Tues 27th March
And we hit 100,000 hits for the blog yesterday - thanks to you all ... you girls rock! :)) :x
Quick update: So Nani's plan takes off - to give the newly wedded couples a Bali honeymoon in Delhi ... again, am glad the comedy and light bits were for the supporting cast and the leads still had the intensity ... again, Sanaya missing in the family scenes :(
Mamaji ... who mama, what mama =)) he rocked! valet cum attendant
Mamiji ... has obviously never been to Bali ... or the cv's thought it was like Hawaii =))
Nani looked wow ...
The coconuts were an authentic touch (yes, I have been to Bali - beautiful place :) )
Anjali looked stunning in the black with her hair up.
Shyam looked quite smart, have to say.
Arnav looked positively drop dead dashing in that red shirt ... dhak dhak ... :">
Khushi looked beautiful ... I liked her in the green suit also ... wish her hair had been left open in front as well. I guess they're keeping that for the real romance.
Akash Payal ... looked nice too, I guess - didn't notice them much ;)
So Khushi makes it clear to Arnav that she's doing all this for Di too ... and only for Di. Will that ring any bells at all?
Arnav actually missed her usual fight back ... I said I'm going to change first ... didn't you hear? Aren't you going to argue?
The dance was surprisingly very good ... I made the mistake of reading a few comments from IF before watching - complaining about no chemistry ... don't know what they were watching, tbh ... if they were expecting sweet gentle romance, it wasn't there ...
This was anger, passions running high ... and once Arnav caught Shyam watching Khushi, the temperature reached flashpoint ... the junoon built ... laying claim to Khushi in front of the world - she's mine, she dances to my tune and there is not a damn thing you can do about it.
A dark character is Arnav indeed.
In the room ... still at daggers drawn, but Khushi can't help but live in the moment ... this is all so beautiful ... her romantic dream ... roses, candlelight ... and Arnav is still angry, but again, the edge from yesterday is gone ... what are they leading to ...? Locked in the room, no phones can disturb ... and he blows out the candles in a fit of petulance before he realizes that the lights are off ...
And they're actually stumbling back to that same comfort zone every time ... the most bitter of fights, yet somehow they get back to the familiarity they now share ... matches, candle ...
If this was a western show, the UST would have hit the ceiling by now ... as it is, it's crackling pretty close to the surface ... the tension was very obvious during the dance, especially the latter half ... in the room later, it kept waxing and waning ... but the RV's weren't forced ... they were well placed. And thank you, cv's ... only instrumental!!!!! yippeee!!!
But the lounger is on fire ... so does that mean the end of that little interlude already? :(
Will dissect the RV's tomorrow ...
Gargi ... Khushi was in green!!! And Arnav lost his waistcoat!!! Yippeeee!!!! Thank you, cv's!!!! One last confirmation next week - third time will cement it!

Episode starts with the brothers waiting under order, for their wives, to enter their own house ... wives appear ... and on cue, so does Mamaji ... 'who Mama what Mama ... I'm driver cum valet cum attendant' =)) Mamaji was damn good!!! ArHi and Payash all flummoxed ...
The foursome enter a transformed RM ... meet and greet by transformed Mami =)) ... coconut water ... and Mami makes a joke about the 'bin badal barsaat' :))
Transformed Nani ... Hotel Manager - graceful and very elegant - Naniji, you rock! :)
Daljeet looking a total knockout ... gives Payal welcome bouquet, and Shyam gives Khushi bouquet of red roses ... :(
Was Arnav too lost in the glare session with Shyam to notice Khushi's discomfort? Or would he have misinterpreted it anyway? And Shyam tries to cover up by saying his RS also loves red roses ... for Arnav's benefit, to convince him of his newly turned over leaf? Or for the rest of the audience, keeping his challenge to Arnav in place? Confusing, as he is apparently trying to convince Arnav he has reformed ... but he couldn't quite hide his gloat there ... is Shyam slipping up again? (Or is the script?)
So Anjali sends them to change ... 'but why? We're in our home?' 'No, you're not, you're in Bali!' And Arnav has no choice but to go along with the play-acting, but with very bad grace.
(SN - BD's for Sanaya all through, except for her closeups ... :( but her expressions stayed perfect, and today her dialogues were in place)
As he grumbles to Khushi in their room ... 'what's wrong with them all, I don't understand what they're doing.'
'They're trying to make us happy, but you won't understand that ... because you never think about giving anyone else happiness.'
