Last first ... looks like our Holi shiddats are working ... RRR tries to put color on ODG, she avoids, and best thing is ... ODB overhears ... shiddat shiddat shiddat ...
Cute episode overall ... we actually got quite a few shiddats today - a TF-TQ scene , where TF is not giving up quite yet ... now that's what I wanted ... only when he gets into action, does he make mistakes ... Has Anjali forgotten that it's Payal's first Holi too? Or was that because Khushi is her Chotey's wife and her real sister-in-law and Payal a cousin? Or simply because Anjali was always closer to Khushi than to Payal?
Khushi mumbling in her sleep ... Arnav waking up ... few more RTR miles added every time I see him sleeping in bed comfortably while Khushi sleeps outside ... x( ... but anyway she wakes him up with her mumbling ... and teasing ... and he actually smiles when he hears her talking in her sleep ... Khushi slowly returning to normal ... and starting to bring Arnav out of ASR again ... he almost ran after her with that color dig of hers :)
Khushi's next mission - manao Nani. Anjali is slowly returning to normal, then Khushi pataos Mamaji to tell her old stories ... HP is back with a platoon of unnamed servants ... suddenly RM seems full! Payal and Khushi want to buy color and pichkaris, Khushi breaks her gullak for money, and goes searching under the bed for it, much to Arnav's amazement and WT* ... and a really sweet Rabba ve moment, with Arnav back to the old protective Arnav, hand over her head to protect it from any bumps ... and Khushi recovers enough to say, there's no one watching, you don't need to do this ... very much on her guard now with him ...
And she wants to take a loan from him ... unbelievable!!! :)) He can't believe it! Doesn't seem to strike her that she's his wife and within her rights to ask him for money ... fiercely independent as ever ...
Yeh ladki mujhe pagal kar degi ... she already has, bitwa ... just admit it already!
She hasn't quite admitted to DM that she needs her, though, so 'by mistake' she puts color, 'by chance' she offers sweets ... Anjali smiles indulgently ... seems like Anjali has almost forgiven her completely already ...
And TF makes his move ... he wants to be the first to put color on her ... x( ... and of course, Khushi avoids ... =D> ... smart girl ... and wonder of wonders ... what we've been wanting for ever and ever ... or at least for the last month or so ... Arnav overhears RRR swear that 'run as much as you like, Khushi, I will put the first color on you ... that I swear ...'
Arnav, if you misinterpret this one, the RTR will reach a point of no return ... so you'd better get your act together!

Two tubelights lit up today - brother and sister - one at the start of the episode, one (hopefully) at the end.
TF and TQ having a marital chat ... or rather TQ chatting, TF sulking ... Anjali wearing a very pretty sari today (looks like the cv's changed their designer, everyone got nice clothes!). Anjali's tubelight flickers - why is she still mad at Khushi - after all, she and Nani always wanted Khushi and Arnav to get married anyway!Thank heavens she finally remembered that one!
Hehe ... shidaat of sorts ... not Mami, but Anjali remarks on the fact that TF is spending so much time with her these days. TF doesn't have much choice ... have Arnav's threats really got him so scared?
Anjali was all gung ho about her Chotey getting married, did she forget that she was pregnant? So she suddenly remembers, yes, this is her baby's first Holi too - not really, Anjali, Holi is normally counted after the birth, not before *head desk* ...
So it's her baby's first Holi, and Khushi's first Holi ... did she forget about Payal?

Why was Anjali making gujiyas in the living room?! Kitchen being renovated?

Liked the Anjali-Khushi scene ... fluctuating emotions, not yet back to their old easy loving relationship, but the thaw has set in and is spreading rapidly ... the shadow of the elopement still hangs over them, but Anjali has reconciled to a greater extent than Nani, and is willing to go further ... Khushi still troubled, and wanting desperately to do anything she can to clear the atmosphere ... then she cheers up again ... today she will do it ...
She wants to go shopping for Holi, asks Anjali's permission, but Anjali has ordered everything here itself ... so Payal Khushi choose what they want, while Mami orders 'cool drink = thandai' =)) And Khushi tries her first attempt to make Nani smile ... marginally successful. (SN - Payal's new sari is nice as well ... cv's got more money after SPA?)
And PK have no money ... doesn't Akash give his wife an allowance?
So Khushi goes to her room to break her piggy bank ... the cv's really dumb down Khushi too much ... piggy bank? For an 18-19 year old? Give me a break!!!

