaviour so much more easily. Aided by the insights given by Anjali and Nani, her own misery in his absence, and she was finally able to face her own feelings ...

And then, her unexplained fears about him realised ... he actually was in trouble ... and her investigations started to unearth the truth behind his disappearance ... so far so good. Khushi teaming up with Mami worked very well ... she did need some help, it was great to get on board someone who had never really accepted her ... and Sanaya and Utkarshaji carried out that track fabulously - both great actresses, and it worked really well.  Arnav not really required till now, so BS's absence was not felt so acutely ... although he was missed, but things were happening at a good pace, and kept us engrossed. TRP's also showed the same thing ... except for the penultimate week of IPL, the TRP's maintained at just under 3 ... which for 6 weeks without one of the leads, and a very popular one, is pretty good.
But the last two weeks have really slowed down the pace ... after discovering that Shyam is the kidnapper ... and NK coming in ... blind end after blind end ... and getting nowhere.

Going behind the scenes now - BS is back, that has been confirmed ... by him, by his movie ph, by his costars' tweets, by informers, by everybody and their dog basically ... and it's only the last 2-3 episodes which have seemed a little out of place and not well-written at all. Added to which, the sudden disappearance of Daljeet from the sets ... in one of the scenes in the middle, she wasn't there, it was her BD ... and BD's of Barun/Sanaya are understandable, because of their schedules, but why Daljeet? She's not on any other show, she's not shooting non-stop on IPK ... and then we hear the rumours again about her leaving ... and suddenly the track starts dragging so close to the end.

My conclusion ... might be right, might be completely wrong ... the track is being re-worked quickly .. either to accommodate her demands, or to let her leave and allow a new person to take over. We had two scenes of Khushi-Shyam being seen by Anjali ... and then Anjali went off to her friend's house. I would not be surprised to hear that Daljeet is leaving ... and when the kidnapping track winds up, we might see a new Anjali. At any rate, negotiations are definitely on, and may have hit a snag, hence the sudden delay in resolution of the kidnapping and the disappearance of Anjali.
And also it seems that the PH has had a rethink about starting the next MU so quickly, even before the complete resolution of the first one. Which is all to the good!!! Especially the last :)

But the news about giving a small break to Sanaya before next week means that at least the kidnapping track is wrapping up very soon! 

Final (and most important) note :) - latest FB pictures show an Arnav-Khushi hug, new TB video and E24 segment show the same ... I am not planning to see any of the above ... so whatever is happening with Anjali, we know that the kidnapping track is definitely winding up next week! Halleluiah!!!

Ulta decoding Thursday episode:

1.Nani - Chotay never does like this, when he says he will return on this day, he does.

MEANING - Barun extended his movie shoot from 11 days to 40 days.

2. Shyam - He got a bit busy, he wants to spread his business abroad, so got a bit busy.

Be patient he will come back besides khushi is talking to him.

MEANING - Barun is trying to break into Bollywood and balance both so is a bit busy,

pacifies the channel, ph and the audience, he will be back. The PH is also bugging him

to come back.
3. ASR - That is funny, I dont hear the sounds.

Meaning - I dont see the euphoria or the drool or gutter posts, on my retunr.

4. Kiddo KN - You dont think I can get another phone?

Meaning - You dont think we can get another ASR to barun(ph/channel or both)

5. Kiddo KN - The other guys are not here, I will manage.

Meaning - PH so what if Barun is missing, other actors are threatening to leave the show, we will manage somehow.

6. Kiddo kidnapper holds ASR at gunpoint.

Meaning - Channel points the TRP gun at SHow and PH.

7. Shyam asks Kiddo KN (KKN) to go to shopping and KKN asks why. Shyam says Shut up and just do as I say. KKN obliges.

Meaning - Channel wants Dabba veys, Dream sequence, Hut sequence etc. PH aka writers protest, Channel says Shut up and do as I say, story, character be damned. PH obliges.

8. ASR is about to throw the food away and stops seeing the bill and hopes to find his location.

Meaning - Audience is about to give up on the show but hangs in cos of spoilers, loyalty and sbs/sbb. And also hopes after barun comes back, we will get back the story.

