Quick edit ... Nani, you rock! You dance, you play Holi, you drink bhaang, you encourage Khushi to go into business, and now you remember what the youngsters have all forgotten - a honeymoon!
Thankfully the 8 year old Khushi has gone, and the young woman we love is back - the one capable of feeling, thinking and getting hurt. But she can't think of hurting others at all ... her views on Shyam are not colored by what Arnav thinks, they are only her worry about how hurt Anjali and Arnav will be when they get to know what Shyam is like ... because her own conscience is clear as far as Shyam is concerned. She has not yet connected the dots that anything she did could have hurt Di ... when all her her thoughts and actions have been to prevent that hurt from happening.
What has she done? Not told Anjali the truth about Shyam. Broken off her engagement as soon as she knew Shyam's true face. Tried her best to cut off all relations with him, avoid him, even when he has been running after her. If Arnav knew this, would he accuse her of hurting him, or his Di? At best, he would say she should have told him.
And if she even thinks for a moment whether Arnav knows, the fact that Shyam is still in the same house, very much married to Anjali would negate those thoughts, because she knows Arnav's temper, his fierce protectiveness for Di, and she knows he would throw Shyam out as soon as he knew the truth. In a way, she is protecting Di's marriage from Arnav's anger as well as from Shyam's own infidelity.
So that is why she doesn't immediately connect Arnav's anger with her and Shyam's infidelity. Because she has no idea about Shyam's lies ... she probably doesn't even dream Shyam could fall that low. Remember that after her marriage, Shyam has been concerned about her welfare, her well being, whether she was forced, is she all right. She can't think that he would deliberately feed this lie to Arnav knowing it would make Arnav hate her and mistreat her. And she can't also dream that Arnav would ever marry her if he indeed thought that way. Why would he marry a woman who was wrecking his sister's marriage? Why would he marry a woman who his BIL loved, whatever said woman felt for BIL ... the logical thing, as we said, would be to get rid of that woman, to send that woman as far away as possible.
She doesn't know Arnav isn't operating on logic here.
Hence Khushi's cluelessness today made sense to me. Thank God that Khushi is back, whose thoughts I can read again :)
And I was glad to see the more intense ArHi confrontations back - although Sanaya shot a lot of the pool scene solo ... there was a disconnect in the dialogues at the start. But as always in intense scenes, her expressions were bang on - both of them were.
Did Arnav's memory take a break today? What happened about remembering the Holi confession? Or did Di's words and the memory of the terrace scene overshadow that memory?

Why would any sister want to interfere in husband-wife quarrels? Whatever they're doing, it's between them - made very clear when Khushi kept denying that anything was wrong ...
So Anjali realizes something was wrong ... Nani, as usual, comes up trumps - send them to spend some time together. What a brilliant idea, Nani ... and as far away from KMH as possible!
Arnav cancels honeymoon ... but of course. Was he a bit upset that Khushi also didn't want to go?
I actually loved that she wanted to move out to the poolside again ... as though telling him, don't spare even a shred of humanity or sympathy for me, I don't want it. Fiesty Khushi back :)
So Arnav gets the recliner. Shiddat granted - he moves into room. :) Why didn't he change clothes before sleeping?

End your call, clean my room ... and wrench off the bt when she doesn't listen straightaway. And you expected her to comply ... tut tut, bitwa still doesn't know his wife ... of course she won't take his orders lying down ... tries to wrest the bt out of his hand (in an acceptable replay of the SBB scene, except that he didn't pick her up after ... ok, we will wait - half shiddat done) ... and a small rabba ve, only instrumental (this shiddat complete, thank you cv's :) ) ... as they are both getting more and more used to the sheer physical proximity that sharing a room entails. And they have to get used to it, to more and more close encounters of the RV kind ...
Khushi uses the services of Anjali to get her bt back ... and adds that she has achieved her life's desire, so now she can die in peace. Anjali says 'aapko hamari umar bhi lag jaye,' ... and Arnav upset at her words. 'Don't talk about dying, Di, I can't stand it and you know it.' And Khushi sees again his love for his Di - well, she can understand that completely, Di is so sweet and loving.
And as Anjali leaves, Khushi tells Lakshmi how nice Anjali is ... and Arnav sees red ... here his Di is so loving to Khushi, and there Khushi is betraying her love, her trust, by asking Shyam to break up their marriage ... he's had enough of the playacting! How can she do it, how can she be so two-faced?!
Shyam in the meantime wants his watch ... so he also uses the services of Anjali ... The actual two-faced one playing on his gullible wife's trust and love, playing the sympathy card ... noble, sacrificing soul, he will manage with a broken watch ... not letting on that his BIL has stopped his allowance, which might lead Anjali to question Arnav, but just saying he doesn't have the money ... so of course, Anjali steps in promptly, and Shyam gets his watch.Another triumphant look ... Saale sahab, I'm always two steps ahead of you.
Khushi is baffled ... what suddenly made Arnav so angry?
Anjali is his Di ... not Khushi's. He won't let anything happen to her, whatever Khushi might do.
Even more baffled ... 'what did I do?'
And he remembers the terrace hug again ...
'Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean that I don't know anything.'
And that's what she wants to know also ... what does he know? Why won't he tell her what's biting him? What is driving his anger?
'Keep your voice down!'
'I won't! And what of the pain you give me?'
Out into the poolside ... (am totally confused, why go out if he wanted to keep their battle private? Won't it be easier to overhear outside?!)
'Khushi, keep your voice down!'
'But you always do one thing, Mr Arnav Singh Raizada ... to give hurt, to cause pain ...'
(Disconnect in dialogues here ... am sure this was shot separately by Sanaya)
'Because that's what you always deserve ...'
And she is baffled and distressed again ... what did she ever do to deserve this much of hatred?!
Shyam passing by overhears the next, and is ecstatic ... yes, he has succeeded in driving a huge wedge between them ... their fledgling story, whatever it was, will never take off now ... their marriage will break ...
'Whatever happens, you deserve it all ... and even worse will happen, believe me ... I don't know what's going on in your mind, but what you want, you will never get!'
All she wanted was some love, a place she could call her own, somewhere where she belonged ... and this man ... was that so wrong of her? Her eyes show her heartbreak ... all over again ... 'I can't believe you are the same man who ...' ... why did she even dare to dream about him ... even for an instant ...?
And her tears affect him again, but he won't let them ... she is faking them all, he knows her real intentions, he heard the damning words himself ... so he won't believe a single word she says in her defense now ... neither will he let himself get swayed by her tears ... he will not allow them to weaken him ...
So even if Khushi does find out the truth of the marriage, he will not believe her ... which probably means she will find out the truth soon enough ...
And she is broken all over again ... again he's done the same thing ... hurt her, crushed her ... and not even told her why ...
'No ... I won't waste my tears on you again ... not on such a stone hearted man ...'
Stone hearted? She broke his heart and she calls him stone hearted?!
'Enough!" ... he slams the door shut on her hand ... and as she cries out in pain, he turns back in instant contrition ... but she wants none of his sympathy now ...

