... Says it all ... fear, stark, naked fear ... is she lost forever?
Found it interesting that the flashback Arnav had was from the original "farak padta hai" track ...
She just admitted to him when he went missing, that to her, 'farak padta hai' ... will he be able to admit the same to her?
Poignant touch ... the bangle that he was annoyed about NK and her talking about ... is the bangle he holds so tightly that he hurts himself with it ... their saga started with another bangle in the guesthouse ... and now again ...
Barun was very good in the last scene ... he got very little screen space today ... so the major dhamaka will be tomorrow? A Wednesday - the typical date for IPK high points ...
Sanaya, my Ms Sunshine, was missing for most of the episode :( ...
I liked the Akash-Anjali scene ... Anali's reaction to the news of Payal's first broken wedding was excellent ... one could see her own remembered pain in her eyes ... she had been through the same thing, that was why she was so empathetic to Khushi when her engagement broke, and that's why she will support Akash on this one ... as soon as she and Akash can find their voices in front of Mami's outburst. And it's a really good thing for Akash that Arnav knows all about Payal's broken wedding too - his support is far more meaningful than Anjali's.

The first scene was a repeat ... liked the way (again) Khushi's eyes go to Arnav when NK offers promptly to accompany her ... "can't you come?" ... and then again as Buaji gives permission and she and NK leave ... Arnav still glowering, and Khushi's eyes seem to say "well, I didn't want to go with him, but what can I do, if you don't say anything?"
Nani and Anjali add ghee to the fire (the one in Arnav's heart, not the one in the havankund ;) ) by adding, 'let the two spend some time together.' Burn, Arnav, burn.
Liked the little detailing of Anjali asking the pandit if they could get on with the havan and add the ghee at the end when it arrived.
Loved the Anjali Arnav scene ... Arnav trying Khushi's phone ... been barely an hour since she left, and he's already so restless :)
So Khushi labelled him 'Arnavji' on her phone. Not Laad Governor ;)
Anjali delighted, throws some more ghee into the fire, and Arnav flares up in satisfactory response. Why isn't NK answering his phone, if Khushi hasn't taken hers?
He must be driving.
"Kya zarurat thi ...?" What was the need to send her? Or to send NK with her? I could have gone, I should have gone ...
But of course, he can't say all that, so back to covering up ... "They'll delay the havan .. let me go get them ..."
Of course, Chotey," Anjali, very mendaciously ... trying to hide her glee. Tubelight flickered after so many months, now shining full beam!
Nani asks where is Chotey, Anjali answers ... he's gone to look for his Khushi ... :)
And Shyam thinks he's got another opportunity to get his plan into action, but in his eagerness, he upsets the oil over Anjali ... nixed again, for the final time, as the pandit, Nani insist she change her sari.
Arnav calls home, have they reached? They were not at Buaji's house ...
Liked the way the worry built up slowly, starting from exasperation and jealousy, to tension and worry ... and then finally to stark, naked, unadulterated fear ...
He stops at the barricade ... a girl had an accident here ten minutes ago ...
Slight worry ... girl? ...
As he rolls up the window, he sees the red broken bangle ... and immediately remembers Khushi's bangles ...
And he gets out and runs to pick up the broken piece ... worry building fast and thick ... asks a bystander ... it was a girl who got hurt, there was a guy with her, the car has been towed, the girl is being taken off in the ambulance ...
And Arnav turns and runs ... after the ambulance, just as it drives off ... trips over an object ... a girl's slipper ... hers? "Khushi?"
Gets up and runs again after the ambulance as though his life depends on it ... and as it drives off, he comes to a stop ... holding the broken bangle ... Khushi ...
And the last bit was brilliant ... as Arnav remembers his words to Khushi ... you have no importance in my life, you don't even exist for me ... and his anguish and torment as he remembers those words ... and holds the bangle so tightly that his hand starts to bleed ...
Payal- Manodrama ... typical SP saas-bahu stuff ... as long as it remains confined to Payash, I don't care ... and Payal was surprisingly good in Mami avatar :D Besides, they need a parallel track, otherwise SaRun will collapse from overwork!
Akash finally gets around to telling Anjali about Payal's past marriage ... liked the Anjali-Akash scene ... Daljeet acted beautifully ... the remembered pain of her own broken marriage reflected in her eyes as she empathized with Payal ... she knows what it feels like ...
Just as the R family gets to know about Payal's broken marriage from the decorater ...
And again, typical saas-bahu stuff, where wicked saas speaks nonstop, while all the good guys are struck dumb ... why couldn't Buaji, who is normally so loud, override Manodrama and say, excuse me, your son knows about this. But this should have been discussed by the elders - Buaji and Garima should have made sure that Nani knew the story. Can't wholly blame Manorama for this one.
Tomorrow should be good ... am sure Arnav will explode with rage when he finds Khushi ... unhurt, unharmed ... and there will be a fight first .. before emotions take over ... :"> 8->

Dia, I felt Sobti was brilliant. And in the end when he opens his eyes, you know immediately Khushi is standing right behind him.

