So the return of the office set meant the return of the 'get down and dirty to win at all costs' ASR ...and he succeeds - between manipulation, setting the scene, half-truths, half-lies ... and of course, Khushi's Achilles heel ...
He wants her back at RM, and he doesn't care how he does it ... hopefully after she's back, he'll start thinking about RRR ... am not giving up hope yet!
SN1 - Could he start using his brain to figure out RRR rather than only to strike back at Khushi?
SN2 - Is this a reprise of the office track, and will it end up the same way, with Arnav endangering Khushi, this time maybe through RR doing something ... before Arnav recovers his dimaag and starts acting on the real perpetrator? Or was this just a filler before Holi, and we will get to see what happens in the promo - Khushi disclosing her feelings, and that lights Arnav's dimaag ki batti ... or rather, redirects the beam in the correct direction ...
Will update more tonight if I can, otherwise tomorrow when I reach home ... let the discussions start :)

On rethinking the episode through, a few more points strike me. So first, a very quick recap :
Khushi happily returns home to GH, and Buaji Garima already resigned to her tapkoing back ... :))
Khushi starts getting worried about her shatir hubby ... hullo, I thought she had made up with DM, is she still mad at her? :)) But anyway, Khushi worried about her hubby, she knows him well, she knows he won't take her challenge lying down, and she's expecting a move from him. Sure enough, he obliges - wedding photographs for Buaji and divorce notice of Akash and Payal for Khushi ...
And Arnav calls and reminds her of the times he did what he promised ... good and bad ... And he will do the same now, unless she does what he wants ... And he wants her back home pronto.
Single minded at the moment ... Arnav Singh Raizada has one and only one goal at the moment - he wants Khushi back home. And for that his dimaag has suddenly woken up. So he pre-empts her every move.
He knows she will try to speak to Akash - he sets up the meeting to look like what he wants it to look like, and includes himself in the picture, to make sure Khushi gets only the information he wants her to get, and no more.
And Khushi reaches to meet Akash only to find a very confident Arnav also there, and Akash signing legal papers ... on Arnav's say so ... Arnav carefully butts into the conversation every time Akash looks like he might give the game away ... speaks about deals and profit loss vs emotions, and tells Akash mildly that he and Khushi can discuss whatever they need to at home ... because Khushi will be back home soon. And gets rid of Akash quickly and smoothly.
And then he tells Khushi she's not taking the challenge seriously ... meaning that he is ... he's expending all his energy and effort into getting her back home. Priority number one, two, three ... all the way up to ten. RRR doesn't figure at all here for the moment. Neither does Di, I think - it's all about Khushi. He wants her back home. And funnily, although he talks about deals, profit loss, he's not playing that with her - he's playing with what he knows works for her - emotions.
His dimaag really needs to start working a little bit more ... emotions and relationships are all-important to her, Mr Arnav Singh Raizada ... all relationships, especially the one she considers sacred - marriage. Be it her own, or her sister's ... or his sister's ...
But he hasn't reached that point yet - he's only occupied with getting his firebrand biwi under control and back home ... baaki baad ki baad mein sochenge.
So Khushi is check-mated on this one ... she tries to call Akash, Arnav has swopped phones ... and he's back ... why didn't Khushi call his number and speak to Akash pronto? Before Arnav could tell Akash to switch his phone off, and ensure Khushi couldn't speak to Akash?
But the last exchange ... Arnav likes challenging Khushi ... he enjoys playing mind games with her, she is a worthy opponent ... and Reptilewa at the moment, doesn't seem to be doing much, except for twitching like a ferret and babysitting his wife (as Gargi so eloquently put it ... that was a fab one, Gargs =)) )
But the main point is simple - he wants her back at RM ... and he will do anything to achieve that.
And after Khushi's conversation with Payal, she does just that - go back home. Just in time.
Nani-Anjali-Mami ... some tu tu main main - will the saas bahu saga wind down? (Saw this after a very sweet SGP scene between senior MIL and DIL - what a contrast! Oh well, as long the comedy is kept to Mami et al, I don't mind, don't want it extending to the leads). And more Mami-Payal, where I liked Mami's one liner about paani ki tanki =)) ... they are keeping the saas-bahu saga pretty comical, that's the only saving grace, although it's getting tiresome ... I think Mami would actually respect Payal a little more if Payal developed a backbone ... and why isn't Shyam getting more screenspace? Isn't he well now?
Thoughts -
Khushi called Arnav's bluff about Payal - we thought she would, we wanted her to.
But Arnav has to get her back to RM for the games to continue, to keep her under his eye - if she's not there, she can meet RRR anywhere outside RM ... and keeping her there also keeps RRR under check. So his single-mindedness about getting her back make sense ... he played dirty ... as usual.
He turned the tables on her, and bluffed her back ... now Khushi has to stay put at RM, because she thinks the divorce papers are ready to be pulled out at any point ... but she won't let her investigation rest either ...
Asking Arnav for answers hasn't done the trick ... she anyway needs to get back to RM to figure out the truth for herself, so sooner or later she would have had to eat humble pie to get back. Again, we predicted that Arnav would manage to get her back ... we predicted he would use TQ, we predicted he would make Khushi think he was making good on his divorce threat, but we thought it would be by sending Payal physically to GH. He went one better ... he made sure that not only did Khushi come back today, but she also stays put for the next some time ...
Analysing it this way makes the episode seem better ... and make some sense. Although I do hope that getting Khushi back to RM wasn't only about keeping her under his eyes, it was also about Arnav wanting her back ... full stop. And devoting all his energies and thinking powers to achieving that ... acknowledging that she is a worthy opponent and he actually had to think, to plot, to plan, to get her back.
And now that she is back, can we please see some more of his mixed emotions and turmoil, and also some suspicion regarding the truth of what Shyam said about Khushi's feelings? And can Arnav start training some of that famous 'dimaag power' on the actual villain?