So he kneels down right next to her, where she can't help but see him when she surfaces ... and he can't help pushing her buttons ... after that crack about the Holi color for him? Still rankles? He has to get back at her? Child Arnav surfacing again ...

Does he remember that hospital promise also? Does he feel guilty that he broke it? Is that why he looks away, unable to meet her eyes?
Unspoken promises, unspoken words, unspoken emotions, an unspoken bond ... all lie between them ... his turn to search her face, her eyes ... was he mistaken in the girl he saw in the hospital? The innocent, lonely girl who needed him and only him, like no one else? Who chose his arms to cry in, when she had her entire family there?
Loved the way they rose and turned away from each other, as though both scared their feelings showed too much on their faces, in their eyes, scared the other would read them too easily ... or maybe scared that they would see something in the others' eyes which their hearts knew was true, but their minds screamed wasn't there ...
But Khushi's trust has been eroded ... 'there's no one else here ... then why did you ...?' Was this an act?

Barun's expressions were hilarious ... watching his klutzy, incredibly independent wife make out a written agreement for 300 rupees ... it either never struck her that she could ask him for the money as her right, or that he would refuse ...

And an indulgent Anjali overhears ... and smiles ... the Khushi she loves is back ... the one whose gussa always has her pyaar hidden in it ... so since you've put gulaal on DM by accident, let me put gulaal on you too ... (Again wondered if Anjali had overheard that conversation Khushi had with her DM that first night). Khushi smiles with pleasure ...the fondness between her and Anjali is mutual ...
And RRR steps in ... he wants to be the first to put gulaal on Khushi ... to her shock and dismay ... and fear ...

I loved both of Khushi’s looks today...the purple and magenta suit was soooo pretty and with SI’s complexion-WHOA!! And the white and yellow suit was so fresh and perfect for holi.
Also well done with Barun...Not bad guys Khushi had 3 wardrobe changes and Barun 2 (Love Khushi and Arnav’s night wear;-p)!! Budget must have increased - glad they’re putting it to good use: )
How adorable was Arnav watching and listening to his crazy wife talking to herself and not only that he wanted to hear more... But he had to brusquely tell her to shut up – all the while thinking to himself meri patni paagal hai- then she confirms it so matter of factly- since childhood darling-get used to it;-) and he knows what he’s gotten himself into so agrees also matter of factly...yes darling you’re right! ROFL...

...it’s such a treat to watch these scenes. Another awesome Arhi moment...tumhe lag jati toh?---He puts his hand on her head...as though saying yes you’re my wife, I will always protect you- from yourself and others, I’ll always love you-and it will always be in a roundabout sort of way---she betrayed him, broke his heart but what can he do?...loving her is his default setting and try as hard as he may he can’t seem to switch it off... And she looks at him...she never never pushes him away...she’s always accepted that she was meant to be with him...but he’s giving her all these mixed signals and she looks at him in wonderment ...(remembered the hospital scene: )
Thank God she asked him ‘no one’s here then why the HMC act’!!- What she meant is...it’s not an act right?? Please please let it not be an act...And for once Arnav replied and didn’t just walk off. A totally plausible not completely silly answer at that-she really can’t afford to spare anymore grey cells according to him...Lol
‘Aapko business business khelna accha lagta hain na?’ How cute was Arnav’s WT the expression here- as if to say -Babe khelna? where do you think the money comes for running shantivan, mami’s haars, your never ending jalebi supplies, the upkeep of public, private and non existent pools? Hahaha...
And I’m so glad he didn’t argue and throw money at her like the ASR of September would have...he indulgently takes her ‘loan papers’ and accepts her ‘I’ll return your 300 rupees’ with a ...’yep you do that Khushi...surely I won’t get sleep till you return this huge loan amount you’ve borrowed from your own husband-Meee!’...And he shakes his head in such a knowing way... ‘she’s nuts and spending so much time with her even I’ll go nuts!!’
Also found the Khushi nani scene too cute...nani is awesome! Not yet forgiving her but still unable to not enjoy the sheer Khushi, Khushi is...SN: How boring would RM be without Khushi- no wonder they found every single way to make her come back...!!