No, he doesn't ... because he can't play act like she can ... he hasn't mastered the art of smiling for the world and hiding his pain like she does ... just to keep everyone around her happy. He does what he has to for his sister's happiness, but no one understands him, he can't tell anyone ... not even the girl he loves and hates both.
And he doesn't understand that it's his own happiness which would make his Di the happiest ... which is why she's going to the trouble of doing all this ...
And just a small exchange showing how used he has got to Khushi in his life, around him all the time, arguing with him, fighting with him over every little thing, bringing him back to life ...
'I'm going to change first.'
No reply, she's busy brushing out her own clothes ... sorting, folding ... not arguing ... why isn't she arguing with him? Didn't she hear him? He stops, turns back to repeat ... she didn't hear, obviously, or she would be fighting already ...
'Did you hear? I'm going first.'
'I heard you. Did I say anything? You said I have to do what you say, so all right, I will ...'
But the whole point is to win over her, to challenge her to an equal fight ... a tame victory is not what he wants ... as he suddenly realizes to his chagrin ... he wants to win, but only after a fight ...
And she won't give him one ... she's tired of being bullied again and again ... hand him his victory, and maybe he'll just go away ... and he does ... and she's not sure she likes that either ...
Anjali shows Payash to their room ... now here's a couple very happy for the Bali in Dilli honeymoon - pehle aap, pehle aap ... what a contrast! =))
Payash enter hall ...
Arnav enters ... lookin' hot hot hot ... in open-necked dark red shirt and jeans ... for once, I actually noticed what he was wearing :)) ... which means he looked good!!! :"> :))
Anjali quizzes him about his partner, and Khushi makes her entrance ... nervous, hesitant, beautiful in pink, her eyes shadowed ... and a mesmerized Arnav stares at her as she approaches him nervously ... and they have a moment as they search each others eyes again ...
(the problem with Sanaya is that she always looks stunning, even in her everyday clothes, her face and her complexion are her most striking features, not the makeup and accessories as for most heroines ... so unless she has a drastic makeover, she doesn't look very different, unless she opens her front bangs, then the sensuality comes to the forefront immediately ... I loved her dress though, it was beautiful ...)
Anjali troubled ... 'please try to forget your fights and enjoy this one night honeymoon ... for my sake.' And of course, Arnav cant refuse his sister anything.
Mamaji another Cupid - 'hold her hand, man!' So Arnav holds his out ... and Khushi puts hers in it, still troubled, still searching his eyes, why is she trying to find something when he told her it doesn't exist?
Anjali, exuberant as ever ... dance time ... errmm ... really? While the entire family just stands and watches? (But of course .. how else would we have got that passionate "She's mine and you can just keep your hands and eyes off her" statement dance?)
And Arnav again has to do what Di says ... hand out again for Khushi ... as she hesitates, 'what?' Why aren't you taking my hand?
'You want to tell me what to do every time ... so tell me now. Am getting used to it. You don't ask, you tell. So now you're asking ... I don't know what to answer ... you haven't told me yet.'
This is what you wanted, isn't it? Meek and mild, unquestioning Khushi, obeying your every command ... well, here you are ... you have her ... you won't have the real me, the real Khushi ...
No, he doesn't like this Khushi at all ... he wants his fighter back ... but he himself had banished her ... and the fire starts building ... he wants his Khushi back ... but she wants someone else ... she won't have that someone else either ... if he can't have her, no one else can ...
'Don't start dreaming again ...' don't think I will forgive you ...
Her answer should give him a clue when he starts thinking again ... 'I don't link any dreams with you now ...'
Her dreams were all linked to him ... with him ... and he shattered them ... she will not make the mistake of dreaming again ...
'I'm doing this only for ...'
She completes his sentence ... 'for Di? I know. You're not the only one. So am I.'
She can hide her tears, her pain, her unhappiness for his Di ... because she cares for Anjali.
And they dance ... first only to show the family, to show his Di ... who look on, happy at the success of their plan ... the fighting duo have made up ...
(All said and done, the Raizadas are a very caring family ... all happily took part in this drama, even Mami)
And Shyam continues to gaze at Khushi ... till Nani pulls him and Anjali onto the dance floor as well. Should have got Mama Mami to dance as well ...
The first half of the dance - to the title track ... we finally get to hear the title track ... and BS can move quite well ...
