Waiting for the explosion with bated breath ... when will it come?
Shyam-Arnav face-off continued ... Shyam dares Arnav to tell Anjali anything at all ... yet in the same breath, declares his intention to fulfill his love story ... it felt like he was daring Arnav to win Khushi, rather than lose Anjali ... On the one hand, he dares Arnav to tell Anjali about Khushi, on the other hand he declares his intention of not hiding his love story ... Shyam sounded confused!
Khushi trying desperately to find Arnav ... and when he comes face to face, she can barely talk ... the exchange of looks there was mind-blowing ... his flashbacks, both of his own moments, and then the last damning moments with Shyam ... honestly, Arnav, you remember your moments, they're a darn sight more in number than Shyam's ... give the girl a chance!
Khushi's look ... relieved to see him, pleading, hopeful, apprehensive, nervous ... she says it all with her eyes, her expressions ...
Arnav's look - those of a man betrayed ... accusing, unforgiving ... condemning her without allowing her a chance ... asking, how could you ...?
And she tries to tell him ... she tries her best ... but Anjali's voice stops them both ... and he goes after Anjali instead ...
Arnav-Anjali ... although I felt bad for Arnav, and agreed he needed to tell Anjali, I felt that more than his insecurity, Arnav showed immaturity here ... is it really such a national emergency that you have to tell her when there's a wedding going on downstairs?! Wait for the right moment ... this is definitely not it, with her attention all over the place, a million guests in the house ... and you want to break this news out of the blue ... what seemed like the right decision, started looking like an impetuous, immature one ... Arnav does need to think things out more rationally and choose the right time to make an announcement of this sort.
I remembered Descendants, where George Clooney's daughter sees her mom having an affair, and doesn't tell her father right away ... she wants to wait till she's sure ... I think she had a point there ...
More than Anjali or Khushi, sometimes I feel Arnav needs to grow up ... he has to emerge out of that scared, insecure 15 year old clinging to his sister's pallu ... that child showed very clearly today. And I wonder is that intentional of the cv's? To show Arnav as being so insecure and clingy ... or was it a scripting glitch because they had to get the wedding done somehow, so he had to break the news to Anjali so soon? Because it definitely didn't look mature and well thought out ... in terms of the timing and the way he broke the news ... not the actual decision to tell Anjali. And then of course he goes all hyper and insecure when Anjali faints ... more and more, the scared child Arnav ... saying sorry to his mother for doing something which hurt her ...
Shyam getting worried ... will Arnav take him up on his bluff and actually tell Anjali? And then what?! I thought Shyam hadn't thought things out too well in the first scene ... seemed he realized that by the end too. And again Mamaji is the one to see Shyam's confusion ... will that have any bearing on anything? Shouldn't think so ... the main players will be Arnav, Khushi, Anjali and Shyam ... Mamaji, Bauji might be facilitators ... Buaji and Garima are blind ...
Shyam tells Mamaji again how much he is missing Anjali ... still keeping the facade intact, he still doesn't think Arnav will tell Anjali anything ...
And of course Anjali's reports come just as Arnav is about to tell her ... and he goes all hyper again!

Dia - Today's was just a filler episode , everyone running around like crazy with no definite outcome. Do understand that the explosion is waiting to happen. But I've had this nagging feeling from yesterday.

Sahana, yes, a filler episode, just reinforced everyone's positions of yesterday ... but I will add what I think are Arnav's and Shyam's viewpoints in the main post in a little while ... just see what you think about that. My thoughts are sometimes 'hatke'! ;)
ReplyDeleteI was confused about Shyam's confusion ... now I think I've figured it out - somewhat! And that leads to Arnav's reactions ... will update in the main post shortly.
I also wonder if the cv's will show us the Arnav Khushi showdown in its entirety. Or will they leave us in suspense as to what actually happens between them. And we'll spend the next few months till Shyam is fully exposed trying to figure out what exactly is their deal!

His main concern is Anjali and absolutely rightly so.
MY ISSUE IS THIS:
He saw Shyam, he confronted him, right.
WHY IS HE NOT CONFRONTING KHUSHI before convicting her.
Yes, he will do it tomorrow, he may or may not believe her, but atleast hear her side of the story. Then let him draw the conclusions, right or wrong, all I want is her to be given a chance, that is all.

Rest was pretty much filler epi, We knew nothing more than what the precap told us yesterday.
I liked that Shyam kept on harping his love for khushi blah blah..He did NOT say Our Love with respect to Khushi...Would Arnav think about that, don't expect him to, not cos he is not capable of, but he is in too much of shock to sit and analyze stuff.
So we find out Anjali is pregnant, I am still not happy that Anjali got pregnant with Snakewa lusting after Khushi. Oh well, Serial hai, what to do?
The blooper: Khushi or the Guptas probably spot Anjali even if it is at a distance and no one asks, what happened to Anjali?

