Did you hear the sound of her heart break as it shattered into a million pieces?
I said just yesterday that Sanaya Irani is the Queen of Emotions. Today she proved me right ... yet again. Sanaya, take a bow ... you reduced me to tears today ... and this is just the start of the track!

So Akash, the obedient younger brother, waits for Arnav - 'uske bina main shaadi nahin karunga' Lakshman bhaiyya ki aulad :) ... Khushi looks around for him too, her eyes already worried ... and Arnav walks in, all grim and purposeful ... Khushi looks at him wonderingly, worriedly - what happened to him? Mamaji cracks a joke, she smiles involuntarily with the general laughter, and her smile dies away immediately as Arnav glares at her ... what is wrong?! Even more worried ... as it is, she's had a traumatic evening, and with his unexplained sudden anger, it's making things even worse.
Yes, Arnav wasn't the only one who had a traumatic evening ... Khushi did too ...
Payash finally do jaimala ... Khushi showers flowers automatically, not even looking at what she is doing ... all her attention on Arnav, and his on her ... his look, angry, accusatory, hers bewildered, wondering, apprehensive ... what happened, what did she do, why is he angry? Again and again as the rituals progress, she stares at him, her eyes asking questions, he glares back, only accusation in his eyes, but no answers ... and she has to move with the family to the wedding mandap ... yet she can't help looking back at him again ... what is the matter?! What's wrong? What is so very wrong?! Where is the man who till barely a few short hours ago was teasing her, gently flirting with her, making her smile with his every look, making her starry-eyed with dreams ... where is that man, and who is this in his place?
And again she doesn't get any answers ... but maybe her backward look galvanizes Arnav into action ... and he moves quickly, purposefully to her, as she walks slowly, falling back behind the others ... Maybe she was waiting for him, hoping he would come to her and explain ... he does come... but not in the way she expected at all ... and she looks at him, startled ...
He holds her hand ... no, grabs her by the wrist, her injured wrist, which he had bandaged to tenderly and lovingly just a day ago ... now he holds it hard, uncaring for the gasp of pain that escapes her ... and drags her away from the crowd ... to their favorite rendezvous ... the poolside.
And another pause in the Payash wedding ... as both Payal and Akash want to wait for their siblings ...
Who at the poolside are striking a deal ... but only one party holds all the bargaining chips. The biggest one - her sister's wedding.
Once before, Payal's wedding was cancelled at the mandap ... the whole family accused Khushi, said it was all her fault ... Khushi's biggest pain and guilt. She can't let that happen ever again ... And Arnav knows it was not her fault, it was his ... he even acknowledged it in so many words to Payal. Yet, when it comes to the crunch, he uses it to save his sister ... his sister's marriage for her sister's. Because he knows that is Khushi's biggest source of guilt ... she will do anything, literally anything ... to prevent her sister's marriage breaking. Even selling her own self ... body and soul.
She looks at him beseechingly, but sees nothing but ice-cold contempt ... you have to decide. Whether your sister's marriage goes ahead, or breaks ... because of you.
His words perfectly chosen ... to strike her where it hurts her the most.
What does he ask her to do? A contract marriage? Or a pretend one?
For Khushi's sake, I really hope it is a contract marriage, because to force her into a live-in situation would be for her the biggest insult and humiliation. But judging how angry and implacable Arnav is at the moment, it could well be the latter.
And if it is, Arnav is behaving no better than Shyam ... I hate to say this but it is true. Shyam used her Babuji's health and her family's humiliation to force her into an unwanted engagement, Arnav is using her biggest weakness to force her into a fake marriage ... he is trying her, judging her and condemning her without even a fair trial or a chance at defence.
