Arshilicious ... Khushilicious ... Arnilicious episode ... LOVED the SADDA HAQ ... drunk or sober ..
Where has Khushi gone???

Khushi lives up to her name ... bringing happiness and joy into the lives of everyone around her ... with the help of some intoxicants! And Holi, the festival to welcome Spring, the start of a new year, new beginnings, does exactly that in the lives of the Raizadas and the Guptas.
Starts with Khushi distributing her bhaang laced thandayi to very willing recipients ... Buaji and Garima having a blast, Nani claims Nanji used to down five glasses, and happily accepts Khushi's challenge of two, Mamaji joins in, Mamiji is tricked into taking a glass, and the merriment starts.
For Anjali, only non-laced thandayi, Anjali accepts on the condition that Khushi will call her Di ...
SHIDDAT ALERT (there are going to be quite a few today :) ) ... and both girls hug tearfully ... the final acceptance of Khushi by Anjali, which means so much to Khushi, because she knows how important Anjali is for Arnav ...
RRR arrives to claim his thandayi, Khushi asks HP to give Jijaji a glass ... SHIDDAT ALERT =))
And she doesn't even give it to him herself ... a servant is good enough ...
RRR is angry ... he has to get her drunk and get out some secrets ... he offers his glass to Anjali unthinkingly, she declines, and he sweet-talks her ... how about some for Khushi? Anjali goes off to do the needful ...
Anjali cajoles, persuades and then finally tricks Khushi into downing a glass ... Anjali looked high enough on her happiness, she didn't need any stimulants :)
So one down, one to go ... Khushi is drunk, Arnav's turn ...
And the nautanki starts ... for once I didn't forward the Mami scenes - they were actually funny ... Payash lost in their 70'sji -ji style cootchie-cooing, completely unconcerned with villainous Mami hovering over their shoulder ... Khushi steps in ...
Hilarious dialogue ... I'm phati saree ... saree ... why are you calling me kameez? complaining petulantly ...
And Mami looks bewildered ... yes, why am I doing that? Did I make her better or worse?
And Khushi starts off with her 'dil ki baatein' ... Mami listening expectantly ... enjoying even in her drunken state, the praise she hears coming on her looks ... changing to indignation ... a rainbow?! That's what I look like?!
Found it very cute that even in drunken state, Khushi can't say anything really mean or nasty ...
These two are DAMN good actresses ... to pull off slapstick comedy with such ease =D> =D> =D>
Next on the list of Khushi's 'dil ki baatein' ... disclosing secrets about Jiji's lovelife ... Payal giggling all through was cute, Akash was struggling to maintain that silly smile ;)
Next on list of 'dil ki baaten' are Naniji and Anjali ... Nani of sterner stock than the youngsters, can handle her bhaang pretty well, just a few girlish giggles and silly smiles here and there show that she's drunk ...
Khushi tells Naniji she loves her even more than her own Nani ... because she can dance and play Holi ... Mama Mami arrive, both very happy ... Khushi says she has to say more ... EPIC ... she walks off, Nani and Anjali go 'huh? didn't she want to say something?' .. turns out Khushi was taking the long way round to come across to Anjali ... =)) ... and Anjali can't help laughing at the cutely drunk adorable girl ...
And then Khushi suddenly loses her smile ... 'I'm sorry, Di ... I never ever wanted to hurt you ... whatever happened, it wasn't my doing ...'
And RRR's ears perk up ... he goes all watchful and alert, this is what he wanted to hear ... the real reason (Opti, bang on!!!) ... Anjali is sober, listening, surprised at the sudden tears ... even Nani, Mama and Mami are listening in their inebriated state, startled by Khushi's sudden change of mood ...
'Arnavji ... he said that if I didn't marry him ...'
'Khushi!' In the nick of time ... Arnav ... angry, glaring at her, he knew she would keep quiet, but he hadn't bargained for her getting drunk ... ...and she stares at him, still tearful about how she hurt his family ...
'Don't you think you've had enough bhaang?'
Shyam curses in frustration ... as Khushi loses the plot of what she was saying promptly and changes track ...
'Bhaang? Yes, of course, you also have some, and say your dil ki baat ...' stumbling up to him with her precious tray of thandai glasses ... back to smiles ... Sanaya's expressions here were superb, the quicksilver changes from tearfulness to silly smiles ... and Nani was equally good, as she maintained the 'just slightly drunk but still sober enough to figure out something was going on' look ...
Mama Mami laugh happily, Arnav is having none of it ... dil ki baat is exactly what he doesn't want to say ...
'I don't drink bhaang ...' warning glare at Khushi to shut the hell up ... but she's too drunk ...
'You don't?' And then looking at him as though seeing him for the first time ... 'Naniji, he's the one ... who ... told me ...'
He steps in hastily again ... still in anger ... 'Khushi, don't lie ...' and Nani and Anjali wonder at the real menace in his tone ...
'Lies? I'm telling the truth, what he said when we were alone ...'
'Khushi, no one needs to know what we do when we're alone ...'
Nani and Anjali try to hide their smiles at that one ... Arnav sounded exactly like a worried husband, scared his biwi would give out embarrassing bedroom secrets ...
(Echo Shwetha's comment ... bey, kuch batane ko hota to bolti, na?)
'Accha ... par bhaang?' she tries again and he puts his finger on her lips to shut her up ...
Hayyeeeeee ... Sadda Haq .. and the way she looks at him with those big innocent doe-like eyes ... utterly butterly cute ... no wonder he's so crazy about her ... he can't even stay mad at her for long ...
'I don't drink bhaang ... and now ... you will keep quiet ...'
The tiniest of obedient nods as she continues to look at him innocently, and his smile has to show, as he takes her and her precious tray firmly away before she can say anything more ... the picture of a protective, firm hubby ... the R's laugh ... if Khushi is the only one who can handle Arnav when he's sober, he apparently is the only one who can handle her when she's drunk ... as long as he isn't.
Shyam lost in thought ... missed it this time, but there is something up for sure.
And Arnav bitwa is having more trouble than he anticipated with his wife ... she's stubborn at the best of times, in her inebriated state, she's worse than a tantrum throwing two year old.