I like that Arnav doesn’t stop him. This girl can take care of herself. She stopped TF from applying rang all by herself. Of course bitwa had to hear TF otherwise he has way too much self control in life to go himself and put yellow rang on Khushi just because he wants to. So obviously spurred on by cupidwa we will get a cute Arhi scene;-)....the real question is – how much did Arnav hear? Did he hear the ‘Kab tak mukhse bhagogi...’ bit or just the ‘I will be first to apply rang on Khushiji’ bit...

Gargs, finger on the button ... Khushi returned to DM, and bam, RRR made a mistake. Khushi bitiya, keep DM on your side with lots of jalebis, even if you're mad at her ... believe us, it will be all good for you!
ReplyDeleteWhatever part Arnav overheard, it should be enough firstly for him to decide that HE will put the first color on his wife, and not Slimeball ... because the last bit SS (Slimeball Snakewa) said was the "I'll be the first to put color on you, that I swear." So that part Arnav will take care of now ... good boy, RRR, you did your job well.
If Arnav heard the first part - 'run as much as you want, Khushi' ... that should be the clincher for him to start suspecting that RRR is not all sweetness and truth ... and even if he didn't hear that bit, Anjali has no objection to her hubby putting color on Khushi, but Khushi does ... and Khushi will definitely continue to avoid RRR as much as she can ... he will definitely be on the lookout for Shyam and Khushi, and if he sees her purposefully avoiding RRR, it should ring some alarm bells for sure!
And oh yes, I loved the clothes :))) The purple suit was gorgeous - with her complexions, Sanaya can carry off these bold colors so well, and the yellow and white was pretty and summery. And Barun wore a matching purple - I liked that one!

2 TQ/TF scene where TF not lying low anymore. He had to act and get twitched. TF trying to put color on bitiya and she does find an excuse at the last moment. Just hope bitwa did see that hear TF. Second Shiddat crossed.
3. Best was Arhi. what i liked here was again a real Rabba ve moment. Second all Arhi scenes were exactly Arhi we have loved. the innocent,bubbly and most important independent Khushi and the croaky amused Arnav playing along with her antics. Wonder pool eye lock was so magical that it soften ASR so much or its more of Khushi being Khushi get the hidden Arnav out?
Sn1 Loved how bitiya being the self respective one, does not allow NQ to ask money from Akash. She again puts herself in the problem.I do agree with their situation of being out of money. NQ couldn't have actually Akash money with just being there for what 3 days and not knowing their working with finance.
4. Loved Nani Khushi and Khushio mamaji scenes.
5. TQ is getting normal and still has her glares on and cant see the true colors of her TF.
6. Bitwa returns as her knight in shining Armour again by protecting her from getting hurt. Will bitwa be her knight in shining Armour tomorrow too? Hope so.
Aarthi I also found the mamji scene very endearing!! Such a normal mama/chacha scene:-)

one thing that i really liked - when ODB sees ODG under the bed - he HAS to sit down and talk to her - cant leave her alone - comes up with a silly excuse but just has to talk to her - so so cute - and love the way he lifts one eyebrows when he notices her doing anything whacky! (or when she questions him (like the "where were you?" scene at the mehndi function!)
Also loved it when they both turn away from each other ODG can't remain quiet and has to say 'why are you doing this? - there is no one around!" - even she cant stay away from talking to him, can she :D
@Gargi - seems like she knew she was getting married so got a whole lot of suits stitched for herself during her sister's wedding! ;)

DeleteI think Arnav is going to use that piece of paper Khushi signed to get her back to the office since he knows that jiju is after his wife. The only way he can keep his jiju's dirty paws off his crazy wife is to get her as close to him as possible. Jiju will not dare come the the AR. Even if he does he can give his security guards pictures of him so that they can stall his entry much like how they stalled Khushi's entry. Khushi may be indignant with him for forcing her to work for him again but may slowly realise the real purpose - the guy needs to keep her in his line of vision because he loves her and cares for her safety.