9.Mami - Khushi convo
a. You lied about the phone call didn't you? He is not in big trouble is he?

Channel to PH or Audience to PH - You lied about having a grip on the story didn't you. You have no clue do you. The show might be under trp scanner.

b. You have to trust me. The moment I get any clue I will tell you. We cant tell anyone.

PH's reply - You guys have to trust us. It is our livelihood yada yada. The moment we find some semblance of sanity or a good plot-line, we will show it. Till then the audience or no one is supposed to know about the missing story or our uselessness.

Part II
Mami to self: It is so easy for you to say. I wont sit quietly.

Meaning - Channel to PH - We dont believe you, You have done your bit in messing up

the show and we will do our bit (take it either way).

ASR wasting time by not escaping and taking inventory of the hiding place.

MEANING -Writers restrcited by actors absence, tantrums, ph pressure, channel pressure,

audience pressure and not taking the sensible route by giving a good storyline even

now or scenes but sitting on their as**s and coming up with Bheja fry stuff.

MEANING - PH in desperation turnig to Channel and taking their suggested tracks and feebly protesting. Channel reassuring them it will work and audience will come flocking like the bhavras. PH still not convinced and asks hesitantly, are you sure. Channel flares up , how can you question us? PH hesitantly replies well your last track suggestions didnt work did they. Channel you didnt execute it right, it is all your fault. Trust us it will work.
 Akash has come as in Barun has returned.

Channel, now just sit back and relax. Hero has come, story will also come or people will be just content watching asr onscreen and TRP will automatically come. Just matter of time and you guys start shooting.

She had a nightmare earlier this week and recalled how Arnav's presence calmed her. It is the light of his love in her heart that has given her so much courage recently. For this brave girl and the ArHi love story which appears to be approaching another testing time..

Be assured that if you conscience is telling you its right and fair, then whatever be the trials and tribulations never lose the faith. Stand steady and firm knowing that it is the rock that is lambasted with the storms and waves in the ocean but when the storm subsides, it is the rock alone that remains unchanged.

Life is a journey of twists and turns. Many a times you get yorkers, no-balls and curve balls. You feel like breaking down and wallowing in your grief. Break down and shed the tears if that helps but with the tears let the helplessness too flow away. 21/6 - Epi 280 ... Bond Trio and Hero Back

Thursday 21st June

Much better episode today ... and I was rofling while watching, remembering Sandy's words that someone is stalking this blog ... so many of our questions answered and wishes granted :))

Shyam puts in his two penny's worth at the dining table ... reassuring Nani that nothing is wrong. Thus showing he's not worried - good.

Mami back in action ... also good. Make that very good :) ... she should discover Shyam's truth ... please, cv's.

Arnav in action .. this track would have been so much better if a) it was shorter and b) we'd gotten Arnav's side alongside from the beginning. It would have been so much better to see both sides of the story .. along with Arnav's journey to the phone ILU ... cib crib ...
Oh well - BS was back into ASR mode ... first trying to find a way out, then the whole writing a note and something only Khushi would understand bit ... KN explains why he has a phone, gives food to Arnav - somebody remembered that diabetics need food ... Arnav asks for sugar ... well done!

KN has to be the dumbest creature on the planet ... wait, make that KN plus Shyam ... sending a parcel couriered from a local address? With stuff from Vasant Vihar?! Did Shyam even specify that the stuff has to look like it's from Scotland?

Khushi and NK discuss money again ... and issue of the locket ... 

Shyam is actually falling for Khushi's tricks? Well, well, well ... DM is doing wonders all right ... withholding prasad from Shyam was just the first step, DM is well and truly in action. And Khushi exchanges the locket ... in slow motion, so that the viewers can see exactly what she's doing ... :)

So tomorrow we have to wait and see if Khushi gets away with the locket exchange ... and whether she gets the note with the address. Didn't Arnav know the box was supposedly from him, that he wanted to make sure Khushi knew? Will need to re-watch to check.

