The Power of Communication ... if Khushi does manage to tell Arnav about Shyam's plans after all ... now I don't believe a single spoiler about getting the signature blah blah ...
But if Khushi does manage to tell Arnav about Shyam's plans, then it shows she has learned one very important lesson - TALK ...
Yesterday I felt that Khushi understood where she had gone so horribly wrong - by keeping silent about Shyam for far too long. And today it seems she did realise her mistake, and tried to make sure she wouldn't repeat it. So the girl is smart - she learns from her mistakes ... unlike Bitwa, who repeats the same mistakes ad infinitum!
So I liked the episode from start to finish (umm, make that minus the BPA bits) ... Khushi refusing Shyam's offer less than politely ... Arnav doesn't like coffee served by HP any more now that he's used to sitting en familie over garam garam adrak chai and gol guppas fed by the fair hands of his biwi ... Manorama calling to check about Arnav's well-being in his sasuraal, a tad belatedly, I thought, now that he's back home ... and being given a smart aleck remark about Bitwa having returned to school, so obviously he'd be a bit unhappy :)) ...
Even the button scene, although cliched was good ... the new Rabba ve is growing on me, I love the words and I liked the tune today ... the sad tones are more apt for their current situation ...
loved Khushi's dialogue about the dhaga being forced zabardasti into her hands, but she will try to hold on to it anyway ...
And Bitwa continues to be blind ... a disappointment, he is becoming a typical SP hero eye candy and not much else! :( Good thing for the time being, as he's going to be missing in action the next week or two!
Khushi-Shyam war is out in the open now ... Shyam seems to have decided that Khushi comes a distant second to Lady Money ... besides, now that Khushi is firmly aligned on Team Arnav, he's stymied ...
And the Khushi we love is back ... emotional, yes ... driven by her heart, yes ... but not stupid, no ... able to put two and two together and come up with four ... all the questions I asked yesterday, she asked Shyam today and declined his kind services, thank you very much ... now that he wasn't expecting, since he has pretty much everyone in RM tightly wound around his little finger, including Arnav! Am so glad the cv's remembered that he did the same in GH ... except with Khushi - he was never able to sweet-talk her into agreeing with his plans ... right up to the engagement and even after it ...
So a very satisfactory episode for me :)) ... and for all Khushi fans!
And if the next ten days is going to be about an all out Shyam Khushi war, it will be fun ... and the TRP's should go up ... nothing the audience likes better than a strong Devi Maiyya heroine getting the better of a villain!

I stand vindicated on more than one count today :) ... have been pleading for more screen space for all the supporting characters for some time ... It took Barun's impending absence for the cv's to realize that they can't run the story on a flimsy MU between ArHi alone ... and finally they brought back all the other characters in their true forms (all except Bubbly-Payash :( ... but who's bothered about them anyway ;) )
First scene ... I went "YES!!! That's my girl!!!"
Remember all the Khushi-Shyam interactions - GH and Shyam staying as PG with the Guptas ... while Buaji fawned over Shyam, Khushi was wary right from the start - friendly, but wary ... and never crossed an invisible boundary with him ... she resisted his sweet-talking about marriage, she said a blunt 'no' to his face, repeated it to BG ad infinitum and gave in only after her own heartbreak ... when he asked her to stop working at RM, she refused him pointblank, even though he was her fiance at the time ... when he tried to convince her that he was down-trodden henpecked husband, she saw through him and told him to stop his play-acting. The cv's made her into a caricature with Arnav, but I am so glad and relieved they remembered what she was really like with Shyam ... and stuck to it. She has NEVER been taken in by his sweet-talking, in fact the only person who hasn't ... and she wasn't again. She may be an emotional fool, but she has one trait .. she listens, takes her time to think things through, and then makes her decision. So she did it again ... listened to what Shyam had to say, heard all his persuasions and glib arguments ... and then calmly and firmly turned him down ... because she wasn't ready to do anything deceitful. How could she do it? She is not deceitful ... period. She may be silly, a prankster, naughty and mischievous, but deceitful and a liar, she is not. As Anjali pointed out later in the episode, she is incapable of lying.
And she is smart enough to figure out that Shyam is keen to get the signatures, and not so altruistic that he wants her to get them only to help her out. And she's not prepared to deceive Arnav in any way, whatsoever.
So a flat 'NO. I won't do it.'
Leaving one frustrated slimeball behind. His glib talking works on everyone but her.

