1/7 - Epi 133 ... Bloopers galore!

Edited - Very quick take ... there were more bloopers than actual track today!

The tracks being set up ...

The stalker track. Understood - there is a man out there who is stalking Rudra and Paro. He is probably a mole in the BSD.

Bloopers - how did he get cameras installed inside PaRud's bedroom? A job which takes the best part of a day ... how was that done unnoticed? Big blooper!!!! It would have been more than adequate if the stalker had pics of PaRud's time outside the haveli ... eating ice golas, shopping for vegetables ... having cameras inside their bedroom is downright creepy!

Rudra doesn't want Paro to know about the stalker. Fine, acceptable - protective Rudra.

So he romances with her, forced kiss, distraction with talk about honeymoon ... what the heck are the editors doing, cutting the PaRud scenes so badly and obviously? The editing is going from bad to worse! And again ... why are they rushing the track? Shouldn't Paro be a little more traumatized by the acid attack?
Okay, she thinks it was a random attack ... shouldn't Rudra be more creeped out by the fact that someone got into the house, INTO THEIR ROOM, took the doll from his wife's bedside table ... shouldn't he be sweeping the entire house with a toothcomb to check for clues? And he's got a threatening letter ... shouldn't he post BSD guards at the haveli? Considering the haveli houses not one, but two important state witnesses! Is he really depending only on Maithili and Mala?!
Also, where are the two men, Dilsher and Danveer? Shouldn't they be told about the acid attack too?

Mohini wants to get Samrat re-married. Fine. Been wanting a parallel track for ages.

How exactly does she plan to get him to the mandap? Drug him? Even a bhondu like him just might smell a rat if she asks him to attend a wedding as guest, and then sit in the mandap in the place reserved for the groom.
And what was that Shatabdi girl? Does Mohini really want her as a DIL? That would be actually fun ... to see Mohini deal with a DIL like Shatabdi ... pity the girl is 31, otherwise I would wish for her to end up married to Sumer. The two would be a riot! Wait, how does it matter if she's older than Sumer?! Let Mohini's plans backfire, and Shatabdi end up with Sumer ... it would bring some major comedy into the show!

The only nice thing was the way Rudra is getting over his anger with Mala ... the need to protect Paro overriding his bitterness of so many years. And good that Paro, after the initial push, has backed off ... she's stopped trying to push Mala down Rudra's throat, instead she just shoots a few barbed ones now and then, to let Rudra feel that yes, she's on his side ... and hey, he doesn't really like those barbs ... so he avoids shooting any barbs of his own.

And the cute part was Paro teasing Rudra about the honeymoon ... so she's ready to go on a honeymoon now that the first shock of Mala's appearance is over and Rudra is cooling down towards her.

  1. Just when I thought things could not turn creepier, i was proved wrong, forget about taking Paro's doll, looks like the baddie had got camera installed in the couple's bedroom.. EWWWWW.., looks like this guy is best friend is none other than Shayam ji, dhayya ho!! ;-))
Its Vishal Karwal alright, as the new villain, it was his voice in the precap, used to watch one of his serials before- Bhagyavidhta on Colors, his acting and dialogue delivery was ..meh..., but will see maybe he has improved, everybody needs a second chance in life ;-) Plus it looked like a uniform that he was wearing and was he in the BSD office when he was looking at the pics on the laptop? Certainly looked like that room specially with all those certifications on the wall!!!
Waiting for the precap to play out.
On the lighter side I hope shatabdhi 'express' does become Mohini's DIL, she is best suited for Sumer. I have a feeling that she will derail Mohini's plans for sure! :-)
P.S. Dia have a nice time with your guests, Enjoy. :-))

    1. Lol MB! Your dhayya ho brought back memories! At least Shyaamji had people come in and install the cameras on a pretext. With so many family members (and growing) in the house, how does someone install cameras? Even Paro - Rudra do not get that kind of privacy. The bloopers and sloppiness is glaring.

    2. And not to forget that there are two BSD guys in the house ;)

    3. The cameras in the house is a HUGE blooper! And they didn't need that ... the stalker could as easily have had pics of Paro Rudra together outside the house too. This was stupid!