The contrast between the two honeymooning couples - one smiling, looking into each others' eyes, happy, content ... the other, no smiles, tension palpable, physically so close, emotionally miles apart ... as he leads grimly, she follows ... just follows, no trace of her usual joyfulness, her zest for dancing ... in her face or in her eyes ... her emotions dulled, deadened ... not even looking at his face, his eyes ... but his don't lift from hers ... watching her every move, feeling the lifeless obedient doll in his arms, in place of the warm vibrant woman ...
And then he sees Shyam staring at Khushi ... while Shyam's own wife is held close to him, her face, her smile adoring her faithless husband ... and Arnav looks back at Khushi dancing lifeless in his arms ... and the junoon builds ... Khushi is his ... his wife ... dare Shyam or any other man look at her ... she is his, whether she wants to be or not ... a fb of Khushi held in Shyam's arms ... no! She is in his arms, and there she will stay ... his ... only his ...
And bewildered Khushi looks at him, sensing the change of mood instantly ... the anger, the fire building ... but bewildered as to the reason for the sudden change ... bewildered, and scared as she senses the raging passion leashed tightly ...
And the second half of the dance ... a branding, a stamping of possession, a marking of territory ... mine and only mine ... to have and to hold ... to touch, to twirl, to play, to pull the strings ... and finally pulling her to end where she will always be ... in his arms. Even as the family watches in mixed shock and awe ... at the dance? Or at the raw passion on display?
And they stand frozen for a long moment, recovering ... then she raises her head to look at him ... questioning, searching ... desperately seeking answers ... he did it again ... threw her away, and then pulled her back to him ...
Final step ... locked into their room, no lights, and no mobiles ... no lights, no way out.
Payash continue their romantic evening happily ... they were actually cute ... progressing to laughter and teasing ... okay, that's enough for them ;)
Back to ArHi ... Arnav stumbles against a table, Khsuhi shows her concern, then covers up instantly ... Khushi wants to eat, tells Arnav to eat too, to have enough stamina for fighting ... (change of mood suddenly ... was this shot earlier and the storyline changed, because the angst all but vanished)
He blows out the candles ... and then discovers there's no lights ... as usual, creating the problem, and then looking for a solution ... they discover they are locked in. Good thing they already started sharing the room. And forgetting their quarrel, they go back to some kind of comfort zone ... we need matches, ok, let's look ... found them ... I'll get a candle ... and a trip fall onto the bed ... (with a lighted matchstick that has to have set some kind of record for longevity and sturdiness =)) )
Again an instrumental RV (thank you, cv's) and not a very long one ... because while Arnav is lost in the sight of Khushi by firelight, Khushi sees the burning matchstick and yelps out 'your hand' ... flinging it away ... another small RV as he helps her up, and she takes his hand, this time much less hesitatingly ... and that matchstick sets another record as it manages to set fire to the recliner ...
Thoughts - The ArHi story seems to be back on track, and I feel that the MU is getting closer to being sorted out. The feeling I got today - Khushi is trying her best to shut Arnav out of her life, because he has given her nothing but pain. In yesterday's episode, he told her to give up on her dreams, they would never come true. Today he repeated it. When she believes it, that will be the day he will get to know the truth - and it will be too late. Because then it will be her turn to not believe a single word, a single romantic gesture. And his junoon will be to win her back. Will she know what he thought about her and Shyam? Maybe - and that will further break her and worsen her mistrust ... because she won't know it was Shyam who put the thought into Arnav's head.
The dance was about Arnav showing Shyam that Khushi belongs to him, and Shyam will never get her. Again cv's are painting Arnav very dark here - true, he has an excuse that he thinks Khushi loves Shyam, but that is not uppermost in his mind at the moment, it was all about - you want her, but she will never be yours, because I will make sure of that, I will keep her chained to me. Similar to the thoughts Shyam has - whether Khushi cares for him or not, she is his, and he will have her one way or the other, even by destroying her life. So both men are objectifying the girl ... without bothering about her own wishes, her feelings, her desires ... Shyam is okay, he's the villain, but for Arnav, this is lengthening his RTR even more, and painting him a very dark grey. That's why I said this episode showed him to be a very dark character - his back story has to be really well thought out to justify this level of mistrust and angst and dark passion.
I really want a screaming match between Arnav and Khushi at some point, when she points this out to him, preferably after he confesses his love ... that he never gave her feelings a thought in all this, never asked her even once, ... that he tried her, judged her and punished her without a single chance at defense ... and this is not love. And she doesn't want it. More and more, a separation where Khushi walks out and Arnav has to beg her to come back is becoming essential. And she has to refuse to return - she will come back only for Anjali's sake, not for Arnav ... thereby proving to Arnav that she would never, ever have harmed Anjali willingly or knowingly - Anjali's sleazeball husband falling for Khushi was not in her hands or under her control.
