Mon 19/3 - Epi 211 ... The Biter Bit ...

19th Mar Mon

After a nice peaceful romance-filled week, back to the bickering and fighting ... :-S it was too good to last :(
Although Arnav bitwa does remember what happened, as seen by his flashbacks ... does he remember only his own confession? Or hers also?
Does Khushi remember anything at all? First I thought she did, because she said 'no' only after he did ... but she promised again so firmly that she wouldn't tell anyone the secret behind their marriage, that I'm forced to believe she doesn't remember that she actually did. Which is good, I guess, because knowing soft-hearted Khushi, the moment she felt he loved her, she would melt ...

The only problem is, that Bitwa is now learning first hand, what it feels like to be accused of doing something you haven't done ... or being something you aren't. The biter bit ... all along he accused her of so many things ... being a gold-digger, being something she wasn't, being inferior, play-acting, telling lies ... now the boot is on the other foot, as she accuses him of doing something he hasn't done.
And when he sorts things out too, he doesn't get the credit ... damned if I do, damned if I don't ...

So their first spat after all the lovey-dovey moments ... over sharing the bathroom ... and Arnav actually threatens her about Payal if she doesn't give him the first entry ... hey bhagwan!!! He needs to learn a lot about married life!!! :))
But there already is a certain consciousness in their interactions ... when she declares herself to be his wife ... now that was another first :) from her, this time ... and in their accidental touches ... good going, already started ...

Shyam is very happy ...
I thought he would set up some Payal-kaand, but Payal is stupid - she managed it all by herself. Really, don't you read the tablet name when you pick out a sheaf from a bunch of different tablets? And Arnav bitwa is equally bad ... one would think he would be able to pick up tablets blindfolded if he had to, having to take them daily. Such medical details get me annoyed! >:P

Liked the way Khushi was instantly all heran pareshan about her hubby eating the wrong tablet and went running to stop him .. although after that, Bitiya took off and didn't let the poor fellow get in a word edge-wise. I did feel bad ... even though I remembered, he kind of brought it on himself, didn't he ... and he used to do the same anyway ... Chalo, he started walking a few of those RTRW miles today ...though what took him so long to come downstairs after Khushi?

Lots and lots of Mami drama ... SaRun had a busy week last week, so they got a little time off, Barun more, I think. Arnav saves the day for Payal ... and re-emphasizes that Mami listens ONLY to him ... but Khushi is not impressed ... it only deepens her certainty that he engineered all this.
"You enjoy doing all this, don't you? Wrecking a person's whole world in one instant, and then re-settling it? Because you have to be the one in control - always." Isn't that exactly what he did to her? Some serious hard-hitting home truths here, spoken on the wrong occasion, but the words rang true ...
"First you did it with me ... and now, to show your strength, you're doing it with her?"
"You create the situation, so that you can manipulate it any way you like ... and then you salvage it and become the hero..." so you did the same here, after your threat to me earlier ...
And then her tears ... her upset ... "I've admitted defeat ... I've promised I won't leave from here for six months as you wanted ... I won't say anything to anyone ... then why ... " And he doesn't like seeing her cry ... he hates it ... but this time she's not listening ... and she begs him ... "don't do this to her, you did it to me, I can take it, humein is sab ki aadat hai ..." what did she mean by that? "I promise again ... I won't tell anyone about this, I won't leave the house for six months "... (that was an added VO) ... and he can't say anything ... he walks off, leaving her distraught ...
Arnav bitwa, you need to learn to interrupt your wife at times like this ... where has all that forcefulness gone?!
and she promises herself, again ... no more tears, you wanted me to stay in this marriage for six months ... now you yourself will tell me to leave ...

So 100 ways to irritate Mr Raizada starts ... beginning with troubling his sleep ... with some loud sneezing ...
And tomorrow? Washing clothes at the dhobi ghat? Urf the late poolside? =))

Hi Girls,

Looks like Khushi does not remember anything about the confession..
1)I think it is also fair becos if she were to remember, she is the not the kind who will not pursue the matter further.....
2)Logically too CVs would be expected to show her remembering both incidents (confession and Shyam confrontation) not selectively
3)when she said she promises again, that she will not divulge the matter, Khushi is in her opinion stating the truth. else they wld have shown her a little uncomfortable with her promise.

The matter of Arnav rescuing Payal and the glances shared between A&K only helped to further deepen K's mistrust....that was a scene that CVs handled well creatively. damned if i do, damned if don't...This life sucks says ASR!!

Arnav remembers ... bitwa already starting to feel the heat ... Bitiya doesn't ... she told him she hated him again :( Rekha, exactly what I thought - she was so firm in her promise, she obviously doesn't remember that she already broke it.
And they only showed Arnav having the flashbacks, not Khushi.

That looks between Arnav Khushi reminded me of the looks between them when Anjali's pregnancy was announced - almost any expression he had would have been taken by her for guilt ...

and her lines in the last scene were pretty hard-hitting ... at first watch, I was irritated with her, why is she not letting him speak at all ... then remembered that he had actually threatened to do something to her sister again ... and that all those lines were so apt to her own situation ...

The way she said ... humein iss sab ki aadat hai ... what did she mean? Was she referring only to what had happened between her and him ... or the fact that she was used to being made the whipping girl by the Guptas all her life anyway? And was that why she learned to bounce back so quickly every time? Because she was just so used to being battered emotionally?

OMNIBUS ALERT - Multiple Comments for a whole week's worth of episodes - from 13th Mar to 19th Mar

Tue – 13th March
In my last comment on Mon, 12th march post, I had wondered if after hearing TQ’s happiness at ArHi Jodi, would TF divert his attention to the unborn child. But by Fri, 16th Mar I realized no, he still nurtures hopes of getting Khushi (dettol double rinse - DDR)
Towards the end on Mon, we wondered what Arnav had seen – He just heard his jija’s monologue about applying colour. He did not see Khushi and her leaving suddenly. It was because he knew of his jija’s plan, he came out for the holi though he never plays. He would have also left had it not been for the declaration of the RS again to apply colour on Khushi. Arnav will keep track of how Khushi being married doesn’t affect TF and he will begin to realize the extent of the rot in this man making it easier for him to believe the man could murder too and therefore realizing the danger of his family from him.
Arnav can claim all he wants but Khushi’s tears will melt him like none other. His happiness at her happiness of being accepted by all was soothing.
When nani says “humne aapke kapde rangaadiye, lagaaya par aapka chehra to kora hai, kaun rang udaayega” and RS offers to do the honours – I thought of how Khushi’s spotless virtue was maligned by the TF earlier think ‘kalik pothna’. And just when Khushi loses hope, Arnav strides in to her rescue and saves her honour again. He did it earlier too by marrying her but she is yet to know that. Even today it took her a while to realize Arnav has come to her rescue as her eyes were closed. Khushi for the first time knowingly took support from Arnav against TF by stepping up behind him. ArHi did not notice the mutual disgust they share for TF – that will come later.
Nani stood behind Khushi as if she was her strongest ally. She did not say no to TF putting colour but was happier when Arnav accepted to do the honours. I was reminded of the Haldi-dori-poolsode scene where Nani alerts Khushi to the fact that her dori is undone and she belatedly realizes the benefit of Arnav’s actions.
Arnav accepts to be her husband for the 1st time – the 1st time he has considered this marriage from Khushi’s eyes – an auspicious start on Holi; the day for new beginnings. And as a start the new bride is marked with red on her cheeks as if a blush spreads on them thinking of him by the very person her heart beats for.
And again it is Nani who asks Khushi “will you not apply rang on your husband?” as if asking her will you not show him your affection too? And TQ agrees playing on the word saubhagya – a blessing every new bride is given saubhagyavati bhava! Today Khushi has indeed been blessed with the blessings of DM and all her family and as the upcoming episodes show, an acknowledgement of affections returned by her husband.

