I remember one episode earlier during the La track which left me feeling unutterably sad ... just very, very sad, as though someone close to me was undergoing everything I saw on screen. Today it happened again. Khushi's helplessness as she waited determinedly the whole day for Arnav ... Bitwa, you're so gonna kick yourself if ever you realize why she was waiting for you ... Shyam's evilness fully exposed ... as he pushes Khushi again and again for that elusive signature ...
And the saddest part ... Khushi removes all signs of herself from the room ... and Arnav can't stand it ... AND she decides to sleep outside ... and he can't stand that either ... Bitwa, then why didn't you talk to her in office? Itna shor machaya ki why didn't you tell me, then when she tries to tell you something, you make it so tough for her ...
And why couldn't she tell him later in their room ... unless by that time she had convinced herself that Shyam was right and this was the only way ... please, Khushi, no ... show those brains you showed yesterday and I was so proud of ...
I so hope there is a twist in all this, Khushi does tell Arnav the truth about the file, and he decides to call Shyam on it, so he agrees to sign ... and then does the disappearing act himself ...
One more little hint of the past ... Arnav's trip to London, Anjali saying you don't need to do this, he says I do it every year ... the envelope she gives him ...
And more P-MLP ...
Sanaya in emotional scenes is still unbeatable ... she makes you feel her sadness and pain ... and Barun complements her so well ... makes it worse ...

A quick edit, as on re-watch, the episode was full of Reptilewa ... the two Arshi scenes were so sad, though that they were all I could remember at the end of the episode. These two actors are just amazing ... no wonder no other parallel tracks work in IPK, no one else stands a chance of making any impact whatsoever once BS/SI get going ...
So episode starts with yesterdays scene, Shyam's face exposed to Khushi in all it's true ugliness ... so he also knew what she would do. And warns her - don't cooperate if you like, but don't get in my way either. Otherwise he will tell Arnav a pack of lies ... and Arnav will believe him.
So Khushi still decides to wait for Arnav ... SN, the office staff is much more appropriately dressed than during La's time.
And she waits, and waits ... the girl who had no hesitation in barging into meetings, into his office, now waits patiently outside the whole day, desperate for one hearing ... still managing a sweet half-smile for the guy who brings her water ... and looking up hopefully, despairingly, pleadingly when he finally gives way and looks directly at her ...
Bitwa, you're doing it again ... you never gave her a hearing the first time around, and you're repeating your mistake again ... the first time you judged and condemned her without even a trial, here, you heard her defense and then ignored it completely, without even sifting through the evidence, or doing any investigation. And no amount of sad backward looks and hidden longing glances can mitigate that fact. That RTRW just added more and more miles to it.
And a few hundred more when he drove away without waiting to hear what she had to say ... umm, Bitwa, do you remember that yesterday, you asked her WHY she didn't tell you anything about Shyam? why she kept quiet? You just got part of your answer ...
And Shyam is waiting patiently for Khushi ... again the smart villain, made sure to hang around and keep track of what happens between them ... am sure if she had managed to speak to Arnav, he would have barged in instantly and started on his lies ... ODB really is guilty of pushing Khushi towards Shyam each and every single time!!!
So Shyam makes full use of the opportunity ... an already dispirited Khushi is really at her wits' end what she should do ... she has to convince him somehow, she can't bear his mistrust ... and the only route she has is ... Shyam. The only other person who knows the truth ...
So she takes the file ...
She wants to read the papers first though ... Shyam agrees instantly ... a first for a SP bahu? So he has obviously doctored the papers, or thinks she won't understand them well enough.
(Some Mami P-MLP crap ... Mami knows Payal is not a bhoot now, Payal finds Bubbly's discarded bandage and tries to put it back - yuck, hygiene, Payal!)
Back at RM - did she read them? Shyam in a hurry ... she sends him packing ... not before he threatens her again ... Khushi, really, you'd better know he's up to no good at all now ... don't take those signatures!!!
Arnav can't sit in his own room and work now ... too many memories ...
Anjali gives him an envelope, and asks if it's necessary to do all this, because we're all here, aren't we ... but he says he does this every year ... she nods understandingly ...
Shades of the past?
Finally goes back to his room ... only to be hit by ... absence of wind chimes, absence of stars ... even the Salman Khan poster is missing ... his cupboard is back to its drab browns and blacks ... all the light and color gone from his room ... as she slowly withdraws herself from his life ... because she doesn't have the right any more to be here ... she never did ...
Sign of things to come, Bitwa ... even when she's still here, you're already missing her things ... what will you do when she herself goes missing?
He won't be able to handle it, that's for sure .. he already can't ... how dare she remove anything, how dare she make changes without his permission?!
That's what she did ... she's trying to rectify her mistake now ...
And he doesn't know what to reply to that one ... but he does know he doesn't like her this way ... he doesn't like her 'bechari' avatar any more than he likes her 'swami' one or her irritating one ... even less, in fact much less ...
And when she goes to sleep outside, that's the last straw ... he will not allow that!!! So back to status quo ... she on bed, he on recliner ...
Bitwa, the night you married her, you threw her out yourself, you couldn't bear to be in the same room as her - remember? So what has changed? Has she? Or have you? Have those doubts started creeping in that she can't be what you've been thinking she is? That you could actually have been mistaken? And that for once in your life, you want to be mistaken? You desperately want to have made a mistake on this one ... you want her to be telling the truth, you want to believe the penitence, the despair, the sadness in her eyes ...
And as Khushi sleeps, her eyes go to the file again ... is that the only way to prove her innocence?
Fingers crossed ... c's, please don't go the cliched way on this ... one googly desperately wanted here ... and the idiot cv's didn't even show us the real precap x( - they showed the promo shot instead, so we have no way of knowing whether that softened tone of Arnav is going to really be there or not ... makes all the difference as to what Khushi does with that damn file!

