Late post ... crazy day ... but was dying to get online and discuss today's episode all day! So the main story starts ... Arnav and Khushi in love, but haven't expressed it, and Snakewa starts his serious antics.
First half of the episode was filler ... why is Payal still agonizing over her first broken rishta? And Manodrama is seriously annoying.
Akash is not good at comedy ... the most difficult genre to do. He and NK can't carry it together ... they need the leavening smirks of Arnav.
Finally Nani worried ... Mami Mama ditto.
Snakewa getting ready for Anjali's kriya-karam ... another sign of over-confidence, or another filler? And what was the bit about 'making Khushi his even before the kriya karam?'
First watchable scene - Khushi dreaming about bindis, Arnav and what he wants to say to her ... sees the message on the mirror ... meet me on the terrace ...
Next - Nani tells Arnav about the crash ... sensible as always, he tries to call the driver ... the police call ... his car in an accident ... Shyam goes "swahaa" gleefully ...height of delusion - does he really think Khushi will come running into his arms if Anjali dies? Arnav loses it with the Inspector, and says he'll go check himself ... as he walks out, he remembers Anjali's words "if I'm not here ...", panics and runs ...
Somehow, not very convincing ... the way Anjali appeared so quickly, before Arnav even reached the front door, crying already ... hardly enough time for the news to sink in, to even imagine that she was gone ... and she was already back ... in an attempt to make it emotional, the cv's forgot to add the more natural emotions ... why didn't he rush to her, ask if she was all right, what happened ... something was missing in the scene ...
It got better when Anjali started talking, and her shock came through ... about the accident, the driver trying to control the car, his being seriously hurt and her taking him to hospital ... the family seemed to be in shock even before any confirmed news came through, or any major search attempt had been launched ... altogether too rushed to register the emotions properly. Although I liked the touch of the family taking Anjali away to look after her, leaving Arnav, as usual to deal with the details ... and his call to ensure the driver's wellbeing ... well done, Arnav. And also showcased again how the family leaves him to do all the actual work, all the burden is always only on him ... to handle everything ...
Anjali remembers she has a husband ... Mami says he's busy ... Anjali says don't tell him ... or Akash ... ok, Akash I understand, but husband?!
Arnav waiting at the door like a schoolboy ... didn't care for this part of the scene very much, to be honest ... but as it went on, and he lay down and almost cried in her lap, it brought out the difference between his feelings for Anjali and Khushi ... while both are his life, one is his weakness, the other is his strength ... with Anjali he becomes a little boy, in need of protection, of support, with Khushi he is her protector, her support ... Anjali weakens him, reminds him of his loss ... every time he loses Anjali even for a short while, he breaks ... while Khushi? What will he do if he really loses Khushi? Even for a while?
And will Anjali use this opportunity to ask him to promise to marry Khushi? Will he agree ... and then go to ask Khushi?
Need more - the scene was short - hopefully it will be continued tomorrow ...
And how will the precap play out?
Many months back, when Khushi went to tell Anjali about Shyam, and ended up not doing so, Sanaya and Daljeet had said that this was going to be a huge turning point of the story. At that time, it didn't seem so ... but now that statement is coming true.

Rather than the silly filler scenes of Mami-Payal and NK-Akash, they could have spent time showing Arnav searching for Anjali and going crazy ... then the emotions when she returned would have been more believable.

I say let them get married ya, we have waited too damn long.
And after that in true SP style they will have their SR late, will bond late, chalega, atleast they will be together in the same room *sparks will fly of which kind, it is an open choice*