Khushi in soup to answer Nani's question. Nani says ASR always returns when he says he will. Nani, we really hope so!!!
Shyam reassures Nani also ... he has lots of work, Khushiji says she talks to him everyday, so you don't worry. Although he's showing that he is not worried, but he's using Khushi's non-worry as a shoulder to fire his gun.
But Mami is worried, although she keeps quiet now. After telling Khushi to let her know about Arnav's next call. In other words, keep me informed!

NK Hanuman appears, returns Shyam's laptop cheerfully, and Shyam leaves. NK wants to talk to Khushi pronto.

 ASR-KN... KN remembers that his prisoner needs food also, not just medicines. KN's are all getting fed up - they signed up for short kidnap and kill mission ... they're getting impatient and careless. And Bitwa's dimaag has returned from vacation ... (obviously, he's stopped shooting with ST ... his dimaag went for a toss the moment he signed up for a movie with her!) ...

First he realises that temple bells and train sounds have stopped ... 'that's funny.'
KN gets a call from his boss ... and clarifies to his captive that he is rich enough to buy a new phone if he breaks an old one. Drat!!! No wonder Arnav didn't try to bribe him, he's obviously wealthy in his own right. This kidnapping business is just a hobby in his spare time =))

Bitwa's dimaag lights up again ... as KN decides to leave to have heart-to-heart chat with Boss in private, he makes suspicious sound, so KN turns back to keep him covered ... and continues his conversation right there. Also just to be more helpful, he repeats all Boss's instructions out loud, so Arnav knows exactly what's happening. And lets Arnav know that he is alone.
Khushi seems to have signed up DM to do double duty - love me, love my hubby :) And protect both of us! Or is that Mahadev at work?

If Arnav could fight three goons blindfolded a few days back, why didn't he try taking down this one single-handedly??
(Dia - no kwostins on logicwa ... BS is not back fully on shoot, so Arnav can't break free yet.)

Shyam tells KN to send gift hamper to Arnav's house ... saris? from Scotland? perfumes, watches ...
KN helpfully repeats his instructions again for Bitwa's benefit ... I will courier all this to Raizada house.

Arnav wants to throw his food ... bitwa, eating meals regularly is very important for a diabetic ... kha lo! Finds the bill stuck to the bottom ... KN bhaiyya is getting very careless indeed!

Mami-Khushi - Mami is all antsy now after three days of rest ... where is my dearest Arnav bitwa? And she's getting emotional now ... were you lying about the phone call?  Is he in trouble?
Khushi tells her the call actually happened ... Mami wants to tell the family, but Khushi tells her she's on the job. Mami is not happy - she's going to investigate herself. Yippeee ... will she find out about Shyam?!

Arnav-KN ... Arnav trying to find a way out, KN returns with cardboard box filled with multicolored boxes ... this is supposed to be from Scotland?! Arnav fakes hypoglycemia ... KN exasperated ... ek to I'm already pareshan with babysitting, upar se his diabetes :))
And Bitwa sends the restaurant receipt ... yep, he didn't know the box is supposedly from him, and Khushi would anyway smell a rat ... but the secret message does indicate that he's there in person, and Shyam didn't send the box from some random place. So Arnav thinks of a message which only Khushi will be able to decipher is actually from him ... good setting for a Rabba ve coming up :"> :))

Crosses out "A" ... scribbles ... what?! Bets accepted here :)) List is below :)

KN has a sense of humour - kar le apna munh meetha :)

NK-Khushi ... NK couldn't get bank statements, but managed to get emails from the bank ... KJ's a/c was almost empty, there were regular transfers from Di's a/c  to KJ's a/c ... (they haven't seen that those have stopped yet?) ... 5 lakhs withdrawn the day she heard the first phone call ... (I thought she knew that, she saw the SMS) ... which means he needed money ... but then why hasn't he asked for ransom?
NK remembers the Kissa Locket Ka ... and Shyam's extreme anger when the locket got wet ... Khushi says we have to get the locket ...