13th Mar contd.

But Arnav who is ruled by the colour black, who defines boundaries and protects deigns to walk away. TQ stops him from leaving until Khushi colours him marking him as her own. She needs this for her to begin to realize that he is hers. A thought here was even in the future when Arnav chooses to walk away from Khushi, TQ will stop him. And Khushi walks towards Arnav on Nani’s insistence – to stake a claim on him that she is not sure of. And as if applying sindoor, Khushi applies colour to his cheeks ever so gently (liked the use of the new RV bg here with the heartbeats; an indication of spring and hope). Arnav is stunned that she would be willing to mark him as hers and his heart leaps in joy that she would willingly do this. It was after all the first time she had consciously caressed him. Overcome by the moment, they momentarily turn away from each other but immediately look back. When Arnav looks back, he realizes Khushi is right there behind him – for him. For Khushi, it is a sweet reminder of how his nearness affects her.
TQ stands between them as if confirming that she is the reason the two have come together but also why they turn away from each other for a while.
Again it is Nani, who cause them both to look up and in the same direction and who for the first time mentions love. The first time the feelings between ArHi has been called love. And Khsuhi who for a long time has wondered what this dhak dhak is all about looks back at Arnav as if asking him, “Is that what thisis?” Arnav initially looks at her but as if not wanting to give her false hopes, answers to TQ (not nani) and says No there is nothing of the sort.
From this episode I get the feeling that when the truth breaks, Nani will be Khushi’s greatest support. She will encourage Khushi to get Arnav back – remind her of her rights.
And like at the end of winter, small shoots of green burst forth from the earth, so too does the love between Arnav and Khushi begin to come out of hibernation. His gentle touch brings a smile to her lips while her innocent smile captivates Arnav. Whatever happens going forward, both will recall these moments as they were sober throughout. More importantly Khushi will recall how Arnav stepped in between her and TF – when she has more dots and begins the connections.

Wed – 14th Mar
All is well between Khushi and their families. She runs up to TQ and their reconciliation is complete with Khushi calling her Di. How will Arnav react when he sees her calling TQ Di – Khushi whom he perceives to be the cause of sorrow in Di’s life.
Even though she tricks them all, Khushi tells TQ the truth about the drink that too DM ki kasam (oh wahaan bhi batti ho gayi)- just like she later almost told her the truth about the marriage. She has already promised TQ on DM that she will always protect TF-TQ marriage. Though she does not know it she already is in spite of the heavy cost she has had to pay - to save a relationship that has no future.
And TF schemes again. He needs to know his theory that she was forced is right. Arnav will not tell him. Khushi does not want to talk to him and apart from them no one knows. Arnav will not have bhang and so he targets Khushi. Who better to send than the angelic sis. And unknowingly TQ tricks Khushi into drinking bhang by emotionally blackmailing her (almost like she has tricked Khushi to drink the poison of hate by citing the paranoia of a broken marriage due to a broken MS). And then TQ tells Khushi “never trust your nanand”. Will a day come when Khushi will have to choose between TQ and Arnav and on that day will she recall these fateful words?
And Khushi in her intoxicated state wanders around. With Payash what caught my attention was how she landed in between them but towards the ends professed her happiness at their togetherness and left while ensuring their hands were joined. Does this mean in the future Khushi would be the cause of some heartburn between Payash (post the TF truth) but eventually Khushi will ensure they get back together?
She took turns in telling people the truth. Her family didn’t need to be told anything because the only truth about her marriage is the Why which she herself does not know. Next was Nani and finally TQ. TF was not on her list so he just hung around the family hoping to catch a gold nugget. An intoxicated Khushi apologizes to Di for the first time. Now why would Khushi mention the truth of the marriage only to TQ and not Nani (because earlier it was TQ who had in their room asked Khushi what she had achieved by hurting everyone (the same day Arnav also told her Khushi hurt him). And the one thing Khushi cannot bear is having hurt anyone. So she begins to explain. And the whole family gets alert.
Yet again Arnav the protector steps in and manages matters. TF knows that he has missed his chance for now. His retort to her to not lie was ironic because she is at present lying but as is wont with the bhang was actually going to speak the truth. Was this a foundation for a future when the truth breaks and no one will believe her but TQ will recall how Arnav had silenced her (she is also the one who later talks about speaking dil ki baat under the influence)
Arnav killed 2 birds with 1 stone – the continued pretence of his happy marriage and a picture of marital bliss to all. TF’s schemes with the poolside sleeping arrangements will not make much of an impact with the family. MB will also stop spying on them.

14th Mar - contd.

He starts with anger but by the end he is telling her to remain silent much more gently realizing that she is not all there and that she did not mean it. His anger today will gradually melt when he will realize that Khushi meant no harm by hiding the truth.
ArHi continue to bicker. A challenge enters the picture and Arnav has been duped into drinking bhang.
In the next ArHi scene, Arnav talks about his feelings for Khushi to TQ & Nani. He talks only of her beauty and looks as her true nature is as yet hidden from him. TQ who is stone sober now knows how much her chotay feels for Khushi. She knows it is Khushi who has managed to bring him back to life. If ever she has to make a choice, she will not be able to send Khushi away because of what she means to her bro.
Arnav walks towards his Khushi with eyes full of love. She in turn watches amazed but does not move back. And then silhouetted against the sun, he reaches for her hand. I was reminded of the temple engagement scene where they turn away from each other. But today Arnav reaches out for Khushi and pulls her towards him. Series of FBs – (A)teri meri (K)near kiss and (ArHi) payal. Both recall moments of physical intimacy when each was intensely aware of the other.
TQ says it all by saying that he does it all for Khushi but makes me believe it is all for me. Waiting for the day Arnav realizes this.
Jolted back to reality, he spins her around as if asking her to dance with him and she shyly dances all the while smiling for him. Oh! How his face lights up seeing her dance for him. And indeed Khushi has brought happiness to Arnav’s life. He becomes his uninhibited self and the entire family by virtue of having accepted Khushi also welcomes him back with open arms. In the end (just like Khushi) he reconciles with his Di. She is happy to see him happy and so full of life. After the present storm, TQ was the last to forgive and embrace ArHi. Would it be the same next time round too? And it was Khushi who in a way initiated the reconciliation by getting Arnav all drunk and his childish self.
Even as his happiness at being forgiven by his Di overflows, he looks out for Khushi. Ever her protector he is always watchful for her (sober or intoxicated). Ironically this time round in an intoxicated state even as Khushi and an unknown guy dance in abandon, it is only the guy that Arnav targets never suspecting his Khushi possible of loose play.
Khushi still needs to tell one more person her dil ki baat - Arnav
SN1: Khushi kiseeko yeh jaanne ki jaroorat nahi hai ki jab hum akele hote hain toh kya karte hain *THUD*
SN2: What all will Arnav pucca recall from Holi? The gulaal lagaana, Khushi’s near fatal slip up, Khushi tricking him to drink bhang, TF’s continued insolence (maybe that she said she will say all that is in her heart?)
SN3: Would he misconstrue Khushi tricking him to drink bhang as her attempt to glean the truth from him behind the marriage – maybe TF will plant the idea in his mind.