And Shyam brings a worried Anjali, feeding her fears all the way ... there is something wrong between ArHi, they're fighting ... their marriage is not working out ...
Khushi freezes at the sound of the voice, and moves out instantly away to the poolside, to hide her tears ... a worried Anjali moves to her and Khushi manages a smile ... Shyam feeds more fuel to the fire by insisting he heard a quarrel, and asks Khushi if she's all right ... feeding Arnav's rage even more ... again Khushi manages a smile, and Arnav makes an excuse for raised voices ... everything is all right, he won't let anything go wrong ...
A brief exchange of glares between Arnav and Shyam, missed by Khushi as she struggles to remain calm in front of a worried, still questioning Anjali ... and KMH couple leave as Khushi sends Arnav a look full of hurt, disbelief, upset and pure heartbreak ... why is he doing this to her?! Why won't he tell her? Tell her her crime, and at least give her a chance to defend herself?!
Anjali is finally convinced that there is a problem in the ArHi marriage ... let's consult Nani. Shyam satisfied ... Nani might take a decision for a separation.
Mami-Payal and fashion show ... their meeting broken up by call from Nani ...
And Shyam's plan backfires again ... Nani gives Khushi the status of senior Raizada bahu :) ... and in her wisdom, decides ArHi need some alone time ... Naniji, I bow to thee! Thou art so wise! =D> Definitely some alone time ... away from all the KMH's in their lives!
So Nani has decided ArHi and Payash need a honeymoon ... and Shyam has been deputed to organize it. Another googly ... this time from Nani ... and Shyam is frustrated again. :))

Nani and Anjali think Khushi is worried about her business - and reassure her - that's the advantage of having a partner - Shuklaji will manage. (So for the time being, Khushi's business continues)
And when Arnav returns later at night, Khushi tells him she doesn't want to go for the honeymoon, he tears up the tickets and informs her he has already cancelled it ... and she says thanks for doing the needful, she's grateful.

And she makes for the poolside ... she doesn't want any favors from him ... besides, she can handle the poolside better than he can ...
And after sleeping out himself, he realised how very uncomfortable it was, and he can't actually do that to her again ... (so that's what the wry neck was for?)
But of course, neither will say so ... admit to caring about each other? Impossible!
So the next shiddat done ... they both share the room for the first time ... she keeps the bed, and he gets the recliner ...
And Shyam tries adding some more fuel to the fire ... and again it misfires ... Nani has another plan. So what if Arnav isn't free to go out of town? He has to come home, doesn't he?
Good things - the comedy was kept for the supporting cast, the leads got serious again, and Shyam got busy with planning .. which always means that ArH will progress another step. They already did one step today - sharing the same room. Forgot - Payash are resigned to the cancellation ... they want to go with respective siblings :))
So some movement today in story ... Arnav will not believe anything Khushi says - words or deeds. Despite her confession? Despite her evident love for Anjali and Nani? Despite everything he has seen about her in the past? That one scene burned into his memory so strongly that nothing else can seemingly dislodge it.
So what will it take to convince him?

oh and by the way, awesome action filled episode.. loved it!! :)) wanted to slap arnav right on the face when he slammed that door right on khushi's hand.. but she gave it back to him in a much better verbal reply.. :D u go, girl!! :))
FINALLY the story's moving... didn't expect soo much so soon...oh well, not regretting anything!! :)) will write my detailed take after u update diya.. because u mostly cover all the points that I want to mention.. :)

Oh I'm not sure how I feel about the spoiler...i really hope its not random RV's track after the comedy routine we just endured...this is the time to take the story forward not placate the droolers:-(...

I could see more angst in Khushi's eye compared to arnav today.
Khushi's eye had angst, pain, hurt , innocence and confusion .Sanaya was great but sorry i did not like BS angst today ,something was a miss in his scenes today.

DeleteThe scene after Anjali's remark and Khushi's response (K's response altho innocent was calculated to remind A of their twisted connection, not that he needs reminders but this was a bit poignant)
A was not expected to show any feelings for K in that avatar, according to me...showing him having any feeling other than anger would have diluted the impact....in fact, i felt BS was bang on.....even the concern after the banging of door was not overdone....

Ash, I think it was because BS was shooting with Sanaya's BD. I didn't find much wrong with the emoting, but the dialogues were messed up and out of place ... so obviously they were responding to written cues while probably on shoot, they ad lib or something. The scenes were as good as they could have been with BD's ... would have been better if both were acting together. Two good actors always feed off each other's performance. Sanaya was spot on in her expressions today, though - I had no difficulty interpreting Khushi's thoughts.

Khushi got a big hint from Arnav today, that he won't let her harm Anji....just waiting for bitiya to have some time off to start thinking, but Anji n nani are not allowing her to.....
What sort of couple are Payash...they want Bhai and Khushi on their honeymoon, says they won't enjoy if ArHi are not there....i was 'rofl'
Arnav was too rude today, seems like he totally forgot the Holi confession episode, but he blurts only in his angry mode, so m happy with it......

Another thing is that Arnav is giving the wrong cues to Khushi - he keeps talking about Khushi hurting Di ... while in Khushi's mind, if she even thinks of Shyam, it is in context of HIDING something ... not hurting ... she can't think how her actions of avoiding Shyam, of breaking her engagement to Shyam when she got to know he is married ... how would those HURT Arnav? Or HARM Di ...

I somehow found the Arnav Khushi confrontation repetitive...I'm really glad they've moved on from The Great Indian Laughter show track and at least remembering their hurt and anger but its still repetitive.
Points that grated...
1. Even if they were fighting...even if he was screaming at her...heck even if she chucked her phone at him -What business is it of anyone elses?? Which sister and jijaji will barge into their brother and bhabhi's room to find out why they were fighting...!
2. Is Khushi blind? Can she not see the tension between Shyaam and Arnav? How can she have thought about Shyaam and totally forgotten all of a sudden?
3. Ewwww! Creepwa needs money from wife to buy a watch??? And wasn't the point to rub in Arnav's face that even though Arnav cut off his funds Arnav is still paying for his whims and fancies...blooper? or will he see/hear about it tomorrow?
4. The second button on Arnav's left sleeve is different from the others (I'm weird...I can't help these things:-s)
which sister would barge in ----- The Anji types....she doesnt let them sleep-in on the morning of their supposed SR, infact i was surprised she took so long to walk in, me thought she would just teleport herself to their room...

I guess Arnav will find out sooner or later that cutting of Shyam's money is not keeping him in check - and hopefully that might add to Arnav's realization - so it will happen a little later ... everything can't happen in one day!
Coming to think of it - today Arnav dropped some clues again that it's something Khushi has done which has provoked his sudden hate ... and Shyam has set into motion some events which later would cement Arnav's realization of the actual truth ... so I guess both tracks are under way.
Mads...a better episode on all counts...there has been progress esp from A's POV, its out there in the open.....the hurt...brought on by TQ's remark but the only jarring thing for me continues to be Khushi's total amnesia esp now after her brief questioning a few weeks ago.

