Thoughts -
There have been so far three defining moments in terms of ArHi's feelings for each other
One - Diwali, when Khushi discovered her feelings for Arnav, and had them crushed the same night, buried them and refused to let them surface consciously. Her subsequent actions often were dictated by those feelings, but she refused to face them or give them a name - Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? .
Two - Wedding night, when Arnav saw Shyam with Khushi on the terrace, his drive alone into the middle of nowhere, where he faced his feelings for the first time, and also buried them the same night under layers and layers of hate, and refused to face them. His subsequent actions were dictated by those feelings - marrying Khushi was because he loved her and couldn't let her be with Shyam, his not questioning Khushi was also because he loved her and couldn't bear to hear her say she loved Shyam ... but he refused to face them or give them a name - Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?
Three - Khushi breakdown on Thursday 17th May where her feelings finally surfaced again, she could not bury them any longer and had to finally acknowledge that she loves Arnav, despite everything he has done to her.
So now I am waiting for
Four - Arnav's breakdown, when he discovers exactly the same thing - that he loves Khushi and cannot hate her despite thinking that she loves Shyam.
Now according to the promo, he says ILU to Khushi. I don't know whether he has already had his mentos moment, or whether he says this only as a warning to tell her that he is in danger ... either way, I want to SEE him have that realization the way Khushi had hers. It can be in flashback, it can be in the future, but it has to be shown.
and
Six - Arnav's realisation that Khushi loves him .. that she never ever loved Shyam at all.
And this should happen without the other having to say it ... because like I always said, she wanted the words, but she never understood that he said everything with his actions ...
and he has already got the words from her, that she hates Shyam, yet he is still to let his heart believe them ...

DeleteKhushi's feelings for Arnav - I think they kind of crystalised this last week, and Anjali's words were the final straw as it were. So she has more or less accepted she loves Arnav and her love is hopeless, because he hates her.
I think next week will build on Khushi's worry coming to the forefront, as the family finds out that Arnav never went to London. They might wonder whether he decided to take off because of his mom, then debate whether he would do that when he had fixed a meeting ... and Khushi will get more and more worked up that she's sure something is wrong. Culminating in the phone call of the promo.
So Troubled, Worried, Frantic ... Panicking ...?
By the way, did Mishti confirm that Shyam is behind the kidnapping? The more I think, the more I like the possibility of there being two parties involved ... Shyam was supposed to take the papers for somebody - maybe to check their authenticity?
Haven't had a chance to look at the fb's again ... will do on Monday, tomorrow will be busy day again ... now I'm intrigued - what are you getting at? ;)

Oh by Khushi's feelings for Arnav meant her felings for his disappearance (talk abt half written sentences. Like this week was all about her emotions, next week it will be emotions mirroring her concern over him missing..I was trying to guess tiles ;))
As for the FB's - well lemme give you the rough picture in my head:
They are not in the sequence they occured yet from Nani's dialgue to him releasing her hand from his could form the flow of a new thought. Each FB would need to be looked at not for itself but perhaps for the dialogues just before or after that scene. Its there in my head not very crytallized yet... (Plus I have still not watched the last weeks epis properly)

DeleteI lived in Mumbai for a year as a newly wed, and loved it, once I got used to the distances and the traffic. The place has a buzz to it ... but it does take a while to get used to. Hope you settle down soon, and make some friends - that's the key to enjoying any place. In the meantime, we're here na ... rant all you like!!!

Hi everyone. Came across this blog some time ago and been religiously following it. Hope to interact with you more since work is going to get less. As for the promo, i think Arnav is kidnapped. Had he not been, he wouldn't have looked so defeated. But i don't want to break my head over it, my predictions are never true haha.

