Episode started with a plug for Shastri Sisters by Sunehri, Paro and Shantanu ... thought Shantanu would ask Sunehri about Paro being an orphan ... but he didn't.
Maithili spills the beans to Paro with very little prompting ... Shantanu conveniently overhears, and sees this as a golden opportunity to cement Rudra's trust, by helping the family. So true ... even more so as anything which makes Mausam kakisa annoyed, will win him major Brownie points!
So Paro and Shantanu take off ... kidnappers were really caught napping on this one ... as they conveniently left wallet with picture of Samrat and address of delivery ... all at the kidnapping site. Giftwrapped, as it were.
Kidnappers seem to be closely related to Sumer.
Guess they knew Paro and Shantanu had only half an episode to manage the rescue. So they made it easy for them.
Paro and Shantanu land up at the wedding venue, where the guests are also wondering about the rushed wedding ... bride is getting antsy about her missing dulha, the venue, among other things ... Paro gives her phone to Shantanu to put on silent ... just as Rudra, in a five second appearance, calls ... of course Shantanu doesn't take the call. This is his chance to earn Brownie points, he's not going to lose it.
When did Rudra present Paro with a phone? Why were we not shown this major event?
And then they wonder why the TRPs are not rising.
Again very conveniently, Sisodiya sahab scolds the henchmen in Paro's hearing ... so PaSha follow henchmen ... rescue Samrat ... and Paro is held at gunpoint.
Cut to Mohini ... Sisodiya calls and tells her the wedding is accomplished ... Mohini delighted ... tells a relieved Maithili to get ready to welcome Samrat home ... Maithili dutifully prepares thaali, just as sehra-covered groom enters the doorway with dulhan ...
Mohini gleefully tells Maithili the truth ... and invites her to view the bride ... and the groom ... Bride tries to interrupt, Mohini shushes her ...
Maithili tearfully looks at the groom ... and keeps looking ... till Mohini also turns to look ...
At this point, I fell off my chair laughing.
Flabbergasted Mohini demands an explanation ... Sumer wants his gag removed first ... he has a point.
Sisodiya appears, and takes over the story ...
Shantanu rescued Paro from gunpoint and the three made their escape ... Sisodiya appeared and apparently he had no idea that Samrat was married already ... of course, duffer Sumer revealed that major event by mistake ... Sisodiya decided his daughter was going to get married, come what may. He'd paid for a bridegroom, and by God, he was going to get a bridegroom.
So Sumer got married.
Dulha bik gaya.
And Mohini has a new DIL.
Precap promises major PaRud romance ... but that's for tomorrow. Tonight I want to rewind Mohini's expressions and laugh.

ReplyDeleteLOL, the new DIL already looks like she had got loads of sass, going by her facial expressions, and along with Sumer its going to be comedy galore ;-)
I always wanted the two to get hooked up, but I was left guessing as to how Sumer will end up marrying Shatabdi? Serves Mohini right, oh including Sumer too, he was enjoying way too much in getting his brother married for a second time.
Shantanu continues to impress all the ladies and looks like he will be everybody's good books now after rescuing Samrat, oh excluding Kakisa and Sumer of course! Hee... Hee, can't stop laughing today. The look both these had in their faces today..
Its Rudra alright in the precap, and we are in for major romance Dia? Is this a SBB/SBS News again? Wait.... its okay don't tell me. :-)) ;-)
Forgot to add, so V K Singh thinks Rudra needs psychiatric help to deal with the problem at his hands but suddenly he is fit enough to control the tension at the border??!!! In fact because of his ongoing problems in his personal front how will he be able to concentrate on the decisions he has to take now?
Not SBS/SBB news ... just my feeling ... after two episodes with barely any Parud, they will have to give us some PaRud tomorrow, and it was definitely Rudra in the precap. Plus Major saa would be annoyed that his biwi didn't pick up his phone. So he came running back home for the night.
DeleteAgree with you ... with his personal problems on his mind, how can he concentrate on any border issues? But VK Singh didn't send him there, Aman called him about the problem, and Rudra decided to go. Very confusing, and playing with his character a lot ... but all because of JDJ.
The episode was hilarious ... even my hubby stopped to watch Mohini get her come uppance! I'm going to enjoy this new DIL ... she will bring some comedy into the show.
Ashish will be missing even more now onwards ... two performances every week on JDJ. Just hope they give more screen space to Paro ... they will of course give more space to the SuShaMo shenanigans!
So it looks like this JDJ is going to go on for few more weeks, so till then they are going to drag around the story/ plot already established with of course a little bit of romance ka tadka and like you mentioned more of SuShaMo shenanigans ( waiting to watch them actually!! )
DeleteAnd most importantly Paro picked up the Danda again today, and she was back in full form, she shows, she is no damsel in distress, in fact she is helping hand to drive away the goons!
Plus when Vishal was mentioning to Paro about 'pakdu vivahaa' is it? / forced marriage at gunpoint- I remembered his previous serial, the whole topic on the first season of it was on the same issue and he was the victim to a similar marriage there!! :-0
Sounds like a hilarious episode. Just read the written update. My wishes have come true. :D I can sleep peacefully today. Can't wait to go home and watch the episode.

Woohooo!!!! Another track on the way. SuMoSha. :D :D :D What goes around, comes around. If only, I had not watched the SBS segments..... It was an entertaining episode. I wish the CVs make full use of this comedy track. Mr. & Mrs. Sumer, Mohini can entertain us for sure, if the script is well written. Aur Shanthanu baisa bhi hain. Kisi aur ki zaroorat nahi. Like Dia said, this is one good chance for the CVs to show us Paro's thought process. They can make the show female centric, as Ashish will be busy in JDJ.
ReplyDeleteInitially, when Samrat never opened his mouth for anything, I was really scared that he would buckle under his mom's pressure. Thanks to CVs for not letting that happen. And things were in his favour today. Even though he was kidnapped, he was rescued in the nick of time. Thanks to Maithili, Paro and Shanthanu. And Sumer bana bakra. :D :D Hoping that we get to see some fun moments in the show.
About the precap.... Like everyone, I too have a feeling that it is Rudra. He would be back to check on his wife, since Shanthanu had the calls from Rudra. Is the big C happening tomorrow or on Monday? The CVs have already delayed the big C. And Ashish would not be available on a full-time basis for another 7 weeks or so. So, I am hoping that we get to see the big C tomorrow. Otherwise, there would be a huge gap in the plot. And please everyone.... Mohini Kakisa, maasa, Shanthanu, Chooha and everyone in the Ranawat parivaar..... Please don't do anything DUMB, STUPID to interrupt them. Rudra will be going to the border on duty and will not be with his wifey. Please hum par meherbaani karo.
Finally.... Where is Shwetha, when the show is so interesting? Today's episode was just like one of Shwetha's ULTA decodes.
That's why I say try to stay away from watching SBB/SBS it spoils the excitement of watching the actual episode!! ;-) :-))