Its said "chor ke dadi mein thinka"...okay agreed khushi is not the chor but shouldn't there be some dots connected by her in the light of A's unusual outburst today...he almost said everything except naming her and Shyam......Even if she couldn't connect it then, shouldn't it have been the first thing striking her after the fight....CVs here know that they have to show some REAL action once they show K having realisation...so naturally they are holding that back...but its not logical progress if they don't show her introspecting soon...really soon....Let her be thwarted in the process of finding the truth but atleast set her out on that mission...
Hey Rekha, i think she will start thinking, as soon as Nani and Anji will give her some me-time.... here she was digesting some Arnav-barking n Nani comes up with a honeymoon track, making her feel guilty for playing with their emotions.....i find it logical in daily soap land to take 2-3 days (IPK calender) for retrospecting.........

DeleteI don't know how much longer they are going to drag it...I am just convincing myself by saying its because Sanaya is off on a vacation that they are postponing the major chunks of the track.. once she is back and once the story progresses in full swing, there is no stopping back... I would say by the end of the week after next, u will have major realisations coming through.. :)

also...Arnav's RTR has to be one helluva looooooooong and remorseful journey..aided if at all with K extremely mad at him for not opening his mouth even ONCE to ASK her whether the stuff he thought she "did" was actually the truth or not...for having ruined her life in soo many different ways than one..for crashing ALL her dreams and beliefs abt love and marriage in such a ruthless manner in just one minute..
or else the balance will be gone! :)

Hey Ashwini, I dont have much hopes from Bitwa.....his famous Dimaag is only for name-sake.... he is as emotional for Anji and Khushi, as Khushi is for Payal...infact even more....Khushi atleast thinks rationally, he isn't even that... it will be only Khushi connecting the dots n realizing the reason... she may try to explain it to him ut he won't listen, insulting her again, n she may leave it at that... deciding to finish the 6 months n leave.... n later he may realize the truth or see how she behaves around shyam, n how much she cares for anji...i dont want khushi to risk her life saving anji's, inorder for arnav to realize her dedication for anji....that wud be so dramatic...but given that bitwa's is not using his dimaag at all, he needs a big jolt like this to shake his brain in working condition.... after today's death dialogue i think they wud go in this direction only

(after 2 weeks) reawakening the memory that his Di was in danger.. now he does not remember that he is another blockade in the RRR-0DG road(did he forget or does he think annapoorna will go back to snake after 6 months?)

I think, after last week's detour(or filler or whatever set of episodes those were) the storyline is progressing along something beleivable.
@Jaya...u know honestly, I would consider the last week real crap...there was NOTHING in that week that I would connect to the storyline...for me, the holi confession was the last episode after which today's episode directly makes sense.. the ones in b/w were utterly stupid unless they were abt the Arnav shyam bit.. but as far as K starting the business thingy and 100 ways to irritate ASR etc did not make any sense to me at all at this point of time..

Again I repeat what I wrote in the main post ... Khushi is not connecting the dots because the words are all wrong ... HURTING, HARMING ... not HIDING ... He said something about her ghatiya harkatein and ghatiya baatein ... now how on earth is she to get a clue from that that he is talking about hiding the truth about Shyam? From his words about acting, she could have got a clue, that she acts normal around Shyam when she knows his truth ... but from today - nope, no way.

honeymoon.. wait! snake planned it? when? in one morning, he put his ear to salle's bedroom, swindled his wife out of around half a lakh for an expensive (and so ugly) watch,(and the watch guy did not even put the money in the suitcase before running off..) got all concerned to "khushiji" in front of our boy, planned a honeymoon down to limo pickup and candlelight dinner (eww guys) and also plotted with nani? that villain's too busy yaar.
superfast episode today... so many things happening. The saas bahu track today lacked its normal flow. seemed stilted somehow. I'm sure the same thing said in simpler sentences would have made a better filler.

They showed a payash personal scene today! okay, the dialogue was kinda lame, but they got screenspace!their bedroom!! I say thats the way you make fillers.

DeleteDance will be fun. The last time they danced, they had begun to feel something for each other. Arnav had stepped in to help Khushi as she was in tears and he could see her loose. Khushi was surprised with this gentler version of Arnav who had hurt her so much but who had stepped in to be her support in her moment of need. And TF had twitched that he stepped in instead of himself.
Now, if there is a dance, Arnav and Khushi will not want to dance. They know they still feel something for the other but Arnav thinks Khushi deserves hurt and she think he deserves hate. (Ironically both feelings cannot exist without an undercurrent of love). Anjali may insist and Khushi will remind Arnav how Di cannot be stressed (and he is confused - why is she acting as if she cares. what is her gain from Di's health?)
They come together under pressure (Pressure is a catalyst for fusing 2 elements). It all starts out as a duty to their family but somewhere in the midst of it all, Arnav's love for her will surface and her feelings for him will again make their presence felt.
Will be interesting to see which FBs are played and their sequence. It could also be this moment that Khushi finally realizes that she loves Arnav.At the last dance, the heartbeats that had been suppressed post Diwali resurfaced. She may now figure out why her heart races.

DeleteUr post put the whole thing in a perspective that i can relate to...even when i was writing about the things that were jarring...i was looking for one clue for me to understand this better....
U know, what u have written today about K's character made me recall the earlier scenes. somehow the dumbing down of K's character in last few epis had taken a toll and we as viewers have started to look at only what is there on the surface.
Having said that, Dia, I am confused about one thing and that is on the one hand we are adding miles to A's RTRW.....but hasn't he based it all on what he saw that fateful day?
So, by the same logic is he to be excused from all analysis becos he has always been shown to be person who believes what he sees rather what he feels....what these two do in their weaker moments is of course another matter.
I am saying this more as a defence of what the CVs have been thinking for these characters...
Then in that case, I am not comfortable questioning K or A's lack of introspection ...becos to me then both have enuf reasons to not to question their belief so this leads me to voice my confusion/my question
what is the logic of adding only miles to A's redemption walk even if we all agree that he has not done right by her?
Are we adding becos of the blackmail?
Are we adding becos of the Sleeping arrangements?
I mean it can't be becos of misunderstanding her, right? In that case, both are equally guilty, one for hiding the truth and one for not seeking the truth...irrespective of the reasons

DeleteYes, we are adding Bitwa's miles on the RTR based on our perception ... because we KNOW Khushi to be innocent. And I agree, considering what he thinks is the truth, he is justified in his initial hatred, his feeling of betrayal - I even would forgive him for throwing her out of the room the first night - his disgust at what he thought she was up to justified even that.
But IMO, what adds to those miles is that he has not stopped for a moment to look at the many times when she has been genuinely upset about hurting HIS family as well as her own, when she mentions her Amma, Payal, Anjali and Nani as the people she has hurt ... if from that he hasn't drawn any clues as to her true nature, then he is blind.
Add to which he knows her views on marriage, the sanctity of the bond ... I would forgive him his initial red hot anger and unthinking reactions, but after a month's cooling down, no introspection at all? No intent to spy on Khushi and Shyam and catch them red-handed - even if just to confirm his views?
And now of course, he has his memory of the Holi confession - even if he's forgotten her part in it, doesn't he wonder what made him say those things to her? And so his miles keep adding ;) And I think that's the way the cv's do intend to take it too ... Arnav's guilt and remorse when he realizes the truth ... and I hope we do get an ArHi separaton and Khushi walking out at that point ... or at least an emotional separation ... it won't make sense otherwise.