2. Sceneario 2 he is putting back all her stuff and finds the file and feels like a fool again, she wakes up sees everything instant happiness and horror when she realizes he is holding the file. Confrontation, she tells the truth and he says fine, tell Shyam you have the signatures and ask him to come to airport and we will talk.

I still don't understand how Shyam got access to ASR's office and none of his staff mentioned that Shyam was there to meet him.
If I were ASR I would have fired that receptionist, You don't ignore the Boss's wife's request to see her hubby and do not pass on the message.

Ramayan mein Ravan kidnapped Sita and Ram fought him to rescue her ... yahan hamara show is a little ulta ... Ravan kidnaps Ram and Sita fights (hopefully!) to rescue him! This is modern Vaidehi!
But whatever it is, I hope Arnav knows about the signature deal, whether he finds the file himself or Khushi shows it to him ... how the heck will she get his signature anyway otherwise - he doesn't still trust her!
Shwets I really want Bitwa to make a deal with K although the poor girl is stuck btn the 2 deals,
DeleteIt makes logical sense because - for anyways Shyamu would have already planned Bitwa's kidnapping, even if K was able to get the sign, he would have anyway kidnapped bitwa to kill him and take over the property, so when K goes to shyam asking him come to thee airport tell arnav the truth and take the signed papers, he accepts, But shyamu will switch over to plan B and kidnap bitwa for signing the paper also. that's one way you can keep K and A not dumb.
What I can't digest is - even if K and A read the documents and A signs which I highly doubt or K taking sign 'dhooke se' is again going to create the distance btn Arhi when they come back.
So I want Bitwa to make deal thinking that she creating a story, but he will really get kidnapped and then he will start thinking that K was right, that will start his dimaag to work and connect the dots.

Exactly hence I want Bitwa to make a deal asking her to get Shyam to the airport because he still doesn't trust her - will not sign the papers ! and K getting it signed in other ways is again against what she said to RRR yesterday - that I will not betray him.