No! No, no no ... today you have to have bhaang. Yes, yes, yes. Scuttles with the tray to the table of drinks ... catch me if you can ...
He catches up with her at the table ...
'Khushi, you've had enough, no more ... put down the glass.'
'If you want me to stop drinking ... you have to drink once.'
He takes the glass firmly away from her. 'No way.'
She promptly picks up another and he goes frantic ... 'Khushi, you're not to drink any more ... stop now.'
'Why? You want that I don't drink, you want that I don't talk ... what about what I want? Today either you drink, or I do.'
He steps forward to take the glass from her, she dodges neatly and runs to the other side ... and drinks, much to his worry and helpless fury ...
'Khushi, don't you dare!' Shouldn't have said the word 'dare' ... that's like a red rag to a bull for her ...
(SHIDDAT ALERT - we said that he would challenge her, well, she challenged him :) ) Finally has to give in ... 'You want me to drink?'
A happy vigorous nod ... a sweet smile ...
'Okay.' He picks up a glass from the innocuous drum and drinks ...'here you are.'
Not so fast ... she's not so drunk that she didn't see that one. 'You're cheating ... do it one more time.'
As he turns away in exasperation, she neatly switches glasses ...
Sanaya's expressions again here ... fabulous ... quickly changing glasses, then leaning on the pot before he turns around, and changing her expression from that victorious smile to a silly pout ...
He's a little suspicious, but gives in ... has he any choice? =))
And Khushi watches happily ... and so does Anjali ... happily and incredulously ... Chotey playing Holi, and drinking bhaang too?! She takes a quick picture =))
And intoxicated Khushi cracks up with the success of her plan ... 'I'm smarter than you ...' ... and as he figures out what just happened and stares at her incredulously - she tricked him? ... she giggles again ... 'cat got your tongue? Okay, I'll say it for you ... what the, what the, what the, what the ...' ... and she dances away singing out what the to the power of infinity .. again, fabulously done!!!
Can I mention how MUCH I loved the scenes with drunk Khushi and sober Arnav ... he was such a fabulous hubby, alternately scolding, worried, all his attention on his biwi and how to keep her out of trouble ... and never did that bitterness or cold anger surface ...it was just his need to take care of her, look out for her, keep her under control and out of trouble ... and Khushi was the adorable young wife, able to let her hair down and just be her crazy self, knowing he was there looking out for her ...
And of course he has to follow her ... she gives him no choice, not that he wants any.
Sanaya was so utterly fantastic in these scenes ... she really is the best drunk act ever =D>
And as the dhol valas start up, an intoxicated Khushi loses herself in the beat and dancing to her heart's content ... finally happy again, back in her family's hearts ... and all the family joins in the dancing ... honestly can't pick my favourites - Mamaji with Mami's goggles, mamiji, Payash, Buaji, Garima ...
and an intoxicated Arnav loses himself in his adorable beautiful wife ... and shares his feelings for the first time with the two most important women in his life ... about the one woman who's entered his heart ... 'she's beautiful ... crazy but cute ... her hair ... her eyes ... her smile ...'
And as Nani and Anjali listen wonderingly and happily, he smiles again, his eyes never leaving her, he blushes (yes, he did!) ... and makes his way forward purposefully to his wife ... his girl ... tossing off another glass of bhang on the way and throwing the glass aside ... watched by a gratefully happy Anjali and a giggly Nani - how happy they both are to finally see him happy, smiling ... living life again ... he moves forward to the girl who brought him back to life ... the girl who now is his life ...
And Khushi bhaang ka nasha evaporates in the far deeper nasha of his eyes as he reaches her ... holds her hand and pulls her close to him ... because he can, because she's his ...and again they're lost in each others' eyes ... but for the first time, he's not hiding his feelings ... and he spins her around to dance again ... because that's what he loves about her ... her joy for life ...
The last part ... the families dance ... all happiness and joy, the sadness and tension of the last few weeks (in IPK Narnialand) forgotten ... Arnav pulls Nani and Anjali to dance as well ... and the two family hugs were sweet ...
The Anjali Arnav hug was ultra - sweet ... the brother sister really love each other so much and they both hated the misunderstandings and distance that had crept in between them ... all wiped out in the last heartfelt hug ... beautifully done ...
But even though he's with his sister, Arnav doesn't lose sight of Khushi ... any other guy around her will not be tolerated ... not even a completely harmless one ... she is all innocence and light ... he is her protector ... always ... 'don't you dare touch my wife ...'
Meri biwi ...among all the laughing dancing family members (Mami and Garima tug of war with pickkari, Buaji's playing with her plait ... loved all the little touches) ...
And she disappears ... where has she gone?
Quick thoughts ...
Shyam overheard Anjali tell Nani, Arnav says he does everything for my happiness, but look at him now ... Will he realize what Khushi means for Arnav and make another move?
He also knows that there was a reason behind the sudden marriage ... well, duh ... Shyam is the only one who should understand the full motive now ... what doesn't he know? That Arnav forced Khushi using Payal. And that both haven't confessed their feelings to each other. And about the 6 month contract ... All facts he could use to create trouble.
Anjali and Nani both know now that Arnav is crazy about Khushi ... Anjali even has proof. And she is the only one who was sober all through ... she and Shyam.
Arnav was sober when Khushi apologised to Anjali and said she never wanted to hurt her ... but did he hear that bit?