The only plus, if it is a fake marriage, then when things blow over, when Shyam is exposed, Khushi can walk out with her head held high ... I did what you wanted, I fulfilled my end of the deal ... contract over. I'm out of here. And then he will have to beg all the Gods he professes not to believe in, to get her back.
If it is a real marriage, on the other hand, Khushi gets a protector, one she badly needs. And Arnav, following his heart, without using his much vaunted 'dimaag' at all, unwittingly does the right thing ... both for him and her. And gets what he needs as well - his Khushi.
Deal struck, they both return ... to the barely disguised fury of Shyam, who knows something is up, but doesn't know what. Khushi walking in a daze ... barely comprehending what is going on around her, so completely and brutally has her world of dreams been shattered. Arnav follows her - a confident look at Shyam ... now do what you want, check and mate. This game is mine. With Khushi the all-important ... and helpless pawn.
Can't believe the families are so dense as to smile with relief when both are back, without wondering why they keep disappearing!
Akash asks Arnav, is everything okay? Arnav replies yes, and Khushi gives him one last beseeching look, as though begging, don't do this. But he is implacable.
And Shyam is worried - okay, that was the only time I actually enjoyed watching Shyam. :)
And Payash wedding finally happens ... did Arnav feel a tinge of guilt at using Akash as his pawn in his game with Khushi? And Payal ... the girl he had wronged before, and would willingly have wronged again?
And Khushi almost in tears as she thinks about what she just promised Arnav ... manages to smile through her tears at Payal ... Arnav sees the tears and the smile ... and fleeting softening/?guilt in his eyes ... he looks down ... Though he smiles when the Payash wedding is done ... but then looks back at a tearful, devastated Khushi ...
Buaji asks Khushi to put the 'shagun ka thaal' from here to there, asks Arnav to help ... that must be another sign of sorts ... again that speaking exchange of looks between Khushi and Arnav, hers pleading, shattered, despairing ... don't do this, please don't make me do this. But he is still implacable.
I could have watched the exchange of looks between them the entire episode ... their eyes spoke, and Khushi made me choke up with the devastation in hers. Dazed, disbelieving what was happening, trying to come to terms with it ... trying to make sense of it ... pleading with him, at least tell me what happened, why ... make me understand ...
Sanaya is BLOODY BRILLIANT in these silent scenes! Her eyes say it all ... she is unbelievable!!!
And Shyam knows something is happening between them ... and he is twitching in fury ...
Payal and Khushi embrace .. both in tears, but Khushi breaking from inside ... and Arnav actually has to look away from the naked pain in her eyes ... she still manages to smile and wipe away Payal's tears ... her silent promise to her sister? that she will always do what she can to keep Payal happy?
Arnav may make repeated verbal promises to Anjali all the time about keeping her happy and not letting any problems come into her life ... Khushi makes those same promises non-verbally all the time ... and follows through on them, regardless of the cost to herself.
Time for Grihapravesh of one new DIL ... and time for the other to leave the house. Buaji comes to call Khushi, Khushi says she will follow soon ... one last beseeching long look to Arnav, but he is relentless ... and Khushi silently bows to her fate.
She moves towards the door as instructed, moving in a daze, the walking dead ... Arnav follows, goes past and waits at the open door. She goes out, he shuts the door behind her ... shutting her out, away from her family, away from love ...
Was her mistake so great that it deserved this punishment? Her punishment is not for the mistake she made in trying to break Anjali's marriage ... it's for the one she made in breaking his heart. And the worst is, she's being punished for a crime she didn't even commit.
Post marriage games ... and Arnav and Khushi are missing yet again!!!

