Pretty much time-pass episode, except for the Arhi scene, of course - so is this the end of the Kissa Scorpion Ka? And why did Arnav insist on Shyam Anjali taking over his room and him shifting to the guest room? Is that what Khushi will use and find him there? Hope she doesn't go into his room by mistake and find Creepwa there, that's all.
First the Arhi scene ... poor Khushi is sooo flustered, she doesn't know what to do with this new improved Arnav! How to deal with him when he's not sniping at her and taunting her. The taunt about her loss of the bet came as a relief, that she could find something to say, retort back in her usual style ... and Arnav has been observing her closely, he realized that, and that was why he said what he did ... even though his taunt was far more tempered and cool than it usually is ... and her retort was far weaker and with much less than her usual spirit!
And loved the way he casually pulls the bags from her, holds her hand, puts the jhumka in it ... the guy has no qualms or hesitation in holding her, touching her as and when he pleases ... he does so as though he has the right ... and she lets him ... always.
So Khushi tells him that she prays to Devi Maiyya to keep him out of her sight ... is Arnav going to oblige and stay out of her sight, and let her see how much she misses him? Sure enough, she's already looking around for him during the mehndi function ... :) Can't deal with him, can't stay without him ... after she delivers that prayer, she walks off, but can't help looking around for a last glimpse of his face. That wish of not wanting to see his face didn't last long! And Arnav knows it - he watches her go with a very satisfied smile ...
Rest of the episode was pretty much time-pass ... no wonder Sanaya said in the SBS that all they've been doing is looking at mehndi books! Akash wanting to see Payal, NK volunteering, Slimeball staring at a laughing Khushi and renewing his determination to get rid off his wife ... appears that the scorpion plan has been shelved and the new one will result in either Arnav or Khushi getting affected and the other realizing their feelings.
Slimeball ... nauseating as usual as he peers at Khushi ... and NK and Akash don't realize anything wrong?
NK dressing up as woman ... forced, cliched ... the side ones about his jodi with Buaji were cute ... the rest was all pretty cliched and time-pass. Don't care really ... am just glad the comedy is back to where it belongs and is no longer on the leads.
AND ... the cv's should get a HUGE message as to this is what works ... TRP's hit a healthy 4 + this week and IPKKND is back in the top 5! Also the promo aired last week, so must have contributed to the rise ... hope the channel and the PH, whoever calls the shots, sees that too!
ME promo aired ... Shyam up to more tricks, this time ether mixed with Anjali's favourite perfume ... who will get affected?And does he really think that by dousing Anjali in a few drops of ether, she will explode? Or even go up in flames? Must have been a very poor science student in his childhood! Or whoever is writing this track is ;)
Addendum - Khushi looking gorgeous in this new style - loved the color combination of biscuit-color and bright pink, loved her new hair style ... is Khushi finally getting a makeover of sorts? She's looking breath-takingly beautiful in the mehndi scenes.

Dia I kinda enjoyed the last two parts, granted fillers but fun ones especially since the supporting caste were involved and our leads concentrated on Romance.
ReplyDeleteArhi - Hi!*THUD*..I loved the way he gently caressed her hand when he handed the ring back to her..Seeing all flustered, he must have thought, Abhi ke liye itna kaafi hai, will continue later..and he starts with the shart, winning..AND she is completely lost, what shart, what winning and then he brings it up, you can't make me do anything..Now slowly coming back to senses, she retorts.
I think Arnav is curious what is it that she wants him to do,lol.
She repeats the exact same things stay away from me, I dont want to see your face, he takes it all in his stride..Go ahead sweetheart, have your fill, say it..It doesn't work, you are talking to the expert here..
Guest room - I too hope she does not find creepwa there, could it be anjali sends her to get something saying it is in the guestroom and since this is currenly his room, he bumps into her there.
I actually would like to see the scene where she wants water and she cant drink cos of mehendi..like the teej scene..Dammit do something nice for her ASR, We have waited so long for seeing that side of hers.
Okay enough of my bak bak, will be back tomorrow.
Shwetha, I enjoyed the last two parts too, but they were pretty much time pass. No complaints, though ... after two fabulous episodes back to back, and after a good last week where the story and the characters are definitely back on track, the comedy is confined to the side characters and the leads are back to what they do best - intense, passionate yet subtle romance ... me HAPPY!!! :)))
ReplyDeleteThat's why I loved the Arhi scene - like yesterday, I watched it without realizing I was practically holding my breath ;-) ... Arnav at his flirtatious charming best is a Dangerous man ... Dangerous with Capital D ... and he was pushing all her buttons, he doesn't like a quiet Khushi, he wants his fiesty, fiery girl back and so he makes sure he sparks her off ... and watches her flare up with complete satisfaction ... although her flaring is much weaker than her usual fire ... it's more a complaint ... Devi Maiyya, what's happening to me?
I hope they do use Arnav's shifting into the guest room to formulate another unexpected Arhi encounter ... we have two days before the ME so wonder what they'll do. Can use some nice teasing Arhi romance along with the comedy of NK and Buaji.
You know, I was thinking, they should show Arnav slowly redeeming himself for every mean nasty thing he did to Khushi ... like giving her a necklace for the one he bought La, giving her an outfit, if not a shaadi ka jodi, for the one he insulted her about ... and feeding her or giving her water while her hands are full of mehndi ... that would be awesome! And teasing her about not being able to stay away from him, while he tried to stay away from ehr ... a reversal of the NYE but in a teasing way.
I WISH he would tell her that she lost so she has to do what he wants ... and flusters her so much that she agrees! :) I still want to know what he'd make her do!
Let me moan and groan ... I will miss the ME - am travelling back to HK that night! Hope to God they air the ME the next day in HK!!!
Can you post the link of Sanaya's interview where she spoke about the show going off track and now is back on track, please? I seem to have missed that one - can't find it!
Dia, I agree it is settling down time after all the confusion..so the supporting cast's roles are being redefined and the leads being given what they are supposed to do.
ReplyDeleteI know he was too damn good. Barun does this thing exceptionally here and Sanaya matches him so beautifully.
I loved how he got her all flustered and slowly brought her back to the place where she is comfortable in.
You dont want to see you, As you wish and he disappears.

