Hope it's not a woeful Wednesday this week - quick edit - it wasn't :) After ages, a good Wednesday episode!
Khushi marginally reassured by the SMS, Anjali tells her to reply. Doesn't seem as though Shyam is involved.
Some strange man in horrid brown shirt (and was that a waistcoat?) deletes Khushi reply on Arnav's phone.
Loved the way Nani stayed with Khushi to give her comfort ... love the bonding happening between the R ladies and Khushi. Even Mami is thawing seeing Khushi's extreme concern.
Nani tells Khushi essentially what Anjali told Arnav - that Arnav can't bear to see his loved ones hurt, he will land up punishing himself.
That man has some serious issues in life ... he needs help! =)) Indication for the RTRW to start soon?
More fb's ... the dialogue about the rabba ve was silly and unnecessary ... the cv's should know when to keep things serious, when tongue in cheek humor is not in place.
Khushi Shyam games have begun in earnest ... so good to see that Khushi doesn't trust him an inch now! So far Shyam is a step or two ahead ... but Khushi is not going to give up.
And also good to see Mami investigating Bubbly :) Will she remember the sindoor on Bubbly's hand? Akash is junior bitwa all right ... seedha accusation without fact finding ...

Adding *shiddat* force to the R&R girls ... papers drop into the water and the signatures get erased :)) ... the hand is Anjali's.
And it clicks to Khushi that Arnav has never texted her ... and why did he message her (and not Di? was unspoken)
Good episode ... with a story on track, and things moving. Barun can stay absent a little while longer if it spurs the cv's off their backsides into actually thinking!!! And we still don't really have a clue as to why and how Arnav has gone missing.

At the other end, a stranger (in an awful brown suit) in a dark room with a Baba Adam ke zamaane ka fan, deletes Khushi's message. Dhichkaonnn .... suspense has started. :)) If Arnav has gone missing on his own, who is this stranger who has his phone? And if he has been kidnapped, why no ransom note yet?
Thought - if Shyam is responsible, he might be waiting to register the will in court before bumping Arnav off. Giving some proof that he is indeed a lawyer.
Nani sees that Khushi is still very disturbed, so she stays the night with her. Sweet to see the Nani-Khushi bonding again ... as Khushi slowly strengthens all her ties with Arnav's family members in his absence, and along with her own realisation, they also see the concern and love she has for Arnav.
When Anjali reminded Arnav of the story of the broken frame, I felt that it would have been more useful to tell Khushi that story, to help her understand her complex husband. However, it served the purpose of holding a mirror to Arnav, for him to come to terms with his own feelings.
Now Nani does a repeat of the same lesson, different story, how Arnav punished himself for a fault of Anjali's. Which is essentially what he's doing now - punishing himself (and Khushi) for a fault of Anjali's - her blind devotion and dependence on Shyam. And Khushi's first worry was whether Arnav hurt himself when they had to cut him out of the vessel.
Anjali told Khushi that Arnav can't share his pain with anyone. Nani goes further, she tells Khushi Arnav internalizes his pain ... punishes himself if he can't take care of his loved ones.
And Khushi remembers the times when he came to take care of her ... at that time, she saw those incidents through a haze of anger, and saw only ASR, now she starts to recognise the care, the concern ...
He sent her to the guest house, then came to rescue her with no thought to his own safety ...
He sent her to the parking lot in the pouring rain, then got soaked himself when he came to offer her his jacket ...
His worry when she hurt herself with NK's bangle ... again coming forth in anger, but then he took out the bangle piece ...
He rushed to the temple to bandage her finger when she cut it - she cut it when he pushed her ... he said he never wanted to see her face again, then rushed to the temple just to bandage her finger.
She almost confessed her feelings to him ... and he left her ... is he punishing himself somehow ...?
And she wakes up with the dreams ... stop thinking about him ...
Did not appreciate the 'rabba ve' dialogue ... cv's, you're doing a good job with this serious track, don't try to bring in your brand of what you fondly imagine is 'comedy' ... it's not.
So in the morning, Khushi informs Lakshmi brightly that she will stop thinking about Arnav, gets her smiling mask back on ... then her face clouds over ... that's easier said than done.
And as she goes to give Anjali tea, she hears Shyam talking about papers ... and Lakshmi, to make up for her previous mistake, atones for it slightly, by knocking over the briefcase ... Shyam rushes to pick up his papers, clarifying they're his client's papers ... and Khushi is suspicious all over again ... even though he does the drama of asking her if she's found the papers yet. Khushi's eyes are on the briefcase.
Good to see Mami on her 'inbestigation' about Bubbly and the photos ... the only intelligent R woman ... Bubbly is as slippery as Shyam but Mami is not convinced. Smart lady!
Khushi persuades Anjali and Nani that Shyam should go with them ... but she needs to be sharper, and hide her expressions better, because Shyam knows what she's up to. Anyway, her worried expressions make Nani and Anjali feel she's worrying about Arnav still, so Nani doesn't push Khushi to come with them.
Khushi manages to open Shyam's briefcase, but of course, he's a step ahead ... no papers worth the effort. Because he has them with him.
Mami-Payal-Bubbly drama ... the usual Payal blaming stuff, except that Mami sees Bubbly with sindoor on her hands. So she will probably put two and two together at some point. Good thing Bubbly is on the way out.
Is MM a khabri for Arnav? Or for the kidnapper? With all his talk about masaledar baatein? Or is he just a red herring? But can't be for Arnav, as Arnav doesn't have his phone. And he's Mami's brother, so he can't be for the kidnapper. Hence concluded - he is a red herring.
Am on IPK diet ... :)) may have to eat those words any time ;)

