Funniest part - all the guests walking purposefully from one side of the screen to the other ... do people walk so fast at a party?! =))

Starts with Slimeball Snakewa hunting for his pet scorpion, and Anjali hunting for her pet Snakewa to host the show =))
And tonight Arnav made up for the cocktail party night - he was waiting for Khushi from the word go! :) Now that's like a good boy@ :P
As is NK ... who's far more open about it :)
Dislike scene no. 1 - Manorama ignoring Payal ... hello, she's your would-be DIL, it's the wedding festivities, why this kolaveri di? Akash stepping in - cute! Anjali stepping in - likewise! Although Anjali's smile was toooo wide!!!
Dislike scene no. 2 - Buaji dragging in a huge box ... honestly, who would go to their samdhis' house for a function like this? Ridiculous entry! Cv's idiotic brand of humour again? Fell flat for me :( :-q
Even worse - the two ghabru jawans stand watching an old lady drag in a heavy box and do nothing to help.
The parts where NK sees Khushi and Arnav keeps missing her, were cute ... just could have been done differently. And Sanaya looked gorgeous :"> ... the unusual dress style made her look very exotic and Middle Eastern ... like a Persian princess. No wonder Arnav stared spellbound and actually swallows - showing how much she affects him :"> Love their instrumental Arhi music :)
Didn't like - the little puff of hair under which her mang tika was fixed, or the ill-fitting top. But the color was beautiful, suited her. Have found very few colors which don't suit Sanaya.
NK gets all excite and rushes off to meet her, Arnav stays put, just smiling slightly, satisfaction and was that a touch of pride? on his face ... of course his tigress has come. Back away from a challenge? She? No way!
But then he does go to her, and offers to call HP to help ... she refuses any help. Again her pride ... he likes it ... (Barun's expressions were superb all through, have to say ... noticed them better on the repeat ... difficult to watch carefully with husband giving running commentary all along! =)) ) So everything which annoyed him about her earlier, he is now appreciating ...
Cute byplay between Arnav, NK and Khushi ... Arnav annoyed she took NK's help and not his ... he starts to leave, Khushi stops him immediately with a challenging remark, ostensibly directed at NK, but meant for Arnav ... NK gushes that of course she will win, Arnav gives him a look - whose side are you on anyway? and NK hastily changes his stand ... and all through the conversation, although Khushi's talking to NK, her focus point is always Arnav ...
Filler scenes with Mami-Buaji ... they will probably need a lot of these to stretch the episode between the dances ... but talking so loudly? The crowds were very funny, bad direction - all walking to and fro purposefully across the screen ... if Payash had to be in the background, couldn't they show them going around the crowd being introduced or something?
Ah ... now we're talking ... Arnav watches Khushi, his entire focus just on her, as she laughs and jokes with NK, and he has such a soft expression on his face - finally!!! :) :"> 8->
Will Arnav remember how strangely Shyam was acting later?
It was actually funny - the choice of song and the lyrics matched with Nani's and NK's dance, while Shyam hunted frantically for his pet bichhoo ... explained the choice of song! =))
And interspersed all through with Arhi's challenging looks at each other, her defiance, his confident smirk, alternating with the softness in unguarded moments ...
Cute, the way Khushi was happily enjoying the dance, forgetting all about the competition, till Buaji reminded her :) and then Arnav's verrry satisfied smirk as he looks at her as though to say - can you match that one? and her worried look back ... seriously, these two don't need too many words! And haven't seen Arnav smile so much ever in the entire show ... the guy is having the time of his life ... Arnav well and truly woken up from deep inside Ironman ASR.
Buaji getting cold feet - Arnav very happy ... Khushi does her best to wind up Buaji and give her some confidence ... buaji goes ... "haar gaye toh?" and Khushi shoots a worried look straight at a very confident smirking Arnav ... awww ... :) :"> =))
Am very sure Manorama's plan will backfire and the alcohol will give Buaji the courage to dance ... it will be a tie for sure, and so Arnav will step in right at the end ... with Teri Meri ... :"> can't wait ... hayyeeeee!!!!
On repeat watch, I liked the episode better - on first watch, the Mami ignoring Payal and the Buaji-Khushi entry put me off. But the Arhi eyelocks all through were worth a rewatch for sure.

Khushi's Dushman party dig at Arnav and yet accepting NK's help and Arnav's reaction at that.
Naani..She rocked and nicely supported by NK.
Khushi thoroughly enjoying Naani's performance till bua reminds her of the competition.

WHAT was Sanaya wearing? Hated Anjali's saree and her hair, NK's slapping Blue Sherwani and ofcourse Arnav's boring bandhgala..Credit to the actors who looked good still.

Snake searching for scorpion with the apt song in play...Found it kinda funny.
Bua, Khushi, NK struggling with the Box and If I remember correctly HP lifting it easlily...Superman with Super Multitasking powers.