Thurs – 15th Mar

Khushi is missing and Arnav freaks out. And we see TF dragging her away to make a desperate attempt to ferret out the truth while he still has a chance. He is getting bolder. TF tells Khushi “I know you did not want to get married to him. I know you were forced. “But that is where he will go wrong – she was forced but she never was averse to being Arnav’s wife.
Khushi though dazed lashes out at TF. She refuses to tell a bad person like him the reason (again she speaks the truth) and asks him to stay away. He is now brazen enough to get physical with her and she will soon begin to freak at the thought of being in proximity to him. That discomfort on her face will show but initially it will be taken as her inability to be with TF (DDR) by Arnav and only gradually a seed of doubt may worm its way into his mind. This is also setting the context for Khushi to realizes how Arnav and TF reciprocate in different manners to her pain. And as she keeps witnessing this difference, she will realize that what Arnav says is not the same as what he actually means.
TF sees Arnav and hides - he does not know Arnav has had bhang. If seen with Khushi who is under the influence surely Arnav will realize some amount of the truth. And Arnav will realize TF’s motives / his plans to keep pursuing Khushi. TF needs to get more info from Khushi - he has guesses but he needs the facts. And he gets one in the form of a possible discord in the marital bed. TQ unwittingly aids him in his quest again. She will be his ally always until she realizes the impact on her brother’s life. Then and only then will she stand up to TF. Even later today it was only when Tf voices concern for Arnav having consumed bhang for the 1st time that TQ begins to get concerned.
Khushi meanwhile wanders to the gazebo. I was hoping they would have a gazebo scene. The first time Arnav apologized to Khushi for hurting her feelings was in that gazebo scene after the barsi. Then Khushi had told him about her deepest fears and demanded an apology. The scene also made me think of the lehenga shopping incident when hushi tells Lavanya that the world of dreams is always better than the reality where only hearts break. Today that gazebo with just the air gushing by would have seemed dream-like in her intoxicated state. That day Arnav stopped short of entering her dreams but today he does not hesitate .
Khushi whose vision of Arnav is clouded by recent events washes her eyes with water doused with rose petals. Rose water which is offered to the gods to perfume the offering . A rose whose beauty is surrounded by thorns. So too her love for Arnav is surrounded by obstacles and thorns but still fills her subconscious sense.
Khushi recalls past incidents – in the order they occurred, each signifying a growing physical attraction between them. The best part here was the amalgamation of Khushi’s FBs – FBs ArHi had at poolside RV scene and the gulaal applying scene. It was a single FB – symbolically showing “dhadkanein ek ho jaati hain”, starting with Arnav’s awareness of Khushi and ending with Khushi’s awareness of Arnav. In each they share a physical proximity causing their heartbeats to run.
Arnav can never see Khushi in pain. As he bends to help blow away the dust, both recall the last time the same thing had happened. That day as he bent to her, Khushi had shrunk back but today she steadily meets his gaze. Will Arnav’s actions eventually give Khushi the clarity to the extent of poison spread by TF?
Unable to take her racing heartbeats, Khushi moves away Arnav’s hand. He takes it as a dismissal and starts to walk away only to be held back by her. Not by the wrist but by the hand like you would when you walk with someone. The first time Khushi takes the lead. Arnav is perplexed, can hardly believe it. He again turns back to see Khushi there for him. (Yday and today every time Arnav walks away and turns back, Khushi will be there for him).

Thurs - 15th Mar contd. - Part 2

For the 2nd time Khushi walks towards Arnav and for the 1st time cups his face with both hands as if to assure herself that he is real and not a dream. And out comes THE dil ki baat – why do my heartbeats increase when you are near me. Why does my heart race faster than my breath even? While ever so gently cupping his one hand with both of hers as if embracing him. Her “aisa kyun hota hai” a link back to the “kyun farak padhta hai” track. Today for the first time Khushi admits “haan farak padta hai”.
Arnav can barely believe what he is hearing. She has these feelings too that she cannot understand? She has also been trying hide them? JUST LIKE ME. Her tears and pain cause him to flinch and he lovingly cups her face. He who is never willing to answer Qs about his heart or share his pain is unable to see her in pain and decides to answer her. Overcome by the events. Khushi faints in his arms just like at the guest house. Arnav’s heart realizes the enormity of Khushi’s acceptance and sheds a tear of joy! Just like at the GH, Arnav gently lifts Khushi and takes her home in his arms. Then it was GH today it is RM. The music when he walks into the gazebo was the original RV but as he walks out it is the new one, with a sprints of hope and a gently beating heartbeat (as if hearts are waking up from slumber). The new bg continues into the next scene too.
That day her wrist had blood but he was not allowed to tend it. Today her cheeks are red (as if with blood) and he tends to her as no one is there to stop him. He gently wipes away the colour red that he himself had applied but because external pressure because subconsciously he has realized how oure Khushi’s heart and her feelings for him are. When he realizes them in reality, he will ever so genlt wipe away the “daag” on her honour that he has applied due to TF’s lies.On NYE when he had wanted to oush back that strand of hair, Khushi woke up. But today as she slumbers, he fulfills his wish of pushing that strand back – as if lifting a curtain from over her face; as if seeing her true self for the first time. At the guest house he had caressed her cheek wondering who this angel is whom life has pushed into his path but today he caressed her knowing she is the angel of his happiness.

The FBs seemed to remind them how destiny kept their paths crossed and from when they have had these unnamed feelings and sensations for each other.