To my mind, after this episode, it makes more sense for Arnav to discover the truth ... after Khushi's distrust of him has been cemented and she has buried her feelings for him all over again. For Khushi to discover the truth will not take the story forward in any meaningful way - what will she do? He has decided not to believe her ... how can she convince him? And knowing that he could believe such a thing about her, that she would willingly break up a marriage, that too, his sister's ... would she even want to try? If at all she does discover the truth, then again I want her to walk out ... and let him discover the truth himself. In both scenarios, therefore, once Khushi finds out what Arnav thought of her, there has to be a separation with her leaving him. That will be the real 'saansein ruk jayengi' moment ... and the realization of Khushi's words in the temple ... when his realization comes that he misjudged her, she will not be there.
Cv's, dear Cv's ... did you put Khushi in a green suit for those first few minutes just to give us our ishaara? Thank you, CV's ... can we have Khushi in white next week for a final confirmation, please? Tougher one, because Khushi doesn't usually wear white - for the morning pooja, maybe?
And we hit 100,000 hits for the blog yesterday - thanks to you all ... you girls rock! :)) :x

One More shiddat Granted.......:)

Kya mam aap toh us comment ke baad gaayab hi ho gayi Fri ko.
Sama,
DeleteThat was a sixer ... sach bola ...
Biwi baat nahi maane toh problem ... Biwi baat maane toh bahuuuuut jaada problem!
Now Khushi should figure out what irks Arnav ... easy as pie ... keep quiet and agree to his every command ... He won't know what's hit him! Problem is, uske liye yeh karna bahuuut problem hai!!!
sama, did you see his heart break a bit when she said.. "you decide and i will do"? totally ooc in that scene, but so apt. directorji, aap mahaan ho!
Delete@Gargi - have to say this - did you notice ODB's brown and white belt! -ROFL
ReplyDeletemona, the belt, the dark denim, the trainers.. aww hotwa.. i think his stylist is amazing.. itna acha saja liya unko.. and his makeup and hair..
DeleteCongrats on hitting a milestone Dia! Your blog is as addictive as the show............can't do without my daily dose of comments!! Enjoyed today's epi tremendously, especially the way they changed the pace after Arnav caught Shyam ogling Khushi............also loved Nani for her ideas..............poor Khushi - she was totally flummoxed...........& she thought she was the only drama queen....heh, heh, heh........
ReplyDeletegive us atleast an initial to call you.. we all know, naniji is one smart cookie!
DeleteJaya, Aki here
DeleteDia...agree on the dance totally....It was what it was meant to be....BS rocked it....totally....SI.....fantastic as always....This is what i like about SI, she stays in character always..here she was meant to look hesitating as she was being lead by this dark character (Dia, rightly named Arnav) whom she can't understand no matter how hard she tries ...she made us forget what a fantastic dancer she is and instead we were looking at a Khushi who was being lead by her possessive lover. The change in A's expression on noticing Shyam's eyes on K was perfect. Teri meri and this dance were as different from each other as chalk and cheese inspite of csome common steps. Can't believe they were same actors performing on both.
ReplyDeleteThese two just have to be in the same frame to light it up..No need for any aag..seriously...
There were earlier spoilers given by the Zee girl, who had been hinting at this upping the intensity and passion to the level of obsession by Arnav; are we to hope that the story is reaching that important level?
I am not sure if the earlier spoilers about K getting sick is really true...maybe that was a damp squib...This aag may also peter out but today i want to quote Billy Joel in a different context
Say Khushi and Arnav
"We didn't start the fire
It was always burning
Since the world's been turning
We didn't start the fire
No we didn't light it
But we tried to fight it"
Rekha, I don't know ... but I did remember the word junoon that Zee_News used ... and it sure looked like it fitted Arnav today ... he danced like he was possessed, and like he wanted to stamp his mark of ownership on Khushi for ever ... fab usage of background music to set that mood ... it was dark and dangerous.
DeleteAnd the fire was back ... you know what I remembered - the scene in Gone With The Wind where Rhett Butler and Scarlett have a huge roaring fight, and he carries her up to bed and makes love to her in anger ... and that's when she realizes she loves him ... the same dark passions were ruling during the dance ...
But of course, with the fire, they won't show that ... in fact, I wonder if they'll even spend the night in the room at all tomorrow.