ReplyDeleteGeetu: I know right..I think it also had to do with the fact that we know Khushi is going to get bitten..See which is why they should never reveal the suspense..Now all I want to see is bichoo doing its work and Arnav's reaction..Rest seems meaningless.
ReplyDeleteHey guys, agree with you ... it was very much timepass. And the problem is since they have revealed what's going to happen to Khushi, all the dancing and masti will take a backseat, we'll all just be waiting for the real action.
ReplyDeleteDidn't like Anjali's hair style at all, I think she had the same stylist who gave Sanaya the curls on the engagement :( Anjali's saris are usually beautiful, this one was very so-so. Same with Nani. Garima, Buaji and Payal were better. Sanaya's top was a very strange design ... NO idea why they gave her such a peculiar outfit. I found her hair style funny - the part with the maang tika was puffed up too much. But credit to the girl, she still managed to look lovely - her skin is simply flawless and it just glows on screen!
Rest of the likes and dislikes pretty much same as Shwetha's ... Mami is up to her yucky tricks again - hope it backfires and Buaji actually loses her inhibitions and dances well - right now, she has major stage fright! Will Mami ever be found out?!
hey Diyu.....have lost all hopes of Mami ever being found out......remember the phati saree tag.......she tore the saree....and till date she teases khushi with the name....even when she spoiled the sweets during Anjali's wedding anniv party.....they never found out.....not even khushi (who knew how fresh the ingredients were) doubted her..........

Anjali is just over-sweet, Geetu ... especially when Shyam is around, I find her irritating too! In her scenes with Arnav and with Khushi, she's fine.

Forgot to add ... from the Guptas, is it only Khushi and Buaji? And from the Raizadas, Nani and NK and Mami? Why can't Garima dance if mami is dancing? She's not doing much else apart from looking worried!

Dia, I thought the guests had better wardrobes than our cast. And I noticed almost every guy wearing a Suit..Wish 1 TOH Arnav ke collection ke liye add kar dete.
Geeta: I think the reason Anj is extra sweet around Shyam is cos the more sweet she is the more jhatka she is going to get. And mami,who cares...I think her silly acts are more for the Sass bahu audience so never give much importance to that.
Dia: It would be awesome if that liquor loosens up Buaji and she gives a Dhinchak performance, lol

I have seen the promo some twenty times already ... :))) All our dreams coming true, guys ... waltz type slow romantic dance on such a fabulous song! First thing I did was to download the song onto my iTunes and listen to it :)

Okay, more comments on the episode ... Geetu, I saw the scene when Khushi is trying to rev up Buaji, seriously, couldn't Garima and Payal be given some dialogues there? All Garima does is 'haan, Jiji' ... Payal doesn't even do that much!
I think Sanaya is going to have a few wardrobe changes for the different dances, that's why her initial outfit was so bizarre. Though I liked the color, but it was really badly-fitting, and didn't match the lehnga at all ... the lehnga was pretty by itself, so was the top, but together, they were a big no-no. Oh well, she will change soon enough, I guess!
ArHi eyelock makes it second watch.........hey gals.......somehow i can't place the new promo in the sangeet.......like...i thought it was more symbolic but i maybe wrong cause i am bad at symbolism.....
ReplyDeletewhat i read in the new promo was.......till now they were dancing in the dark...meaning, they themselves were not aware of the feelings they have....but then, lights are on.....and Arnav realizes how much she means to him, maybe khushi also realizes......maybe when the scorpio bites khushi.....Arnav will panick bigtime...realizing his feelings...she might also see his panick........and the family members also....it will be a shock for them, how important she is for him.......and then slowly she moves away........that is her state will become more critical.......then.....we don't want happens.......
ofcourse we know she will survive........
i related it this way, cause someone yesterday mentioned LM's fb status about how we sometime feel we have reached the end of the road, only to be reminded by God that its just a bend, and not the end......
aslo the look on Arnav's face, when Khushi walks away in the end, is more of a shocked/horror look
ReplyDeleteGeetu: He looked smug to me with hands in his pockets and didn't seem to react as to why was she pulling away. From promo it looked, she was the one who was affected and he had challenge in his mind even if he got lost in her, he would quickly recover and talk about the challenge.

1. Bua and Khushi dragging the boxwa.......where did the decency of high class family go away?
2. Mami treating Payal......earlier she has recognized Payal in or the other way, then why today?
3. Anjali's curls....yeeeks...Khushi did look damn pretty in curls during the engagement episodes...but for Anjali, it did not suite well
4. Anjali's extra wide smile....really really looked artificial
5. Shyam and his Bichoo
6. Bichoo dance wasn't that appropriate for sangeet...what was it meant to communicate? Like didi teara devar deewan has some meaning....
Now nice things:
1. Inspite well built NK and Arnav, it's HP who showed that he is the mighty strong by lifting the box with two hands
2. Khushi's comment on Arnav as "dushman party......" and taking help from NK
3. NK and Khushi's dialog on "break a leg"...and.."Nanhe ji apki bhi tang toot jaye..."
4. Nani's dance ...though bit stretched.....
5. Akash's small gestures to make bride to be comfortable.....
6. Anjali's gestures to tease both bride and groom....nice
7. When NK is seeing Khushi and Arnav isn't.....
8. NK saying "Bua ji bhi naach rahi hain kya?"...for Khushi comment to Arnav "Hum bhari padenge..."
9. Lots and lots of eye locks , stares, smirks......dreamy...nice...very nice
a. Dikhagayi mujhe wala look
b. Lost in her beauty look
c. Irritated by her talking to NK look

I missed seeing promo. Waltz type dance? OMG....Knowing that Barun isn't a good dancer, I really wonder how this will turn? Shocked look on Khushi's face? Can't wait.
LOL Deepa, the bichoo song was for snakewa searching the bichoo..I was aghast at first, but in yesterday's epi, that was actually the highlight for me loved rest of your take.

And barun is not dancing, he is just basically standing and moving very gracefully, it looks damn good.
@everyone: Dont you gals think inconsistent way Arnav's stubble differs from scene to scene in the space of supposed 2 hours in the same evening? The person who is incharge of continuity needs to be given a big danda, for overlooking this.