ReplyDeleteJust caught the epi this morning and was all out day and struggling with a pathetic slow net connection.
So quick thoughts:
Villainwa is back to being villainwa, good, that means Khushi finally will see the ugly side of him and kick herself for giving him so many chances.
Bubbly will be bye bye soon good. Liked how they handled it. So the whole Bubbly track was for cementing relationship between mami and payal.
Promo - Mehhhhh...For the droolers. Unless Arnav caught hold of bunch of kidnappers and told them I will pay you to kidnap me cos I want to punish myself... It is him taking a time out to figure things out first.
I will really whack cvs head if they show Khushi rescuing Arnav or Arnav recusing Shyam. Both are individually capable of tackling hiM.
OUSTING him, they need to work together as a dream.
AND now is the BEST TIME
FOR Payal to come into the picutre and realize about Shyam. So hopeuflly we might just see that happening soon.
Akash payal suck as couple, as siblings they rock, so hopefully they do that.
I will continue to watch and support the team but till Barun comes back 24x7, the writers have their work cut out to give us their best...which they are giving.
Shyam creeping Khushi is an excellent move cos they need the audience tuning in the family one atleast ans SP bahu battling villainwa is always a winner.
AND IN THE MEANTIME, i hope they are also working on Barun's entry which should be spectacular.
Barun Go live your dream and full support here, but after you come back I expect 200% commitment and concentration from you, yes you can take days off for post production, promotion.
This break from ASR should do you good and get in back to the groove for being ASR.
Let us be blunt ASR has not been ASR since the farak padta hai track, not Barun's fault but somewhere all this crappy writing seems to have indeed taken the zing out of ASR.
Barun has been exemplery as an actor, but as ASR there is work to be done 20% from hte actor and 80% from the writing and directing team.
P.S. - LOL LOL, I am kinda grinning at the sudden attention and pr for Arshad Khan, he deserves it ofcourse, but time for paying back in kind to all the free PR your supporters gave you by giving us topnotch work.

Shweths, I would still be vacillating between kidnapping and taking time off but for Bitiya's tension. She is SP bahu ... which means that if she is having premonitions and nightmares that patidev is in trouble, then patidev is definitely in trouble ... and she has been saying kuch gadbad hai since day one. So am sure he has been kidnapped.
DeleteSpoilers were that Khushi rescues Arnav, I hope it's a joint effort, because right now she needs rescuing as much as he does :))) So am sure it will be a three way showdown with the papers sharing centrestage with Arhi-S.
And a mastermind puppeteer pulling Sham's strings - now I'm strongly rooting for a faceless mysterious villain behind the scenes, who will bring up the next track of Arnav's past, once ArHi have satisfactorily kicked VLR to kingdon come!

Bitwa figuring things out - hmm wud have been ok if it was only his Mum's bday but there is that meeting in London for which people flew out and ASR is not once to change his mind on the fly. My fav dialogue of AD in the movie..."Kya aurat ko kabhu rakhne main hi, mard ki nishani hain?"
in fact the entire sequence between AD and Rajiv Verma is really beautiful.......nothing dramatic but the scene underscored what a true hero really is....
Coming back to IPK, even if VLR is behind the kidnapping, ODB cannot consider ODG to be part of it becos she had always been telling not to go to London, hope he will remember that!!

If EVILWA behind the kidnapping then ODB does not know yet. The day he comes to know will mostly be the day that 3 way showdown Dia mentioned will happen.
And yeah Khushi had no time to plan anything os she was at GH all the time with ODB and then came back only to wait in his office and keep pleading with him to not leave - if cvs try that odb suspects her complicity in this then grrr!!
Ahhhhhh, I remember My friend and I went for the movie around Interval, we were oh she probably will choose SK and post interval whey they were in Italy, We both turned and were OMG AD...how did this guy become so awesome? Lol.
DeleteFor now, the promo is sinking in very slowly… It feels a little out of place and ‘distant’ because we have had absolutely no news of ASR and everything as of now is based on speculation.
ReplyDelete1. Will they show an introspection track for bitwa?(Bitiya’s was very delicately done- and beautiful edit by Dia). Or will they make do with the 2 minute introspection scene in ME and suddenly spring him on us with the ILU call on friday?
2. I hope that phone call does not mean that ASR has given up trying to escape and that call is like a last wish being granted or something.
3. I still wish ASR’d get out on his own without anyone’s help. Please let it be that he acts brainless only when it comes to K and can very well take care of himself!(esp. if the kidnapper turns out to be Shyam)
@Sandy,if Arnav gets to see those signed will papers won’t he wonder how his signature got there and remember furiously signing off some papers that K had brought.
I don’t want Khushi to be the one saving ASR. My theory is based on some spoiler some time back which may not be reliable. Its just that a series of unbelievable spoilers have come true like K getting the will signed(I pooh pooh-ed it and see what she went and did!) and ASR getting kidnapped.