Epi starts with a bit of filler with Khushi distributing Her Bhaang to everyone and
everyone enjoying themselves.

Now Anjali is Di and Khushi is either Khushi or Bhabhi........CHECK
Khushi challenging more like threatening Arnav, Bhaan piyo warna I will have some

3 BEST MOMENTS OF THE DAY:
Arnav and Anjali's emotional Hug.........My heart went for these two, maybe after 15
years they both have experience PURE JOY, HAPPINESS, the feeling of being part of a
family and ofcourse Arnav participating in all of it, smiling, laughing, dancing, being
happy, awwwwwwwwwwww
Arnav and Khushi - The way they looked at each other, Hayeeeeeeeeeeeeee...Again an
emotional moment cos both experiencing each other's love in their Bhaang state,
where dil ki baat comes out, Arnav is sooooooooooooooo madly in love with her and
Khushi is slowly and steadily realizing it.
Arnav talking about Khushi to Nani and Anjali, 2 women he loves and respects the most
and now introducing them to the third woman he truly deeply madly loves.
If at all there was any doubt in anyone's mind, Arnav describing khushi and implying

But she continues and bitwa just turns around to face ODG and say Shut up Khushi, and ODG retorting back, and goes back to sleep. then after few seconds jolts to understand she is sleeping besides him and Bitwa comes to his senses and says WT!!!