I would have liked a female version of the song here ... loved the way Khushi closes her eyes as though in despairing acceptance at the words 'kyun dard hai itna tere ishq mein ...'
And Shyam gloats over having the papers that Khushi is looking for ... does Khushi see him looking at the papers and realise that her suspicions are true and he does have them?
Precap - it clicks to Khushi that here's something fishy about the message - he's never messaged her before.
Thoughts
For this track to really work, Arnav has to be missing for quite some time, my guess is right up to a final Khushi-Shyam showdown, when Khushi is in serious danger of getting hurt, maybe danger to her life, and Arnav bursts on screen like a hero and rescues her - but not before overhearing confirmation of the truth (which hopefully he has already found out during this 'missing' phase). Khushi gets seriously hurt, this will be the final straw that breaks the camel's back and starts his RTRW in earnest. And we will get the story of where he has been all along in flashbacks - which the cv's can shoot when he reports to the IPK sets on his 'off and on' moments - but he needs to shoot them separately from the rest of the cast anyway, because they will show this journey only in fb. If they show it in real time, the entire suspense will be killed.
Would be pretty 'filmy' but that's probably the way I would do it - so I'm not holding my breath for Arnav to reappear any time soon. Maximum a dream sequence or new 'flashbacks' or something.
However, if this is leading to Khushi rescuing Arnav, then of course, it won't go this way at all - then they would at some point start showing Arnav's side of the story too, where he has been all this time ... and the culmination being her rescuing him. Again hopefully after he has completed some investigations and discovered the truth. However, since Man in Brown Suit already has Arnav's phone, am guessing Arnav is in trouble already. Would fit with Khushi's nightmare - that she has this intuition about Arnav being in trouble the first night itself. And soon, probably as soon as Khushi gets her hands on the papers, realises what they are, and that Arnav's life could actually be in danger, then they will start showing Arnav. If he is in trouble, then by next week they will probably show us where he is. Or maybe not - they might try to keep it in suspense till Khushi reaches him.
So far the flashbacks have been in order and relevant ... hope the cv's keep them that way and don't just put them in for the sake of seeing Bitwa's face.
One last and not so pleasant thought - the reason for deleting Khushi's message on Arnav's phone - to show to Arnav that Khushi is not concerned about him, is not trying to contact him. Who would be likely to do that? Unfortunately, only Creepwa.

I also loved that Nani instantly explaining why she didn't insist on Khushi accompanying them to temple just like the good old days where logic was used and explained.

they could have taken care of details earlier too ... like the ladder scene would have been complete and nice if they din't include the generator scene (no purpose at all)

they dint rush for shyaam revelation because of BS leave .... they actually had 1 extra week in hand for it as ME was postponed.
They can't afford to mess up now, so are being careful I guess. They got themselves into this mess and are now trying hard to get out of it.

4)If Khushi's comment on RV was a joke for the audience, it was not appreciated in that serious scene....
Rekha, it basically meant if bitwa is unable to protect/harms his loved ones, he ends up punishing himself. MEANING. He will be walking RTR very soon.