And where is the other BSD guy anyway? And where is Dilsher? Why is the security of Paro entrusted to Maithili and Mala only?

  2. Didn't watch the epi yet. So, there is camera installed in their room, huh? Waise darne ki koi Baat nahi hai. Kyon ki big C itni aasani se nahi hoga. :D have to wait for four more hours to watch the episode.

Dia: have a good time with your guests. :) :)

    1. Talking about Big C even Paro was hinting the same, on the lines of Rudra having to wait for his honeymoon for 108 years!!! Will not give more details, and spoil the episode for you! ;-))

    2. Lol, that was the only cute part of the episode ... Paro teasing Rudra! Madam is ready for the honeymoon now for sure!

  3. The following is what I posted on IF and feel this track if handled carefully might lead us too. Boy! The CVs are again letting bloopers and editing problems slip by!

Navin too had an interesting post few days back talking of the various relationships and their dynamics changing due to this threat to Paro's life and Rudra's need to protect the most valued person in his life. It will thaw him towards Mala and strengthen his relation with Mythali. Trusting these women with Paro's safety is HUGE for Rudra.

Once the crisis is over he maybe able to rest his demons about his mom and have a workable relationship with her and Mythali will have strong supporters in both Rudra and Paro when Mohini tries to harm her. It closes the loop when Rudra scolded Paro for getting involved in and supporting Mythali against Mohini.

In all this we have to remember the work put in and brick bats Paro took to lay the foundation for Rudra to take a step towards Mythali and Mala. She made him apologize for yelling at Mythali for throwing mirchi into her eyes and constantly fostering her and his relation with jeeja. With Mala she made him think about the different side of the coin and giving basic respect to an elder of the house, even if she is considered a guest.

The one loophole today was Rudra not shown worried that the stalker was inside the haveli at night and invaded their private space. Thought the script should show him more concerned and vigilant about it and him wondering if their is an insider supporting the villain. Of course there were other bloopers too.

    1. Uma, that was a big blooper for sure ... Rudra not worried that a man actually entered not just the house, but their bedroom ... just staying next to Paro 24/7 is not going to be helpful.
I was reminded of the laddoo track, when Paro stayed with Rudra, but also conducted the investigation into the laddoo poisoning ... she seemed much more careful, and covered all bases better ... I used to crib that the writers are writing Rudra better ... but it seems they are actually writing Paro's common sense better, they just gloss over her emotions. While they write Rudra's emotions better, but gloss over his common sense and intelligence! *Sigh*!!!!

Yep, the changing dynamics between Rudra and Mala are interesting, and are being done well ... Paro has done the ground work for Mala ... she made it more about what HE was as a person, rather than about Mala ... about respecting an elder etc ... and now after the first shock of reverse psychology, she has backed off, and maintains a modicum of politeness with Mala, just enough to be acceptable, yet no warmth ... and Rudra actually finding he doesn't like that very much. So he goes out of his way to make up for his wife's behaviour ...

Again Maithili ... from the time when he told Paro off for supporting Maithili and Samrat on the adoption issue, said it's not their business, he has come a long way ... again all due to Paro. Maithili emerged as Paro's and PaRu'ds biggest supporter, especially during the separation track, when she told Rudra about Paro's vachan, and prevented any MU by Rudra as to why Paro was leaving him ... his changed attitude started from then itself, when he came back and touched her feet. Now with this Samrat's re-marriage track coming up, he will back Paro 100% to support Maithili, and prevent the remarriage.

So the tracks are interesting, and the foundations are well laid ... they have their basic story well in place, and are going according to it ...but the execution is TERRIBLE!!!! They gloss over the details, forget to fill in the cracks and as we have always said, they forget to put in the emotions of all concerned, especially the female characters ... and now they've started glossing over Rudra's emotions too.

I still see Rangrasiya moving towards a September finish.

    2. Well said Diya.

Lol...the toss up between intelligence and commonsense...so true...

The way they show Rudra, "bahadur" means all brawn and very little brain.

  4. Oh of course this stalker graduated from Shyamu's school of villain giri. He is in the same force as Rudra?!!

Shatabdi was a respite from all this darkness.

