Thursday 13th September
Arnav bitwa, learn from the Creepwa ... when you overhear a suspicious conversation, stay to hear the entire thing! Remember the last half conversation you overheard and the satyanash it led to?!!!
Oh, and stay out of sight a little more cleverly please, will you? You just told Khushi you don't trust Creepwa, then why don't you listen carefully to what he has to say to your Dadi, who is the biggest KMH of all? And you know she wants to break your wedding ...
*sigh* hence proved ... Shatir Dimaag of ASR was a myth all along!!! :(
Just a little earlier this evening, I said the wedding won't happen ... looks like I was right! :(
And why is the villain always the one with the most 'shatir dimaag'? X( Shyam sees Arnav and says all the right things about wanting to reform ... don't tell me Arnav will fall for that one!
And Dadi didn't tell Shyam about Garima ... he will find out himself ...
So will the wedding happen or won't it?
So many pointers ...
Arnav tells Khushi that if he leaves her hand, he won't catch it again. Khushi upset at his words, he manaos her.
Arnav's ring gets lost early morning ... Anjali finds it. Seems like cv's are trying hard to restore Anjali to her former pristine self ... but the damage has been done. Her world is complete with her husband back, so she's ready to forget her lost baby and celebrate Arnav's marriage. A day ago, she was prepared to fast unto death, forgetting completely about Arnav's marriage being affected!
Khushi's mehndi rang is pheeka ... and she is most upset about it. She tells Arnav he doesn't love her enough. Arnav upset at her words, she manaos him. He says don't ever say I don't love you. His love doesn't need proof.
Seems a separation is imminent, that's why we got so many Arshi scenes ...
The first kiss ... mutual sorry's ... and 'I was joking, about leaving your hand' ... so Di's happiness is enough for Arnav again ... *head desk*
The farewell at the door ... okay, slightly better, Di's happiness is good, but he still doesn't trust Shyam ... though he does acknowledge that keeping him away in anger was not the best way to do things. And a promise ... "hum aur tum ..." "Hamesha na?" "always ..."
Haldi ... Sanaya looking simply gorgeous ... I love the Bengali red and white sarees ... and the style of tying them :) And mogra flowers :) Actually I liked all the red and white sarees :)
Liked the Khushi-NK nokjhok about the missing Arnav! :))
Shyam-Dadi ... so Shyam fed Dadi a pack of lies about Khushi ... Jeez, Dadi has to be the most stupid woman going! Ready to believe one man's word against the word of her own family, including her own best friend, her grandson and granddaughter, who is perfectly happy with the wedding, and all assorted members ... and the man she believes is the chief accused!!! I see where Anjali inherits her brainlessness from!
And of course Shyam is the only one with brains so can see the Garima-Dadi equation *head desk* Hope after the reveal, Shyam goes back to being the bumbling villain, and Arshi and their tensions take center stage again!
*edited* ... deep breath, long one today. With all the symbolisms, couldn't be otherwise :)
Arshi ... Arnav says sorry for hurting Khushi ... the two things he said which hurt her most - that she broke his trust, and his telling her to leave. Telling her to leave - that was easy, by calling her the night before, he already made up for it, letting her know he didn't mean it, he didn't want her to leave, not his house and definitely not his life.
Breaking his trust ... she went behind his back to get back the person he hated, the one who had hurt him, her and his Di ...
I said yesterday that this was a tough decision ... weigh the two options, keeping Shyam out, knowing that Di was cracking up without him and well on the way to physically harming herself .. or get a potentially dangerous man back into the house. The problem with the way Arnav was handling it was that he was coming across as heavy father, making arbitrary decisions, and Shyam was coming across as martyr, the man who was truly penitent, ready to make up for his mistakes and not being given a chance. The entire family with the exception of Anjali distrusts Shyam, and is unhappy to see him back, yet the entire family also understands why Khushi got him back, and respects her for it ... she was the one most affected by the Creepwa's wickedness, and only to save Di from harming herself in her blind stupidity, she called back the man who had hurt her so much. And again like I said yesterday, it was a very tough decision, no one else had the guts to go against Arnav and take the call, and Arnav would not have abided by the decision if anyone else had taken it. But today once he has cooled down, and after Di's and Nani's words, he realises why Khushi did what she did. So his 'sorry' was for saying she broke his trust ... he knows she didn't ... she was looking out for his Di, and doing the best she could in his absence.
And she says sorry too ... she knows he still doesn't like it, doesn't like Shyam being back, but they really had no choice.
If he had listened to Khushi when she first suggested to let Shyam meet Di after the miscarriage, this situation might have been averted. Shyam's martyr act would have been spiked, Arnav would have come across as the magnanimous forgiving brother, telling Di, I don't trust this man, I don't like him, but you need him right now, so I will let you both meet. Di would have no excuse to throw tantrums, because he was agreeing to her demands, and Shyam would have had no leg to stand on ... he was allowed to meet his wife and comfort her, and even feed her medicines and food. Which is all he claimed to Anjali that he wanted to do. Now Shyam came across as the martyr, ready to forgive others for misunderstanding him, but big bad brother Arnav was being villain in the love story. That way Arnav would have remained in control of the situation, leaving Shyam on the back foot ... and Dadi too. She would have had no ammunition to fire with.
The best way to end an argument is to agree with the other person.
Khushi's kiss ... I love you and I'll always be there with you. Thank you for understanding me ... I know I did something you didn't like, but I had to. Thank you for understanding why I did it.
Second kiss ... just because she wanted to ... I love you and I want to be with you ... in every way.
Arnav's smile ... showed how much he loved his Khushi taking the initiative, not for any dare or challenge this time, but purely out of love. :">
Buaji calls, she shakes free to go ... Khushi always the one more worried about what people will say, what if someone sees them ... Arnav never cares ...be it HP, or the whole family ...
He threatens her ... if you leave my hand and go now, I won't catch it again ...
And for the first time Khushi's insecurity surfaces ... 'don't say such things again, not even as a joke, I don't like such jokes.
She was always ready to sacrifice herself, to leave if it meant making others happy ... she walked out for Di's sake, using the contract as an excuse ... but not any more. Now she can't bear the thought of losing him, she is as dependent on him as he is on her, she won't let go in a hurry, not for anyone else' sake ... and she reveals, for the first time, how scared she is to lose him ... She went through it once when he was kidnapped, she can't bear the thought of losing him again.
And Arnav happy ... no, delighted to see that, see how much she needs him, as much as he needs her. And his smile widens when she doesn't stir when Buaji calls again ... she's lost in the comfort and security of his arms, knowing she belongs there ... She has someone of her own, finally ... after the loss of her parents at such a young age, she finally has someone she can call her own.
Anjali-Shyam ... again her happiness is most incongruous ... she just lost a baby, for heavens' sake, and all she can think is that things are back to where they were before. :( Shyam busy in smooth-talking her and convincing her that he's delighted with the Arshi wedding ... again showing her he has no interest in Khushi at all, it was all a big MU.
Dadi-Shyam ... hand in glove ... or rather, another puppet for Shyam ... another woman who doesn't know how easily she's being manipulated.
Arshi at the door ... another thanks, for returning Di's health and happiness, he realises he wasn't dealing well with the situation in his anger ... but Shyam ... finally he does bring up the topic ... thank god, I thought he'd forgotten in his happiness that Delusional Di was happy again!
"I don't trust Shyam ... and he's back in the house ..." unsaid, we need to be careful ...
And Khushi says 'I know' ... yes, they do, but she's with him, they'll deal with it together. Thank God she didn't say Shyam might have reformed ...