Payash and chameli ka tel ... Buaji's advice seems to work better for Khushi ... bait the trap with sweet-smelling flowers, and bhanwara will come himself ... Doesn't work for Payal, as Akash bitwa also has takniki kharabi ... allergy to chameli oil ...
Payal should keep her hair tied, she looks much prettier that way.

Shyam and Khushi ... Khushi ready to bait the trap, and spring it too, no matter how distasteful she finds the job ... raksha dhaga for Creepwa, because they're together on this ...
Creepwa is delighted ... he actually starts hearing soft music :))
She's sad he's already wearing a chain, he quickly assures her he can wear two ... Khushi is so relieved ... she offers to tie it for him ... and Creepwa thinks all his Christmases have arrived together! Is he really that gullible? Or is it simply that Khushi really is his Achilles' heel?

So Khushi very hesitantly goes behind him ... and her distaste and determination shows as she is safely behind his back ... she has to do this ... (I checked if Shyam was in front of a mirror - he wasn't) ... and while Shyam smiles blissfully, she loosens the other locket, it drops and she exchanges it for the one she has in her bag ... hopefully the slow motion was for the audience and she was actually much faster with the whole thing ...
And he stops her as she leaves ...

So two things to wait for tomorrow ...
Does she manage to make her escape?
And what is Arnav's message which is only for Khushi's eyes?

20/6 -Epi 279 ... Bhat izz the motibhzz?

Aye lo!!! Three weeks after Bitwa has been missing, and after multiple abortive CID attempts, Khushi suddenly wakes up to what Mami told her the first day ... find the motibhzz!!! It's all about the money, honey! And you know who the chief KN is, now get police/detective help and get him found!

Payal + flirting = epic fail! :))

NK is not Krishna or Bharat, he's more Hanuman. Itna time to check an email?! Dragging ... hopefully means they are heading to an end point on Friday night ... 

Shyam losing it more and more often ...and what was that about that rather ugly locket?

Nani finally wakes up to the fact that Bitwa has been missing for a long time ... Mami is getting worried too ... why is Khushi still trying to hide it?! And from Mami ... when she knows about the kidnapping?! Why tell so many lies?

Cv's ... dear cv's ... when we said we wanted you to use the entire cast, we didn't mean no Bitwa-Bitiya scenes at all. BS, get your a** back on the show ... and not just for fighting or romancing ... do something useful and get yourself found, or break free yourself! Hero ho, bhai ... not Mr. Right!

Dragging episode ... and nothing happened at all ... cv's, get a move on now! Arnav doesn't know where he is being held, what message can he send? Or will he try to overpower the KN and break free himself?

Quick edit as really nothing much happened, and my guests are at home today ;)

Car chase comes to a non-fruitful end, as Shyam realises he's being followed ... will this make him more suspicious of Khushi? He calls her to check and hears the car horn. Am sure he will start being much more cautious with her now.
He gives them the slip, and goes back home to check on her - fortunately Khushi asked DM for help, so she got home before he did, and was with Nani, like she said she was.

Night - NK-Khushi ... and Khushi knows Shyam is on alert. And finally she goes back to the main question - what is the motibhzzz??? Why have they caught him, why are they not releasing him and why no ransom demand, why they don't even want the family to know that he's in trouble?
Methinks they're going around in circles here ... when Khushi 'let out' her revenge plan to Shyam, didn't she figure out it was about the property?
Anyway, finally she feels it's about money ...
Dinya Jyoti Bank - Divine light ... is DM helping here too?
So get hold of Shyam's bank statements? Get his laptop.
If Shyam withdraws money in cash, how will you find out whom he pays through his bank statements? *head desk*

Payash - Akash thinks Payal needs an eye doctor! :)) Payal needs help!!! And not of the Buaji variety! Next Payal will sport flowers in her hair! *head desk*

Shyam with laptop and strange tooth shaped locket. HP spills water on locket ... on purpose? Shyam yells at him ... Shyam losing it again?
Locket - Shyam doesn't want water to spill on it ... so what is in the locket? A camera to capture his talks with Khushi? A pen drive? Something electronic, probably.
I feel like Miss Marple here! :))

Nani is finally worried about Arnav's whereabouts. Raksha puja prasad kept by Khushi for Arnav.
Why is Mami asking searching questions at the dining table? She is Khushi's co-conspirator, she should be asking her in private, not in public. Didn't make any sense at all ... cv's have to be careful when writing these scenes. Or is Mami going to turn against Khushi? And Khushi telling lies now ... again, didn't like that at all .. she could have said he called, but the line was bad. He called, that was true - I forgot.

