Another Arhilicious episode ...
Sanaya looked simply stunning in the new style of suits - hope they're here to stay ... and the color ... bright yellow really suits her ... and the ponytail ... I was hoping she would switch from plait to ponytail, and she did ... loved that!
Didn't like the imposed shots of Barun at the door ... spoiled what was a really good Arhi scene!
So Khushi kissed him back ... much to her own horror ...
I was actually glad to see the snarky ASR back, and the usual spirited fights. And loved the way he casually used her dupatta to wipe his face ...
Another full circle ... at their first meeting, he tore her dori and she used her hair to cover herself ... today, her dori came undone and he used her hair to cover her from NK's gaze.
Anjali and Nani ki tubelight jal padi! And they're full steam ahead ... so something major will happen the next week!

Loved the first bit - continuation of yesterday ... Arnav kisses Khushi - slowly, deliberately, purposefully ... and waits for her reaction. Khushi too flabbergasted to do anything other than twitch her dupatta out of his grasp, and run away ...
Downstairs she remains distracted completely ... Anjali notices and asks if she's fine, did Chotey do anything? Khushi says no immediately, instinctively ... thinking only of the kiss ... Anjali deflects the topic to Khushi's mehndi, and sees the A ... Khushi tries to explain it and Arnav, coming down the stairs, smirks ... Anjali's tubelight actually flickers briefly.
Back at GH ... Khushi still lost in kiss ... very sweet sisters' scene, with Khushi feeding Payal ... one bite for each family member, and putting herself last as usual ...
Next morning - Haldi ... the sisters fool around again - some of their playful scenes are really cute :) Then Khushi is sent off to RM with Akash's clothes ...
Proprietary Arnav - she meets Arnav at the door, laughs at his haldi smeared face and he coolly grabs her dupatta as though it's his right, the most natural thing for him to do, and cleans his face. So the groom's haldi goes to the bride ... one more rasam done! And he reminds her about the challenge ... the guy wants his kiss, and this is one challenge he is perfectly happy to lose! :"> =))
A nasty encounter with Shyam ... loved the way Khushi shook her dupatta out of his grasp, left him standing, refused to eat a bite of his jalebis ...
Protective, possessive Arnav - makes it a point to sit in the living room right next to where Khushi and NK are choosing bangles ... NK admires Khushi's exposed back and Arnav sees red ... yanks her hair tie off and loosens her hair to cover her back. Full circle ... at their first meeting, he ripped her dori off and she used her hair to cover herself, now he becomes her protector and does it for her. And scolds her for not understanding how other men could be looking at her ... she is far too innocent for her own good.
Nani ties Khushi's dori, and Khushi understands what Arnav was doing ... he was protecting her, caring for her ... so when he lets loose another salvo about the challenge, this time she takes it up ... yes, she can kiss him back ... impulsive as ever Khushi! And horrified after the act ... did she just do that?
As pole-axed as Arnav is ... she kissed him? In full view of his family?!
Methinks he was more than a tad disappointed at that ... no follow up action was at all possible from him ... hence his annoyance at the door ... what was that? And was it only about the challenge?
And she says, yes ... so he challenges her ... but your cheeks are red ... she shoots back, you're not sounding normal either ...
But they won't say it yet ... so she flees.
I so wish the door scene had been done with Barun ... the effect was ruined by using the old cut paste shots.
Loved the shots of both remembering the kiss later at night ... :">

ReplyDeleteloved the ME........every scene was good and engaging.....except Shyam.......
loved Khushi-Payal scene...first time, had tears in my eyes.........
ArHi scenes were obviously the BEST.....loved the way he covered her back from the oogling NK..... also NK realized that though Arnav fights with Khushi, he still cares for her.....
also Khushi realized later why he did that and was all thankful to him......
and finally Anji baby got some brain, don't mind that Shyam knows it now....m ok with it cause Anji and Nani knows and they will make sure that it happens....
also the precap......he took his name with her, without them mentioning anything........m sure they are gonna say that they are talking bt khushi and Nk (ofcourse without telling NK) just to rile him up.......
want to see his reaction.......
also the haldi ceremony done between ArHi....i wanted him to rub some haldi frm his cheek to her cheek just to tease her... or maybe Anji using the same hand to rub some on khushi's face..... but m fine with this too.........

DeleteYep, am glad that Anjali and Nani know as well as Shyam, so while he's trying to kill Anjali, they get on with playing Cupid for Arhi ... they neutralize him, as it were.
Hehe ... they did mention NK ... hopefully they will keep NK out of it, though ... not raise his hopes unnecessarily - unless they recruit him as an accomplice ... they definitely don't want Khushi to marry NK, so that part is okay.
Whooohooo Nani and Anjali know now. I am so releived.... The two weddings for sure coming soon....Assuming Arnav agress, how will Khushi react? Seems like wedding will happen without confession but aag dono taraf bara bar lagi hai...
ReplyDeleteIn between, Barun looked weird today. Tired...more beard and that ill fitted suite. Khushi looked like sunshine. I am glad her hair changed.
Him wiping haldi using her duppatta was too cute...teaching a lesson to NK was nice too....I am sure NK knows now.

Deeps, you think the Arhi wedding will happen? Me getting more convinced that it won't ... I think cv's will drag this falling in love but not confessing phase a while longer. Besides the wedding of the leads should be a major affair ... from the TRP viewpoint! Look how the first hint of their romance has jump-started the TRP's! :)
DeleteBarun's wardrobe needs a major overhaul. And he needs to decide on his stubble - some days it's just too overgrown. I like him best when he's almost but not quite clean-shaven. The Arnav kiss day was much better.

ReplyDeleteI loooved the dupatta haldi scene and ofcourse the dori scene - One naughty and the other protective side.
The kiss was okay, it was smartly done, but since they had to rush through that scene in time for ME..I felt reactions could have been better..ofcourse the editing blunder during the door scene didn't help either.
So nani & ANji know - My guess is they won't take NK's name straightaway..but start with how good Khushi would be for Arnav till Nani smartly drops a bomb...But arnav does not believe in marriage na, so let us not force him..We will ourselves look for a good boy for khushi, Arnav on the defensive..wah wah..
I don't want them getting married so soon, ya. I was hoping for loads of flirting, wooing..and marriag is like..I dont know..have miexed feelings hers.
OMG, Sanaya looked stunning..thank god they have gone in for new look for Khushi..Barun looked very tired though although it didn't affect his performance. Hope he gets enough rest. I hate that thick stubble of his, it makes Arnav look way older..The kissing scene by the pool with a mild stubble takes off atleast 5 years of him..Maybe I am the one who feels that way.
BTW, do they really hold a havan on the day of haldi?
The kiss was okay, I agree, it could have been much better ... I didn't get a sense of why Khushi actually took the plunge - was it really a case of kissing them all in line, and it happened by mistake, or did she decide to take the plunge when she realized that Arnav had been actually looking out for her when he freed her hair? I think it was a mix of both, but she looked so shocked after the kiss, that I got confused - what do you think?

Barun looked tired, but it was Sanaya who had more screen time today - how does this girl look so petal fresh always?
Havan on Haldi day - your guess is as good as mine :) But the Raizadas, specificially Anjali, don't really need an excuse for a havan or a puja, do they?
Having said that, they planned a Satyanarayan Puja for the Arnav-La engagement also - the day Khushi found out about Shyam. So I guess a puja is all in the day's work for them :)