Having said that (keep in mind I didn't catch the epi live and have just seen bits and pieces of it so didn't feel the full impact of it)
I was not very convinced about the scene to be very honest. It kinda seemed too sudden, I can't put a finger on it. If he had seen her, then yes..but it could have been anybody and somehow I expected ASR to be calm and be rational even when he is falling apart..Oh I don't know, I will watch it fully and maybe I will differently.
One thing I won't feel differently is that piece of bg music, they played on him..(I personally hate that piece..seems too whiny for me).I hope when the real thing happens to khushi or anjali...They put up a more darker and better one there.
Missed Khushi just like missed Arnav the other day. Goes to show how much both characters are loved equally irrespective of who your fav actor is.
Manodrama & Payash:
I am liking it. I am relieved that these 3 will cater to the saas bahu crowd while Arhi sort their own issues.
And I love Utkarsha..she is too good. Also I love the fact that the dialogue writers tend to take a little bit of sting/venom from her dialogues by inserting English..So it kind of makes it tolerable.
Payash are the second leads. I hope Akash steps up here and is able to handle everything. He will always have Arnav's support no matter what, it would be better however, if he does not depend on Arnav too much..It will be his mom and his wife.
Mamaji although has little to do always leaves a mark.
The Guptas have hid something although they told Akash & Arnav, the fact is one of the elders should have spoken to the R family. This will come to haunt them during Shyam's crisis too especially where the entire R family has been kept in the dark.
Nani will rightly say and hopefully say it too, that certain matters are better dealt by elders and should not be left to the youngsters.
Akash loves Payal. Mamaji & Nani know what Anjali went through, so they would support Payal too. Mami will be the one who will create some ruckus. I say bring it on to please the saas bahu crowd.
And the biggest piece in the jigsaw puzzle is yet to be fit in - Arnav's role in Payal's marriage. Why Khushi got delayed..I have a feeling, Khushi would not give away Arnav what he did cos it is between them, she will probably say she got delayed cos of questioning or something.
The R family will ask Arnav & Khushi why they kept quiet about the whole thing.
My only question is this..Is Arhi marriage really going to happen? All the rasam's are done with as per Deepa's checklist, lol.
So What will Arnav say when Mami asks him If you don't have a problem with marrying a girl who has had her rishta broken, why don't you marry Khushi, why should My son be the one to make the choice. You support Akash, why don't you marry her?
Is this where is it leading?

ReplyDeleteLast qs first ... I still doubt this is leading to Arhi wedding ... I think cv's will milk the love and romance for a while longer, now that they've seen what it does to the TRP's.
But there's no doubt the story is moving faster ... I agree with you that Khushi will not let Arnav give away his role in the breaking of Payal's marriage ... she will take the blame on herself.
I really hope Akash and Anjali play a bigger role in this one and insist they knew about Payal's first marriage, also Anjali chimes in with her own history - that should shut Mami up for sure.
An Agree again, Buaji and Garima should have made sure that Nani knew about Payal's first rishta ... leaving it to Payal and Akash was not right on their part at all. Again, will this come up when Shyam's truth emerges? That the elders should have known better?
The Arhi part - Khushi's feelings are pretty clear now ... she is head over heels in love with Arnav for sure, only she will never say it ... just as he won't. I actually don't want a conventional "I love you" kind of confession from them ... I want it to remain unsaid for a long time yet ... because it is so clear in their eyes.
The chase ... I watched again, and it was better ... not brilliant, but good ... I think the break up of the scene with the RM melodrama was off-putting. Barun's expressions were decent as the worry built up slowly . But the last bit, AFTER Arnav has his flashback was VERY good ... Barun was excellent! Still not as good as he could be, IMO - his "sorry" and the girl in the temple moved me more ... but very good.

Marriage I am still not sure..maybe an engagement might happen. They will never have a conventional I love you.

Barun was superb.... Since he was shooting out door, that explains why he was missing during Havan scenes.
ReplyDeleteArnav being restless..."what was the need...." meaning for her to go with NK, but again him being typical ASR doesn't completes the sentence and rushes off to find them. Anjali tells Nani "he has gone to find his Khushi...". Did Shyam hear this? Did Shyam also hear when Nani said "NK and Khushi should spend some time....(ofcourse to tadapofy Arnav)?". What would he do now? Will he try to harm NK? Arnav? I guess that will be mystery now.
Payal was good at enacting Mami. CVs also need to explore more of her acting capability.
Anjali's pain was visible...She is good actress as well...She related her past with Payal and she is with Payash. Mami with her regular nautanki...giving so far only missing track of IPKKND, typical Saas Bahu drama. Yes Guptas should have spoken to Raizaads about the broken alliances.
Aila, the Lucknow phoolwal remembers Payal and that wedding was broken.??? Must be eating chamanprash.... Millionaires Raizaads and not so doing well Guptas have same decorator.. interesting..
Now to Arnav,
I liked Baun in the last scene. His fear, fear of losing her, fear of not seeing her again, horrified him. His sasein ruk gayi. His own words "you are not important, you don't even exist" came back to haunt him. But you could feel the pain in his eyes. Arnav's agony touched me. You could feel the restlessness, helplessness, loss of words, and pain all at the same time. Arnav will also now remember what Khushi said during their temple sagai scene "you will realize one day that devi mayya controls your fate and not you. That day when you realize, I won't be there on that day.". I felt Barun gets less scope as compared to Sanaya. He should get equal scope and he is a beautiful actor. Last scene , where he opens his eye, as Shwetha said, she will be behind him and they will get back to usual spat....Irony is, it took this accident to make Arnav realize and not Bichhooo (after all the hype that bichoo had)..LOL
On the lighter note...Barun really runs fast...him being tall helps I guess.
On sadder note....Arnav didn't even bother about NK.
Now that Mami is on the verge of calling off the wedding, I am sure Arnav will say the truth behind it. Raizaads have seen broken engagement incident with respect to Anjali. So I don't think Mami will go the route of "Why Akash should marry such girl....Arnav would you marry such girl..?" and impulsive Arnav marries Khushi then and there ? But I am guessing Arnav resolves Payash wedding issue and Khushi falls in love with him. Arnav any way has realized his feelings and now Khushi will too. With Nani and Anjali tadapofying Arnav will help CVs give us doses on intense and romantic episodes. And they have to run longer also right? Now I wonder what would be Shyam up to?