And again, the letting out of his feelings to Khushi was a catharsis of sorts ... because now for the first time, he has started thinking beyond it ... when he thinks about Shyam and Khushi, it's not the terrace scene he remembers, but her protestations of innocence, her hurt at his accusations, her story of how Shyam deceived her and her family, and even Shyam's growing boldness in front of the entire family ... the contradictions between what he believed to be the truth, and what she told him piling up ... and frustrating him more and more ... what is the truth?! What he saw that night and Shyam corroborated? or what Khushi told him?
Bitwa, there are some ways of checking up on Khushi's story, you know ... more fruitful than just sitting there and stewing ... and biting HP's head off when he gives you coffee, instead of the adrak chai he just got used to with Buaji and Garima fussing over his wants and needs all the time ...
So he gets up and walks off ... leaving the R ladies perturbed ... why is Chotey again in a foul mood ... ever since he got back from his sasuraal, in fact ...
Nani and Anjali worried ... Mami decides to check with Buaji ... and humour is back with a tongue in cheek biting conversation and barely veiled insults delivered with cheery smiles from Buaji, leaving Mami spluttering ... her barbs deflected with ease and new ones delivered ... your babua got more love here than he does in his own home ... =))
Anjali is closer to the mark about Arnav's anger ... and Khushi's upset ... so she tackles Khushi with some more marital advice (last person who should be giving marital advice, considering her own slimeball hubby, but she means well, and she recognizes Khushi's upset when no one else does) ... Arnav can't handle these fights, he gets upset, you need to keep patience ...
Arnav's button comes off ... Khushi picks it up, but he goes to change his shirt, Anjali plays Cupid again ... sewing a button on always leads to LOWE ... she's watched all the right movies =))

He asked her when she first found out Shyam's truth to tell him what the matter was ... he asked her on the bridge why she didn't tell him, why she kept quiet ... thank god it looks like Khushi has learned her lesson ... he has shown his willingness to listen, she needs to tell him ... and now she doesn't need to hide anything because he knows it all ...

So when the truth breaks, will Anjali believe Khushi after all? Anjali is the most unpredictable player in this game, the cv's can turn her any which way ...
And RRR comes in in all his slimy glory for one last attempt at persuading Khushi ... Arnav is angry, the need for compromise to appease his anger, do some give and take, put aside your own ego ... if you try your best, the other side will try their best for you too ...
It seemed that Anjali was not happy with his lecture and his interfering in her brother's personal matter ... she didn't say much more, but just left ...
Abhaas was very good in this scene ... slimy to the core :))
And as Khushi goes to shut the door (good move, their bedroom has begun to resemble a railway platform, anyone can enter any time :( ) ... Shyam comes again for one last shot ... this is in your best interest, not mine ... I will manage to get that signature in any case ...
I have a feeling that last move was the decider ... in reverse ... Common sense dictates that whenever someone says what he's doing is in your best interest, not his, then you can be sure it's in his best interest and not yours ... on top of which, Shyam gave away the fact that he planned to get Arnav's signature by hook or by crook ... probably the latter ...
And Khushi is a smart cookie ... she puts two and two together right away ... and off she goes to Arnav's office ... :)

