She's learning fast ... when to push his buttons, and more importantly ... when to back off. Is she learning to read him better too?
He's turning slowly ... from ASR to Arnav ... but there's still plenty of ASR left in him ...
The star of the episode today was Anjali ... the sweetly mischievous, ever-alert, ever-smiling Cupid Anjali ... she took almost 8 months to get her tube-light fixed, but now that she has, she's not wasting any time or opportunity :) You rock, Anjali! =D>
But *ahem* ... how did you know that the poolside was their place for trysts? :)

That warm, fuzzy feeling started from the first minute of the episode, as an impatient Arnav waited for Khushi to come down ... pacing up and down, looking up at the stairs every few seconds ... and Anjali got into the act right away ;) ... what's the matter, brother mine, you don't want to attend the havan, don't ... I'm not forcing you ... just go rest, whichever way you want ... it's your decision completely, Chotey ... you really don't have to, just for my sake =)) And a thoroughly annoyed, embarrassed Arnav ... she forces me to attend these damn things all the time, and she picks now to get concerned about my allergy to havans! So a patently false and lame excuse ... "I'll stay here, in case you need anything ..."
Anjali's expression was a delight ... a completely gleeful "oh yeah!" ... am guessing her thoughts were on the lines of "yeah right! In case I need anything!"
And then she comes down, escorted by her sister ... anyone else felt the scene was somewhat like a bride being brought to the marriage pandal where an impatient groom waits for her? And our KKG is one tenacious tigress, she's hiding her hands under her dupatta, and as she passes the waiting Arnav, she makes sure her hands are even more securely out of his view. And love the way they look, look away immediately, look again ... nazarein milana, nazarein churana in full swing ... their expressions are to die for ... hers determined - no, am not going to show you what you want to see ... his exasperated - why won't you let me see?!
He tries to peek again as she sits ... as though she can feel his gaze, her hands go under her dupatta again, and she steals a look ... he immediately looks away ... no, I wasn't looking for that ...:p
And the grandfather of all havans finally comes to an end ... with Khushi's hands still under her dupatta, Arnav still peeking desperately, ... and Shyam notices the inordinate interest that Arnav has in Khushi and he glowers ...x(
Anjali offers Arnav prasad ... he looks at Khushi, who manages to challenge him with that one sideling look ... Arnav accepts challenge with a smirk ... takes the prasad plate from Anjali and offers Khushi prasad ... with Buaji's help, he wins this one :"> ... and he can't hide his complete satisfaction at seeing her wearing his bangles ... a satisfaction that has nothing to do with challenges ... a deep joy inside that she's wearing his gift ... his first public mark on her, to declare she is his ...
And Khushi looks at his smile, sees his delight ... no, it's not about their unspoken challenge this time ... he is really happy she wore them ... really, really happy ... her wearing his bangles made him so happy? And her confusion starts again ... this was not about winning or losing the challenge, was it? Then why is he so happy?

Loved the exchange of looks there ... could feel Khushi's heart beat speed up again, could see the possessive satisfaction in Arnav's eyes ... as he looked at her wrists with his bangles ... and they looked remarkably like bridal bangles there ... so lost is Arnav that Akash has to repeat his name before he registers it ...
Khushi is not his match for nothing, though ... again her question ... "bangles? you?" Again he brushes aside ... "don't know what you're talking about ..."
But she's determined ... she knows he bought them, she will get him to say so ...
NK definitely seems to have realized something is fishy in Arhi-land, so his bit at acting Cupid ... :) Seems it will take the entire family, including Shyam's nasty tricks, to get these two stubborn lovers together!SO NK the official photographer, gets Khushi into her rightful place right next to Arnav ... and Khushi seizes the opportunity to torment him again with the question that's tormenting her ... "chudiyan ..."
"Haan ... toh?" ... Am not giving an inch here, I don't know anything about them, and I'm sticking to my stand. :P

Arnav bumps into a fulminating shamelessly eavesdropping Snakewa ... will he remember these encounters later? As much as I hate seeing Snakewa, I want Arnav to start witnessing some erratic moments of Shyam, so that later he can put two and two together ...

DIya - Oh, and that warm and fuzzy feeling when I saw them talking at the poolside. Their hearts seems to be crying out to hold each other but of course our Tom and Jerry were at what they do best - knawing at each other. But honestly, I cold feel the love oozing out of my laptop screen in that scene. How do Barun and Sanaya do this ? Kudos to them. Looking for your complete update.

I loved that he wanted to know if she wore the bangles especially when she knows he got it for her.
I loved it even more that she Knew he would want to know and tried as much as possible to keep them hidden.
The prasad trick..Ha Ha..I love this ASR with heavy dash of Arnav or is it vice versa. Jo bhi let them ensure we always see this combination rather than a too mushy Aranv or a too angry ASR.
After that the pool side scene was too damn cute, Don't like it throw them away, What if I like it, Then wear it, I am already wearing it.
Then the realization..She treasures what he brought for her. He brought something for her cos he treasures her.
Yet, both wouldn't admit.