We all know Mami has been Desperately looking for an excuse to oust Payal..
Now she finally gets one solid reason - The lie about Broken marriage.
She can't go all out on Broken marriage thingy cos Anjali has been through it and she genuinely cares for Anjali.
The lie - Here Akash might stand his ground that he knew and he is okay with it.
So now comes the question Why did the marriage break up?
If the Guptas say dowry, will she easily believe them?
Now of course Arnav comes into play, saying what they are saying is true and he was the reason Payal's marriage broke up and the whole Khushi ramp thing comes out.
If it comes to that and he says he held up Khushi referring to the Dori incident, I hope Khushi immediately comes to his defense saying she got held up cos they were questioning her and by the time she reached back, the baraat had left again ensuring from her side, what happened between them stays with them (awww)
Arnav will be going all out to defend Payal cos he was already responsible for her marriage getting called off once, he will make sure that he won't be responsible for the second time.
He can say well the Guptas did ask him to tell the R family, it was his fault he did not cos he did not think it was a big issue?
Now will Mami counter that if he has no issue would he marry a girl who has had her rishta broken (in this case, Khushi)
Now this is where my question is How low will they show Mami go?
Mami's next weapon is Khushi..
She has seen Khushi dance with Arnav, infact she was the one who realized what went on there, She has seen Khushi kiss Arnav, so would that be her weapon?
See how the Gupta sisters are cunningly entrapping the Raizada boys etc etc.
So again it will call come down to Khushi..And arnav already reeling from the near miss Khushi thing, how will he react?
Will they go this dramatic way or they would show something else?

ReplyDeleteGeeta: Well something has changed between the two from the 2 sbs segments yesterday and today...So I am hoping he hugs her atleast. Heck who would have thought Payash would have their Suhaag Raat before Arhi hug, sounds weird I know lol.
@SBS/SBB: Khushi and Arnav come home..Apparantly akash & anjali seem to have quitened Mami and khushi faints and the whole family is waiting her to gain consciousness including Arnav who is sitting right besides her.
And in all this confusion, he seems to have brought bangles for her or did he pick up the old ones? Is confusion ko kya naam doon.

ReplyDeleteAfter the new SBS, I don't think there will be an Arhi marriage. Arnav and Khushi will sambhalo the Payal broken marriage issue between them ... or if Akash really surprises us, he will grow a backbone and with Anjali's help, he will handle Mami. Because Payal and Gupta parivar are very much there at RM when Khushi returns, so means the rishta is intact and no Arhi marriage for now. And Khushi is still confused about Arnav's feelings for her, so hopefully the romance will take some time ...
Deepa, lol at your comment about the decorator, and the bichoo ... that plastic bicchoo got so much screen space :)))
So bottom line, Payal's truth will come out, but maybe not Arnav's role in it yet ... now what exactly that accomplishes, I don't know ... maybe gets Arnav Khushi closer as she is grateful he helps convince Mami, or she hides his role, and he appreciates that ... whichever way, it should have some impact on Arhi also ... otherwise what's the fayda of this last minute drama? Unless it was just to fill time between the Arhi scenes which are coming up :)
Just read Shwetha's last comment ... forgot about that ... where did he manage to find bangles in all this? :) And why is she in such a hurry to put them on after just fainting? *lol*
ReplyDeleteChalo, seems like lots of Arhi coming up ... also, they seem to have caught up with their schedule ... NK's tweet on Monday night said they were shooting at night, and that episode will probably air tonight ... let's see when today's SBS segment airs. Though that one I don't trust so much for timing, have a feeling the channel/PH tells them when they can air the segments, regardless of when they were shot.
Dia: In a way it is good that mami is shut up by Akash & the rest of the family. So arnav's role still remains a mystery and Guptas get away with hiding something.

My prediction ... they will get unofficially married, Parineeta style, during the Payash wedding ... as the pheras are going on during the 'shubh mahurat', these two will exchange a chain or something ...