Khushi goes to AR, ASR in meeting about London plant ... switching scenes between Khushi telling Arnav about Shyam's signature plans ... and Arnav blowing his top about his meeting being interrupted ... neither is addressing the other ... unfortunately, Khushi is addressing Shyam ...
SN - how did Shyam get into Arnav's office? And that too, cabin? Hasn't Arnav ordered him to be forbidden entry yet? Lax, Arnav ... very lax!
And gloves are now completely off between Shyam and Khushi ... Shyam knows he will get no help from Khushi on any plan of his, now or in the future, no point even trying, and even worse, she will warn Arnav of any move she sees him make ... so he makes haste to threaten her to keep her quiet ... somehow with Khushi, don't think that will work ...
And Khushi knows he is up to no good at all ... and it's not just about her any more ...
So mind games between Shyam and Khushi while Arnav sits quietly in his cell and ponders on who the real villain is? That seems to be the menu for the next week or two ... sounds good, bring it on! The pluses:
Khushi bluntly refuses Shyam, TWICE.
Buaji gives an awesome answer to Mami.
Mami out of concern calls up Buaji to figure out what is wrong, underneath all that harsh words,lies a deep concern for Arnav.
Anjali instantly guessing something wrong between between Arhi and approaching Khushi and tries to help.
Fixing Button*head desk* I mean come on yaar, we have seen this sooooo many times.
Loved her dialogue today, I didn't want to get tied down, but now that I am...I don't want to let it go.
Bitwa thinking always a good sign but why not in his room, why in front of everyone, hangover from GH where he is used to sitting with the family.

Deletewas so happy watching the scene precap, thought gr8 finally she mentioned it.....but thought too soon......shyam is so overconfident of his win that he actually sits in ASR's chair.......
ASR will definitely see them together and MU, but good that she will mention that they were to talk to him, probably thats why they were waiting for shyam at the airport....ASR must've asked her to call shyam to airport......
but does she still think he will come n clear the doubt ?
But finally Shyam's mask is completely off, in-front of Khushi.....now with the kidnapping happening, khushi will link it directly to Shyam.......
Geetu, In the airport scene she is in pink and he is in blue I think, so it happens the next day. Besides nice touch by the CVs, the PPT had something about London.

maybe she lies to shyam that she has taken the signature.....on the airport bitwa doesn't wait for shyam...shyam after reaching late asks for the papers which bitiya refuses to give or tells him that she doesnt have it with him....and shyam who had him kidnapped to kill, asks the goons to hold him hostage as he still doesnt have the will with him....

I thought they are dragging Khushi again into a mindless zone but her every move was well thought of .. declining SS to being a good wife against her wishes (because that's what a girl of character does! Arrogant Arnav mind it!) .. to inform her husband of SS evil moves and as the show is progressing now she will even save your life, your business empire and your family.

I love buaji's dialogue also .. "who kya hai naa chuttiyon ke baad school jaana pasta hai to baccha those din udas he rehta hai .. Arnav at GH was relaxed from from his responsibilities and received only love and support .. now that he has come back he is back into taking care of Di and business et al .. Me too want ghar ke besan ke laddoo!!

You like Buaji's Adrak chai wala line too, for just before she says, its HP who gets Arnav coffee, and he asks while in GH it was always Buaji or Garima coming to him asking him if he needs anything else, while in RM all his Di Nani and Mami were just watching him lose his temper at HP. even his Di juice offer was not of love or concern but just another offer.. loved it to core.

Khushi was always street-smart ... and she would think first before she acted on anything important ... even when she exposed Shyam, she waited till she was absolutely sure, when he tried to sweet-talk her about Anjali's demon-wife ways, she listened, observed and then made up her mind ...
She did the same here ... heard him out completely yesterday, and then turned down his offer today after pointing out the logical flaws in it :)))
But I think she can shoulder the show on her own for longer than Barun can ... and the cv's seem to think so too ... we never noticed Sanaya's absence on screen during her UK trip, because they made sure Khushi was on screen all the time!!! For Barun, they have him kidnapped to explain his absence ... and carry on with the story. Of course, partly because it's a longer absence ... but also because Khushi is connected to every single character in the show, while Arnav is connected mainly to Khushi and Di ... and these days it's less Di, much more Khushi ...

