And the story continues to progress ... slowly and steadily. Nani and Anjali, sweet and understanding as always, organise Khushi's trip to London ... blooper, you need to sign your passport forms, Khushi ... although visa and ticket can be organised by remote control.
Shyam is perturbed and furious about Khushi's trip, and tries his darndest to stop it.
Khushi gets call from London office ... ok, the guy did say he called all the AR offices, and got no response to where ASR was, so maybe he presumed ASR's wife would be the only person to know, if even Akash didn't know.
Khushi hides the truth from Anjali, but good thing- in the precap, she tells Nani. So she wants to hide it from Anjali, which is great for two reasons, it makes sense she doesn't want to worry Anjali, and she can justify hiding it from Shyam as well.
And the Bubbly track was wrapped up well ... Bubbly confessed herself, so All Izz Well.
Also in the precap - MM overhears, so will he be the one who lets it out to Shyam? Because Shyam has the devil's luck. Or does Shyam know already?
Still not fully confirmed that Shyam is behind the kidnapping ... though it's seeming more and more likely that he knows something about Arnav's disappearance. He wants to stop Khushi going to London for sure ... because he's sure she will find out that Arnav is not there? But doesn't he know that the office will raise the alarm sooner or later anyway? Or does he want to stop her for any other reason?
We may be able to do without Arnav, if he's going to play the abla nar, but we will soon need another hero ... maybe a new hot hunk to help Khushi in her search? She can't do everything alone ... or can she?

Mercifully short ending to the Shyam Khushi scene, where he warns her to find the papers, she fires back that she knows he has them, and that she has not an iota of trust in him at all ... thank God Khushi has finally gotten his true colors. Although she hasn't got the whole picture yet ... Khushi, he keeps harping about the importance of the papers, you have a photograph of them in your phone, take a look at it, there's a good girl! Yes, I know you think you already read them thoroughly before giving them to Arnav to sign, but Shyam's insistence on their importance should ring a bell and make you wonder if there was anything you missed ... so you need to take another look.
But the gloves are well and truly off between Shyam and Khushi - they don't even pretend that there is anything but enmity there now. And lust from Shyam's end, of course - even there, he is now not bothering to mask his true intentions.
Bubbly makes her exit, with a small spat between Akash Payal, sign of things to come? Akash blasts Payal for encouraging Bubbly to hide things from him ... and also misunderstands that Payal has a problem with Bubbly - he believes the truth only when Bubbly says it herself ... again, a mirror for Arnav? That he will believe the truth only when he hears Shyam say it ... never Khushi?
Really wonder if he even deserves Khushi in that case. But then again, Khushi did make the first mistake - of hiding the truth about Shyam in the first place.
Family bids goodbye to Bubbly, Khushi still lost in her thoughts, stumbles, VLR wants to help, but she manages herself, with a 'if looks could kill' glance at VLR ... 'hum theek hain ... jeejaji.' pointedly. Did Nani catch the anger in her eyes? She has to hide it quickly ...
And Anjali guesses rightly who she's thinking about ... Shyam thought it was about him ... DDR ... well, even if it was, it wasn't happy thoughts for sure.
So Anjali and Nani have organized for Khushi to fly to London to be with Arnav because she's missing him so much ... a good plan, and really sweet of them as always.

Okay, we decided that Khushi's passport had been made for Bali already ... otherwise passport in a day without Khushi's signatures?
Khushi knows that contrary to Di's and Nani's thoughts, Arnav will not be pleased to see her at all - she needs to tell him it was their idea or he'll be angry with her as usual. So she calls to tell him ... again voice mail ... again foreboding, what is wrong, why isn't he picking up the phone even after so many calls? It's good she's going after all ... once she sees him, sees for herself that he's all right, then all this anxiety, this unexplained tension will disappear.
Khushi ready to leave ... fond farewells all around, including Mami ... who tells her to stay alert and listen to the safety instructions otherwise there could be danger :) hidden meaning or just Mami with her usual nautanki?
Nani says it's Khushi's right to surprise her husband ... so Nani will support whatever investigation and plans Khushi makes ... Khushi again says she will manage on her own ... Mami again warns her to stay alert ... Payal tells her to remember her parents whenever she feels scared ... All seem to be pointers for Khushi's investigation track coming up, and that she will be in danger at some point ...