I thought she would change into one of her old suits.. see, she got a new salwar suit today! and his beard grew so long in an afternoon :)
even in narnia, time is inconsistent.. it jumps from 5:15 to 5:50 in 2 minutes...
it was a filler episode, but I thank DM that the whole thing ended in one epi.. it would have broken my heart to endure such a predictable track dragged over two or three days.

lotsa bloopers in this epi. is the continuity manager on vacation?
Jaya bloopers are trait of IPKKND (though I don't understand what's the fuss about swimming pool architecture @RH, they have always shown 2 pools, 1 general (downstairs beside the Hall) and 1 Arnav's)....... its just that we have more space to focus on it now with this stupid tortoise track !!hhmmmm

Best poolside Arhi moments...(Just a feel good list)
1. The Diwali lights 'Unraveling' (totally suggestive...so ranks above the almost kiss and the actual kiss for me;-))
2. The Diwali night kiss - that wasn't - Just worked.
3. The you can't do everything I do-oh but please please do try- kiss.
4. The Apology. Hers not his- woh orange juice nahi mila na iss liye...crazy Khushi apologizing after she burns Arnav and a plethora of other things...and not accepting the tissues.
5. The what did your fiance do- I will crush him if he's hurt you- and the silent tears -I can't tell you but I still need your shoulder to cry on- scene. (I want Arnav to recall this one very clearly when he finds out Khushi was engaged to Shyaam)
And soon we can add holi to it too!!:-)

DeleteOne thing which was not clear to me was when Arnav said the phones were exchanged, why did Khushi not immediately call Akash on Arnav's phone, i thot that was a dead giveaway by the "shatir dimaag" ASR...my 12 year daughter sitting next to me said...oh now she can call Arnav's phone and confirm...I thot that would be a twist!! Then nothing happens....phew!!what a waste of an idea, i thot..

DeleteExactly, persons not following the serial being able to point out bloopers in a random watch..to me thats poor execution, i wonder what was the need of the dialogue...to let the audience know that the phones have been exchanged...how innovative was that that they missed the next trick in it??
DeleteAnyways, as u said, glad the drama did not kick for long...I don't know what will get Khushi to soften now....its almost a point of no return...thankfully, its their love story and the good part about a love story is there are really no reasons why a person loves another...so some hope there!!

no worries these are filler episodes to get back to the main track which was:
Delete1. Arnav hurt but still loves Khushi even after her betrayal (love and attraction which will be again reissued in Holi episodes)
2. Khushi hurt by Arnav, the way he married her ....but still can't really hate him cause deep down she love him. HELPLESS for payal for anjali and above all for the MAN HIMSELF (di uski dunya hai). Wonders and tries to find the reason behind all these !!!
3. Wounded RRR waiting for his chance to even up ASR.
Rekha and Sama, You know why I didn't like this epi apart from the bloopers and the ASR is being ASR to the wrong person, the sheer dumbness of the characters.

He perceives Khushi as an extension of his own self where in he would do anything for his own while not really caring for the others. He looks at Payal as Akash's wife for all practical purposes and not Khushi's sister. That thought is only when he needs to manipulate her.