Also she will be held captive at Ashok Van aka Ram where Shyam will be the ruler in Arnav's absence, so Bitwa has to ikatthafy vanar sena on second thoughts he is more than enough for Shyam to rescue Khushi.
Aaru: From the promo, he is softening and I am sure when he goes inside he is going to give her the classic turn-look of his. Almost 24 hours have passed since she gave her version, instead of dismissing it outright, he will give it a deep thought, he will give her the benefit of doubt.
And ofcourse there is the twist I mentioned about Arnav handing over his empire to Bharat-cum Lakshman (Ab ek hi cousin bhai hai toh main kya karoon, Dhruv ko toh drop kar diya PH nay)as a preemptive measure against Shyam.
Shwets Shiddat to that one and am sure that classic turn and look will be there( i think according to Kurti who was at mall shoot did say that. ) I so want a long one, not just look and turn- I want that longing as if he is leaving is life back.. with K there -- tho soye pe suhaga!! and with new Rv lyrics pls!!

Baruns movie well am not surprised .... Feels good to be proved right, once said this he looks to me like a guy who know his limitations, the fact that he has to learn alot and he is too honest for media. It was a true answer though..... Had a blast going through IF ..... I mean seriously you had to doubt him .... A guy who declared just 2 days back that "ASR the best thing that happened to him and thats obvious" when asked something about his career.
Loved his reactions to SHEHNAZ!!!! Arrrrhg seriously .... She is a dumb and arrogant *****. Producers you have 2 TV why not a 3rd?!

While watching MJHT, I always felt that Mohit felt way short of Sanaya, He improved and kept improving but Sanaya was always miles ahead of him. So I am really happy for Sanaya that she has found a costar who can match up to her.
And now they have this beautiful symbiotic relationships where they keep lifting each other's performance.
P.S What happened in IF regarding his movie?
oh IF went bersek at his answer when asked whether he is planning to quit TV in future .... He said "i don't know, nothing goes as per plan with me, so lets see" .... For media specially BW media not a diplomatic answer at all

4 Guys 1 Girl. 40 days of shooting. Each couple will get 10 days. So Barun will be finishing his part in the first 10 days and then the other guys.
So during Post production work, he will be called for Dubbing, some reshooting probably and when the movie releases for promotion.
So the show is on till September or Dec Max. Only after the movie releases and how well it is received, he will contemplate the next move.
And he has to be in IPK when the movie releases, so the recall factor is there.
And in the MEANTIME BARUN, Enrol yourself for Dance classes and learn to be more Media Savvy. I mean this sincerely.

Shweths, regarding Mohit - go ahead, you'll find me your biggest supporter. In fact I said this way back when MJHT was winding up, and some of my friends were dead keen for MJHT 3 with Monaya ... I was equally dead AGAINST it ... I wanted Sanaya with an actor of her calibre, or at least somewhere close ... Mohit was nowhere near her, although he did improve towards the end. I annoyed quite a few diehard Mohit supporters with my views *ROFL*

Their scenes together, especially the emotional ones like today are so powerful with such few words ... you can see that they feed off each others performances, especially BS, because his expressions are sometimes less intense when there is a BD ... I really wonder how his acting will be with that airhead!

DeleteSamrat and Mohit of MJHT2 is mine and Dia's shiddat getting granted.. it was only few of us who wanted that matured and serious Sam, Mohit was bang on with some emotional scenes espl the meri chashmish, and Look at me ones, they were intense and with passion, we used to pray for those kinds of roles, and once Miss D re-entred all went down the hill with OTT comedy.
I left watching MJHT after they kept on dragging and switched to LNMDJ, the show after MJHT. Did watch the makeover of Samrat and liked it but had already switched over to LNMDJ, the show after MJHT.

BS and SI were brilliant today. I was surprised that even BS could give scenes like SI, eyes moist and emotions flowing. His expressions when she says that how her things must be hurting him, were bang on..I liked that the scene was not rushed, instead they paused to show the effect of her words on him.