If Arnav and Khushi are creations, she should know where they are headed right, what should be happening. It is like JK rowling asking for the readers input for the sixth book or something.
She also said do not write scene or we want Arhi together, but more of a story line lasting 50-100 episodes.
Shouldn't they be hiring professionals for that purpose?
Why ask us, Why can't they take 3 days and watch their own show to realize what the show was and where it should be headed?

Totally agree Shwetha............I thought it was a bit off too but this might just be a PR ploy given the amount of venting people have done on Lalit Mohan's FB page and the kind of response that has been posted on IF and other places. I also remember when IPKKND was initially launched, Nissar Parvez was particular in commenting that it was important as a PH to unfold the story as they had conceived it rather than let the emotionally charged viewers hold sway. Frankly speaking, if they have seriously run out of ideas, then they should just wrap up the serial. Given IPKKND's popularity there will be umpteen number of stories, but the layered richness that comes from its creation will be missing......

June: Keep it happy, Confession, Apologies from both ends from Arnav for every hurt he has caused her and from khushi too for not telling him earlier and conceding that he is not fully wrong about the world too.
Keep it happy, let Arhi bond in June, have them Talking to each other, about each other and about what to do ahead. Shyam notices everything gets more desperate and slowly tries to create distance between Anjali and Arnav.
July: Akash comes to know the truth. Payash have an argument over this with Arnav stepping in and diffusing the tension. Brainstorming session at the Guptas on what to do with decision being taken that Akash will pretend that he does not know a thing and Payash keeping an eye on Khushi and Anjali while Arnav Khushi figure out a way to tackle Anjali.
August: Rest of the R family knows and Anjali starts suspecting something is wrong. Confrontation, Teej is supposed to be around August or something right, so for the emotional audience, truth comes out about Shyam around Teej.
September: War. First round Shyam succeeds in manipulating and isolating Anjali from the rest of the family. Tension between Anjali and Arhi till Khushi decides to leave.
October: Anjali has her menthos moment, realizes Shyam is a scumbag and throws him out around Navaratri taking the Durga Maiyya Avatar.
After that either end the show or show Anjali however heartbroken rebuilds her life slowly and steadily. If need be introduce some guy for her, a psychiatrist, every character needs one anyway, so all good.
This sounds fair enough, if I may say so myself:)

DeleteThe vision for this story will hardly be 5 pages long....But that 5 page vision, if it is a powerful one, of which i have no doubt needs to be translated scene by scene on an everyday basis...its tough act if u are not wedded to the vision...and esp if its daily soap
So writers need to understand Gul's vision before they start writing....Ved kind of guys only make it worse...when they have not even understood their lead's characterstics...

DeleteSo Shyam is exposed, but he manages to run away from justice ... and goes to work at a rival firm which happens to be headed by a mysterious Mr X, who is out to ruin AR. Khushi starts working at AR (and studying alongside) in Accounts - as she has been shown as handling her babuji's accounts earlier - she doesn't start at the top obviously, but in the field. And discovers someone has been working for the enemy ...
Mr X turns out to be Arnav's father who ran away with another woman, mom committed suicide out of shame.
Khushi's mom was Arnav's mom companion ... or used to look after Anjali and Arnav as kids and Khushi was allowed to play in the house with them in childhood ... She died in an accident the same time as Arna's mom died, and at first the R family blamed her for the tragedy in some way ... haven't thought that out fully ;)
Don't want them to be antagonists again ... but it should appear that way at first, till the entire story unfolds :)