On the Payash wedding day, Arnav said Akash did not do jaimala or take pheras till Arnav was there and that is what Khushi remembers. Also when Arnav said no sangeet, Akash had supported him over all others.
To think, you need space - for these 2 since the wedding it has been one drama after another. They are in damage control reactive mode.
In a way am glad, ASR is back at office. He will get the breathing space he needs away from family and Khushi's incessant Qs. Similarly when he is away Khushi can sit in their room / ppolside and rumintae without constantly thinking of challenging him.
For now, my biggest wish is for a HMC act in front of RRR initiated by Khushi. That will add some much needed fuel to this fire. Also, next time Anjali slips or is about to slip or trips and her brace come off, Khushi is around to help and iss een by all family members as caring for Anjali. Arnav arrives late and hears from nani on how Khushi helped. Better yet hope Arnav and RRR were having a tiff when this happened.
Ya these two need a bit of time away from each other even if it is for a few hours. I am waiting for HMC act to start now yaar.
DeleteDid you notice one thing, since he is now in ASR mode he is all suited up, when he is Arnav he is minus the Suit. Have to give it to the CVs nice touch. We saw it during Diwali, Nanital too.
Sandy, I agree with you about why the two are not thinking about the others' viewpoints ... they have seen selective scenes, and not the whole truth ... and they have had no time to sit and introspect. Which is why, now I'm hopeful, after the Holi break, things might start to move.
DeleteWe need RRR-Arnav-Khushi in the same frame so that they can observe each other's reactions ... then only will things move forward. Now with Khushi back permanently at RM, and her questioning wings clipped for the moment, maybe her observation powers will increase, and so will Arnav's ... they both need to stop fighting each other and concentrate on the common enemy!

SN: The last time when Khushi left and came back in anger, it was the Arnav-Khushi-La triangle. It was only once she was spending all that time at home, did she notics small things about Arnav. Time for that to happen again.
SN: are diabetics allowed to drink bhaang / thandaai. maybe Khushi hijacks his glass saying he is not allowed and downs it herself better yet from the hands of the RRR
Not only is ASR always suited up (and Arnav is in comparative casuals) - ASR is always in dark shirts! and Arnav in white ones :D

For the lawyer, I am hoping the papers that are being signed by Akash are nothing but a revised will of some sorts which effectively ensures, If something should happen to Arnav or Anjali, Akash and Payal inherit everything and Snakewa does not get a single paisa.
Reason: Shyam wants Anjali & Arnav out of the equation for khushi. Snakewa will never consider Akash as a threat of some sort. So by this will, he makes sure, the rest of the family is safe and financially sound.
Why not Khushi, cos right now he is not sure about Khushi and Akash is the next in line and worse come worse, He knows Akash and Payal will take care of Khushi.
Or
It could be some sort of revised partnership agreement where Anjali (it was mentioned somewhere she is equal or lesser partner in AR enterprises) is booted out and Akash is brought in.
I am sure whatever the papers, Arnav would have told Akash and Payal not to mention anything to Khushi lest she get worried or something.
I would be super duper furious, if Arnav Singh Raizada is not shrewd enough to make sure Shyam does not get a paisa. I would hate if in true BT style, Snakewa comes and overtakes the Raizada wealth.
And hated the fact that Khushi fell straight into his trap. He knew she will never be even able to utter the word Divorce and would aim for Feelings etc...
Khushi fool you once shame on him, fool you twice Shame on you. Sorry don't mean to be harsh, she of people should know that she is dealing with ASR of the old and not her Arnavji.
Having said that, there is no excuse for what Arnav today....IDIOTTTTTTTTTT.....Why doesn't he think even for a moment if a girl can go any length for her sister, she would never ever hurt someone else's sister.

More than anything I hope they actually bother to tell us what the papers are about Shweths...the way the CV's have been functioning lately I wouldn't be surprised if they just called them 'some other office related documents' and dismissed the whole thing. Please give us a sound sensible explanation-don't waste this opportunity to bring in the money and power aspect that Arnav should use in his war against Shyaam. Don't gloss over such stuff and give us full mahabharat on the patila of kheer!!

Yet to see the epi. But the pace this week has been slow. Now that they wrap up re-entry of NK, SPA shoots, SPA performances, Abhaas back in heath, I hope this changes. They usually hit the promo scenes 3/4 days from day of telecast. this time it took them a whole week.
Its been 2 weeks since the SR that never happened and almost a month since the MU started. Please CVs let the real games begin

In one way todays episode was necessary so as to not compromise Khushi or Arnav's character- she needed to call his bluff. He needed to have a plan in place to make sure she doesn't keep calling his bluff and stays put in RM. Now we've established that Khushi isn't just densely gong to accept her circumstances and that Arnav is in control and able to make her stay.

