Praise be to the Lord ... another good episode, though not in the same league as yesterday ... but the story continues to move.
I wish Bitiya had managed to get a word out before Arnav hung up the phone ... why did he do that? Because he was afraid of her silence? Loved the way she clung to the phone and held it tight, before walking quietly out, leaving the rest of the family celebrating ... VLR rejoins the group ... and Anjali unwittingly strikes the nail on the head when she says it felt like Bitwa heard we were going to contact the police, so he called ...
Loved Khushi's fb's ... finally remembering all the 'farak padta hai's and Diwali kiss ... then the song ... I LOVE this song ... Aaoge Jab Tum o Sajna ... Angna phool khilenge ... perfect song of a girl pining for her love ...
Once I got over the distracting earrings (do they TRY to choose the most hideous ones they can find?), I liked the song picturization ... my inner phangurl surfacing ;) ... except for ASR running by the poolside ... that made me giggle :))
Oh yes, we had some shots of Arnav struggling in a chair all tied up ... so it's established ... he's kidnapped. And the goons know he has diabetes, and they have to keep him alive for now ... Umm, for diabetes, food is as important as medicines ...

Romance over, Khushi is all tense again ... her Arnav is in danger, so gets down to business ... check flights, call Aman ... get the facts ... the puzzling SMS ...
And her thinking starts ... why did he say ILU ... after all the hate? There is something wrong for sure ... was he trying to tell her something?

Have the falling TRP's lit a fire under the collective backside of the cv's? Because suddenly the speed of the episodes has picked up greatly ... too much, I feel ... they need to fade out certain scenes slowly to leave the full impact, especially the emotional ones.
Having said that, I liked the way yesterday's scene carried over today ...
Arnav says 'Khushi, I love you ...'
Khushi is shell-shocked ... a traumatic three days, coming to terms with her own feelings, that vague but ever-present sense of foreboding, the shock of learning that those half-formed fears are founded in some reality, because Arnav is really missing ... facing her own fears, is he in danger? ... then pushing them to the back-burner in trying to hold strong for the family as they all collectively panic like headless chickens ... and then the phone call, which seems to lay all those fears at rest ... he's alive, he's all right, he's talking normally to everyone else ... there is nothing wrong with him ... it was all her imagination, brought on by her own newly realised feelings and pain of unrequited love ...
And then he talks to her ... as though that bitter parting in the airport never happened ... he tells her to stop crying as though he can see her face to face, he knows what she's going through ... he understands and is trying to calm her and tell her not to worry ... and he loves her ... he said it ...
And she is shell shocked ... doesn't know how to react as the words sink in ... a single tear steals out ...
He waits on the other side ... only to hear silence ... he could read her tears, can he read her silence too?
And the tears start flowing again, in a stream ... he said the words she was dying to hear, the words she thought she would never hear ... she can't believe it, a dream come true ... is it a dream or is it real? Did he really say it or was she hallucinating ...?
He still waits ... can he feel her tears now as they flow unendingly? ... when she's angry or upset, she always has lots to say ... but when she's at her most emotional, she stays quiet ... he sensed her tears, he worry, her upset ... can he sense her love now?
He said it ... he had to tell her ... in case he never saw her again ... he didn't want to leave her with his hate, but with his love ... whatever she feels for him, it doesn't really matter now, because there's not much he can do about it ... he thought he wouldn't be able to bear it if she didn't love him, but it doesn't matter if she does or doesn't ... he still loves her, and always will, for as long as he lives ... which doesn't seem to be very long now ... he loves her, and he had to tell her that before he died ...
And he clicks shut the phone ... and holds it despairingly ... he could have told her when she was there with him, he lost the chance ... and this was all he had ... he could have had so much more ... they could have had so much more ...
And Khushi hears the buzz of the dead connection, and stares at the phone ... still taking in the words ... what they meant ... she holds the phone close to her heart as though holding the man himself ...