What is the deal made behind closed doors? The deal that shatters her heart into a million pieces, so that through the chanting of the mantras and the sound of the shehnai, the sound of her heart break is clearly audible … to the man who caused it …
Arnav has an Achilles heel – his sister, Anjali. Khushi has an equally sensitive Achilles heel – her sister, Payal. More specifically – Payal’s marriage. She was held responsible the first time around for the break … completely unfairly – as Arnav, the man who was actually responsible, acknowledged – to Payal, if never directly to her. But the stigma, the pain of those accusations never went away …
And today, he brought it up … he, who knew how much it would hurt her … no, he knew it would kill her if the same thing happened again, and she was again held responsible … he knew it, played on it, used it …
Arnav Singh Raizada using his dimaag to the fullest to cut a deal. What a pity he didn’t use it enough to find out the truth (on second thoughts, if he had, we might not have such a tense, gripping story, superbly enacted … so forget I said that!)

Waiting for your complete post Dia!!...pls hurry:-D Im already having such a hard time waiting for tomorrow's episode. I hope they don't end it with Arnav and Khushi's entry and make us wait till Monday evening for some answers.

I've been fixating on that look Arnav and Khushi share in the precap once they enter RM and also on the fact that he takes her hand and brings her across the threshold of his house- does it mean publicly at least he'll be by her side? because privately its going to be heartbreak high for a while...:-(

Leads keep talking through eyes - and I keep replaying the pool scene and the mandap scene.

But what did he tell her - they are not showing us that anytime soon. For that matter no car rides and seeing these 2 get married tomoow either I think.
She is so upset but she never asked him why? or they just did not show it? And I thought Arnav was in tears too in that scene - he was hurting but he held it all in.
Twist or not - I have always had a sneaky suspicion that if Arnav ever wanted venegence from Khushi he would ask her to live in with him as that to her is the ultimate insult (her belief in the instituion of marriage kinda weakens when she asked for Snake to break his - in present circumstances. Arnav does not believe in marriage. Hence the need to have a prenup (spolier alert) to prevent her from straying to Snake? Question is will they openly admit to the same on an Indian soap airing prime time? Getting married outside well in his current state of mind, he dare not do it in front of Snake as that guy may just blurt out all teh truth to obtain the object of his fantasy. Speaking of which how lonely is this girl going to be - delusional SIL, lost in dreamland SIS, lost in his wife BIL, aloof Arnav and lusting Snake - things seem positioned to get worse before they get better with her so exposed. Would nani smell something amiss - she is a sharp cookie?
Yes cool headed ASR is back but his ruthless face that he showed the past 2 days to Snake was not what he showed Khushi - cold hearted / aloof was his attitude to her - Man this guy is headed for copious guilt and then we shall again weep :(
Is it just me or are the episodes dragging? The wedding day has now been on for 2 weeks and looks like it will continue into next week too :/
And whatever happens, a small part of me jumped in joy at the precap - He leads, she hesitates at the threshold. He reaches out to her as if assuring her of his support and she readily accepts his hand (like in the start of the Teri Meri song amidst darkness) He then confidently strides in bringing her into his house and life as his partner and faces the families while she is totally distraught - a combination of heartbreak + whatever terms she has ageed to. But that 2 second handhold - aww!! stuff of my dreams for tonight :)

I also felt that they are dragging a day to like 2 weeks..its like the time in earth's history when the each day was longer than 24 hrs because of the slow rotation rates ..LOL!!!

ReplyDeleteSome side thoughts - Does Arnav realize how volatile the situation becomes by making Khushi his wife. Not aware of the psycopath that hi jija is, he is yet to learn of the depths that scum will fall to just to satisfy his lust and exact his revenge from Arnav - Khushi is goingto be a pawn till she grows a spine
And when she grows one, when she realizes she is now Mrs.Arnav Singh Raizada, how much fun will it be to see her wield the power teh marriage gives her as well as play with Arnav in front of Shyam just to annoy teh latter -wonder how Arnav will control his emotions then ;)

ReplyDelete4th day of the week, each day dedicated to one character and Today it was Khushi.
Sanaya nailed the expressions:
Be it when Khushi looks at Arnav with hope and a smile and is greeted with intense hatred, she is confused, what did she do to deserve this, she wants to ask him, there is a wedding going on - Her Di's yet she is completely distracted by his reaction.
He drags her away hurting her - Is it the same guy who yelled at her when she hurt himself?
She is crying, her tears did not move him today.
The shock, the sheer horror of what she was about to do, the helpness of not being able to share this with her family, desperately looking for her anchor who will help her out somehow, WAIT..Her Anchor is the cause of it all.
The wedding is going on,she struggles to concentrate looking at him sometimes, eyes pleading, plz don't make me do this and then the Final surrender.
I liked Abhaas darting of eyes back and forth from Khushi and Arnav instantly guessing something has happened and it will not be good...for him.
Arnav is in no mood for any mercy...but he did hold the door for her, sort of..Seems like Khushi got convicted without a fair trial.
Which brings me back to the question, if he wanted to get married why not in front of everyone? So it will be a fake marriage.
I would not be surprised if that is shown on Monday or Friday, Khushi in his room waiting for him and remembering how she got married,
He told her to put the maala on her - herself
He told her to put the sindoor on her - herself
He told her to wear the mangalsutra - herself
All the while probably handing her stuff and keenly watching her. Unfortunately the curtain of betrayal, distrust, hatred is too thick for him to see things clearly, see her clearly..One day he will.
She hated the idea of a live-in thought it was the most disrespectful thing a man could do to a woman, live with her without giving the relationship a name, Character Dheela she called him and now she is being forced to do the same with the same guy.