I havent been at all excited with BS's choice of the movie, and the clip of him and shenaz was quite funny and on top of that his name Sukhi really added to the amusement! Now atleast I see an alternative.

DeleteHe's been bang on except for Monday ... he wasn't good on Monday, but then the entire episode was not well scripted ... no wonder he didn't deliver properly! After that the script tightened and he stepped right up to the plate! Sanaya was great all through, but she really took off the second half of Monday, and she never stopped - she has been simply brilliant the whole week through!

Dia's blog is very infectious, although I can't keep up with the chit chat mainly because of the time difference, but do peek in whenevr I have a few minutes during the day. Love the lively conversations, the views, predictions and of course my favorites are the shiddats.
This virtual coffee room is also a fan club of Sanaya's , most of the girls seem to be a die hard fan of SI. Since I haven't seen any of SI's previous serials, I support them both equally and think that they both feed off each other very well. They both are great actors and given a good script, a good director and a good co-actor, they both will rock wherever they go next.
I saw some of the pictures of Barun's movie, have to admit that I'm not that excited. He could have waited for a better role or a bigger banner instead of jumping ship so quickly. I fully support him i his decision and wish him all the success, just hope that he knows what he is doing or giving up in,lieu o his movie career. I completely agree with Mona that he needs some coaching with respect to speaking to the media, he sounds quite inexperienced during his interviews.

(then the PH dies not have to spend on a cushion!) etc

and of course - come what may - she cannot canot cheat him - as it is i have come to terms with her swallowing her pride and becoming the typical wife who will basically kills (in our language - apnay aap ko mitti kar lena!)herself to prove her innocence instead of fighting with him (with pride) as to how he ever dared to doubt her - have come to peace with this coz i can understand that if both hold on to their egos, how will the story progress??

DeleteWas watching the whole week episode again-- Gosh if you watch the whole thing right from the confrontation to yesterday's dilemma.. It’s so heart wrecking.. God Arhi made me cry the whole time. My heart went out to this girl who is broken by one person she loves .... With all people around her, but none absolutely none to hold and cry, none to understand, no one to tell her everything will be alright. She is at a juncture where she doesn’t know what to do, if she doing is right or wrong, only thing she can cling to is her DM to guide her !

Among D and S, S is a great dancer while D is just average, but the best part was their chorography and theme they selected, their highest point was their simplicity and emotions.
DeleteI noticed them in NB when they danced to Dola re dola re dola from Devdas - both dressed as women - Madhuri and Aishwarya ... and Shaleen was simply fantabulous!!! Yep, he is the better dancer, Daljeet is very good, but in comparison she suffers, although she's not half bad herself!

ReplyDeleteThis is my second post here. First bring yesyerday. I watched nach baliye 4 only for shaleen n daljeet's excellent dancing skills. They were amazingly good and raised the bar with each of their performance. Their performance on bakhuda tumhi ho was by far one of the best on Indian television performed by non-professional dancers.....
Having said that can't imagine shaleen playing ARnav Singh Raizada. shaleen is an okay ish actor. He might be ok as ASR but I'm not sure he can handle being Arnav....
I've been following Sajda last few days. Liking the story so far. Like Ronit Roy and Shaleen but not sure of the female lead in the show.....
Coming back to IPK I want Khushi to break down and cry as much as she likes but rise again and look for ODB. I want her to come very close finding ODB but I want bitwa to save himself. I want to see bitwa having enough FBs and I want to see him using his brain and realise that khushi was innocent all along, that he was so wrong about her. I want him to save himself and come not just to save Di from creepwa but more so to save Khushi and to eventually tell Khushi that he made a huge mistake.
I want ASR to come back with vengeance and I want arnav to come back for his lady love.....

