First half - imitation is the sincerest form of flattery - not here, it isn't! Sanaya ROCKED =)) she got Mami's intonations down pat! Buaji's too, though that part was shorter. The most hilarious bit was of course when she opened the door and saw entire Raizada khandan standing there - my husband actually chuckled aloud at that part - and he doesn't often find Indian telly genuinely funny! And loved the way Arnav had to swallow his laugh - even more of an effort than the Payal-Akash time!
Also loved the way ODB went all the way to GH just to have the last word with his lady love ... like I guessed, it's all about the challenge for them ...
The last part in the kitchen ... the intensity is BACK!!! :) :"> :) Well and truly back! And Khushi is growing up slowly ... she was all nervous, flustered and very aware woman in that last scene ... no child there at all!

OMG, Khushi was just EPIC!!! =D> Hats off to Sanaya ... the voice, the tones, the intonations, the body language, the walk ... everything perfect!!! Am sure she took lessons from the original ... that's why Nani, Anjali and Mami were laughing about it on the SBB segment! But whatever ... she was amazing!!!

The door opening scene with Arnav's, Khushi's and Mami's expressions was completely and utterly hilarious!!! :D :D :D Utter gem of a scene!!!

Buaji offers to get it ... he refuses politely ... he knows his way around well enough.
Making himself completely at home ... and getting his private time with Khushi ...
Khushi in the kitchen, getting rid of telltale Mami earrings ... worried if Mami saw her ... not at all worried if Arnav saw her ... she knows she's safe on that front - he won't tell. She forgot one rose in her hair though ... Arnav comes into the kitchen, removes it as smoothly as though he's been doing this a long time, and her hair cascades down over her shoulder. He offers her the rose, she takes it and puts it down, nervous already ... he's in her space and looking very confident about it.
"Actually, I'm from Lucknow too ..." as though they were in the middle of a conversation and he's just continuing it ... tones smooth, silky, non-threatening ...
She stares, baffled ... aap ... kya? What has that do do with anything?
He repeats ... I said, I'm also from Lucknow.
Still baffled, the morning's conversation is the last thing on her mind, besides the way he's looking at her, so calmly, confidently is making her even more nervous ...
Haan ... toh?
He moves in, what he reallywanted to say, what's been bugging him ... so how dare you walk away from me when I'm talking, how dare you cut my phone ...
Bua calls again for tea ... but before she can even answer, he cuts in ... no more interruptions, he will have his say this time, and the hell with anyone trying to interrupt ... Enough! Now I talk, you listen! Your saying you'll win doesn't mean a thing. I never lose ... the boys' side will win ...
So that's what this is all about. His challenge and his ego ... yet again. Well, she's never one to back away from any challenge. She never did earlier when she was a nobody, and definitely not now ...
I don't know what it is to lose ... that's not in my vocabulary ...
Are you so confident? ... and he starts moving in on her ... she starts backing, slightly alarmed but not too much yet ...

so sweet of you Diyu........its was a good episode...Sanaya's acting as Mami was good.......but i didn't laugh much....laughed a bit only when Arnav saw her.....and he smiled a bit, just the way he had during payash play-act....it was cute.....

Sanaya ROCKEEDDDDDD today. And liked Deepali's expressions too.
I thought a sister teasing her soon to be married sister and imitating her saasu ma was quite normal and Khushi was awesome, heck even Arnav thought so.
Loved Barun's chuckle there.

Arnav is sooooo comfortable in GH, that is always so sweet to see.
Loved their scene. Him taking that rose from her hair, momentarily lost in her before recovering, her awkwardness even if it was for a sec.
He held up Khushi when the whole family was waiting for Tea that was a bit odd. Is that would land Khushi in trouble?
The challenge. Hmm..A gentle reminder of their shared history and how she has lost. I think it served twin purpose - reminding khushi of their moments and also the viewers, ki bhai hamain bhi yaad hai woh baaten, sabr karo.
I am now soooooooooooooooo sure she will be the one who is going to tank the challenge unless it heads for a tie with both of them tanking, lol.
Also just like 1 lakh didn't mean a thing to him, he challenged her for the fact that here was someone who stood up to him and dared to accept his challenge, I see the Sangeet challenge too the same way.
Rasams/Sambars be damned, I am in it for the sheer challenge and It will be fun to see you lose. Except Neither ODB nor ODG are capable of seeing the other lose, so let us see where it goes.
And IF someone missed the higher intensity levels compared to the very recent NYE episode, Well what can I say, U missed it.
I wonder now what trouble Khushi would be in now, Will Shyam do something in GH and Arnav will help her out. What would be Khushi's reaction in seeing Shyam trying to be so friendly with GH and pretending nothing happened..
Would she start getting an inkling that there is more evil to Shyam than she perceived?
I am looking forward to the challenge and the run up to it..
They are trying their best to bring the Arhi story back on track and can I say succeeding fairly too.

