Fri 30/3 -220 ... Small Heart Big Ego vs Big Heart Small Ego

March 30th Fri

Bholi surat dil ke khote
Naam bade aur darshan chote, darshan chote ...

Today Arnav reminded me of this song ... his ego is far bigger than his love. And Khushi is all heart, no place for ego. She needs it all to be able to love this man ... he comes across as singularly unloveable at times!

Didn't care for the public uthak baithak he made her do ... x(
Didn't care for the very ungraceful way he agreed to drink the kadha ... for Di again!!! Di ka bhakt!!!
The teasing look when he made her clean her room was okay ... but not seeing even slightly her genuine repentance about making him lose his voice, or feeling even the slightest bit bad about teasing her that way, was not. x(
And the last line of his I did not like at all. Is your ego so big that you can't admit even once to being wrong in front of your wife? x(

I hope Khushi does give him the silent treatment tomorrow and more - he deserves it. Was good to see her blast him at the end ... even though he shut her up so cruelly.
Quite a few miles added on to that RTR today.

Makes me wonder - will he ever see her repentance as genuine?

Shyam makes more moves ... good! He is getting desperate now!
Mami-Payal scenes are improving slowly.

*edited ... Finally!!! Got time to re-watch the episode after a hectic day running around hospitals and doctors .. My father was not well, hence the emergency trip, fortunately he's doing much better and so I'm in a better mood for the re-watch as well ;) ... thanks so much, girls, for your concern and best wishes!*
Starts with Khushi rubbing it in that she did something smart and saved Arnav's company, so he can be a good boy and say sorry and thank you. Of course Arnav's ego is into top gear immediately ... thank her?! Acknowledge that she proved smarter than him?! After all his pompous remarks on his brain and her lack of it?! No way!
Car screeching to halt ... I pity the brakes on Arnav's cars - he abuses them almost as much as he does Khushi :))
And he disappears ...
And she waits ...
First in anticipation ... he can't speak, maybe he's gone to get me a gift as a sorry and thank you. Then, before I could groan at Khushi's lapse into idiocy again, she acknowledges it herself ... Arnav and gift?! In your dreams, girl!
So true ... she really does know him well!

And being Khushi, she can get into trouble even sitting quietly in a parked car ... I'm bored waiting, let me try my hand at pretending to drive ... and update my diary too - adding to her list of accomplishments, she managed to hurt Arnavji again by accident. Is she making a list of times she hurt Arnav to try and figure out which hurt it was that hurt him so much? Would be nice if they showed her thinking of that once in a while.
Time for trouble ... in the shape of traffic cop ... you're parked in No Parking, show me your license.

Don't have one ... I was just sitting here for fun.
Traffic cop is not amused ... you're not a child pretending to drive ... license or fine ...
HH reappears ... and is very amused to find wifey in trouble, and he's not going to help her out until she apologizes to him, for all the things he was annoyed about - her not telling him about the MIB, her holding forth on sabzi-bhaji ...
On second watch, I still didn't like the uthak-baithak ... should have stopped at holding her ears and saying sorry ... then I would have appreciated Arnav's teasing more ... as it was, it still came across as a mix of sulking and sour grapes ...
And she refuses to speak to him further ... no more demands for apologies or thanks, she's sulking too. Me on Khushi's side on this one ... good girl, give him the silent treatment!

Next day already? And Bitwa's voice still not back, so doctor is called ... doesn't he know of any medication which a diabetic can be given?! And doctor sahab, anti-histaminics are safe for diabetics! Payal suggests asking Buaji/Amma ... worried Khushi goes to do the needful.

Mami-Payal gear up for fashion show and speech. How come Payal speaks good English and not Khushi? Didn't they go to the same school? Good to see Payal's crocodile tears drying up slowly ... the equation slowly changing? Mami's one-liners - remix! =)) desi to videsi =))

Arnav being cajoled like a sulky two year old to be a good boy, drink up his nasty medicine, it's good for him ... and Arnav Bitwa refusing ... something that Khushi made can't be good for him. She's already a point up on the points table, he's not giving her any more opportunities to score.
Bitwa is seriously getting back his lost childhood here :))
Nani finally blackmails Bitwa with Anjali's name ... and Arnav, glaring at Khushi, succumbs ... glaring at her again, daring her to do an 'I told you so ...' wisely, she manages to refrain till he's out of sight.
So the entire family knows how to keep Arnav in order ... use Di ... Bitwa really needs to grow out of his Nirupama Di fixation ... he is so transparently easy to manipulate!

And Bitwa's voice returns .. much to his surprise ... oh no, she won again? More points to her? No way! So when a worried Khushi comes bursting in, asking if his voice is back, he plays dumb ... literally :))
Khushi getting more and more worked up ... 'this is the first time this kadha hasn't worked' ... smirk, smirk ... 'shouldn't be too surprised, there are lots of things which don't work on him' ... One glare at that one, and she pipes down ... but it's enough, he's loving this, seeing her all worked up and fretting about him, especially when he can now sit back and enjoy it ... so he needles her some more, reminding her of what the doctor said ... and Khushi falls for it ... who said she's smart? He's smarter ... more satisfied smirks as she bustles around cleaning the room ... finishes happily ... and then knocks over the cd rack and a plant with it ... more cleaning to be done! He almost shouts, remembers just in time that he's dumb, and holds back ... whoa, Arnav Singh Raizada, you actually held your temper for once ... just to keep Khushi fooled! So you can hold on to it when you really want to!

Nani tries to reassure Khushi that Arnav will be okay, but Khushi is too worried ... it's all her fault, she has to fix it. Again a pointer to the future - Nani was always Khushi's champion, and now she sees again Khushi's genuine penitence for what was a simple mistake, not a deliberate misdeed.

Shyam into action again - he's getting very desperate if he's trying to break into Arnav's cupboard when he's just outside in his garden. Foiled this time by NQ, with more remedies for Arnav's throat ... and he realizes he's being foolhardy ...

Khushi's last attempt to get back Arnav's voice ... tried and tested Bollywood ... scare him into shouting. And it works :)) Arnav can't stop himself from telling her she's mad!
Mama Mami were hilarious with their dialogues here ... Mama delighted, Mami horrified - hello hi Arnav bye bye ... Mama, wow, I didn't know these gharelu Bollywood nuska's of Khushi worked so well ... Payal chimes in, so does Nani ... Mama adds that now Arnav has to praise Khushi ... and Arnav has had enough ... that's what he's been trying his best to avoid doing all this while ... and he gives the game away himself - 'the stupid Bollywood nuska didn't work, it was the kadha that did the trick, three hours back ...'
Whoops ... hence proved ... yet again ... when Bitwa gets annoyed, his brain goes straight on shut down mode ...