DeleteThis guy lost his parents, grew up at 15 and took on the burden of the entire Raizada family and as a result lost faith in love and finally when he starts thawing the girl that brought him back betrayed him.
Yes I know she's not having a sordid affair with Shyaam but she's still betrayed him in some way in my opinion. She's had so many opportunities and she hasn't told him. Say what you will I felt that back in December when the Gupta's found out and kept quiet it was a terrible mistake. Firstly Buaji should have been the one to tell Nani and Secondly when Khushi felt she couldnt tell Anjali she should have stayed firm and said something to Arnav or Aakash or Nani or even Mami/Mama!! At that time she kept quiet to protect her own sister's interest which was really wrong.
Yes Khushi is going to have horribly difficult time but Arnav is suffering right alongside her, probably more. He has to hide from his beloved Di that her husband doesn't love her, deal with the fact that his Jijaji who he welcomed into his family and his sister's life and has been a part of their lives for YEARS is in fact a lying scumbag and cherry on top the girl he started caring for deceived him too. And he's in ASR mode now and he's going to hurt her terribly but in the end even that will hurt him only...so sucks to be Arnav...
yup gargi..you make perfect sense..arnav must be going through the pain more than Kushi...hopefully..we will not have to wait too long for all this senti-stuff to get over!!
DeleteI have been very very restless since the last episode. I just couldn't sleep thinking what I saw.. It was heart wrenching. Khushi silently wept, pleaded him with her eyes, and was finally heartbroken. The sound of her heart breaking was not heard by any one...her family...like Buji..her being sad..was mistaken for her sister being married and parayi hojayegi sorts? Arnav who could not tolerate her tears , today didn't matter to him at all. And that hurts!!! :(
ReplyDeleteArnav, in anger, made deal with Khushi to save his sister. Khushi, heartbroken, agreed for the deal, to save her sister. What an irony?
Arnav, the look that he gave her with disgust written all over his face, leaving Khushi confused and left me also in very sad and painful state. Arnav's love and hatred both are extremes and that is dangerous. This would leave his dear ones really really hurt and we are seeing that with Khushi. The way it was enacted, on my god...I was literally holding my breath...Why didn't she try to understand why he was mad? Where did "Aaap theek tho hain na" went? Or did she.. during the pool side conversation? What did they speak? Well, knowing that the whole conversation lasted only for few minutes (considering Payash were waiting for pheras...and Shaym's story wouldn't have finished in that short time), I don't think he heard anything from her side. He made a deal and this deal will have a huge impact on her. I am thinking she will end in up a shell..She will probably lose her chirpiness and go into hard shell which Arnav will eventually have to try very hard break. And what I feel now that it will not be an easy task. But when that happens, Arnav will give his 100% attention to Khushi. He wouldn't be able to give 100% if Shaym's issue is not solved by then. So it means we will probably have an extended hate track and man!! that gives me jitters. And how Shyam's issue will be tackled? Arnav and Khushi got married, but Shyam won't sit quite. There will be cold war. Arnav still does not know how dangerous Shyam could get. Arnav only knows Shaym's adultery, what he does not yet know is Shyam has tried to murder people. Will Shaym end up in attempt of murder case?
The fun part is gone..we are entering in to a serious phase. When Arnav realizes how much he has hurt her..he is gonna be equally SOOOO hurt. Arnav's cold treatment made me feel bad but my heart also went for him. His possessiveness towards Anjali has made him not to think leave alone rationalizing. He is suffering as well and that too big time. He is being strong and trying to do what any brother would have tried. In his words "Accident ho gaya, Jeeja kameena nikla, Khushi chali gayi, Didi bhehosh hogayi, Didi pregnent hogayi" all when he had just started to live his life...and all these incidents have pushed him back very hard. Any other person would have lost it...but Arnav, did break down, but managed to stand up to the situation....and thought a game plan for it...Life sure has taught him that...But I can't just seem to get over his pain, his outburst....
During precap...him holding her hand made me feel good for a moment. Khushi's hesitation showed with her clenching to her pallu. But she too held his hand..did that mean now there was more conversation between them? He lead the way...he will do all the talking..what will say? I am trying to come up with possible reasons, but nothing seems to justify why they had to get married eloping, well cannot give Shyam as a reason. Ironically Shyam is the reason why he didn't get married in the same pendal as Akash got married.. I think the marriage is for real otherwise as per him Khushi would have lee way to break Anjali's shaadi.
But Damn!!! I have never been this restless...even during my wedding, exams and what not...what these fictional characters done to us!! :( Even after we watch SBB/SBS and realize these are actors, but still when I see episodes, I seem to forget that it's Barun and not Arnav,. it's Sanaya and not Khushi.....