DeleteOn bhaang, the stories are quite crazy....some people keep crying, singing, laughing for hours together.....basically its like u have a tendency to do an activity over and over again. Many times people don't remember a thing when they are sober!!
there will not be much authenticity to these scenes in television...case in point...khushi alternating between awareness and being tipsy....u can cut some slack in such scenes..

Ok - things that worked for me:
- Anjali Arnav Hug - ssssoo sweet -heartfelt - like he was saying sorry (in his own way) for troubling his sister and she forgiving him - she really is a good elder sister!
- ODB pulling ODG closer - for no reason except that he wanted to :D - she was not falling/fainting/crashing into anything - she did not need him to protect her - he just wanted her close - no other reason required - total Haq!- aaww - *smiling like an idiot!!*
- also finger on her lips, group family hug (mami very much a part of it) and many more such bits
What did not work (am putting on virtual armor coz i know i will be slaughtered for the following)
- liked that he stood with his arms around the two imp ladies in his life and discussed the third! - but why why could they have not made this better - why did he talk only about her looks, that was sweet, yes, but.. Now hear me out - replace ODB with creepy lecherous TF (borrowing Dettol from the blog) - and he would have said the same things!!! ODB should have said a bit about ODG, the real girl - how caring she is, how ready to help, how willing to take on burdens way bigger than her shoulders can support, how willing to do anything for the family etc etc. I know he is crazy about her and so should have given reasons beyond her looks.
- Goofy ASR - does not work for me - i loved the smile he gave when he saw his wife making bhang - but the expression today during the nani /anjali scene - eyes all goofy - nah! (i know he is supposed to be drunk - but still)
- the fact that all are so drunk! i know its a fictitious story - but isn't it dangerous that all are totally high, incapable of evening walking straight - what if something happens to ODG or even Anjali? (and i dont blame ODB here at all - he did not want to get drunk - i only think the CVs should have done a castle - on him - meaning he should have acted drunk and heard and REMEMBERED all that ODG says!)
Have a stupidly looong day - will check blog tonight :D
oh and how could i forget - the best part - 'call me DI!' and ODG using her brains and calling TF "JIJAJI!!!!" :D - perfect, loved it!!!!

Now that you mention it ... I have to agree, I do wish he'd also said something apart from her looks ... about her spirit, the sheer life in her ... that she didn't give up on winning the families over ... which actually meant a lot to him as well ... because of her efforts, he's made up with his Di, who is so important to him.
And drunk Arnav was okay-ish for me ... again agree, I felt the women and mamaji were better drunks ... even Payal was okay with her silly giggles ... Akash and Barun were just average. Although I loved the way he walked so purposefully towards Khushi as she was dancing ...
Hehe ... Holi is a time when everyone does get high ... I guess this is supposed to be the RM garden itself, they haven't gone anywhere, so they can just stumble back home. I just wish RRR had gotten drunk as well ... it's a little dangerous that he and Anjali are the only two who are sober. We've had such feel-good episodes this week, that it has to be leading to a dhamaka!
Another thought - ODG just had one glass, and by the end she already seemed to be recovering from her nasha - she was more affected by Arnav's eyes than the bhaang ;) ... so will she remember and he not? *head desk* I really don't want that to happen ...

