So Khushi is definitely not Gopi vhau =)) ... proved beyond doubt. I thought I would cringe at the dhobi ghat, but I didn't ... Khushi single minded in her quest to bug the life out of Arnav ... is it because she wants him to throw her out, or her unconscious desire to be a part of his life forever? And Arnav is definitely melting slowly ... slowly ... biwi with wet hair is a total turn on for bitwa! :))
Bathroom battles - cute ... and so real!
Firing from Di's shoulder - seizing the opportunity and the moment =)) when Arnav can't do a darn thing to stop her - smart girl, using her head.
Also using her head for something even better - dropping something on Shyam's foot - finally getting wise to the ways of the Reptilewa.
And RRR is getting more and more audacious ... He is such a creep ... ogling Khushi with his wife in the same room! And Khushi realizes she has to do something about it =D> ... but what?!
Good episode ... a small dose of Rabba ve for the phangirls ... and a good dose of storyline ... even Akash located his spine again!

Well done ... needs to burn off that excess energy somewhere ;) Khushi waits expectantly for the exact moment to start her drama ... the fight for who uses the bathroom first ... ( I used to fight to go second ;) ) ... another claim to being wife, which goes uncontested .. he definitely doesn't want her to tell the family that the marriage is for six months ... but he gets the bathroom ...round one to Arnav ...
(SN - the bathroom needs some renovation - a tycoon's bathroom??? horrible!)
Not for long ... the poolside is the site for the next skirmish ... round two definitely to Bitiya ... methinks just the sound of her very besura singing won her the round even before the dhobi ghaat ... :)) And if her intention is to show him that she has no 'kilass', she succeeded ... =)) the first sight of that bat would have done the trick!
Finally the pool was put to some use - never seen anyone swim in it till date ... or even fall in!
So she gets the bathroom first ... But she's not done yet - 'Suniye, aapka tauliya ... aapke kapde ... yeh bhi ... suniye ... ok, nothing ... no more ...'
Khushi can really get away with blue murder with Arnav ... he just can't do a thing! Except grit his teeth and fume! Don't blame him for that one actually ...
And she seems to have completely lost whatever little fear she ever had of Arnav ... she's actually goading him to lose his temper on her ... the wonder is that he's not losing it yet .. that he's controlling himself ...
Partly because he does remember ... and acknowledge? what he feels for her ... one more shiddat ... niharofying bitiya as she dries her hair :"> ... getting so lost that he even forgets what he was saying ... and he finally gives in after another sneeze ... 'fine! I'll have my bath earlier!'
'As you wish!' with bright smile :) as though it was all his idea in the first place, and she's only agreeing like a good wife =))
One last salvo, as he picks up her clothes by mistake ... 'I do agree you're never wrong, but I really don't think this color will suit you ...'
Poor Arnav! When he married Khushi, don't think he ever realized what exactly he was getting himself into. Plus a very unwise thing to do ... the way he did it, she has absolutely nothing to lose ...

Shyam's ears perk up ... but his suspicions aren't yet established one way or the other ... Khushi is giving nothing away yet.
Liked the way Arnav takes the curd away from Khushi ... gruff concern, and still not sure whether she's fooling or not ... if she is, serve her right, if she isn't, well, he's the caring, concerned hubby, isn't he? He covered both options very neatly there, and let her know it ...
But her mischievous smile, and Arnav noticing it ... she's ready to play more games, and he's on the watch out for them ... nehle pe dehla ...
Mami-Payal ... no wonder Payal has no time to wonder about Shyam, all her attention is on manaong her saasuma ... dunno why she was so hesitant and tearful about tasting the tea in the first place ... as though she really had poisoned it ... silly! And Akash finds his backbone again ... does the tasting for her, and then leaves.
SN - this length of scene is more than enough for Payash-Mami games.