Liked the way Khushi spoke English ... had that 'Khushi' touch of not being fluent and the slightest accent, as though she had been learning newly and was still not fully comfortable ... not Sanaya's fluent tones ... well done, Sanaya!
Khushi returns home in a state of turmoil ... she makes some excuses to Anjali and Nani about why she didn't go, looking very apprehensive and worried all through ...clenches her hand on her bag as she says she won't go to London ... she has to make some story for Anjali, and make it believable, till she can digest what she was just told in the car ... and notably, doesn't look at Nani or Anjali in the eyes as she tells them that her Amma and babuji nixed her travel for a week. A sure sign she's lying ... is that what Nani picks up? And the excuse - samay sahi nahin hai ... the time is not right ... again, a pointer to danger for Khushi ...
Anjali, of course is all into right time, wrong time ... How come Anjali doesn't know when Arnav is supposed to return? And hasn't spoken to him yet? And is still not worried about him? Even in the face of Khushi's worry?
Khsuhi replays her call ... from London, Arnav was supposed to be there, but he never reached, never took the flight, isn't in the hotel ... none of the AR offices know where he is ... so last resort is his wife ... she would definitely know ...
But she doesn't ...
And now Khushi is seriously worried ... foreboding surrounding her like a dark cloud ... Anjali told her he's going to London, she tried to stop him but he left ... he never boarded the flight ... but she left him at the airport, his flight was called ...
So where is he??!!! Something is wrong, something has happened ... where is he? If he didn't take the flight, where did he go?
Precap - so glad to see Khushi confiding in Nani ... why is MM listening in? And Nani's expressions were better - they showed the panic and fear I was expecting ... I want to see that in Khushi too.
Thoughts -
Sanaya was not at her best today ... seemed tired and down, and her expressions were a little flat, especially in the last couple of scenes. However the last scene will continue tomorrow, so shall reserve comments - I felt the panic should start building up more now. Again, she must be tired, she was onscreen basically all through the entire episode, must be exhausting!
I liked her new hairstyle, with the bangs loose, and the black side clips gone ... she's looking prettier and prettier every day. And older and more serious - all woman ... the maturity in Khushi is building very quickly ... with pressure, people sometimes mature overnight. I'm really missing the bubbly naughty mischievous Khushi though ... will we ever get her back?
Glad that Nani is getting into the act - tomorrow I hope Akash also gets more active ... to make this track believable, the whole family needs to be involved, and they should start investigations full swing ...
Worry has to start ... where did he go? No thought of kidnapping yet is understandable ... there is no ransom note, no threatening phone call, so no reason yet to suspect it ... but they should check the airport for things like medical emergencies at the airport at the time he was leaving, especially in view of his diabetes - was anyone reported suddenly ill at the airport? The first scene of investigation should be the airport, where Khushi last saw him. They should be able to find out that he checked in and didn't board the flight ... and carry on from there. The rest depends on how believable they can make the investigation ... until Arnav's phone call comes ... and now I'm pretty certain, the ILU is to raise her antennae, it's in no way a confession ...

They ended the Bubbly track very nicely. Thank god, Dhriti, next time be careful with your show choices. You know where Bubbly/Dhriti WAS fab, the way she climbed up the bed and told Akash everything, that was a fab moment.

p.s. in the precap, masala mama was snooping around and overheard khushi's conco.. so is he gonna be snooping all through his role? another eww character trait.. :(
London guy said he called all the AR offices, which presumably means he called the Delhi office as well, and no one knew where ASR was ... that's why he finally called his wife. And they haven't raised the alarm yet, because they don't suspect anything wrong at the moment. No hospital alarm, no ransom note ... nothing to say he hasn't disappeared of his own accord.
DeleteThe only blooper I found was the passport ... you CAN get it done in a day with the right pull (personal experience) but you need the photo and signature! Chalo, in front of many other bloopers, this was a chotu one ... if she could get ASR's signatures on false pretenses, Anjali could have gotten her to sign anything without telling her why, and Khushi would have signed blindly!
I liked that Khushi stared speaking English without her dehati accent today ... so she's getting into the act of being Mrs ASR for life :)))

Like bubbly leaving but second thought as bubbly was shown with a cheery side why not few scenes with her and G sisters to light up the tension .... Kids do bring joy in such circumstance ..... MM was not needed at all .... Kids overhearing is a general trait.