1. Anji asking ODG call her DI and ODG calling TF JIJAJI, *head desk* Bitwa wasn’t there to hear it. But the Shiddat of ODG call RRR JIJAJI on the dining table and Bitwa going What the isn’t far off.
2. MB- OBG kameez –rainbow – cracked me up completely.
3. Khushi telling her Dil ki baat was a close call and loved the way Bitwa shuts her off.” Finger on the lips and making it lovey dovey by saying others don’t need to know what we do alone” Hayeeeeee!! Bitiya running away ,did I hear bitwa asking her to be careful? Few miles redeemed from RTR.
4.ODG challenging ODB on bhang. Wow!!! Best was telling him you think you’re smart but am smarter! So you keep saying WT,WT, WT, WT. Did I see a smile on bitwa face there? Saying pagal hayeeeeee!!
5.Anjali and Nani are astonished when an inebriated Arnav praises Khushi's beauty and dances with her. Hayeee!!
6.The FB Hayeee!!! All their most intimate moments.
7.Arnav dancing and TQ and Bitwa hug beautiful.
8.Arnav gets possessive for Khushi at the party. Saada Haq!!

DeleteThis feeling that goofiness does not become Arnav is more of a characterisation thing...i feel the best drunk act will not pass muster becos of how Arnav has always been potrayed..But i get what u say...
I felt Barun did a very decent job, that mushiness may not have worked for us in Arnav's sober state...of course we will have to see.
the walk, staggering.....at the same purposeful...the eyes kind of having that goofy look while praising her was done well...not overdone.....
As far as praise, I think it might have looked forced if it was anything else..here she was dancing...looking cute....so he stated the obvious...Yes...Physical attributes only but I am willing to wait for Arnav to say the rest when he is sober....
so, back to the living.

so many scenes were edited out of today's episode.. I wanted to hear firsthand how he explained to Di. and the hug that followed.. (melt) and that bit when he danced with bitiya...and pulled his girls to dance with her.. i have a feeling that they all were shot.. then edited out. where can we get hold of a "making of Arhi holi" DVD???
loved the mami-khushi scene.. first honest laughter after NK left..
my heart stopped when bitwa went to dance with her. but then, so did hers.. she was shell-shocked! he pulled her close... then twirled her away to dance... with a smile..and her answering smile.. wow. dazzling. I wanted a full hug there.. at least to mark the occasion when they shared a smile for the first time with no inhibitions, no second-guessing, pure love..a hug would have been completely appropriate. so, i have high hopes for the next episode. :D
the hugs all around.. all looked so heartfelt! brilliant actors all of them...
and the dances ...loved mamaji's dance. and mami's guitar...wah! the gupta sisters cut a pretty sight! and their amma buaji are no less!
why was there a family dance circle and why the boys suddenly forgot their new wifeys? and anjali totally forgot about her patidev? I wanted arnav to dance the bhangda around khushi..
Sarun were brilliant, as usual, but somewhere, ASR transformed into Shravan. cannot say i loved it. did not. yes, he is trying to portray his long lost childhood, but could have been better played. maybe thats why they had to edit out so many scenes.. to get shravan off the screen.
all in all, very pretty episode.full on eye candy. from the blinding happiness that is khushi to the love that was poured on screen today... 10/10
Bura na maano holi hai...!! and the poor guy still gets shoved off...I think if he hadn't realised Khushi was AWOL we might have seen a another ...'tumhe toh adhe time pata bhi nahi hota ki tumhare saath kya ho raha hai!' scene...

Payalji and Aakashji...hope the suffixes are temporary...(when I was thinking about holi and bhaang...I was kind of hoping they'd do a scene where Paayal calls out Aaaaaakash- in the dil chata hai style and Akash comes running...but I liked what they did too...they should have put flowers in their hands and wiggled them around while they psuedo kissed...hehehe would have completed the 70's theme.)

4. Total haq with which he said- Enough- you're not going to have anymore.(not that it worked but loved the annoyed concern-such a guy thing to say- No you're not having anymore you cant handle it!)
5. How cute was Khushi in the scene where she tricks him into having bhaang...leaning against the matka..threatening to have more...hehehe-too cute!
6. You think you're really smart na? well darling you've met your match cuz I'm smarter than you...nyahahaha
7. As stated earlier -What the! What the! What the!...ROFL...(I swear Khushi's picking up ASR's bad habits-she says WT as much as he does...:-p)