NK manages to get into Shyam's emails from the DJ Bank.
And Nani asks Khushi when is Arnav coming back. What is she going to say?
Shyam should feel the pressure now.

Precap - Shyam tells KN to courier stuff to RM ... Shyam's goons are not the smartest - telling all the plans in front of their captive.
Just hope Arnav gets into action now!

First we had their phone conversation, now a telepathic talk. Do these two have some problem in talking face to face that we don't know about? :))

Shyam acts Creepwa again, and just in time remembers he's trying not to scare Khushi away. NK sees Khushi's disgust for Evilwa.
Payash ... 'nuff said ;)
Shyam's goons are getting antsy at acting babysitters for a troublesome captive.
Khushi remembers she still has to sweet-talk Evilwa into giving her the whereabouts of Arnav's hideout. So she gives him kheer. Anjali gets the wind up.
Khushi-NK follow Shyam.



By the way, there is a fallacy in our TRP's and Tuesday theory. Apparently the week's TRP's are collected Mon-Sunday and it takes two days for different agencies to calculate and average them out.

Latest TRP's - 2.8 Same as last week :( I think viewers are sick of the dragged kidnapping track, it had better wind up ASAP now that Barun is back to the shoot! And we need some romance - always a sure-shot method to raise TRP's :)

Also, TRP's are calculated based on peopleometers installed in all of 15,000 households. Which in a country of over a billion people, and at least a few million tv sets, is really no useful criterion at all. It's been criticized by a number of producers and people in the business as well, and apparently there are efforts to make it more representative of the actual viewing situation. But till the TV channels and PH's find a new and better way of recording TRP's over a wider subset of the population, this faulty system will stay.

 Shyam getting bolder, thinks he's on the home run with Khushi. Khushi scared ... Arnavji ...
NK wonders why Shyam was there at night, she almost gives it away, then recovers, but is shaken.

Shyam's goons getting antsy, they were supposed to kidnap and kill, not kidnap and babysit. They want more money.

Anjali sees Shyam and Khushi again ... leading to Arnav-Anjali rift? Because it seems highly unlikely there will be YAMU between ArHi now ... they communicate by ArHi pathy these days :"> 

Payal wants to become high society lady. Buaji's teen nuske.

A strange pull there always was between Arnav and Khushi, from the very first meeting. Fights, bickering, hatred, alternating with periods when they almost but not quite, gave in to the attraction between them, and always rebounded back to hatred and bitterness ... refusing to acknowledge the pull, that strange bond, refusing to trust their hearts ... fighting it with mind and heart, fighting those feelings that always drew them together, no matter how much he tried to hate her and go away from her, no matter how much she fought the pull of her own heart and tried to refute it ...

Until the separation, when that feeling grew, that however difficult living with each other might be, but living without each other wasn't an option any more ...

And the two hearts finally gave in and dared to TRUST ... trust that pull, that bond ... TRUST it enough to give it a name ... Love.

Love that made him cling to her thoughts while sitting in captivity, love that drove her relentlessly to search for him, even putting herself into danger, love that made him hurt her to make sure no one else would, and take the danger of re-capture on himself ...

Yes, she could hear him ... always. Her heart heard, even if her ears didn't. Her heart always heard him, it was she who refused to listen to her heart.