Thank for the clarification that he contacted all the other offices and in fact they know he hasn't board the flight, so khushi knows the same.

ReplyDeleteOf course Sonu !! He is the villain but I hope they twist it a bit like .... Shyaam got to know somehow that Arnav din't board and went to xyz and if it is Lucknow it very easy for Shyaam to get arnav kidpanned as he had been shown to have that connection before.

Deleteshe understands good english itna cvs have kept constant ASR never had to repeat a sentence in hindi ..... And her not knowing english was part of OTT c*** they dished us .... Earlier she was shown decent enough except her fluency and accent like saying phone properly.

DeleteYep, it would have been good to have a Khushi introspection scene about Shyam ... anyway, they have lots of time to fill in the gaps, because this track is gonna take some time. And her priority is obviously Arnav as of now ... Shyam is like an irritating fly she wants to shake off ... when is she going to realise he's not just an irritant, but is the shark in the ocean?

ReplyDeleteI am going to scream if they don't search for ASR soon....not becos i miss him in the serial (he can stay away for as long as it is necessary)...but i hope common sense sense prevails...that when they find that ASR has not reached London, they take immediate steps to solve the problem...thats what normally people do...its very natural to check up on family when they are travelling!!maybe RM folks are diff

Rekha, that was the thing with Arnav's trip - for a day or two, no one expected him to contact anyone because of his mom's birthday ka whole sentimental jazz ... so no one except Khushi expected his call, or even tried to call him. And office people apparently didn't expect him till a day later as well ... so that part I can understand.
DeleteAnjali not knowing his return date is stranger ... unless he told her his trip was open-ended and depended on his business progressing there or some such crap ... but they could have put that into her dialogues ... that he had said he doesn't know when he will return, and his trip could get extended ...
Oh well, why are we looking for so much logic ... just be glad we're back to some semblance of a story rather than 101 ways to irritate Arnav and inane comedy! Though like I said in the main post, if the PH is gonna get a new entry, let them get a nice hot hunk to help Khushi, rather than a joker MM. Like the helpful cop Rana in Kahaani ... he was a sweetheart, and Khushi needs some help now.

Sanaya is doing a great job and getting her due this time .... This track is blessing for her. In last 2 months that I have known of IF's existence ..... I have not seen so many Sanaya appreciation posts. Even media ..... There are posts on Khushi/Sanaya .... Though its cvs fault to make her comic in a track where they could have shown her the strongest .... Well they have redeemed themselves a lot.

@Dia although Anji took signatures of Khushi by crook, she still would have needed Arnav signatures too.. They could have just said that Akash had already made K and Payal's passports last month and visa didn't take time when it was for Mrs ASR..

And then Khushi gets the phone call ... her antennae are on red alert ... and we get the CID track :)

@aarthi, anjali freaked out over arnav disappearing for 3 hours because he did not tell her he was going.. you can see when you see the back episodes, how many times he comes to di and says, di i'm going (here)... so it is a constant for her.. this time, though, he left with her full permission.. but yes, it is a bit questionable that his travel is open ended.

He needs to stop giving interviews or get a PR manager. What he said in the interview seems to have confirmed my thoughts. His heart does not seem to be in IPK anymore.

Sahana, yep, Khushi is pretty much hero and heroine rolled into one at the moment. While I'm happy for Sanaya getting the meaty role she deserved, and the accolades finally for the work she puts in, me too feel it's unfair on her to be carrying the burden alone while BS plays the field ... now if the TRP's drop, it will be on her shoulders, that she couldn't carry the show without him. So I hope Gul madam is keeping her options and her eyes open. At the moment, I'm so fed up with all the BS noise, I'd be happy to hear the announcement of a new Arnav, one who's there full time for the show, even if he is twiddling his thumbs on the sets for a week or two because his whereabouts are unknown.
DeleteAs for BS, the guy needs to keep his mouth shut - whenever he opens it, he puts his foot in it. He doesn't seem to realise that the bulk of fans tuning in to his iv's are IPKKND and ASR fans, not solely BS fans, as he appears to believe. That's where he's making his mistake, by not being firm about his return to IPK and by showing too much enthusiasm about his movie - what most people want to hear is that he's coming back to the show, not that he's excited about his movie - which he may well be!
Look at Sanaya, the way she handles the media - she turned down JDJ for whatever reasons - the reason released is that she has no time for JDJ because she needs to concentrate on IPK. Bam - the fans are delighted and she's won their hearts - with all the uncertainty about Barun, all they want to know is that Khushi is here to stay, and she's told them that! BS needs to learn from her how to handle the media!