She also needs a lesson in what she sees need not be what she thinks is happening (recall that limbu tying scene whr she thot ASR was doing voodoo on her..sheeesh..))ofc the same needs to apply to bitwa too)
The messages needed to be established. We could have done these without some of the cliched tactics.
And I hope now that the famed ASR dimaag has started to function, it continues functioning on more productive channels. We need a Khushi - RRR scene at home that Arnav witnesses and gets confused. Last time they heard the door and the message got transmitted all wrong.

Okay as resident fashion obsessed person can I just say I liked khushi in her mehndi style suit. Really liked that she was wearing just her mangal sutra and tiny little red sindoor ka tikka. It was very becoming.

The time on the clock as pointed out above...the sheer obviousness of the solution-call on Arnav's phone-okay at least they show Arnav telling Akash to switch it off...
I liked that they showed Arnav very much on the ball...cutting off Akash just in time, manipulating the scene, gauging correctly that Khushi would go running to Akash..I mean not exactly MENSA level IQ required but still at least they showed that he has some part of his dimaag on. And his image is ruthless business tycoon who will do whatever it takes to win. Its nice when its reinforced.
I also felt it reflected Khushi's naivety properly. She's tough and can withstand a lot but she's naive and definitely not street smart, glad they reinforced that too.
I'm getting quite tired of the Payal Waterworks & Co. The Mami-Payal scenes are just not working for me...the only saving grace are some of mami's more random and funny comments.
Also I'm so glad that they covered most of this track in today's episode and can wind down the ASR vs. KKGSR . They can wind it up tomorrow and get started with holi track.

Colors could be better - so far the biscuit and pink one she wore on mehndi has been the best. I hope we see her in more suits than saris, though ...
I never notice Arnav's suits ;) but I do notice his waistcoats ... and they're usually too short! I like the teal green shirt he wore yesterday ... did his suit today have a strange satin lining on the edge???!!
I agree Shweths the suit needed to be better fitted..but I like the Anarkali style on her in general (especially as opposed to her old supr tight chamkilli suits)

I like Arnav's grey suit - not the one with the black satin lining the other one. I also like his plain classic black suit...the shirts...hai bhagwan...the teal one is nice but again wish fabric wasn't shiny satin...I like his white shirts...even though biwi doesn't:-p
Also did anyone else find Akash's clothes silly yesterday?-His uniform is that semi-formal shirt in all pastel shades and brown-yesterday to make him more formal for the 'meeting' they just threw on a brown ill-fitted blazer which was too short in the sleeves:-s (bet it was from one of Barun's suits.)
I'm so looking forward to seeing Arnav in jeans and a white shirt...I hope Khushi has a niharofying moment;-)

DeleteOn eof his better shirts was aftre his saying sorry to KKg scene. When he reaches home, he has this shirt on which I liked. dont recall colour. But not too shiny not pastel. Full sleeve and had this raw fibre look to it.
Of his suita I like the grey one too. The brown, black satin non satin are all yucckkkk!!!

also fro night time, remember he has these v necked loose t-shirts; gray with stripes, black with red piping (this came after car park scene) those look really casual and laid back. sweatshirt on top of shirt is a bit too uptight for me and the nike shirt ala SRK in KKHH was fine but somehoe not very ASR

DeleteFor starters I would settle for them never using that brown satin shirt. And I agree about the rugby sweaters. I don't mind them, and Arnav is uptight so it suits the character but prefer his other casuals...I want a reappearance of the hoodie...like maybe after morning jog type scene...
I know the nike shirt and tracks were sooo SRK in a KJ(Karan Johar not Kamina Jija-LOL)movie...but much better than SRK's gap spring collection display in KKHH. Plus Sobti was looking way better...its not very Arnav but I liked it and wouldn't mind a few more early morning and late evening scenes with him in casuals...
Can't they show a dinner scene with the whole family? Arnav changed into casuals after coming back from office. Khushi in a well fitted suit or a simple non gaudy saree...?
Oh Sandy speaking of dupatta flying and KKHH...I totally remembered that super cheesy scene when Kajols saree ka pallu gets caught in the wind and SRK's totally oggling her until they both realise and turn away...hmm...maybe director saab should go watch KJ's movies and recycle a few scenes...we wouldn't mind;-)...

