13/6 - Epi 121 ... Trying To Hold, Trying to Heal

Friday 13th June

The title refers to Paro ... trying desperately to hold on to relationships, to heal old wounds, mend old cracks, bridge old rifts ... and bring the broken pieces of a fragmented family together. She just needs some support, some reassurance that she's doing the right thing ... Mala's apparent acceptance of defeat and guilt doesn't give it to her, neither does Dilsher's silence ... neither does Rudra's anger ... but finally he acknowledges that even in his anger, her presence, her love, is the only thing keeping him going, keeping him alive and breathing, holding him together, and stopping him from breaking into pieces. And that's enough for Paro ... till the next storm!
Loved the song and the picturization both ...
Main tennu samjhavan ki
Na tere bin lagda ji ...

Mohini's sob story continued ... I didn't understand how much of it was true and how much was crocodile tears ... does she really intend to leave the haveli? Or was that her modus operandi to guilt Mala into leaving? If it was, it seems to have worked.
Mohini said that Mala ran away with her lover ... Mala didn't protest. So is that true?
And her biggest grouse is that the business should be hers, but it bears Mala's name ... the haveli should be her husband's but it bears Dilsher's name ... her hard work, her blood, sweat and tears ... but the rights all belong to others.
ROFL moment ... Mohini says ... I always speak the truth!

Glad Aman reminded Rudra that he needed to question Laila about Tejawat ... although it didn't have much effect ... Rudra only ticked her off for trying to get close to him, but forgot to check whether she knew Teju's hideout. Not that it mattered, Teju is way ahead of him there ... he's gone! The only good thing is, that it pushed Rudra into going home.
It also might push Laila into  becoming truly a woman scorned  and throwing her lot in with Teju... which will make her much more dangerous.

Mala, I'm trying to feel sorry for you, even trying to justify you, but for heavens sake ... stop crying silently ... and say something! And running away again is NOT the answer!

    1. Hello Dia..... The Friday episode seemed like a filler episode to me. The events that happened on a single day was shown in five episodes. As usual, liked the Paro-Rudra scene. Paro voicing his thoughts to Rudra and seeking his support. Rudra is not too positive (well, I don't blame him). Yet, he is willing to trust his wife and holds her hand. I also liked the way he put Laila in her place. That makes two of them. Now, I am really curious as to how Laila will enter the haveli. I was not much interested in the rest of the episode. Mala's continuous crying, Mohini's train of lies, Danveer/Dilsher's silence..... everything else was getting on my nerves. Not even interested in Tejawat now. Well, what would I say? The entire week was about the older generation's sob story. But I did expect some positive moments on Friday. Kind of a relief for the weekend. But nothing of that sort happened, so kind of depressed now. ;) :D So, Mala is running away again on Monday. Rudra should go find Mala, because she is a main witness against Tejawat. At this point, I am not even worried about Mala absconding. But I am thinking about the next moves of Mohini and Laila. Sumer is definitely not going to marry Laila. Ghadha hai woh, magar itna bhi ghadha nahi hai. I don't see that happening, unless Laila has some trick up her sleeve. Mohini..... SUTHRADHARI. She makes everyone dance to her tunes. She plans things on the fly. I think it is time for Dilsher/Danveer to share the secret with Paro-Rudra. If they don't open their mouths even after Mala's escape, I don't understand how things will fall into place for Rudra to understand the whole situation. I want to tell something off-topic. Most parents tend to influence their children's thinking. It is good and bad. I am not going to talk about the good things here. The bad thing is that they don't let their children form their own opinions, just because it doesn't suit them. Dilsher, being the hypocrite he is/was, poisoned Rudra's mind and made him hate the person he loved the most. His mom. He conveniently hid his role in the whole fiasco. And the poor woman had to take the entire blame. Better late than never. The older Ranawat brothers better tell Rudra about their marriages. The rest... that is, the role of Mohini in breaking Mala-Dilsher's marriage, can be found by Rudra on his own. I am getting a feeling that the CVs are deliberately going slow with this track to test if the audience is liking it. But looks like some of the next week's episodes are already shot. Hope the TRP increases.

I think the main reason why Sanaya's shows (after IPKKND) are not successful is because the audience expect her role to similar to Khushi. And they expect the magic of Barun-Sanaya. I guess, the second reason is no longer an issue. People like Ashish-Sanaya jodi. But to expect the show to be like IPKKND is not fair. This show is supposed to be a dark/passionate show. Abhi darkness bahut ho gaya. Ab thoda passion dhikhao pleaseeeeeeee...... :(

    2. Madhu, I agree with you. The cvs seem to be dragging the track, unlike the earlier ones which they rushed through at jet speed. Mala hasn't opened her mouth the entire week, she hasn't even attempted to justify herself or explain herself to Dilsher or Paro, both of whom are sympathetic towards her. And now she will leave again without saying a word ... or will try to ... so don't know where the cvs are going with this. And Rudra will blast off again at Paro ... though from the SBS and SBB today, there is more progress on that front at least. Good thing too ... if after all these months, his reactions stayed the same, he would be beyond repair, and nothing Paro does now or later would ever be enough. They have to show some growth on the Rudra front now.

  2. Dia Nice take!! I read all the discussions in your thread in IF. Nothing left to say. Some wonderful posts there. I don't believe Mohini, as you said it looks more like crocodile tears. We will know by today once Mala is out. But Ananyaji was fabulous. The way she was speaking when tears were rolling. She nailed it.

Madhu agree with you on Sanaya's show expectations. Hope this week will start of with some real romance , but will not last long seeing the precap.

Sanaya refused to give bytes to E24. Read in IF. She amazes me by ehr personality. Way to go girl !!!!