Masala Mama is there to purely give out snippets to VLR and Khushi at times. There could be moments he speaks the absolute truth but then his ghajini syndrome would dilute the impact of what he says for a while.

BS seems to need a PR person pronto and also get someone who can scan the online sites for updates posted about him. From what I have seen so far, he seems decent and cannot be unaware of the fact that it is the charater of ASR that has gotten him acclaim. Also interviews get edited and maybe are made such that a frenzy is whipped up? Seems to be 2 PH who are on a roll online at teh cost of their hero to get eyeballs for their show / movie. And people reacting is just spurring them on. Purely my take because this guy most probably has no time and does nto access these online portals to see all these snippets and the perspective of use.
I have not seen the interview but somewhere all this blah blah and the HT and newspaper articles seem too contrived and I am gonna try and not open them.
These days the story is gripping and I will solely focus there accepting teh need for Arnav's bsence and trying to guess his return from the story unfolding alone.
Not discounting SI's work and the focus on her. The story at this point would have stagnated without this focus and am happy to see them give her her due whateever maybe teh pratical reasons influening it.

As long as the story can justify ASR's absence from the scene...its fine and frankly this drama is an element that this love story story had lacked for gripping viewer attention.

If there was no brouhaha about BS being absent, I would be very happy with the story progress ... however I do expect that within a day or two, once the mystery has been disclosed and it's clear that Arnav has indeed been kidnapped, there should be one Arnav scene in captivity, preferably brooding over his last parting from Khushi. And if BS is back on his shoot, then I expect and hope these are the shots they are canning, they don't need the rest of the cast for those, but they do need them from a story perspective ... AFTER, like I said, the first mystery of what happened to ASR is out. Then they can take their time on opening up the rest as to WHO dunnit.
Apart from that, I want a HH helping Khushi ... she does need some help, unless Nani and Akash are doled out some brains by the cv's at last ... and double benefit, it would give Bitwa a jolt when he surfaces again too! That there is someone who believes Khushi implicitly, and that is what led to his rescue. And if that someone is a HH, all the better! So far the other candidates for Khushi's affection have been VLR and NK, neither of whom are really competition!

As for his movie I like BS and think he's a decent actor and quite hot but unfortunately for him he's making a movie with ST and I dislike her more than I like him so math dictates i'll be skipping his movie. I hope ST and producers realize that any mileage that movie gets post and pre release will solely be IPK fans curious about BS.

Hellooo Ladies, Was away caught up with the epis today only, still have to watch 12/5 episode. Must say our villain is getting creepier by the day, and should I say that I loooooved the background tune they played during the khushi-shyam face off after the bathroom scene. The music just made the creepiness go through the roof. Abhaas was brilliant so was SI. Awesome expressions and dialogue delivery by both.

okay , I need to rant a bit more- what irks me is that with this BS drama, the movie is getting so much publicity at the cost of the show. I know that the movie will be a mediocre one and only if a miracle happens I will go to watch it.
If we get a new face, atleast full attention will be on the show.
I just need my old IPK back with romance, comedy and drama. For that having BS shouldnt be the controlling factor. But yes, a male lead should be.

Ekes!i just thot of something scary! What if khushi reads the will on her phone and confronts VLR and as usual he turns an unfavorable situation to his advantage? He may tell khushi that he will hand the papers back to her if she agrees to leave ASR and become his. She will think that ASR doesn't love her and she wouldn't want him to leave all his wealth which is everything to him! OMG! I hated the scenario but cudnt prevent my mind from imagining it once the thot came...I even imagined the evil grin on his face looking at her helplessness while she decides...dettol rinse!!

Saw the pic where Arnav is lighting candles for 6th June. Gargi, Bombay is an amazing city.U just need to have an open mind and heart and before u realize it the city wud have engulfed u in its charm. THe big hearts of the diverse people staying there, the ability to smile thru the toughest of situations, shopping for bindis and cutting veggies in the local train, eating a butta while getting drenched on marine drive, being able to travel lane by a cab late at night unlike Delhi and many such things will make u fall in love without u realizing it....just like our ODB and ODG.:-) U can be who u want and ppl will accept u...and u need to do the same for others.be tolerant of differences in opinion,religion,status and see how well u will get along with ppl in aamchi Mumbai! I am visiting Bombay for 2 weeks on 26th and am super excited so sorry if I went on about it.