DeleteAgree with your comments on Shaleen - I saw him in a cameo on DMG and liked him ... but again, don't know about ASR, it's a complex role and would take any actor some time to get into it completely. Even BS took some time ... he was stiff at the start and took a few weeks to really get his teeth into the role. Shaleen plays a similar unsmiling kind of guy in Sajda, I think ... I've watched it in passing ... he's ok, not great or riveting. At least he hasn't hooked me ...
Agree with you on Khushi ... I would like to see her using her brains to rescure Bitwa ... and I actually hope it's a joint effort of sorts ... and that Bitwa realizes she is innocent at the end of it ... though NOT by hearing Shyam boast about it!!! Can Bitwa please start using his brain and connecting the dots?

Yes, he is! Right from the time he released the fashion footage to the media which got her into contact with Shyam in the first place up to yesterday's episode when he blatantly ignored her and left her standing in the middle of the road, to be taken advantage of by the creep.
If he had not pushed her away and announced his engagement to La on Diwali night and to top it accuse her of trying to entrap a rich guy, she wouldn't have allowed herself to be engaged to the creep. He accused her again of entrapping his jiju when she demanded an answer for his forced marriage just the day before. Is it surprising then that the poor girl is unsure that he will trust her version of the truth and not the creep's? Why did he not let her know that he has confronted Shyam already and the wedding was a result of that confrontation? By not revealing that crucial piece of information he has let her play into the hands of that creep yet again. In tamil there is a proverb: "Kudumbum rendagam pattal kuttalikku thaan kondattam" which loosely translates into "If the family is divided, it benefits the guy who wants to take advantage of the split."
When there are so many evidences to corroborate her version, he chooses to still remain fixed on the terrace scene.
Evidence No.1: The woman had no clue why he forcefully married her till he himself told her a day before. If she was carrying on with Shyam would she have not known the reason from him?
Evidence No.2: The woman was all set to kill herself, thinking he wanted her out of the way so that he could get married to La. If she was having an affair with Shyam why would she take such a drastic decision. All she needed to do was wait till the contract period was over and rejoin her lover. He cannot think she staged the act because she did not let him know that she was planning to kill herself. The letter was not meant to be found till later.
Evidence No. 3: If the woman was a home wrecker, would she have bothered to paint a good picture of him in front of her family, knowing she will have to return to live with them after six months? Would it not have been in her interest to paint him black so that they will sympathise with her rather than take his side?
Evidence No.4: If the woman wanted to hook up with Shyam after six months, would she not have thought of the repercussions on her sister's life of her action, a sister for whom she was willing to put up with all the inconveniences of a forced marriage to him?
Evidence No.5: This I thought was the strongest. He seems to remember every single word she uttered on holi day. He also knew that she was stoned on that day. So obviously she could not have lied in that state. She had virtually admitted her feelings for him and still he keeps thinking that she is having an affair with Shyam???
All these evidences were right there before his eyes, even before she opened her mouth to give her side of the story. Once she gave him the story, the evidences only kept increasing.