He closes his eyes in despair ... too little said too late ... has he lost his chance at life ...?

And Mr Kidnapper takes his phone back, and holds the gun at his head ... hereby confirmed ... ASR is indeed kidnapped. And all tied up to boot.
(If this was meant to be Breaking News, it failed abysmally ... the PH really needs to be much smarter as to what news they give out. :( )
Back to the family circle ... Anjali delighted that Arnav called, Shyam tells her it's good she didn't call the police ... Anjali unwittingly hits the nail on the head ... the moment they spoke about contacting the police, Arnav called ... but of course, no one thinks anything much about it ... to VLR's relief, as Akash makes a joke out of Anjali's hysterics.
And nobody in the rejoicing, smiling family circle spares a thought for Khushi, who's been paranoid the last two days with worry ... nobody thinks to comfort her, as she steals out of the room quietly ... lost in those three magical words ... her dream come true ... her heart's longing fulfilled so suddenly and unexpectedly ... barely had she come to terms with her own love, and now she finds that it's returned ...
And her flashbacks ... all the right ones this time, connecting the right dots ... his anger always a front for his love, which he could never express ... the unfinished 'farak padta hai kyunki ...'s, the unfinished Diwali kiss ... now she can see the love behind the anger of the engagement 'farak padta hai', the love behind the angry concern of the 'farak padta hai kyunki ...' when she went missing for all of two hours ... and the first love behind the unfinished Diwali kiss ...
And she enters her room still lost in that daze ... he meant it ... he does love her ... the wind chimes she had hung to tell her of his arrival sound melodiously ... and in that daze she gets lost in her dreams ... he's back ... he loves her ... her rajkumar ... smiling at her ... candlelight and romance ... Khushi in bridal red ...
She reaches out her hand ... she was always the one chasing him for answers ... why did you say that? why did you keep my payal? Aapko kyun farak padta hai ...

And finally, so do the words he spoke ... how could he have said such a big thing like this? So suddenly? The way he was talking, so gently, so differently ... there was so much still unfinished between them, the MU about Shyam, his accusations about her character ... he made her cry so much, gave her so much pain, didn't give her a chance to establish her innocence ... yet he said he loves her? How could he say it like this?

CV's are struggling to find a parallel track that would work in IPK ... the main story is so gripping,a and the leads so strong, that no one else really has a chance ... least of all Payash, and their very tepid love story. Jeez, they even need a Cupid after marriage to fix their dinner dates ...
And Akash sure is overworked in Arnav's absence =)) ... though I think Mami is getting more screenspace than he is ... deservedly too ...

The song didn’t impress me much. Didn't think fit well there. but think couldn't take lovey dovey ASR there ... Fb's were good leading to the song. and also she seeing why would he say that to her when he hated her. wish HR Fb's were shown may be later ..

But yepiii Khushi figure out the SMS from London wala clue.. goes to police, but they tell her they have come to her house for inquiry, so she returns, so is she hiring PI ??

DeleteSama, Actually I thought that the police scene was well done, apart from poking fun at the gumshuda love story...face it love story toh really gumshuda hai and actor bhi...they had to give a reason for why she will approach a detective..based on the spoilers.

The whole thing was bad. But on 2nd watch it does not seem that bad .. That was typical khushi, blurting out, she is messed up in the head and to her its main reason.. But i feel it might be just to show that she went to police first or give a hint to shyam with the newspaper, that she is not convinced and she went to the police. Or why would you need for a stupid Media outside, she had to leave and get caught in that media mess.