The big question is what will khushi say, what will he hear and how will he interpret it?
If at all marriage happens, is it cos Anjali asks him to, although he is furious with Khushi
Or Though he is furious iwth Khushi, he is concerned for her too?
On Anjali:
I loved loved Anjali yesterday. We knew how strong their bond was especially from Arnav side. Today I felt it from her side too.
When he sees her, she is crying and consoles him saying she is alright, I could feel what was going in her head/heart at that moment:
Who will take care of you when I am gone?
To me it felt, she did not care that she got hurt, went through quite a shock the past few hours - The only fea/concern/care she had was for her Chotay not her hubby - But Arnav.
She is totally out of her comfort zone, but look at what she did.
Was involved in an accident, had the presence of mind to take the driver to the hospital and come back without pressing the panic button.
She did not break down completely in front of Arnav, she was able to comfort him.
Which tells me when the time comes and she realizes how Shyam has been betraying her, almost married Khushi and the extent to which Arnav has gone just to protect Anjali even if it meant letting go of Khushi -
Anjali WILL bounce back and emerge stronger.
Agree with Shwetha.....Anjali will also realize the strength she has, just the way Arnav reliazed that he can also fall in love....
ReplyDeleteI too think that Anjali will insist on Arnav marrying Khushi......and that envelope, was it the medical reports, with Anji being pregnant and thats why Arnav can't throw Shyam out.......so the pic where Arnav is holding shyams collars, but shyam is laughing......so to teach shyam a lesson, he will marry khushi (which is what anjali wants, thereby making her happy).....
Poor Khushi, might not even know about the whole truth, till after the marriage, when Arnav will throw the bomb on her..
Also its good that he hears it from the horses mouth that he doesn't love Anjali....wish he realize that Khushi was as much a victim as Anjali.....i think he will......his main fight will be with himself, thinking bt the fact that maybe khushi loves shyam and not him...
Shwetha, I hope so ... that you're right about Anjali. Yes, today she was the stronger one ... she kept her presence of mind, I liked the touch about the driver, worried about him ... and being married myself, I felt even more strongly, how close her connection is to her brother - she was worried only about him, not about Shyam. So although she worships her husband - supposedly - for the first time, I felt that she would be able to manage without him, but her first priority would always be her brother. She will emerge stronger after this.
ReplyDeleteThe question is - if Arnav also hides the truth about Shyam from Anjali, will he be able to fully blame Khushi for doing the same thing? We really have to see how the scene will go today ... have a feeling it will NOT go the cliched way we are all expecting, and will be something different. Another question - in those FB pics - are those divorce papers Shyam is showing Arnav?
But I still feel the whole Anjali going missing and returning was done too quickly ... Khushi going missing was better ... even though there also I felt Arnav over-reacted ...
But maybe that was the entire point - to show that this is one situation where he does NOT think rationally! In contrast with his behaviour over the driver - once he knew Anjali was safe, then the calm, cool thinking boss kicked in and he organized the treatment etc immediately.
Just saw the TB spoiler about the Arhi wedding ... and last night, for the first time, I too felt that a wedding is gonna happen ... till now, I was in two minds.
Geetu, good point ... yes, Anali could be pregnant, so Arnav can't throw Shyam out ... the thing is, it is going to be very different from what we are all speculating ... because if Shyam is showing Arnav AND Anjali those papers, then Anjali also knows what he has been up to with Khushi? It's all VERY confusing!
ReplyDeleteWill his main fight be with himself about what Khushi feels? Or will Shyam still continue to poison his mind, and Anjali's ... Shyam is master manipulator ... his role is by no means over, he will in fact drop his holier-than-thou facade and become full fledged villain now, I think.

ReplyDeleteExactly what i said in the forum, if he hides the truth, he won't be able to blame khushi for doing the same - ofcourse the situation is a bit different, he is her brother and khushi atleast when the decision was taken was an outsider. BUT he will understand eventually.
Anjali pregnant...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...Shyam has been lusting after Khushi and Anjali is pregnant, how sick is that?
My guess is Anjali would sort of ask him to get married to khushi down the line...But something forces Arnav and he insists that they get married rightaway.
Who knows he might confront the Guptas too, Agree to the marriage or else..Though he might do it a bit politely with them..Saying this marriage will enable him to protect Khushi while he sorts out Shyam.
I am hoping Anjali finds out the truth on her own, NK's cam maybe?