Good plot Swetha. I think if the PH remember their own story there is enough stuff to pull on for more than 100 episodes. No show can run for long solely based on the leads. They need to have strong supporting characters. What happened to Dhruv who was mentioned earlier? Have they dropped him like they did Vicky in their previous show? Arnav's past has still not come out. This can be unraveled in bits and pieces. Maybe they can have Barun play the Dad in his younger days. If Khushi's past is connected to Arnav as was touted earlier then San can also play Khushi's mom. Of course they will have to make it out to be a huge misunderstanding and that there was never really an affair between their parents. Otherwise it would seem incestuous. Or maybe Garima was the connection to their pasts. She is supposed to have some past baggage. Given that of late her character has been strengthened this could well be a line worth pursuing. Arshi helping Anjali rebuild her life after Shyam itself can take up a month or more. Arshi should have a rewedding once they confess their feelings and the wedding preparations itself can take up a month with Shyam's plot to thwart their plans coming to nought. They need to get Sashiji out of his wheelchair and enlightening everyone of what a dangerous criminal Shyam really is. This can then lead up to Arshi trying to get Shyam imprisoned and the court trial can take up another month. Given that Shyam is a wily lawyer he may do his best to come out of this one too but in the end gets caught in his own web of lies. The nail in his coffin should be driven by Anjali who may then finally get over the scumbag. We do need someone good for her too. So Anjali and her new beau can take up another month with Arshi trying to help in the process or can have Arshi having a difference of opinion on the suitability of the match and get back to being Tom and Jerry. In all their bickerings, they realise how lucky they are to have found each other and Anjali needs to have a good partner too and then work together towards it. So there is endless possibilities to keep the show going for a good six months or more without resorting to the silly MU we had to witness for more than three months. IF even with these ideas they cannot come up with an interesting plot, they should just shut shop.

I would like to have an irony here. Something like K parents opening a secret to A's mother , - may be that his father was associated with some illegal things and got arrested by K's father on the engagement day(may be it was all his uncle doing but that will be good for Dia plot of Arhi's mom being friends and also of A's father/uncle being a rival to AR where shyam would be employed now) which would have lead to his mother death's. ekkkkkkks Sounds too E-show !!! na i can't think anything good !! You guys are excellent with the plots, I would rather prefer just to Ditto to all your ideas!!!
I agree wholeheartedly that somewhere they have to have a re-marriage of Arhi with all the rasams and rituals - and they should do that around Diwali ... good time, auspicious, festive, and is the anniversary of the time they fell in love - also will wipe out the bad memories of the previous Diwali.

Regarding the past, I would like something about whenK's parents died - maybe they were killed by Arnav's wicked chacha for disclosing some dirty secrets, and K witnessed something incriminating ... so Garima took her away for her own safety ... of course she was a child at the time, but 8 yrs is old enough to have some memories.

K's father filing a case against A' father and getting him arrested on Anji's wedding day can be taken up....its connects so many dots.....Raizada's never liked A's father, maybe because his family was doing something illegal and he covered up for them......and A will hold a grudge against K as her father was the reason his mom committed suicide......later on they can reveal that it was all done by his chachu who wanted to takeover the property and business so he timed A's father arrests on anji's wedding day, killed the A's mother (who was just crying in her room) and threw the kids out and as k's father wanted to dig out the secret, they were also killed by A's chachu.....

During the whole Sasuraal nahin jaaongi track, Remember he took Akash aside for a "deal".
1.Well I would love it if Arnav has told Akash everything about Shyam and it is why Akash is unusually irritated with Payash.
2. Akash knows nothing about Shyam, but Arnav takes Akash into confidence and transfers all the properties in Akash's name.
So even if Shyam succeeds in getting the signatures from Arnav either now or when he is kidnapped, it will be of no use cos technically Arnav does not own anything.
Everything is in Akash's name. So Shyam will end up getting nothing. And if Arnav has formulated a will in the form of a letter explaiing everything to Akash, sonay pay suhaaga cos anyhow properties are in Akash's name.