Even Akash was wondering why Aman hadn't called him rather than Khushi, thn Khushi clarified that Aman called the Delhi office first, got no news, then only called Khushi. So Aman called the Delhi office because he's NOT in Delhi - he's in London.

then joy, because it's requited (is that a word?) ... and she actually connects the RIGHT dots and knows it's true ...
so her dream ... she can now dare to dream about his return, knowing it will come true, he does love her ...
And it ends with the message in the bottle ... not from any book, but the classic distress call of sailors marooned on deserted islands ... also goes with my title Kidnapped - the same author wrote Treasure Island ... the two most famous books of RL Stevenson, I always club them together in my head ;)
So the message in the bottle is his distress call ... and she comes out of her dream world and starts putting it together.
Have to see A's exp again to decipher why he cut the call..okay maybe he has done what he had to do....but can't bear the consequences of what she will say....he has always feared rejection by Khushi...that may well be the reason...
ReplyDeleteI understand that K would have reacted with a mixture of incredulity, joy on hearing Arnav say those words...and but flight to fancy looked misplaced in terms of how it was shot...FBs leading to it were excellent so i guess...the disappointment...esp the change of clothes for K was jarring...actually the whole sequence was a bit of downer...my person opinion....maybe it was for phangirls?
Rest of epi ok...nothing great..

Khushi thot process is ok (as she is not expected to know)but facts don't support the logic used...u can always go to Scotland via London...so....police scene was a bit silly...rest of scenes have not analysed much..

DeleteDream sequence was misplaced it took the intensity away from the FB's ... the connection between the 2 sessions of FB's .... 1. completion of the sentences and 2. the contrast between their interaction before and after his departure, leading to he wouldn't have said that so easily.

Dream sequence was flat for me. After that last scene intensity it kind ruined the day today. Khushi could have just continued with all the conflicting GH FBs, Payash wedding FBs rather than a new dream song. And WT how dare he make yher wear the pearl string in a dream sequence? I want another one and a proper scene like the 1st epi waala. Or was this to show that Khushi had finally gotten all the wisdon she needed to proceed on her quest?

Nice episode .. so Shyam has clearly a hand in the kidnapping and they want ASR alive at least for some time.I liked the way khushi started thinking.First when she heard those mesmerizing 3 words from his mouth , she went to her dream world , but soon she came back to reality and started to ponder more on why he said that. If she was trying the same way she did to get the truth behind the sudden marriage from Arnav , it will take ages to trace Arnav. Hope this time she will be more alert as she feels his life is in danger.

just watched the epi - am damned sleepy - but have to respond to some of the comments here:
ReplyDelete- for all those who felt the dream was not right/forced /did not gel - at the risk of sounding like a IF fangirl - i think it gelled in real well. look at it from ODG's POV - she loves her husband to the point of madness, he finally tells hers why he forced her to marry him, does not give her a chance to explain - so basically part on sad/bad note - she is going crazy with worry for him -
now in all this - he calls, he not only talks to her lovingly but understands her tears and emotions and ends by telling her that he loves her too. her instant reaction - belief in his words and pure joy. - she walks away from everyone into the seclusion of her room and cant help but remember all the correct scenes - parts which had made her hope in the first case - things that suggested that he cared too...
her next reaction is to imagine what it will be like when he gets back - pure magic (as for her earnings - really were not bothered by them - ODG looked so ravishing with the perfect eye makeup that i did not notice anything else!!)
- and even in her dreams she does not think of diamonds or riches - only things that are connected to him - pearls and a confession of his love.
- BUT - she stops - not coz she doubts him (not till that point) she stops coz she feels her heart is warning her that he is in danger and she is restless. hence she starts investigating.
then come the wrong (as in -ve) FBs - parts that remind her of his anger and she puts 2 and 2 together - even if he loves her - he would not say it like that - then her alarm bells ring again - so all in all - a perfect smooth though process well shown - the only problem with the sequence was the song - they really don't need any and every song (no matter how good a song) - the CVs have to start believing in what they have created and the RV old, new, any - would have been just right here- ODG&B don't need more songs - they have their music and it suits perfectly!