Mama and family are tickled ... so Arnav was fooling them all? Playing pranks? But Khushi is angry ... 'you lied to me, you deceived me ... why?!'
Hit him hard? Was that why his mood changed suddenly? She, who's been lying to him, deceiving him, is accusing him? He doesn't have to ...
He shuts up ... belatedly remembering the listening family members. Mama again very cute ...'we've overstayed our welcome, let Khushi bitiya do the hisaab with Bitwa ... carry on, bitiya' ... leaving no doubt, whose side he's on ... cute Mama!
And alone with Arnav, Khushi blasts again ... 'why did you lie to me? Seeing me so worried, were you having fun?!'
And Arnav lets loose ... 'I didn't want you to get the credit ...'
Giving Khushi another glimpse of what? His ego? His arrogance? Unless they change the last bit of the scene on Monday, or carry on from there, he hasn't given her any clue as to the real truth bugging him ... the words were chosen to emphasize his ego and his soreness over being shown up to look dumb in his office ...

Thoughts - cv's working very hard on bringing Khushi's character back, thank god they finally woke up. Childlike rather than childish, always ready to accept her fault and try her best to make amends ... and always sensitive to other people's pain. Unfortunately it seems that Arnav is still wearing the blinkers of the terrace scene, which blind him to seeing anything else.

The last dialogues of Arnav's - emphasized his ego more than anything else. On re-watch I got that his mood changed when she said that he lied to her, deceived her, but it wasn't very obvious ... I had to look for the change.Cv's should have emphasized it more ... with some change of bg music or something ... I also looked whether Arnav took a look at Shyam or Shyam took a look at Khushi to set Arnav off, but that didn't happen either.

So this episode and Thursday's seemed to be more about bringing Khushi back on track, and as usual, the cv's tend to go overboard and compromise the other character when they do that ... Friday was about redeeming Khushi and reviving Arnav's ego ... and his blinkered outlook on life. His eyes have seen a scene, his brain processed it, and gave him a hazy conclusion which the frightened, abandoned child in him accepted as the truth - another person he loved has abandoned him, just like his mother did, and all he has left to hold on to is his Di - again. And he can't and won't forget that ... even though his heart tells him time and again that he's wrong. He will not allow himself to soften towards Khushi, admit that she has any redeeming qualities, because he's made up his mind that she abandoned him, and he hates her for that. Even though it's getting difficult to remember that at times ... many times.

Nani again sees the side of Khushi that always accepts her mistakes and does her best to rectify them or atone for her mistakes ...

    1. geetu, the episode was okay.. that's what made the last line that bad. it seems they started the week with the hate track, ended on the same note. but not as vicious as the beginning.

    2. i just hopes that khushi gives a befitting reply....that she didnt do all this for any credit...she was worried that his voice was healing n he can keep all the credit to himself...

  3. Dia - hope you had a safe journey and wish you all the best.

Caught the last bit..........ouch! nok jhok in open, aur woh bhi Jijaji ke saamne.............tsk, tsk..........Bitwa's Mom was right - whoever chooses to love him, has to have an amazing deep well of love, affection and kindness to put up with him and his mood swings...

    1. That I agree with... He's a very difficult man to love. Moody is an understatement and ego is ever ruling...

  4. Dia,
Am glad u did the post....I was truly at a loss for words while attempting a summary...a singularly unsatisfactory episode..i did not feel this bad even at the height of the MU.

After y'day's epi which was 2 step forward, somehow this was 4 steps backward....have never been one to read signs...so failed miserably to see any
Did the attack by Khushi set him off becos he appeared to be in a totally diff mood before that....ok..i did not care much for the cleaning etc but put it to his way of getting back at her but the vicious way in which the epi ended really broke my heart. what was the provocation?

  6. The episode opens with Arnav slamming the brakes. Since he’s lost his voice and can’t tell Khushi to ‘Get Out!’ he storms off himself leaving Khushi happily talking to herself. Khushi wonders whether he’s gone to get her a gift because he literally can’t say Sorry or Thank You...then she’s gives herself a reality check and tells herself to stop dreaming ...Awww...felt like saying don’t worry woh din bhi aayenge...
I have to say in the whole scene that followed the cop was the smartest...So Khushi for some reason is fascinated by the car and decides to climb into the driver’s seat. Not quite sure why she was trying to start the car- I think it’s safe to say if she doesn’t have a license she probably doesn’t know how to drive:-s...But I like her ‘what the’ at the cars refusal to start.
SN: I like how she’s incorporated his favourite words into her own lingo...though Barun says it better...when Barun says ‘What the!’ there’s a trailing void left like he was going to say Wtf/wt hell...when Khushi says it, its just what the. Full stop and carry on with the rest of her monologue.
So instead she gets busy noting down her latest misdemeanour in her yellow diary...correct me if I’m wrong...wasn’t that for her 100 ways to annoy ASR...why is she writing about feeling bad about ASR losing his voice because of her?
Traffic cop comes along because HH(still hot tempered hubby) has conveniently left the car parked bang in front of a no parking sign and he asks Mrs. Raizada to show her license. She tries explaining that she was just sitting in the seat not driving but he doesn’t believe anyone would be so childish...hmmm....is all I can say;-)...Arnav comes back with bottle of water in hand to find biwi in trouble sporting a 100 watt smile at the sight of him knowing he’ll get her out of this mess. She really does attract twice as much trouble as she gets out of. But ASR’s ego is a little bruised and it’s time for some payback...I actually didn’t mind the uthak baithak scene as much as I though I would –maybe because I was prepared and I laughed out loud at Khushi’s ‘Noddy imitation’...I enjoyed the comedy today.
Arnav’s nonchalant shrug was really funny and even funnier when Khushi starts her uthak baithak the bewildered cop (who’s probably wondering how old Khushi is) tells her that this isn’t school you can’t get away with uthak baithak...and she angrily snaps at him- this isn’t for you this is for my egomaniacal husband ok! And ego salvaged- Arnav complies...Eventually even the cop goes a little barmy dealing with Arhi and says ...’mein kya kar raha hoon?!!’ and walks off...ROFL

    1. I loved how nani has no qualms in blackmailing him with his beloved Di. Poor Arnav everyone knows his weakness and they all happily exploit it. Personally I’m sick of this whole-anything for Di attitude and I hope the family members exploit it as much as possible.

Nani’s line ...’Yes yes I know you are ASR and know everything- but still drink the kadha’ was very cute...reminded me of the times when I was sick in bed and my mum placated me with ‘yes yes you know best but have this anyway.’...hehehe...today he was a total kid...

And lo and behold buaji’s magic kadha works its magic and Arnav is genuinely relieved ‘oh wow its back!’-Barun please ENUNCIATE. But he’s not quite ready to admit it to biwi...Wow he really does have a big ego...he should by another RM for his ego, only then will he be able to happily share his life and room with wifey.