ReplyDeleteWe were discussing the age difference a few days ago ... today I felt it was really brought out well in the scenes with drunk Khushi and sober Arnav ... she is crazy and childish at most times, yet with this inner maturity and unerring sense of what is right and wrong ... he is the sensible, mature protective one, yet he needs her to sambhalo him and calm him down when he loses his cool, because of the two, he is actually the more volatile and hot-headed one, and he is the one who tends to react first and think later ...
Her dil ki baat when she was drunk ... to explain to the families ... because she knows that that he and she did, hurt the families the most ... his dil ki baat, only stuck on Khushi ... she is his focus, because she will take care of the rest, as long as he can take care of her ... and today, because of her and her efforts, he was accepted wholeheartedly back into the folds of his family as well ... his Nani and sister, the two people who mean the most to him (Akash was always the neutral observer). And how much that meant to him, we saw in that hug with Anjali ... the separation was painful for both brother and sister, because they do share that very special bond ...
And can I add, I was very happy that even in the middle of that bro-sis hug, Arnav was still looking out for Khushi ... although I love that bro-sis bond, I did feel that Khushi needs someone who will love HER the most, not as a second, even if to his own sister ... and look out for her always ... so I loved the way they showed that both bonds are so important to Arnav ... one ties him to his past and his roots, and the other allows him to dream of a better and brighter future, where he will be free to love again ...
The part where he danced with Khushi was so short ... grrr ... edited out? Why????
I haven't seen Barun as Shravan at all ... the dance was not I would have expected of ASR, even a drunk ASR, but it was a spontaneous thing which I could expect from a younger carefree Arnav ... so I was okay with that.
Having said that, I would again praise Sanaya wholeheartedly ... there is absolutely NO resemblance between Gunjan and Khushi ... even in the talli scenes ... she did drunk Khushi COMPLETELY differently from drunk Gunjan, so kudos to her again ...
Have to add ... mamiji's guitar act, mamaji's dance, the payal-Khushi dance, Garima-Buaji combo - all were flawless and perfectly done ... the supporting cast is so damn good here!

DeleteI absolutely agree the dance was exactly that...a spontaneous outpouring from ODB..
My theory on why it was kept short...for this very reason...to show that it is not inconsistent with A's character...CVs would have run the risk of viewer's incredulity with more frames of A's dancing, it may also be one of the reasons why the families were kept separate...bringing them together for a frame would not have been bad but i guess it was intended to show that some distance does exist...In a way, can't imagine Arnav asking G & B to part of this ring.
I have not seen Barun as Shravan and missed seeing SI as Gunjan drunk...of the little i watched MJHT...But i have no doubt in my mind that SI has done perfect justice to both parts...here the madness of Khushi shining through and in MJHT, I suppose, the shedding of inhibitions of Gunjan. SI's masterclass act as always...
Barun looked fine to me as a drunk Arnav....not too drunk yet tipsy enuf to let his tongue run a bit and him shake a leg...with people he loves...totally in character....

The part at 7.00 with the drunk Gunjan came in the promo for 2-3 secs, along with other scenes - there were six drunk people at the party, and from the promo, the only person we guessed was drunk was Gunjan ... from those 2-3 seconds. I kid you not.

Bilkul Dil Kholkay as Gunjan or Khushi. DAm u can see how much she has grown as an actor. And today Dia I really felt the difference, how underused she was in MJHT. But as they say everything happens for the best. Happy she accepted IPK. And also was just going thru barun's BHPH one ssbs seg, Dam you can see the difference there too. I dont know if i should say this or not, Sans does bring the best in her co-stars. Even then with Mohit and Even now with Barun.

And honestly, how underused and underestimated she was in MJHT, you can see that now, when we get to see her in almost the entire episode of IPKKND these days ... that itself is such a pleasure! She really carries the show on her shoulders -
DeleteAnd I also do feel the same - she tends to brings out the best in her costars ... she basically taught Mohit the ABC of acting, which he openly acknowledges, and Barun also said in one iv that she keeps coming up with suggestions ... having a good costar also means you can concentrate on your own work, so both she and Barun benefit.
Though I would definitely say Barun has improved more over the eight months of IPKKND, he was stiff to start with, and took time to settle into the role ... it's the more difficult one also ... Sanaya started off beautifully from the beginning itself, and she has just gone from strength to strength - chiefly I think she has picked up in her Hindi, but also she is totally Khushi now, no trace of Gunjan at all.