  5. 108 years !!!! Poor Rudra and Poor viewers.... ;) It was an ok episode. Well paced. So, the Samrat remarriage track has started. Not sure if he will bow down to his mom's wishes.

@Uma: Like you mentioned, looks like the stalker track has after all two advantages. It strengthens the bond between Rudra, Mala and Maithili. With Mala, he has to anyways reconcile. Maithili's only support in crisis would be Paro. If Rudra bonds with bhabhisa, then it is an added advantage. Felt good after watching today's episode. Yesterday, I was frustrated because nothing made sense to me. Neither the stalker, nor the mangled doll. Chalo, atleast we got to see good things happening in today's episode.

Bloopers ka mela ban raha hai.... We wait eagerly for the bed fall scene after watching the SBS segment, only to be disappointed. Even the kiss scene was not properly edited. The SBS segment was far more better than the actual scene in the episode.

    1. You are absolutely right Madhu. Bloopers, bad editing and bad shooting- was it just me or were there blurred shots and bright spots again?
      Very disappointing.

  7. nice episode today! but bloopers galore , the whole track seems sloppy and a bit rushed. one thing that bothered me from last week's episode: when mala tells rudra on the phone that someone attacked paro with acid, he dropped his phone and ran! then he had his phone again at the end of the episode to call Aman to find out who did this!
again the milk blooper, when it was made such a huge issue previously that Paro can't drink milk, how could they just have her drink it?
then today the hidden cameras. hope they backtrack and explain retroactively how those cameras got in there, The show was very tight in the beginning and rarely did silly things like this come across
some of thee silly bloopers remind me of tracks on IPK that also were really sloppy :( Nevertheless it was a nice bridging episode into the next track, which i agree, if handled well could really do great things.

  8. one more thing to add: i do like how they are gently moving mala and rudra closer together without any pushiness, although i don't think the reverse psychology is really working as much as tincture of time....

  9. Looks like Dia's prediction about RR shutting down in September might come true if they keep on repeating such mistakes. As usual they are rushing the tracks. Talking about this is like beating around the bush. No conclusion can be reached. I am unhappy because this is happening to sanaya's show. And it is not only an insult to the viewers, but also to the cast of RR. Lots of talent going to gutter. I would seriously love to do some jasoosi to find out what went wrong with the show. Well, this is the only show I watch. I hate to see the show being sloppy and loose. Sab Trp maiyya ki kripa hain.

    1. I think they got on the back foot from day one when the opening TRPs were not as good as they expected. Ever since then, and especially after the first month, the writing has been sloppy, the tracks have been jumpy, and the emphasis has been very lopsided. I think we started grumbling within three months about the over-emphasis on Rudra's pain ... he had breakdown every two weeks in the first three months.
This has been shot like a movie, the speed is similar ... in movies too, the falling in love is equally swift and silly ... but the difference is that a movie wraps up in three hours, so you don't expect that much attention to detail. You see the broad picture, you get the entire story in three hours, and it's done. Here, in a show, we live with the characters day in, day out ... we identify with their emotions, so when the characters go haywire, we can see it instantly.

My main crib is again ... why this happens with Sanaya's shows only? Or does this happen with all shows, but we identify with her more, so we see the jumpiness in her shows ... we can ignore it in other shows, because we don't empathise with the characters so much?

Trp maata thodi si kripa kare, trps thode se stabilise ho jayen, so that the makers can slow down a bit. Or else, the show will wind up ... and we will wait for Sanaya's next show.

    2. @ quote, My main crib is again ... why this happens with Sanaya's shows only? Or does this happen with all shows, but we identify with her more, so we see the jumpiness in her shows ... we can ignore it in other shows, because we don't empathize with the characters so much? - this is the truth, because we are all, at least most of us are Sanaya's fans and feel she deserves all the right roles and accolades, so we are emotionally attached to a certain extent that's why the bad feelings & unhappiness surrounding it. There is no doubt about this whatsoever in my mind. :-(
Just think back about any last serial other than Sanaya's which you found interesting, are you still praising or interested in the the story still? Your answer will solve all the problems. :-))
