So Khushi's dimaag, once kick started by jalebi-making frenzy, continues to fire ... what was that "she hurt him" all about? Could it be Shyam and her engagement?
And she has to be careful ... can't make any false moves, Anjali's pregnancy, Payal's marriage ... too much is at stake.
Anjali, Mami and RRR discover the jalebi pile, RRR lets slip about Khushi's jalebi making habit when she's stressed, Mami, as razor sharp as ever, questions aloud where Snakewa acquired this little piece of general knowledge ... TQ also remembers that she never told him this ...
And a sweating Snakewa gets reprieve from an unlikely source - a stone-faced Arnav ... I told Jijaji. Who adds for good measure, in case Shyam missed the point the first time round ... after all, Khushi is my wife ... I know everything about her.
Am trying to figure out ... apart from the neighbourhood dogs and cats, is there anyone to whom Arnav hasn't announced in the recent past that Khushi is his wife ... in that very assured tone? For the man who announced that he wouldn't ever give Khushi the stature of his wife, he isn't doing a very good job. The only person he now really needs to say it to ... is Khushi herself ... but he needs to pick a moment when she won't bite his nose off.
Arnav adds, as Anjali and Mami leave to watch the wedding video ... chalein ... (pregnant pause) Jijaji? Meaning ... Khushi is my wife, you're my BIL ... and never the twain shall meet .
I am so glad to see Abhaas back - Arnav now picking on Shyam and keeping the fake love for his wife. Which, now that she has cottoned on to, is not going to be a cake walk for him ... so let him enjoy his victories with the Resident Raizada Reptilewa.
A loud saas-bahu scene of the family (minus Arnav, where did he go?) watching the wedding video, and Mami complaining at her non-starring role, and stomping off in annoyance, leaving Payal (as usual) in tears, Akash (as usual silently supportive, which doesn't mean a thing) and Khushi silently upset.
Another forgettable scene of Payal trying to manao Mami and Mami informing her she was on a diet, so no thankswa ... Akash (as usual ditto above, Khushi as usual ditto above).
Whoops, correction, Khushi doesn't stay silently upset for long - she tries to do something about the situation ... and Payal seems to have forgotten she was upset with Khushi, she needs her chulbuli sister's support too much! Good to see the bubbly chirpy Khushi back in action, making her hare-brained plans ... the little touch where Khushi goes slightly teary at the reminder of Buaji showing that she still hurts, but she's back to doing what she always does - hiding her hurt ... because her sister needs her.
Interesting dialogue by Payal ... get me thrown out of here, then Sasuma will be happy ... will Khushi use that idea? Her dimaag is twisted and crazy enough ...
Operation Kheer under way ...
Mami sniffs the kheer ... send Anjali to investigate ... Anjali slightly friendlier to Khushi, asks her to keep some kheer for Arnav ...
Khushi asks, he went out ... Anjali replies, no, he's back ... and Khushi wants to ask her questions again right away ... she's not going to give up!
And the kheer is going to be burnt ... except for Arnav's share ... ;)
ArHi ... Khushi goes running to find Arnav, bumps into him ... another wardrobe malfunction :D (I think she's giving him hints she doesn't like his clothes! :)) ) And Arnav ready to blast, sees Di watching and goes into HMC mode ...
Loved Sanaya's expressions here ... disbelief, incredulous ... who are you and where has my LG gone? ... then getting all caught up and tangled as an unbelievably gentle flirty Arnav feeds first her then himself, wipes a morsel of kheer from her lip ... and utters an incredibly corny line ... the sugarless kheer tastes sweet when fed from your hands ... (duh, of course it does, she put artificial sweetener :p )... but instead of ringing alarm bells, Khushi seems to get more lost ( this girl is going to be such a pushover for him ... she has no defence against the lovey dovey Arnav) ... until she chokes ...
And Arnav forgets his act and jumps in concern ... Khushi! You okay?
Cry Wolf ... she catches a glimpse of the watching Anjali and cottons on instantly ... the expression of hurt accusation she gives Arnav was amazing ... snapped out of her dream mode instantly ... she pushes his water away firmly and stands to face him with hurt dignity ... it's okay, you can stop acting now, Di's gone ...
It wasn't an act ... at least the last part, his concern wasn't ... he steals a guilty look up to see yes, Di's gone ... but he can't say that.

Truer words than she thinks ... he looks back at her, then looks away, just the slightest bit ashamed, but not apologetic ... yes, he did, and he would do it again, if he had to ...