6. If Indeed ASR got himself kidnapped, ASR will most likely negotiate with the kidnappers I will triple the amount you got paid by the person who hired you, let me go OR better still maintain the farce to the guy who hired you. That is ASR.Cool
Back to the main post:
We had couple of hints yesterday that ASR might just be in Lucknow.
1. Mami's he is in London and not in Lucknow.
2. Pearl & Chaabi - Happened in Lucknow.
3. Arnav -Khushi met in Lucknow
4. Most Important - Shyam hails from Lucknow
Wouldn't it make sense for ASR to go back to Lucknow and figure out Who the hell is Shyam Jha.
ASR needs to fully know and understand Shyam Jha before he can defeat him, RIGHT?
We can assume that when Shyam proposed to Anjali, ASR would have definitely done a background check and it would have been clean.
What if it was too clean, know what I mean?
What if Shyam managed to fake everything just so he can be a Raizaada Damaad?
ASR will NOW have the opportunity to dig deeper and find out more about Shyam.
Did Shyam fake his background?
Is he even Shyam Jha for real?
Is Shyam doing all this for revenge against ASR himself (who might have wronged him somehow) or against Malliks (assuming his grouse is with ASR's Dad)?
Or Shyam just plain Psycho?
Did Shyam fail in Science in School(Scorpion, Ether, Current remember?) and hence took to Law?
There are so many questions that need to be answered for Arnav before he can outwit and outclass Shyam.
Also Arnav also needs to know, that he has inadvertantly pushed Khushi towards Shyam on quite a few occassions:
1. Release of Tape - Harassment - Led to the meeting of Shyam and Khushi.
2. Khushi moved to Delhi - Met Shyam again and asked him for help in finding a job to pay the 20K damage to Arnav's car.
3. Arnav breaking her heart on Diwali ended up her reluctantly agreeing to getting engaged to Shyam (She was putting a tough fight till then).
So can we hope for the Brainy ASR to make a spectacular come back and handle Shyam in ASR way?Cool

loved KKG's white night suit - had feared that thanks to the CVs budget problems - the old cream one was worn and washed so many times that it has become white - no but this was new with a proper kamdani ka dupattta - just as i like it :D

why could they not shoot at the teej-wala temple? after all, the raizadas usually used to go there..
(but the angle of photography made me realize another thing.. it is the temple of dutta-nakusha reunion!! excuse the cheergirl, I sort of got hooked to that show Laagi Tujhse Lagan on youtube.. and they used the RM(insides) as their family home too.. )
another thought.. in the beginning, the Raizadas had a whole fleet of service staff.. a bai, a chacha, OP, JP, etc etc.. these days, they only have HP. for everything!!is it really cost cutting, or did the new director not know this??

Long ago I had written, when Arnav realizes the truth he will be brutal on himself. He will not be able to forgive himself and be in enormous pain. It is his pain which will bring Khushi back to him because she could never see him in pain and she will need to intervene for him to begin to forgive himself.
I have seen epis of past 10 days in bits and pieces and have cobbled together some thoughts from teh top of my mind. And for the BS is he is he nt - did u not notice the airport announcement - dwaar kramaank 22 se prasthaan karein ;)?

And if you thought my citing those dialogues brought back the magic, well live it because it is all happening now :) All those dialogues kind of paraphrase my thoughts for what I saw in the past 10 epis on what is happening now.

And the last time Shyam was in a temple, his marriage to anji was exposed to bauji. Toh DM woh bhi nani ke kehne pe khushi aayi hai - dhamaaka toh banta hai na:)

Deletehoping for a dhamaaka too - i know ASR has to be mia and the story is moving but was starting to get the feeling that the CV will start stalling again- after all no clues on the Mr. Horrid Brown Suit, no clues on ASR missing - in fact ODG also does not know he is mia still - so yes am hoping a dhamaaka happens and does not let the story get slow (as it is without ODB it is a bit - how should i say it - pheeka :D)
and it seems IPK narnia is back - took three episode for an evening - so maybe you guys get your wish and ODG will come back on the MIL'd B'day - just before midnight (though dont think that will happen - a lot of days have to pass to get ODG frantic and pushed off the edge!)

Sandy, hope you're right and we get some sort of dhamaka in the temple, as well as the 22nd prediction one.
The more I think about it, the more I feel that Shyam will be behind the kidnapping ... if it was Arnav himself, what's with the mysterious MIBS and the phone ... unless he's given it to his mundu to keep track of while he's incognito.

Btw, recalled one more scene and thot of u becaue u had commented on it then.
Holi day- they start to walk together but Khushi's dupatta falls off and she tells Arnav to go on and she will joi him after getting it but he says "Nahi main rukoonga"..I'll be waiting. Dupatta = honour and when she went back she first had to battle a wee bit with RRR before Anji comes and takes her to Arnav. Pata nahi kyun, from his Mon onwards, ever sine bitwa is missing this scene has been in the background for me.

Btw, what if he went to do some work and simply got mugged. After all biz tycoon, maybe someone wanted him for ransom ...:):)

next again yesterday nani said that Anjali stole the ice-cream and again bitwa took the blame.. That is in both the case anji was at fault and arnav took the repercussions of it.. so would it be that Anji knows about RRR but hasn't said out because of the same reason as Arhi? And maybe she does not have enough proof to get him out.. I mean how dumb can she be, she had enough proof at least in last few days...

no, arnav did not take the blame for the ice cream incident.. anji got punished, he got off scot free (he was 4 years old, anji must have been at least seven.. so understandable) but then he went off by himself and punished himself.. is what i got from the convo..