Evidence No.6: She told him that Shyam stayed in their place as a PG and manipulated her entire family into getting engaged to her after her father took ill. He himself knew for a fact that the man she got engaged to was a PG in her house. He had even heard her mention his name in his presence. Now if she was having a clandestine affair with the man would she have dared to utter his name in his presence?
ReplyDeleteEvidence No.7: She told him that she broke of the engagement the day she came to know he was married. He himself was a witness to the emotionally shaken state she was the day before her supposed broken engagement. Should this not ring a bell then?
If these incidents have slipped from his mind, he mentioning them should have brought back those memories again. Why is he unable to process the information he is now in possession of?
The only reason I can see is that the great Arnav Singh Raizada has a hard time accepting that he made a huge error of judgment. He cannot accept the fact that he was wrong in placing so much trust in his creep jiju. He'd rather live with the belief that the creep was the one who was entrapped by the enchantress than think the man he and his entire family held in such high regard was, is and will always be the cunning, conniving, manipulative and obsessive womaniser. After all if he holds Khushi responsible for tempting the man, he can find an excuse for his own weakness for the woman. For a man who has sworn he would never fall in love now finds himself irrevocably in love with her. That is her doing. She has ensnared him in her trap as she did with his jiju.
When he asked her how she could do this to the family which has done so much for her, I wanted her to ask him back what have they done? In fact the Raizada house owes more to Khushi than she does to them. Whatever money she received was a remuneration for her work. Her financial problems were the direct result of his actions. If anyone owes anything, it is Arnav himself. If it had not been for Khushi, his life would be listless and drab. She brought happiness and joy into his family. By evoking love in him, she brought in the positivity that comes with it. She taught him to be more human and yet he'd rather turn a blind eye to all this and remain fixed on that terrace scene. Oh yes, he has more faith in himself and what he saw and heard rather than her, even if what he saw and heard makes no sense, given all the evidences before him.
Before she met him there were three things that Khushi had faith in:
She had faith in Devi Maiyaa: He rudely shook it on the day he forced this temp marriage on her, shattering all her dreams.
She had faith in her parents, whom she believed to have turned into stars: He has been repeatedly throwing away those stars, thereby symbolically shaking another of pillar of her faith.
She had faith in herself: Whatever trials and tribulations she encountered, Khushi always faced them because of her faith in herself. His repeated accusations of her being a home wrecker and an enchantress who can stoop to any level has shaken that third pillar too. She is unsure of herself and wonders whether she needs to elicit Shyam's help to clear her name.
I hope Khushi retains her spirit through all of this and shows the man what she really is made up of - a strong woman who can weather the worst storms in life and still preserve the tender heart within which knows only to love him, no matter what he subjects her to.
Arnav does have to trudge a long… long… long… and weary road to redemption. He sure will take it for he knows the prize waiting for him at the end of it is worth every effort he needs to take to get there.

point 5 - totally agree - in fact even wrote about this earlier - if IDB remembers everything he said - ok but he actually remembers everything she said!! and he knows she was very very honest then - so how could he doubt her then??? that's why i had said earlier that the CVs should not have brought back the Holi fb- they should have left it as an aside done specially to boost trps!
point 6 & 7 - oh he believes her - he definitely did when she said all that - its when he went back (mentally) to the terrace scene that he hardened again -

however saying that the financial problems were because of him is not fair - the Guptas were mortgaging the shop for the wedding - so, whatever the outcome of the wedding - the shop was not mortgaged coz of ASR and them not being able to save it was also not coz of him - the rest - yes, he was behind most of her problems!
I, for one, believe that his RTR has started the moment he heard the truth from her. from that moment on, HE BELIEVES HER.

then he sees her waiting for him.. and cannot face her.. wants to find a hideyhole and curl up in a foetal position, but he cannot... but she is waiting... and waiting... he cannot concentrate on work.. stares at her from afar... and cannot take the enormousness of her grief.
he does not trust himself to behave like ASR if he and she meet in the room.. so he flees again.
he comes home... avoids the bedroom again.. this time, sitting in the study/TV room.. less family interference here.
cannot face her... but anjali comes..with more distateful things to add to his mental burden... he needs his room..his wife, even if it is to fight again, he needs her presence.
goes there, only to find that she is removing her presence from his life.. naked terror strikes his heart. "who asked you to change the room???"
"I just discovered that i had no right" and his heart breaks for her heartbreak. Arnav cannot fathom the hurts he has caused her...and is guilty of them all..
but no, never will i let you sleep outside again. you deserve my bed... even if i will never be worthy enough to share it with you. you are my queen.. but I dont dare tell you that...
P.S.yes, I see arnav when everyone else saw khushi... and I am happy with that.
Mona, the financial problems were partly his doing. Even if the shop was mortgaged to foot the wedding expenses, her father could not re-establish himself in his business because of his deteriorating health which was the combined effect of the fallout of a stalled wedding and the disrepute brought by Arnav releasing the tapes to the media.