So snake finally has his double menthos moment regarding Arnav & Khushi..Yikes Didn't want him to find out so soon, wanted more uninterrupted Arhi...Let us see.
So he does something to Anjali's car.Why was she looking so emotional? What did he sweet talk her into..with all emotional stuff before as far as he is concerned his final goodbye?
Anyway interesting week ahead, I just wish we got more Arhi till the inevitable happens.

p.s. - I did not watch it yesterday, watched it in the morning on Star plus website, the episode felt even more good minus the ad breaks.

ReplyDeleteAnjali was so brilliant today. She really shone through. Loved her teasing Arnav, aiding Khushi and playing the perfect match maker...even her slight 'ishaara' to nani - 'Stall the Gupta's! I've despatched the lovebirds to their spot for some alone time.'
But her best moment-She knows her brother well enough to know he wont just talk to Khushi, he'll sulk and fume but won't talk-unless of course khushi and he are alone in their special spot-so she promptly arranges a 'bahaana'...Whatever you need chotey;-)
Arnav and Khushi...Wow!:-)...my two fav parts...when they're taking the photo and khushi is very pointedly shaking HER bangles...love the way arnav rolls his eyes as if saying-'seriously! enough already woman I'm not gonna say it'...
and the poolside scene of course where he says why the hec did you say you didn't like them! ...ASR came through so well-he's probably never gone to so much trouble for a girl and now when he has she wont just quietly accept his gift but is giving him a hard tme about it!
On a side note...isn't it strange that raizada mami is making a to-do list one night before the wedding?
And also an errant thought...they should bring La back...pair her up with NK...Miss kashyap and Mr. NRI...lol

Lots of awwwww moments for me in the episode. Anjali whole heartedly welcoming changed Arnav speaks how much she was desperate for her chotey to be just Arnav and She was genuinely happy for him.
Lukha Chupi Bahut Hui....beween KKG and Arnav was so damn cute. One scene where Arnav quickly turns away and pretends as if he was not looking at her shows his desperation :). Yes, Dia, I too felt he was like an impatient groom waiting for his bride. All those nazarein milana churana just like new bride groom. Any ways, now me thinks, CVs are serving so much of cute and sizzling episodes, soon they are gonna drop all the fans from Himalaya one day...but how and when?
Arnav giving Prasad to Khushi only...shouldn't all others tubelights start up as well? ASR, giving prasad, it self was odd enough and that too to , only to KKG was super odd. What others were thinking? When Bua tells KKG to take prasad, Arnav has his eyes focused on her only, makes it super hot. The smile Arnav has after he sees, she, HIS KKG, wearing HIS gift , what releif his face shows..I really wonder , does Barun practice different types of smiles?
Anjali's teasing about bangales, when she says "Khushi ji.....bahut sundar chudiya pehan rakhi hai aapne...", Arnav had sense of pride smile...."yup...I brought them...even my Di approves them.". Khushi setting up Arnav was super cute again, Anjali dispatching love birds to their love destination was well thought out....
I am sure Nani and Di have confirmed now......when will they strike the conversation with Guptas regarding these two love birds?..At this rate, I do not see confession any time soon. I am very hopeful for 14 Feb..but pata nahi kyon, mujhe lagata hai kuch hoga nahi...?
Sahana, Shwetha ... oh that last Arhi scene was so beautiful ... you could feel the love, the ache there, dying to reach out to each other ... I LOVED the way Arnav followed Khushi to the poolside almost instantly ... why did she say she didn't like the bangles? It was SO important for him that she like them ... and it was SO important for her to confirm beyond doubt that he had bought them for her ...

About Shyam ... I agree, I didn't want him to find out about Arhi for a long time, at least until they were both sure of their feelings ... so it's an okay time, I guess ... they are realizing more and more what they feel. Also, Nani and Anjali also know about Arhi now - that makes it safer :)
Anjali - don't think anything much will happen - the marriage will go ahead as planned. My question is, what happens after that? How do Arnav and Khushi keep meeting?

Deepa, I also think so ... so many ultra-cute scenes, am sure there is a big dhamaka coming up! And I LOVED that prasad giving scene ... Arnav's smile was so meltingly sweet ... he was so delighted to see her wearing his bangles.
You have a point - what if we will have neither a hate marriage or a separation - what if Nani and Anjali just approach Guptas with the rishta? Then what? Okay so those of you who have seen the bindi scene - Arnav takes out her bindi which is somehow sticking in her arm, puts it on the mirror and indicates to her what he has done and she puts that bindi back on.
Now my question is this, from the limited (read serial/films) knowledge of North Indian marriages, isn't there a rasam where the groom puts bindi/sindoor on the bride's forehead? If so, will this mirror bindi scene count as one of the rasams?
Also I am guessing,either Anjali's car will have a flat tyre or Arnav who is heading for Khushi's home to help out the food arrangements will offer his di lift home?
The biggest Q of all:
Assuming there is a proposal, will Khushi say yes to Arnav when she knows Shyam still is lusting after her or would she go the sacrifice way and say no..something about past events etc, how he hurt her blah blah..till Arnav finds out the truth from her?