An indication that DM watched over this woman while the diya - a symbol of truth, a symbol of impurities burned indicates the unmasking of TS ? But to whom - the woman he loves or her brother?
a. maybe to the woman he loves as she will try to keep the peace by not disturbing her brother's life
b. would TF's desperation at being thwarted by ArHi result in his anger being diverted towards the unborn baby? - cos it is only bcos of the baby that Arnav kept the truth from his sister
2. Again at the end when TF declares his intention to apply rang on Khushi, it sounded as temple bells in the BG. DM watched over this girl even when she was annoyed with DM. Today when she has re-kindled their friendship, there is no way she will let any harm come to her.
- As a first step, Arnav saw and heard this interaction
- Whether completely or the last bit, he knows TF will try some tricks with Khushi. Arnav will watch over her as DM's chosen guardian angel.
- Challenge given and accepted :- TF claims that he will be the first to apply rang on Khushi but Arnav will never let him win this challenge. Besides the last time he claimed Khushi will wear sindoor of his name, we know she ended up being Arnav's bride.
The Players Triangle
This one scene has resulted in both Arnav and Khushi realizing that RS is not going to cease chasing Khushi
a. Even in Anjali's presence
b. After Khushi going from single to married.
c. Anjali will be powerless in stopping him.
Arnav's plan to contain the damage is blowing up in his face because RRR is not interested in his second and last chance. Would Arnav have seen that Khushi moved away making an excuse. She could have stayed on but she chose to leave. Will bitwa finally assess the situation and will his batti light?
Hopefully at the end of Holi, Arnav realizes that Khushi needs to be protected from RS.

And Bitwa also needs to think - what exactly did Shyam mean when he said the only obstacle between him and Khushi is RS? Did he mean he wants to divorce RS? Or get rid of her? And bitwa has married Khushi only for 6 months to give Shyam that last chance to reform ... but if he sees that Shyam is not reforming, what should Bitwa do? End his and Khushi's marriage early, tell Anjali the truth and bid Shyam Khushi goodbye? What is he hoping to achieve by keeping Khushi unavailable for 6 months if Shyam is still going to pursue her ... and according to him, she is available and willing to be pursued? That's IF, of course, his only object was to save his sister's marriage ...
Nope, nothing makes sense here, least of all, Arnav's thoughts - it's high time he realized what he is doing is completely illogical and is ruled only by ... say it with me ... HIS HEART!!!!!
And yes, hope bitwa realizes that it's Khushi who needs the most protection from Shyam ... hope RRR makes some moves during Holi to light that batti!

DeleteThey say keep your friends close and your enemies closer. That was what Arnav would have thought when he got married.
Today he is fighting the wrong person. Unless he finds a greater opponent, the venom will spew on Khushi.
Like I told Rekha somewhere else, Arnav realizing Khushi is unwilling will happen. They share a room and a house. With his heightened sense of awareness for Khushi, Arnav will realize she is unwilling. But give it time. Immediately the only thing to happen would be he sees Khushi avoiding RRR and maybe just maybe his Di teasing Khushi about running away so her hubby could apply gulaal on her first.Besides like her loan today she will keep coming to him for her small needs. He may comment on it and she may tell him after all there is no one else in this house to whom she can go to with her demands (she does not ask anji even tho anji is thawing). And Arnav will wonder more.
I am keener that Arnav realize how dangerous RRR can be. His awareness of TF's ugliness is greater than Khushi's and if he needs to proactively protect her (like on haldi NK bangles scene) the alarms need to go off in his head.
Also in thwarting TF's plans, he will keep doing things around Khushi (and these will not be HMC but genuine is my feel) and she will gradually become aware of his heart. eventually when Khushi realizes how out of control RRR is and if by then she realizes teh vibes between TF and Arnav, she just may reach out to him for help (recall har kaam tum khud nahi kar sakti)
ArHi Scenes - HAYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