So he lies..nope voice isn’t back-guess you’re going to have to keep worrying about me and Arnav’s baleful look-ROFL.... I liked the scene...in fact I liked the track...Arnav playacting just to trouble Khushi was fun. Okay the reason may have been a little silly but it wasn’t such a big deal...she with all her incessant worrying- even nani tells her to relax it’ll become okay- but ODG is feeling so genuinely bad that he lost her voice because of her that she has to find a way to fix it- What if his voice never comes back?... I loved all his expressions and their interactions...her bringing him hot water to gargle with again taking care not to let him burn his hand even though she was holding the hot glass bare handed...her knocking over the plant and his shrugging-ok clean up if you want to... Khushi’s ‘waise laad governer par kafi cheez kaam nahin karti...’? Even him secretly wondering whether she’d figured him out...

I’ve heard of scaring away hiccups-and I know firsthand that works but how does that work for laryngitis?...

mami’s hello hi-Arnav bitwa bye bye was really funny...

Was it me or did Shyaam look a little like- No khushiji that’s not how you do away with a Raizada sibling- more subtlety is required trust me I’ve tried...

bitwa’s voice is back in fact its back quite a while ago...bitya really ticked off and the rest of the family suddenly remembers they have places to be, things to do...liked mamaji’s ‘lage raho’ ...they’ve all always known she’s the only one who can handle him when he gets like this so they scurry off.

Okay I agree Arnav was really petty here but I guess we’re meant to remember that he thinks she’s the ‘home wrecking other woman’ when he behaves this way...I think the reason there’s a disparity in how he behaves with her is because sometimes he just gets caught up in the moments (their verbal sparring and silly fights) and sometimes he can’t help himself (niharofying and RV’s) and then he remembers who she is and what she’s done and it all comes flooding back.

    4. Hey Gargi...thks for ur post...
Of late, i have to watch the epis twice to see it in better light...total duffer me!!
I now agree that A's outburst is in keeping with his character....
Now i see this in diff light
      1) He was enjoying K running around for him....her worry was apparent then too.....he knew that she was worried...but the moment she asked him angrily about keeping her in the dark about his ailment getting cured, the volcano erupted.....of course he still sees her as the perpetrator!! Yeah, the dialogue about "credit" got me maha-confused.....it was lame almost...but i get the drift now

      Delete
    5. @Gargi.... the difference between ASR's 'what the' and Khushi's 'what the' is cause ASR knows the last (incomplete) word.... and khushi doesn't... i guess for her its only 'what the'...nothing after that, hehehe

    6. Hahaha true Geetu...exactly what I meant to say too:-)...

But I do find it cute that she's also started saying 'what the' almost as much as him, even though she doesn't know the whole line...hehehe...she's really quite endearing. Poor bitwa didn't really have a chance...

  9. Girls,

    Some thought over the weekend..
when I watched the epi again, I saw A actually smiling while watering the plants...so he was in a pretty decent mood then...What caused the change....is he upset to hear Khushi say that she was worried for him becos he cannot accept what he considers her duplicity? Is that it? Thats the only rational explanation that i can could come up with for his volte-face. As if he can't accept any kind words from her.

Frankly, if this is so...I feel the makers are going about this depiction in a very convoluted manner. All the very best to them!! For it will be understood with great difficulty becos A as a character is almost inscrutable..such actions will make sense after deep analysis only....at first watch, what strikes u is the horrible lack of balance in the man, Arnav... u realise what is in store for ODG, ODB is not an easy man to love!! Anyways who said love stories are easy..

  10. Gargi agree with all your views ....you summed it up beautifully. Just watched the epi .....except the BD .....i liked it. Payaliya is getting confident. She smiles and is interacting with Khushi. The siblings effect is coming back, A-A and P-K. They have figured out by now that they really don't have to act like lovey dovey couple. Family is pretty cool with their Tom and Jerry relationship. Mama's statement was indicative.

I have also noticed Payaliya calls Nani .... Nani not Dadi as its for Akash ......nice touch, as thats what she is used to addressing her as......and no jetani devrani tamasha. IPKKND is all about ArHi and their love hate relationship and it will always remain so. Kudos to cv's. Still do not agree with bathroom rvs and shirtlessness. Cv's can do much much better episodes without them.

I love Shyaam and his failed attempts ......it goes with the reality of his situation .....he needs the money ......he got a perfect situation for that ......and a greedy shamless slimy person can only succeed as far as creating a misunderstanding or harm someone physically but not really break a bond between two person, no matter how much distance he brings between them. Be it the siblings or the lovers.

Heer-Ranjha .....will this be a revisit to their first meeting?!?! Thats the first thing that came to my mind. Unfolding of things like maybe Anji coming to know K is the same girl in that video and teasing Arnav ......making them go down the memory lane.

    2. yeah and anjali called HP hari prasad.. and in the next line sham called him hari prakash.. who writes the script for these side characters?

again, payal speaks excellent english.. is she a college graduate? I remember in her first wedding, khushi was much younger than her.. so maybe khushi never went to college(if she's 19?)

      Delete
    3. @jaya.. me too was wondering that and how come when payal speaks such good english, khushi's english all bayfriend and phoone and bujinessman... are they not from the similar school... or maybe payal was convent studied and khushi being an orphan sent to an ordinary school for namesake....

  13. There's something that's sort of bothered me about this track and I was wondering what you guys think...

How is it alright for Arnav to take the decision that his Di is too delicate to hear the news of her husbands infidelity? In light of her pregnancy he decides that its better to give his Brother-in-law a second chance or to tell her after the pregnancy. But that really isn't his decision to make. Is it?

In fact the pregnancy should have compelled him to tell her sooner shouldn't it?

I have absolutely no views either supporting or opposing this in general but shouldn't it have been Anjali's decision whether she wanted to keep the child? She's shown to be in her late twenties and isn't it quite possible that once she came to know of Shyaam's unfaithfulness she would have chosen to leave him and perhaps taken the decision that she can't raise a child by herself and also that she may want to move on and get remarried someday and doesn't want a child right now. I'm not advocating any path I'm just saying that by not telling her the truth Arnav and Khushi have effectively taken the decision for her. They've not left the choice with Anjali who is the only on who really has the right to decide.

I know she's elated at the prospect of becoming a mother... I just feel that its not fair to tell her after she's had the baby. They should have told her before and the decision to keep her child in spite of the fact that she may be a single mother should have been her own decision fully conscious of all the facts.

    1. I know the story obviously couldn't have progressed in the way the CV's wanted if they had told her. I just feel that; Yes Arnav's wronged Khushi and Khushi's wronged Arnav and Anjali by not telling them when she found out. But the person who has been wronged by all of them; her own brother, Khushi whom she cares about so much, the entire Gupta family and of course her reptilian spouswa is the person who doesn't get to decide her own fate. Seems even more convoluted somehow.