DeleteI actually was ok with dram sequence on rewatch. First time round loks like I pickd a video with portions missing and so it really was messy to me. Yep chakki peesing Khushi total filmy so she dreams of a loving husband. But some where BS's body langaue was a bit off I felt in that sequence.

btw is there a difference between normal transmission and HD transmission because scenes look much better and clear in you-tube .... like in dream sequence chit was not clear but here in you-tube Star Plus HD its beautifully shown .... same goes with him pointing her that there's gift for her.

Actually what did not work for me
Deletewas the change in dress for Khushi..ur establishing a sequence..START of dream and END of dream, it lacked the seamlessness that such sequences have..
per se i did not have a complaint with Khushi's joy..that would have to be immediate reaction of any girl in love...hearing her man say those words..so ok with that dream seq...only feel it could have been shot better

I went back for the song and then subconsciously the words began to make an impact and I looked at the scene and I realized ki they actually did try to say somthing through the words and scenes.
Whenever they have had a song sequence, Jadoo Hai Nasha (Mutal Attraction), Teri Meri (More Arnav POV?), Aaoge Jab Tum (Khushi POV) its usually been woven with the story.

DeleteI did not have a problem with the song....or its picturisation....it was apt....Khushi was expected to feel elated, joyful on hearing those words and what followed was natural.....
Sounds silly but what i did not like was that the change of dress for that...that seemed odd....i wish they had kept her in that red outfit only from the morn....i know what i am saying is stupid...some of that magic in that sequence was lost for me becos of that abrubt change.....
Kya karen....stupidly looking at things with a microscope....but the comments of the all girls has made me feel better....I went back and saw in diff light....See, the thing is as fas as ARHI is concerned, i am easy to please, i just need words of reassurance and i am back to feeling that WARM FUZZY FEELING(gargi borrowing from u)
oh an done more thing - just had this 'nighmare' - what if ODB is convinced by the kidnapper/RRR that ODG was involved in the kidnapping an d did her part by getting the horrid papers signed!! - Sh*t - don't want another MU brewing :(

ANd the dream scene - note how it starts, it is Arnav who lights the candle, he proves / states the truth and the Khushi who was in the darkness gradually moves out into the light. She sees him in a whole new light as her prince while he sees her true nature - glowing and luminous.
She reaches out for him and he takes her hand willingly, tries to say something to her perhaps offer an explanation but she shushes him..(think HR scene beginning - jab do pyaar karne waale aamne saamne hote hain toh aankhen bolti hain zubaan nahi...)
And he gifts her her dream - of a rajkumar, of a wedding, of being a bride of being someone's wife - pearls of happiness which she willingly accepts and he makes her his in every way

Forgot to add, no Dia, I don't think ODB doubts ODG's sincerity anymore - he just said what he needed to say and that was it kind of! If he had waited for Khushi's response, there would be no letting go of the phone....

DeleteU recall Dia had wondered why they are shooting round teh clock before SI's UK trip - I think it was also to compensate for BS leave plan. So by the time teh frenzy hit, he was midway thru his leave / time share plan I think.
Oh Sandy it’s not ASR trying that got me into splits, It was the guy who got me into ROFL, first they show him in putting the phone in his pocket and holding a gun, then in next shot ASR finds it on the table, then this guy comes, the same guy two days back was in suit equivalent to ASR suit, making us think he would be some rival, then thinking he is Aman (sorry aman), but then today he turns out be a puppet in hands of some Boss. Worst was he saying agar yeh mar gaay oh boss hume maar daalge. “ Kya socha tha or Kya nikala woh ”
ReplyDeleteYes they could have made it better, little more struggle, wake up again and then go back to unconsciousness. And I think the red pom-pom will be the trigger for bitwa’s dimaag to start working or last the reasons for some FB’s.
Twine, the message in the bottle was exactly for 2 reasons one for SOS, next the future track, may be not as dead ASR, but maybe more indication to a separation track. Although it was cute with the ILU in bottle, it lost its charm for me there because, Khushi as per the character would not have known the importance of the message in the bottle – “This is not a goodbye, my darling, this is a thank you. Thank you for coming into my life and giving me joy, thank you for loving me and receiving my love in return. Thank you for the memories I will cherish forever. But most of all, thank you for showing me that there will come a time when I can eventually let you go.” Then it’s beautiful..