1. In her talks with herself, Khushi so far used to have DM or Lakshmiji as her audience. Today she has included Arnav into this august audience. Were we right in hoping that he becomes her new "best friend" with DM's blessings?
2. Even today when she talks about colours for all, KKG figures last in the family. But DM is always next to her - in her list or her thoughts. And she did not think of the RRR.
3. Did Arnav note that Khushi associated herself with yellow - the colour of auspicious turmeric, of sunshine / morning. Today she opened the door, ensured Arnav and she were connected and said "all which is wrong in my life will be set right on this day only"
And though Arnav tells her to shut up, she barges on with her thoughts - just like she has accepted the marriage for now but loses no chance to question Arnav.
4. Now that her stay at RM is sealed, Khushi is back to her usual ways with her LG though with an added tadka of her childish antics. Was there a teeny weeny bit of happiness on Arnav's face when she mentioned her choice of colour for him. When she ran and he jumped out of bed, had she been in the room, I am sure he would have chased her and backed her into a wall. Khushi is awakening the child within the man.
The Piggy bank ArHi Scene
I thought of the hospital scene, New Year midnight scene, Haldi Scene where Khushi was picking up bangles
1. Arnav proves yet again that he can fake all the HMC moments he wants but his concern for her is most genuine.
2. That day at the hospital when she was broken down he placed his hand on her head assuring her all will be well. Today he placed his hand on her head to protect her from further hurt as she picked up 'the broken pieces of her life'. An indication that as she sets about mending relationships, he will be her shadow?
3. That day she was picking up bangles, today she was picking up coins. Then too there was the shadow of a shart over them, today too there is his sweet victory from winning a shart. That day the threat to Khushi was evident to Arnav, while today he in unaware of just how close to harm she is. (hopefully the last scene would have warned Arnav). he had unhesitatingly 'saved' her then, will he come to her rescue again today?
She warned him then to not let himself be ruled by the shart and to think beyond not realizing that what he did he did for her good. His retort then was to justify his actions by saying she has no clue of what happens around her.
Today Khushi is clueless because of Arnav. He now has to adopt what Khushi said - instead of viewing silos, he needs to step back and begin to look at the whole.
4. Last time Khushi asked him a 'to the heart' Q about why he is who he is - he distracted her with the dimaag comment. Today again when she askes him a Q that reflects the state of his heart, he again deflects it with her dimaag.
They stood facing awayyet turned toward each other like in the chudi poolside scene but much closer than that time.
SN1: Khushi needs to start understanding that each time she is close to the truth, Arnav distracts her on the premise of her mind because he has no answers to the emotions in his heart. His indication of her half baked mind is in fact a mirror of his half baked heart

Khushi has to start deciphering this about Arnav ... that he hits out when he is feeling the most vulnerable. Which is why he hits out at her the most, because she is the only one who makes him feel vulnerable and out of control.
ARHI scenes ... apart from the sleeping arrangement, I loved the first one, Khushi blabbering in her sleep, Arnav waking up and going 'pagal' with that indulgent smile ... what a crazy coot he has married ... the gussa when she insists on blabbering when he still wants to sleep - happens so often :))) the leaping out of bed ready for a chase around the bed again at her teasing about colors ... hayeeee!!!

DeleteArnav does not have to hear Khushi. He can lipread her mumblings because he has been staring at those lips of hers from day one. Now Shyam is another matter. Even his loud voice and emphatic mouthing of the words will still fall on Arnav's deaf ears, except the last bit where he says he wants to be the first to put colour on her. Never mind what he thinks now. At least this provocative statement of his rascal jiju is going to get him down to play holi (or prevent his jiju from fulfilling his perverted wish) and in the process we will get our Arshi moments.