Yes, he cannot trust anyone but himself and there will come a day when he will kick himself for not using either his head or his heart in this matter. Jaya - i know i see ODB too when the concentration is on ODG - actually i like both and can see flaws in both - see if ODB is being an ass and not accepting what he knows to be true - (yes i too agree that he believed her!) - she was being a fool by not telling him about the creepwa earlier or even in her room!
Delete- for me too - his RTR has begun!- for me it began longtime back- you see from my POV - he is ridiculously rude and hurtful to KKG but he too is hurting (maybe even more) coz he knows (what he believes is the truth!) while she was worried why he is like this - he thinks he knows why he is like that and hence the terrible position! remember the scene where KKG comes out to sleep (after the wedding - she was in a yellow saree) and he was rethinking about the terrace, his sister and his feelings for her and rips up at her - and she shouts back - that was the perfect portrayal of the agony they were both in!! (Also - he is hurting for her, for loosing his BIL - one person he trusted and his sister = who he knows will collapse without her RRR!)
so for me - this ridiculous MU is so damned stupid coz both know they love each other and are so perfect for each other - yet they cant see what we can uuff!!!

DeleteArnav also hurting does not make up for his redemption. I can excuse his behaviour on the wedding day or even a few days from then because he had to face too much far too soon that he couldn't process anything but his behaviour since then is mostly inexcusable. He did win a few brownie points in GH because he let his love win over inspite of his MU. As to why he should still continue having the MU still is hard to digest and does not gel with the rest of his personality but then I'm willing to overlook it. But if at this point he believes her and yet acts as if he does not, I don't find that excusable. It is another thing that Barun with his big brown eyes will make any heart melt with his intense and pained looks but the character of ASR still has a long way to go before being redeemed and I don't want Khushi to readily accept him, not because she is unforgiving but because she is too shattered by everything she has been put through.

DeleteMore than anything else, I will use Opti's points 6 and 7 as Khushi's defence. Arnav says that he believes only the evidence of his own eyes and ears. doesn't he? While points 1-5 he could claim were because of Khushi's acting skills and wanting to fool his family, but 6 and 7 are things he has witnessed himself.
He knows she said her fiance is a lawyer, was the Guptas' PG and that the family fixed the wedding, and the name ... she never hid a single fact. If she was in clandestine affair with Shyam, and knew he was married to Di, would she have said his name and his profession so openly?
HE saw and heard with his own eyes and ears that she was not hiding her fiance at her house, on the contrary she went to call Shyam herself, she looked for him in the room, but Shyam had fled.
He saw for himself how broken she was the day she discovered Shyam's truth ... she let out to him that it was her fiance who had caused that state ... and within two days he knew her engagement had broken.
Also he has seen today Shyam making advances in front of the entire family ... and Khushi is upset ... well okay, she would be upset either way, but he has seen Shyam's boldness for himself, and Khushi told Arnav that Shyam has still not stopped his harkatein ...
All these things HE has witnessed ... now coupled with her story, should he not at least wonder whether there is a possibility of her telling the truth. Should not the process of thinking START?
And what I find unforgiveable - HE told her that she didn't tell him, she should have told him ... the girl waits the whole day at his office to meet him ... she runs after his car ... and he doesn't stop to listen to what she has to say? Then how can he blame her for not telling him? And she has told him the complete truth, down to her engagement ... what more can she do? Will he believe her if she tells him now about Shyam's file also? Or will he accuse her again of conniving with Shyam?
He is a big tycoon, she has told him a story which can easily be corroborated, why is he not trying to at least investigate whether there is any element of truth in her story, before condemning her again? Earlier he had the excuse that she hadn't told him the truth - now what excuse does he have?
Yes, he's hurting too ... but what love is this that he is so ready to condemn her and not give her a single chance? He is literally pushing her into the arms of his KJ ... SHE has to ask Buaji and Amma and Payal - why can't HE ask them to confirm her story?
No, nope, his RTR has not started yet ... after knowing the truth if he is doing nothing about it ...
Dia, arnav does not know that khushi is wanting to speak to him about a file and signature or anything. In my opinion, arnav is still thinking that khushi wants to re-iterate that she is innocent.
DeleteI think that during their confrontation after she told him the trust he believed her. But just before revealing the trust she also said that he does not deserve an explanation. I think his guilt is eating at him that's why when he looks at her directly while she is patiently waiting for him in AR he has the FBs of their confrontation specifically of those very words 'you do not deserve an explanation' .... I think he has already started on his guilt trip and half believes that she is innocent but it's a tussle between guilt and ego.... I think he is feeling guilty enough to not be able to face himself let alone facing her or speaking to her. To him facing her is like facing the mirror and he is slowly preparing himself to face the mirror... Hope this makes sense. Not sure if I can put in words the conflict I feel arnav is going through.