And agree with you about SI too ... she is always in character ... here too, she's such a fab dancer, but here she was just a puppet in his hands ... dominated by his force, recognizing the change of mood in him, the darkness, the suppressed fury, and completely bewildered by it ... her expressions were fantastic! Both were damn good ... the dance was intense, the hatred and the passion both on display, so even the watching family members were bewildered at those waves emanating from the couple!
Deleterekha, dia, yes, sarun were amazing in the performance today.
Deletethe dance was intense.. he was totally dominating her..and she was submissive to it. she accepted his leadership.. and then , later in the room, when his leg hit the sidetable, she said.. good, you got punishment. means she knows what he was doing during the dance and accepted that.
i loved the choreography.. almost similar to teri meri, but totally different mood.. felt like a punch in the gut. did you get that today he picked her up facing him.. and slid her down.. bcos he, and only he.. has the right to do it..
Absolutely Rekha...especially considering barun isn't a dancer and this dance was all Arnav he did a brilliant job leading and Sanaya did a brilliant job letting go..both equally hard I think...
DeleteYep, Barun isn't a dancer, but he did great, I thought - even in the first more light-hearted part, his moves were smooth and fluid ... and the second part toh both of them rocked - it wasn't a dance, it was his junoon, and it was portrayed VERY effectively, I thought!
DeleteMmmh, so the lounger is on fire huh? So with arnav's discomfort in the poolside, he's not going back there and he certainly isn't sending her there, or rtr is stretching waaaay too far, looks like there's gonna have to be yet another change in sleeping arrangements, the bed maybe?;) if he makes her sleep on the floor instead i'm gonna be so angry! Also maybe this fire will lead to Arnav comforting khushi? Don't dare to hope that they both think they're gonna die and he asks her about shyam I guess "SIGH"
ReplyDeleteHAA ji yahi par hoon. ....... Can't load comments or add comments after it reaches 50 through mobile. PC for some reason has become a very strange creature to me. Don't like using it until absolutely neccessary.
ReplyDeleteSN: this is mega serial right ..... how can they unfold everything together?? Deere deere ..... Sabr se kaam lo .... Let the team work with there own pace .... Today when arnav bitwa was getting annoyed at everytime she agreed to his words, even last week made sense. Our PH may not have that much money as other PH but its got good actors and characters.
I love how Arnav's love is always displayed at physical level...... Yes he did connect to her on other grounds like their similar past, her possesiveness for her sister but it has always been this attraction ..... Thats why he does not doubt what he saw in terrace even once. He does not know the real Khushi. Why should he ??? She never really put her guards down completely, not her fault either with his bi-polar attitude. He has shown his caring side to Khushi, she knows abt it hence the confusion of not being able to relate. I loving this display of so many various emotions. This is the reason I love IPKKND. It is all about LOVE and many more emotions that makes it whole.
sama, exactly!
Deletearnav LOOKS LIKE he has only seen the outer beauty of khushi..ie he is attracted to her... but thats not true.
he knows more. her chirpiness, her ease of making friends, her strong convictions, her pagalpan, her suppressing her grief to make others happy, her middle class values, her stubbornness.. everything he knows because he observes her so closely.. and asks her whenever he had a doubt. and she always answers him, except in certain major issues.
he KNOWS her.. and he knows she is capable of duplicity(like when she danced desi girl for her sis when she was brokenhearted after the engmt)
which was why he so easily believed that she and snake were betraying him.
and yes, that is the main attraction of this serial to me too..
but honestly, desire has to be at the forefront, right? I mean, which redblooded guy does NOT desire his lady love? it will be unnatural if there is no UST. (and thats what makes it a mills&boon romance)
And also, girls, many men do express their love only with the physical touch ... especially the strong silent types, which Arnav is supposed to be. He is not comfortable with words ... his care, his love, even his anger and his jealousy are all expressed through physical gestures.
Deleteyes jaya I love this display of physical attraction.......i agree with your point he knows her strong character (may be the reason he does not think twice to hurt her, he knows she is strong and can take it ........reason her quiet self bothers him) and she is capable of duplicity but he does not know the reasons behind ..... Why she does what she does?? He knows all he sees, thats HIM.
ReplyDeleteFN: kuch kha lijiye ....aap ko gussa karne ke liye takat ki zaroorat hogi ..... Rofl
Dia .... Hot Hot Title ..... Off to dreamland ..... Muaaahh
PART 1
ReplyDeleteDia today's episode...