So Anjali horrified that Khushi hasn't unpacked yet - after all, she's now going to be permanently here ... Arnav's eyes fall at that statement ...
Arnav-Khushi eye exchanges ... him- I know what you're doing, don't think I don't ...
Her - I know you know, so what? What are you going to do about it? What can you do about it?!
Her mendacious, 'butter won't melt in her mouth' attitude to Anjali ... coupled with the shy soft smiles to Arnav, as though she is Blushing Bride personified ... Arnav forced to capitulate, as Khushi and Anjali move Khushi's clothes into the cupboard ... bringing bright vibrant splashes of color into it, and pushing the somber blacks to one side ... including the shoes ;)
How many times have I told my husband the same thing ... why do you need so many identical black pairs of shoes?! =))
And Arnav's shoes are packed away to make way for Khushi's ... as well as for her gharelu nuske ... if he can still put up with her after this, he has to be totally crazy in love with her! =))
and next step already started ... Occupy his Room :)) As Arnav can't take any risk with Di and her baby ... and he's still not quite sure whether Khushi is faking her cold or not ... but if she isn't, he can't let her sleep outside either ...
And Reptilewa makes his move, getting more and more audacious, with his new-found confidence and knowledge ... the suggestive words, the leering, making her more and more uncomfortable ... so she takes some action quickly ... dropping a heavy pestle on RRR's foot, and making her escape.
But he comes back again as she massages Anjali, with more suggestive words, more leering, which she cannot mistake at all ... Anjali continues to be blind, encouraged by Shyam ... you stay blind, Rani Sahiba while I make my moves ...
A very worried Khushi ... RRR is getting more and more dangerous ... he's making his moves openly now, even in front of his wife, losing all control ... reaching out to touch her hand ... again she circumvents desperately ... 'Anjaliji, open your eyes' ... open your eyes and see what's happening ...
Shyam frustrated yet again ... she will not let him come near her ...
But Khushi is very worried now ... realizing slowly that Shyam is not giving up his pursuit at all ... how on earth is she to stop him?
Thoughts- I liked the last bit of the episode more than the first half ... Khushi annoying Arnav, while amusing to watch, didn't add much to the story, while the Shyam-Khushi scenes definitely did ...
What is Khushi going to do? At least she has realized she has to do something.

I did it today!!!!!!!!!!! Despite all the commotions, practised my selective hearing and managed to watch the episode today,lol.

As far as symbolisms go, I loved the cupboard scene.
Anjali is standing between Arnav and Khushi....The distance between them is in some ways because of her, yet Anjali is the one who is helping Khushi exercise Sadda Haq on Arhi marriage.
Liked the episode today.
Will she bump into Arnav now with the tel? And Wow, Khushi's Bedroom Pravesh finally is going to happen.....Now maybe with Khushi getting really sick (hopefully), Her Bedpravesh will happen soon:)

1) the curd scene was it HMC from ODB? Acco to him, she is not sick, right?
2) His asking her to move in to the room....apparently for Di I have a feeling K may wander off in the night to the poolside and fall ill later bringing on the actual illness. Or is she ill already...somehow it was not clear at all if K was ill or not?
CVs need to balance out the chirpy and mature Khushi...the difference is too jarring at the moment...seem like two diff characters...
I say this becos on the one hand, K is shown as wanting to be thrown out of RM thru her antics, on the other hand, she is shown as realising that KJ is a big threat...BUT what will she do about it? She has to start making connections soon or these will look like parallel tracks and never the Twain shall meet.

I , too, was thinking that the mature khushi who has serious feelings seems soo far removed from the prankster.. maybe tone down the seriousness a bit? it was jarring in the "did you remember"scene yesterday.. especially when her voice changed from husky sad to chirpy fighter at the bathroom door.
and the pool being the bermuda triangle, every time she wakes up, she seems to revert to chirpy titaliya!

@ rekha and shwetha : about khushi's character... yes, I do agree too that at this point of time they are seeming like two different characters..but I was thinking, maybe that is what the CVs want to show too?? After all, its true that people do change...they don't remain the same.. maybe just like they want to show ASR turning into Arnav, they want to show that Khushi tones down from her high energy chirpy self? Nevertheless, I do agree, that this boundary is a bit too wide and obvious at the moment..it should become much more blur for both the character traits to seem like just one person... but that I guess is because of the tracks the CVs are handling...while the "ASR ko irritate karne ke 100 tarike" requires a bubbly, chirpy Khushi..the "stopping Shyam's advances and exposing him" track requires a much more mature and thinking Khushi.. so that's why I think they should probably just focus only on one track at the present...or maybe link the two soon, like u said.. :)
DeleteI dunno ... I didn't find it too bad today ... maybe, like I said, I was expecting far worse ... this much of chirpiness I can handle. And also, somewhere inside, Khushi has accepted Arnav as her husband ... and she has always taken pangas with him ... he is being surprisingly tolerant because his own feelings have changed, and he has realized that ... otherwise she would never have got away with everything she did. I got the feeling that though he was seething, he didn't really mind the takeover of his cupboard - that one I did cringe a bit at ... Chyawanprash and chameli ka tel alongside designer suits ... :D Jazzy sandals alongside designer shoes is perfectly okay - meri cupboard mein bhi aisa hota hai!

They will have to show K dropping this sau tarike plan very soon..., it has had its uses..if the intention was to show that A has met his match in K, its been proved over and over again..As Dia put it, A has also accepted her and her craziness becos his feelings have changed. I am sure CVs will have many opportunities to show the differences and how unique their love story in newer circumstances too...
Dia, about the breakfast table scene, I think the expression of K meant that she gets an idea to put to plan No. 3 using TQ hence that twinkle in her eye.. A's expression was probably to indicate that due to Di's condition, K cannot sleep outside...
I think it's simply that Autocratic Arnav brings out the rebellious fun slightly loony khushi and the TF situation brings out the mature thinking Khushi and the 'humare dhadkanein' Arnav brings out the ...husky aapko kuch yaad hai?