And a repeat of his promise ...
'Tum aur main ...'
'Hamesha na?'
'Always ...'
A promise of togetherness, but in different languages ... their ways of dealing with things might be different, but their goals are the same. Ad they can still walk the path together.
And they part with smiles ... soon they will be together for always ... both anticipating the future together with joy ...
Arnav sees Shyam-Dadi in cahoots ... and overhears a part of the conversation ... *sigh* Arnav, listen to the entire conversation if you want to eavesdrop, and stay out of sight!!!
Dadi ... uss ladki Khushi ke baare mein jo aapne bataya ...
So Shyam told Dadi about Khushi being other woman. and colored her views completely. Obviously Shyam knows something of the family history and knows 'other woman' is sensitive subject for Dadi.
Dadi wants to correct a mistake ... Arnav overhears that part and wonders what mistake. Arnav does know that Dadi is still against Khushi and his marriage with her.
Shyam changes his stance smoothly ... he doesn't know what exactly Arnav overheard but he's taking no chances. So he mouths dialogues about reforming himself. Let Dadi implicate herself, he will get away scotfree. The same way he manipulated Buaji into offering her house as PG, and marriage with Khushi as recovery plan for Shashi ... he planted the suggestions and let Buaji voice them ... today too, he's planted the seeds and will let Dadi do the dirty work for him.
And he clarifies to Dadi as soon as Arnav is out of earshot that he's with her all the way, Arnav was listening in. But stop the marriage they will.
Khsuhi upset about her mehndi color ... Buaji tries to reassure her, so does Garima on Buaji's urging. But the mehndi color is pheeka ... so the love is not yet completely rooted.
Arnav wakes up with a smile on his face and looks across at the other side of the bed ... in just a day or two, his Khushi will be there with him :"> But then his ring goes missing ... and he's worried.
NK asks what he's looking for ... Arnav says 'Khushi' ... :"> ;) for him the ring is Khushi, happiness, the promise of it, till the real Khushi is with him :">
Anjali finds the ring ...will she unite Khushi and Arnav when troubles hit them? Saccharine sweet Anjali back ... but it will take a while to redeem her shine.
Payash tell him to hurry up for the haldi. Arnav asks if Khushi is here. Poor guy has it bad ... he can't wait now! :"> :))
And Anjali has decided on a surprise haldi at GH ... rather strange decision ... but Arnav isn't quibbling! :)
GH ...
Khushi looking like an apsara .. or Shakuntala ... in red and white with the floral jewelry ... not typical haldi colors, but she looks so pretty!!!
Raizadas enter ... Garima again heran pareshan.
Reaction in GH when Shyam enters ... almost everyone is awkward and disapproving ... Mami, Nani, Akash, NK ... they are tolerating Shyam only for Anjali's sake. And this time Garima, Buaji and Khushi don't hide their feelings either ... so somehow the Guptas have also been informed about the booting out and return of the scoundrel. Mami actually smooths over the awkward moment ... like I said, she now respects Khushi and knows it was a tough decision for Arshi.
Another bouncer ... Buaji says soon it will be bye bye ...
Khushi looks for Arnav ... NK offers to step in, but for Khushi it's Arnav or else a fantasy figure ... no other man will do. :">
Arnav shaadi ke baad zehmat uthayega ... so will the wedding happen after all? And troubles will happen after it?
And Khushi throws another small tantrum ... her mehndi is light and Arnav hasn't even bothered to come for haldi ... no wonder the girl is annoyed! :)) But she melts a little when Arnav shows up :) :"> and then goes back to doing nakhras :))
Cute dialogues between Arnav-Khushi ... SK is waiting at the traffic light, go marry him :)
Dadi is missing ... so we will have some fun-filled haldi till she arrives.
Khushi squabbles again ... grumbles to Arnav about her mehndi ... voices a hidden fear ... her mehndi is light, she wants reassurance of his love again, because now she can't bear to lose it ...
So she accuses him of not loving her enough ... and it's Arnav's turn to be upset ... don't say that again, don't ever doubt my love for you, it's strong and doesn't need any proof.
And Khushi realises she hit a sore nerve and apologises instantly ...
His mother doubted his father's love and killed herself. This is a very sensitive area for him, and he can't bear the thought of losing Khushi.
Khushi's turn to manao him and say sorry. How easily these two respond to each other now, understand when the other is hurt, upset, and immediately forget everything in reassuring each other of their love.
Precap ... am really annoyed, WHY is the villain in this show the only one with any brains?! It's getting really annoying to see him get away every time ... things had better start changing pretty darn soon, otherwise the constant winning of his villainy and the negativity will kill the show!

Loved the episode...
ReplyDeleteDays of Haaaaayyyyyeeeee revisited. - title option:-)
Yup Haaayyyyeeee ArHi !!
DeleteUff SaRun is too good ....simple scenes and they make it so heartfelt. Indo me jaan atki hai.
Wese mehendi ke rand chadne ya na chadne se kuch nahi hota .... As a child I used to believe it but now I know certain things are creative bible :D
Jaya you are gonna have a field day with bloopers.. even my daughter could pick few....
ReplyDeleteWhat with these symbolisim all hinting to seperation.. but for me its from Khushi's side i suppose... and again will it be mami, anji and NK to get these two together because anji finds the ring pretty soon, so will it be anji who will bring K back after bitwa goes into peetal bartan???
what with all the gupta and riazada clan shifting from lucknowi to bongs.. and who the hell wears white at haldi, uff one day I praise them the next they have to go down..
But I will take all of it because of Arhi... Arnav looks positive there but Khushi is all negative.. why do i feel that bitwa and bitiya will act to hate each other ??
I am done with Anji playing any role in ARHi's love life....thanks but i will pass...if she is dying to return a favour, let her go live somewhere other than RM
DeleteAaru, the last para makes sense as per the dialogues....when the BFTP happens for a moment Arnav will leave her hand and she will think he doesnt love her, there by going away....
Deleteall the while he thinking that she knows he loves her and she thinking he has left her hand so won't hold it again
for me the creepiest part of epi was Anji finding the ring becos it almost meant Arnav will lose Khushi and Anji will lead him to her....(symboism ki toh main vaat laga doon) if push comes to shove, PLEEJ Godjee can we have our hero atleast doing this one thing on his own....without any help from sayani di....can we have one hope, SKD, he wants her for only for himself and not for his Di....becos after Di's khushi and all that matters mera thodasa dehal gaya hain....
DeleteRekha, if Khushi moves away from him, and he tries every method in his book, still she doesn't come back...then she wud listen to only Nani and Anji....and these two got them together symbolically...Nani during the mehendi laga ke rakhna dance...and Anji is yesterday's episode..
DeleteGeetuuu,
Delete*hugs*
I was thinking the same thing today on the ring.
Yesterday I felt it was that Anji would bring the families to accept Arhi, now I feel ASR will pursue Khushi, she'll not relent...Anjali again might become the reason(either she persuades Khushi or something that happens to Anjali makes K come back...basically Anjali becomes an instrument for Arhi union..def not for ASR's realisation of his love)...
loved the last part.....of the episode....no one does that passionate lover boy better than Arnav....hayeeeeeeeee!!no one does a coy lover better than San....both looked divine...wat a coupe...sizzling hot....
ReplyDeleterest of the epi was a bit of a blur...too many superstitions/omens to really figure out what was the real purport...