Like the last time, this tim EVILWA will try and again tell Arnav that see she does not care for you (thwack u VLR). But is baar kuch aur bhi hoga that Arnav will have to end up realizing that VLR is lying unlike the last time.
If somehow the papers go missing and khushi realizes it, then she should delete the pics from her phone. Or why doesn;t she go thro the pics and find out Oops, Did I just get him to sign a will handing over Shyam everything, and then her doubts on him will get confirmed.

I want ODG to go thru the pics too, but she has not thought why Shyam was in a hurry to get the papers or why it is so important.(She had read the documents and still has no reason to believe it was switched.)

Agree with U, evilwa will tell ASR, not sure if he will do it now or save it for later.

DeleteIf Khushi wants to not have anotehr MU with AR, she shd delete it after she realizes what the papers actually were but she may not. When EVILWA loses the papers or rather Khushi finds them thanks to Lakshmi, he may snoop her phone and silently transfer those pics to his phone so he can still have a bargaining chip over her and not let on to her that he lost the papers because he told her he never found them in the first place.
When things reach culmination and EVILWA is almost ready to kill Arnav or perhaps becuase he lost the papers, he will release Arnav as he would need those signatures again. Meanwhile Khushi now suspects EVILWA (thanks to Masala Mama making some comment a la Baazigar) we will have a EVILWA - Khushi confrontation.
Arnav who has come home / escaped?? would have been doing some thinking and could be in high alert mode and snoops on their conversation where he sees the "nafrat bhari nigaahein" of Khushi when she blasts EVILWA for trying to hurt Arnav as she now knows what the papers are. EVILWA ever the Gloat will happily and merrily tell Khushi how his master plan has succeeded, how everything will be in his name and how Arnav will never believe her now because he saw those phone pics of papers she got signed and how he has destroyed her marriage and her life is completely messed up beause she cannot turn to Arnav and she cannot divulge anything to anyone.
He starts walking towards her and she starts walking backwards towards the edge of wherever they are standing. Khushi at that point may choose to disclose to him that she has the Will papers with her and that he can now choose if she wants the papers or her. Ofc EVILWA will choose the papers and just as he is getting it from her, he decides to push her / let go her hand so she falls - as he cannot have her neither can anyone else.
Arnav is too stunned to react but by the time he does, Khushi has fallen and hurt herself critically and then the glorious dimaag can come back in full form, RTR of 100,000 kms can start and so can tyhe love story. Khushi is sick Arnav deems himself unworthy of her and keeps away finally realizing
how fate had indeed played him well and proper and he will collapse in front of DM begging for Khushi's lif because there will be no other hope...
Alrite if any of you is chucking stuff at me, please designer brands preferred and do not ask me o explain reasons and debate loopholes because I have written it as it came and ams ure you will blow it all away in a apoof of logic.....

ReplyDeleteLet me throw in my prediction. It does not look like he's kidnapped, It is more like he's gone in hiding and figured out everytihng about VLR.
It will be hard for me to accept the mighty ASR being kidnapped and then rescued by his wife. Please CVs, hope you do better than that .

Tanvee, I felt he didnt say ILU at all, had a feeling they dubbed it as ILU when he might have said something else. Will have to catch a good quality promo, then can be sure of it?
Deleteyeah, after watching the promo closely, i agree that it doesnt seem that he's saying ILU...and even khushi's reaction is different...kind of stressed...but who knows, the actual scene differs from what is shown in the promos...i personally felt that the ILU lacked the expected arnav-khushi intensity...hope they show it differently in the actual scene...