Love the song you used for Shyamuu ... what is the guy up to? He was proving a point to Buaji for sure ... but why?! How does he plan to get Khushi this way - the girl won't even look at him, ALL her attention is on her LG!
Sanaya imitating Maami - I thought that would happen in the sangeet - guess because it's a joint sangeet, Khushi wouldn't go that far, but yep, a sis imitating her sister's would-be MIL - completely natural and Sanaya was FABULOUS!!!
It was good to see Arnav finally get off his butt and DO something - he wanted to go to GH to see Khushi, and to get the next phase of the challenge rolling, because she checkmated him on the previous one ... he went to GH and started the attack straight away! I do like a man who knows what he wants! =))

You know I have his resigned look when she switched on the light on NYE Stuck in my head. It was like Oh crap, This is my destiny, Okay.
So I think that has made him a bit more proactive. Ofcourse the fact khushi is busy with everyone in the family including NK and the dance practice didn't help either. Remember earlier How she used to barge in whenever he was working, Now ODB has to come down everytime to catch a glimpse or even talk to her.
Oooooooh, I love that walk of his and her corresponding taking a step back thing..again that scores much much over RV where all they end up doing is stare at each other till their eyes become dry. This is soooooo much more fun.
And he knows she is not immune to him, never was but for a brief period, I think she completely ignored his closeness. Now ever since the public RV & NYE Blanket-bad, ODB is turning his charm full on and she is getting a full blast of it and succumbing to it.

its good if he has accepted her as his destiny, and will do something to get to her, even if it means in the form of some challenge.....as long as he tries to keep her away from NK, it wud be fun to watch, cause NK is totally lattu over her......and i guess in a couple of days, he will take the decision of marrying her.....hehehe

ReplyDeleteNow that Shyamwa has started to move slowly , and Arnav and Khushi are having a challenge track of their own, I am guessing these two tracks would meet somewhere.
In the Friday episode, Arnav had oozing confidence and Khushi was so nervous. More nervous she is, more fun Arnav seems to have ... I loved Barun's expression when he says "haan...agar tum har gayi to?...". If Arnav wins, what would he ask Khushi to do? If Khushi wins, what would she ask him do? This has become more important question than release date of the project. :)
They way he made himself at home at GH was nice. Did he actually offer her the flower? It seemed more like she just took it from him. And heck...missed chance of seeing her in pink salwar and open hair. I guess, that would be reserved for after wedding track ;)
Now that we are taking about wedding track which probably will start in short period (2-3 months), I just couldn't help recollect this segment from SBB/SBS where Barun says "Agar Arnav ghade ki tarah khada rahega, tabhi Khushi ki shaadi Arnav se hokar rahegi...". I am dreaming what would be intensity between leads then?

And those eyes, Uff..To be honest, I cant seem any actor get it so right (or maybe I have never noticed before,dunno) - The way he looks at her ,his eyes conveying exactly what he is feeling at the moment, And the voice modulation dunno who said it but they got it right. His voice was seductive. No wonder Khushi got hit by a double whammy, his closeness, his voice...Full credit to her if she recovers.
I wrote this on your TWTW, so pasting it here again.
As for the tagline on khushi being in trouble and Arnav helping her out, my guess is when they go back they will overhear/see Mami making some remark on the jewellery that the G family brought for her (Payal wondered about that, remember), So It will be an awkward situation for them and Khushi might be upset about that.
So Arnav may offer to help them out so Mami doesn't know and Payal can have a smooth entry and Khushi might insist on a job or something and he may offer her one in his office...See I am back to predicting :)
Anyway My guess is ME would be Payash wedding, unless they drag the whole thing.

agree with u, why are they keeping everything a secret.......no shopping, no calling the decorators etc, remember for the engagement, everybody was so busy on the phone all the time, and for payash wedding, nothing......
they bought jewellery for the engagement, with LA picking so many sets....but nothing for payal.......seems so strange, isn't it.......
i was so hoping that they would play the similar track, with showing different ArHi equation, after the broken engagements.......
u know something like he sees her not buying anything for herself, he buys a nice a jewellery piece or a pretty dress......though he doesn't need to gift it to her.......but atleast we would come to know that the equation has changed......but i guess they want to keep us guessing.......till the shyam truth is out....and maybe till ArHi are actually married....

AGree with you both ... the date of the Payash wedding is being guarded like a state secret! No shopping, no preparations, except for Sangeet, the sangeet is usually the day before the shaadi, two days at max ... s is the Payash wedding and the Shyam revelation in the ME? No promos either ... I think ME promos will start only next week, really keeping us guessing!!!
Yaar, Arnav will buy her everything after the wedding only ... the guy has no brains right now! Shwetha, after the SBS, I think the trouble to Khushi will be her wardrobe only, not Mami's jewelry ... they're already at the sangeet. ReplyDeleteDia, Bichchoo song is my hubby ke zamana ka song..*head desk*..Kajra wala since it was on oldies chalega...But bichoo on Nani, Naah..Even NK does not deserve that yaar..And for Bichoo why did they do Half nagin dance...This show has bad choreography, costumes...Credit to the actors who make it still look good.
Wardrobe malfunction lol, that is a new one..so long that is a private arhi moment and shyaam is nowhere to be seen within 1 km of it, I am okay with it. But in her dress, where is the chance of dress malfunction..Like NK said looks more like a sweater, mabe it will look good in the show.
I still think it will be mami or some other trouble cos usually the time lag between the tagline and the epi is 2-3..So we had khushi in trouble on thursday so it might happen today..Arnav will help out tomorrow. And for sangeet we will get a new tagline today, let us see.
I didn't get what she was wearing either...Is PH KE Kanjoosi ko kya naam doon..Sanaya looked great though as usual.

Someone posted on the forum, I forget where ... the problem might be this ... Khushi was wearing Mami's jewelry in the kitchen, so Arnav helps her put it back into the box without Mami suspecting ... it might just be that simple, because the taglines are usually pretty misleading! If it's just that, we'll get to know today itself thankfully! :)
ReplyDeleteWardrobe malfunction I am still thinking of though, because the top does look rather strange ... what were the designers thinking of, ... unless it will change halfway through! Or maybe it will look good on screen ... can't say!