Di khush....thats all that matters....did anyone want proof....arnav has not yet verbalised his feelings on matters regarding Khushi but involving Di.....actually i am not sure how to read Arnav's dialogues about thanking K for returning his Di.....is he saying there was no alternative and so Khushi did the right thing...IS the CVs way of telling us they are 100% behind Khushi on this matter....Well CVs if u say so.....its ur story.....BLAH!!
Arnav's dimag does a blink and miss appearance...thaw effect will take some time..he follows Shyam to Dadi's room and eavesdrop toh pura convo kyun nahin suna...damn fool....
R famiy's new errand boy- Snakewa....
brings shagun thal and runs to call garimaji...
But manega padi...only person who can decode Garima yet is our VLR...didn't take him seconds whereas her family is still in the dark, dumb Khushi, dumb buaji.....
Rekha: wrt to shyam-dadi, Arnav's dimag will work the second time, as per IPK stds.....
DeleteJab jab ASR ne kuch kahan hai KKG ko, he had to take back his words.
ReplyDeleteHe WILL have to prove his love.
This is interesting - Ab ayega truck pool ke niche :D
Sam,
Deletewhy do u say that?
the scores have been pretty skewed on that.....
ASR never looses a deal...and she is the biggest Deal of his life...... koi shaq :)
Deleteyeh huwi nah baath ....i'm sick and tired of symbolism shymbolism, wese bhi samajh nahi ati thi pehle .... And its normal in every shaadi to talk about whether things will go right or not ....will see and hear the ones that makes me happy.
DeleteHamesha with happy and pyaar wala RV it is !!
Rekha bandha still says "Di is happy that all that matters"
He WILL have to come to terms with the fact that "Agar tum mere pass ho toh nothing matters" no past nothing. This has to play out literally not just in his mind.
Well chado baad ki baad hai ... Abhi ke liye am happy with ArHi dose :D
Sama/Rekha/Dia,
DeleteI personally have lost all identification with all the characters in this show - they are too flaky and dimwitted :) But just playing devil's advocate here...
Looking at things from ASR's POV:
The current crisis was Di's loss and her ability to handle it.He had a strong opinion on how to do that - unfortunately for him , his wife-to-be had other ideas and solved the problem, and the whole family sided with her.Now he has two options - go with his gut feel and kick creepwa out, traumatise Di yet again, turn against the whole family, and turn against Khushi..
Or make peace with what happened against his better judgement.
And he did exactly that, rationalised Khushi's action by by looking at the positive side - Di is happy , that is all that matters - all he was ignoring was the means used..it was no way an allusion that Khushi does not matter as much.
The discussion that ASR has to make a choice keeps coming up...and I ask why ?
Till now nothing has conflicted between what is good for Khushi and what is good for Di..Shyam is a creep in both their lives and getting rid of him will help both Khushi and Di.
Khushi is out to help Anjali because Di matters to Arnav, not because Di matters more to ASR than Khushi.
Anjali and Khushi have never been pitted against each other - they support each other to the hilt so far - so where is the need or benefit of ranking their importance.
The only people pitting them against each other are the audience.
From what I have seen and understood -I did not see Khushi's actions being driven out of a sense of Di is more important than me, so I am sacrificing myself - heck she did not even express an iota of unhappiness at having to bring Shyam in or being in his presence...
The only time she brought that in was when she left after the : "I wish you had not come into my life" ...
Yes Di is the anchor in ASR's life - she is the mother he lost. And he will do anything to protect her. Whether she deserves it or not is not a judgement he even thinks of making - just like we do not think if our kids or our parents deserve our caring.
And Khushi is his love - and he believes he can take care of both of them.Like he unconsciously did after the terrace scene- marrying Khushi..he is not going to let either go.
And also - if we expect ASR to put Khushi above all else , including Anji , should we be griping about Anji putting Creepwa above all else, including Chotey ? If we remove the audience insight into Creepwa away - Anji believes her Pati parameswar is beyond reproach - and her intention is good too, to get her inncoent husband back:)
Sri,
DeleteI agree with you wholeheartedly.
"Anjali and Khushi have never been pitted against each other - they support each other to the hilt so far - so where is the need or benefit of ranking their importance.
The only people pitting them against each other are the audience."
Sri....i guess my comments at most times have looked as if i am just waiting for the choice question to be posed to Arnav...
DeleteSince u raised this point, i feel i must answer too...and bear with me if its a long post...
I read Gul's vision of this story....i am not going repeat it here, but was intrigued by Arnav's position...to love a woman who was pursued by a man who was his BIL and while that would have been nothing great in itself.....the fact that his sister was emotionally fragile made his position so much diffi....and add to that the BFTP...tadka...i thot what an unenviable position to be in....better still what a setting for a romantic love story.
To cut to chase,I expected the fireworks from the point of Anji's hysteria (on slapgate and when that didn't happen, on miscarriage) and now with Shyam being in RM, the stage for drama was really set up...becos if u see what is difference in the situation now and the situation 6 months ago....Arnav's feelings towards Khushi...his atoot vishwas in her and his inability to think of life without her.....
So choice will become necessary at some point warna how does AM earn his paycheck? So, conflict has to come in some form....the most likely person to provide it is Anji, with her insistence on Shyam....a man that Arnav hates beyond imagination. Actually there were diff ways in which the track could have been handled...
But ofc his acceptance today was a little funny to me...so i presume the BFTP is going to provide the next turn of drama with Shyam adding fuel to fire but i hope u get what i am saying.....NOT the dilemma that i was hinting at....
And coming back to choice.....actually nobody should ever be in such a situation.becos if we are practical these loves are not comparable.....yeh koi 1st place 2nd place ki baat nahin hain....but having said that...in the unique situation of ASR, i would hope for one day, the man to have the perspective that life comes with pain and no one can guarantee that their loved ones will not suffer any pain ever.....And if u see, his extreme sensitivity to Anji's pain is more visible than Khushi's pain....yes there are reasons for that too but I am inclined to believe, this is still a 14 year old promise.....i woud expect some maturity in this graph for Arnav in respect of Anji...thats all....
And last but not the least, a love story without conflicts...kuch baat hazam nahin hui....if that was to be only be delivered by VLR....i would say what a waste of the huge talent pool in Raizada House...
And to clarify "And if u see, his extreme sensitivity to Anji's pain is more visible than Khushi's pain....yes there are reasons for that too but I am inclined to believe, this is still a 14 year old promise.."
DeleteI meant to say...he lacks the ability to say honest things to Anji, he is more likely to assuage her feelings rather than let her face reality.....I am hoping, he gathers courage to do that by making the necessary closure with his past...
DeleteRekha,
“**So, conflict has to come in some form....the most likely person to provide it is Anji, with her insistence on Shyam....a man that Arnav hates beyond imagination***”
Agree conflict has to come in some form for the story to go on and if they had kept that hate going it would have worked. But now with his tame acceptance of Khushi’s bringing Shyam, he has put that hatred to sleep:) With that track they totally decimated both Khushi and ASR’s characters – Khushi I have already written a ton and ASR with his impotent reaction at seeing the man walking around in the house:)
LOL after this the only sympathy I can garner for either of them is for their gross deficit of grey matter :)
***“in the unique situation of ASR, i would hope for one day, the man to have the perspective that life comes with pain and no one can guarantee that their loved ones will not suffer any pain ever.....And if u see, his extreme sensitivity to Anji's pain is more visible than Khushi's pain***.”
True – but ASR has already shown that change with the refusal to bring Shyam in despite Anjali’s demand- he went to the doctor – though the wrong kind ASR is looking for the smallest excuse to throw Shyam out as he believes it is not in her interest to have him around. He is willing to inflict the short term pain on Anji. It is the rest of the family that addled the non-existent brain and he fell into the path of least resistance – again so as to not hurt both Khushi and Di.