And she can act loony with Arnav, because he takes care of her ... she has always had to be the responsible one in her family, with him she can be a naughty child, and enjoy her craziness, and he will keep her in check. Her family can't deal with Sanka Devi ... he can. Much like his family can't handle khadoos Arnav, she can.
With TF, she has to be in control, both of the situation and of herself.

Deletealso Dia - to add to your point - i too feel they are deceiving themselves that all this coz of their respective sisters - it is very much for themselves as well. they both in their heart of hearts know that neither would harm the other's sister - hence during confession time - neither doubted the other's intentions or questioned why the sisters were the targets - they just need to accept this bit though!
SN: i felt when TQ was helping ODG - she was standing between the two - it was like she was holding the hands of two Waring kids and saying 'patch up' or don't play - and don't play is definitely not an option with these two ;)
Dia, Mads, I love that she is totally free with Arnav, taking panga with him, dragging him into fights and convos..she used to do it earlier too, but there is a situation at hand...Arnav has told her, she hurt him, Snakewa is getting creepier, rather than thinking of ways to annoy arnav to throw him out, she should be thinking ways to get him to confess the truth about the marriage. That is where both Arnav and Khushi are approaching this wrongly..they are too busy in countering each other that the real culprit is getting more dangerous.

I guess the problem is we are never shown khushi thinking about Arnav and her feeling towards him so we are confused ki what is happening.
Mona: The thing is both the sisters are a bit self centered. Anjali has still not been able to guess something amiss and Payal has never even once questioned Khushi with TF being around, how is she coping?

Deleteoh yes, Payash and mami scene was short and sweet.. :) I still want Payal to develop a spine herself, but I can totally see why she is unable to...mami's character is very menacing when required and an innocent and naive person like Payal will never be able to tackle it.. Akash's character is also in place I think...no matter how his mum is, he has never been able to answer her back rudely or anything..all he can do is tackle it in his own fashion... and that's what he is doing.. but that's the amount of time I like watching mami-payal scenes.. :P they should limit it to that in every episode..

Akash maintains a fine balance making sure he does not come too much as a joru ka gulaam or amma ka beta...I really wish he gets more to do especially with regards to Khushi.

DeleteLOVED the epi.. :)) A drooling on K as she is wiping her hair.. cliched scene, nevertheless, always pleasant to watch :) and more so with ArHi... hadn't gambled for that one when u asked her for marriage, had u, A?? :P well..u are going to get lots and lots of it now...back sako to bacha lo apne aap ko! LOL.. Well, I loved all of khushi's childish antics...more so, because in some ways or the other they paved in the way for strenghthening their bond.. first one "bathroom pe raaj.." and the second one "almaari pe kabzaa" .. but of them, very very crucial points of a newly wedded husband-wife relationship I think..don't know if the CVs are going that deep, but esp the cupboard sharing seemed like that to me! Her colourful clothes and accessories next to his black and white ones are also very very symbolic..his life is about to change..its going to be filled with lots n lots of colours and there is nothing he can do about it now.. he is going to have to accept it too!! :)
ReplyDeleteLoved K when she tackled Shyam..both when she drops the pestel and then later on when she takes the tissue paper out.. hate the guts of the spine! :X But I am glad K has finally realised that he is posing out to be a real danger..
But now I have again another question...because the pace of the epi was very fast today.. not only do we see K realising that shyam can be a danger..but also A becoming more and more relaxed around khushi..and seems to be captivated by her charm yet again and this time not even bothering to stop and curse himself.. is it because he has finally given up on himself and succumbed to his feelings?? Or because Barun needed some rest and the CVs need some time to figure out what his reaction should be next?? :P Me hopes its the first..and if its the first then I have another question : K thinking about ways to stop Shyam v/s K thinking about ways to irritate A.. which one should go first? From what it seems so far, K thought that once she is out of Shyam's life he will concentrate on his wife..so right now, the focus for her is irritating A so that he himself kicks her out of the house...she still doesn't know the real reason A married her..even though she had once briefly thought whether Shyam might be the reason, she hasn't done anything about it later on.. I think she should stop focussing on irritating A and focus rather on Shyam..I would like it if she confronts him directly and asks him to tell her whatever she said to him on the holi day..and blackmail him into telling the truth somehow!
Will edit completely later ... I liked the second half of the episode better than the first ... although have to say, I was dreading the dhobi ghat scene, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. But I am SO glad that Khushi is finally waking up to the dangers posed by RRR ... that bit about Shyam telling Anjali brazenly, 'keep your eyes shut and enjoy yourself,' and Khushi telling Anjali 'open your eyes, Di,' was so symbolic ... so will Khushi be the one to open Anjali's eyes to the truth?