But the same happens the other way around ... the moment he softens and becomes protective, she gives in completely ... no resistence at all ... but both need to show that they can manage very well without the other, thank you very much.
Shiddat ... this one will NEVER happen, but no harm hoping ... Arnav overhears Payal telling Khushi, stay away from him, Khushi says, I'm trying, but he keeps following me, what a kameena insaan he is ... Payal saying, we need to tell Akash and Arnav about this, Khushi saying, I tried to tell Anjali, her ms broke, so I couldn't, I wanted to tell Arnav the day Anjali's pregnancy became known, so again I couldn't ... Anjali's baby needs a father, how can I deprive it of one just because of me ...
And Arnav realizes why she has kept quiet for so long ... this should happen after his suspicions are already raised about Shyam's lies ... not before.
Part 1 of my take
ReplyDeleteKhushi still sleeps out near the pool while Arnav babu is comfortable in his bed - Symbolic of Arnav still keeping her out of his life but the glass doors of his heart are not fully shut. There is a small gap through which he must have heard Khushi’s sleep mumbles.
Colours she chooses for her family:
Green for her parents – Symbolic of safety (green light of the traffic signal). Also signifies fertility and prosperity (crops). One feels the safest with ones’ parents who are the only ones who are immensely tolerant. Green also is the colour of the heart chakra known as Anahata which enables a person to love more, empathize, and feel compassion. It is another matter that Garima does not often display that selfless love but deep down she does love Khushi and there is no doubt just how fond of Khushi Shashi really is, even if he is not related by blood to her. Prosperity need not be about material wealth alone but prosperity in spirit and that comes from parents only.
Orange for Buaji – Symbolic of caution (orange light of the traffic signal). One has to be cautious around her for she keep creating hurdles after hurdles but she is not altogether bad.
Blue for Payal – Symbolic of water. Well already know that this girl has a close association with water whether it is turning on waterworks in her parental home to do the laundry or turning on the waterworks of her eyes every time she gets to hear Mami’s choices curses for her. Lets not forget that still waters run deep. Payal always steps up for Khushi when the going gets tough. Maybe she will do it again if Arnav’s brains do not work on their own.
Red for Devi Maiyya (DM) – Going by the traffic signal analogy, it means stop. Right now Khushi is ‘katti’ with DM and has stopped asking her to help her out. Red is also supposed to be the colour of the root cakra which represents groundedness, trust and a feeling of belonging. Now DM always keeps Khushi grounded and subconsciously Khushi has never lost her trust in her, no matter how much she keeps telling her she does not want her. It is also the colour of love. Khushi’s love for DM is all abiding as much DM’s love for her.
Yellow for herself – Khushi brings sunshine to the people around her. So what better colour to represent that than yellow. It is also the colour of solar plexus chakra which represents vitality and will. It acts to empower a person and help them find their personal strength. It will help turn dreams and goals into reality. Khushi is sure to realize her dreams and she will achieve it with her own strength with generous doses of support from DM.
Black for Arnav – Symbolic of darkness – There is no doubt that Arnav is the dark knight in this love story. Black is authoritative and powerful. It can evoke strong emotions and too much can be overwhelming as we are seeing in this track. It also represents a lack of color, the sense of void, emptiness. This guy desperately needs his sunshine (read his Khushi) to fill up the emptiness in his life.

Payal = blue = water = adaptability / filling in cracks / tranquil when still / tsunami when angered
Khushi = yellow = fire = purifies / blazes her way through / dispels darkness
Arnav = black = water (yes!) = still water with depths / symbolic of the North direction - a constant /absence of colour or an absorption of all colours / banishes negativity or wards of evil (kaala tikka) and hence of protection
red can also be contrued as Anjali's colour - the colour of auspiciosuness / of a suhaagan
In the primary colour scheme, the area where the colours red, Yellow and Blue interesectcan be construed as black. In the ArHi scheme of things, Arnav's life is tightly bound to the key women in his life - Khushi, Payal and DM /Di.