the CV pulled KKG's character from the life support system they had out her on yesterday and the villain has returned as the creewpa - from of the once a week weakling - he actually is now once in every frame creepwa!! yipee yipee
- loved that KKG turned down creepwa - not once but twice - now this is the KKG i love! (if only they had shown him coming to her help on the paper - instead of her going to him! and him being the creepwa it would have been expected, all would have been fine!)
- now even if she goes into her 'scared' mode for a bit - that is fine, she always does that after every catastrophe and then stands up like a phoenix - right :D
- so glad she told - or atleast tried to warn ODB - we had expected/wanted that - the sign of ODG coming back to life!! - (yesterday there were numerous posts to the effect! :D)
- really felt like hitting Payal today - your sister senses you are troubled by just passing by and you cant see a thing!! even DI is trying to help and you self obsessed woman sees nothing - one dialogue is not good enough, specially when you know all that has happen in KKG's past!

Deletethe stylist has to remember that SI is very thin (dont mean it in a bad way!) and that proportion is everything..they cant stuff her up in one place...the clothes they gave SI last month..those pinks, blues etc were very ill fitting around the bodice.. for me.. they got lucky coz SI is soo pretty that she can get away with anything!!
really? - the mehndi scenes - loved her dress (cream and pink) but did not like her hair at all - and that dark makeup made her look so old - SI is a beautiful girl - she looks good in anything - but looks best in yellow - the bangles wala day - yellow suit, good makeup and a pony on the side - she looked simply awesome!

2) who is in charge of the bubbly track? I see everyone from IF to Rangmunch complaining about that track, but it is still going strong.. growing stronger! is it just natkhat nandkishore pestering yashoda maiyya or is it something else? the director seems hell bent on making "bubbly" perform with a definite vicious angle. and someone (dont know who) said that she will get arshi closer.. but at least they are keeping the track in short bits.. thank you, CVs, for reducing the torture time.
3) perfect bollywood button-sewing scene.. but now, they (SaRun) own it.. like i never see kareena in teri meri anymore( I see arnav singing.. *THUD*), I wont ever watch a button sewing scene in the future without remembering the raw pain in these two. (applause) and that rabba ve was sone pe suhaga.

have to say - you have to like Anjali - she is genuinely worried about her brother and his wife (and very typically puts the burden of the relationship on her sister in law and not the brother - very typical! though sweetly done!)
glad the gloves are off between ODG and TF - now it can be war - a war where she does not need to hide anything from ODB either - yipee!
ps. - i don't think ODB was lax - he could not have asked anyone in his office to bar his only BIL (who in the eyes of the world is the best BIL around!!) to come into his office- plus the office was dark - so TF was using the space when no one expected him there!

SN: I know it was done in jest and was the perfect answer for mami's barbs but i did not like the fact that buaji insinuated that ODB was not loved at RM - that is unfair - he is treated like a lord, yes but he is loved by everyone from Akash to nani and even mami in her own way is very much in love with both Anjali and her brother. they may not be demonstrative but they are there for him - that was the diff between GH and RM for me - the only flaw the people have listened to the raksha and let him take care of everything - thereby making his already strong personality into the 'autocrat' - that's why KKG is his soulmate - while she understand and values his leadership quality she is not daunted by it!
i don't know, maybe its just me or did someone else also feel so too

Since the whole shoot is for 40 days in total.. he might not quit IPK at present.
Just hope that if he quits IPK now , the PH wraps up the show. Pls no replacement or ASR/Arnav dead. I would be happy with happy ever after and switch to next show. Am sure the fan girls will not accept replacement even its the best actor in the block.