I liked Shyam today ... he was all Slimeball personified ... good, good, time he made a move, otherwise the story will remain stuck on ArHi's bedroom games ... of the juvenile variety.
I think Khushi does have a cold which she is exaggerating for Arnav's benefit ... or maybe she doesn't have one yet, and will get it ... and he won't believe it at first - case of crying Wolf? But he did believe it today - he wouldn't have told her to move into the bedroom unless he had - or was it the concern for Di's child which did it for him? Am confused - will rewatch and decide! :)

@ Jaya : another MU from A's end?? hmmm..maybe to make A realise what his marriage was supposed to be all about...and that he should stop drooling on K and hold up his guard a bit.. but the problem here is that he has given (acc to him) the worst ever punishment for K for having feelings for shyam.. what more can he do when he comes to know of the fact that she has told shyam the truth of their marriage?? Or will he confront khushi and ask her directly? But that will be another dead-end..and how will that MU end? and more importantly, what will it bring??
DeleteNo..I think that the logcical way now would be for K to concentrate on the fact that Shyam is becoming dangerous and then go back to thinking what she might have revealed to him on the holi day that is making him so confident?? And also somehow put things together and figure out what the marriage was all about...
The only problem in the second scenario is that if they show her remember her words to Shyam, then they will have to show her remember her words to A and his response to that as well.. and once that happens she will melt down completely..

@ diya : I think as usual bitwaa is using the pretense of "di ke liye" kar raha hun to hide his concern for Khushi..no doubt he is worried about his hone waala bhanjaa and his di's health, but his concern today was purely for khushi...esp after the way he was drooling at her wiping her wet hair... he is slowly letting down his guard.. but that's also what's bothering me too! :P Anyway, I have no idea what the precap was, because they don't upload that..and haven't watched the SBS/SBB for the upcoming news too.. so can't say much yet!
ReplyDeleteI think that honestly it should be his own beloved di that says something to Arnav to jalo his batti, something like, khushi's been through a lot, losing parents breaking her own engagement etc, then he could have a menthos moment with the shyam name thing, realize the truth and get payal to confirm? Then ask for k's help to bring Scorpio down then after apologise for everything tell her the truth and all and finally have her leave angry and make him move mountains to bring her back. One problem with the cvs, after he refuses to tell her k simply what? Forgets about it? Stops asking why he married her? Ooh maybe she could confess everything to Arnav thinking it will shock him If she can't think of any other way to stop snakey and then add in all the stuff about pg at her house, forced engagement etc

ReplyDeleteI liked today's episode much better than yesterday's. Initially it felt like it was leaning too much on the comedy side. But Boom!! Enter Creewa and equation completely changed. Abhaas was just fantastic today (can't believe I'm saying this). I was literally cringing when he was upto his antics in front of Anjali but this as much better than the twitching thing he does :-)

ReplyDeleteI was wondering how much worse is it going to get for Khushi....as of now, she has managed to wrest gud amount of control of the situation...yes..its a compromise for her but she has handled it well...challenging the lion in the lair
What is the next step that A will take that will cause her to break down. I can only think of the big "C" in an to break it by telling her that the moment meant nothing..(which A may do after the MU deepens)..This may also give K give insight to the real cause. K will continue to stay even after heartbreak coz of her feelings for Arnav and also partially because she feels some blame for hiding the truth.
If it is a case of only A showing love for K and later breaking her heart, it may not have that impact becos K has already been thru all that and she is used to this behaviour from A, isn't it?
Is this a plausible scenario? Or will it be too drastic in the build up of the story?

is just this - she is not ALLOWING herself still to remember or think about how Bitwa affects her. Partly his own fault - every time he says something remotely nice, he follows it up with a 'it's for Di's sake, not yours,' so she is still confused about how he feels about her.
Hence we see only her silly antics ... not any more wondering about how she hurt him - she seems to have forgotten that completely - or maybe she just feels it's a lost cause, every time she tries to investigate, he brings in Payal ...
And face it, he has followed every single softening and warming up with a rebound hardening and icy cold attitude ... it will take her a long time to trust his feelings, and that will happen only when he stays consistent for some length of time. Now after his own awakening, he might lose the edge off his attitude - we do see that happening, but it needs to happen more for Khushi to be able to trust him enough to show her own feelings. Because once SHE acknowledges her feelings, there will be no stopping them ...