Khushi ki gaadi nikal padi. Lakshmi (now DM's replacement) is sounding board. What is this hurt? Is it teh engagement (we got that spot on too)? But how does Arnav know she wonders. I need to find out.
Happy that she continued to hold that thought about Arnav's hurt being related to the RRR ODG engagement. Don;t dismiss it.

Bitwa's concern was genuine but when you cry wolf too many times, the real acts also go unnoticed.
But that scene had it been real would have been so Hayyyyeeeee

Yep, I think the whole kheer melodrama is for that - Khushi challenges Arnav and then the kheer fiasco hits - Payal burns the kheer, Manorama cries wolf, my DIL is trying to poison me, Akash is spineless as usual, and Arnav Khushi rush down after the challenge and Khushi has to back off quietly ... similar to the scene when Arnav manaos Mami for Payash wedding.

The epsiode as such was total filler and build up to the 2 hr promo??....I'm so glad about the precap...I've been going on and on about how she should call his bluff-no one will let him ship Payal off!...and finally it looks like she will...Good for her..
On a separate note...during the kheer sequence...found Khuhsi's response to Anjali damn cute and wifey...
Anjali tells Payal...chotey ke liye..? and immediately khushi very proprietorially opens her mouth to respond (little mutual on the sadda haq aren't they?) but then keeps quiet and lets Payal answer...
Also loved Khushi's expression at seeing Anjali...indignation, little heart ache and mostly What The!!...
Arnav is quite sly ha...does everything he wants to then goes old cold and clammy on her. Not nice bitwa. when she returns the favour and walks off what's betting you'll be way more annoyed than she is with your hot and cold duet..
SN: we asked for 15 minutes of Arhi got 15 minutes of SP manodrama and Payal...ugh..okay I know they can't have 22 minutes of Arhi...but I do hope they don't focus on Payal's tormented dukhyaari bahu stuff too much with the kheer burning and all...Little advice Payal...be more like Khushi- lets find a solution..we already have one tragedy queen ...don't need another..

DeleteI agree this drama is aimed at that only.....else so pointless....Khushi's dialogue that Akash loves Payal and subsequent challenge to Arnav is done without her knowledge that it is Bitwa who actually helps Payal in this issue.. Khushi will be all set to leave and Akash/payal will come to thank THE BHAI and "bijli" falls on Khushi...poor thing and she will be forced to eat humble pie....

When Khushi saw Anjali, I went OUCH ... her expression as she saw Anjali and instantly realized the reason for the PDA ... hurt realization, and then covering her hurt with that dignified comeback ... DeleteEven I don't think he got carried away during the PDA...its only when she coughs that he drops guard which is absoutely Arnav...he can't see Khushi in pain...definitely not in his unguarded moments.....Its actually a classic build up, becos he starts to act but involuntarily stops acting when khushi is in pain. In fact, he doesn't even realise that Anjali had left the scene..its so evident in his reactions, he looks up almost as an afterthought....
Dia, I agree that saccharine sweet Arnav is difficult to digest..esp in this avatar...I said this earlier, in a way I am glad, CVs had started to show the flirty Arnav else I can't accept Arnav acting in this manner. Its something like this, a person wh has never danced before and he turns out a whacko jacko performance the first time he is on stage...diffi to stomach. But in this case becos of the slight backgroung, the charm that Arnav turns on is still "edible"

Arnav can never fake concern for Khushi (repeat effetc pata hai toone oopar kaha hai). His Khushi are you alright and handing her water was very genuine and when Khushi moved his hand, he was as stunned as Khushi usually is in these scenarios.
Btw,he needs to realize Khushi is siding with him and heling him in his naatak to maintain image of HMC and keeping TQ destressed
1. Khushi lied to Anji about Pag Phere going ok - sided with Arnav
2. Today she kept quite though she realized he did the whole kheer thing for Anji
However much he hurts her, she is still batting in his team - bitwa menthos moment kab aayega re tera!!!