Smile, no, he doesn't know what she wants to speak to him about. But it takes to have a conversation - one to talk, and one to listen. He does know that she wants to say something - he may not know about the file, but maybe she wants to offer some more evidence in her defense, does he not want to even hear it? And if he does half believe she is innocent, why is he not willing to let her prove it - or at least try? And give her a fair hearing while she does? Give her a hearing at all - fair or otherwise ...

Or something bigger - his general mistrust of what he thought her to be at the very start and because of his own history? Either way, I can't make much excuse for his not giving her even a single hearing ... then he has no right to say that she never tried to tell him anything.
Yes, he is in conflict - but the conflict is not between his mind and his heart ... because mind and heart should both be telling him the same thing, if he lets them. It's a conflict between what his brain is telling him, and his own fixation that what he saw cannot have been misinterpreted.
Jaya, if what you say is true and he already believes her and yet does not want to admit that he has wronged her, it only makes him look worse for me. As long as he is holding on to his ego and is unwilling to admit that he is guilty of hurting the only woman he loves, he has not even begun his journey up that redemption road. At the GH, he seemed to be taking the first steps towards it, but I feel he has regressed since then. Yes, he couldn't stand to see her remove her presence from his life and he feels bad about it but what good does it do? As long as he is on his high horse and unwilling to pay head either to his heart or head, he is still miles away from where he needs to be.

Opti, I agree with you 100% he is a hotheaded ass(the donkey kind). but then, it has to happen that way, right? he tells khushi himself (quite truthfully, i might add) that his ego is quite big.. maybe bigger than his brain..

he did look like he was going back to flirt mode with khushi at GH, accepting that he loves her, and treating her that way ...confusing her again, just like the first time, but with far more seriously unfunny comedy and a heartbrakable sacrifice from khushi..
but at that time, he was accepting that khushi had loved sham before him, but after her marriage to A, had started to care for bitwa too.. he never thought that she was totally innocent, as much a victim of sham's treachery as he was.
that news jolted his bases. so he's out of it all right now.
and yes, he has to think... and act on it.. and has to take some big decisions ... so I hope the kidnapping(whatever) drama is to give him some space to think.
and anyway, wile he is trying to sort this all by himself, bitiya will be sorting her mess too.. and at the end, when he finally makes a decision and comes forward, I have a feeling she will leave.

Agree with you Jaya. I think it sucks to be ASR. I truly believe it hurts more to knowingly or unknowingly hurt the person one truly loves. In case of Bitwa the only person he has truly and deeply loved is khushi and to hurt her has caused him more pain and hurt each time.
ReplyDeleteEven after the shy khushi terrace hug bitwa can't tolerate the small hurt that the choker causes her when getting ready as his bride. He know in comparison the hurt and pain he has caused her is enormous and it will be while before he can face her and come to terms with what he has done. At the moment he is under a pile of guilt with no ray of hope from his pov....