DeleteSochaa jaaye toh for a big C to happen, Khushi needs to realize / become aware that she is a woman. Fun and games, bubbly chirpy is all fine. But she needs to realize the other aspect of marriage being a bond of intimacy between 2 adults. The power a woman can have over a man merely with her eyes.
The big C may not happen until after this entire MU b/w them is sorted. First the MU gets worse, Arnav thinks she blurted, Khushi thinks Arnav will destroy - they keep trying to lash out realizing they hurt themselves more in these attempts. They will need to figure out that though they claim the other hurts them, if they look at the past, the other has actually always tried to support / care for them. They will need to learn to trust that whatever the other does is for their own good. And once that happens, Khushi will unconditionally give Arnav the power to make her his in all respects. And when she does that in spite of all the hurt and wrong he has done her, he will be humbled that she could find it in her heart to still love him.
At that time, it would seem that KJ may finally wake up to the fact that his designs on Khushi are not bearing any fruit. So he will set out to isolate her from every relation she holds dear in an attempt to drive her to him. And Arnav may have his hands bound to stop her.
You know nayi ladki kikya jaroorat. Khushi could never bear to see La near Arnav. I say let Arnav or even better TF start talking about how La understood Arnav, was better fit for his world, shared his thoughts blah blah and see how worked up KKGSR gets.
DeleteWe need a rain hug equivalent for Khushi - she first realized him when she wored that red saree for photoshoot and the pallu slipped. (OMG Gargi a chutku copy of the KKHH scene u mentioned) She was also very aware of him when she was teaching La to tie a saree.
Moral of he story - Khushi is all aware of Arnav's hotness when she is in a saree (teri meri, diwali, photoshoot, teej, and so on)
How about this - she is fretting and talking to herself about what she should wear for some function / pooja and Arnav tells her why don't u wear that saree nani gifted u on the morning of Payal's wedding. You will look good. And she will recall how he had helped her choose it.

I saw a couple of green ones too - cv's please, if you're reading - a green suit for Khushi next week? Just to give us another ishaara? :)

DeleteHmm, well the gelled look is all ASR. Arnav is all non-gelled or lightly gelled. We like the gelled look too not teh overdone gel. The gelled look in that medicine MU scene in the room is enough.
Oh and the bathroom, ur point is true, for what we have in mind, smaller the bathroom the better *ROFL* But seriously so tacky. This is where BALH is different. The fact that he is a tycoon is reflected in the surroundings - forget the colours and all - but the walk in closet, and other stuff do make a nice impact. Anyways we have been given the pool and I guess they expect that to make up for it all.
OO yeah! ASR pranks will be so much more fun ;) And yeah bitiya needs to understand all about being a man a woman in a marriage - not all fun and games at least not in her sense of fun and games. I had once on he blog mentioned a Jodha Akbar kind of nihaarofying. With Arnav doing jogging and stuff, I am hoping they use the poolside to show him doing some exercises and bitiya getting all caught up in his sinewy arms ....;) And it will do bitwa's ego a world of good that she gets affected by him in the same way that he gets affected by her.

But got wild with ASR bathroom- mine seems way classy-CVs Bathroom needs a renovation ASAP-till then we are ok with no bathroom scenes. Where the hell did khushi get those dandaa and ropes to hang her clothes and the buckets and that too within mins?? Guys you could have atleast shown a 30sec scene where khushi is the poolside with all the things, and she hears Bitwa coming up and runs towards the bathroom that would have been more logical and natural. This one looked so OTT and inlogical.

@mona yes MS changed. ODG goes into the bathroom with a long one and comes back with a short one! Not just pool has magic but the bathroom too.
TF is growing bolder day by day , His open advances are getting quite scary, mean and cocky ..
To what length will TF go? What got my attention in the interaction b/w TF-TQ and ODG is the lines of closing of eyes and opening of eyes. Both the case TQ. That was dam giving out so much. At first TF corners ODG where she comes to know the creepy intentions of snakewa and hurts him and moves on . IT so similar to TF forcing her to get engaged and when ODG knows his truth she hurts him by breaking the engagement moves to where ? RM/ Arnav and today to Anajli. TF does not lose his obsession to have khushi and returns TQ and tells her to close her eyes and remain oblvious to whats happening around her so that he can make his way to khushi. Khushi takes all his nasty things in her stride to avoid telling to TQ, but when TF starts touching her, its not accepted and she asks TF to open her eyes and see the world around. So will khushi take this all crap till someone tells her how to stop TF? And who will be that someone? Arnav,Payal,Naani or Akash?
SN with the spoilers of ODG falling sick and Bitwa taking care. I think the truth of TF from khushi will be out. Like I said they have to be equal – Khushi in her intoxied state gave TF upper hand by telling him about the marriage , which in her sane state wouldn’t have said. Similarly Bitwa needs a something to counterattack TF and will again given by ODG . As we know ODG would not tell ODB about TF in her sane state. With TF getting bolder every day there are chances that she might just say it out in her sub/unconscious state with high fever etc. Bitwa gets to know about the engagement truth that it was TF and most importantly that she had broken it. Which will help him use his dimaag?
*SHIDDAT ALERT* Since we said Payal will stand up to Arnav, I also want a Arnav-Payal interaction her. On normal circumstances Payal will never open up to Arnav even for khushi, it has to be some other circumstances to make that interactions. It might be simple- Payal seeing him taking care of ODG and asking him few questions as to know the reason for the marriage. Or she just might give hints about TF in their interaction. Or just discussion about ODG crazy side. Dam i need some interaction there,
Aaru, second u on this LQ-ODB interaction...I felt nice whenever i have seen them interact...almost a sense of calm that comes over A when he is talking to P(not much explored here but the little they have shown has such amazing potential) I feel that would be a nice side track to open up in these times...I don't what they are waiting for...its almost as if everyone has decided to freeze their brains in cold storage....