ReplyDeleteGeetu, you're right ... I checked again, and it was HP. So I'm even more confused ... does HP find the papers, and Arnav and Anjali discover that Shyam was planning to divorce Anjali? But he wasn't - he was planning to kill her ... unless it's a copy of Anjali's will, made out in Shyam's favour ... that might tip the balance against Shyam ... but then why would Arnav marry Khushi? To save her from Shyam, because he realizes how dangerous Shyam can be? And yet he is angry with Khushi because she hid Shyam's truth from him?

i thought and read on IF that those could be Anjali's medical reports, since she has just come from the hospital....also something confirming Anjali's pregnancy...
DeleteShwetha, that (above) might be what drives Arnav to marry Khushi immediately? The knowledge that Shyam is dangerous ... so marry Khushi to keep her safe, BEFORE starting divorce proceedings from Anjali ... Arnav has to safeguard both women here, not just one ...

ReplyDeleteU know everytime I used to read this show is getting predictable, I wanted to ask that person, Oh YEAH, Can you be specific what exactly is predictable..Everytime we thought something opposite occured.
How many of us guessed he would confront Shyam...We mostly either thought he would confront Khushi or keep quiet till he gathers all facts.
My guess is he must have promised Anjali that he would marry Khushi or something, now he can't refuse her. He probably must have thought wedding will be after a couple of months or so at the time.
Now, he realizes Shyam is hell bent on Khushi, so he needs to take out Khushi out of the equation for Shyam..What better way than marriage..It solves the issue temporarily.
Who knows he might tell Khushi, let us get married and stay married till I figure out a way to oust Shyam from my Di's life.
We don't know how much of Khushi's innocence vis a vis Shyam he would be willing to believe at first.
With Khushi married, with so much people around and him also working from home (lol, wat a good excuse na not going to office), there is no way Shyam can pursue Khushi.
He would still be mad at Khushi but somewhere he needs to settle the issue, even if Shyam deceived khushi, did khushi really have some feelings for him or has it been Arnav all the way for her?
If the family asks why the rushed marriage, he can simply say Di's accident taught him not to take things for granted and not to postpone the inevitable considering all preparations for Marriage are done and He ASR does not need anything from the girl's family, he might or might not Tell the Gupta family that he knows about Shyam or he might just tell Khushi.
Or he will simply keep quiet and Khushi would sense something is bothering him, BUT won't know for sure what till he explodes on her later when they are alone.
They can do soooooo many things. The thing is sending her away is not much of an option cos then Shyam will track Khushi anyway and deep in heart Arnav might believe, Khushi has been a victim and if that is the case, he can't protect her if she is out of sight.
Here at home, there will be people, and he would be there too till he figures something out.
I dont want pregnancy track for Anjali, Too cliche and even more painful, considering last time this PH's record of extending a pregnancy and finally killing it.
p.s. - Dia, if you don't mind can you make the post early, you can later, warna all our heads will explode if we dont discuss.

ReplyDeleteLord, I agree so much to the first ... WHERE has the show been predictable? Nothing we have ever thought of happened, none of the endless predictions have come true ... even now when the main story is starting, we still can't guess how and where it will go!!!
The MAIN reason for Arnav to marry Khushi would be, IMO, to just take her out of the equation ... especially if as the fb pics show, the confrontation is ugly and he starts to see Shyam's true face. SO he would still love her, yet not trust her fully ... from the spoilers, this track will build their trust and will not be a hate track ... and that makes more sense to me ... we've seen Arnav accept his feelings for Khushi, but we really haven't seen him question her feelings - okay, he knows that he affects her physically, but does he know if there is anything more than that? And that may be the reason WHY we haven't been shown much of Khushi's feelings towards him ... except for that one scene yesterday when she was looking forward to talk to him.
He can get Khushi and the Gupta family to agree very easily - use Payal - say that Payash wedding will happen only if they allow Arhi wedding saath mein. And he gets a fantastic excuse to stay at home ... plus Khushi gets a reason to be at RM ... otherwise once Payal's wedding is done, Khushi has no reason to be at RM 24/7.
Also if Anjali is in his confidence, he gets her to keep an eye on Khushi, and if Khushi is in his confidence, he gets her to keep an eye on Anjali.
I also hope there is no pregnancy for Anjali ... that will be simpy awful. And with their past experience of not knowing how and when to end it, I hope they won't attempt it this time.