Muscle show off shirts too can live with - butmaybe some toned down colours and not green and yellow - not very ASRish. Actually with his muscles showing there is ample scope for a Khushi nihaarofying scene ala Jodh Akbar where Hrithik was practising his sword moves. Bitwa can be doing pushups on poolside ;)

For Holi, I want Arnav to be very annoyed with khushi on something and lift her up and dunk her in water and she comes out all spluttering and drenched and blasting on all cylinders till *errmm* situational realities set in
or she is pushed in, and while asking for help coming out pulls Arnav also in and both are intially lunging at each other's throats till they *errmm* realize the state of wetness tehy are in
But CVs seem to be in a you guys have to understand it is a nafrat mode now and torture us with crumbs of cheesy bucket water play episodes. Subtleness CVs, the impact of a scene with what is unsaid and undone..

ReplyDeleteWent through an operation last month around the time misunderstanding track started. I hijacked my mobile from mom into ICU to watch the episode. WHOAA BOY !!! My heart went out for Arnav/Barun as though I know him for ages. Kept on repeating WHY NOW, he just started trusting his heart, smiling and be able to enjoy CCKKP. WHY NOW ?!?!?!
Shocked with my own behaviour. Never EVER could any fictional character(s) could made such an impact in my psych. I am glad they are back to being fictional characters just like my all time favourites Darcy and Eliza.
Now i can sit back and ENJOY the drama !!!!
true... lovey dovey ASR was much too cute to pass up.. and that was not he story to begin with. but I am glad he was there.. at least we can watch him over and over on youtube!

ReplyDeleteMust say I'm a little disappointed with the last 10 days in general.
I feel they could have done a much better job with the HMC routine. The scenes were okay ...good in some places but could have been so much better.
I feel quite cheated about the whole Non responsive Shyaam (Abhaas has horrible timimg-when he finally has scope of getting screen time he falls sick- seriously?)
I find it hard to digest that after his huge-you can't do anything to stop me Arnav-and ya go tell your sister whatever you want-you can't come between me and Khushi speech- he meekly returned to his wife and silently stood by after Arnav married the object of his obsession...Not exactly consistent with murdering manipulative schemer personality - VERY DISAPPOINTING.
We've already seen the Khushi vs. Arnav track and we'll never be truly passionate about it now because we support both of them.
Give us an Arnav vs. Shyaam face off. Make us grudgingly respect Shyaam's manipulaton prowess. Make us feel serious hatred towards the guy. Let Arnav win some and let shyaam win some. Let Arnav use the fact that he is the man behind the money to force Shyaam into difficult spots. Let Shyaam goad Arnav into making some further mistakes with Khushi. Let Arnav use nani and the other family members to keep Shyaam in check and control him.
Give us a simultaneous track of Khushi also getting closer to the crux of the issue but not quite. Give us a some awkward cute Arhi scenes-where they don't know how to quite handle this new non-relationship while they both feel so strongly (both attraction and hatred) towards each other. Personally I want the HMC routine a little better and also some awkward private moments when they're in unfamiliar territory and just get caught up in the moment and wind up feeling both embarrassed and annoyed at with themselves at their own weakness for the other.
Let Arnav slowly realize things...little little things...that strike him all together...preferably when its too late and he's pushed khushi beyond the point she can handle...
I have no problem that the CV's didn't let khushi and Arnav come together but I just expected it to be plotted out better...I'm seriously getting disappointed. Its pretty much the fact that Barun and Sanaya are such phenomenal actors that they make some very questionable scenes fun.
Sorry guys..don't mean to be a downer...I just hope they pick things up now-and I don't mean senseless mushy Arhi scenes to boost TRP. (the kheer thing was just so annoying.)
I hope things get on track post SPA. I can't threaten to stop watching the show ...but that feeling that oh! it seven fifty five must stop everything and find a television is kind of fizzling out a little...but I will keep the faith until holi episodes.

Yes there have been good moments but the momentum has slowed. I was saying the ssame thing in reply to Shwets comment above. Nearly a month since the expose and 3 weeks since the KHUSHI meri patni hai JIJAJI moment. Fingers crossed things pick up next week.