DeleteWe are so used to seing the two together in all the frames, now ASR and Khushi seem incomplete without each other.
Anniversary ko goli maaro, it all depends on when Barun wraps up his shoots, from the looks of it they are mostly shooting his part cos checked kav's tweets, he is in Bangalore etc..so my whole funda of 10 days per guy holds and there will ofcourse be some combined shots of the others, let us see.
ReplyDeleteThe more I think about the promo, the more I am convinced that Arnav confessed his love to Khushi as a completion of the last scene (the HR scene) which was etched in his mind when he left her. His life is definitely in danger. Maybe whoever had kidnapped him is not letting him take his medicines or feeding him on time, either because they are unaware of his diabetes or are purposely doing it to kill him. He looked quite drained. Before he faded away he wanted to confess his love to his woman.
ReplyDeleteHe has never stopped loving her even when he felt betrayed by her. I don't think he has realised she is innocent as yet. If he was kidnapped, his mind would have been occupied with several other things (including how to get out) to be looking back and trying to connect the dots.
I don't think he was trying to warn her that he was in danger. Given his temperament and his king sized ego, he'd rather die than be saved by a woman, least of all one whom he believes has betrayed him. Yet he bared his heart to her because he thought he was never going to see her again. That HR scene was a powerful reminder of just how much he really loved her. He didn't care if his love was right or wrong, considering what he believed her to have done. All that mattered was that he loved her and he did not want to die before confessing that love to her, even if she may not deserve it.
Ironically if he had any hope of living maybe he may not have confessed his love and exposed his vulnerability to her but as he thought he will never set eyes on her again, he could confess his deepest feeling to her. He may have also been reminded of what his Di had said about letting a person know how you feel before it is too late. For a man anticipating his end, it is already too late and he couldn't hold back any longer.
The only thing that can shake him of out his resignation to his fate is if he comes to know that Khushi is in danger. Now how will he come to know of it? We need to wait and see.

DeleteI guess I'll have to admit that yes, he would not want to put her life in danger. The guy couldn't bear to see her hurt by a needle prick. But I also feel that he would also not want to be saved by a woman, being the typical alpha male he is. He was unable to digest the fact that it is her medicine that got back his voice. So a combination of the two factors would not let him seek her help in case he is in danger.
You may be right about Khushi not hearing his confession which means that she will still be in the dark about his feelings when the MU clears. Even if she had heard it, she may feel something is amiss and take it as a danger signal from him rather than a love confession.

Me feeling sad that Khushi will not have a way to check if it was indeed Arnav saying ILU or something else...we the viewers will have a chance to pause, rewind, pause.....but poor Khushi how will she do that on her phone? she will not believe her ears when Arnav says those words....

DeleteI am fine with a plain 'I love you' because I thought there was intensity and pain in that short confession, which if Khushi was more receptive, she would have caught on. 'I have always loved you' would have been better but under the circumstances, even this admission is something remarkable coming from a man who does not disclose how he feels to anyone. Moreover, a more full blown confession where both admit how much they feel for each other, irrespective of what they thought the other did, will come in due course. The timing is not yet ripe for that.
I loved the dhaga scene which again under the circumstances was appropriate. It was a forced marriage and she made it clear that even if it was forced, she will hold her end of the bargain, no matter how much it hurts. Those words did hit him where they were meant to. She held on till the task was completed and then she snapped the thread, leaning forward, close to him, showing that when she snaps the ties with him after the stipulated 6 months, she would have gotten so close to him that he will shatter at her loss.