Anjali getting pregnant is just ewwww!!! They could have taken a better route for Arnav not being able to tell his Di.
No he has not and the current state he is in, I dont expect him to either. Maybe when Khushi gives her side of the story, he will start to atleast wonder. Which is why I am hoping he atleast gives her the benefit of the doubt.

Face it, If it was Some KANTA BAI, Shyam was lusting about, would ASR have married Kanta Bai?
So it all comes down to somewhere he trusts khushi, in barely an hour his world has turned upside down, so in his anger he might not be ready to sit and analyze things.
There might also be the possessive streak in him that would not want Khushi to belong to someone else or Shyam and Khushi might get married or something before the baby, so let me get married to Khushi first.
I DO NOT think we will be shown what transpired between them.
If you think of the timeline of tonite's episode:
Anjali will break the news to Arnav, he will be happy and sad at the same time.
Shyam will enter, breaking news, and shyam anjali hug while shyam challenging Arnav what will you do.
Khushi is upstairs somewhere getting ready.
Arnav will come out dazed go to khushi or hear someone say her name go and find her.
Khushi will be in her room or about to come out and he will go we have to talk. That is what we will be shown today.
In the meantime wedding preparations would start, Arhi are already missing, so we can safely guess that they would have left by that time.
Either the epi will end with Arhi entering or that will be shown tomorrow.
I am sure Arnav will be the one who will be doing the talking when the family confronts them.
What happened between them will be shown during the SR with Khushi thinking about what happened?
So while R family would be happy Slightly disappointed that Arnav did not get married the traditional way, they would be happy just the same. It would be itneresting to note G family's reaction, will she find support there or not?
Also I am waiting to know what explanation Arnav gives when Nani asks him, if you had to get married why not here itself, why go to the temple or anywhere else...that is what makes me wonder if it will be a fake marriage..
But one thing toh pucca, she would get married to him symbolically for sure, just like the mehendi, haldi scene,s the Q is do they reaize they are married for real?

ReplyDeleteIn my view, in the promo it is given that it is ring ceremony. Whereas in precap it is given it is bindi ceremony. So there is a gap between that. Hence according to me something big is going to happen between Khushi and Arnav. Further Arnav is not in a position to justify anything now. He is in uttermost shock, despair and anger that he is unable to talk. He needs time. So my thought is like this.
I think he will go in a rage and first shout at Khushi being a gold digger, characterless etc etc., where in she is heart broken once again and loses complete trust in him. Wherein they will come for Bindi ceremony and Arnav is watching her and very andry at her and also confused. She may go out for getting something alone where Shyam sees this and feels as right time and confronts her again or tries to possess her and a great conversation happens between them which will now be enlightened to Arnav who is already chasing them. Wherein the twist comes of the promo. Now both of them will not be in the position to trust each other but Khushi agrees for marriage only to prove her innocence. But she will be cold and distant to him post marriage.
Gargi: Yes, Talk about hit and happening day...Getting hit from all sides and too much happening,lol. Loved the way Barun put it in perspective. With that much happening, it is a miracle he is still conscious much less thinking clearly.

That would be awesome if Arnav this time catches the full convo and realizes that he misunderstood khushi although he will continue to be furious with her.
The spoilers that got posted today hinted at a hate marriage, don't want that..would really prefer a benefit of doubt marriage.

Lucky, I would actually like it to happen that way, a Shyam-Khushi showdown - at least Arnav could overhear enough to think that maybe he hasn't got the entire picture ... and by that time, because he has yelled at Khushi, she is angry ... so he proposes the marriage as a truce of sorts till they can figure out what to do with Shyam ...

Arnav angry, tells her all that Shyam has said, about her being gold-digger, marriage-breaker ... Khushi tries to say something, but he doesn't let her ... Khushi heartbroken ... she fires back at him, and then as usual, someone calls them or interrupts and they have to go back for the Payash wedding ... so the yelling happens while people are waiting for the wedding to start ... the precap ...
Wedding happens ... either some showdown with Shyam as Lucky mentioned, or Arnav starts thinking about what Khushi said and wondering if he was mistaken ...
And after the Payash marriage is safely over, he calls Khushi again and without telling her anything about what he's doing, he takes her to her Devi Maiyya temple and tells her to swear that she wasn't breaking his Di's marriage ... she does ... and he says ok, prove it ... she says anything you want ... and he challenges her to marry him then and there ... she does ...
Because the ring finding ceremony is AFTER the marriage ... and we saw from the pics that AK are at the marriage ... so my guess is they disappear again after that ...
And then Arhi re-enter RM ... all this could take up till the end of this week!!!

Dia, I may not agree to the last part of this. Because, Khushi is not such a person to take hasty decisions atleast in the topic of marriage.May be now Arnav will come to terms with her. At the same time SBS is realised with tagline fake marriage. So cannot predict if it is a fake marriage or real marriage. Further, Arnav will come to senses only after marriage according to me and then start thinking what has happened.
DeleteLucky, would Khushi agree to a fake marriage? That would be like living in, right? and she's dead against that. Also how does a fake marriage remove her from Shyam's orbit - especially if Arnav thinks she is in cahoots with Shyam? He would also make sure the wedding was real, so that she was firmly bound to him and couldn't run off with Shyam at the first opportunity.