Thurs 15th Mar - contd. Part 3

On Diwali, when Khushi twisted her ankle, Arnav helped her to this same seat and after easing her pain put on her mother’s anklet letting her know he had taken it and was choosing to give it back to her. Today he again kneels in front of Khushi, wipes off her tears of confusion and tells her how he has taken her heart and in return chooses to give her his own. Arnav closes the loop on “farak kyun padhtha hai” by telling her “aisa kyun hota hai”
He who tells her that he need not answer every Q of hers, chooses to answer this Q without the pressure of a challenge or condition. Thereby giving himself to her unconditionally. They say you mirror the actions of the one you love. She had placed his hand on her heart and told him how her heart races. He also holds her hand over his heart, while covering it with his own and tells her his heart races too when she is near him. And that their heartbeats come together to tap out a single powerful rhythm hat both hear.

Fri – 16th Mar
You complete me! I would choose to believe they hugged in private and Arnav walked her hand in hand to sit beside him. Not at his feet as he should a woman who wrecks homes. She cannot see him at her feet as she can never see him weak. They choose to sit side by side as life partners would.
Khushi’s happiness is overflowing at knowing how much she means to him; how close she is to his heart. Even a momentary separation is not bearable to Arnav. In her happiness, she leans into him, drawing from his strength and again clasps his hand with both of hers as if saying I have embraced you with my body heart and soul. As she leans into him, there is momentary doubt but as soon as he circles his other arm around her, assuring her of his support, their happiness is complete.
(As she looks up at him and he looks down at her, I wish they had kissed!!)
And the spell is broken. TQ calls out to Arnav and Khushi is all set to leave but he stops her. Pouting like a child telling her no she cannot go away from him. It is this that will stop Khushi from leaving him when she realizes TQ’s role in their marriage. Khushi who can never see anyone hurt will realize how much Arnav suffered under the illusion of lies and still suffers under the weight of his guilt. When he begins to walk away from her, she will hold him back and be there for him every step of the way. But like the sourness of pickle, she will ask him why he chose the bitterness of life – he could have simply asked her. Every time Arnav has turned back and looked Khushi has always been there. When he realizes how wrong he was about her, the guilt will overpower him and he will break just like he did in the middle of that deserted road. He would be unable to forgive himself for having ruined her life with his haste and will crumble to dust. Like he recalled his past that day, he will recall every moment from the 1st time he met her till he married her at the temple and realize destiny’s hand in bringing her to him. In God’s presence he will think about how she will never be his because of all his atrocities. He will believe her lost forever like the night of the accident. But just like Arnav can never see Khushi in pain, Khushi can never see Arnav in distress. She will again come back to him and this time (the 3rd time) he will admit “farak padhta hai kyunki main tumse pyaar karta hoon”. He will repent but she will be his strength. He will place her on a pedestal but she will reach out to him.
As they stand up, he gives her his hand, and Khushi clings on like she is depending on him, his support. They walk together and cross the threshold arm in arm. But as they start a new phase, Arnav moves on for a bit while Khushi stops and turns back – a momentary separation; The reason her duppatta or honour. When they resolve it all and open the doors to a new life and start walking her honour will again be questioned. Khushi will walk away from him to prove her innocence and reinstate her honour. She asks Arnav to go on but he will be firm and tell her he will wait for her; for her to come back for her heartbeats to complete his again.
Each time Arnav turns his back on her, she is unprotected and vulnerable. On Diwali she was coerced into a marriage, at Nainital she fell into a ditch, today she is ambushed. TF approached as a shadow – reminded me of a graham on their lives. He is the cause of the eclipse on the sun (Arnav) due to his interference between him and the moon (Khushi). Also shadows are only formed when the sun is out / in bright daylight. (In Ra.One SRK said, buraayi sang jo mel rachaaye kabhi na choote uska saaya, the Ra.One with the shadow was the one to be killed).

TF Khushi convo was very very interesting.
TF: What is the cause of your concern?
K: Nothing much I just had some bhang
TF: What is the reason for the tension b/w Arnav and you
K: Tension – no tension .actually we are all good. Our hearts are one. We complete each other. Do you know why? Actually, the kyun does not matter.; all that matters is we are one. (this is the biggest truth that Khushi blurted)
TF: Why did you maary him in a hurry
K: I will tell you later. And don’t touch me like this.
TF: Tell me the truth about why you got married
K: And finally Khushi who lives for the truth blurts out. It was a Q finally about her only not about them. She tells him she was forced and blackmailed. And she does not know why.
Arnav seemed to stand guard outside – guarding TQ from the truth about TF’s lust for Khushi.
TF is confused. If no tension then why did she marry him in a hurry? Why does she sleep by the pool? All he wants is to confirm his suspicions keep his false hope alive (If you lie to yourself long enough, you start believing that lie to be the truth. TF and TQ both have this tendency). Individually Arnav and Khushi would have never told TF the truth. TF thinks he cannot get the truth from Khushi in Arnav’s presence because he will stop her (holi). Even then TF cannot be sure that what he hears would be the truth. It could be a warped version doled out to him by Arnav. Khushi will never discuss this with Payal. He had confronted Arnav earlier and Arnav refused to even acknowledge he forced her; just that she was his wife. The only way for TF to know the truth was to trick Khushi into blurting it out. She had a weakness he could exploit – the bhang.
Of the whole conversation TF only registers the last bit – the part he wanted to hear. Even this he does not realize is only half the truth. He does not know that she will be free after 6 months. If he realizes that all he has to do is bide time till then and he can leave TQ in the vain hope that Khushi will come back to him. But he does not know and now he will use this half filled cannon to fire at Arnav over Khushi’s shoulder. Even at the end his comment on her blurting out her dil ki baat will haunt Khushi but she will also wonder “which of her many dil ki baat” did she blurt – that he is a rogue, that her heart races for Arnav or that she was forced into the marriage.
The other day Arnav chose to see and hear the half truth. Today TF chooses to hear only half the truth. Both will target Khushi through her only Achilles heel – her sister. In these games between the 2, Khushi will realize the difference between TF and Arnav. Arnav she will learn would never willingly hurt her sister or even herself whereas TF will not bother who comes in his line of fire as long as he can have his way.