I have been guilty of shooting my mouth of, getting carried away with emotions and saying some stuff I regret. Over the years I am learning to rein it in and be careful of what I say. All I know is there are some situations which I wish I could have handled differently but since I can't change the past, I am careful about it in the present and hopefully in future too.
I now realize why his interview rattled me so much yesterday:(
In my previous show, one of the actors got another lead role in a very good project. Quite a few of us who loved him cos of the way he portrayed the character were incredibly happy for his future project and finally his leap into the top 10 or 20 which this show would bring him.
Then the interviews began. One word - DISASTER.
In his anxiety to ensure people watch his next show, he started underplaying his present role which put lot of fans off including me. What he didn't realize that he was going to be supported anyway and he could have done that without ignoring/undermining (which is how it seemed although that might not have been his intention at the time) the role which got him so many fans.
Even then it was understood he was duty rather contract bound to talk about his new show and promote it, but he failed to say the right words and failed to strike the balance and messed it up.
Despite all that I did give his show a chance, unfortunately again not his fault, the character failed to strike a chord AND that actor was lost.
Pretty sad actually the way it happened. Do I wish the actor could have handled it differently. Yes. Do I wish I could have handled it differently - Double Yes.
Now another actor, Who although I used to crack jokes at his character a lot unfortunately giving the impression that I didn't like the actor when actually I was pretty impressed by his growth, his talent was very SMART. When he signed his next show, he was careful in not repeating that mistake, very diplomatically and smartly managed to carry forward his old show fans to his new show got more fans.
I didnt watch his show cos it didn't appeal to me much and this actor continues to grow and his show is in top 10 trp chart.
I dont think any of us have a problem with BS doing a movie. We all are supporting him and rooting for him here.
I love the show more, Come back if you can give your 100% when you return, give the character and the show its due and if you cannot move on. No hard feelings.
And I realize Your job is to ACT. A role is just another day in work for you. Fans come with the territory and managing them is a headache unfortunately a job that needs to be done very smartly for your own benefit.

DeleteYou said it exactly!!! And that's exactly my viewpoint - I'm a fan of the show and of ArHi and ASR ... what BS does in his spare time - or even in his career path - is of NO interest to me whatsoever!
If you can give your full commitment to a show that I love, come back ... if not, go on your way, no hard feelings, you have a life to live and a home to run ...
And let me live my life, and choose my entertainment - I want ASR back, and a proper IPKKND story ... if Barun chooses not to be in it, that's his call entirely. But what I don't want is half-baked storylines because the actor and the PH can't make up their mind ... if they can't give me that, then whether BS is there or not, I will switch channels. And that's why I have been rooting for a new hero from day one ... I watch very few shows, and when I do like one, it's usually because of the storyline, and not the actors. Sanaya included - I watched MJHT because I identified with the character Gunjan ... I watch IPK because I like ArHi and ASR, apart from my love for Sanaya ... and I want ArHi and ASR back.
By the way, just out of curiosity, which two actors are you talking about? The second, my guess is Karan T, which is the first? Am intrigued ;)

PH should be able to manage all these situations....There are in the business and all such contingencies should be managed without even people getting a whiff of it.
If i were in the PH position, realising that BS has some pull among some sections, would have quietly put an announcement that the show is having a different track that we are working on, which does not require the presence of the main lead for a while...AND so we are happy for him to pursue his acting assignments for the time being..(the second part is not even required to be mentioned;in the background, i can go ahead and change/chop his role as i wish)
The important point, my story is the main issue, the actor going away/bunking/coming back etc is secondary and thats the point that should have got across not BS having a movie etc....

DeleteRekha: This PH had a dream run, zero promotion yet the show managed to sustain itself in top 10 and see how they missed and messed up a fantastic show.
They knew he was going to be off for 45 days or whatever. They should have shown him kidnapped in the last month or so, banked on episodes so they couuld have used that when he actually went MIA.
How much more will they goof up?