Even the difference in sensitivity to the pain of each– is that not an audience perception issue too? .After he acknowledged his love , he has not made light of any of Khushi’s pain either – he’s been there to support her thru everything
***“I meant to say...he lacks the ability to say honest things to Anji, he is more likely to assuage her feelings rather than let her face reality.....I am hoping, he gathers courage to do that by making the necessary closure with his past****”
Are you sure-he did ask khushi to unveil shyam in front of Di,and actually went to deliver the terrace news to her himself..but got cut off by the baby news...Come to think of it, It was her physical frailty that stopped him then and even now
Par CVs ka kya bharosa kalko pura ulta kar denge ;)
Rekha,
DeleteAnd please don't worry about butting in or long posts- its not like mine are short - that is the whole point of nline forums - we get multiple viewpoints and I always enjoy reading yours :)
I was more disappointed with Arnav's reaction today ... like I said earlier, I could see the need to bring back Shyam escalated because Arnav was handling the situation all wrong.
DeleteIF he had listened to Khushi the first day when she said - let Shyam meet Anjali ONCE, the situation could have been averted. Yes, Shyam is a monster, yes, he killed his own child, but the family doesn't know that. They know he kidnapped Arnav and tried to kill him, but even a condemned man is allowed time out to meet his family for a tragedy. Now if Shyam had been allowed to meet Anjali in front of the family, even feed her, give her medicines, Anjali's complaint about Arnav not letting her meet the father of her lost baby would have been met.
Shyam played the martyr card completely on that one ... I edited the 5th Sept episode today - am still feeling scarred watching that pukeworthy scene again ... but what did he say there?
"I love you very much, I want to be with you, take care of you, but your brother hates me more than he loves you, your family will never let us meet."
Zaalim duniya is against our sachha pyaar.
Have learned while handling my kids, esp since they became teenagers and felt they knew what was best for them ;) ... give in to the small things, and use that as leverage to set your terms for the bigger issues.
If Arnav had allowed Shyam to meet Anjali on his terms and conditions - meet her once, in front of the entire family, you have half an hour ... Shyam loses his martyr status instantly, Anjali has nothing to crib about, and Arnav knows what is happening. If Anjali still cries, still doesn't recover, he tells her, I allowed Shyam in, he's not helping, you're even more upset after he came, so now no more. I listened to you, now you listen to me.
Now he had to give in to Shyam coming back and couldn't put in any conditions at all.
The way he answered to Khushi today ... Di is happy so it's okay Shyam is back *head desk*!!!!
It should have been ... I understand why you did it, Di needed this to start recovery, now we have to just wait it out till she is better, then get rid of him again.
Again for Khushi, it should have been the same ... when he said, I still don't trust him, she should have said ... not just a simple 'I know' ... but 'I know how you feel, let Di recover then we will deal with him.'
After all, Arnav threw Shyam out once when Di was pregnant, he can do it again once Di has got over the acute loss and recovered her health, and is not popping mysterious pills day and night.
Also Sri, the reason why Shyam had to be let in ... Su had detailed this ages ago when the kidnapping track ended, and it is exactly as she said ... the whole situation was set up so there was no proof of the kidnapping. Sure Payal confirmed the engagement story, Shyam did have to admit to that ... but that left him basically as a proved philanderer, a husband who had strayed once. The kidnapping was never proved beyond doubt to Anjali ...
DeleteArnav confirmed Khushi's truth to Nani, including Shyam's confession. But he has not till date told Anjali that. The only time he told Anjali anything, BOTH times in fact, he said he thought Khushi and Shyam were involved.
Mami had seen with her own eyes Arnav being carried out by the kidnappers and Khushi's desperation to save him.
Akash did believe Payal about the Shyam-Khushi engagement, he was only angry she hadn't told him.
So for Anjali, at most, Shyam strayed, and Khushi was involved ... if Khushi could be allowed back into the family, why not Shyam? And the kidnapping - she just does not believe.
For Anjali to see Shyam's true colors, he HAS to return to the house. And Khushi or Arnav are the only people who can allow him in ... no one else in the house has the authority. Arnav has it, Khushi is the only person whom he has given it to. That is why when she said she brought Shyam he did NOT throw him out immediately ... if Dadi/Nani had brought him, Arnav would have done so. So in that sense, they are both within character. The only problem I have is, like I said, with their reactions once Shyam is actually back ... I would expect them to have more of a 'it's a bitter pill we have to swallow, but only for the moment' kind of reaction.
"Yes Di is the anchor in ASR's life - she is the mother he lost. And he will do anything to protect her. Whether she deserves it or not is not a judgement he even thinks of making - just like we do not think if our kids or our parents deserve our caring."
DeleteVery true ... that is what I feel too. He will always take care of Di, even if he doesn't like her choice ... like getting Shyam back. Because he is confident that Di will never hurt him deliberately.
Which she won't ... right now she is being manipulated by a master, she will not consciously hurt Arnav. She just doesn't think about his happiness when she's lost in her own misery, that's all. Once her world is restored, then she can worry about him. Selfish? Maybe. But Arnav did something similar ... he concentrated on Khushi, celebrating her birthday when Di was deep in mourning for the death of her marriage. As I'm biased, I will say he had more justification - he and Khushi had just been through hell and almost lost their lives.
Where Di comes across as being more selfish is because she doesn't seem to care about Arnav's feelings about Shyam, and that he claims Shyam tried to kill him ... that makes her more difficult to relate to. I have been married over 20 years, yet till today I cannot tolerate my husband or in-laws saying a word about my parents or brother ... hurting them is out of the question!
"Anjali and Khushi have never been pitted against each other - they support each other to the hilt so far - so where is the need or benefit of ranking their importance."
I think the only time they WERE pitted against each other was right after the kidnapping ended, and Arnav told Khushi he wished he had never met her. Then Anjali had basically asked him to get Shyam back for her, he refused to do so, and let out his frustration on Khushi. That was when their needs conflicted, and he chose Khushi's needs over Anjali's wants ... because what Anjali wanted was not right for her. Then Anjali wanted Khushi to leave, because in her deluded state, she felt if Khushi left, Shyam might come back. Khushi left, but Arnav went right after her. So you can say there was conflict then ... it resolved because Arnav made it clear to Anjali that he was not going to give up Khushi. But there has never been any question of his giving up Anjali for Khushi ... the question was only the other way around. Because Khushi never asked or expected him to do so ... she knew Anjali was a very important part of his life.
Dia,
DeleteI have given up any hopes of rational behavior that is comprehensible to me in IPK. Given that Raizada mansion seems to be Delusion Central and the cumulative IQ of its inhabitants seems to be under that of the individual viewer - analysis of any of them is pointless.I was only offering a counterpoint .
Anji is delusional about shyam's past- anyone with an iota of brains can string the evidences together - Gul just hopes audience is also delusional and believes the no evidence hogwash.
Khushi is delusional about her own importance and ability to fix other people's lives better than they can do it themselves.
And now ASR is delusional about letting a scumbag, a murderer settle into his house and everything will be A-ok, because Khushi brought him in- and really believes his Di would have died if she hadn't - really ?????
Dadi is delusional about her ability to read people - urgently in need of clearing the grime off her chashma
Nani, Mami are delusional about Anji Khush to sab theek hai ...
NK is the only voice of sanity in the house.
And Shyam is the only Shatir dimaag ..