'Burning up the dance floor and the bedroom-literally not metaphorically (unfortunately;-)'...
or simply
...'It's getting hot in here...;-)'
Hehehe...
Loved the family memeber today...
Mamaji was just too cute! who mama? what mama? and his genuine confusion when khushi tells him to put Arnav's briefcase down.. should I listen to madam or should I follow Anji's instructions...
Loved the actor-sorry dunno his name...Also liked the part when Mami says 'come on come on' and mama mimicks her 'come on!' to the tee- ROFL all the way...
Mami as always -she proved again today that she deserves the SPA mazedaar comment...But yes her ensemble was an explosion of every beach holiday destination you can think of:-D
Nani! I agree with the girls...we bow down to thee- you are one funky 20 something year old behind that firm nani facade!...Nani sooo looked the part of the receptionist/ people who get you the coconut waters and garlands when you arrive!
Anji-Whoa!! she looked HOT! Shyam is insane. I'm sorry but wifey looked seriously smoking today. Had absolutely no reason to look at anyone!
Not quite sure who Shyam was at 'Hotel Bali'(hahaha reminds me of the song Hotel California- bet Arnav was also feeling that way...'you can check out anytime...but you can never leave...LOL)
Loved the little touches...the Huge golden urns with candles and rose petals, the coconut water, garlands all very bali...Loved their name tags...too cute!
The Rooms Part 1.
Loved how they contrasted Arhi and Payash today (personal shiddat:-)-wanted that for ages never really said it aloud)...
Khushi toh phir bhi reh legi Arnav ke bina but this guy cannot function without biwi. Even when she doesn't utter a word...didn't you hear me being all dictatorial? why aren't you arguing? I have a snappy retort ready darling. (btw liked the little music bit they played here...is it new or did I miss it in previous Arhi sparring?)
Payash ever the sappy sweet couple...pehle aap nahi pehle aap...worked in light of the whole contrast being shown.
good one.. but where were they changing? that was not their room..
DeleteThink they were changing in Aakash and Payals room cuz the wall paper was the same as that of Payashs room
Deletebut payash bed and pillows were different..
DeleteI don't even ask now ... I have long given up on the geographiya of the RM :)))
DeletePART 2
ReplyDeleteThe Dance...
I was little skeptical when we fist got wind of this spoiler...but it was executed perfectly- No complaints.
I like how they began on the wrong foot itself...Don't start dreaming (about me...about us...because I stopped- the day I saw you in Jijaji's arms)...
How can you ever be a part of my dreams..(you've made it crystal clear Mr. Raizada how much you hate me. So even though you broke my heart I'm not fessing up to any more hurt I feel because of you.)
Loved how the song started of sweet, playful fun...Arnav was really just focusing on the dancing bit and Khushi was feeling all hesitant and nervous...the track played for this part was perfect..Love the ipkknd track here...melodious and sweet...and then the build up...Arnav sees Shyam staring at his wife- no correction at the woman Arnav loves but who is in love with his sisters husband. The dance was not about romance or love. It was possessive and had a really dark energy an edgy quality almost.
Both Barun and Sanaya performed really really well. IMO the dance was more about Arnav' anger, frustration and passion -so it was him in control and Khushi just twirling at his command...Sort of felt like the current theme...Its all about Arnav's heartbreak, his torment, love and loathing for Khushi. Even now he is controlling her-the only thing he has control over. He cannot stop Shyaam from desiring her (ogling her even while she dances with him) but he can keep her away from anyone else.
I loved the increased tempo of the same song...it was very fast very intense very much a perfect reflection of where Arhi are right now.
I think that because of Sanaya's days off some off the dance had background family memebers and some bits didn't-but even this worked for me because it felt like even though they were there they weren't even registered by Arnav and Khushi lost in their own whirlwind romance.
This dance worked really well stayed true to ASR one hundred percent...so glad they didn't show a romantic number. this worked way better..pulled at heart went dhak dhak right alongside mind going...Whoa...
Agree with every word ... although the whole honeymoon set up and the loving but affectionate family could have been done much better ... and how cheapskate is this PH, yaar ... couldn't hire a set for a hotel honeymoon for a night?
DeleteBut the dance worked for me ... big time!!! It wasn't a dance ... it was Arnav's junoon taking over ...
PART 3
ReplyDeleteThe Rooms part 2:
Even Arnav was lost momentarily at his Di’s handiwork- see she can do up a honeymoon suite nicely- the first time round her heart wasn’t really in it thats why the ugly decor...this room was done up very nicely thank you very much.