But his unprofessional attitude is a big put-off for me, even so it has taken the fun out of watching IPK completely. On one hand, I do feel for the guy, he is being taken for a ride but then his is no kid and also has been around for sometime now. He should know what to say to the media and what not to say.
Like Dia said, he has completely misunderstood the power of the ASR role he is playing. God help him with his future endeavours.
I was very happy to know that he had bagged a role in BW but themedia circus that has started since the time and he himself fuelling that fire has ompletely turned me of.

DeleteTrue. I do agree that I am a bit put off right now and my brain may have gone for a world tour where BS is concerned.
DeleteUnprofessional means that he took up another assignment while still in contract with this PH. I would imagine that there is a contract of some sorts to ensure that the leads don't leave the PH high and dry mid way into the serial by accepting another attractive job offer. If it does come up, then they have to choose between the two. I'm not sure how it works and what the contract arrangements are and maybe it's a non issue with the PH and they are willing it work it out with the lead.
In some ways, the PH has to be blamed big time because they wasted almost 2 months of valuable time without moving the story an inch. Maybe that's when BS started shopping and the movie deal came up.
Anyways, I guess, I'm not making much sense here, just looking at my own selfish interests of keeping IPK intact.
Would like to believe that he is being honest to his fans when he says that he is coming back to the show.
As for me, I'll just wait and watch and sometimes rant in R&R when I start missing ASR :-)

I just wonder how this shyam drama will end some day...will it be a change of heart for Shyam? ... him being killed by Arhi/ TQ?...him going into oblivion?
Maybe we need a handsome doc in the serial who may teach Anjali to get rid of her superstitions...:)
Regarding BS, I think his 11/40 days sabbatical is forgiving if we have a good storyline which we already have and I am sure our hero is going to come back we a bang. So have patience, gals! :)

So, after everyone has had their say on the barun sobti topic, i guess i am taking my turn.
ReplyDelete1. I , being an interested bystander, have no opinion on whether he does a bollywood movie, a hollywood movie, or a stint as har har mahadev.
2. I, being an avid fan of IPK, would like to see him continue his role as ASR to completion, and that, he promises to do.. even in the latest interview.
3. I, being a (self- assigned) critic of the show, completely understand when he says that the show is going nowhere right now and he is frustrated with the current track... we all are, including sanaya and daljeet.
4. I have no problems with him finding something else(whatever it may be) to do while there is a kidnapping track in the story.. and he clarified that he will continue to come and can a few scenes as required when the serial demands it.
5. I liked him saying that he left his house in delhi to be seen.. I like his honesty, however media-savvy he may NOT be. he has dreams of being an actor, he had some interesting roles.. now as ASR, he is famous in a way he wanted to be..(every actor's dream) .
6. he does not identify with the ASR character.. he has said that in many interviews.. he does not know what draws girls to that character.
I can understand, he is a honest boy who gave his heart while still in school. Barun and Pashmeen completed their education, got their respective jobs, gained approval of family and got married.. I really appreciate that!! As barun said in an interview, he has made the long distance relationship work, and come to fruition..
he cannot identify with the ASR character(badass image), but barun (good boy to the core) still does an awesome job of it.. that shows that he is a good actor.
7. in my personal opinion, Barun is a chameleon.. he changes color depending on the role he plays.
just see a bit of (baat hamari pakki hai) on youtube to see the huge difference.. barun did not identify with that character either. now that he is in a movie in whatever role, he will be trying to assimilate that character, and needs time to do that.
8. If the production house indeed gave him 40 days leave , then why are we viewers complaining? It is the PH's job to give us an entertaining serial... nothing more.. they do not have to promise that the male lead or the female lead will be on for x number of minutes each episode! (and even when both BS and SI were there, the story was not that amazing in the last few months, as we all know)
9. yes, it is the one-year anniversary of IPK, contracts are being renewed, everyone will ask for a raise.. that is normal. threatening to leave the show is normal too.
the huge hullaballoo over at IF is normal, in that every person is entitled to express their opinion.. whether that person is a tenth grader who should be studying for her exams...or a rocket scientist watching the show while eating dinner.

Statement from the PH & Actor: Barun is on leave for 40 days for shooting his movie. And since his absence coincided with the track we have in mind, it worked out fabulously for both the parties concerned.
As soon as the track gets its logical end, Barun will be back as ASR. Till then keep watching IPKKND.