Akash and Payal are wallflowers ...shukar hai Lakshmiji nahin hai nahin to inko phool patti samajh ke kha jaati - sorry Shweta:)
Made peace with all of the above - so I just peep in on the madhouse and get a few laughs now :)
Shyam's power of suggestion (J, i loved that quote, so borrowing it *hugs*) working not only on Anji but on DD also...
ReplyDeleteAisi kya pati padayi Shymu ne DD ko, Cvs, hamein bhi batoa or will this also be consigned to the many raazs of IPKNND
Its a no-brainer as far as the track is concerned about Arnav siding with Khushi, Gul would not have spent six months building atoot vishwas track if she did not have faith in her story telling..
ReplyDeleteThese signs are nayi soch...from PH.....kaharab ishaare par sab kuch achha hi hoga......from Arnav's side....but Khushi kya karegi yeh koi nahin jantha....Since Arnav was the person who will have to prove his love to viewers, he will pass the test....Now, Khushi made no such promise to us viewers hain na? toh sacrifice ki strong jhalak mujhe nazar aa rahi hain like what others are saying....
Agree. When they show a 'sign' so blatantly it's usually a red herring...:-)
DeleteSama,
Delete"He WILL have to prove his love.":
By going after her...
The day of RB, when Khushi goes looking for Anji: ASR says,
"I swear,....if she has run off again...."
Rekha,
"Now, Khushi made no such promise to us viewers hain na? toh sacrifice ki strong jhalak mujhe nazar aa rahi hain like what others are saying....":
Sacrifice for whom? Amma? ASR? Dono?
Hi Su,
DeleteMain dekh rahin hoon, tum dandaa lekar mere peeche padi ho....LOL...
Sacrifice for Amma, i guess...varna separation kaise hoga?
Rekha,
DeleteCorrect Answer. (at least the one that I wanted, and you knew it?)
For that, no more danda on Anjali and conflict though I am itching to...*hugs*
Am out of touch, can't access the net or tv but just caught a glimpse of kkg, please tell me the epi was good coz kkg looked horrid! When did she turn bong and what was that hidious stuff she was wearing, sorry if I have jumped the gun, just cAught a glipmse so maybe the whole thing was better but kkg looked old and badly dressed (ps. I lovvveee the bong red and white in general!)
ReplyDeleteYeah her weird flowery get up didn't work!! Loved NK's kurta!
DeleteDunno when they all became bong- themed haldi- lol
Devdas-Paro ... Samjhe ya samjhaon !!
DeleteWell maybe I am used to seeing flowery stuffs and of all horrid ones I have seen MILs choose for their DILs ... Sans actually looked nicely done specially earrings.
Wese bong hi hona tha to haldi mein its always bashanthi not even yellow. Bashanthi is flame yellow with just a hint of orange. Associated colours are red and green. White is not for haldi.
my sense is they must had no idea how to accessorise after choosing the white red combo of saree so they must chosen this option....it was a bit odd..esp the earrings but San is someone who can carry off most looks...so the effect was still very great...she looked lovely....
Deletebtw, they usually do haldi in yellow saris/actually cotton saris becos anyways they will get all haldied, white is almost avoided in UP belt....for such occasions..khair.nayi soch gud....its gud to evolve...
yup cotton sarees ... There are 2 for occasion ....one plain cotton which bride wears during haldi application and then after bath (which is my favourite - thats the time to tease bride :D) bride wears one thats loaded.
DeleteMona,
Deletesupposedly it is made of flowers...I can't believe they are real flowers..Jasmine will not stay fresh like that and would get cut thru...must be fake.
Think of it as party theme- dressed up as shakuntala or something..bong does not gel in unless they want to make a pointer to devdas. (Blah explanation, I know!)
The episode was really a good one. My dying hopes with the serial have been revived. :)
ReplyDeleteChalo, by bringing Shyamji to Anjali, kahani toh kuchh aage badhi...otherwise we wud have been stuck up with cryanjali. I don't why, I do not mind creepwa on screen, its Anjali that makes me feel put off.
I did not understand one thing today. How can you shift a marriage function to the bride's house without informing them?...and in GH, everything was so much decorated, with nice seating arrangement as if they were expecting visitors!
Watched Madhubala after that...such copycats of IPK! It had the same garam tel malish scene. ..and teri meri song in the backdrop of a party when Dhrishti Dhami enters the hall and the hero goes to hold her hand. Aiyyo, IPK ki popularity kaafi hai.Even the serials are stealing its scenes.
Yesterday, one of my students brought a pen drive to show me her presentation. Guess what! It was 99% similar to creepwa's PD and I almost shrieked..."Did you buy it from Chandni chowk?" without even realizing Lucknow main chandni chowk kahan se aa jayega. Hehehe! Such is the jaadoo of IPK. :))
Anany,a
DeleteThe writer and director of IPK have shifted to Madhubala ... they seem to be suffering an acute lack of creativity if they're showing similar scenes so soon after showing them in IPK :D They also did a forced wedding around a burning chair I believe ... around the same time Arnav and Khushi did their abortive pheras on the terrace ad Dadi saw them :))
*rofl* I would have loved to see your student's face if you HAD asked her that ... she would have probably asked you if you watched IPK!!! :D
Dia,
DeleteIs that true - I mean the part about the IPK writers moving to Madhubala ? i started watching that after reading your comments about Drashti :) I am not a big fan of the bad boy hero - so the serial did not particularly hook me - but yes they had the burning kursi pheras before IPK did, I think - read a comment on some youtube video - and teri meri seems to be a staple in all serials - punarvivah did it too..bechare writers bhi kitne scene create karenge :)
Sri, I heard that GH was writing for MB quite some time back ... the buzz on IF was that Arshad Khan has also moved now. Though his name is still in the IPK credits, so am not sure whether he has or it is just rumor. I haven't checked MB credits.
DeleteI watched an episode of MB after ages last night - I get them a day late here ... the guy did not hook me at all, neither did the show, but I like Drashti. Though not enough to follow her show if it doesn't appeal. And it hasn't till date ... for one, the love-hate marriage is far too similar to IPK for me to want to watch two shows with the same theme!
Punar Vivah is actually more appealing to me ... it's a serious story and it's being dealt with quite nicely. The kids are very cute, the MIL has reformed now :)
And after watching the Jai Jai Shiv Shankar scene, I REALLY WISH apna BS could dance ... it would add SOOOO much to the Arshi story if they could have some nice dances together ... some light-hearted ones as well as the more intense sensuous ones which are actually the staple for all romances on telly.
Dia,
DeleteFrom what I understand, these guys handle many shows at a time. So they'll come back for certain episodes, I guess.
I don't get alarmed when the names change, it is a team effort, right.(I do understand GH is a big asset to IPK, even then if he had left for good, they won't be showing his name.)
Though the chair burning scene in MB happened before IPK, ours was better. I watched both the shows and IPK only stands out...the other one was a mess with the guy being drunk and all...I mean, the premises were totally different.
Dia, What a pleasure to read your elaborate update and edit after a long time! :)))
DeleteWithout those daily doses "Kahin kuchh chhoot raha tha..." (as in Arjun.... I like watching Arjun on weekends and boy! what an attitude the man has).
I am not a regular on MB..sometimes randomly catch some episodes. I like Dhrishti from her Geet days but the rest of the star cast does not appeals me. Those big fake sets are also a put off.
Definitely it would be so nice to see more Arhi dances.
Waise, I had said earlier also and I repeat that Barun's discomfort with dancing suits the character of Arnav. Inspite of not having the dancing skills, he brings so much intensity in his dances. Who can forget 'Teri meri' and the 'Dance of passion'? BS did full justice to the dances. The sangeet was a missed opportunity.