TF does not realize that a far more powerful weakness for Khushi is her love for Arnav. And here is where his overconfidence will be his undoing. He will over time realize and will exploit this love but as he is unaware of today of their confession, in the future he will be unaware of their wholehearted reconciliation. His overconfidence is already causing him to slip. He was almost caught by Arnav in the morning and later by TQ. His ego and tendency to gloat and count his chickens before they are hatched are his weaknesses. Plus he never learns from his mistakes.
Khushi on seeing TQ covers her face – to hide her tears , to hide her shame and her fear. She realizes her blunder in speaking the truth. The reason she may not tell Arnav about a run in with TF is because she will not be sure if he was still there to hear what she said. Recall it was to TQ earlier that Khushi wanted to confess about the truth behind the marriage. And Arnav had warned her from doing so. Also I had a feeling that looking at TQ, reminded Khushi of the terrace scene and what TF had told her there. Hence the immediate need like that day to find Arnav and tell him THAT truth. This disorientation happened with her for both Arnav and TF. When she started to tell TQ earlier, she could not immediately recall who kaun (Arnav) and now again she was a bit lost about who aapke (TF)
And the ArHi who separated a few paras ago after that 1st step over the threshold come together again because of TQ. Khushi clings onto Arnav needing his support and reassurance. Even intoxicated he picks up n her fear. As days pass and TF gets bolder and more physical, Arnav will pick up on Khushi’s discomfort. It is to him she will some for comfort and reassurance though she may not tell him why she is unsettled. Today she begins to speak like the day she realized TF’s truth but stops thinking of the hurt to Arnav like that day. Khushi tells herself her silence is to protect TQ but it is actually to protect Arnav from hurt. How similar are Arnav and Khushi. They believe the cause of their actions is TQ but it is actually each other that they care about.
The family seating to watch the video. They form a triangle. And TF is at the apex, in a apposition of power along with his RS. TQ is his leverage over Arnav and Payal will be his leverage over Khushi. But later when the truth is exposed, Payash will become Khushi’s strength while Mama and Mami will stand by Arnav. TQ who is the closest to the truth will be the last to know because TF stands just behind her and she cannot see him for who he is. Nani may be the next to know of the whole truth from both POV and she may urge Khushi to reach out to Arnav (like she did at holi). She is elderly, has the experience and capability to judge the picture in its entirety. She knows about Payal’s broken wedding, Arnav’s past and the source of his insecurities, the honesty of Khushi’s character and the fragility of TQ. She is also firm about right and wrong and would be able to correlate to TF absences and presence in RM.
In the terrace scene, Arnav was at the apex and he has been making the moves since. Now with TF at the apex, his games will begin in earnest. In the future, Khushi will be at the apex making the moves. It is then that TF will begin to get thwarted and Arnav will begin to get confounded and begin to realize he is missing a piece of the puzzle. TF who picked up the vibes pre-wedding between ArHi missed their awkward glances today or wrongly construed them as the embarrassment of a couple who are actually not a couple.

But in the triangle, there is no one between ArHi. They are joined and it is this union that will be. They are at the ends and seem like pillars holding up the whole family. They will sit together only later when their union is acknowledged by their conscious minds too. The subconscious knowing is important because it will always make the other however unwillingly feel and care for the other. The subconscious is the foundation. The bridge of consciousness is yet to be built but the path to do that is clear.
If you look at it as a pyramid, TQ who was standing is at the apex of this pyramid with whom every facet of this family is linked.
Post the nasha going away, there is an awkwardness between ArHi. They cannot be outright cruel / hurtful to each other, They both know what they did before and under the influence at Holi at least publicly. TQ will tell Arnav about him praising his wife thereby making him face up to the truths buried in his heart. They know they disappeared off the video and came down together. I think TF does not realize that ArHi were together when they were missing. He wasn’t around when TQ announced she will go call them. Khushi disappeared off alone and was alone when he found her by the poolside. As for coming down together, he would assume TQ found Arnav, came to look for Khushi and then they all came down. (recall Khushi asks TQ Arnavji kahaan hai as if she is not aware that he is waiting for her just outside the room). Even TQ who came to collect them did not realize that they had been together all this while. I think that was why ArHi were a bit taken aback by her question and they would need to realize that if they said and did what they did while no one was watching, it was not a HMC. But they recalled that they had been together. As always “Teri Meri baton ka har lamhaa sabse anjaana”
Arnav is embarrassed to have revealed so much of his vulnerabilities to Khushi. Plus TQ has announced that under bhang people only state the truth.
Arnav will recall how he felt when she applied colour to his cheeks and Khushi will recall her heartbeats racing when he had applied colour on hers. Arnav may recall more. He seemed pretty together at the gazebo and he carried her till the pool. Khushi faints after her confession and seemed to be going in and out of consciousness. Even later she seemed all befuddled and seemed totally surprised to see Arnav doing all what he did. She did not react too aversely or contemplatively either to TF’s truth spilling jibe. She may not remember anything but for vague memories. TF may eventually go on a gloat rant with Khushi telling her how she blurted out the truth about the wedding and tried to cover up saying there is no tension between them and some vague stuff about heartbeats becoming one and it will connect home because she knows how critical those racing heartbeats are. But TF for now has not picked up on them so they are not top of his mind.
This misunderstanding will continue for a while. Arnav may have begun to trust Khushi in some corner of his heart but Khushi is still to trust him. It will be interesting to see whom TF manipulates with the info he knows – Arnav or Khushi or both. I think he will pursue Khushi because he still has hopes for her. Pursuing Arnav for now makes no sense because he already made his point to him about a forced wedding in their first face off post the ArHi wedding. And whatever the circumstances Arnav has been stepping up for Khushi, thwarting TF. Also with TF chasing Khushi, there will be more opportunities for Arnav to intervene and diffuse the issue. And Khushi will have a chance to see more of how he keeps standing up for her though in private their lives are hell.

Frustrated TF may eventually make a jibe at Arnav about Khushi sleeping outside which may cause Arnav to get angry at Khushi. He could either think Khushi told TF or TF saw the bedding left outside and made his deductions. TF would not want Khushi to move into the room in a hurry. Another possible scenario is where Arnav wakes up in the middle of the night to see TF ogling a sleeping Khushi and he brings her inside in order to protect her from TF. He will of course tell her jijaji saw her outside and hence the need for her to move in and she will comply as she is getting jitters being around that reptile.

SN: Mami seemed happy at the bright turn Arnav’s life seemed to be taking.

Let’s talk!

Arnav recalls what he said – “tumhaare dhadkanon ke saath saath meri dhadkanain bhi tej ho jaati hain”. He knows he laid bare his soul to Khushi and wants to know if she remembers and how much? He looks at her and automatically looks at the poolside. Khushi only looks to see what he is looking at. She does not recall. For a second Arnav was hopeful she may but then he is glad to know she does not know at all. For a sec he was worried she may recall and know how he confessed and then what leverage would he have left over her. But no, and he shuts his feelings up along with the wardrobe befor she reads his eyes. Khushi for a sec seemed hopeful Arnav would say yes he remembers and maybe tell her what happened. Awkward moments whenever they are together.

And they get used to being a married couple. Arnav has so far been saying my bed, my room. Today he says my house and pat comes the reply – this is my house too, I am your wife (a first for Khushi). Her heart has accepted this bond because her heart knows Arnav’s heart completes it. Arnav stands still saying nothing – again looking at her to see if she recalled something. But Khushi just gets all worked up with holding his hand and claiming right to a relationship which both claim they do not set store by. Arnav quietly wants to go away. With his new found knowledge of hearts uniting, he cannot say harsh things but the feisty Khushi takes over. It is she who talks of getting blackmailed cos of Payal. And again Arnav says only if you force me.