He knew what she was doing.
'You're looking at the stars, aren't you?'
She nodded silently, tears in her eyes ... knowing that he was looking at them too ... The stars connected them ... especially their parents' stars ...The stars that had forged the first tenuous connection between them, when they shared their common loss, and she tried to share her faith, her trust with a man who needed it because he had lost his own.
'I'm looking at them ... your parents and mine ...'
'Our parents ...' No longer his and hers, but theirs ... because he believed her now ... her faith had made him a believer ... and he could see them too.
A small ironical, self-deprecating laugh.
'If somebody had told me this a year ago, I wouldn't have believed them. That I could believe this. But today ... today I feel it's true. They are there.'
And she laughed gently in her turn through her tears.
'I told you then also, didn't I ... it's not a question of truth or lies ... it's a question of trust ... an unshakeable trust.'

Heer Ranjha ... 'what is the truth, what is a lie, doesn't matter any more ... only one thing matters ... if you don't exist, I don't exist ...'

And they are both finally ready to believe that ... to trust in that, in their love ... if they are together, nothing else matters ... 

'You made me trust in your trust ...' to believe in your beliefs, in believe in relationships, in hope, in love ...
A small laugh again ... as he finally puts it in words ... his own fight, his own battle against love, which he's willingly lost now ... 'what have you done to me, Khushi? I tried so hard ... so very hard ... to hate you ... but I could just never manage to hate you. My own heart betrayed me, it didn't listen to me ...'
'And I tried so hard to not love you ... to not follow my heart ... but my heart too didn't listen to me ...' she in turn acknowledges her own fight ...


She closes her eyes ... he smiles ironically ...
'You know, Khushi, whenever I'm near you, I try to go away from you ... but the moment I go far from you, all I can think of is coming back close to you ...'
That's what he always tried to do ... go away from her, push her away with his harshness, his cruelty ... but the moment she left his side, he needed her back ...
'I don't need anything else, Khushi. I don't need anything.' ... except you.

She opens her eyes and smiles slightly. 'You can be near me or far away, but you're always with me, aren't you? These distances can't weaken our bond ... because we can hear each other, feel each other ...'
A small hopeful smile on his face ... yes, they can ...
'Talk to each other ... we're talking now, aren't we?'
And he nods slightly, smiling still.
" Because you're with me always ... and I will bring you back home very soon ... this I promise you ...'
And she places her hand to her heart ...'you can hear, can't you? My heart beating for you ...'
'Yes ... always ...'
Hamari dhadkanein ek ho jaati hain ... if his heart beats, so does hers ... they beat together, because they are one.  

Peace at last ... the love finally acknowledged in words ... the love, and the long hard journey to it ... the trust in that love acknowledged ... there for each other ... they belong to each other ...always.

Tying up all the scenes which were milestones in their story ... the first tryst with the stars, Holi, Heer Ranjha ... and acknowledging the times they fought, moved apart ... yet always came back together ...

Khushi sleeps at night, the lights go out, and she wakes up scared ... and remembers Arnav and the fireflies ... when he was with her, she lost her fear of darkness ... but nowhe's not there, she's scared again.

And Creepwa comes with a candle   :x Khushi shocked and appalled, and more than a little frightened ... he gives the candle, she takes it unwillingly ... as she fixes it on the table, he reaches out to touch her, and she moves back swiftly ... and VLR sees that she might have disclosed her secret to him, but she still doesn't trust him when he tries to come near her ...
He tries to reassure her, that he's not up to any mischief, but she's still scared and very nervous ...
Some smooth-talking ... he doesn't want to scare her away now, she has taken so long to come anywhere close to trusting him, even talking to him ... 
'Since our goals are the same, we should be together ...'
She's shocked ... he quickly re-phrases ... he has to treat her with kid gloves and not let his obsession overpower him and scare her away ...
'I mean ... we can help each other ... can't we?'
She seems to re-consider, he dares to step one step closer ... and try his luck again ... 'you know how I feel about you ...'
She's not happy, so he steps back with some more reassurance ... he's leaving now, but he's always there for her ... and leaves ...

Leaving Khushi trembling and very scared ... she needs to do this, but she's afraid of what she has left herself open to ... 'Arnavji ...' as though his name will give her the courage and strength she needs ...