Arnav should come home followed by HP/OP/ etc-P's carrying lots of shopping bags and going and giving them to a bewildered Khushi. Khushi going after Arnav and at the stairs asking...Arnavji yeh sab kya hai? ...
'What? tumhara janmdin hai na?'
'aapne yeh sab hamare...?'
He gives his raised eyebrow expression...she thinks and says 'OH HMC act' and turns around and goes back to mahila mandal where Payal has taken out a very pretty gotewali sari and Anji and Nani are exchanging their sly looks...And from the stairs we see Arnav smiling slightly at the look of total Khushi on Khushi's face...
(throwback to October and the silver coins only total haq now;-p)
Much as we all like to believe that bitwa's batti will light up, it will pose a challenge for the CVs on how much to drag this realisation track.. On the one hand, there are these cute ARHI moments and on the other hand the Arnav-Shyam tussle.
DeleteIf they show that bitwa has realised that khushi is innocent, the repentence and MU clearing will have to begin concurrently..it will look silly for the great ASR requiring many Eureka moments to arrive at the truth.
My feeling is that bitwa has only heard that shyam is keen on putting colour on bitiya but he is still free to presume that it is just a lover's challenge and not an exoneration of ODG esp since he is not in the pic when TF approaches ODG.
This said, I still want to be proved wrong.....again and again just so that these lovebirds get on...Varna Arnav ke pair thak jayenge us RTRW chalte chalte...

DeleteArnav's batti will light - but in terms of awakening him towards how dangerous an opponent RRR is. Arnav needs to realize that the marriage has not achieved him the main result - that of ensuring his Di's life is unimpacted. He thought his warning and Khushi being married would be enough. But it never was going to be enough. And that is what Arnav will realize. Which is fine for now. It will also ensure he watches over Khushi thereby watching out for her and ensuring her protection. He who is attuned to her anklets noise will soon pcik up on her vibes of fear too.
ArHi are stuck in a room for now. There will be many more incidents like today where they will have a chance to evaluate each other's actions. Case in point, at some point Arnav will wonder why khushi needs a loan from him when she could have taken it from creep. He told her to stay at RM but did not forbid her from speaking with creep. That realization will build over time. Today Anji saw that RRR wanted to put rang and Khushi went away from there. If tomorrow she chooses to tease Khushi saying "oh so u wanted ur hubby to be the first to put colour on u and so u ran away" Arnav will have no choice but to believe his Di and he will wonder.
Besides with the family getting back on Khushi's side, there will be more people to point out the obvious about Khushi to Arnav. Khushi always watches out for family and Arnav will see her watching out for nani and hi di too.
Khushi knows Arnav is hurt and she sees his genuine care for her still ives just beneath his hurt (today's bedroom scene). She will gradually learn to accept his harshness in her stride and point it out to him as it being his defence mechanism. She will watch out for him too as a part of the R family if not as her husband.
Also, RRR's actions ensured Khushi realizes how dheet he is getting. That day in the car knowing she is married and today in front of his wife. She will also realize that the baby will not change matters. She will try fixing this herself initially but may over time need help handling RRR while keeping up pretences.
Payal may notice RRR being a slime to Khushi and encourage her to tell Arnav. Khushi will refuse stating payal's happiness. But maybe things may reach a point when Payal takes matters into her hands and speaks to Arnav about it. Or Arnav overhears them.
By then Arnav should ideally have started wondering on the mismatch b/w reality and his perception. This could be the tipping point.
Yes, Sandy...what u are suggesting is a good progression...realisation will be stretched for the very reason u mentioned, Arnav realising that the marriage itself will not keep his loved one(s) safe..beginning to notice Shyam's unhealthy obsession for Khushi and this intertwined with his own feelings for Khushi will make for an interesting duel...
DeleteAnother thing, the Cvs have taken a calculated risk with Arnav's charaterisation wrt sleeping arrangements...viewers are not liking it one bit...the problem is how do they bring her back? Arnav has to make the first step and how/when should he do that? Ideally, they shld have kept them in the same room and then let arrangements work themselves out over a period of time but this poolside arrangement has caused all this heartburn....and CVs are in a big hole over this. They may have wanted this to be diff from usual "arrangements"but have underestimated the impact.