Aaru, PH will not wrap up IPKKND if Barun quits now. They will get a replacement ... for all you know, they may already be casting a look around. Because a show can't fall prey to the whims and fancies of a single actor, it's a team effort, and the livelihood of a few hundred people.
DeleteWhy I think Barun's move is a bit premature - Barun has succeeded because of ASR the character. The character ASR is the real hero - not Barun Sobti, although he has played him very well too, no doubt. Contrast this with Sanaya - in spite of Khushi being NOT such a well-etched character, she has made her popular - much like Gunjan. Sanaya is still a tad bigger than Khushi - or I would say, the popularity gap between Sanaya the actress and Khushi the character is not so great. Sanaya has brought some of herself into Khushi, which makes her so loveable (she did the same with Gunjan) ... while Barun is nowhere near ASR ... he is just the face of ASR.
Also, which makes this even more dangerous for him, he has made ASR so well-recognised that if he does step out, many actors will be very willing to step into his shoes ... the character and the show are so popular, anyone will want to try their luck. And if they succeed, public memory is short ... BS will be forgotten quite quickly, definitely before his movie releases in Jan '13 - that's a long time away!
His replacement will take a while to get accepted - no doubt. But eventually, IF he's a good actor (and like I said, good actors will be willing to try for the role), and even more importantly, he looks good with Sanaya (not difficult, she makes the worst actors look good with her), then he will be able to take over.
Die-hard Barun fans might stop watching the show. But ArHi fans will give it a shot, Sanaya fans, including myself, will continue watching ... though it will take a while to adjust. I remember, even watching Barun with Sanaya took a little while to get used to. And fans of the show will also continue watching ... this is a simple love story, and that's why it has universal appeal. It all depends on how good the new actor is.
Also, I'm pretty sure Barun knows there would be many people waiting to step into his shoes if he does leave ... so he will be very cautious about leaving as well. I don't think he will leave right now - the movie is just not big enough.
After his movie release, and IF it does well, he probably will ... because he will get more offers too. And that gives the PH enough time to either wrap the story, or again find a good replacement - heck, they could even work ASR's death and a new hero completely for Khushi into the story ...

one blooper that was glaringly obvious.. in the button scene, khushi's background shows a krishna picture.. that one definitely belongs in anjali's room.

Jaya agree that nowadays passport are issued for 20 yrs. but the blooper is that his passport was issued in 2006 when they issued it for only ten years. they should have either had right issue date or expriy date.

Agreed - it was great to finally see that the CVs have decided to use rest of the cast members in this serial, FINALLY! The Bubbly-Payash triangle doesn't bother me as much since I view it as I think the CVs may be in the process of crafting a parallel story line for the brothers being deceived by "seeming innocence". In the case of Arnav, it was Shyam and in Akash's case, it is Bubbly. Both create/ manipulate situations wherein they maximise personal advantage. If you notice, even Akash doesn't give Payal an opportunity to explain - he summarily passes judgement in favour of Bubbly and walks away. If the Bubbly-Payash scenario is in there to serve as a mechanism to take the blinkers of both brothers as they come to terms with deceit in their own family, then they can be a stronger and united front to provide support to Anjali when she is faced with Shyam's true nature, thereby helping her to recover from this.

Barun needs to read this blog .. we have been giving him good advice for ages :) Dialogue delivery, enunciation, media presentation, dance lessons ... everything!

All the attention was on him, and he came across very, very inept. Even the girl was more savvy in describing her Mr Right ... he just clammed up. Not impressive at all :(

Another thing I noticed - in telly interviews (not the SBS ones, but the print ones), he has no qualms about mentioning his wife ... here when asked about his Mrs Right, why didn't he say he's already got her?
And the key question - it was would he leave tv for films, and he said he doesn't know, no plans blah blah ... not leave IPKKND.