Whatever the message with the bottle was, it was beautifully placed at the end, hence the song didn't impress me, it didn't sync with the lyrics there.. more over the editing of that song and lyrics were too bad, very abrupt.

Yep Khushi will not know the message is a SOS. It was in that portion because at that point in the story i will be what you said "not a good bye but a thank you..."
Oh just though of something from the dialkogue u mentioned above - what if just like Khushi has taken it as a SOS, they show us ASR / Arnav thinking of Khushi and how far they have come in terms of that dialogue above where he is finally at peace being able to let her go. (tho not sure if I am too happy about the thot of him letting her go away from him but in my mind the arnav who will feel like a jerk at wrecking her life will be mentally preapred to do so.
As Gargs says - sucks being Arnav!

Deleteon your continued post. The Message In the Bottle will figure at the time, he finally realizes he alone is not the writer of his destiny. And at that time it may seem to him that he is losing Khushi forever - either she is dying or he thinks he is unworthy of he and needs to let her go as she deserves better.
But then when she forgives him and reaches out, it will be the Notebook moment.

U know taking it literally from the movie (sory have not read the book) - the hero learns to let go of his first big love and maybe it refers to arnav being able to let go of those painful memories fo his mother. he thanks her for whatever time he had with her, he thanks her for the good memories he will cherish forever, and he thanks her for sending him khushi and teaching him that he can eventually let go of his mother and in no way dilute the love he feels for her.

DeleteI don't think he's giving up on Khushi ... he was giving up on himself, thinking those might be his last words to her ... and that was why I did want Khushi to give him the slightest hint that she loves him, to give him the josh to fight back ... the way his ILU galvanises her into action.
And his struggling with the ropes didn't quite do it for me ... was he suddenly struggling because he got that hope? After three days of silence? Not able to interpret that part, so I've glossed over it ;)

Imagine the selflessness of Khushi's love, she heard Arnav say those words she has been waiting to hear....and when he says it, she gives in to the moment and yet when she comes back to terra firma, not a hint of dejection that he did not mean it for her......see, how little she expects of him.... and I said yesterday...Arnav expects only from her...what a pair....truly
Rekha - (sorry for butting in )i agree that KKG's love for ODB is selfless - not coz of the reason stated here - but has always been so- she got La back because she thought they were in love, she was even ready to die is his love was La (stupid logic and dangerous message to the youth notwithstanding!)

then there maybe another separation due to Anjali's reaction on knowing true colours of RRR...showing one or two good scenes a week will not help anyway...(now story is moving finally and we are getting good episodes in a row so TRP shud go up...*shiddat*)
Anjali's character is so unpredictable...her reaction to Khushi on tuesday (came out of the ILU scene finally to notice Anjali) was definitely far from her usual soft tones...
i dnt want her character negative...they have shown such a good bro-sis bonding...she cant be like ekta serials sisters separating bro-bhabhi...ok she can be angry for some time but cant blame Khushi for hiding truth as Arnav is in the same boat now...her reaction must be same for both A and K...or will she blame khushi for trapping shyam considering her blind faith in her husband...also Shyam seems to be in no mood to leave Anji(as he said on terrace on weding night) and atually trying to pareshan/harass Khushi in every way possible...showing his true evil face to khushi...
dnt knw how Anjali's reaction will be plyed...so confused over her behaviour...