Okay .. hello again everybody, in case ppl missed my member's intro post! :) I am glad to say that I am FINALLY in the loop for discussion.. :D the last 3 days were horrible wrt my sleep and work.. :P I have literally watched 5-6 months worth of episodes and/or scenes.. :D I was sooo addicted, I couldn't shut up until I watched them all..because this is, yet again another love story that is going to make me crazy!!! :))) ABSOLUTELY breath-taking...each and every scene left me waiting for more...they lost a bit of the plot in b/w fr about 1-2 weeks I guess, that's when I skipped the epis..but overall, totally and irrevocably in love with khuish-arnav love story!! Fabulously done!!! Really, hats-off CVs!! :)
ReplyDeleteKhushi toh I am totally in love with...but I would think it is really difficult to write and execute a complex character such as Arnav..because even though u have to make him grey, u still have to put in that "some x factor" which doesn't turn him completely dark! And there are sooo many of those in him...and Barun is fantabulous in potraying them!! :) But for me, that X factor that stands out is the fact that he is sooo selfless in love and about the people he loves and cares about! Be that khushi, nani, anjali, akash.. or his precious plants! Heck, his break-up with Lavanya was also sooo amazingly done, inspite of the fact that she didn't really mean THAT much to him..!
I have sooo much to say about them and him...but I will do that on individual episode posts by diya.. right now, just talking about yesterday's epi.. WOW.. Sanaya stole the show again...diya, remember the drunk act in the party in MJHT?? :D we were all sooooo in love with her..and she has outdone that one yesterday! Her "what-the..what-the.." were utterly adorable!! :) I don't know why..but I somehow can relate to khushi in more ways than one.. it had happened to Gunjan too..but that was at a very minimal level.. here, there are sooo many aspects about her and me that are common that there have been sooo many occasions when her reaction to Arnav's statements or any incidences were similar to mine while watching the scenes! :P I don't know...I guess its mainly about Sanaya..! :)
Anyway, since u have said pretty much of what I felt while watching the episode, I don't need to say much.. :) I will come back to this post when I have commented on the previous episodes.. :)
but just to conclude..I am SOOO SOOOO SOOOOO GLAD for Sanaya.. :)))) all her struggles, hard work..has paid off.. she has finally a show that's going to challenge her, make her happy..and reward her talent.. :) :) its not often that actors get to do that and I am soooo happy for her!!!! And their chemistry is sooooooo dreamyyy... no other words for it!! And I am glad people are accepting them tooo..because usually with a popular couple, ppl are hesitant to accept when either of the partners gets paired up with somebody else.. but Sanaya-Barun share such an intense chemistry.. especially the eyes and the emotions that both bring to it..its amazing!! :)
btw @ diya : Is sona watching the show?? She would love it ... :)

DeleteGood, good ... late lateef, finally started watching IPK ... if you spent the last three days catching up with eight months of episodes, God help you!!! :)))
Aaru, Rekha and I were discussing Gunjan's drunk act and comparing it to this one ... for one, she got so much more screen space here ... remember how hopping mad we were that Gunjan and SG got so little time in that ME? And here she is the shining star ... I am SOOOOOOO proud of my girl ... she has made it and how!!! Never thought I would like any chemistry better than SG, but yes, I freely admit - Arhi are better ... well, they're very different ... and it's a far more mature and intense chemistry, it just sets the screens on fire!
Sona started watching it .. she didn't like it ... I think she's more loyal to Mohit than she realized ;) ... me, I was San fan through and through, I would sit through crap for Sanaya ... Sona switched to the Behna show, but that is so crappy I don't know if she is still watching it!
I have ten minutes for the show to air ... no updates yet, am waiting ... usually someone posts a comment before I can make the episode post, but there is silence today! Hope it was good :) am waiting :)))

Barun and Sanaya were top-notch..their expressions, the voice modulation sealed it for me today...the "two heartbeats now one heartbeat" may have been spoken by many lovers but it is now patented by ArHI just for the way they said it!!

Dont know to be sad that Bitwa didnt get to see the TF confornting ODG or be happy that CV's didnt give more MU's.