DeleteYeterdays epi was all about SI and Abhaas, two of the best actors in the show. As much as I hate Shyam, but his portrayal by Abhas is brilliant. He is not the typical villain with foul body language . He speaks with an elegance and still can make it sound creepy!
DeleteAnd SI was brilliant, she just has to speak with her eyes. Her emotional scenes are beautiful, completely heart wrenching. SARUN looked cute like a button in the button scene!
Hopefully, ASR's kidnap does him good and he is able to see the innocence of his wife. I so want a separation track where ASR has to devise 101 ways to woo his Khushi back.
And I hope this kidnap track makes BS realize also what he is missing when he does the movie. And what a great pair he and SI make! Well him and shenaz didnt look good at all! she was all so flashy, show off BW style and BS seemed so simple and not so BW types. Although its his personal choice, I think he chose a mediocre movie for his debut (hope I am right!!). IPK caliber is much higher than the cast of his new movie.
Yeah I agree BS needs some media training - all his SBS/SBB interviews are so casual sometimes- typical next door Punjabi munda which I adore but then I am always like dude you are on TV. In contrast SI even when humorous brings a seriousness and charm, which forces the viewers to look at her again and again.

I mean BS, you wear the wedding band all the time, everyone knows you are married. Its not like if you say something which your wifey doesnt like, she is going to divorce you!
DeleteCase in point- there was this TT interview where they asked random nonsensical questions. The first question was about a pick up line he would use in a bar- BS got defensive and said he is married so he has no pick up line and SI will answer. I thought, just because SI is unmarried she can have a pick up line which she would like!. Well then the interviewer said its hypothetical. And still he didnt answer and SI answered ,then he said something with her jokingly.
I am of the opinion that if you are a TV/movie star who is there to entertain, you should be able to answer these questions with good humor and attitude. SI even in relationship, always answers the questions tactfully without bringing Mohit in picture!

I read an iv recently where she was asked a whole bunch of crazy personal questions - she handled them beautifully. And even the snippet I saw of her UK tour - again, very smart and confident ... that girl is just wow!
Yep, yesterday Abhaas was very good again ... he disproved what I said about him just a couple of days ago!
If this new track is about mind games between Shyam and Khushi while Arnav goes missing, it should be good ... just hope they show enough shots of Arnav rotting in his prison cell wherever and getting the right fb's to kickstart his dimaag, so that we get our ArHi doses too :)

Dia agreed with what you said about the show, and being a Sanaya fan myself would still watch the show, but it would be good if they wrap up without replacement, i know that it isn't easy to drag or shut shop immediately. And as i said its all testing uncharted areas.
DeleteBS knows that ASR is a role which is like a gold mine, he would think thrice before quiting hence the working arrangements. If he really wanted to quit he would have already done by now. like Shushant and others, he is being careful, hence a low budget flim, which works or doesn't but you may get noticed if you are good at your work.
Dia don't talk about ST arggh, I remember meeting her once at MTV office during my college days, she has Ego more than ASR, its like i know am better than you kind of types.. thats why am not very happy with BS doing this with, then that was 15yrs back so maybe she changed.
but then may be working with ST he might think twice abt BW !! ... like they say when to get the real dose !!
Sanaya and Mohit have got their doses of BW, Dia and they know how it works and they aren't ready for that as of now. So am sure Sans would have encouraged him to get a first hand about it with a small moive. When you are with a big banner the expectation is also high from the viwers, so for me he has taken a right risk, but the timing is little off.
But more than acting its the PR that matters, to have the balance of both the worlds, like we said yesterday, Ram and Ronit have balanced it well even when they were still contd working for telly.

Sorry can't contribute to the discussion on the lead for BS movie...as i don't know anything abt her...tho she resembles a girl who used be a VJ on MTV long ago...is she the one? if so...i agree with all here, she can get on ur nerves.....

this is the turning point in ASR's dimaag. the dimaag ki batti lights at this point... =so ASR thinks that she fell in love with him after he married her. she will be faithful to him BECAUSE he is her husband..
and he feels intense guilt at throwing her stars and their photo.. and look at her face... the amount of grief there.. its not a matter that can be healed by another "sorry!" his guilt makes him flee.. he needs to escape this overflow of emotions that is clouding his eyesight.