ReplyDeleteHe tries to forget he confessed; she tries to forget she felt something for him.
A has begun to control his temper and outbursts around K since Holi. He is more aware of the effect his actions have. When she was in his office, he started angrily but then recalled they were at his office, it was a matter between them and asked her to sit before venting his fury at her in clipped tones. He summed it all up with “What are you doing, tum kya kar rahi ho K?”
K after the medicine fiasco, the bathroom fights and her mini victories over the takeover of room, closet and bed has somewhere convinced herself to this life with him in that room at RM for now. She has a loan to settle and is definitely not getting herself thrown out with that debt. So her challenge to herself is set aside for now.
K ignoring A has never sat well with him. In his office, where A is wondering why the wife of a business tycoon plans to start a catering business that too in his own office, she is all caught up in her own world (K tumhe kabhi pata hi nahi hota ki tumhaare aas paas kya ho raha hai – haldi). He can only shut her up with his proximity to her. That is the only thing that seems to derail the Lucknow Express. In his heart and mind, he has not accepted her as his wife – hence he keeps call her KKG. Only to taunt her of how she needs his name does he use KKGSR else she is the very same KKG that dared challenge him, stood up to him, gave it back as good as she got and would never be put down by any of life’s googlies. She always seems to spring back however badly she may be hurt. This has always intrigued A but today he feels that it is just a mask she wears to hide her supposedly real intentions. But yes he is again surprised at how she seems to have bounced back full of life from the broken down person she was just a while ago.
Even in her anger, she informs him the food is sugar free and she will work with sincerity and compassion. (a throwback to sangeet where she tells him,”I have something that prevents me from becoming you = it is called a heart!” And she teams up with Shuklaji. She cannot bear to have the family hurt with them for eloping and getting married, she cannot have Shuklaji unemployed, she has been showing concern for TQ’s health, she also shows concern for his health.
The scene is being set. Incidents are being piled showing the differences between 2 people who A believe have deceived him and his Di. Where one was trusted the other has always been mistrusted / faintly trusted by A. Where one has always pretended to be khuddar while happily spending A’s money, the other has never wanted a cent more than she is entitled to from A’s wealth.
Nani is turning out to be K’s champion. With the business, Nani agreed quickly when she realized it gave K happiness though K didn’t get her approval earlier. Maybe she will support K’s decision to hide the truth as all K had in mind was TQ and A’s happiness. But the game changer will be how the truth will present itself to Nani.
Having effectively silenced K with the Payash marriage threat, he now turns his focus to TF. He has given him a turn but gestures not words are going to convince A. And so far he has only seen TF actively chase K. Only once has he tried to convince A of his reformed nature with that crib. So A decides to test it out – if he cares, he will have no trouble taking care of Di rather he better make the effort to take care of her (I was reminded f how if we get something very easily in life, we do not regard it with the same possessiveness or passion as something we have attained after a lot of effort and trials. TQ and her wealth just fell into TF’s lap so he has never had to work hard to convince her of his affection. Also she being starved for acceptance was only too happy to believe what she saw and did not dare question it further)
SN I liked that they had family scenes. But Payal needs to at least have a monologue. Pretending TF does not exist just because she chooses to ignore him will not help matters.

ReplyDeleteHeart Contradicts the Brain - It’s Complicated!
Arnav is furious with Khushi - for starting the catering service, for flouting his specific instructions that she cease to do so, for talking about his harsh handling of his employees, for daring to do business like him Bluetooth and all, for adding her tadka of empathy to his ASR image. In that mindset, he returns only to see Khushi busy over the phone continuing her Charter of Independence.
Khushi ignoring him / his order or refusing to do his bidding is like waving a red flag in his face. He needs to be in control so he holds off the bluetooth, away from her reach (much like his affection) thinking she will just do the cleaning. Khushi however is all set to claim back what is rightfully hers. So caught up in their Tom and Jerry game that it is a while before they realize what they are doing and how close they are. Note Arnav did not throw it away or break it (like her phone), he says clean the mess and I shall return it (he seems to be looking for acceptable middle ground these days). Khushi though disappointed does not hastily step back from him. They are getting comfortable around each other though they are still hurling words and insults.
To Shyam it has always been about getting what he has set his mind on. Once it was Anjali, then it was Khushi, today it was a watch. Anjali has always loaned out money to Shyam never questioning his spending (though he tired to show otherwise to Khushi earlier). She believes for the one who loves her so deeply and whom she loves, everything that is hers is his. And Arnav believes that everything he has is also his Di’s because she deserves it all.
See how cleverly he spoke of no money in his account while not telling her that her brother had not transferred the money. He could not have her know because then she would confront Arnav and then Arnav would know that his reformation is all an act.
Last time when Shyam deceived Anjali for money to buy the engagement ring, it had unleashed events leading Anjali to momentarily doubt that her husband was hiding something from her. Will history repeat? Will it be Arnav this time?
Again Shyam emotionally blackmails Anjali with the ArHi marriage and how all is not well. He has forgotten the last time he did this, Khushi ended up being accepted as Raizada bahu. Today she was acknowledged as the badi bahu by Nani.
It was a nice touch to have Khushi’s hesitance interpreted as her unwillingness to leave her business.
Never one to miss a chance to charm people, Shyam again curried favour with Anjali on taking her to Bali once the child is born.
Yep, I also noticed the way Shyam manipulated Anjali for the money, without telling her Arnav had stopped his payments. Which also leads me to wonder - does Anjali even know that Arnav gives Shyam an allowance? Maybe it was started by Arnav because he genuinely believed in his BIL's khuddari, and maybe Anjali also voiced her wish that she be looked after by her hubby only ... RRR had Arnav all fooled by his messiah for the masses charity lawyer act, so Arnav started his allowance to make sure Shyam would be able to afford to give Anjali everything she wanted, without her feeling that her brother was the one paying.
DeleteHowever, there is a blooper in this scenario, because when Shyam wanted to buy the ring for Khushi, he had to charm ten thousand bucks out of Anjali. Tab kya hua? Had he already run through his monthly allowance?
I wonder why they have kept Khushi's business afloat? Will it come in handy later when she wants to leave RM? Or to prove her khuddari to Arnav, vs Shyam's freeloading?