ReplyDeleteAgree with you Deeepa..never been so restless ever in my life ;-) and shwetha hope its not that bad as you have written that she puts the sindoor, mala, and mangal sutra ;-(( so sad to even imagine this...and looks like arnie and kushi did not discuss anything about snake's acts. Both seem to be holding it for later. I was kinda hoping that at least we would know what transpired between the two..but I guess the suspense is good ;-) Keeps folks hooked and maybe help for the TRPs ;-)
Loony thought - what if arnav told khushi - you will marry me else I will tell the family about your sister's earlier broken marriage - both of them do not know that the family already knows this and has not told them about what happened on the haldi night when these 2 were playing "vampire vampire". A good setting for showing trust when both realize that the basic reason they got bound is null and void!

Whatever the muted conversation - Shyam never came up hence no chance for her to explain herself.
Arnav is yet to realize the soup he is getting into cos both he and khushi are unaware of Shyam's psychotic nature and readiness to resort to extreme measures. Khushi's incidental nearness to Shyam and care for Anjali will all be misinterpreted by Arnav - dark times ahead!

Dia..just read your entire update on last night's epi. Sanaya simply rocked! The pain of Kushi going through whatever Arnav has proposed seemed so real..My weak heart is all shaken up and I am just dreading how I will survive this upcoming track ;-(

ReplyDeleteSanaya totally ROCKKKKEEDDD ... and reminded me all over again why I became her fan in the first place. The amount of emotion she can get into her eyes is just AMAZING!!! She and Kajol are the two actresses who just act with their eyes ... they put their souls into their eyes, and it shows!
Already put my thoughts on Fake vs contract marriage ... we have actually had pretend marriages before - in movies, for sure, don't remember a tv show ... so that is possible, and that would be the worst humiliation for Khushi - to have to agree to what SHE knows is a live-in arrangement ... regardless of what it seems to the family.
Shwetha, if the scene goes the way you're saying ... shit, I will seriously HATE Arnav ... no one deserves that kind of punishment ... and for a crime she didn't even commit?
And okay, she didn't tell him ... but can't he ask her just once? Blow her up, shout at her the way he shouted at Shyam ... What does that say about his so-called love? That he is so ready to believe the words of a man who has just admitted to lying and deceiving the entire family for the last three years ... can Arnav not use that much-vaunted 'dimaag' of his for one second and think the guy MIGHT be lying about Khushi also? Especially as he's heard Shyam say he loves Khushi, but he's not heard Khushi say she loves Shyam ... No, this is a totally knee-jerk reaction reaction from Arnav ... without using his brain or intelligence at all!
Today is going to be all about the family's reactions, the Guptas' anger, maybe the Raizadas' anger as well, I don't think we'll get to see any ArHi alone till Monday! Another crazy weekend to live through ... weekends have never seemed so long in my life!