I had posted a while earlier under the name hopelessly addicted to Arhi
agree on the part that a fake marriage will not solve teh problem so it has to be real. in the varmala pic it is actually mami standing (chk bangles) though at first sight it looks like khushi.
looking at the family pic wherein all but payal and arnav are present, i think the baby news goes out to the whole family and hence arnav's immediate obstacle in spilling the beans. during varmala, perhaps khushi wanders off and arnav spots her again with shyam (eww!) as in S follows her and arnav feels that if he does nto act now, then this S will go and blabber it all to his di (or maybe shyam challenges him that he will tell her once the wedding is done) and he does nto want it now that she is expecting. hence the haste to remove khushi from the equation. He goes and tells her baat karni hai and she goes with him as she too wants to talk and the marriage happens. now how she agrees is something i am still not sure of. for now him challenging her to prove her innocence by marrying him immediately (@shweta) is teh only thing that makes sense. gosh will turn nuts between today and fri / mon at this rate.

ReplyDeleteI agree with the changes you made, they will have half argument before being called and then Arnav will see Shyam leering at Khushi who knows maybe taunt him too and Arnav will flip and drag Khushi away to the temple?
I am guessing hate will continue initially and then slowly it will reduce to a doubt, in all this I believe Khushi would be fighting back for his love and trust.
Then maybe the Funeral of Babuji maybe happens, shattering and completely breaking Khushi. Babuji might be able to convey something to Arnav or he will find out on his own (Payal speak up dammit on Shyam's history or something to Akash or Arnav).
Now Like Gul Khan said, his angst and passion would double as he will be fighting for Khushi now.
I am really excited for this track, I only wish that during the hate track, we are spared of the knee jerk reactions, hue and cry so we get the story we want to see.
I am also guessing since Arnav rushed into the marriage, he will pretend to be all lovey dovey infront of his family and when they are alone, will be all meanie.
I give the hate track probably 3-4 weeks before the next twist happens.

The big question really is as to how Khushi will agree for the marriage ... as shwetha said, the challenge to prove her innocence might be the thing ... unless Arnav doesn't give her any chance to talk at all and just demands that she marry him immediately ... God knows!!! I can't think any more!!!
Shwetha and all ... from the Gul Khan article, things are going to get quite harsh before Arnav realises the truth ... so we better be prepared for some major angst on the lines of the 'farak padta hai' episodes ... I really hope that doesn't last too long till Arnav finds out the truth and starts to make amends - and hopefully we do get a separation then - when he realizes what Khushi said at the temple - when you realize how wrong you were, then I won't be there ...
We are in for a rocky ride! At least Arnav will be lovey dovey in front of the family, so we should get some nice ArHi to compensate for the angst! Just to keep us going!
And oh yes, major blooper .... Khushi and Guptas never noticed Anjali's bandages?! Ok they weren't told about the accident, but they're not blind, are they?!

You know what I wish, Arnav atleast once imagines what if it had been different, What if He had married khushi cos he loved her, just imagine himself happily with her, the two of them goofing having fun with Anjali...Atleast ek baar toh banta hai...and the same from Khushi's side too.
3 weeks max is the time period I would give before the audience starts getting restless, I hope they focus more on ASR Shyam mindgames and less on Arnav-Khushi hate track to lessen the impact.

I think 2-3 weeks maximum, because there are too many witnesses to tell Arnav what exactly happened between Shyam and Khushi - and one of them is married to Akash now! So I think the hurt and hate won't last too long - the last time the track was too hurtful, the TRP's plummeted ...
ReplyDeleteThe main theme will be Arnav's tryst to win her back and this time Khushi will be deeply hurt at his lack of trust in her ... an emotional separation, if not a physical one, so that Arnav learns the meaning of what Khushi said that when he does discover what love is, she will not be there with him ...
I don't mind Arnav acting all loving husband or possessive and over-touchy-feely with Khushi in front of Shyam just to rile him up completely too ... to make his point ... and Khushi equally pointedly not resist ... again to make a point both to Shyam and Arnav. Let's watch those mind games with ArHi on the same side against Shyam ...
HAA ... I know, I really hope they don't make Khushi into the typical sniffing sobbing SP heroine and they keep her fighting spirit intact, including her smiles - that's what makes her different form all the rest!
I tell you, IPK has taken over our lives! Just finished watching the repeat and now waiting for the next episode! And checking for updates/news/ views ... phew!!!
Dia and All- Just posed the question on IF too. I have this nagging feeling that Anjali is being in complete denial about Shyam. This feeling is of course an after effect of Gul Khan's article from this morning.
DeleteDoes anybody feel the same? Did you notice Anjali's eyes when Shyam first came into the room? She was crying and had a very sad face when talking to Shyam.
I maybe imagining but have read books about such characters who love to be in their own world because of their insecurities.