DeleteGargi, agree with you on a lot of your points ... I think the last ten days could have been done much better. One of the problems - Shyam's limited screen space ... either he should have wound up Arnav further, or he should have started some doubts in Arnav's mind ... because of his absence, neither happened, so Arnav's brain stayed on long leave. And even now that he's back, he's not done much ... and nothing useful ... we thought that dropping Khushi home would stir things up, but looks like no one even told Arnav about that.
DeleteMaybe they started Khushi's questioning track to tide over Abhaas's sick leave ... because she questioned, she called Arnav's bluff, she left, she came back ... that's about all that happened in the last ten days.
The only positive I see, is, as I said in my main post ... is that now Khushi is back, she is stuck at RM for the next few months and she has to stay put.
One of the weakest points of Arnav's blackmail was always that once Payash were well and truly married, he lost his leverage on Khushi ... well, what's happened now is that the leverage stays and will hang over her head keeping her mum ... so that much has been achieved. And it was important.
But regarding the HMC scenes, the confusion between Arnav Khushi regarding their feelings for each other, the play-acting in front of the family translating into awkward moments ... that has not been shown well at all ...
And we really need Shyam-Khushi-Arnav scenes ... at the dining table, at morning aarti, casual meeting each other during the day - they live in the same house after all ...
And I want some awkward bedroom scenes ... I want Khushi to move into the bedroom - HIGH TIME ... will give Arnav till Holi, that's it ...
SN: You know Shweths while reading your post it occurred to me...Arnav doesn't view RRR as the opponent or the threat or his equal.

Frankly thats a little pathetic for Shyaam- and also can't blame Arnav. She's the only one taking some action. Right now she's the only opponent while RRR is busy twitching like a ferret and watching his wife knit.
My point?-Give Arnav a worthy opponent. Just because Khushi is the only other properly developed character in the show don't use her as the opponent - she's the misunderstood, fiesty, resourceful love interest!!! Stop confusing her with the opponent and Develop Shyaam's character!!

Q1) is it a filler episode?
No, its not, it's full of Arhi scenes so obviously has been shot with them extensively despite the SPA etc etc.
Q2) is it taking the story forward - No its not - definitely Not as we want it to - its more like taking the story backwards - to the point where ASR and KKG were at loggerheads coz they could not stand each other and did not know each other - thought the worst about each other - so in a way we are back to ground zero - the ego clash of the ruthless ASR vs the innocent well meaning KKG -
Excuse me CVs but have you forgotten the track - its about a guy falling desperately in love with a girl despite all his "i make my own destiny and I do not believe in love, dialogues" and this girl loving the guy she sees behind the hard mask!!! and about there being a villain in here somewhere - and now the hero thinks his lady love is cheating ...etc etc
Q3) Does this change the actual story line? - I used to think the CV have a really different story here (with references to the past, strong characters etc etc) but now it feels as if the CVs have not thought it through - they are just dragging a story or coming back in circles without having found a way forward - now Khushi will come back - but to what use? - she cant question him anymore - will think the worse of him and her jijaji - and he will not know that she is coming back because 'He' matters to her - so their lives are at a standstill point (nothing achieved!)
ODB who should be fighting the villain seems to be doing nothing about that either - in fact if his revenge was to marry the girl his BIL was supposedly in love with - even that is not exactly shown well coz somehow no one seems to meet in this house - no one sits down to a dinner/tea/lunch - no more morning arties - no points of interaction where ASR can showoff to the RRR that He now has the 'Queen'!!
In short - CVs if anyone of your team is stalking this blog - please read our comments - we tolerate the many many bloopers in the show for a reason - the reason being - your characters, the story line and damn fine lead actors - please use them, dont waste them!!
Mona, actually they are taking the story forward. They are making sure that no one will question why Khushi agreed to stay for 6 months and is not pestering him for reason from now onwards..hence the above track.

@ Shwetha, yes i agree that they have now established ODG at RM for six months - but without the questioning Khushi becomes one of the many saas bahu type characters on SP - she looses her individuality - her character and i guess this is what is bugging me the most -

DeleteI don't think Khushi will stop her Qs. Actually she had stopped asking him ever since she got fixated on leaving and asking him to tell their families. Now she will hound him like a dog whenever she find him about tell me how tell me why.
Especially since he will be all smug at winning this round and she will be totally annoyed at having fallen into his trap. better still she may try to weave a trap for him with NK's help mayb.
17th was supposed to be a ME but I think that has been postponed to month end.
I am sure Abhass illness and the decision to retain NK will have resulted in some last minute changes in the storyline and scenes.
And like Dia said, the timing of holi in the various serials is off. IPK is yet to even begin consideration of holi celebs while the others are well into it. Holi promo is gonna happen sometime next Tue / Wed. The next promo if they continue current trend will come out on Wed morning so by then they will want to sync story to current promo.
I agree with Sandy...Khushi will be a little bummed out after she realizes that Akash will do whatever Arnav says, but its Khushi she'll bounce back with some new harebrained idea to get answers.