DeleteYep, the cash thing was a blooper ... maybe as Anjali runs the house, she has a separate box for household expenses, and she got the money from there. Definitely not from ODB, he was deep in his fight with ODG.
I'm sure it will come up later at some point ... Anjali will tell Arnav casually in conversation ... especially if she does know he funds the account, and he will realize that RRR is not changing his ways ... but it may not happen so soon, it will be a part of his realization.

Also if there is ever an estrangement, they may try and show Arnav how she will still be respected as khushi bhabhi by the office folks even though she may no longer be Mrs. Singh Raizada. The power of a person and his personality and not just a name.
On the cash, Arnav must have started it in all sincerity so that his Di could have a good lifestyle. Am sure Shyam would have refused but "given" in to saale sahab's wishes. He has expensive tastes and he spends money on himself never on the women in his life. Plus in his defence, he will simply claim, that he never asked her for it. Anjali always volunteered the money to him, which is true. Thats his charm. He never asks openly, but gets it anyways at the end.

He will notice the watch or realize that marriage does nto stop him, money does not stop him - clues Arnav into how delusional and stubborn RRR can get. he still needs to make the leap of faith to realizing this swine whom he has given a chance actually endagered his Di's life. I hope the car comes back and there is a conversation with the mechanic about brake wires being cut. Arnav needs a reason to throw RS out and then he can continue his mischief from outside.

ReplyDeleteToday for the first time after the wedding, after all the chaos settled, Arnav saw a real interaction between Khushi and Anjali. At Holi, Khushi was told she could call her Di and I had wondered how Arnav would feel about sharing his most precious possession. Today when he saw their mutual affection, he must have felt jealous. Di who had always wished her longevity for him today wished it for another, one who he believes is betraying her.
I was reminded of another scene in this very room between Arnav and Anjali – on the haldi day when Anjali was trying to indirectly tell Arnav to confess his love for Khushi by talking of her death and the uncertainties of life. He had taken talk of her death very badly even then. And later that evening, he had been forced to realize there was one more person whose death would shatter him. Today Khushi mentioned she had no qualms about dying. Pity Arnav did not pick it up else he may asked himself why a girl who is looking forward to her happily ever after would be ok to choose death over life. But is there going to be a scenario soon wherein Arnav realizes that he still cannot bear to hav her out of his life?
That day it was Shyam who had mentioned that he could not guarantee Anjali would always be with Arnav (though he turned it into a joke) but had planned that havan attempt on her life in reality. Today Anjali wishes Khushi to have a long life and is yet again interrupted by Shyam’s tidings.
For a second when Khushi was telling Lakshmi about how nice Di is and Arnav turned, there was softness in his eyes for the girl who completed him and whose death would devastate him too. But as that thought came to his mind, it unleashed all the bitterness within associated with this girl on his Di’s account. He was reminded with a jolt of the truth behind it all. He recalls Shyam’s betrayal and Khushi’s deception.
It was the first time Arnav recalled these memories when alone with Khushi. The other time he was alone by the poolside and she had walked in on him and he had sliced her into pieces with his “I hate you and hence I enjoy tormenting you”.
And hearing the home wrecker talk about his Di snapped him.
Arnav: “She is my Di. Nothing will happen to her. I won’t let anything happen to her. In spite of what you do”
(like in the rakhi scenes, Khushi sees a reaffirmation of how much Di means to Arnav). And a nugget of something she is trying to do to Di. Earlier she had hurt him he said, now she is doing something to Di and Arnav says he will protect her. Khushi is flummoxed and Arnav reminds himself why he married Khushi – for his Di.
How come Arnav was unmoved by Khushi's talk of death, and so hyper about Anjali's? Bit of a blooper there, especially when he has been shown to get hyper about Khushi going missing for two hours.

And Arnav asks her to pipe down – just suppressed fury, not yelling himself. This cannot go beyond their room. Else his plan backfires.
And again in a repeat of a scene in this very same room, she asks him “What of the hurt you cause me?” *Then she accused and he asked her what of my hurt. Today she asks him)
Khushi: “You always cause hurt and pain”
Arnav: “Because you have always deserved this. You deserve what happened to you. In the future worse will happen to you. I do not know what is going on in that mind of yours but you will never get what you want.” (2nd time Arnav tells her she will not get what she wants and be where she wants to be – recall wedding night. Will the 3rd time be a charm?)
And Shyam overhears and relishes the MU being stirred between ArHi. Recall the poolside haldi evening chudi scene. Khushi’s happiness at the bangles Arnav bought her caused Shyam to make that brake fail attempt and then hasten his confession on the terrace. Arnav had walked out that day to see Shyam loitering around.
Today Shyam sees trouble in paradise and hastens to bring the one person Arnav is shielding - RS. He is trying to stress his pregnant wife that her bro and bhabhi are having a spat. No concern for her health. (I hope Khushi points it out to Arnav that fighting stresses Di so they need to be cordial)
Khushi: “I cannot believe you are the same person with whom..” (thereby reminding Arnav of his feelings for her.
Arnav not one to be moved retorts:”I wish I could tell the truth about your disgusting actions and words. I will not believe a word of what you say. Especiallynot your tears. They will not weaken me”
Khushi is stunned! (Will his perceived disbelief cause Khushi to keep mum once she realizes how she feels about him and the truth of the MU behind the wedding)
On another day, by this very same poolside, Arnav had ridiculed her tears as a sign of her nervousness in losing the sangeet. Then too he told her that by fake crying she hoped to make him fall for her ruse. She had apologized for her tears, asked him to leave as the play was over. Today Khushi promises that she will no longer shed tears for him. She calls him stone hearted and it crushes him because she was the sunlight that had penetrated the crevices of his heart and today she wrote him off.
As Arnav pushed her back, I recalled the GH scene where he had pushed her back. Her looks of fear and her tears stopped him then and they stop him again today.
Arnav makes another attempt to shut her out and in the process hurts her too. But her gasp and tears have him rushing to her aid. So much for her tears not affecting him. Her pain makes his heart bleed. And then as the sad RV plays (from the terrace scene) – Khushi brokenly tells him “This is what I am worth. I deserve this pain and hurt, right? Maybeworse. So let me bear it then, Isn’t that what you want” And Arnav’s eyes scream in silent agony.
that was a powerful scene... too bad they had to ruin it by so many bloopers and terrible editing.

sham overhears.."you deserve exactly what happened to you. in fact worse things will happen in the future... I don't know whats running in your brain but what you want, that you'll never get." sham goes, happy that ODB is still oblivious.
khushi's pov.. he knows what I want.. and promises I will never get it.. a loving relationship and life with him.
and the dialogue.."i cant believe you're the same man who..." was she going to say (said our hearts beat as one)?? looked like that to me.. and his expression confirms it..
p.s. so, does she remember?
then again, he steels his heart. reaffirm that her words and tears have a strength over him, but he will ignore it.
and khushi has had enough.. she was crying because the man (who held her heart) was so hateful to her. now she will lock up her heart.. because her feelings should not be wasted on a man with no heart. no more tears!
and he is affected. so much that he pins her against the door. (you don't know what you're saying, I don't do this because I have no heart, I am doing this and tearing my own heart because you are playing with my feelings.. and breaking my di's marriage)
but he cannot hurt her.. so leaves her free. but is still angry anough to slam the door.. your words say it better

that was a really powerful scene. shoddy bloopers and crappy splicing could not ruin the power of the acting and dialogues.
that scene .. we had been waiting for that one, and are very happy to see it happen.
and one nore thing.. her last dialogue left the whole thing open.. "I deserve it, i will suffer it.." is he accepting it as an affirmation of her guilt?