Looking forward to more passionate dances. Shiddat!
During the kidnapping track, I was seriously disliking his upcoming movie. Now I feel that whatever maybe the fate of the movie, Barun should get accolades for his acting. He deserves it!
...and yes, I also like Punar vivaah.
Hey girls

Hey, UJ, Thx for dropping in.
DeleteMissing you.
HEY UJ,,
DeleteSo glad to "see" u.....
HUGS...missed u...glad glad...
UJ!!!! *hugs*
DeleteGood to see you :))) ... where are you these days?! Miss your long posts and the discussions on mythology ... come back soon!
Su, Rekha and Dia
DeleteThanks for welcoming me back. Glad to be back and really missed coming here although I can't say the same about IPK. Although I have been watching the episodes regularly the need to analyse seems to have left me. Something is fundamentally wrong with the way Anji character is being handled. For someone like Anji who cannot breathe without her husband and Chotey she seems to have far too easily forgotten and accepted the loss of her child. Her child, her flesh and blood, a life with in her, a living breathing, kicking, summersaulting, beautiful, pure, innocent life with in....
3 years ago, we lost our little baby boy 'Shubh' at 34 weeks. The umbilical cord being the culprit. 3 years on life has moved on, I am still trying hard to move on. I know I have to but his angelic innocent face always flashes in front of me. He was truly mine, a part of me.... Glad we got a chance to see Shubh and hold him. Could not have lived without knowing what he looked liked, without knowing what it felt like to hold your own child.... My hubby and I completely devastated losing our only child.... Can't continue this any more. The wounds are too fresh to carry on....
So back to the reason we all come to this cafe... IPK. it just felt as if they made a mockrey of such a sensitive issue.... Since then have not been able to connect. I always knew Anji was going to lose her baby and always knew Shyam would be responsible for it but I seemed to have felt Anji was far more responsibile for the death of her child then Shyam was. If you are carrying a tiny life inside you why would you move around with glass pieces in your feet... Pregnant or not you would not move around with glass pieces in ur feet period.... So if pregnant not a chance if you had any sense.... Anji seemed to have overcome her baby's loss in a matter of two days but craved her hubby back....
I truly apologise if I have spoilt the mood and momentum of the cafe... I just needed to get it off my chest....
Dear UJ,
DeleteI am so sorry for your loss....i also know words will never be adequate to express this. I sincerely hope Almighty keeps u in His care always..
the words that we use to analyse characters/unreal people all become meaningless and worthless in face of a real experience, a real tragedy....It seems all pointless really....
UJ, i know our words at times would have picked up nuances from real life, talked about it too, sometimes with fervour, sometimes with nonchalance and for it to be this close to someone's real pain...breaks my heart...and if any words have hurt u, really sorry about it too....
I don't know u....but just this moment...feel i do somehow.....**warm warm tight virtual hug for u*
"it just felt as if they made a mockrey of such a sensitive issue.... Since then have not been able to connect.":
DeleteUJ,
I am the biggest champion of Anjali(purely as a character) and I must say I am disappointed with Gul- the loss of the baby has been handled as trivial issue and I am sure there is not a single mother in the world who does not feel like you. It is a shame that Anjali is not shown to be mourning. Let her get on with the wedding, but they should show her silently mourning the loss of her child.
I cannot understand why they'd overlook such a major issue. My only guess is that probably none among the creative team is a mother...so they just don't know the sensitivity of the issue.
I am really sorry to hear about your loss...
Hugs, yaar.
UJ
Delete*HUGS*
UJ ... *hugs* cannot begin to imagine what you must feel ... the loss of a child is the worst loss in the world, and takes almost forever to get over. I pray to God to give both you and your husband the courage and strength to deal with it.
DeleteGul and co have really disappointed big time with their handling of this issue. Like Rekha, I hope nothing we said here while discussing fictional characters hurt you in any way ...
Sending loads of virtual hugs your way :)))
UJ, i can barely imagine what you have gone through. but i am so glad to hear that you got to hold him and name him.. even through your loss, you made it tangible. so many moms never get a chance to have that one moment .. and i know my mom still grieves for one she lost at seven months, forty years ago..
Delete*hugs*
i never had to go through this truly heartbreaking loss, but i have to say..it is indeed irritating to see the CT treat the subject as lightly as removing a pillow. some way or the other, IPK has managed to break our addiction to this show.. in the last month. even when they treated suicide in such a lighthearted manner, it did not affect my addiction.. but now, somehow i have nothing to say about the episode yesterday.. and that is truly testament to my detachment to the show right now.
Jaya
Delete**HUGS** I can understand your disconnect with IPK. although it's just fiction, fiction is only as good as it comes close to reality...
Yes, in a situation like Anji's I understand she needed her hubby but I think somewhere they should have shown her missing her mother, missing that motherly care. Should have shown her seeking solace in nani, dadi or mami the mother figures... Although she needed her husband's support I think she needed more support from a woman who would understand another woman. No matter how close you are to your hubby, unfortunately there are some things that only a woman (mother) can understand not because men don't want to but because they can't. They don't experience pregnancy in the same way as women and so I would have liked to see her seeking support in a mother figure, grieving for her baby.
As for being able to see and hold my lil boy, I wouldnt have it any other way J.a lot of my extended family and friends disapproved of it when they found out I had held him and named him. But what people say/think has never bothered me. Thankfully hubby and immediate family supported me in my decision. I am a proud mum and that's all that matters. Proud of him.
I try to remember Shubh in the most positive ways. We (hubby and I) with the support of our family have started a charity in India to support women with Antenatal care if they can't afford it. It's a small charity and we can support only 2 or 3 women a year but everytime we support someone it reminds me of my lil angel and reminds me that it's Shubh and the courage that I draw from him that makes me go on.
Dia
Thank you for this cafe. I have never been able to talk about Shubh to anyone and I won't say I can express myself completely today but at least I opened up a bit. I think it's knowing that I might never meet any of you in person and hence will not ever see sympathy in any of you that helped me write what I did. Support - yes I need it, Sympathy - no not at all. Unfortunately sympathy is normally what people offer and hence I stay clear of expressing. But I can't thank you enough for this cafe.
Jaya, hugs to your mom. Believe me I know what she would have gone through....
UJ,
DeleteIf R&R helped you in any small way, I am happy - that is a far bigger reward for opening this blog than the pleasure we get from endless discussions on a fictional show ...
Many times I think about cutting down the time spent here, or shutting this blog itself, especially when my husband grumbles about the time I spend here. But when I hear from people like you, Shwetha, Cheng and others that it helps you, when I remember the support I myself got when I lost my dad ... that is the big push to keep this going :)
*hugs* again
Cute episode, wish they wouldn’t throw constant hints of impending separation…but good that they brought out ASR’s confession.
ReplyDeleteHmm… Both times,
only ASR’s feelings were brought out- in fact thrice…
1. Ek baar chhod diya tho I’ll not hold again…and taking back his words at her discomfort..(Pointer that Khushi might be the one to let go of the grip and though he said in jest he will not go after her again, we know it is not going to be that way.)
2. So he says always/hameshaa at the doorstep
3. And re-iterates the point at haldi- my love does not need any proof…
Bitiya, after all this declaration if you let separation happen, you’ll have a lot of explaining to do-make sure you are prepared -when he hunts you down.(LOL as if I can predict!)
And Bitwa, if YOU will be the one to let go, GUL will have a lot of explaining to do…Hmphh…
So iss uljhan ko kaise suljhayegi, Gul?