Payash the quintessential cute just married couple...I liked their scenes...the subtle teasing and cheesy romance-
Well Arhi are neither subtle nor cheesy...they’re either super HOT or super sadoo- huh-kind of like Arnav- he clearly calls the shots in that relationship, Khushi melts in moments when he turns on the charm...too bad cell phone ke saath laptop bhi confiscate nahi kiya...bitya goes in biwi mode-
Strike 1. Your hurt?-oops no concern- Good some small retribution
Strike 2. This girl can eat anytime anywhere!-ROFL....Come eat something- worried about you hell no!- I put up a good fight mister and you need the energy to fight back
Strike 3. The good thing about a candlelit dinner? I don’t have to see you glaring at me!
And KKGSR you’re out-Arnav finally fed up blows out candles...in donon ki dimaag ki batti toh jalti nahi hai ab bedroom ki batti bhi bhuj gayi...LOL
The RV with the everlasting matchstick was also cute...Gentle reminder that say what you both want the undercurrent is something else all together...It’s getting HOT in here...
Wonder if the fire is another track for Arnav taking care of a not okay Khushi or a way to dodge the sleeping arrangements by killing the Bali night or was it a way for the recliner to be put out of action and move the action to the big bed...(No MIG...Mind got bored waiting waiting waiting...Nothing happens with them so Mind wandered off...:-(
Hahaha even the room got bored of waiting!...o it spontaneously combusted...(sorry for the epic lameness but had to put that out there...LMAO)
DeleteGargi...chemistry lessons finally being put to some use there..
DeleteOn the dialogues in the room post dance from K's end obviously were at variance with the mood....( as dia and everyone has been pointing out) I don't know if this intentional...like as if to say, how much ever u try to put her down K will rise like a phoenix but i think, a variation is really required.....i wish they would show K hurt and somehow K's barbs pre-dance were more like it...
Cvs want to show a change in Khushi only after her realisation of the truth but they can make small variations in her demeanour else it seems as if, she forgets every insult thrown her way...yes...she does fight back...thank CVs for that...but they can slightly tone down that chirpy nature around A for a while..what do u guys think?
totally agree with you Rekha......even i thought that they want to show a drastic change in khushi after knowing wat arnav thought of her...... this will hurt arnav n us a lot.....esp if arnav knows the whole truth by then....
Deletebut read on IF that maybe these shots were shot earlier before they changed the track from comedy to intense and so had to fit it in, somehow......
Agree with Rekha, I want Khushi's chirpiness around Arnav to tone down a bit, to show her hurt and her sorrow at her dreams being broken ... her mood should be chirpy around the family, but in front of Arnav, she doesn't need to pretend. The scene when they went to change was better - she was quiet, and said yes, I'll obey you, and he didn't like that ... that's what I want to see more of.
DeleteOk. fresh now. "dilli mein bali hotel". this is a critique, not an appreciation post.
ReplyDelete1. where did khushi and payal come from? no pooja thal, no shopping bags, no backstory.. I assume they were out at least half a day for the house to be transformed..
2. mamaji.. was excellent. his comic timing with "mona" was perfect too.
3. is ASR's trademark gonna be 'what the hell' now? I thought that was reserved for stupendous occasions like seeing a bare man-chest on his bedroom wall..
4. where did they change? that room looked beautiful. but it was not their room.. okay, i get it, their room was re-decorated so they could not go in there.. but then payash should have the same courtesy, right?
5. when payash came down.. why was snake looking so happy with a 70mm smile? if the guy forgets his character, please at least move him out of the shooting frame!
6. anjali teases arnav that he forgot the main ingredient for his honeymoon.. his partner! (where are we? in brokeback mountain?)the phrase should have been patni!
7. bitwa holds his missijj by hand.. then why is anji pushing them from behind to the sofa?
8. and again.. just sit down, and then get up and dance? would it be so bad to give at least a few dialogues in between?(or no need to sit.. yes you came.. come on lets dance )
9. music.. yes I know the background was the title track, but how come there is a dance floor and not even a boombox for music? what sort of a dilli-bali hotel is this? you expect music to come from the background.. or from the hearts.. and everyone hears the same music? even in the second part?
10. the 'hotel staff' were waiting around watching the honeymoon couples dance. was it a romantic interlude or a performance? what's the use of a honeymoon if there is family watching all the time?
