I don't know about Khushi, but my heart was going 'dhak dhak' during the Arhi scene today ... simply LOVED it! The hunt is truly on ... Arnav cool, calm, self-assured, knows exactly what he's doing, Khushi nervous, flustered, doesn't know what the hell is going on with him ... and with her ...
The scene went exactly as I had expected, and as I wanted ... he doesn't say anything directly ... just tells her to come down, and almost as an afterthought, asks her if she's going to thank him ... she does, instantly, hesitantly, still flustered and confused ... he starts to leave ... and comes back and lets down her hair ... easily, calmly, as though he has all the right in the world ... leaving her more flustered still.
And loved the Arhi looks all through the presentation ... Khushi was so gung ho about winning the competition, now that competition doesn't seem to matter at all, the fact that she has won it doesn't even seem to register ... all her attention and concentration is on the man behind her win ...the way he gestures to her ear and she realizes that she forgot an earring ... it's as though they can't stop looking at each other ...
Loved the way both are lost in each others' thoughts all through the night after the sangeet is over ... Arnav got his next keepsake, her earring ... Khushi staring at the Nataraj murti and remembering only the dance ... Payal asking her why she's not more excited about winning the competition which till yesterday meant everything to her and Khushi tries to regain her spirit ... until Payal mentions Arnav again, and Khushi quickly negates his role in her win ... and then later confesses to Nataraj ... I lied, it was because of you that I won ... thank you ...
Rest of episode about Buaji getting back at Mamiji, and about the Snakewa and his plan with the scorpion backfiring big time before it fizzles out ...
Precap ... again dreamy ... so Arnav is on the prowl, how long can Khushi hold out?

She is totally at sea (pun intended) when Arnav is so close to her..This is one where he is experienced and she has just started experiencing and ODB knows that,lol.

Mami-Buaji_ I acutally laughed out load, it was kinda silly but the biggest plus for me was the comedy is back with the sideroles and our leads can concentrate on ROMANCE.
Arnav_Khushi: I loved he looked at her with so much pride and genuine happiness..And she was aware of just him and no one else..Earring scene was cute too...
ROFL scene : Scorpion on Snake..How unexpected was that...
Does Snake realize Anjali saved him? Ungrateful U know what, grr...
So scorpion is going to be roaming the house till it finally bites Khushi?
I am now not even keen on the bichoo kaating thing yaar, Arnav knows what he feels and he is actively pursuing..why do we need a scorpion now?

Yep, I agree on that one ... let him really fight for her, woo her, let her act a little pricey ... he's put her through a lot, so don't want him to have things too easy. Right now the way he's flustering her, he's going to have a cake-walk.

Loved the dialogues too ... my mom was watching with me (she adores Sanaya too) and she laughed out loud at that one ... why do you keep going back? Because you keep coming forward ... awww ...