Each time it was Khushi demanding proof or declaration…OFC, she does not have to prove anything more…he is so confident about her love.
Dadi- Shyam scene: Tata Bye Bye to bitwa’s dimag…*head desk* ASR is back in his SKD…………….(I am just wondering what was the need for that scene? So, basically what I said y’day could play out…ASR takes his eyes off Shyam because of BFTP and a false sense of security that he could’ve reformed. I am not going to IF: I bet they are making mincemeat out of the CVs for putting ASR exactly where Khushi was last Friday. Chalo, at least he heard a confession out of the horse’s mouth. They gave him more akal than Khushi…
But the implications are huge…so he will forgive Shyam if he thinks he has reformed? …a Pandora’s box…. I’ll peek in later.)
Su, I feel that both ASR and Khushi's feelings were brought out today, their fear of losing each other ...
DeleteKhushi's fear of losing him was brought out for the first time here ... till now, she has always been in sacrificial mode, ready to leave if her going would help matters. Today she expressed her fear of losing him as well ...
Every time he has said he will not go after her, he will forget her, the opposite has happened. :))) Just saying :)))
Will the wedding happen? My prediction is NO.
And I hope I'm proven wrong ... win win for me :)))
Dia,
DeleteWhat I meant by ASR bringing out his feelings:
He did not demand any proof from her.
She was acting like she was insecure.
Yeh to chalta rahta hai na, har ghar mein- women always want proof- words, thoughtful actions, gifts...men generally just seem to understand. (My personal opinion)
Or maybe it is because women are too giving...mauka hi nahi dete in logon ko - they never need to demand proof because we don't give them a chance to complain. *wink*
DeleteIt is true about Khushi anyway.
If he demands proof, she should let him have the chappal as proof!
Rekha,
ReplyDelete"for me the creepiest part of epi was Anji finding the ring becos it almost meant Arnav will lose Khushi and Anji will lead him to her...":
Think positive. Your explanation is what I felt too. And I welcomed it...I feel it just means that Anjali is the one who will get the family to accept Arhi...not anytime now, months later...(The Q is which family?- the Raizadas or the Kumars? Before Anji gets him the ring, he has to meet the Kumars.(Sandy, thanx to you.)
I've been talking about Arhi separation from Teri meri 2 and it is happening only now.
Arhi definitely does not need Anjali to play cupid...that much is clear.
DeleteSu,
DeleteNow who are the Kumars ? Looks like I missed some reference :)
Sri,
DeleteIn the epi where ASR goes to Agra, when he gets the call that interrupts his plan to acompany Anjali to temple- he says "I'll meet the Kumars 3 months later" - Sandy said Kumars- Kumari...Khushi Kumari Gupta...indicates Guptas ..I feel it means someone from her father's family...probably a track that will come later. Pure speculation...afterall we need to see her side of the BFTP too.
I remember the scene when khushi lost her engagement ring, she found out about shyam and broke off the engagement. Will arnav do the same? I think my heart will break this time sigh...:-(
ReplyDeleteAm editing 5th September scenes ... seriously feel like puking at the Creepali overdose. :(((
ReplyDeleteNo wonder TRP's plummetted last week ... who the heck wants to see such bilge?! Half the episode was Dadi fighting Arnav over Shyam, the other half was Shyam spouting his foul sweet poison over Anjali ... yuckkk!!!!
Dia,
ReplyDeleteAgree with you 100per cent that if villain wins every time it will kill the show.Said the same thing in my post yesterday. In fact I was so angry that didn't feel like watching the show when it first aired ..watched only after reading the comments on R&R
Hope the PH gets some sense into their head..
Andg then we wonder about falling TRPs.ILf it had not been for R&R,I wouldn't have even bothered to watch.
Riya
hey how is everyone!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute episode!! SI and BS are at their best when they do scenes like this!!
couldnt quite understand the reason behind the Bengali theme for the Haldi..but who cares!! they all looked lovely!! i love that red and white combo..only thing that didnt appeal to me was SI's jewellery!! so not happening!!
when ASR was standing at the window, i was thinking dude you should have taken classes from your BIL on the art of spying of people!! he made it so obvious that he was listening in!!
The ME looks interesting now...marriage or separation...
UJ,
ReplyDeleteWords fail me.the loss of ones child is the most difficult loss to bear.my prayers that God gives you strength
and fortitude to bear this loss.Love to you.

ReplyDelete*HUGS BACK* thank you for ur support guys. It means a lot. And please don't worry about having said or discussed anything here that might have hurt me in any way. Its just a discussion with everyone's POV and I respect it completely.
I guess Anji's character just put me off.... Not to mention dadi....
Now that things are off my chest, bear the consequences of getting my long posts from time to time again....
Dia, I agree that the wedding will not happen not yet.... ASR meets the (kumars) in 3 months. This was said in the 19th july episode... Who are the Kumars? Don't really know but have a feeling that Kumars are related to both Khushi and Garima. I don't think he will meet the kumars in person but he will find out the actual and whole truth about that hadsa in 3 months time making it mid october.
2. Mami - 6 monthly EMI style wedding so the wedding will not happen even in october...? Why?
ASR: ek baar hasth chod diya tor phir nahi pakdunga...
Khushi: Hume aisa majak bilkul pasand nahi hai...
The fact that ASR was kidding got her worked up so much, when he calls off the wedding that will just shatter her. ASR will have to make lots of efforts to get his khushi back...
3. Mere pyaar ko kisi saboot ki jarurat nahi hai... There probably isn't any proof of what happened on the night of hadsa. It's all circumstancial... Dadi's word against Garima's. Arnav knows bits of it and possibly nani knows some of it.
My feeling - this track will be about ASR realising his love for khushi is above Garima and his parents' truth. That he loves her not just because of who she is but despite of who she is.... Just like khushi realised during KN track that she loves him despite of what he did...
4 DM has already granted her permission for the wedding so it's a matter of when the wedding will happen rather than if the wedding will happen.
5 'jab bhi aapko jarurat hogi, hum hamesha aapke saath rahenge' ASR will need Khushi all the more wen Garima's truth comes out. Ironic isn't it? He will run away from her because of the truth and seek support inspite of the truth... ASR turmoil and angst on it's way I reckon.
6 'sub kuch phir se ho raha khushi' the past is repeating hmmm.... So did Garima not know ASR sr was married if she really had an affair with him.
UJ,
Deleteek baar haath chod diya tor phir nahi pakdunga...
I feel:
Khushi is the one who moved away when Buaji called- it was in response to this that ASR said the above dialogue:
I feel this could mean that she will let go of the bond...again...when her family calls her...
What I mean is:
'What if:
Dadi uses Garima’s past to blackmail Khushi out of the marriage?
And she cannot tell Arnav because she does not want him to think badly about her Amma.
And Garima being Payal’s Amma too, Khushi wouldn’t want dadi spilling the beans, thus affecting her respectability too in the sasuraal… May be Khushi is also unsure of how ASR’d react to Garima being BFTP…and she does not clear the issue with Garima too, because she suddenly remembers how Garima tried to avoid dadi…she does not want to put her Amma thru more trauma… and therefore backs out of the marriage.'
One scenario that could happen, despite the promo and MM promising dhamaka and spilling of colours...
maybe the confrontation will be in secret- dadi uses this as a weapon to get Khushi out...
When the recent fight took place,I thought Khushi'd use that as an excuse, but they made up.
What excuse will she make up this time?
Last time, when Khushi left for GH for good, she made up Buaji's illness.