DVD seems to have been a red herring. Bua's red lehenga only played a symbolic role to indicate Khushi getting married as bua said Khushi could wear it on Payal's wedding day.
The DVD and camcorder harping seems to have been an indication of something that would happen. Only thing worthwhile in it was that Arnav was missing - as maami rightly guessed with personal marriage. Also there was a shot of NK filming on his cam. So if someone thinks to ask NK for that recording maybe it will show some delusional monologue of Shyam

The moment I saw Khushi push away Arnav's hand in the CU, I knew what was coming and I made the header for this post :)))
Ok, my prediction after reading all the above comments -
Payal burns kheer (well, duh) ... Mami goes ballistic ... Akash silent spineless hero, goes to Bhai (he promised Babuji he would look after Khushi, didn't say a word about Payal - knew if he looked after Khushi, Khushi and Arnav would look after Payal - shmart boy ...
Arnav steps in with Mami as usual, and overpowers her poison but in private, Mami tells Akash in public that she is keeping Payal here only for Akash's sake ... weeping willow Payal comes to give Khushi her gift and tells her that Mami was mean but Akashji saved her ... Khushi issues her challenge to Arnav, secure in the knowledge that Akash will back Payal ... and Akash comes and thanks Arnav, spilling the beans ... Khushi has to back off.
Ok, this part is predictable ...
What is not ... will Arnav's dimaag ki batti jalo, or will he feel that Khushi was ready and wanting to leave the marriage because she wants freedom to be with Shyam?
Will Khushi keep badgering him for the reason or will she keep investigating?
What will happen in Holi?????

Remember during the Sangeet ceremony ? I remember seeing this exact smirk on his face many times before. That may be the reason he is smiling rather smirking during the Precap. Just a few more hours to go.

Just managed to see precap again. Is it just me aur is there a break between Khushi saying "I ma not afraid of your empty threats. Do what you want to" and "Isliye shaadi todke jaa rahe hain, is ghar ko chod ke jaa rahe hain" Is it possible that the precap is patched?
Also she turns and pauses at the end. Did she see something on the dresser?

ODB is the complete dude - he fixes it all - (now ODB is also the one who fixes situations - a match made in heaven??)
SN: Am pretty sure when ODG looked at Akash the first time Payal cried in today's episode and he just sat there (after the viewing of the dvd)- she must have thought of her man - bi-polar, short tempered he may be but he is a man, will not sit quiet while people abuse his wife, am quite sure she must have thanked her stars for that :D
Precap is interesting - could have something to do with the kheer getting burnt - things being all melodramatic and saan-bahu type till ASR steps in and sorts things out but i also cant help thinking of a crazy idea:
i have feeling that tom's episode - the challenge could have something to do with the payal-MB situation at present - I mean Payal's comment 'send me out of this house and my MIL will be happy!" could be an indication of what may happen - after all Khuashi has a 'khurafati dimaag (as payal calls it) and may be she is doing something to help her jiji?
plus - in the precap - it is not clear that she is saying "Hum" yah shadi todr kay ja rahey hain... the 'hum' is missing...
Mona even if she compared, she would not acknowledge it in her present state of mind.

filler episodes like these should be better planned by the cv's .. the whole DVD drama was a filler, and just a teaser to keep us on tenterhooks over the past weekend. I think today's 15 minutes went manuuuu ke naam.
ReplyDeletewith everyone else, I am so glad to see RRR back on screen and looking hot. when he was waxing poetic about khushi's jalebi making, there was some sacha pyar there.. and I flashed back to the time he went and tried to make her stop making jilebis.. one elaborate scene in which he was quite the charmer. (over then I had thought that he married anjali for the money and then fell in love with ODG, so would prob'ly plan to divorce TQ and marry bitiya..) ((shudder))
p.s. I hate that crow sound that comes with mamiji now.. afterall, ASR once vouched for her selflessness. then why the drama-giri? she talks bakbak, but she is harmless..and loyal.. and observant. please stop the crowing. please.
Akash has always been quiet.. he was happy to accept Payal's first "no". we have to accept that he will always be that way. He has great respect for ODG and I guess will support her more unknowingly than knowingly. like some random comment... like the pagli one.
in the kheer scene.. SN(great thread up above, too much hassle to prove i'm not a machine everywhere, so writing here : raizada house laundry bill would be far higher these days :)
ok.. in the kheer scene, khushi is totally hypnotised and rabba ve-ing... feeding him kheer must have been one of her fantasies ;)
but did you guys catch the blooper? after the 'bina cheeni ke meetha" line, the two camera angles show him feeding her with his hand/her hand... I saw that the second time, it was a lol moment.
and then, "khushi are you okay?" (blush) Zoya ki VM ki yaad aa gayi.
but then, her disillusion.. and hurt.. the rabba ve bubble broke.. and the hurt..( sanaya, you rock!) and the anger and indignation..
and his answering rainbow of expressions.. uff these two will kill my sleep even with 2 minutes of dialogue-less screentime. don't talk to me of the big C.
honestly, i liked the precap. I am getting awfully tired of the automatic doormat mentality of TV bahus. I mean, once you're married, do you HAVE to do everything your husband wants? his izzat, his sir..ODG, previously established as a firecracker, definitely shouts at him /of course privately, bcos HAVE to keep the maryada/ why should she keep up the natak without due reason?
Can we have a wardrobe makeover for KASR plz? Some nice sarees, maybe gauzy chiffons with lovely chikankaari for the day and some hot looking bright chiffons for the evening which will drive LG over the edge...and some sexy blouses. Lets lose the girly puff sleeves with the pompoms! As Mrs ASR, she needs some polishing up! She does not need any other jewellery except the mangal sutra!