    2. gargs, you are forgetting the traditional indian sensibility here..
anjali is married to sham. now if she conceived, the child is guaranteed a family. cheating husband is not enough reason, no one ever thinks of abortion.. In fact i am glad that snake is seen as hoping for a daughter because that itself is a bit of soch nayi.

arnav would have told her about sham and khushi.. in fact, he went and told her.. but she fainted. and then she was so happy about her pregnancy. Arnav thought that if he gives sham another chance in light of this news, and ties up khushi's freedom, he is giving hi Di another chance at happiness. (because even when mad, he does not believe that khushi is sham's mistress(dettol rinse) but that khushi is in love with snake and wants RRR to leave his wife... which now will not happen because di is expecting, and he will marry K.

in view of anjali's love for sham, we have seen how many pujas she does, how many vraths she took.. how happy she is when he cares for her.. her hysteria when her mangalsutra broke.. I guess now both bitiya and bitwa know that anjali is a bit unstable when it comes to sham.

which is why both of them did not try to tell her again.

the gupta house, on the other hand, only cared for payal's wedding.. if sham's truth is exposed, the wedding will not happen/payal will be kicked out of RM along with khushi.. they dont want that, so they dont tell anyone..

    3. I understand both Khushi and Arnav's decision my only question is that with a child in the picture shouldn;t it have been Anjali' decision? Yes of course she has a family and I really doubt she would have not wanted the child but its just that it should have been her choice, her decision...

But on the other hand I understand your point that had Arnav's plan worked and Shyaam given up on Khushi Anjali may never have needed to know...

      Delete
    4. it would have been anjalis decision if it were not india.. here, married woman + pregnant = baby.. no other way about it.. no need to ask anjali's opinion on this, she has established her position as a traditional SP wife.

    5. @gargi....alongwith being an Indian traditional family, the fact that Arnav behaves like Anji's father forced him to take the decision on her behalf... its like parents thinking that they know the best for their child and therefore have all the rights to take the decision for them....

and khushi taking the decision, i feel her nature to take decision for her family got extended to anji cause, after payash wedding got fixed, she started seeing anji and raizada's as her own extended family.....

also since she unknowingly loved arnav, so telling them and hurting them in the process was a strict no-no...she didnt knew that all this was planned by shyam, she thought maybe buaji was forcing him unknowingly n he being a good man, cudnt refuse (difficult to digest) but he did come out clean in front of the guptas and did try to tell her that he was wrong......

      Delete
    6. @Gargi, i totally agree that in a normal non-narnia/ipk world, the decision should have been Anji's - no doubt about it - BUT i also feel that when we love someone and know that person really well (like ODB knows his sister) we kind of can predict what decisions they will make - look around you - forget real life - even in this virtual world, we Arhi lovers can predict how ODB&G should behave, infact all our debates start when we feel they are 'not in character' - so coming to your point - once ODB saw his sister ecstatic about the baby and he knew how much she wanted one - he was sure she would not be able to handle this new, fall sick, have a nervous breakdown (go wonkier than she is!) - so he took the decision for her - it was not what he wanted for her but what he (and ODG) thought she wanted for herself - am i making sense?

    7. Gargi,

I get what u are saying in this post and I actually agree with u (sensibilities is another matter!)
In real life, usually counsel is taken from trusted ones in "dharm sankat" situations....in reel life, as u rightly said, it is the source of the drama so MUs fester.

If u analyse the situation, it all comes down to who had the information on Shyam's deeds.
Khushi will have to bear the cross although we know she did it for a very selfless reason. In real life, it would be so easy for someone to turn back and tell Khushi" Thanks but no thanks" meaning, it was not her call at all..In life, sometimes, even when u have the best interests at heart, one can get questioned for impropriety.....What was Khushi's locus standi in the matter? Actually none. She was an employee...If she chose not to divulge, she should have stayed out of their business completely but by aligning herself to the family and getting more enmeshed in their affairs, she complicated matters for herself and Shyam's truth became her cross to bear..

Having said that, I also agree, K's character could not have done anything differently..those were her sensibilities and she was responding to that. Her nature to think of others before herself has caused her this pain but some people are like that..and even if they were to be in such a situation again, they would exactly do the same thing!!

      Delete
  14. Gargi ......in these situations all you may desire is the safety of your beloved ones sanity........rest can wait......its ugly and painful but for some weird reason when a child comes in equation no logical sense works ........talking abt shyaam-anjali situation ........how often we see it in society specially here in sub-continent ......everyone puts up with the b*****d and gives him a second chance with the baby coming ...... All these happens with full knowledge of wife and here poor anji has no idea abt her creepy snake.......never seen a good ending to such a situation ......at the end its always a mistake to have given the second chance.

  15. so, rewatched the episode. now in a better mood.

ODB does not know anything about common courtesy, right? yes, he knows about pulling out a chair for a Lady.. but a simple thanks for his wife... forget it. he got irritated at her gloating over her saving the company.. he went to get water(!) and came back and got her to do uthak baithak. mogambo khush hua... aur biyia naraaz.

    NEXT DAY.
    no work today!
and.. doc says he can't have normal meds..( where is this doctor from? does not even know laryngitis medication for diabetics!)

SN: was that a mentos that bitiya gave bitwa in the last episode? ;)

kaada for sore throat.. okay. he could not act more like an 8 year old if he tried. aww sho adooorable. di ke liye kuch bhi.. (as if it was for his di that he drank.. he drank it only for the one in the pink suit.. her baddi baddi aankhen were begging him to.. because he was looking straight at he the whole time. not at nani, because thats where he would look if he was doing it for the threat of a phonecall. ) and in his room.. ODG is running around like a headless chicken and he is happily enjoying her tension. was that a tom and jerry smile on his face? of course it was. and that puppydog expression.. aww! i am almost loving this playful Thomas Cat that bitwa has become...

and shyam in his room.. arnav was in his garden, khushi was running around, yet he found time to slip in? this bermuda triangle thing is grating on my nerves now. NQ comes with ginger tea.. where was ODG? anyways.. shyam hides..

a breadknife makes its way towards the fake goonga.. what yaar.. at least some pointy knife??? CVs why? you had the knife that payal was cutting onions with.. why this one?

family in the living room hear khushi's voice on the loudspeaker.. you know, from the magical poolside that never gives out a whisper .. and they run up the stairs. ... and they run down the stairs to get to where the bollywood murder is happening. (make a noose and kill me now!)

first she shows him that this is what she has.. now I will kill yoou.. get ready.. one, two... duck and deflect.. okay. now you have completed the first part of your self defense class.

and manno screams bloody murder.. call the police.. "aa gaya" WT? oh his awwaaj!!

TF who was in their bedroom is suddenly on the other side of the poolside. apparition again? and he gets extra screenspace, just for looking dumbfounded.. editor bhaiyya, why don't you include the bits of arnav choking on his kaada and khushi's extra dialogues(which we know were shot.. we see SBS and SBB you know!) instead of that stupid snakewa face for no reason?