TF getting bold is a good thing cos atleast the story will move forward and Khushi will stop ignoring the TF factor and start worrying at the very least confide to Payal.
Which brings me to Payal, why is Payal not even bothering to ask Khushi if she is okay with TF around or if Arnav knows? WT??

I tried to figure out how to add it to your emails, but it doesn't seem to be possible, unless I add you all as authors, in which case you could all feed in an email address, and the new comments get sent to your email. That's what I do - I have a separate email id set up for blogger, so I check that id and see the new comments - then I check them on the blog, because they come in a row, not according to which comment they are answering.
If I add you all as authors, the other advantage is that anyone can make a daily post - you don't have to wait for me. So if you want me to do that, I can :) You'll have to send me an email you want to use - and I would strongly suggest to set up a separate one for this blog, because we're getting 70-80 comments daily, and over 100 on weekends. Your regular emails would choke!!!

She is by the poolside not sleeping simply watching the stars, Bitwa is working on the laptop, she spots the taara, comes rushing in and drags him to the poolside, asks him to wish something, he refuses and she glares at him and makes the wish and he simply looks at her with a sweet smile.

All I know is It has been almost a year since she has met Arnav, Known him, almost kissed him, and yes kissed him on the cheek, married him, is living with him...
I am waiting for the day she starts behaving like a Woman around him. Let her have her childlike quality, Let her annoy him, goof around him, but THERE HAS TO BE MOMENTS, where she is aware about him as her hubby.
Whenever there is a RV, he seems to be the only one who is aware of the physical proximity attraction, while she looks as if she has no clue what is happening, too clueless (okay may be I am exaggerating a bit).
I would prefer if the next time they come close or something, she is the one who feels awkward the first to move back a little.
Am I making sense here?

What bugs me is her awareness, attraction to him should be shown despite that...Like the way Arnav feels for her, any sort of moment these two share, you can sense the attraction, the desire he has for her, Why can't they show it for her.Ouch
Heck she need not even drool over him open mouthed (or sometimes the childish reactions she has), It can be very subtle...They are in close proximity..You know both are taking something from the wardrobe at the same time, He is used to this close to her and is going about his business and she finds it difficult to breathe with him so close around and she abruptly takes couple of steps back, trying to get her breathing back to normal, trying to keep her senses and he turns surprised with a questioning look, What???
She is unable to meet his eyes, makes an excuse and goes out of the room probably forgetting the thing she was looking for and he realizes, could it be that she is beginning to feel the attraction towards him too?

With bitwa well that dolt has been confusing her and that is whay I want the Khushi niharofying Arnav scene. Maybe something like the mandir scene with pigeons to start with and then a scene in the room where he comes in and starts unbuttoning his vest and shirt to change while she is in there and she is all flustered but he is cool about it.

DeleteSomething that has been bothering me for a while now...Neither of them is even thinking about the consequences of the 6 month part of the contract. Both have gotten over the initial shock and have somewhat come to terms with their situation. Shouldn't they be thinking what next?
They should have a scene where each individually thinks about the ramifications and what their best course of action will be post the decided 6 months. Especially Khushi as this affects her more perhaps. Arnav one could argue never cared what people thought of him but they should at least show him thinking about his family's reputation and even hers- though in that case perhaps he should resolve to be tough-but still at least show them think about it.
Also agree about the fact that Khushi is being very inconsistent. Arnav has given her enough hints/clues/indications for her to wonder what this 6 month marriage is really about because its not simply because he hates her.
They both seem to have forgotten the intensity of the words spoken on the night of their marriage and on the night when Khushi tells Arnav that she hates him.
Also your point about being physically aware...YES THANK YOU!! Its just absurd how do they manage to show Arnav's conflict of attraction, exasperation, longing and hatred but with khushi they alternate between making her absolutely unaware and unaffected by her husbands presence to wondering at his touch when he applies colour...cant there be a balance for her too? She can hate him, trouble him but still be physically aware of him right?...