So, if and IF K takes the step towards separation, she has to give an excuse, what will that be?
Will she make up a new one or create a situation..."yeh ladki kya cheez hai?"
I am in a fix. I cannot imagine either of them wanting to withdraw...but Khushi might do it for her family...even then will she not know that she is hurting Arnav willingly?
Another scenario is:
DeleteASR says Khushi has to leave all ties with her family, because he just cannot accept Garima- but ASR knows how precious her family is to Khushi- so I don't know if he will make this unfair demand on her. Afterall what happened in the past is not Khushi's mistake.
Dia,
ReplyDelete1. “I would expect them to have more of a 'it's a bitter pill we have to swallow, but only for the moment' kind of reaction.”:
Aren’t we seeing the bitter pill effect:
The look of disgust on everyone’s, esp Khushi’s face as Shyam enters- she has not forgiven him. OK, this could be just that she canot forget what he did to her, however wil tolerate this improved version for Di’s sake.
ASR telling Shyam in words- “I’ll tolerate you till Di is better, after that you are out.”
Yesterday, ASR might’ve had a small thought, ‘what if Shyam has changed?’- I hope better sense prevails.
2. “That was when their needs conflicted, and he chose Khushi's needs over Anjali's wants ... because what Anjali wanted was not right for her. Then Anjali wanted Khushi to leave, because in her deluded state, she felt if Khushi left, Shyam might come back. Khushi left, but Arnav went right after her. “
Dia, I feel the conflict was between what Di wanted and what he felt was right for her and HIM (both their safety) was right for her. Yes, Khushi was also a factor, but he threw out Shyam for playing with Di’s feelings and assassinating K’s character…He did not concentrate on Anjali’s wants, because he thought Anjali wouldn’t want VLR anymore since she will trust Chhote’s truth.
I felt there was no conflict in ASR’s mind then- he did it for BOTH of them.
Seeing from my POV, I never saw Anjali expressing desire that Khushi should leave, not in words or actions.
Some thoughts on yeserday's discussions,on the latest developments in Anjali's life:
Delete(Since we've gone over and over again on the earlier ones)
1. “The cvs put in the scene of Arnav missing Khushi, trying to call her after such a big fight ... BEFORE Anjali stepped in with her 'please forgive Khushi for my sake' ... I would like to think it was done to show the shifting relationships ... “:
This scene, I thought was put in for our benefit. To tell us that, yes, this guy does not need Anjali any more to interpret his feelings which was not the case before….And Anjali wil defend her sil because she realizes the enormity of what she did for her…will not let Arhi suffer for it.
And yes, that conversation post RB can be interpreted any way.
And allthose scenes in the past when you felt she was manipulative, can be interpreted as her being manipulative for Chhote’s benefit- so that he does not break the bond with his grand mother and the rest of the family…
2. That s cene where she comes and says, “You love me more than your life”- it could also mean “you love me more than your life, I know you love Khushi more than me. “ Only that scene did not warrant that dialogue..Anjali was only trying to justify Khushi…. And it is true… Chote will give his life for his loved ones…Khushi and Di,
My question is, are we complicating Anjali too much?
So when you are saying Anjali was always manipulative, showed dark traits…My question to you is, what is going to change those traits of hers any time?
She was manipulative in the past, in the present and in the future too. ASR is stuck with a complicated sister and will have to throw her out before Arhi can live in peace again? Because she is going to be manipulative again when VLR is thrown out-
Or she will be shown to repent her sins and will become acceptable to ASR again?
But nowhere, in the original characterizations Anjali’s dark traits have been mentioned. I thought all that Gul intended by that statement was that she cannot handle pressures.
She seems much simpler to interpret from my pov.
Chalo….we’ll know what she is when it comes to it in the show. Till then I hope we get minimum of Anjali- the more she is shown it becomes more complicated as she can be interpreted in two ways, always...
3. “the cvs NEED to show how much Shyam is brain washing Anjali!”: They show it, right …isn’t that what it is..all the feeding to say ILU all the help with the marriage..to show I love and forgive your brother…if they show any more, I’d puke..and already we are all screaming, no more Shyanji…unless you mean he is filling her ears…but he is playing it as she wants it…the beauty of his hypnotizing/ brainwashingtactics.
Rekha,
“from your perspective, Anji will accept the truth when it is shown to her.”:
It is not just my perspective, this is also what DB said in the SBS last week- I felt the actress will know what her character is supposed to be, unless she is playing hide and seek with us. (believable, if you argue that point, given this PH’’s track record of misleading us... *lol*)
Shiddat..Gul, please show Anji to the least minimum possible.
Su,
DeleteAren’t we seeing the bitter pill effect:
The look of disgust on everyone’s, esp Khushi’s face as Shyam enters-
ASR telling Shyam in words- “I’ll tolerate you till Di is better, after that you are out.”
Yes, we saw it there ... I was talking only of the scene where Arnav tells Khushi that Di is happy so what you did is all right. Since that was a private conversation they were having about Shyam, I would have liked it shown clearly that between them he knew why she had called him back, it was something they had to suffer through till Anjali was better and they could get rid of him again.
"Anjali has been manipulative all along ... She was manipulative in the past, in the present and in the future too. ASR is stuck with a complicated sister and will have to throw her out before Arhi can live in peace again? Because she is going to be manipulative again when VLR is thrown out-
Or she will be shown to repent her sins and will become acceptable to ASR again?"
She has been manipulative in the past .. but why did we never mind it? Because whatever she did was for the good of the family, for Arnav ... she genuinely wishes for his happiness. Once she sees VLR's true colors, and accepts that she is better off without him, she will continue to be manipulative ... again for the happiness of the family and Arnav. So why will anyone mind it or want to throw her out?
The problem right now is that she is manipulative all right, but she herself is being manipulated by Evilwa. And THAT is causing all the problems. Not Anjali herself or her emotional blackmailing ways ... but the fact that the man controlling her is evil and she is just his puppet.
And that is the only reason I accept that Shyam had to come back to RM - to pull the blinkers off Anjali and expose himself to her. Because no one else can show her his true face except for the man himself. And once she sees his evilness for herself, she will accept it and truly repent ... because she is not a villain herself.
Even her resentment towards Khushi when the truth first emerged was COMPLETELY NATURAL for a woman in her situation ... if she had been as saccharine sweet to Khushi at that point as she is now, I would have felt she was a villain ot putting up an act. NO woman can easily accept that her husband loved another woman and not feel resentment for that woman ... no matter how much she knows that it was not the other woman's fault. It is not a normal reaction. So her wanting Khushi to leave in the hope that maybe Shyam might then be allowed back was completely natural ... because in a way it's true - if Khushi had not entered their lives, Shyam might still be with Anjali. We have never been shown that he strayed before.
Su,
DeleteI have only been saying show us an Anji even mildly resenting of Khushi or show us a reason for the change, if the change is an VLR, doing his Pied piper routine, show us some glimpses instead of curtain and pillar talk...
I know now the change is due to VLR....so i am not surprised at Anji's behaviour anymore..i am only saying....the carnage on IF/forums is due to not being able to understand this facet of Anji who is swayed by her swami....enuf to go back to la-la land.....
My other reservations about Anji are more to do with what role they give her in the story from hereon....I always believe in all fairness...the ones doing gud deeds must be rewarded before the ones who do gud deeds accidentally....yes life is not always like that....and i agree we can't complain about God's actions but i can rant against CVs action so I would want in all fairness that my beleaguered leads to corner some glory before Di makes her mark....bas itna sa khwab hain...mujhe lage toh yeh hero heroine hain.....