...and bitwa blurts out the truth.. classic face there, loved it.
and april fool. okay then.. drama done.. lets go and let them bicker in peace. (loved mamaji here.. and I love mamaji sscenes.. but did the CVs forget that he was a globetrotting businessman before?)

and she has to sunao him. yes, she deserves to. he became well because he drank her bua's nuska kaada. hmm. but thats not why he gets angry.. he's angry because he was enjoying her tension, and in one dialogue, she made him feel guilty about that..

and he hurts her. i dint want you to get any credit..( he could have said it so many ways.. the playful way was expected. instead, he gets all devdas on her.. why? when he was enjoying it all a moment ago??)

When Khushi pulled off her EOW stunt at the office she sort of showed up Arnav at his own office and okay she saved them from a rotten deal but he's entitled to be a little annoyed that she didn't tell him directly instead of launching into her 'sabzi monolgue'...

An already annoyed Arnav gets a chance for a little payback when the traffic cop catches Khushi...This wasn't a spiteful-must take revenge kind of payback but more of a-you showed me up in my own office well fine I can get back at you.

Then with the kadha...he doesn't believe in all these silly home remedies...an allopathy man all the way...and to his shock her home remedy works...he remembers her complete confidence that she can sort out his voice and he remembers his own derisive scoffing at her...he's glad his voice is back but did she have to be right? Again?...

And with ego in tow he just cannot admit to her that not only did she save him from a bad business deal (albeit in a very strange fashion) but she also fixed his sore throat. So he tells a small white lie...even here he's not being spiteful or genuinely nasty but more childish and stubborn- she can't know she was right again!! Come on!... and I felt somewhere he enjoyed taking the mickey out of her and watching her fret over him...

And even when he accidentally opens his mouth to bite back at his gullible family for believing that Khushi's bollywood theatrics worked and reveals his own secret his first thought is 'uh oh' (not spiteful and angry yet...). Then once Khushi raises her voice and accuses him of being duplicitous...of giving her 'dhoka' of keeping her in the dark...that little switch goes off. her hypocrisy makes him angry...he says the truth-he didn't want her to get credit! but at that time it was more of -she can't always be right...and after hearing her hypocritical words the bitterness and spite seeps in..

Its happened before also...When she accuses of him hurting her...when she speaks of how nice Anjali is...her hypocrisy really hurts him and he always lashes back-how can she be so two-faced?...that trigger was why he went from shrugging and teasing looks to angry and hurt.

    2. Jaya,

When Khushi saves AR group from the rotten deal she sort of shows up Arnav on his own turf. Somewhere that pinched a little. Also in all fairness he’s entitled to be a little annoyed at Khushi for not telling him directly and instead launching into her ‘sabzi monologue’ .

So when Khushi gets caught by the cops and needs Arnav to bail her out he gives her a little payback...he’s not being spiteful or mean here he’s simply getting back at her for one upping him...It may not have been classy ASRish but it was harmless and not premeditated anger (Arnav’s anger is never premeditated...it comes and goes with snap of your fingers)

At home a determined Khushi is certain she can find a way to fix her husband’s sore throat. Arnav belligerently drinks Khushi’s home remedy-the kadha. An allopathy man through and through, he scoffs at her remedy and walks off. And then to his genuine surprise her remedy works!-how annoying! He’s really glad his voice is back-but did it have be because of his wife’s remedy? He remembers her complete confidence that her home remedies will work and remembers his own derisive scoffing...Damn. Once again it’s not out of spite and anger but more out of stubborn childishness that he doesn’t want to tell her she’s right.

So with ego in tow he tells her a small white lie and enjoys watching her struggle to find ways to help him...and somewhere he even enjoys that she’s fretting so much about him.

Even when he accidently lets slip his secret while he tells off his gullible family for thinking Khushi’s bollywood theatrics cure him his first thought is ‘uh oh’. He’s not angry or annoyed. Only when Khushi raises her voice at accuses him of ‘dhoka’ and keeping her in the dark does his anger surface. Her hypocrisy triggers his anger and its then that the spite and bitterness seep into his words and actions. Yes he didn’t want her to get credit...but before it wasn’t such a big deal it was more about having to admit she was right again. Now when he says those words they still ring true but his anger and hurt at her duplicity rule supreme. Once again the anger isn’t premeditated just a reaction to her own two-facedness.

He reacts just as he has in the past...when she says he has hurt her...when she talks about how wonderful Di is...whenever she appears fake or hypocritical his hurt and bitterness surface and he lashes out at her.

    Just caught the new promo...
They show a man giving Khushi an award on stage, I guess for winning the fancy dress thing...
She says "ye inaam hum nahin le sakte." so the person says, "kyun?"
So she says, "kyunki hume ye inaam apne pati ke saath nahin lena..."
so naniji comes and says, "khushi bitiya, ye aap kya keh rahin hai? aakhir aap ye inaam chote ke saath kyun nahin le sakti?"

and the voiceover says, "aakhir kya rok raha hai khushi ko ye inaam lene se?"

Dia: Soooo glad to know your dad is doing well. My best wishes for his speedy recovery.

A biiiiiiiig thankyou to everyone who posted the last week and helped me to be in touch with the happenings of the show.

I don't recognize this Arnav or Khushi and want the ones whom I fell in love with back.

    WT????

Monday - I hate you, I hate you more*yawn yawn yawn*, Can we move on...The only plus point - He accidentally hurts her, turns back immediately...unlike last time of their I hate you, where he didn't care....Again *yawn, yawn, yawn*

Tuesday - Delhi main baali = Kanjoos PH

Dance didn't work for me at all...If it was about ownership, they didnt show the person it was intended for, aka Shyam. And what was that white belt thingy straight out of jantar mantar market? For me the dance almost wiped off what Teri Meri dance did....And now we are in for Heer Ranjha *HEAD DESK*

Seriously we want them to talk, fight their way into each other and not dance their way...Just because Teri Meri worked doesn't mean we are going to be slapped with a dance which is badly edited everytime they run out of ideas, grrrrr

What worked for me in the episode was Her silence, her acceptance of what he says continues to bug him, he wants her to fight back..I am referring to the I will go first and change scene, That is Arhi, not this Boogie Woogie Couple we are being subjected to.

Wed - Them waking up together was Awwwwwww....After that it was Mehhhhhhhh....

Thurs - *head desk* The great ASR & AR Group almost taken for a ride and Khushi saving them*smells horribly of SP Bahu*..Yes, I liked the whole scenes....the problem is this is not what I want to see. And when did AR group become small or midrange company. We finally had 1 hero in our telly who could look after his own business and woh bhi choupat ho gaya...And Really Akash, didn't do background check, then why was ASR so keen that the deal goes through?