DeleteWhen reading your comment you know what I recalled At Haldi, Arnav cornering Khushi by the door and saying "Yeh tume kya kiya Khushi" (after she had kissed him) and today he asks her at office "tum yeh kya kar rahi ho".
She does nto recall Holi confession. She could have recalled that he was the man whom she kissed, the man whom she nurtured feelings for once and who she had begun to fall for again. The man who bought her bangles - that scene reminded me of the moment when caught in the flow, Arnav had shaken Khushi to say and what of the hurt you have caused me making her realize that there is more to the scene than meets the eye. For a moment, when she paused, Arnav looked stunned like he did not want to hear what she left unsaid. He ddi not want want her to tell him how he had cared for her, become weak for her. And he turned away from his emotions as always.

Shyam in his confidence continues to only hear what he wants to hear. he is not listening. (just like Arnav in teh terrace). Just so Khushi would leave Arnav he is willing to see her suffer a worse fate at Arnav's hands - but here is Arnav who claims she deserves teh worst but gets agitated even at a slight bump.
I agree with Sandy ... when he says, I know what you want and you will never get it ... then she is broken, because all she wanted was him ... her impossible dreams were all woven around him, he crushed them again and again after raising her hopes, but today for the first time he said it in words - I know what you want and you won't get it. And she takes it to mean that she will never get his love ...

The day of the sangeet, he thought she was play acting her tears (after her encounter with Shyam) and she told him, okay, you can go now, the show is over ... if you think this was an act, then it's finished .
today a similar theme ... ok, if you think my tears are meaningless, I won't waste them on you ...
And the last bit ... I deserve this pain, even more than this ... because I was fool enough to fall in love with you, with a man whose heart is made of stone ...
And she doesn't see the pain in his eyes, that he actually can't see her hurt ... his mind and heart are struggling big time already, and he's trying to deny it to himself, how much his tears affect her. He can take her fighting back, but not her tears ...
Mon – Mar 26th - Part 4
ReplyDeleteIn come the master puppeteer and his puppet. Khushi yet again hides her tears from Anjali and pretends all is well (the last time being after buaji left her on pag phere day). She stands by Arnav and does not utter a word. It is Shyam who fans the fire saying he heard raised voices and keeps insisting. Arnav shrugs it off as Shyam’s MU (what a paradox) while threatening him to lay off as he will ensure nothing wrong will happen (hmm, to both Anjali and Khushi bitwa. You think you are fighting for one but you will end up protecting both). Arnav still thinks Khushi’s silence is due to Payal. Khushi was already overwhelmed with his accusations of her hurting Di, his weakening at her tears, her deserving of hate and pain. Coming from a man she had begun to feel for, who she realized only has loathing for her, Khushi was struggling to hold her tears in check before Anjali and hence did not notice the Shyam Arnav face off. Also, in that scene I felt that Anjali is still clouding Khushi’s sight of Shyam. Khushi will only notce the tension b/w Arnav and Shyam when Anjali is not around.
Awkward moment of solitude for the husband and wife who have yet again lost the equilibrium they had reached after the wedding. Just like on the grihapravesh SR night, Khushi is surprised to know of Arnav’s reaction to the HM plans. Khushi for a moment I thought was disappointed to lose the chance to get out and go someplace even if with Arnav. He seems to have mistaken her not wanting to go as another rejection of him.
Arnav somewhere is still feeling bad that she got hurt. That she ended up crying. That she spoke of deserving hate and pain and all things worse. And he knew he had caused it all. When he entered the room there was a silent resignation in him, very little anger and a heavy heart. Of course her sarcasm, the HM tickets all just served to rub salt on his wounds.
Khushi is all set to walk out before he throws her out. And Arnav the might ASR who wants to condemn her to a fate worse than that of lepers cannot see her sleep outside (especially after realizing how uncomfortable it is). Khushi snaps and questions if he will dictate each and every action of hers and he calmly, confidently answers “Yes” (oo answer to a question she asked him). And Arnav settles down on the recliner. Guess he realized somewhere that his pretences of a HMC were falling apart and he could not chance having Khushi sleep outside.
Arnav is already caught between his heart and his mind. Contradictions abound between what he says and what he ends up doing. He wants Khushi to suffer say his words but his actions deny that. Quite something for a man to whom gestures mean more than words.
Nani is planning something for the couples. It is interesting to see that their attention is on the couple who eloped and married, who they thought were in love but they somehow perceive to be the ones needing that nudge from the family to resolve their issues and differences.
Ladies, you are back after a quiet weekend - and back with a bang!

finally ODB having a normal reaction - the reaction of a man who thinks his wife is a cheat a fake and is putting on an act
finally a normal reaction from ODG who is completely clueless and rightfully so.
loved that the story is finally moving and ODB is saying the right things - cruel things but right in the context of helping the story move forward - could not digest how a man who is so so full of anger (i will not call it hate) for the girl he is crazy about and it does not spill out in statements that could get her DIB to light, or atleast for hedr to start questioning
loved that he said he would not be weakened by her tears (almost like saying that her tears have the power to weaken him but he shall fight that)
loved that he, in his anger walked out, shut the door without realizing that ODG's hand was there and despite all his claims that 'she deserves pain' - he could not help but reach out to her!
loved that she asked - what the hell have i done! - am now quite convinced that the latest promo (about her saying she needs a spoon for the ghee) is about her fight to find out the truth - had a suspicion earlier when i wrote about it on the shiddat post - but after today's episode i hopeful of the track(but again with IPK i should not talk before our chickens hatch!)
SN: eeeuu eeuuu what a horrid horrid watch! - yuk - they need designers in IPK - but i guess going by IPK standards we should be glad that the watch that came out of the box was the same as in the box ;) - and gargi - yes the buttons are mismatched! :D

oh and one more thing - i hope the CVs have a good plan to show how ODB realizes the truth - the mere telling of it will not be acceptable coz he has made it clear that he believes ODG to be putting on an act. he thinks she is faking her tears

@ Dia - agree to your comments - and can only add the ODG showed her hurt so so well - her half dialogue - 'i cant believe you are the same person...' and her eyes were enough - even ODB had to back off despite his anger and all - i think for her to understand how bipolar this man is - the man she loves (which i am very sure she knows but is fighting it) how hurtful he can be was what had her quieter today than usual - she was still reeling under the shock of having lost whatever sense of balance/harmony they had achieved
Delete- to you point about if ODB has forgotten his confession - actually today's episode was the first time it made sense why he claimed to have forgotten about the evening - he does not trust her - he thinks her tears are fake and he is hurt and angry - so he cannot believe her - hence the moment of 'his weakness' where he accepted his love for her - has to be forgotten (but this works only if he remembers only his bit and that too only the part they showed as FB)