DeleteAt the moment, I've had an overdose of BS and his moves ... with all this news on BS overflowing from every nook and cranny, whatever little interest I ever had in the guy, has evaporated completely.
All I'm really interested in is when is ASR gonna be back. I signed up for a love story, a love story needs a hero and a heroine. That's it. And usually a villain - which we have plenty of - too much, in fact.

If yesterday is any start for what is instored for this week, then am all for it even with the spoiler of ASR saying ILU, because am still waiting to know why did say so? more so did he really mean it?
@yes mona am going to be away from BS interviews specially and from other spoilers- which i doubt I can lol but one thing is BS has just put me off a major time However down to earth or the guy next door he is .. his whole charm has been lost in this whole thing.. so he saying anything makes no difference to me at this point.

Interestingly see the date on that post - Nov 2011 - toh thoughts of confession, coming together, judaai have been there since then - and again now we are at teh key of happiness.
Those were great days - I was just over a month into IPK and was so awed by 2 good looking leads emoing so well and all out rooting for them to meet.

DeleteI mean underlying there has always been a consistency in certain themes - even during GH track there were things that were achieved and I recall the last time a promo got this dissected was when that wedding promo came out - is he holding her, is he pulling her...
Holi sequence was soo good and wedding weeks were also well done - pain angst took their time such taht we were all screaming for relief and wishing tyhat overnight the MU would clear.
Th people writing this have an ace up their sleeve but what is killing the fun is the whole how it is being depicted to us.
I won't feel bad if SBS and SBB and online just freezes up till end of next week and then we will all be thinking only of the story, biting our nails saying ok is he alive, is he dead, is it creep, is it chacha and then TaDa apna hero will do style entry looking just th right amount scruffy and am sure all of us will be going THUD :)

DeleteActually, after the MU happened, maybe the PH woke up to how well-perceived this serial was among viewers, probably decided, to slow down everything a bit and soak in the praise....let the script wander a bit...then it was like a belagaam ghoda...diffi to rein in...
I am still accepting that those two-three months were necessary for the script to show them together as husband-wife etc...but the suspension of logic at times and poor execution at other times created a void then....but as we have seen all is not lost...if they keep this track tight...i am sure they can get back their old flavor

- Sanaya urf Khushi is not doing JDJ because of channel and PH issues ... so the channel doesn't want Sanaya on a rival channel, but doesn't mind Barun going out from the channel to do a movie ... phokat publicity for the channel, obviously! Politics ... ah politics ... always a dirty game!
- Mohit, Sanaya's real-life partner, also offered a movie ... plus his new show is coming too ...
- And Zee_News posted that Sanaya will do NB5 with Mohit ... hmm, am not very happy, Mohit is not a great dancer at all, he's just about adequate. And height will be an issue. Oh well, they'll get some time together ... if the news is true. If he has a show and a movie coming up, will he have the time for NB5?
- And a day out with Bubbly - the kid is cute. SBS had lots on IPK today ... does that mean the TRP's improved this week?

Barun Sobti aka Arnav Singh Raizada's absence from Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is giving some tough times to the production house and the creative team. But they all truly deserve to be applauded as they have covered up the absence in quite a sensible manner.
And now it’s the week when one will see Khushi (Sanaya Irani) heading towards the hard truth! As seen last, Khushi has now come to know that Arnav never reached London. She was supposed to leave for London but the call which came her way shattered her completely. A rather dismantled Khushi though reached Rayzada house back but couldn’t share the same news with Anjali (Daljeet Bhanot) and other members of the house.
However, Nani will sense her tension and Khushi will confide into her by telling her the whole truth about Arnav not being in London. If believe the sources, the news will be broken to other family members too and all will get tensed because of the same.
Meanwhile, Khushi will get a call from Arnav wherein he will confess his love for her. This will calm the family members down but get Khushi into a new confusion. She will doubt the confession and her sixth sense will make her feel that Arnav is in some sort of trouble.
Also, Shyam (Abhaas Mehta), who has been trying hard to get the will transferred to his name will also get to face a blow. If sources are to be trusted then the papers will go missing and most probably will get back in the custody of Khushi. And from here we will see Khushi finding out ways of tracing Arnav.
Will Khushi be able to trace Arnav out? Is Shyam really the one who has kidnapped Arnav? Stay tuned to get more updates on the same!