The basic difference in the approach to love between a man and a woman. You know, I hope Payal steps up and tells Khushi something to the effect about how being a wife means so much more. And yeah it is the caring / playful Arnav that melts Khushi.
Like you said once Khushi realizes she lives him, she will always love him. So she will only realize much much later. For now in her consciousness she is not even thinking about dhak dhak, when she does due to a RV it is very painful so she just tamps down on it (not unlike Arnav at the start ofthe story na?).
Also on SR she thought he may clain marital right but he did not do that - so she also realized he did not do it for the physcial relationship. Now that Anjali is all happy withher, will she give Khushi Ma's letter? Will that be the start to Khushi thinking about Arnav as more than just the angry young man?
Also every time she has been aware of herself as a woman was wheneve he has deired her as a woman. Off late his looks have been smouldering but not desirous (make sense?). She also needs Arnav to pull a didi tere jethji thingie whereby she realizes just how much he has noticed about her and she would wonder why would a man who hates me so notice so much about me.
Ok..I want him to say something about her fear for darkness, fear of speeding cars, STARS (in the sky, in the bedroom)...that was her innermost she opened to him. Can the RM please have a powercut!!!

Another normal married day for Arnav and Khushi. Khushi again reminds Arnav of her rights over the house, the room as she is HIS WIFE. He says what rights KKG and she says (KKG) SR. Waiting for the day when Khushi tells Arnav, as YOUR WIFE, these are my rights over YOU. That is the only HAQ that matters. They both have given it to each other subconsciously and keep exercising that Sadda Haq at every possible opportunity.
Khushi asks Arnav why do you cause my sister heartbreak over a silly who goes first spat? The very next day she is scaring him with I will tell all for the same who goes first game knowing the family will be devastated if she does.
Khushi in her excitement always undermines herself. She promised to Arnav (twice) about her silence. And today for a silly turn at who goes first, threatens him with “I will have to tell everyone”. She used a powerful ‘kuch bhi’ to know if Arnav got her bangles and now wants to win her turn by saying she will divulge all. Agreed it’s her only leverage and agreed it’s the child in her but it undermines her nonetheless.
Arnav gives enormous importance to the spoken word. He does not understand that she threatens in play and not for real (just like she does not realize that he threatened her only to make her obey not to break Payash). To him a threat is a threat is a threat. He believed her when she told him she will stay back at RM. Now if she keeps using this trump card for anything and everything, if TF comes and tell him she told him, Arnav will believe it easily (just as Khushi easily assumed that Arnav was behind the medicine fiasco). A case of Cry Wolf! much.
Khushi in trying to annoy Arnav actually initiates a HMC act before Anjali and Arnav has no choice but to comply. Right from the coy looks about how she has not unpacked, about how he is always there to remind her till the shy and bashful ‘thank you’ to Arnav for sharing his closet space. Arnav had no choice but to give in and say “Oh but I keep telling her she should arrange her stuff but she forgets”. And no chance that he will throw her things out because his Di took the trouble to help Khushi – majaal hai ki he will undo her work.
A rainbow of colours infuse his grey worl – ironically a rainbow is only formed when the sun shines while it rains. Though Khushi has brought happiness and hopes of a dawn to Arnav’s life, it has been amidst the tears of his pain.
Khushi shows her care for Anjali that Arnav notices – small drops make an ocean!

And Arnav thinks about Khushi’s cold and asking her to sleep inside lying yet again that it is not about her. He knows he does it for her – don’t eat cold, don’t sleep outside
In that scene where Anajli holds hands with both Khushi and Arnav when sitting down, I felt as if she was being helped up by them. Knowingly or unknowingly, they come together to ensure she is safe.
“Jagah banti nahin hai, banaani padti hai” – This is true for both of them. Arnav wonders how she could betray him but when ahs he made the effort to make place in her heart? Khushi has made a place for herself in the entire R family but what reason will she have to try and make a place for her in his heart, the only jagah that matters?
Very true ... Khushi initiated the HMC act in front of Arnav, and he had no option but to comply ... with rather bad grace, I might add - the guy has to decide whether he wants his Di to think he is madly in love with Khushi or not ... and if he does want her to think that, it should take priority over his gussa ... tough job for Bitwa when he is being outsmarted! When he's in the driving seat, he's ok with the acting!

Arnav has never made an effort to make place in her heart ... he has made it despite himself, not because he tried ... and why should Khushi try to make a place for herself in his heart, when he never ever lets her know that he's doing anything for her, or rather, negates his actions with words every single time? And the only times he lets his feelings show - when she is asleep, unconscious, absent or the last one - drunk ... NOT useful at all!!!
Aakash again proves that he takes his cues from big brother Arnav. He has seen that the only way to handle Mami is by calmly intercepting any drama and counter Mami’s naatak with cold facts. Remind her that Payal is not a servant but his wife, a Raizada bahu and a member of this family. Appealing to her better senses will not work. Akash is very like Bharat (Ramayan)– his brother’s word is law and he always keeps his calm but beware the day his ire is raised!