I think he is curious to know what she wants him to do..Atmost she might ask him to pray or wear something traditional for the marriage.
Or maybe he pushes her so much that she says, okay fine you won, what do I have to do..And it will not be something so innocent. He will never cross his limits..but will keep her on the edge. I AM Loving where they are currently taking this story.
Wish we get more Arhi today though.

Thanks, Shwetha, I finally managed to see it! Awww, Sanaya wanted to be back in the top 5 - they're in the top 3! I've been ecstatic since I saw that news ... and the BEST part is, that it happened when the cv's took the route we wanted ... the intense love story back, focus on Arhi and comedy left to the side characters! So they HAVE to have got the message ... and hopefully things will continue this way only!
ReplyDeleteBarun and SAnaya were damn good in the Arhi scene - just re-watching and you can almost hear Khushi's heart racing, and Arnav realizing her confusion and getting her back to normal - but in the ASR way!
I think so too - he wants to know what she will make him do - or maybe, he will tell her that ok, they both lost, so they both have to do what the other says - I still haven't given up my hope of knowing what he would make her do! But I like your way better - let him rile her up into saying she lost, preferably making a move as well and getting real close, she agreeing out of her fluster and embarrassment to do what he says, and him being very, very naughty!
Problem with this couple is, they have such scorching chemistry, their scenes look R-rated with very little closeness! Just their expressions are enough! Hope the channel and moral police don't swing into action ... I can't help wondering whether there was some censorship of the dance - the SBS shots were hotter. Chalo, what does it matter - we saw both!
Dia, The way he is going she will be riled up soon and she did let out he pareshaaned her so much...dead giveaway that whatever he does, says affects her..You could see the satisfied smirk on his face.

I experienced one *THUD* today and imagined a possible bad *THUDS* coming.

"Hi....." came in husky voice with and I along with Shwetha and others also went *Thud*. Man!!! for a moment I remembered Arnav shouting "GET OUT...." and "TUM YAHA??" and "CHALI JAO YAHA SE.....". Now it seemed more like he is welcoming his girlfriend. Khushi confused as hell and not knowing how to reciprocate....after a struggle....lot of struggle....comes out "Namaste......". I liked their Hi and Namste. Shows their contrast again. I couldn't help smiling just realizing how far they have come now. Sanaya beautifully shows her dilemma through her eyes. Beautiful expressions....
Second:
Arnav's sweetness is really scaring me off. After this flirting, which we are enjoying now, getting that tinkling sensation, thinking what all Arnav could do, what all situations he will flirt now, and anticipating lot and lots of Rabba Ves.... if then a hatred track comes in.....neither Khushi will be able to tolerate nor us. Just thinking that I went *Thud* and *Thud*. Arnav's cold treatment will be a kill. I am very sure Barun will play that equally well.
Any way for a moment, seeing the recent tag line "Kya Khushi lagayegi Arnav ke naam ki mehandi....", are you also thinking marriage track coming soon? Any ways, wedding checklist is also in progress , even though its been accidental. Engagement ...done, haldi ...done, mehandi...I am sure will be done..... If that happens I would love that.
Do you both feel hatred track coming? Why would Arnav hate Khushi? Because Shyam will create misunderstanding or because for the for the fact that she hid? Sigh!!!!

Deepa: That is why all this intensity this passion will be touching new heights so that when it falls and the supposed hatred track starts, all of us would suffer.
Ya, looks like wedding checklist is slowly being completed. Also apparantly one of the writer of the show talked about 2 weddings and maybe a funeral (not confirmed yet if it is our own show cos she writes for other shows too).
He will hate her and unfortunately rightly so for hiding this from him. He won't blame her for Shyam..Shyam is a 30 year old Married guy..And he knows the Guptas & Khushi too well. HE will be furious with her for not telling him and letting him down.
I am not sure we will see a full fledged hatred track the way it was initially intended cos from the audience it is obvious that they want to see Arnav khushi together and shyam getting exposed..so after a brief period where he will be furious with her, they will be okay, hopefully.
OMg........whose funeral Shwetha, I hope not Anji.....no matter how saccharine sweet she is, i don't want her to die....

When he is at his flirty best, how can Khushi be anything but confused and flustered, poor girl :-)