Yep, loved the way he looked when she was collecting her prize ... and loved the way she was least concerned about it, all her attention on him ... the competition was literally a life-and-death affair just one day back ... and now when she wins, she barely registers it! Both just totally fixated on each other ... this falling in love phase is always the best!
Methinks the comedy is back to the villain ... Shyam has been more and more comical in these last few days ... Kissa Missing Scorpion Ka :))) But oh yes, so glad that it's back to the side characters and the leads can get on with the romance ... they are spiffing bloody GOOD at it! Haven't seen the IF video ... will check it out, but sounds cute ... so she will miss him during the mehndi ... awww :))) Am sure he will creep up on her again when she's alone and ask her, missing me? Can't wait.
Will the scorpion strike during the wedding? Just had a thought - maybe the cv's postponed it till the wedding was safely over ... because of the logistics we discussed a few days ago :)
Dia, He needs to know how much he is capable of hurting her, how much he hurt her on diwali night. And he was the primary reason for her agreeing to Shyam's proposal cos uptill then she was quite firm on her refusal. I am not being a feminist or something of that sort..He NEEDS to know and fully understand the power he has on her, so he is atleast careful the next time.
ReplyDeleteI watched Love Ne mila di jodi from the same creative writing team, there too the major thing happens just right after marriage in the mandap.Now that the scorpion is sightseeing RM, they can always count on it to do its thing in Mandap, who knows.
Personally I would rather prefer, if they drop it all together..Let arhi have their moments for now.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you ... I want her to not fall into his arms for exactly that reason. He shouldn't have it so easy, he HAS TO know how much he hurt her, why she agreed for her engagement, and how much she tried to refuse it ... and he HAS TO know how much he hurt her on Diwali.
I didn't know the LNMDJ was from the same team - I liked the Prithvi-Damini jodi there, they were well-written ... so hopefully this team can do the subtle development of the romance and keep Arhi apart for some more time ... I don't want them together so soon!
Yep, agree, let the marriage go off all right, so that the ceremonies are all over and done with, then they can progress the main story. I don't know if scorpion will be dropped completely,, though ... and make way for Shyam's next plan ... because now with Shyam getting an inkling of what is happening between Arhi, he is going to be hell-bent on getting rid of Anjali asap and getting hold of Khushi, whether she likes it or not. Which may be what leads to the next phase of Arhi ... at the moment, am enjoying the chase. Love the predatory Arnav when he's not being nasty and is laying on the charm ... and the flustered, all at sea but still fighting Khushi :)
Simply WOOOOW...Arnav and Khushi together even for just 5-10 minutes lift the episode tremendously....amazing isn't it?....truly cracking chemistry....
ReplyDeleteAll for those scenes where they were shown....my heart also went dhak dhak, awww, hmmm, and aila.....Arnav for sure can be sweet as honey when he wants and can also be karela oopar se neem chada huva when he wants. He will do at his will. Though he is madly in love, but apane marzi ka malik hain. Everything will happen only if he wants. He can just simple throw her, or shatter her, or say all mean things, or fully woo her ONLY when HE wants....
Khushi beautifully showed her agony. Confused, vulnerable, nervous and still SO innocent. Suddenly from last week to this week she is all grown up. I like this Khushi.
And OOOO.MMMM.GGGG Arnav at his best of flirting.
Aaap? Haan mmmmain.
Kyon kya hua? Dar kyun gayi? MAIN TUMHE KHA THODI JAONGA? Amazing confidence from Arnav's side..

But I wonder, Why Arnav shows such confidence? Does he think, NOW that HE has fallen for her, Is he expecting her to reciprocate same way? Is he expecting that Khushi will also acknowledge? He for sure knows she has feelings for him. But I am loving it.....we all waited for almost 200 episodes for Arnav to switch on this charm ;)
Him taking out her clip, complimenting her on color was nice touch. All eye locks during rest of the episode nicely done. Arnav indicating missing ear ring was tooo sweet. I went awwwww...
For sure he has come long way from Oh-So-Khadoos to Mujhe-Koi-Farak-Nahi-Padta to Na-Shakal-Dekhani-Hai-Na-Baat-Karni-Hai to Mai-Tumhe-Harane-Ke-Liye-Kuch-Bhi-Karoonga to Lemme-Show-How-To-Flirt.....
But Kudos to CVs to keep such engaging audience. Hope they continue like this. LM's facebook says....it's a just love story......I am assuming lots and lots of Arnav and Khushi does coming our way. I want Arnav to try hard to win. Would for sure want him to fully turn on his flirt mode with full energy.