11. loved the contrast you made between of payash and arshi.. the sweet part of the dance. especially the bit where the guys were walking around the girls.
12. hmmm...mmm..mm. nah. nothing there. they set the screen on fire.
13. honeymoon suite specialty.. lots of candles! we saw only two in suite 101.. but there were enough to light a wedding in suite 102..
14. I thought it would be dinner and dancing.. but no, it was dancing and in-suite candlelight dinner. okay. where was the food? we saw napkins, spoons.. no dinner? only a bheegi si salad?
15. okay, suite 101 is in darkness now.. but how did all the candles in suite 102 die? oh there still are candles burning there.. yet suddenly darkness falls? what setting yaar. at least you should change the background acc to the script..
16. the whole nok-jhok in the bedroom lacked the emotional seriousness of the preceding scene. from various comments, I get that maybe it was shot previously and added to the episode, but here, khushi and arnav were in buddy mode.. more like last week.. than dead inside, as they should have been today.
what guys? not even a shuddup? where is everyone?
DeleteAm rofling at your no. 12 ... bolti band on that one!
Delete13 - yaar, Anjali knew that action would start soon enough in suite 101, no point wasting too many candles on setting up romantic ambience there for unromantic brother ... give them to the people who will whisper sweet nothings for some time - they need the light for longer!
14 - why do these people never eat in serials???
And yes, you described it perfectly for the last scene - they should have been dead inside, especially after that dance .. how did they get back to nok jhok stage? Hope Sanaya is back from her holiday - poor girl, we don't even let her have her break peacefully!
dia, mm hmm they need the light for longer.. can you believe they are still acting like they havent had their SR ..even after one month? maybe akash was waiting for the honeymoon ;)
Deleteuuummm...Jaya!!Shuuudddddduuuupppppp!!!! :D there i said it !!!
ReplyDeletehow could you????
didnt notice anything positive huh???
well anita, three of the points were positive.. but if the cvs think that I will forget the whole background once redhot ASR comes on screen, (well, they're right)
Deletehm excuse me. on the second or third watch, we have to notice the surroundings too, right?
Answer for Point 14... People never eat in serials because there is no one to cook for them...when we were kids and watched plays where the artist had to drink tea etc...we would focus on his hands, to check if he is really gulping something.... (btw, kuch blue pottery ke do bowls tho the udhar....to give them some credit)
ReplyDeleteSeriously...come to think of it....is this how anji baby will behave everytime she has an inkling of their fights...set it up romantically for these two....then thats the only thing she will be doing!!
Rekha, eating scenes are difficult to show because they have to keep eating through many re-takes. like I don't know how many times sanaya ate a piece of carrot. but at least the intent has to be there right? all it would take are a few closed casseroles on the table.. suggesting that food was there. If they got to the trouble of redecorating the whole Rm, they could have bought a few dishes..
DeleteJaya,
Deleteabbe chidaa rahi hai kya omnibus ka naam lekar *pokes tongue out*
Dude guess anji the biggest MIG in RM thot what need for food for these 2 love birds - aakhir bhaag ke shaadi ki hai, thr was passionate dance (u guys say so) toh next item on agenda toh seedhe bed se hi churoo hoga naa :P:P
Khaana - what khaana, kaisa khaana?
ROFL
Sandy,
DeleteIts exactly this vishesh tippani we want from u...*hugs* so please do find time..
U rightly named anji as the biggest MIG in RM ( thodi tubelight hain par jab batti jali toh...apne efforts mein earnest hain bechari...even if she is unwitting KMH at times)
Yaar!! not fair.
ReplyDeletework picks up pace and deadlines loom just as IPK gets interesting. last week was drab at work and for IPK too :(
I am yet to see teh epi - yeh kya hai!!!
wait one week and watch it together.. and write another omnibus. :D miss your take sandy! hire an assistant to do work while we watch IPK ;D
DeleteSandy, find 20 minutes to watch the episode at least, yaar ... need your vishesh tippani on the dance. Rest of the episode was out of context for me ... continuity issues!!!
DeleteHeloooooooo Everyone*Hugs*
ReplyDeleteDia: Soooo glad to know your dad is doing well. My best wishes for his speedy recovery.
A biiiiiiiig thankyou to everyone who posted the last week and helped me to be in touch with the happenings of the show.
Will catch up with the epis and post later, but from the sound of things, I am not too happy with the way things have gone the past week.
All I want to say is I don't recognize this Arnav or Khushi and want the ones whom I fell in love with back.
WT????
Will be back for more:)