My thoughts - I'm pretty sure he has been kidnapped. If he was going into hiding, he would have cancelled his meetings. He knew that Anjali and family wouldn't worry for the first day because he always goes incommunicado on his mom's bday. So he took care of the office people by telling them he's coming one day later - now they wouldn't wonder why he wasn't on the same flight. And he was planning to go somewhere else.
Now I don't remember (will have to watch again) was the flight announcement for Mr Raizada for the London flight specifically? Or just for A flight?
Maybe he HAD decided to investigate Shyam a little more thoroughly after Khushi's story. Though why he had to fly anywhere for that, I don't know - he should have started in Laxmi Nagar. But anyway ... maybe he was to fly to Lucknow ... and the PI he hired to start the investigations either sold out to Shyam or was a double agent or a plant by Shyam in the first place, or by the mysterious chachaji (am not giving up my theory about the Blast from the Past yet!)
So Bitwa is picked up from the airport itself, goes unsuspectingly with the man he believes is his PI ... explains the ease of kidnapping.
Now the kidnapping is with intent to kill, but the kidnappers want to make sure the will is in order before bumping ASR off. Hence they are holding him captive. However they don't want the family to raise any hue and cry yet or it to get known that he is missing. Maybe Shyam did NOT know about the London trip at all, he just knew that Arnav always goes missing at this time of year, and Anjali will not worry about him for a day or two. So he didn't factor in the London office raising the alarm so soon.
But Khushi is worrying ... so the first message is to Khushi to reassure her, and not to Anjali. And a normal hubby to wife message - I reached safely, love you ... very common, except that it's very UNcommon for our lovebirds.
Again, this makes more sense if there is a third party involved, who doesn't know the truth behind the ArHi marriage, and thinks it's a normal marriage, AND that party is using Shyam for their own ends - a bargain - ok, you can get the will done in your name, and we want the man.
Again, Shyam is not in constant communication ... the person holding ASR sees the repeated calls and messages from Khushi, and realises someone in RM is getting worried too soon. To ward off that worry and buy time, finally he allows Arnav ONE call, but warns him not to say anything that might raise the alarm, otherwise his beloved DI is in danger of her life ... Di or Khushi, ... whichever ...
So Arnav has one chance - he knows if he calls Di, she will worry, he doesn't want her to worry, besides Di is stupid - he would have to literally spell out that he is in danger for her to understand anything ...
so he calls Khushi ... and he has to tell her something that won't make the kidnapper think he's sending a hidden message, yet something that will alarm Khushi and make her realise that something is wrong ...
For this, I feel he doesn't know that Shyam is involved in the kidnapping in any way as of now - otherwise he might not trust Khushi either. And the reason for saying ILU is both that it's a message to her ... AND that he's saying something he really wants to say, in case he never gets the chance again - the HR scenario. "It doesn't matter what was said between us, what was done by either of us, all that matters is that I love you ..."
And the reason he DOES want to warn them at all is because they are all in danger, not just him, especially his Di ... I don't know whether his ego would be too big to stop him from asking for help from Khushi, but just in case it is, this would override that reason.
DeleteThe wicked chachaji angle might work here, because he would know that it's not only him but also Anjali at risk ... that would make him desperate to raise the alarm.
But again, if it's only Shyam, then Shyam would have to say something about Di being in danger, to make Arnav worried enough to give Khushi that message. Alternatively, he realises that Shyam wants Khushi, also discovers Khushi is not involved with Shyam and therefore is at much vulnerable to Shyam as Di is ...
This was in response to Opti's theory that he is too much an alpha male to accept Khushi's help ... he would take it if he felt Di or Khushi were in danger ... Khushi only if he knew she was innocent.

Meanwhile kidnapper does not want family to go to police right now.
Gets the goon/ chacha/ rival to hold a gun over ASR’s head (at a long distance since the gun is not there in the promo) and reassure his family.
ASR calls up K, starts with a seemingly cool “hello how r u?, gives a hidden message ”ILU” which is delivered in a funny manner because ironically that is the truth!!!
Hopefully he’s had his mentos moment too.
I feel if Shyam is the kidnapper he will not reveal his identity.
He should not, knowing how all his plans so far have failed.

And he was called away citing an emergency in teh family - Khushi had an accident or Di fell sick or something and then was held against his will stating harm to be inflicted on his family. And as to it being unASRish to get duped well banda was in a very troubled state of mind after all - previous day humongous showdown with wifey and letting off all teh load of the hidden burden of the reason for marriage. Then his mind has been churnign all that he saw at GH and what she told him plus her being desperate to prove her innocence - all that tuumult filled his head and he did not think too much when he was told some family member (I am finger crossing) Khushi was in danger.
This forcefully being held will have given him time to think about how despite it all he still feels pain on going away from Khushi and how his feelings for her are as solid as ever.
And this absence is sort of going to be the Guest House inident equivalent for Khushi.
Abbey oye, Sandy, I spent quite a bit of time at Redux trying to defend that indeed if he takes off for some sanity, it will be the best thing to do. I am all for Time out for Arnav and Khushi.