Dia - You liked Prida too, I loved them..Actually loved Damini more, lol. Here it is both of them equally. The screenplay, dialogue writing team is the same as in LNMDJ, which is why the first thing I did when I watched the ARHI hide & seek cupboard scene was to look at the credits and went, Tabhi toh..I like these two.
ReplyDeleteI strongly feel that the PH & Creative writing team is correcting al the mistakes they did with Prida (by getting them married too soon) and maybe Geet (didn't watch it, but I am sure it had its flaws too).
Therefore the delay in getting them married. Yes, he HAS to know and it has to be a serious conversation between the two..not some lighthearted thing..You know he is too close to her and she remembers post diwali dialogues of his..till recently..and she has to tell him that the hesitation on her part is not because she does not have feelings for him..but more so cos of his flip flops, she managed to bounce back once..she might not have the strength to do it again.
Post marriage, well don't the north indians (I am a south indian btw) have this custom, where the bride's sister stays with her sister at her inlaws place for a week or so? That would easily pave the way for khushi's stay in RM for some time. That way Arhi story can move more. Also Arnav's feelings can be cemented seeing how much he loves having her around and so does his family. Khushi's too - how much she has started to care for R family who also genuinely love her back and ofcourse having access to Arnav 24x7 lol.
In all this hopefully Shyam will get more desperate and maybe Arnav & Akash will notice that the Gupta Sisters are obviously uncomfortable around their Jijaji.
Deepa: Barun Sobti completely nails it. He seems to have mastered this art. He knows how to exactly use his voice, his eyes and ofcourse his hands, lol. That is the ASR we would love to see for atleast some more time and Khushi trying hard to resist him.
Tum hamesha peechay kyon jaati ho?*THUD*..That is signature Arhi for me..and probably second best dialogue of the show after "Aap ASR honge aapkay ghar may, Yeh mera hi ghar hai".
I too LOVE this khushi..She used to look like a bit of a kid in her chamkili avatar..Now she looks young and beautiful and you can see why and how a 28 year old guy would fall for this 18 year old (hope you all got what I am trying to say).
And she is quick, she has immediately changed her hairstyle, I hope he comments on her suits so she can get rid of them..Good to see sanaya getting better dresses now.
As for his confidence, Well I think it is a bit of both, he wants her (and u know why would anyone reject me confidence) plus he knows she responds to him (during the dance remember how he is the first one to open his eyes and look at her..as if to reconfirm, reassure himself, yes I am right about this, she feels it too). And I think he realizes that she is still naive in lot of ways and probably knows deep inside that she has buried those feelings for him (like he did for a while), so it is his way of making sure they don't stay buried and she acts on them.

ReplyDeleteloved the episodes....but one dialogue is haunting me.......what did Arnav mean, when he said, ki tumhare ishaare par nahi toh kya hua, par tumhara saath toh nacha........
does he mean that everyone dances to her tunes......sorry for picking out the negative stuff, apart from this dialogue and lill sad look in his eyes when Khushi accepted the award.....everything else made perfect sense......
these two things....i didn't understand.......

DeleteMy interpretation of those lines ... he meant, I may not be the Prince Charming of your dreams, I might not say the sweet nothings all lovers say, but I will be with you every step of the way, whenever you need me.
Because he also knows he's not the kind of guy who will be all sweet and charming, who will whisper sweet words, who will make extravagant promises like fulfilling her every wish, her wish is his command type of guy ... but he is there for her ... WITH her ... tumhare saath ...
I did watch that scene again, where he was supposed to be sad when she was accepting the award, I don't think he was sad ... I think it was pride.
Ever since the kitchen scene last Monday, I think they've been showing a change in Arnav ... it's been a sudden change after the childishness of the haar jeet competition, so it's a little difficult to understand, but definitely the cv's have made note of the feedback and so we're getting not only a new improved mature Khushi, but also a more mature, introspective Arnav, who is beginning to face his feelings, rather than always try to be one up on Khushi. And that was what I felt in the kitchen scene last Monday - it was about putting the challenge in place, but also it was about this new level of trust between them ... where they could agree to this bet on terms unseen, undecided ... when he turns to check with her - "kuch bhi? Sure?" and she replies, "yes, kuch bhi" ... She is nervous, yet ready to commit ... and his expression changes, becomes contemplative, as though recognizing that her answer shows her trust in him ... that she knows he would never do anything to really hurt her.
And that is one huge thing to progress their relationship - I always said that attraction is one thing, but unless there is trust and respect, it cannot be true love ... and here we find the beginning of that trust and respect ... she trusts him enough to agree to his unseen terms, and he recognizes and respects that trust. Which is why I felt that even when he goaded her during the sangeet when she became nervous, it was his way of encouraging her to do her best ...

Geeta, I am the optimistic one here..So I am hoping that what he meant was. I never thought that I would dance and that too with you. So here I am having danced..that too with you, and who knows I might just do exactly what you want me to do too (when we are together)..He already does pretty much what she wants anyway, so maybe it is his way of saying..This is just the beginning, know what I mean?
ReplyDeleteI did not note the sad look to be honest(I was busy noticing khushi and how beautifully sanaya did the whole scene,lol), Did note he had that glazed look - maybe he got a bit emotional he was the reason for her winning, her smiling..He had that look during the silver coin scene too and It is the acceptance of what she means to him and to what extent he would go for her.
Dia might give you a better idea..I am bit too optimistic today ha ha with the trp news.