She goes to shut the door ... and sees another shadow approach ... fortunately this time it's NK ... to her immeasurable relief ... and  he saw Shyam leave her room ... did he suspect anything?
And Khushi is so shaken, she spills out her fears ... she can't stand it any more ... every time VLR comes near, tries to touch her, she can't stand it ...

NK is puzzled ... touch her? And Khushi has to quickly retract ... but this is the third time she has voiced her hatred and disgust about Shyam ... will NK put the pieces together later and figure out what was happening? At the moment he's clueless, so she covers up ... she hates having to pretend to cooperate with Shyam, talk to him ... he's too crafty, they need to be very careful.
So NK says yes, so they have to ignore their personal dislikes and decide the way ahead ...
She knows he's right ... and she does know how to handle Shyam, much as she completely cringes to do so ...

Payash ... Akash going to a party, tells Payal she can skip ... good thing they've re-started this track, so two parallel tracks starting ... the Arhi-Anjali one and the Payash one ...
Payal asks Buaji for help :)) She refused to go for the party. Buaji tells her to come home, she will help. Methinks Payal is beyond help.

Shyam having trouble with his goons ... they were hired to kidnap and kill, they're not happy babysitting a grown man, who is becoming very troublesome ... he keeps trying to escape, and they have to keep changing hideouts ...
Good thing KN said that - we thought Bitwa was just sitting and mooning about his ladylove ...
Shyam says give them more money and keep them quiet.
Khushi overhears.
Shyam flustered, recovers ... Khushi brought kheer for Anjali. She puts it down, closes her eyes, grits her teeth and gets to work ... 'thank you for last night, for the candle ... I'm scared of the dark.'
Shyam says he will never let darkness near her.
She tells him to eat the kheer ... VLRE (yuckkk) tells her to give him shagun ... because they have started working together ... he doesn't have any nefarious intentions ...
Yeah right!!! 
And as Khushi very reluctantly takes the spoon to give him kheer, Anjali lands up ... and never have I been so glad to see KMH!!!
Anjali is not happy ... not at all. Shyam is flustered, Khushi too, but manages to cover up ... 'kheer for you, jijaji wants to taste it.'
Anjali takes the kheer with brief word of thanks to Khushi, but smiles sweetly at Shyam as she feeds him.
Anjali likes to live in her dream world, and she will not allow anyone to spoil it. Perfect husband, perfect brother, perfect family. Full stop.
Abhaas and Sanaya - fantastic acting ... made me hate Shyam and want to drag Khushi out of the room! And Anjali was actually a little creepy. 

Payal-Buaji - Buaji's teen nuske. Payal is flummoxed. Buaji never said a truer word ... Payal ka kuch nahi ho sakta! 

Khushi-NK ... VLR going to give some people money ... so NK decides to follow them. Khushi checks with Shyam ... are you going out? And Khushi is sure it's to do with Arnav and where he has been kept.
NK, when you're following someone, don't stay so close! 


Thoughts:

Long awaited R&R Shiddat granted .. talking to the stars. Even though it wasn't together, but the dialogues, the emotions were exactly what we wanted :) :">  Fabulous scene =D> Thank you, cv's!

So it does not seem that YAMU is coming, instead we will probably get the Anjali vs ArHi track.
Will Shyam get off scot-free? But how? From the spoilers, there is going to be a Shyam-Arnav fight, so Arnav will know the truth about the kidnapping, and that Shyam is behind it. Will Anjali go through some drama with her pregnancy, so that ArHi are forced to yet again postpone telling her the truth about her KP ... and Shyam uses the opportunity to sow discord between Arnav and Anjali? Thinking that Arnav-Anjali are unshakeable, so shaking Anjali's faith in Khushi will push Arnav into hating Khushi again?

Also, was happy to hear from the KN that contrary to popular belief, Arnav has not spent all his time in captivity mooning over his beloved, but has actually been troubling the kidnappers and trying to escape! :))

From the SBS/SBB, Barun is back to the shoot, so the chances of this track wrapping up soon are looking brighter and brighter! Especially as two new tracks have been started ... or rather, Payash has been revived, and Anji-ArHi started.