Somewhere it is undermining the work of the rest of the actors and crew who is still working hard to put out a show at 8 pm. So got a bit mad there.

Yes I am also enjoying the good performances and good story writing for now because it is engaging and it has always been what drew me to IPK.
I still do not agree with you that Arnav has gone off to self introspect on his own. To me he has been forecfully held by EVILWA or EVIL CHACHA and the self introspection if any is going to be just faint flickering of battis here and there while worrying about Khushi and the family and thinking about how to escape.
Him going into self-introspect ala that nani line about the peetal ka bartan will happen when he actually has another ambulance moment with khushi actually being hurt, him having heard the extent of vileness from EVILWA's mouth (because he still listens to that what that creep tells him when it comes to Khushi) and finally that HE AND HE ALONE is responsible for Khushi's condition - her near death, her ruined dreams, her broken heart, her pain, her tears..Imagine what kind of a roar this man will let out that day. He would tear the very skin from his hands that he claimed wrote his destiny for what was this destiny that he had ended up writing for himself. That day the EGO that is ASR will shatter and the Arnav will emerge once and for all from that shell - taking all the blame due him though no one will lay it at his door and that day he will repent, that day he will believe..
From that day on his belief in Khushi will be unshakeable. She will indeed become his North Star - his Dhruva Nakshatra, his moral compass. She will become his strength and when it next comes to a choie between Khushi and his family, he will unflinchingly choose Khushi however much it may crush him..because his love for her is so deep and extensive that any price he needs to pay for HER HAPPINESS will seem miniscule to him..

ReplyDeleteFrom the look of place from where Arnav calls, I know it can change as it is shown in the promo, But it is the same place where in the earlier episode the Stranger deleted Kushi's message from Arnav's phone.
- It's a dark place
- It has a Table Fan
- Have chair and Table
- There is a Stranger along with Arnav who has access to his mobile!
From the above clue's it can be
- a Police station or any Govt. office
- small Hotel room
- uninhabited building
So the reason for Arnav to be in any of the above 3 places
1. He is Kidnapped (by Shyam or any of his business enemies or his Uncle)
- This is what Most Spoilers says from the beginning.
- Since he is a business tycoon and has many enemies , this is definitely a possibility.
- But if he is kidnapped, why kidnappers are trying to hide it from his family alone ? Khushi got a message that he has reached London. But this is not informed to his London office like he will not be coming to London !
- From the dream she had, normally SP heroin's will have a sixth sense when their dear and near's are in trouble. So Arnav Should be in some kind of trouble.
- But why kidnapper gave mob back to the hostage ? Or did he get it some how from the kidnappers !
_why the kidnappers are not asking for any Ransom ? or do they have to get any signature directly from Arnav and held him for that ?
- But in this scenario why is he calling khushi and confess his feelings for her
2. He is arrested by Police or any other Investigation agency
- I think this is a rare chance as he don't do illegal things unless he is trapped
- Except the place he is in I cant think of a reason him to be arrested
3. He is hiding by himself
- From Nani's childhood story about Arnav, is it a Sign that he is hiding himself and getting punished himself ?
- Has He got some proof about Syam's reality and khushi's innocence ?
- He is hiding in that place so that nobody will think ASR to live in such a place and never come there in search of him ?
- Has he planned to give himself a punishment and before that he wanted to confess his love to khushi ?
- Then who is the other person with Aranv who deleted that message !! Is he the same person who called his name in Airport ?
Oh I have so many thoughts running on my head ...Never tried to solve such a clueless puzzle :(

quite simply the Ph is buying time until IPL for any further dhamaka and apart from that lead MIA...
The PH will know which way to turn this story..after this promo is played....hopefully....