ReplyDeletepoint 1.. nani. she was the one who first plotted to bring khushi into the house. after lavanya was exposed as ASR's girlfriend, nani manipulated anjali to bring khushi into the house. it is true that khushi was blackmailed into coming by anjali... and yes, that way, she repaid the 1 lakh. (so understand that anjali can be hard when she wants to be)
nani has always protected khushi... in the beginning, from manorama's snide remarks... then from arnav's wrath... and again, always shown a bit of partiality to her even when she was an outsider and (to quote arnav,)a naukar at the house.
nani noticed arnav-khushi interactions right beside anjali.. she was not a normal "senior member of the house" oblivious to whats happening around her.
this is the background from which I suspect that nani knowing about the truth will be crucial to clearing the misunderstanding from khushi's side. at least, I expect a talk with khushi.. not now, maybe after 2 weeks.. when she personally asks ODB.. I have seen the change you made in him.. you opened the doors and thawed his frozen heart.. sure I don't approve of the way you disregarded the rasms and sambars, but he married you out of love (and he never thought highly of rasms anyway).. and I know that if he, who was never gonna marry bcos of what happened to his mom, decided to marry you, then you must be very high on his list of priorities...
okay, khushi will not believe nani completely, because she knows about the 6 month contract and the way he treats her, but the seed will be planted. that bitwa loved bitiya before the marriage.

Yes, I do believe Nani will reach out to Khushi and tell her eventually that Khushi is high on Arnav's priority irrespective of whatever he says. And if this happenes around when Khushi realizes she loves Arnav, it will be the kick in the back to fight for her lost honour in his eyes. To her it has always mattered that he does not think low and bad of her.
Arre yeh sab omnibus nahi hai. There was so much happening in the epi yday that I had to put it all down someplace :))
Jaya and Sandy, I really hope that happens, because the Nani and Khushi bond has all three essential ingredients for a loving relationship - love, trust and respect. And I would love if Nani reaches out to Khushi when she has all but given up hope on her marriage and her husband, and points out why Khushi should not lose hope. And this would be most effetive when Khushi has realized her love, but given up on his ... she has almost given up on his today, I think ...

I agree that anjali shares her wealth with TF because she'd think it is well deserved for such a loving husband. and arnav shared his wealth with her because his di is everything to him.
TF was happily living his life, with that money and long absences(on account of his job) before khushi came into the picture.
After khushi and the whole drama, (after sangeet), though, he decided that love was more important than a money tree. He decided to kill TQ and get her out of the way..no matter if he lost the money, he needed ODG in his life (dettol rinse).
after the weddings, he was in a tight place.. his wife did not die, he was gonna be a dad, his dream got wed to his rival, basically his box closed. yet, everyone could see that the newlyweds were not happy.. then he discovered the reason. it was a forced marriage. now, if that particular truth came out in the open, how will it benefit TF? knowing that A forced K to marry him, will A be forced to divorce her? is that what the snake is hoping for? is it a desire to get K out of her difficult situation? to get K out of the marriage and for himself?
so is that why he is pulling his wife along to push his nose into his brother-in-law's bedroom?

If this truth comes out / if Anjali realizes Khushi's unhappiness, he thinks
1. Anjali herself will ensure that Khushi is relieved from this bond not knowing that Anjali has seen her brother head over heels for this girl in his intoxicated moment.
2. Khushi will hate Arnav for the reason he married her. When she cannot hate Arnav for breaking her heart at Diwali, for forcefully marrying her and for constantly hurting her - how will she hurt when she knows Shyam manipulated Arnav's affection for his Di that resulted Arnav marrying Khushi for his Di's happiness. After all, did she not give in to the marriage for Payal's happiness. Shyam does not realize that Khushi will identify with teh stance Arnav took and actually distance herself from Shyam more. And whatever maybe her grouses with Arnav, she definitely will never go back to Shyam after she knows this.
3. With this constant poking, he keeps intending to remind Arnav that he cares for Khushi trying to tell him she will realize this eventually. He keeps Arnav's jealousy fanned because Arnav's jealousy and anger are Shyam's biggest weapons.
Shyam finally sees a way to have Anjali's wealth and Khushi.
And my mentos moment: Anjali now has an opening to give Khushi that letter about the kangan - about how Arnav's anger is a mask for his soft-heartedness.
Yeah the funny thing about TF is his actions have never made sense..I don't if that is intentional (whoever said that all meanies have to be smart)..A couple of epis ago, he was planning to pull wool over A's eyes to act like a reformed pati and then in the last epi, he just pokes his nose into ODB-G business, hardly the thing that would convince ODB that he has changed...i mean what was that" Khushiji aap theek hain na?(dettol rinse)....
DeleteI think TF wants Khushi out of her marriage because she will then be without a protector, and completely defenseless to his advances. Especially as a divorced, separated girl, she will be even more vulnerable. So break the ArHi marriage, and keep his own intact ... have his cake and eat it too.

Then his hurry to finish off TQ was because Khushi would only accept a legal marriage. But a broken marriage folowing an elopement makes him feel she will be more pliant, especially if he can show her how caring he is vis a vis Arnav. He has not factored in her feelings / emotions at all. Yes initially he was lost because she was married but with the marriage on the rocks he again sees a chance to have both the money and Khushi. Hence the need to convince Arnav he is reformed. After all Arnav only cares for his Di and hates Khushi thinks RRR.

She had tricked him to follow her to the poolside by saying the bangles he got her were no good. He asked her to throw them away if she did not like it. And she finally shoved it in his face that she had lied to get him to accept the fact that HE bought them, for HER. (She had hurt him in her quest for the truth). And that she had worn the bangles after all though he seemed to not notice that and kept thinking of her words.
Today Arnav keeps taking her words to heart thinking she rejects him, pushes him away not noticing that she continues to stand by him and support him. Today Arnav confesses to how she has always had power on him, how he has believed her and how her tears weaken him.
Standing at that very spot, on mehendi, Khushi told Arnav how worried she had been when he went missing. Today Khushi tells him that she will no longer care for him and accuses him of being stone-hearted.
Khushi wants to hate him but she is unable to without knowing Why he does what he does
Arnav wants to hate Khushi for what she has done but he is uaable to hide his care for her
With TF and TQ around, loved the innuendos
1. When Arnav says it is jijaji's MU - Yes TF has misunderstood the ArHi relationship.
2. Arnav says main kuch galat nahi hone doonga (not main Di ko kuch hone nahi doonga) - Arnav is already working to prevent galat from happening to Khushi