What happened to the ASR who slapped a photogrpher and threw some 50 odd lakhs on his face?*head desk again*

Fri - Didn't care for the uthak baithak, her on a cleaning spree and here is the thing..If Khushi is accused of being juvenile, ASR is no better. If khushi has failed to capitalize on the hints ASR has been dropping so has Arnav. He has completely ignored the fact that she values his family, her relationship with his family and the out of the way she cared for him.

    DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.....Say it with me IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!

    MORE RANT:

Everything that was sacred about ARHI IS TOTALLY LOST FOR ME. The emotional connection is gone, kaput.

ASR was a guy who commanded respect the moment he entered the frame irrespective of whether you agreed with him or not. He didn't have to take off his shirt every week, dance every month, could manage his business on his own thank you very much and looked like an eligible millionaire bachelor..Now he looks tired, scruffy and makes me go WT WT WT?

Khushi was a girl who you were rooting for, lit up your face with her intelligence and innocence and you could actually see why he would fall for her and she for him.

Now the only thing that remains is that these two idiots absolutely deserve each other, so some other person is spared.

    *rant over*

Tomorrow is another week, waiting to see if the show gets back on its track or gets lost like so many shows that started with a bang and then went down without a whimper.

Hoping for the best next week:)

exactly!! we are now seeing a barun-ified arnav and the whole thing stinks..

AR was supposed to be a big thing.. not a small office eager to finance their factory via shady dealers(or staff that go bersek over home-cooked food). CVs, watch the first 2 months of the serial again.. you will see what we're talking about!

I think next week will be the same watered down thing shweths... it has happened in many serials, and is because people forget easily and the storyline becomes more and more protracted , so watered down with (what the viewers want/what the SP wants/what raises TRPs) that the original storyline is left by the wayside.

  22. ok girls...I had a very basic, stupid question - Arnav is supposed to be living with his nani (mother's mother), he puts his sirname as raizada.. so he prefers to put his mother's maiden sirname as his sirname too?? What was/is his father's sirname?? Anjali is obviously no more a raizada..she is married to shyam, so her sirname is Jha.. and Akash is Arnav's maternal cousin, so his sirname should be raizada..that all fits... but something that has been irking me since many days is why does Arnav put Raizada as his sirname?

I haven't seen the episodes in the first couple of months, so I don't know if they have given an explanation there..!

    4. aww jaya..thanks for the links! :) starplayer link works for me, so its good! :) but now I have another doubt.. :P the recurring flashback of Arnav's is anjali's wedding or she is just dressed up for some occasion maybe.. and a lady running from behind and Arnav shouting out "Ma!", and in this flashback when chachaji throws arnav and anjali out of the house, they both seem very very young! So if his chachaji threw him out after his parents died, and if the recurring flashback of Arnav's is the night of his parents' death (it can't be after chachaji thre him out, because in his recurring flashback he shouts out ma), then how come Anjali is so big in his flashback while again the young girl when his chachaji throws them out? :P

sorry for appearing confusing, but its not making sense to me! :P

    5. Lol very astute mads.... You got it in one watch... IMO thats a blooper and the PH didn't have time to shoot it again.

I think what they were trying to convey was that either during the wedding or in one of the functions their mother dies ( murder/suicide/accident - dunno yet. ) and due to some reason/scandal/parents death anji's first marriage is called off...and the brother and sister are kicked to the curb and taken in by their mothers family

In the fb where they are thrown out Anjali's a kid..probably a blooper because the wedding scene was definitely in sheesh mahal and ergo definitely before they were thrown out and Daljeet was in that scene. So they prob didn't have time to reshoot or thought that the main point- them getting kicked out was conveyed.

    6. OMG OMG! just saw the link you posted Jaya and seriously - what the hell has happened to the CVs (and the fashion diretors - ASR looked soo soo stylish in a good blazer and cravat!) - i really think the directors should have a re-cap session where they see for themselves what they had created and where they are heading now -

    7. I don't know the exact situation, but as far as I have gathered, arnav was 15 when they were thrown out of sheesh mahal. his father was murdered by chachaji (questionable) and his mom was running away (to where, we dont know) on anjali's first wedding day, when she was shot dead(assumption) so, that marriage did not happen.

the CVs never did elaborate on the flashback, and later a promo said that khushi was somehow responsible for his painful past.. and they never showed anything further on that track either.

I think that storyline was abandoned in favor of the current romcom.

mona, I will repeat my reply to shwetha.."it has happened in many serials, and is because people forget easily and the storyline becomes more and more protracted , so watered down with (what the viewers want/what the SP wants/what raises TRPs) that the original storyline is left by the wayside."

  23. hey ladies, where is everyone? nothing's happening here.. last week the story was a complete disconnect, monday and tuesday half were beautifully super serious, then the story reverted to last week's comedy track.. then the CVs tried very hard to apologize and get the story back in line. so that it is semi-serious now.. now with the spoilers, i guess half of next week will be comedy as well.. what do you think?

  24. His Chachaji threw him and his sister out onto the street when his parents died (all from Arnav's flashback when he buys sheesh mahal- their childhood home- back from his Chachaji). So he doesn't want to associate himself with them - conjecture here...so he took on his mothers maiden name

  26. Hey girls !! got little time so a quick hi hello bye bye to everyone.
Dia hope your Dad is well and praying for his speedy recovery.
    Shwetha (Hugs) welcome back!!
Exactly where is the ASR who commanded respect with his mere presence? Yes agree with Khushi in his life he has to mellow down. But that's completely a personal change. Why degrading him in his office? I have known people who still command that respect irrespective of what change happens in their personal life which makes them mellow down. They are more understanding but never lose that respect. For me the day when ODG/B had the water fight in the office -ASR was degraded for me. And have the writers changed or they forgot what they have given before. The first few episodes were -ASR down the chopper- with million dollar deal for sheesh mahal? Now turned into a midrange company that needs some other to set up a factory? WT WT??? That’s what happens when you keep the boss at home ... That’s crap and sheer negligence from the writer and more so from the director. I can ignore the background check from ASR since he did give the responsibility to Akash and would had complete faith in him and went ahead with the deal, that was oblivious with his surprised expression when the Cons entered the conference hall. And Please CVs work on the sets, first the ASR Bathroom now the conference hall with bar stools? *head desk*
@Jaya and Gargi agree with you both agree with Arnav’s reactions and hence liked it. I had to watch it thrice to understand. Thank you girls for links watched the earlier episodes again.
@ Mads thanks for asking that question which was in my mind for long time too, but tend to forget to ask here.
Now again a dance sequence? What with the promo? Khushi not accepting the award?