DeleteAnji is very perceptive but blinded when it is about Arnav or Shyam - then she goes into hyperdrive much like Arnav in anger.
Her first reaction to Khushi would be that I do not believe you over my husband and she may use the times Khushi hid about Arnav with her as CIP. After all it is teh vey people you try to protect who find it the most difficult to understand why u did what u did at times.
Also, by then there could be chances that Shyam will work on Anji's mind and make her insecue about the baby's life or alternatively when she hears about Shyam and Khushi she miscarries and again in a rehash of teh Payash wedding when they try to tell her she has fainted and then again Shyam has an upper hand and the only way to sort matters is for Khushi and Arnav to go away from RM - again a cross Arnav will bear for his sister (it is that dialogue of Aakash; bhai ne socha hoga ki di apne chhote to dhoondhne main poori dilli to jagaah degi -choote cud also mean lil one na)
It will depend on how they interpret Anji's character. She may not go negative but rather be unwittingly destructive as always but later on like Arnav has a period of understanding and repentance bringing back arnav and khushi together. if khushi and arnav are separated at this point it is because khushi will want it for anji's sake and arnav complies but i want him to walk out with her thereby strining teh relationship arnav aji share and bringing that dynamics into evaluation

Deletenote how that scene played out - compare it to the scee when she comes to know she was preggers, it was Arnav and Khushi who stood on 2 ends of the room.
But this time, while the family surounds Anji and Shyam manages to make his way through the family to her whereas Khushi walks away from them all holding onto Arnav (phone).
Arnav whose dor was in the hands of his Di has now been handed over to Khushi and their love witessed by the entire family. (The phone call that Anji receives and then the phone passes from Anji to Nani to Mami to Mama to Aakash and finally to Khushi). Shyam's truth will begin to come in that order I think as far as RMwaasis are concerned and at the end, for Di to not be pareshaan, they will all be told by Arnav "don't let her know. she will be devastated" Unwillingly (Aakash's pensive look) they will all agree for Anji's sake.
Shyam will rejoin the family unaware that they all know about him but are pretending for Anji's sake. By this time Khushi and Arnav will not be around and therein comes Arnav's dialogue to Aakash - take care of Di and 'her nanhi' khuhsi

I have been wondering at some posts in IF(redux probably some time ago) that mentioned Akash being the protector..and the will papers with Shyam not being the one of real significance. My logicla take here is if Shyam has indeed created a forged will, which makes him the rightful holder of properties after ASR...what will be the relevance of any papers done prior to that?Can't quite get that....or u do not subscribe to that theory?

As for Payash scene, looks like Nnani will issue some sort of dhamki which Aakash complies to - not sending Payal away??

DeleteMy take on the fb's is different, not from the POV of things to come ... but ODG actually connecting the dots ... and reading the different facets of his love ...
1. Her engagement ... tumhari sagai ho gayi aur tumne mujhe batana zaroori nahin samjha? ... emphasis on MUJHE ... his possessiveness, that feeling of 'HAQ' ...
2. The night she goes missing with NK ... agar tum uss ambulance mein hoti toh ... tumhe kuch ho jaata to? - his worry if she got hurt, panic at the thought of losing her, again couched in anger ...
3. Diwali ... the almost kiss - finally she thinks as a woman, not as an innocent girl, no acidity and dhak dhak this time ... it's the desire of a man for his woman, his passion ...
Possessiveness, protectiveness (they could have brought in that last fb too at the pool) ... worry, panic at her disappearance ... and desire ... everything a woman wants from her man ... what does it add up to? LOVE ...
and she has finally read the different moods correctly - he cannot express his love with red roses and candlelight ... he expresses it with his anger, his worry, his concern, his protectiveness and his desire ...
Family scene ... yes, I agree ... did you mean the secret will pass from Nani to Mami to Akash ... and all will try to protect Anjali? Not Anjali first, right?
And what struck me also there, was the separation of Arnav and Khushi from the family ... she on the phone with him, and the rest of the family in a separate circle ... leaving ehr and him alone in their bubble ...
so will they be separated from the family for a while because of Shyam's truth? - because Shyam has wormed his way back into the circle by then ...
Chanda ko taakun raaton mein ... I saw it from Khushi's side, because the nainon verse was all Arnav ... and Khushi is the starry-eyed one, but you're right ... it could be taken from either one's perspective ...
what could have been done better -