I now realize why I like serials of old - where they had a fixed no of epis from the start with a storyline or they were short stories with not more than 1 or 2 epis per story. The narrative was more gripping

Actually some inspiration from JA will not be amiss - love story that began with hate and transformed into love. There too there was Mahaamanga a character on whom Akbar was very dependant adn whom he trusted implicitly. She played games and so will TQ. There too there was MU and separation. But that was 3 hours and this is more like 300 hours...hmmm
But will Khushi find out that the papers were not actually divorce papers?

He needs to make her believe that next time they will be and that however much Akash grows a spine and loves payal he will still nod to ASR. His threat his so what is the marriage is done, I can still wreck your sister's life and she will promise him never to leave RM for the 6 months.

DeletePS - am so disappointed with how the show is going that i spent the day going through the old episodes - pre and post diwali and have to say - are these CVs the same as the ones doing the show now??? the story was moving so fast - every episode had something happening and every character was so well etched - even Anjali teasing her brother was so well done - AND must add - ASR with his short, non gelled hair and short stubble looked so so good!! :D

also i cant seem to get over the fact that despite the two sharing a room - there is no difference in living style - apart from the sleeping arrangement - they share a bathroom - cupboard space... little things like that - how come they never step on each others toes???
In a way, I think the CVs are constrained in showing these very scenes that u have indicated above unless there is some kind of truce,between the two.

5) Khushi and Arnav's Real feelings surfacing from time to time
6) Arnav's own hurt at Khushi's betrayal
7) Clearing of the Great MU
8) The Repentence
In a way all these are linked because of the allied angle of Arnav's dimaag not questioning anything becos of the extended vacation.
CVs are buying time before they reach The clearing of the MU which can be achieved mostly thru arnav-Shyam tussle and helped along by all the other points. Hopefully, the various symbolisms that the blog members have time and again pointed out will help this difficult love story.
The situation has great potential especially the journey from point 4 to point 8 but what is spoiling it now is the handling of the points 1 to 3
God, I must be mad surely to sit and analyse a fictional story as if it my personal responsibility to knock some sense in to these mule-headed pair. As nani put it, "yeh bacche bhi na"
Rekha, Thanks for writing that. It feels good to read something positive more that we are dished out such stupid epis. I agree there is lot of potential in this track but CVs seem to be scared to step in there and beating around to reach it.

You constantly hurt and harass her to weaken her will and she always rebounds and takes what you throw at her wihtout a word of protest. Why do you have this need to break Khushi's spirit? Why are you putting her though hell?

It would be nice to have a Payal gyaan session to Arnav.
Arnav's punishment to Shyam is by having Khushi as his wife. I really hope either Shyam slips / Arnav comes to know of Shyam's murderous tendencies. (But that will ioncrease Arnav's hate for Khushi)
Alternatively Arnav sees a Shyam Khushi interaction wherein Khushi shows disgust and Arnav gets confused.
Lavanya had asked him the same thing too ... why are you giving so much importance to Chamkili? This was when she had first joined office and he was giving her those papers to type up the whole night ... that was when he first heard her 'maiyya ke bhavan bhavan' ringtone ...

even La took around 2 months and it was only at the end when she saw his concern for Khushi did she realize something amiss.
RRR does not know the depth of arnav's feelings. He has seen the beginnings of infatuation not knowing the history behind. He still does not know Arnav has married Khushi for his hurt unlike all his proclamations about Di.
RRR still has hopes on khushi. Also he is a coward. He will hide behind TQ's pallu and taunt Arnav. He always secures his behind before he pokes or makes a move. Even after their 1st face off tho initially teh slime said go tell your sis soon after he was worried about what if Arnav does. So he is a character who wants his cake and eat it too..
In fact TQ goaded by RRR will be a more worthy opponent to ASR as she has the guts and the will. Plus it will truly render Arnav helpless as he will be unable to stand up to TQ and that is when I want Khushi to side with him and thwart RRR. Arnav will know TQ is doing as RRR wnats him to and Khushi siding with him will confuse him on her intentions. And until that confusion happens, he is not going to think Why is she doing it and rest of the lights in the sequence will not light.
Plus for this trio to truly go to war, RRR realizing how much ArHi's feelings for each other is needed to keep teh story going even beyind his truth being exposed to TQ. Imagine he will then be able to hurt Arnav from both flanks and it will be interesting to see if Khushi will then choose to cover one of Arnav's flanks to fight RRR so that Arnav can care for TQ. That would be akin to the sita apaharan in ramayana