In both the cases, it should have been Payal who should have taken care of both the things, She should have told Akash rather than asking Khushi and She should have checked before leaving.
SO I am curious when Mami is exploding, what route Payal takes?
Will Payal give away Khushi saying, I asked her to, so it is not my fault

Will she quietly accept responsibility...Yes i should have been more careful
That for me will indicate what we can expect from Payal in future.
Shwetha, I think today's epi will drag on the kheer till the last 3 minutes. everybody's closeups, payal's waterworks, ASR stepping in, etc. I don't think a change of saree comes till next day morning, right?or maybe bitwa and bitiya went out somewhere in the evening?

@HAA and Gargi - i so so wish what you say comes true - she should be the one initiating the HMC scene when RS is around and am pretty sure she will have ODB eating out of her hands in no time - just like she has no power against the soft Arnav (can only fight ASR)- he has no power against her either - would love for her to play him on - he needs a taste of his medicine!!
@ all - so so agree - Make over in charge - please please do something for the couple - they are beautiful people with the worst gift wraps ever!! horrid sarees and bad jewelry and now that she is married she can only have her hair open - what happened to her plats and ponytails??? (minus the things hanging in her hair of course! - very imp otherwise how does ODB open her hair!!) And his wardrobe - the less said the better - just look at KASR's reaction - she keeps tearing, spoiling your clothes for a reason!!!
PS. why are the CVs so cheap - they should have gotten real kheer at least - not just rice in milk! the kheer had such big grains of rice - am sure it must have been BAD! could tell from ODB's expression too :D

Mona, , the whole production house approach to their clothing is suspect.. for a show that started with a helicopter scene and a fashion show, the settings sure look shoddy. did they spend their whole budget on those?
ReplyDeleteI think La was the only one who got a good wardrobe.. in the western style. (her indian salwar uniform were gyuk) . I remember Barun once saying ASR has only 2 suits :P ...Though they look mighty fine, especially the pants he wore yesterday;)
and, like one of the peeps mentioned before, the Guptas had outrageous wedding finery.. yet KKG got the green duplicate of the rabba ve red saree for the rabba ve dance.
personally, i like the pompom-wala blouse. adds to her character.
I hope the jewelry takes a hike. 1-she does not need them; 2-the gupta sisters were poor we all know that! its okay.. spend the prop money on clothes, not accessories!

DeleteOk here is a random some thought. According to me Nani/Mama will step in to save Payal. While in the bitwa's room bitiya challenges him of leaving, bitwa confident because he feels that he can still cash on her emotions thru TQ, LQ or even the worst RRR.
ReplyDeleteI still think ODG is going to reply back and leave the room only to find NK going out for a shopping before he leaves. So our bitiya with all her dimaag goes shopping while the Payal comes to give the pag phera gift, bitwa finds her missing. RRR is still at home so he gets confused and starts worrying, searching the streets again.
Or other hand I so wish ODG hides somewhere in RM hopefully on the terrace watching the stars speaking with her parents and our bitwa keeps searching on the streets that would be the best. Missing their terrace and stars interactions.

On one hand he is nreaking Khushi's heart. And his genuince concern for her is going to be misconstrued as fake later.
On the other, if he has been lying about so much to his Di, why will she believe him now if he reveals KP's truth. She will be inclined to believer KP over Arnav.
Will this whole sequence result in:
A bond of trust from Arnav's end to Khushi at the expense of Anjali's trust in him?
The holi promo has 2 cute clipping of our jodi. I adored the scene where Khushi looks over Arnav's shoulder and he turns back in his chair to look at her. Can they just share the whole thing they shot just to soothe our eyes.
SPA promo - wah wah! no wonder we see so much drama. But I am hoping they have another one..cos if I recall from the SBS clipping earlier, "there was that whole Arnav Khushi holding hands and Khushi leaning back for the bit on aasan nahi hota ....bin aapke" Or did they shoot it wiht all jodis and edit it as they wished? Even here they should just relase the whole thing yaar just for fun.