Arnav has always cared and after holi his care will only increase. As she tumbles down the stairs, he holds her to stop her falling. The “dekh kar nahi chal sakti kya” is more out of can’t you be careful else you will hurt yourself (like the coin hunting under bed) and less of why do you have to run into me.

Khushi’s first thought was for his health and him eating the wrong medicine. Hurried or forced, having Khushi under the same roof, gives Arnav glimpses of her care for her and his family day in and day out. He sees her worked up thinking he may have eaten the wrong medicine. She cares for him even if she says she hates him. Her actions betray her.

If Arnav cannot think rationally in angry, Khushi is no less. She too assumes the worst once her temper gets the better of her and rarely lets the other person speak and state their side. When tomorrow they confront each other and she asks him why he would not give her a chance to explain, he will ask her the same Q reminding of all the times when she does not let him explain (La’s engagement breakup, and today’s medicine MU)

Khushi needs to read Arnav’s eyes. Today Arnav was confused as to the cause of all the MB hoo haa. He just knew he picked up the wrong medicine and Khushi in her anger just assumed he was carrying out a threat which she mentioned earlier that morning. Khushi who can use a sangeet challenge of “Kuch Bhi” to get an answer to a simple “Kya aapne liya humaare liya yeh chudiyaan kharidi” assumes Arnav would break Payash marriage for a silly morning spat. Unlike Nani she is yet to realize that though Arnav likes to win his bets and cover his bases, he never ever takes drastic decisions unless there is a dire storm brewing (La breakup, forced wedding with Khushi, 2 hour blackmail to get her back home). He who has beaten himself up for causing Payal’s 1st broken alliance (a pain he has experienced for TQ that Khushi is unaware of), he would never subject Payal to that torture again. He just wants to maintain an illusion that he could. Since day 1 ASR / Arnav tells Khushi don’t force me to be badtameez conveying the menace in the unsaid rather than actually wishing to do anything cruel. Tf on the other hand would actually do a badtameezi like ensnare an innocent girl when married, cheat his wife, chase a married woman just for his lust. Today Khushi sees no difference between the 2 but when she realizes, she will need to bear the guilt of having judged hastily without listening to the other side – something she always accuses Arnav of.

Only when she tells him does he realize that a silly medicine switch is causing major family drama. And when she accuses him of being a home breaker, he wonders how a person whose heart races for him can think so bad of him (karma my boy. You have sown that distrust and it comes back to get you). And in a complete recall of the Diwali drop home scene, a girl whose actions conveyed love a short while ago now crushes him with an expression of disgust and hatred.

Today MB got away with threatening to throw Khushi out but if Arnav hears her saying that, he is going to give her hell. A total recall of the Akash leaving home scene. Then it was about Payal entering RM, today it is about her leaving RM. Then Arnav had stood up to mami on Khushi’s behest, today he stands up for Payal on his own. Even then it was clear that mami is silenced only by Arnav, a fact that is repeated today. Also, Khushi sees yet again how Akash listens to Arnav.

Arnav has openly communicated his support of Payal today. He did not say no mami, he said wait payal. By comparing her to Di, Nani, Akash, Mamaji and himself he has accepted her as a part of the family. A family he will never break but strives hard to hold together. Khushi in her anger missed that. Glaring was the fact that Arnav did not mention TF and Khushi’s names when he talked of people making mistakes and getting thrown out for he does not consider them family yet. Khushi matters but she is yet to be encompassed into the fold per Arnav’s POV. Ever the disaster control guy, he takes stocks of the situation and begins to diffuse it stating everyone needs to relax but specifically meaning it for Khushi. He tells her to calm down, take it wasy, take a deep breath (Akash leaves home scene). Khushi has to start reading his eyes – they held none of that smirk or smugness from the divorce paper incident. They were intense pools just looking at her asking for her to understand.

Mon - 19th Mar - Part 3

The bond between Arnav and Payal strengthens. They have mutual respect for each other. Payal is indebted to Arnav for ensuring the marriage with Akash (ofc she does not know the nasty angle yet). She also knows he is not as harsh and stone hearted as she initially perceived him to be. When the whole TF matter breaks, have a feeling Payal will stick up for Arnav while Akash will support Khushi. A temporary disagreement of views which will be resolved with Khushi coming back into Arnav’s life.

And his past at attempting that illusion of a divorce comes to haunt him when Khushi throws the good deed in his face claiming it all to be an act. Khushi who is still angry with him for pulling that divorce stunt (the day before as per IPK time) rips into the ASR she knows who speaks of deals and would not think twice running someone’s life. She has thrown it into the open on his face that he ruined her life. She accuse him of wanting to create a good impression with everyone on how great he is forgetting that he is least bothered what others think of him. He des what he thinks is right even if it seems heartless. Today he realized how it feels to be ripped apart and accused by someone even if not at fault.

Khushi also needs to start letting him talk. Today and on the La engagement day Arnav would have explained if only she had given him a chance. Her talk of accepting defeat and promising to stay for 6 months makes Arnav flinch. Her loss has never been his gain. And she promises yet again eager to assure him of her silence and stay. And again unable to see her tears not knowing how to respond with his heart, he walks away.

Hmm – in the light of today’s promise how would Arnav perceive TF’s taunt of Khushi telling him the truth. He knows she promised and she would not break it because she is concerned for Payal and her happiness. Chink 1 in TF’s counter-attack.

TF makes a half hearted attempt to manao mami – get in the good books of Khushi. But Khushi has written him off as a bad egg who is only being tolerated for TQ’s sake. Maybe he wishes to curry points with Payal but she will never forgive him for duping her lil sis. In the scene with TQ, TF already celebrates his victory and is on cloud 9. Oh! He will land with a resounding thud. A master player I sure of victory but does not celebrate it till it has been secured. But overconfidence has always been TF’s waterloo.

Khushi challenges herself to make him throw her out. In the office days he said he would throw her out in 15 days but then she ended up in his house and he ended up falling for her. Today Khushi claims to get thrown out, she is going to end up falling head over heels for Arnav and end up never leaving him.

Arnav is used to hearing Khsuhis’ voice in his sleep that her name automatically is on his lips. Today for the first time, Khushi sees the child like Arnav when he is asleep. Maybe the next time she comes close to gloat, he is going to hold her by the wrist and pull her onto the bed too – RV RV!!

But they are past yelling and are talking more and more to each other. And now that the family is settled, observing each other while with others will also begin to happen. Arnav who recalls what he feels for her is going to make his peace and be cordial to her. Events seen with one’s eyes, actions done in person and words heard 1st hand will build that bond of trust between 2 people whose hearts are unconditionally one already.