As expected RS gets bolder. Khushi does not know he is a leech. She does not know how he has lied to Arnav. She does not know how he has endangered the lives of her babuji and Anjali. She thought he was redeemable and with the child coming, he will reform. She is going to learn the hard way that he will not.
At the haldi, Arnav covers her bare back with her hair and she turns around and promptly bares it again by tying her hair in a pony. Arnav by marrying her has accorded her his protection but by not telling him about how the KJ was her fiancée, Khushi is setting herself up for more trouble. At Holi she realized the family will not think it awry that KJ talks to her or is in proximity to her. Today she realized that he could walk in on her anytime and do what he wanted. Her calling out to Anjali was also a lesson to her that by keeping silent she encourages his advances. Only when she speaks up will he pause and maybe retreat.
Today the way they were all sitting in a line, it seemed to me that TF thinks it is again only TQ between him and Khushi. Knowing the truth about the marriage, Arnav is no longer a primary concern for him. TF will play his games with Khushi. And she is going to get more and more freaked out. She will only be able to hold him back to an extent. Besides like at Holi, Anjali will unknowingly aid KJ’s cause and Khushi can never say no to her.
When the news of her engagement broke, it was Anjali who drew Arnav’s attention to the fact that she seemed unhappy. This time, will Arnav pick up that she seemed worried just like on Holi?
As of the now, Arnav knows a half truth, KJ knows a half truth, Khushi is beginning to know a half truth while Anjali is in the dark.

What exactly is TF hoping to achieve by these games, though? Is he just enjoying his power over Khushi? That he feels she has no choice but to submit to him, because his wife is blind, and Arnav has married Khushi only to protect Anjali's marriage, but has no feelings for Khushi apart from that, so will not protect her in any other way? In which case, he is definitely going to play more games with Khushi, maybe even accost her physically or as was suggested on the forum, try to kidnap her or rape her, thinking she has no choice but to submit. His games are going to get more dangerous ... because he thinks she has no protector, and she is now living in the same house - a dangerous situation for her.

I was thinking, in the Holi scene, when Shyam accosts Khushi and she tells him the secret, then Anjali comes and Khushi is confused - was she talking to Anjali or Shyam? If she had just mentioned 'your husband?' to Anjali, it would not have rung alarm bells to the vacuous Anjali right then, but Anjali might have remembered it later. Khushi chose that moment to keep quiet!! *head desk* But she could start dropping subtle hints, or at least make a noise every time Shyam is any where near ... and hopefully Arnav should NOTICE that for a girl who is madly in love with his BIL, she is doing her best to avoid him at all times.
Dia, BINGO...He knows that Arnav thinks khushi loves shyam. Now khushi has told him that the only reason she married arnav was for payal. So as far as he is concerned, arnav hates khushi and khushi hates arnav. So any trouble, she will not go to her hubby and nor to payal.

TF is enjoying demostrating to Khushi just how much power he has to do things around her. He plays games because he wants to and know he can. So like Peter Pettigre TF is. He needs assurance of his bets being hedged before he will scamper out to make a move.
DeleteYes, TF thinks she has no protector in this house (Payal is too caught up with Mami and Arnav is thought to hate her). For now apart from TF and Khushi only these 2 know of RS 2-faced nature.
At Holi, TF suddenly realized that if she is not head over heels in love with Arnav and does not share his bed, she is still fair game and now she is in the same house as him again. hence that unbounded happiness on Holi which he told TQ of.
Khushi claims that the marriage means a lot to her (car ride) but what is a marriage without a physical relationship (again bcos to TF it is this aspect alone that is important, not feelings).
To him Khushi has always been something to have in his life because HE WANTS IT irrespective of what she wants.
And I think his lecherous nature will be needed to make Khushi turn to Arnav because he is the only one who seems to be taking her side (holi was one, hoping there will be others) for whatever reasons and keeping TF at bay.

Khushi's silence is her enemy / her weakness. With this MU in place, Khushi will be on the attack trying to prove the right in her actions whereas Arnav will keep throwing 6 months back in her face and Khushi may decide that 6 months be damned she will need to be around till she can ensure TF is well and truly out of Anjali's life.
DeleteTrue Shyaam thinks she's all alone in RM right now...and technically she is. What I liked about yesterdays episode was that she doesnt need Arnav to save her every time. She's not a perpetual damsel in distress, she's quite clever of getting out f tricky spots.
DeleteThe problem is when he gets physical...she's so tiny and beefy ferret is so overbearing...I really hate the scenes when he grabs her. They need to eventually have a scene where Arnav sees this and is overcome with unadulterated rage and knocks out Shyaam simply for manhandling her and not because of his Di, or his family or anything- simply for touching her. he really has it coming since the sangeet night.