Pretty much wrote what i felt about the episode in Sush's thread on the forum.. so not going to repeat everything here. I'm quite curious about the precap, WHY is Arnav so confident? He had this big huge smile on his face..its confusing.
I like Aaru's idea. I don't want another typical Khushi-lost-and-Arnav-finding-her scene.. yes, the concern and worry is worth watching but we've had too many similar scenes to that.. so i'd prefer Khushi not leaving, but staying away from everyone at RM. Not finding her anywhere, Arnav may ask his Di or someone, who wouldnt have seen her either.. and he thinks that she actually left, and he goes helter-skelter trying to find her.. all the while, while she is at RM itself. Maybe we can get another confrontation scene *dreams*

Iwant the concern and worry and more so the simple interactions where they always connect thru stars their parents. that one link that is so true of which they are aware of. both can't fake that connection and in this drama around i so want that connection.

Loved mami today..she is quite an entertainer with her own style of walking and accent....remembered Gul's interview where she had mentioned that mami and Payals saas bahu saga will be kept comical.
Kushi got her sis back..good...now today will be all about burnt kheer saga. Fake PDA..I didnt mind...these two have always faked everything ..before it was hatred now its love..chalega..as if I have a choice.
That smirk of Arnie...tauba tauba itna ghamand...Diya you can add some mileage there..hehehe..I so want to see the same smirk disappear the day kushi leaves RM and goes out of his life.

Hi Gargi, Cant agree better about his hot looks when he smiles...for the first time I have come out and criticised Arnie..so please bear with me..Diya knows about it much better*wink*..hehehe. Somehow the way he smiled today I felt was so much for it to disappear when she really walks out...ofcourse I definitely prefer this over the fake romance:) ..dont know how it will really play out...yes why was he so sure about that she will not leave..so something should have happened between that..and kushi doesnt know know the equations at RM..she still doesnt know that Arnav holds the reins. What I feel is CVs may be showing this so that kushi feels that Payal will always need her so she cannot threaten him of walking out and then the CVs can proceed with the next story.

Depending on how that precap plays out, more miles will be added or deducted from the RTR ;) ... but yes, I wonder how it will play out. I don't think the 2 hour thing will be there ... I would dearly LOVE for that smirk to disappear for a while though ... let her walk out, even if it's just to buy sabzi!
I guess this is to ensure Khushi stays on at RM, otherwise, sooner or later, it would strike Khushi that Payash marriage is a done deal, Arnav has no hold on her any more and she can walk out any time.
But I agree with Gargs, I've always felt he enjoyed their challenges ... she holds her own with him and that's what he loves about her, especially when he wins ... and even more when he helps her to win ... case in point, the sangeet. And I think throwing that line about her hurting him, and seeing her so worried about finding out what she did, is in a way soothing his anger slowly, that it proves that he DOES matter to her, that she got so worked up about hurting him that it's all she's thinking about. For one thing, he also got that out of his system ... it was eating away at him ever since he saw her with Shyam, now he's told her that and handed over the problem to her ... I think we'll see him lose that bitter edge now ... just in time for Holi ... and if we're lucky, we might even see his brain start the return journey home after the break.

DeleteBased on the precap, do you think the words used in the blackmail promo will be modified when the actual scene plays out ..Arnav is not seen as threatening..just challenging KASR...so the need for the 2 hour challenge may not even arise?
That KASR will be forced to eat her words due to the situation, thereby not requiring LG to actually issue out a threat..It will be a fait accompli situation for Khushi, she realises that Payal's marriage hangs by a thread and therefore decides to hang around ( martyr as always) and LG has the last laugh without even saying the BLACKMAIL words
In a way, to me this is preferable over the promo threat...coz bhaiya how many miles to add to that RTRW? Kahin Arnav Timbaktoo na pahunch jaye, phir KASR ka kya hoga?
BTW, not sure how to read the NK development...how is it going to help story? Or Is there one? Pagal hone ki naubat aa gayi hain..
Frankly NK kay honay se na honay se zyada farak nahin padega..cos he was missing for the last 2 weeks, but when he is there you can expect some light moments and he can shut Mami up, Khushi could use a friend and Bitwa, god knows what his reaction will be?

So I'm sure when the Shyam truth breaks, Mami is going to again point fingers at the Gupta women ... and blame Khushi for phansaoing Shyam, or even worse, blame the entire Gupta family ... so Khushi's story will not be believed very easily, even if Garima, Payal and Buaji back her up completely.
Dunno if Arnav will also believe her, but this will be thrown in for sure.