Dia - I've said it many times on your blog but will say it again. How do you do this ? You take a par normal episode and turn it into something pretty outstanding. Honestly when I saw today's episode , it seemed very much like a filler to me. The take away for me was Khushi telling off Arnav and Arnav unable to even open his mouth in his defense. The theme was also Khushi starting to misunderstand Arnav and giving him a taste of his own medicine. Everything else was just a filler, maybe to give BS and SI some well needed rest. But I strongly feel that IPK CVs should stay away from the saas-bahu drama, there are other effective ways to create misunderstanding, the cheap saas-bahu stuff just does not cut it. There is no sign of changing the sleeping arrangements. I don't understand their thought process, where do they want to go next ?
Enough of the criticism, the best part of the episode for me was 'Bitwa remembers' !! Yay!! We could definitely see him softening towards her today.
Sandy - Very nice job on your takes as well. Amazed on how well you all write.

i understand that this is a daily soap and hence the story moves slowly and even slower is the pace with which the so called intelligent people of the show use their reasoning powers, i am therefore willing to give the CVs till the end of this week to answer my question -
what i cannot understand - ODB's reactions - he remembers - so even if he remembers his part - he cannot be unaware of her response or at least have some inkling of how she had reacted - (he was looking into her eyes - and - after all, the most imp line - was spoken by both!) so how can he accept her 'i don't remember anything' or even himself say 'i remember nothing' - how can an intelligent guy realize that the girl he loves, the girl he though was cheating on him is actually not a cheat but loves him back (or at least does not hate him) and not try to get more info??? even if he only remembers his statements - how can he not think of what he should be doing to find out more on how he came to revealing so much about his feelings? i understand he may not know how to approach her immediately, But they should have shown him at least doubting his earlier presumptions, how can this girl love me and be involved with my KJ?

I for one think ODG remembers - her 'no' was not a genuine no and it came after ODB's no - she may not remember KJ's part but she def remembers some of her parts. This i also conclude from how she reacts in the rest of the episode - i may be reading too much into it but despite ODB having been very rude to her so many times in the past (her forced wedding included) - she never said she was disgusted with him (that was a term for KJ) (SN - don't like her equating ODB with KJ - she should know the difference!). And she says she 'hates him' - its more like a statement she is making to herself - like negating anything she may have said about having loved him and now that he does not remember, its like the final rejection, yet another heart break - hence this time she will not say she has feelings for him - she will say she hates him!
(SN2 - if i am right in this presumption - then my question to the CVs for ODG as well - she should be digging deeper! - her only excuse is that they have not shown her having FBs so far!)

the rest i agree with you all - progress in story in terms of power equation as perceived by Khushi was pretty clear!
SN3 liked the way ODB handled everyone, from Mami to the rest, was well done and not ordered like a 'do as i say' statement

Just my little two cents here. I think all the scenes were required yesterday-Arhi equation was bang on. We knew that they aren't going to acknowledge the confession, But one Shiddat checked Bitwa remembers at least his part but doesn’t ackn. (thats what I wanted) Second what i liked was that they did not show ODG remembering anything. It would have been stupid to show ODG remembering confession but not TF stumbles. And as if to enforce our belief that she does not remember, they had her promising bitwa.
Now coming to liners first time ODG claims him as hers with “this is my home too.” “And then I am your wife. “ Ever after the marriage it was only ODB who has been claiming his right in this bond, today ODG has started that. Like in past she had to first enter into his house and then to his heart. And both the times it was TQ. Today she has been accepted into the family , hence it’s my home too, now she has enter his heart, that has been done with confession, hence the acceptance “I am your wife”.
Agree with sandy and rekha about the ODG not trusting Bitwa and accusing him. It was apt and needed for Bitwa to started his RTRW. Because for ODB to start the walk he has to understand what he did to ODG in anger and how he hurt her by not trusting her. Till he does not understand that his RTRW wouldn’t have started. And to understand, there had to be situations where their roles are reversed.
Today is the start of the role reversal, Khushi in anger accused him of what he never did, he never intended to. She did not allow him to explain. This was so similar to what he has been doing.
Again Khushi’s antics of making him to throw her out of the RM is again similar to what ASR used to do. Khushi’s each excuse will have the same effect as ASR challenge to get her out of his life. We have always said that they are equals, where in past every time ODG put herself in front of him, he crushed her, now its khushi turn. Hence the mellow down ASR and confession. (ASR wouldn’t have mellowed down if there wasn’t a confession).
Now we all want that ODG and ODB together fight TF, but that cannot be done without both of them trusting each other. And to trust each other they have to be on equal grounds. And these tracks of khushi antics will help Bitwa to start thinking that he might be wrong. According to me all MU will be from Khushi’s side. Till now it was ODB who MU ODG, with confession and ODG not remembering it, and with TF onboard the entire MU will be from Khushi’s side. This makes them even. And thats where both will start using their heart and mind, which will bring the truth out in their individual way, but the truth will be out only when both reach that end together since each one has one piece of puzzle on their side – the half truth about TF and most importantly half truth about their love. It would be interesting to see how both put together the puzzles with TF putting obstacles in their way.
Now I just hope we get all our shiddats her especially Arnav with a dash of ASR.

ugghhh HATE the drama! don't like the saas-bahu and bichari bahu saga AT ALL! and really, I had the same question as you Diya.. don't u freaking READ the tablet name?? even if u are in a hurry or something?? I can excuse Arnav because he had a headache, so would probably not be in the right state of mind ... but what puzzled me was that if he had a headache, wouldn't the medicine for headache be ok for him too?? :P well, let's assume is was mami's migrane medicine or something.. :P anyway, I'd better stop paying attention to these medical details..and if its irritating me so much I can't imagine how much it irritates u, diya! LMAO! :P whatever! But payal, really..she is irritating me slightly now.. although I can see that she wants to enter the "good books" of her beloved hubby's mom...and that she was always a bit low on self esteem! Wanted khushi to speak a bit more on her behalf, but Arnav bitwa did it all.. :D love the way he logically goes "yeh galti kisi se bhi ho sakti thi..to kya aap hum sabko ghar se nikal deti??" Arnav bitwaa, if logic was so easy to understand to ur family members they would have gotten rid of sooo many problems in life.. :P felt very sad that khushi thought arnav did it on purpose.. but he really asked for it.. he has shown before that he is capable of doing EXACTLY what khushi has blamed him for.. first mess things up and then make them ok.. although he always did that unknowingly, if I would use the word in his defense "innocently".. because he always believed at the point of time that he was doing the right thing..and did not think of any alternative for that.. but I can't blame khushi for thinking he did that knowingly!