    1. Hi aaru, I was waiting for someone to mention the bar stools! what the ****! Hi Fi fashion house, the whole room minus the barstools looked like a waiting lounge!

in the first episodes the introduction was.. multinational firm, one of the richest men in the country, press follows him everywhere.. takes a helicopter to travel from delhi to lucknow..

and then slowly, the feel of the storytelling changed.. after khushi's resignation from AR, the glitz went. family drama came, then friendship, the style went. then doublecrossing, then again family drama, then romance, betrayal and wedding. up until then, at least there was a honesty to his character.

after the wedding, only Devi Maiyya knows whats happening their characters.... and the story. is it a new writer? new director? new hotchpotch script? maybe its because bitiya is not friends with DM anymore.

maybe there is a deeper meaning behind every move, every dialogue.. but I am not as deep as all that. frankly, it takes me two tries to understand what an episode was about, what the honey and hazel eyes talked to each other...(you know those two hold innumerable conversations with hardly any dialogue... only a background music to tell us what they feel), and by then I'm irritated with the bloopers. it takes thinkers like Dia and some handpicked others to get me to see any meaning in the story.

however, I have to admit that it is always fun on the first watch. as such, it serves the purpose of a TVserial. temporary transport to another world. i guess my problem with this is t, {{I expect a lot more}} considering I know the back story like the back of my hand.

and mads, anjali's wedding seems to be after they came to RM. their mom was still alive after their father's death, and hence they went to RM. so anjali's non-wedding happened at RM.. and I remember after arshi wedding, nani said chote turned out to be just like his dad.. (only reference to his past in recent times) so maybe the kids were living with dad while their mom lived at RM? and had to come to mom since dad died? or something something.. I'm sure they will show this somewhere in the next 200 episodes..

dia, good luck for your dad's speedy recovery. safe travels!

  27. HAve been reading Shweths (glad to have u back) and Aaru's comments!!

I just get the feeling in building the trust track, in the style that the CVs are doing, there are going to be some casualties.....in terms of characterisations, props....the first we saw was in the office, in terms of showing ASR company in poor light.....while the attempt there was to show that K being A's voice to allow for some truths were to emerge, the casualty was AR's company's reputation...from a large co it was by deduction reduced to a mid-sized company...
OK a more manageable situation in terms of expectation for the PH..so i don't know if it was deliberate attempt to insert that Mid-sized co dialogue but it jars with the old reputation of AR!!

Similarly, while we can accept that A was going to find a way to get back at K for the masti at the office, I thot the traffic situation was probably a lame way to do it...i have seen posts on IF detailing the importance of the road in ARHI relationship but I think the CVs could have been more creative here...a diff scene establishing the same thing perhaps...

On Arnav's reactions in the last scene, I want to go back to what Dia mentioned in her edited post...that Cvs should have inserted some byplay between Arnav and Shyam when Khushi initially talked about "dhoka"....becos the sudden change in Arnav was not easily understood.

I guess the style of CVs is to show things in a subtle manner and not in dramatic fashion, which is why they expect viewers to understand the changes that the characters are undergoing..rather having them as monologues etc...

While it is great as a style, they are also opening themselves to scrutiny on how some of those situations are going to be read, Production values are going to get commented on...if it is not top notch....( personally, i wouldn't bother whether they sat on bar stools or sensible office chairs if i had a gripping scene which was adding naturally to the story) In this case, it was a scene intended to convey something where i had to really use all my powers of deduction to comprehend...therefore, i was also drawn to commenting on the workplace props....

    1. Yep A huge thank u to DM...for changing the concept of dance to act....still unclear why the theme of Heer ranjha (what parallels in their story do they wnt to indicate thru this....Heer in the traditional Punjabi story was a rich girl and Ranjha, a jat who left his home to come to Heer's village after a fight in the family and spent much of his time playing the flute)...Heer is poisoned by her uncle on her marriage day and Ranjha can't save her so he kills himself..they are much like the other pairs of star-crossed lovers like the sohni-mahiwal, laila-majnu , romeo-juliet etc.
btw, nani looked ok to me in the snaps, what causes her not to pair wth K...and what makes A step in? an offer from Shyam to pair up wth K, is it?
What are the new signs we will need to decode? THis is becoming like a maze that we need to solve...Signs Signs Signs....need help!!DM please pukar suno..

  29. Hey all ... am enjoying all the discussions here ... not able to post any as I'm still rushing around ...

I'm glad that Heer Ranjha is going to be a play, not a dance. Nani did mention that the fashion show has changed to a Best Jodi competition - let's see how the cv's work that in. I don't see Payal-Mami anywhere in the pics, so obviously they have gotten held up somewhere ;)

Will be back at episode time with the new post :)

  30. Rekha,

Tu kinni cute hai. Initially too I had thought that the spoler giver may have mistaken a playact to be a dance. It was always supposed to be a fancy dress and also could have thwobacks to that first fashion show.

The first scene I recalled when I heard of the heer ranjha track was from Aaja nachle (saw it last weekend). Kunal Kapoor and Konkona after overcoming thier initial dislike and hate are practising and He asks her, What is this luv shuv all about. And she simply tells him, Luv is luv. They are at a stage where both like each other but are hesitant to tell the other and also wonder what exactly the other thinks of them.

At the end, Kunal's character tells konkona's character, I will not do this play with you. She is all worked up and says Why, now what did I do. He simply tells her it is not What you did but How well you did what you needed to that makes me say this. I cannot see you die time and again even if it is only an act and in jest.

And I was reminded of the original Hindi movie HeerRanjha (Raajkumaar)

milo naa tum to hum ghabaraye,
    milo to aankh churaye
    humei kyaa ho gayaa hai?

tum hee ko dil kaa raaj bataaye,
    tum hee se raaj chhupaaye
    humei kyaa ho gayaa hai?
    ...
    wahee jo taane aag lagaaye,
    un hee se aag buzaaye
    humei kyaa ho gayaa hai?

Why Heer Ranjha - well if you are a SRK fan, then think Aaja heeriye o ja ja Raajhna..Le ja Le ja soniye le ja le ja Dil le ja le ja ooooo ;)

Btw the way, sandy have u seen the picturisation of this song....there a skip and hop step that rajkumarar does, its hilarious!! I was thinking if Arnav had to do it...LMAO!!

There's another song from the movie which is not as popular but a very beautiful rendition by Lata Mangeshkar of Madan Mohan's evergreen composition, if u have time listen to it too..

Do dil toote, do dil haaren, duniyaa waalon sadake tumhaare

Dekhegee mukhadaa apanaa, ab se jawaanee dil ke daag mein
Barasegaa kaise saawan kaise padenge zoole baag mein
Bain karenge khwaab kunwaare, do dil toote ...

Main naa rahoongee lekin goonjengee aahen mere gaon mein
Ab na khilegee sarason, ab na lagegee mehndi paon mein
Ab na ugenge chand sitaaren, do dil toote ...

Pyaar tumhaara dekhaa, dekhaa tumhaara aankhen modana
Tod to daalaa dil ko, khel naheen hain dil kaa todana
Tadaponge tum bhee saath humaare, do dil toote ...