@ Dia...I think the whole idea is that for the last 3 days we've just seen Arnav going through stages of shock, denial, anger, helplessness and now ASR has returned. Cool Collected and all about Business deals-one thing we all know he's good at.
DeleteHe's going to fix things however he can for his Di. He's spoken to Shyaam, seen and heard with his own eyes khushi's 'betrayal' and he's taking actions accordingly. The responsibility is Khushi's now.
She can shout at him for La's sake, reason with him for Nani and Di's sake but she cant get a word in edgeways before signing away her life? I don't know doesn't seem like khushi. The only possibility is that the Shyaam topic hasn't come up and she doesn't know what his reason behind the deal is she's simply doing whatever he says to save Payal's wedding. And Arnav has no interest in discussing with khushi how she's in love with Shyaam-he's heard enough. Time for action.
GArgi, my problem is exactly that - he's NOT doing things with his dimaag.

DeleteThe thing is only he has the power to really hurt her, she always bounces back quite quickly if it is someone else.
A random stranger can never hurt you emotionally cos what that person says or does would not affect you that much. But a person you love, you care about, are emotional about - that person has the power to hurt you with the words and actions however small that may be.
There were moments when he did feel bad, but anger is ruling over him now. See if Shyam was not hovering around 24x7 in RM, Arnav would cool down faster, think sensibly and rationally.
Since Snake will continue to give his darshan and start his manipulation with full gusto, Arnav will not have a moment to forget what is Shyam's version than believing the subconscious version which prompted him for the marriage with Khushi.
If it had been anyone else, like Dia said, he would have cared a damn, paid her off. He knows He Can't buy Khushi. After Payash Marriage, he can't mess with Akash's wife. Which is why the deal before marriage cos he can mess with Khushi's sister.
Wish she had called off his bluff but she is under an emotional rollercoaster herself, Shyam's truth, Arnav's sudden change in behaviour and maybe somewhere she is agreeing to it cos she trusts Arnav.
Yeah you guys are right...if it were anyone but khushi he'd have had her packed off and dealt with and then turned on Shyaam...but because this is Khushi he's taken this route...oh man:-(...(silently intoning to myself that its just a tv show and that for 23 and half hours there's real life to live in...lol)

Guptas did a blunder and let Khushi handle the matter. She will be the scapegoat, Payal will get away by saying she wanted Khushi to say the truth and the fact that she wanted Akash to tell the truth about her own broken rishta would go in her favor.
Rest can say, well we asked her to , but she did not say. And there might be a bit of negative reaction from the Guptas at what Khushi did by marrying without telling them.
So the closing of the door to me meant Arnav has completely shut her out of her family, her entire support system be it G or R family who adore is closed.
All she is him, for better or for worse - Just HIM.
HAA: Oh he is going to drown in guilt and every single act of his will kill him from the inside till she forgives him and comes back.
I just wish, he asks her, I saw you with Shyam, explain yourself.

So that when the time comes AND they get married for real, he will rightfully and more than willingly do the honors.
If they show him do anyone of the above thing then it would tantamount to a real marriage.
And here the concept is of Living In.

That Thaal sequence as was mentioned in Tanthya's thread by Doodleberry almost signifies Kanyadaan by Buaji.
Buaji practically handed over Khushi to Shyam by forcing Khushi.
Now by giving Khushi the thaali and asking Arnav to take it, she is symbolically giving Khushi away to Arnav.
Also I don't expect any papers to be signed, that would be mehhh..
I would prefer if it is his word and hers.
This is what he would have told her, you will come and live with me till Anjali's baby is born or for life dunno. I will not marry you. I don't believe in love or marriage.
But for your and my family's sake, we will pretend to be married. You will be wearing sindoor, mangalsutra etc..but only you and I will know that it is not for real.
See if they don't show it this way, where is the much Hyped Never Before shown on TV Twist?
Yes, He should have asked her and not believed Shyam. But if you look from his point of view, it has barely been 1 hour or so where his world has turned upside down. He has not had time to process much.
He has been openly betrayed by a guy he respected and known for almost 4 years. What would the word of an girl whom he knows for 8 months old hold?
Is he right, No. Was she right in hiding the truth from him, No.
In relationships sometimes you have to ignore who is right or wrong, but what can be done to set things right.
It is going to be a painful journey for both of them, the only good thing is they will emerge stronger from this ordeal.