I don't think I will be able to digest a replacement ASR. In that case will peacefully quit and watch reruns on YT.
Plus I have very poor expectations of peopls's skills in scribing interviews on IF bar a few. No grammar, lousy word choice and bhagwaan only knows what other bakwaas. Also, BS seems to be parrotting the lines each PH gives him. I mean like someone here said, a guy who was media shy until recently, is suddenly so media active - BAKWAAAS IMO!
This seems to be MM's way of ensuring people watch their stopid film..I am kinda already resolved not to watch it.
As for 4lions, they have smarlty made a wise move in releasing a bumper promo and keeping shut about it for now. The story is there and I agree with Dia that BS leave at this time was granted cos they could afford to and because teh story did not need him for now (tweaked it perhaps else we were all anyways beging for a separation track!!) I am hoping that they show some self intro from ASR from this missing period but honsetly after that road breakdown scene, it will be a letdown to see another guy crumble when he realizes what he has done to Khushi.
Sometimes I wish I had never heard of IF. U open the forum to see if there is a worthwhile post and BAM all this KACHCHDA hits u in the face...

Honestly, now I just want him to leave the show ... yes, ANY halfway decent actor CAN play ASR, because the character was very well written ... and ANY good actor will bring his own strengths to ASR the way Barun brought his, and can make it his own ... so Barun Sobti, don't get too swollen-headed too soon!!!
I wish I hadn't seen this interview - it put me off big time! I always said I don't think Barun is going to go off from IPK if he has any sense ... the only problem is, does he HAVE that much sense?
The only good thing this interview did is to put me off the buy ... so if he leaves, I will actually be quite happy and will be more than willing to give the new actor a chance. Only Barun did say he's not leaving yet ... the problem with that is that his movie is obviously his first priority now ... so how much time and effort will he give IPK?
And my last note on this ... if IPK shuts shop, I hope and pray that Sanaya gets a new show pronto ... and I will follow that ... because she has at least shown that she can carry a show on her shoulders, she has been carrying IPK all through ... and that she is loyal to her show and doesn't get swayed too easily by sudden fame and fortune!!!

Dam if they were for a Replacement- only thing they had to do was from this episode - instead of BS as ASR so and so will be replaced for so and so reason... nobody would have known what hit them, and the juncture where he is missing it wouldn't have made much difference, because viewers would have been more interested in knowning who kidnapped or he went by himself..
OK not going there again.. whatever is instored, will take as it comes , think need to go back to my logical analysis !!

DeleteSanaya is well off with JDJ even if its next season. Sans has always said that they would prefer JDJ than NB. As much am fan of JDJ i hated NB expect the first seasons- Hussian and Tina.
Agree, I'd prefer JDJ ... Sanaya will hone her dancing skills with a choreographer, and I'm not a fan of NB. Besides, Mohit is an adequate dancer, not a great one ... and he's short for Sanaya as a dance partner.

Barun, all the best, hope your movie does well, so that you can make up your mind and finally leave tv and IPKKND.
They will end the show Dia, they won't go with a new ASR as of now cos frankly Barun needs this show now more than ever. He needs to be in the public memory till his movie releases.

Sanaya is hugely popular, so another show for her will not be difficult. I hope 4 lions already sign in Sanaya for their new show.
4 Lions will sign Sanaya for sure ... she has proved her acting skills and her loyalty both ... as it is, this is her second show with the same PH, and Nissar has a lot of faith in her ... well placed, it seems.
DeleteYep, they should plan to wrap up by December - the good thing in that is, once they have a definite time line, they will keep the story fast paced and crisp, good for us all, and if they go off on a high, all the better the chance for them to come back with a bang.

I don't mind if Barun is doing the show or some one else, Just need an actor who can portray ASR character well and have good chemistry with SI.I need a meaningful story to watch. It's IPKKND which give all these fame to Barun. He should have been thankful for getting such a role instead of telling anyone can do ASR role! Is it bcoz the interview is shoot by his movie promo, he talked in this way ? I always found him down to earth in his previous interviews and this was a big put off !! Some how now I am strong to imagine a new face for ASR :(
ReplyDeleteGoing back to the SBS today - and to the show - so Khushi tells Nani that Arnav is missing. Good thing ... I was worried she would try to solve the entire mystery herself. So the only people in the dark will be Anjali, and Shyam - of course that's if he is not involved!