  31. girls I was just thinking...and after reading the heer-ranjha story in brief (because I didn't know it), I came up with this - what if this heer-ranjha act is for K's ultimate realisation of her feelings for A? My reasons for this thought :

    1. Heer is a rich, beautiful girl, while ranjha is poor.. with ArHi we have a role reversal..but the similarities are still there..

    2. In the original plot, heer appoints ranjha as a caretaker of the family's cattle..in IPK, we had khushi being appointed in their family too (well, not exactly by Arnav...but the similarity is there)..

    3. Heer eventually falls in love with Ranjha while he is employed at her place.. we had the same in IPK..

    4. Heer's family is against her marriage with Ranjha and she is slated to be married to someone else, because of which Ranjha is heartbroken .. A's marriage with La broke K's heart (even though she didn't realise that then...maybe, just maybe.. she will recall La's parting words to her? "ASR kuch nahi samajhte..lekin tum to samajhdaar ho na..")

    5. Ranjha leaves the house and becomes a yogi .. ok this is too dramatic to happen here.. but then K leaves the house after La too..

    6. Much later, Ranjha returns to her village and finally their parents agree to their marriage..but her evil uncle poisons her food because of which she dies..and Ranjha, unable to bear the sorrow again, east the same food and dies next to her.. we will have something different here though - Khushi returns to their place because of Payash wedding and A and K come closer because of that..A is about to propose her and his family members are also keen about their wedding...but just before he is about to say his feelings..he ends up hearing Shyam and misunderstands that Shyam and Khushi love each other.. he is heartbroken..

IF...only If they show K using her brains like she used to before, then she can figure out the coincidences here and maybe also figure out that she loves A...and why A has mentioned time and again that she hurt him... ofcourse she wouldn't figure out the Shyam thing straightaway...but if she is kind of living out his sorrow (be it through an act) ..then she might have a better idea of what is going on in his mind..and why he is so hurt.. then she might know where to focus..

on the other hand, if Arnav lives hers, then he should be able to figure out too...but that would end the MU and I don't think they will end it so soon..plus they will focus on one part of the story at a time..

    1. ok apparently its not the entire act! :P just the bit when on their marriage day, Heer's evil uncle poisons her food and she dies..and unable to tolerate the sorrow anymore, Ranjha too commits suicide next to her.. :) my next speculation I will write in today's episode post.. :)

mami and payal were looking cute...
Heer was laughing a lot; she was calling out to majnu and then ranjha, getting the stories all mixed up...maybe that was some offscreen element...not sure...BS was busy explaining some CID kind of story to SI....

The heer-ranjha act..i could not make anything of it...the drama per se on screen was hardly a few seconds...if this track is anything serious....it must be before or after the act.
In the middle of the act, i doubt they are going to show any parallels....Khushi was acting chirpy ( i dont know if it was an off screen moment) IF comments was it was a great scene etc...and the usual drooling etc but my sense was...aisa kya hua that they were awarded the trophy....just becos they are the leads?..nways, shouldn't be prejudiced before watching the actual scenes

  33. ...But why did she refuse the award? Is it because she did not want her story to end on a sad note with ODB ....or is this just another of their 'irritate each other' episodes....just wondering!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Watched the SBS/B seg think we might get this Heer Ranja thing by today or 2mrrow.
@Rekha yep Mami and payal were looking cute. but didn’t understand why they had to make mami fall? unless there is something for NQ to do and save the day, which will be against mami's view making her think she did it on purpose.

Nani again acting as cupid for Arhi. Why did she backed out at the last moment? not that i am against it. ODB is forced to act as Ranja. Hope this takes the story forward with building of trust as they started last week. Again with the spoilers that they will let out their feelings for each other is again how much worth at present is not known. May be just makes K to understand her feeling more ? Can’t analyse that part so will wait and watch.

@DN with K refusing the award? With the SBS/B seg I think the reason is different here. Its not "to irritate each other" defo ,because the Khushi I know will never take it to public with the family around.
Next it may be for the reason you mentioned 'she not wanting her story to end on a sad note" but that’s unlikely at this point because K is still ignorant to her feeling for A. The only reason I can think of at this point is about the giving Credit which A mentions. Since Bitwa is forced to do the act, all the credit goes to him for wining, and K which I understand will give the due credit to him. She will not accept with him saying that she did contribute into the wining, but it was A who came to act against his will and saved her day so all the credit should go to him. That's her way of getting back at Bitwa for not giving her credit and hurting her by saying that he did not want to give her credit. She will teach him that its isn't hard to give dues if you feel so. That will help to change ODB view point about K and may build a small brick to the trust.

I really hope it is the reason - I so don't want Tit for Tat here in public.

I think your explanation makes more sense !I really really really really hope that it is not tit for tat in public!

    2. these days, the SBS/SBB scenes show more than the actual episode.. so I guess there will be much unsaid when the episode airs.

aaru, i think your reason sounds plausible but a little too devious for ODG. .. also, if the names on the register said nani and ODG, then they cannot give the award to ODB and ODG, can they? she may have refused on technicality..

      Delete
    3. jaya,

i agree, it makes better sense for her to refuse the award on that basis...btw why are the organisers giving only her the award....if its a jodi competition and if its not meant for A, why is K not disqualified on that basis...

"hum bhi kya pooch rahein hain" o la la la....never knew the traffic policeman's words will find a echo

      Delete
    4. Jaya with emotions running high I doubt it will be names of register technicality. The reason I think it will be the “giving him credit” is that A does not give credit even in private, it’s the opposite is what K does she ackn. It’s public. Moreover she can't tell Nani that she is doing it for tit for tat.
The other reason she says that i can’t accept it with my husband is because the whole marriage is sham. And to her on personal level, they aren't husband and wife is truest sense. Hence against her morals/principles to accept for something which is not true? Again she can't give this reason either to Nani or publically on stage.
So her only reason could be giving him credit. She may give the actual reason to bitwa when his big ego is hurt, and lashes out again on her for giving him the credit and that too in public, that's when she might give the real reason of not being husband and wife exactly as he had deal. Again for me this reason of not being married in true sense will be steps backwards from their acceptance of their marriage in recent days.

  35. so recap of last week.. the kids fight. TQ overhears. asks nani. decision:honeymoon. next day, chaperoned honeymoon happens. kids fight again. then nok jhok. next day, wake up curled up on a couch. lost voice. bitiya impresses everyone on how well she understands boyo when he does not speak. and he gets to see her take on challenges even if she's scared.... public dealbreak. akash accepts her integrity.. nani accepts her devotion to arnav? ..family accepts that their relationship is straight out of a bollywood scene..bitwa mad that she gets credit- for his recovery(or something else)

payal winning her saas over.. shamu sniffing around jaydaad papers. TQ finding a mentos packet.. will she eat it?

now question is, will the story make any progress in the next week?