Gargi: That has been the problem with Khushi right, she can fight for everyone else but her own self.
ReplyDeleteHer own self worth is zero according to her. Every affection, love, care that has been shown to her, she feels gratitude towards that person, Never for a moment she thinks that she deserves all those things.
Arnav has been the only person whom she feels is her own, she deserves his love and affection (atleast she was beginning to).
He has been the only guy she has fought, said what she really wanted to say, do whatever she wanted to do and get away with it. With him she is herself, with others there is always a mask, that is what I have always felt about her.
And now the bait is Payal's marriage, if it had been her life (do it or I will ruin your life kinda thing, she would have fought back hard). She can't take that risk with Payal or any other member of her family.
Sooo true...Khushi's such a matyr. She fights for everyone else but suffers in silence herself. At the end of this track I want her to make Arnav work really hard to win back her trust and forgiveness...The track hasn't even begun yet and I already feel so indignant on her behalf...

ReplyDeleteAnd yes we all have been chewing and dissecting Arnav's and Khushi's reactions for nearly a week now since they showed that promo. In ArHi land, all this is to have happened in a span of few hours - people will be totally overwhelmed
IF has this new guess going that Anjali knows her husband may be cheating on her (perhaps not with whom though) and also that she may be faking pregnancy. Kind of like La - keep lying long enough to start believing that lie is the truth
@ Dia - glad to see we thought alike on the FBs from Wednesday.
On Thurs's precap I think publicly Arnav will support here, stand up for her after all he loves here and he also needs to make Shyam burn just as he burns each time Shyam touches Anjali. The fact that Arnav walked in first, took her hand in his when she is all petrified and holds her hand in front of family makes me feel all this.
Let see what happens tonight.

Remember how ruthlessly she got Khushi to work as La's trainer with the contract she signed with Arnav saying accept the job or else pay 1 LAKH.
When in fact Arnav never even asked her for money or bothered about it,so she can do this.
But the thing is Anjali has such a saintly image I doubt that the Channel would allow such a thing even if the writers wanted to show such a thing.
@Shwetha, Gargi ... I think, in fact am sure - he WILL stand by her publicly ... after all, the main purpose for the marriage is to remover her from Shyam's orbit, right? So, his stance will be - MY WIFE, Keep Off ...
ReplyDeleteAnd Nani and Anjali already know he is lattoo over Khushi ... I also feel he might just say he doesn't believe in all these rasams and didn't want to wait - it's shubh mahurat, so we just went and got married. And hopefully he will say it was his idea and he persuaded Khushi.
Rest - even when the truth comes out, Khushi will be the scapegoat - Payal has always wanted to tell the truth, even when Khushi backed out the first time, she was unhappy, she told Akash to tell his mom about her first marriage - so she comes out smelling of roses. Which is okay - she has Manodrama to handle - can't deal with more sobbing from her anyway!
That new theory on IF about Anjali knowing - it might be true in the sense of not consciously - but subconsciously, that is what Anjali is doing - blocking out everything unpleasant ... that is actually possible ... she keeps her rose-tinted glasses on 24/7, and just refuses to see anything ugly. If they show her cracking up when Shyam's truth comes out and actually having a breakdown - that would be quite plausible to me. They could show her needing counselling and major support - so even after Shyam's truth is out, Khushi is needed at RM for her ... or worse, she gets hysterical at the sight of Khushi, so after the truth is out, Khushi actually has to leave ... leaving Arnav wallowing in major guilt that he misjudged Khushi ... and a separation ... again for Anjali's sake ... except that Khushi takes the decision to leave this time, as she is unbearably hurt at Arnav's lack of trust in her.
Chalo, I just wrote the next track ... after all, Shyam's truth HAS to come out at some point, na?! Then uske baad, they still need to keep ArHi apart somehow till Arnav repents ...
Ok exhaling the breath I have been holding all week. Off to grab a box of tissues and watching today's epi on repeat - ArHi all the way!