It said that as unwelcome as teh sleeping arrangements are their wedding is a thinly veiled live in in the practical world (a marriage witnessed by none). When in the future the truth about RRR breaks and the circumstances of the ArHi wedding are also known, who will believe Khushi's claims of innocence. Besides if an elopment by her is unpalatable how will they react to the fact that she chose to live in the same room with a man for so long. At least this way mami suspects something amiss.
Flip it over, Khushi has neevr been a pushover with Arnav. He said she should stay out so she stays out? Khushi is very capable of telling Arnav that I will stay inside the room. Why? And why do the CVs continue to show her bedding left outside.
I want her to move in too but after reading this post, I wonder how the CVs will play it while keeping the characters intact.
I read that post too ... don't know if I agree with it completely. The fact that they got married in such a hurry is bound to raise questions about Khushi's virtue anyway, regardless of whether or not a baby bump appears after three months ;) Besides, sleeping in the same room will give Arnav a reason to ask her to marry him for real when the truth comes out ... because otherwise she is bound to leave him ... so his reason could be, marry me so that your name is cleared, and then leave if you really want to ... another way of tying her to him. Otherwise if it is clear they never slept together, how does he tie her to him?

Agree with you all though ... how long can they drag Arnav's realization and how will it go? Once his dimaag ki batti lights, the facts are so obvious that it should not take him too long to connect the dots. And he can always ASK PAYAL ... she knows the whole truth ... he could swear her to secrecy even from Akash ... or threaten her ;) Somehow his threats are always confined to Khushi only!

DeleteTrue true...In the tellyworld, i guess it matters becos of who they think their major audience is...I guess for them to project, what happens between the four walls of bedroom a private matter will be a paradigm shift....not showing Khushi as a pushover is itself a big achievement, and I am glad, in the name showing a difficult period for Khushi, they haven't tampered with her basic personality traits; that she is a fighter. CVs really deserve kudos on this!!
I was flipping channels the other day and caught parts of an episode of the current TRP leader. I was flabbergasted at the way in which the lead was subjected to "third" degree questioning on guess what...the details of the real relationship she shares with her husband behind closed doors....I did not wait to watch the response...but the point I am making is, that the job of the CVs of IPK would have not been easy for these very reasons... I am not making any judgements on the other serial becos I don't watch it so I don't the background or whatever...

For now, I will setlle for this:
Arnav threw her out saying "Your place is outside this room"
For some reason, he needs to tell her something on the lines of "Your place is inside, come in"
It will be akin to him opening that glass door, letting her in - metaphorically granting her a place as his wife.
the added point here is why doesn't Khushi just stomp in. Arnav saying no has never stopped her. So for her to come in he will have to let her in and she will move in for him.

So are they emphasizing the current theme - that Khushi cannot hate Arnav, no matter what he does to her, and Arnav cannot bring himself to declare his love for her, however much he loves her?
Wonder if the new promo will release tonight ... the one with Arnav kissing Khushi and her running away ... there was a spoiler about this on IF a few days ago.
The promo about the ArHi wedding - the one with Sanaya dressed as a bride, the VO said something about, will this wedding of hate lead to the manzil of love? So is THAT the theme?
And finally ... I saw the much discussed C scene of BALH ... a whopping 28 minutes of only RaYa ... frankly, I got bored stiff ... had to forward lots!!! And far too obvious ... I want the C here to be far more suggestive and delicate ... nothing so obvious pleeeaaaseee!!!!

I agree Dia, The BALH C scene was far to long and explicit and put me off too. The leads had so much makeup on I felt like jumping into the screen and scrubbing their faces clean. Who goes to bed with so much makeup on? For me the best C-scene on T.V. so far has been that of Michi of Kayamath. The run up to it was a heated argument between the leads which pushed up the passion.

the beauty of the ARHI romance, to my mind, is I see romance unfold in the least expected manner..
who would have thought that a scene where a girl bends to pick up coins and the just the mere thought of the guy protecting her can elicit these lovely reactions, can translate into a romantic scene...
I am sure the makers of IPK will never have to resort to anything gimmicky here......ArHi are just too special!!