nani's concern for khushi's work.. so now the dabba service is left by the roadside. the point was home-cooked foor. if shuklaji will manage, it is again cafeteria food. so much for track continuity.
I reaffirm my point that last week was all a sham for SPA. They had pertrayed ASR and KKG as the prince and princess of star parivar..very much in love.. (the story being somewhere after sangeet, before the bindi scene..)but sorry, they got emergency-married before the SPA day.. aww how can there be a prince and princess if its all rona dhona? so they had to push in a romance in there somewhere..
so I think SP did the screenplay for last week.. made it all OTT, cute scenes, funny scenes, romantic scenes, HOT scenes... the actors acted differently. and the audience.. some were happy, they got what they wanted.. a romcom. others who think about the story were ready to take a dandaaa and march to the PH..
anyway, after SPA, everything is back on track.. if it was not that one line about shuklaji, we could have totally ignored that last week ever happened..
i wish they had shown a recap of the whole show - a story of their romance.. in flashback instead of new scenes last week. would have given credibility to the show and some rest for the CVs, enough time to make a good storyline and shoot an episode bank.. it IS okay for a 500 episode show to give a recap week after 200 episodes, right? and we would have been all primed for the romance of the SPA..
Last week ... I don't know WHAT it was! Completely haywire, all a hotchpotch ... maybe SP stepped in saying keep things all happy shappy before SPA ... TRP's will show tomorrow whether they succeeded or not ... but either the negative feedback has reached the cv's, or the cv's themselves weren't happy with the episodes and were already planning the change after SPA, the stark difference between last week and just one day this week is sooo noticeable!

SP might not be bothered about online viewers in terms of feedback, but international votes and winning popular votes does count, along with TRP's ... many of the international SP viewers are legal subscribers who contribute to ad revenues, so they can't discount that huge population. And winning popular votes of course makes a difference. ArHi won the Jodi awards on popular votes, the other voting categories were those for which SaRun were not nominated at all ... Pati, Patni, Nayi Soch ... I remember this because I voted only for Sooraj as Nayi Soch apart from my Jodi vote ... if SaRun had been in any other category, I would have voted for them.
So SPA has woken up SP to the potential of IPK, but they have to keep their noses out of the storyline and let the cv's get on with it.

4. Seeing RRR physically hurting her and badgering her - again adding to Arnav's confusion on why this man would choose to hurt her when he claims so much of love (DDR)
The best would be a Shyam Khushi face off with Shyam telling Khushi "hum jaante hain aap is shaadi ne naa khush hain. Aap yeh shaadi tod kyun nahi detin" and Khushi gives it back to him "Hum Arnavji se pyaar karte hain aapse nahin or how she will work on her marriage and not break it so easily" And Arnav witnesses this scene. Better yet records it. What would have begun for him as a proof finding mission of an illicit affair will yank the earth off from under his feet. He would have again seen and heard it all. Khushi would not know she had an audience.
And this time if Shyam tries to manhandle her, she will just give him a tight one on his cheek and tell him to shove off. And Arnav will realize how much she has let him get away with all the times he has hurt her physically.
In a bizzare twist, Khushi could leave a message for Shyam which Anjali also sees and rushes out to the rendezvous expecting to be surprised by her husband. And she chances upon Shyam and Khushi and the conversation above. She believes her husband has fallen for her brother's wife and at some level could get complexed about her personality being inferior to Khushi's.
There could be a reversal from the payash wedding where Anjali will seek out Arnav to inform him of the danger his wife is in but something may happen (maybe loses her baby) and the message never gets across. Arnav will want Khushi to leave but she will stay back to nurse Anjali.
I like 2 - Another face off between RRR and Khushi, and this time ODB overhears the relevant bits ... or like Sandy said, he hears ODG telling RRR some blatant untruth about their marriage, and wonders why she is bothering to lie to RRR when she supposedly loves him.
DeleteI still want a worried Payal-Khushi convo, where somehow they let slip that they are protecting Anji till her baby is safe, and Payal voices concern for Khushi's safety, or tells her to stay out of TF's way, and Khushi says she's trying to ... all this to be overheard by bitwa, of course.
Does Bitwa think that Payal and G family are unaware of the Khushi-TF rishta (DDR) ... has he not connected the dots about TF being the fiance? Maybe that should come up ... Payal let lose a snippet that Khushi was unwilling for the rishta in the first place, and Bitwa start wondering why Khushi was crying about her fiance hurting her. At least the thinking process might start.
And our old shiddat ... Payal tell Arnav that Khushi only agreed for her engagement on Diwali night after returning from RM ... and she was most unwilling all through.

The connection about Shyam teh fiance I somehow see it happening from Anjali's end. She was more clued in at that time. She could raise the conversation with Payal (even in terms of khushi's unhappiness in her marriage because of some remnants of love from the engagement) and Payal hurriedly explains to her about how Khushi was forced into it and actually suffered a breach of honour resulting in the broken engagement. And may Anjali talk abotu how great her pati Shyam is in comparison to Khushi's ex-fiance Shyam and may Payal make awkward looks. Arnav needs to see adn hear this whole tamaasha.And then some of the FBs can roll in.
Agree to the first ... so if Payal lets on that she knows something about Shyam, would that ring some ghanti? And are they giving us a firmer, less weepy Payal only as filler while Sanaya is away, or are they actually developing her character slowly? Bearing in mind that Arnav and Payal do share this relationship of quiet mutual respect. It would be a way to start some thought process in Arnav, if Payal is also shown to be slightly uncomfortable around Shyam, or at hearing him praised as ideal husband ... she needs to show that, though, she hasn't yet shown it.

The broken rishta has not been analysed by RM folks at all...Bitwa has not been shown paying any attention to the matter after he was informed of the broken engagement, almost as if that "prani" who was her fiance was some alien.

DeleteNahi they better not leave it alone. As Arnav's confusion about Khushi and her reactions increase, if you add this snippet about the engagement, it will completely boggle him. It will give him a solid reason to distrust Shyam completely.
There are a few ways they can get Arnav thinking on those lines and lighting some bulbs there.
It tells him that just like him Khushi is hiding something and he will want to know Why? He gets angry very good, gets jealous even better - and there will be a chance for the kyun fark kyun padta hai track all over again.
don't aske me to make sense of how it will fit in now. depends on how these guys go ahead.

Perhaps a scene for Payal to admonish Khushi to stop doing such acts now that they are married. In the past what she did for Lavanya was ok because it was hers but now she should not.
And onemore snippet for Arnav that Khushi realizes his love for plants. And an opporuntiy for Khushi to come say sorry (oh man!post barsi gazebo scene but Khushi saying sorry this time around) for unknowingly hurting Arnav's emotions. Agar humain sach paat hota toh hum aapko is tarah chot nahi pahunchaate (oo lots of innuendos possible if they do the scene right)

yes i remember her saying on the phone that she got advance.. maybe she got the loan because of being KKGSR.. though she would not actually use the status, normal people will give her the status automatically..so when she asked, they would have given her the loan without exactly telling her why she was getting it.