I think Khushi does not remember the conversation b/w them at all.. coz like u said diya, she would melt instantly at the knowledge that he really cares for her and would immediately demand for explanations.. if she only remembers her part, then like someone also said above, its weird that she remembers only the part she spoke to arnav and not the one she spoke to shyam.. even if we assume that she was pretty sober when she was with arnav and that the effect of bhang kicked in majorly after that.. :P which also explains a bit why they both were acting a lot more drunk later on and not so much at the pool side.. As for Arnav, that's debatable.. because he remembers the stuffhe said to her, but not the stuff she said which made him reply in this fashion! Either he should remember all or he should remember nothing... so its either a blooper by the CVs in order to extend the track or then he selectively doesn't want to remember her side of the story! Whatever the reason, alteast he remembers he said something to her ... and that means, for the first time since his realisation of what she means to him, he has said it out loud in so many different words and acknowledges it to himself too! Which in itself is an improvement I think, knowing how erratic he is when is comes to losing himself to his emotions! :)

continuing my bit from the previous post since the last comment was becoming tooo big for the blog!! ROFL!! :D

anyway, the last part of the epi was totally hilarious ... including the part where they are fighting for the bathroom! :P even though it wasn;t supposed to be with the BG music, it made me smile widely, because of the way khushi used the word "patni" for the first time, which also made arnav go blank for a while.. he would have actually let go of the handle if khushi hadn't! :P and then ofcourse, the "100 ways to irritate ASR" .. :D well, she does promise that she will stay in the house for another 6 months..but she doesn't promise that he wouldn't kick her out! :P she is sooo smart!! :P haha.. and arnav bitwaa.. what was the cuddling of the pillow as soon as u heard khushi talking?? have u forgotten that she doesn't sleep next to u.. do u want her to?? ;) :P btw, barun/arnav was looking absolutely adorable while sleeping.. :)) no wonder even khushi melts saying "who would imagine that such an innocent face would carry a person like the Laad governor" :))

oh and btw.. since I have missed many epis..can anyone please tell me how the term "Laad governor" came into picture?? and what does it mean, anyway? :P I have no idea...enlighten me please! :D

oh forgot to add the bit about shyam!! He is actually creepy.. :((( don't like him...try to forward his scenes .. and says a lot about the actor..he has done a fab job!! :)) the only good thing to make out of the shyam-anjali scenes for me.. :P I don't know when anjali will see the disgusting person behind the facade of her "maryaada purushottam" hubby...but I don't think she is strong enough to deal with that.. :(( already feel bad for her! :( That's why I really, really want arnav-khushi together when that happens.. because between the two of them, they can handle her really well..just one of the two won't be able to do that since khushi sees everything emotionally whereas arnav sees everything logically..and to handle anjali when that shock overcomes her, there needs to be emotions as well as tact.. :) I don't know what his plan might be now... can't think of anything, except that he will try to make more moves on khushi and increase arnav's MU about them.. though how he can manage this in the presence of so many people in the house is really interesting to me.. they better handle the shyam story well.. because a lot has depended on that..

Are they planning to get khushi-payal's dad out of paralysis too?? or atleast show some improvement? or now that khushi and everybody else knows about it, that does not matter? He has completely vanished ever since khushi's wedding... I would rather like him to be involved in this too.. maybe he can confide in arnav..

btw, does arnav also know or think that the guy khushi was engaged to was also shyam? Has he ever been shown to know the name of khushi's ex-fiance? Or does he only think that khushi and shyam have feeling for each other only recently? or maybe I am thinking too much... :P Help me out!! :P

Mads....

Its the expression that K used for A, given his haughty behaviour towards her..she used it moreso during the office episodes as ASR would really trouble her with tasks etc..later on K started using the term esp when she was angry and referring to him(which is mst of the time!!)

Laad Governor is kind of rustic pronunciation for the term "Lord Governor", probably the term is a throwback to the colonial times.
When is used now, it is more to indicate a person who behaves very haughtily and is a person "to the manor born", has a high standing in society though is arrogant!!

Also, Sandy and mads ... this was the second time Mami actually got irritated with Payal's crocodile tears ... I think she would respect Payal a lot more if she actually stood up for herself more firmly. Mami is like a rubber ball, the harder you throw her, the higher she jumps ... Nani's scoldings, Mama's firmness, Anjali's pleas ... nothing works on her ... because her place in the family is secure. So she says what she likes and gets away with it ... the only person who stops her is Arnav, because he holds the purse strings ... and because he can show up her superficiality without getting bullied. How I am waiting for the day when Khushi holds the same power and is able to put Mami in her place as well ... I wonder if that day will come!

And yes, she is insecure of Payal because Payal (and Khushi) remind her of her own status before she married.

Mads, the saas-bahu saga here is still tolerable, because they have kept it farily comedic, and only make it serious when it impacts the main ArHi track ...

Laad Governor ... it should actually be Laat Governor - or Laat sahab ... which means a very dictatorial person, who thinks no end of himself - the phrase is 'apne aap ko bahut laat sahab samajhta hai'.

@ rekha and diya : hmm..I guess I have missed many epis wrt mami's reactions and/or her past, which is why the saga didn't make sense to me before.. but now that u guys have explained it, I can make much better sense out of it..

about khushi holding that power, I think she still does not consider herself a part of that house..its still a 6 month contract for her, so she does not think its her right to say something about the house or about the people who live there.. maybe somewhere its still the house where she used to work?? When she gets accustomed to being a 'member' of the house..a member of the family, thats when she can stand up and say things to mami.. and that won't come before ArHi get together ... :)

Few random comments - we are getting the fourth promo all over again the last few days here ... first it was the Teri Meri song with the words from the fourth promo - the one about
'kaash main tumse nafrat kar paati',
'kaash main tumse mohabbat kar paata'.

Now we're getting the original fourth promo, with the office scenes ...

Honestly, cv's, if you can't shoot a new promo, do you have to recycle defunct scenes? Ok, we get it, this is the theme for the current track, and the actors don't have time to shoot a new promo, but don't be so lazy! At least put together recent scenes with the same words! Or maybe you guys haven't decided how the track is even going to go :(

Sanaya's and Abhaas's dialogue delivery and enunciation is easily the best of the lot - each word comes out crystal clear and correctly pronounced, even when they're speaking fast and have a lot of dialogues. Both had today, and they were a pleasure to listen to ... ok, Shyam was not a pleasure, but you get what I mean!

I liked the way Arnav handled Mami - coolly, politely, and very firmly, without raising his voice ... now that was what a sophisticated business tycoon with a firm grip on things behaves like!

Oh well, wait and watch!

The E24 today had a very short news byte on Khushi falling ill ... so I think they are slowly going towards the clearing of the misunderstanding from Arnav's side ... *fingers crossed* ...

Just hope Khushi doesn't become too juvenile in her antics, I can't take that! Putting her clothes in his cupboard is fine, washing the clothes by the poolside with that dhobi ka danda is seriously CRASS!!!

Agree Dia !! Khushi needs to be matured in her antics. And she having Dhobi Ghat with that dandaaa is a big noooooo!! even my made does not use it anymore!!!

ODG falling ill and ODB taking care so reminds me of ODG taking care of him when his sugar levels come down.
Now will this lead to clearing ODB MU? nope, but more towards his acceptance of his love and that cant hate her. Again the reverse of the 4th Promo where K says kash mai tumse nafraat kar pati."