In the next ArHi private encounter, she will say I cannot believe you would manipulate your bro's life or break another's wedding just for your benefit. Will ASR blurt something more on how Khushi likes to break bonds?
You know I am ok with ASR telling Khushi this time they were just property / will / share papers; not divorce papers but next time they can always be. And now you know I will do it. So stop annoying me. So she will change gears, stay back and make it their battle.
He likes peace, give him noise.
He likes solitude, constantly jabber around him.
He hates to see her with others, keep spending time with NK.
RRR needs to tighten his show. He said TQ was the only obstacle and tried to kill her. But after teh baby news broke, he has not harmed her - will he go back to that now? Because Arnav's Achilles heel is his Di. And an open attempt on her life will wake Arnav to the fact that RRR and not Khushi will be his main opponent. Khushi would never want to take Di's life. In this scenario, I would like to see RRR set a trap for Anji and Khushi unknowingly saving her and maybe getting hurt in the process.
Or RRR tampers with Arnav's car and Arnav realizes that the earlier accident was also setup. Arnav gets bruised and Khushi gets all worked up.
Better yet Khushi feeds RRR something with a lot of pineapple so that he has an allergy attack, gets mauled by TQ and makes Arnav protective of her - maybe even make him say how would she know of the allergy and hopefully as he completes that sentence, ting a light goes - now if she was the vamp and in cahoots with RRR wouldn't she have known and would she not have jeopardized his life?
With Khushi in RM, Shyam under teh watchful eyes of Nani, Mami and TQ will have a tough time cornering her anywhere. So any such confrontations will need to count. Either Payal sees it or Arnav sees it.
Holi pe he is going to try putting rang on her and I want Khushi to say don't u even dare and stomps off to stand by Arnav to remind RRR whose wife she is.
Arnav comes to play holi cos Khushi is busy playing with NK and ODB gets a wee bit jealous.
Am going bonkers and it is not helping that it is friday, no spoilers, pace is torturous, weekend ahead and that holi promo with so many promises

Both scenes would be great... Golden Goose getting angry at Khushi for unknowingly hurting Gormless Gander...Arnav would be surprised that the love of his life doesn't know he's allergic to pineapple when she takes so much care from day 1 to make sure he doesn't have anything sweet.
The second scene just to show Khushi freaking out at the thought of anything happening to him and showing Arnav just how much she cares about him.
more like RRR puts sugar in Arnavs tea, Khushi gets to know it and in her outraged sanak feeds RRR with pineapple juice (concentrated dose) - Khushi does know he is allergic to pineaaple, Anjali herself informed Khushi in Diwali. That may make Anjali firing Khushi "aap ko toh pata inhe pineaaple se allergy hai"

RRR has temporarily sanctioned life to TQ cos even with her gone, Khushi is married. And RRR knows how much Khushi values the bond of marriage. His dialogue in the car the otehr day to let him know if Arnav troubles her.
Yes, RRR needs to do something to Arnav. messing with medicines is easee peasee for him. He has done that with Babuji too. And he could always in his delusional state do something to harm Arnav and come gloat to Khushi that he has solved her problems for her cos he loves (dettol rinse) her. Anoher slap for creepwas from bitiya?
One more thoght: At the dining table, I want mami to make a comment on how RRR is no longer travelling but always around since TQ got preggers. Lets see him answer that one.
CVs have opnened up so many things they have tehmselves all knotted up now.
Side character growth can be established in multiple ways. Now that temperatures return to normal, someone can suggest ahoneymoon for the 2 couples and let Akash say ki agar bhai nahi jaayenge to hum bhi nahi jaayenge. RRR tries to maaro chance asking TQ to come on a second honeymoon but then Nani refuses stating 1st trimester must be careful yaada yaada - off location shoot, car drive.
Arnav will get to see th eontrast b/w his married life and payash married life. And we could have some nice moments. Arre let them just go till jaipur from delhi for all i care. Or better yet come to Mumbai ;)Arnav can always choose to attend a meeting for a fashion week planning
Upset with her bro and happeneings, TQ shoudl suggest to her hubby about wanting to move out to their own place as he had promised before the baby comes along. But I guess nani will shoot it down saying they all want to care for her. *SIGH*
Is Khushi's katti with DM the reason they do not give us any aarti scenes? Maybe tehy shoudl have one and in Arnav's ear shot Khushi says she is not talking to DM right now - causing Arnav to wonder why she would do that.

DeleteIt may well be. Barun is not supposed to ba a great dancer. Oh he can stand and let the girls twirl. So his way of participation is to host the show. Sanaya is a great dancer tho and would be performing I assume. But yeah will be great to have her as his co-host.