- Why was OBD trying so hard and yet giving up so easily - but then they showed he fainted - so i guess they wanted to show that his strength gave way (due to low sugar)
- no need for more songs- stick to your tunes (like i said in the earlier post)
In addition :
why did ASR not wait for a response form her? - i have two ideas -
one: Its about him - about him getting it out - telling her in case he does not get another chance - in case she never gets to know that he is crazy about her - there was a definite calm
on his face once he said it - as if a weight had lifted off his shoulders - he was happy (or rather content) that he had finally accepted - to her to himself that she meant the world to him!
two: that if she responded and said 'me too' or something to the effect - he would not be able to let go - would not be able to face death - would become weak
NK coming back - am not such an NK fan - but he def. helped the story move and if he is a replacement for MM - am all for it
and finally - did i mention, i love the couple :D

i had mentioned earlier that the pearls was the beginning of their relationship and the confession, the culmination - the circle is complete - but you out is better - pearls are stung back - together!!
i for one liked the pace - i like it when the story moves fast - a lot of action - good!
wondering if there will be a RTR - separation track? - def want a woo khushi track - purely for ODB to understand that he cant take his wife/love for granted!
ps - also don't think there will be a remarriage - i mean where is the need - they are married - the MG and sindoor done - the world knows and accepts - and if there is a PP - then its in the name of Mrs. ASR (hence the ease for visa etc) - so it is formal too - and in their own heads too, they are husband and wife (a waring one at present - yet a couple!)
Dia fantastic edit! Loved your take on Pearls strung back - lovely, think for me the whole approach to the song was wrong, at first watch It was all about from Khushi pov and hence I said song didn't sync. But then reading yours and sandy's take, yes it fits well.

Dia I think the pace will start slowing from next week, they will take whole searching till 6th June, to coincide it with Arhi meeting in Sheesh Mahal.
And girls I want Khushi to get the last clue to reach him that is the place from Bitwa .. Something to tell her its sheesh mahal that is if he really holed up by the third party/chacha.. .. or it might turn that they are in the GH, or if shyam has kidnapped ( which I still doubt) shyam jha's non existing house which Anji was planning to renovate few days back..
have a hunch - RRR is the villain - through and through - i too would like another addition - a chacha types - a blast from the past to join hands with RRR - but my fear is teh CVs wont add to the cast.

ReplyDeleteremember her nightmare the first day of judaai? she found pearls, she found a key, she found her payal... all the while listening to arnav calling her.
the pearls, call them pearls of wisdom.. little ones come from nani (he punishes himself when he's wrong) and anjali (you love him).. but the one to string up those pearls and put it on her neck.. arnav, with his I love you, sealed their lovestory. Now, whatever happens, she is sure of their love.... so one loop closed.
i did not like the dream sequence.. NOT because of its cheesiness, (that is to be expected from khushi.. remember her other dreams? dilli ki autorickshaw, judgement day) but because of the slow moves .. almost did a DABH there with the superslow emoting and moving... to match the song i guess.. (sandy, really good matching of the song and the scene in yoour post!) barun is some bits looked tortured to be doing this super cheesy thing.. almost gritting his teeth and smiling for the sake of smiling.
and if khushi changed and went to bed, then she had this dream..would have made a lot more sense.\\and all the terrble placement!! one moment he is in the room lighting candles, then she's getting the pearls inside the room, and she runs in from the other side of the pool?//okay, maana ki this is a dream.. yet, a little continuity... directorji??
found it heartbreakingly sad that no one in the family offered khushi even a hug that her fears have been laid to rest. .. considering that they all witnessed her trouble the past 3 days.
